Wednesday Snippet

HELLO! To celebrate me FINALLY finishing Chapter Six of Arise, Fair Sun, I thought I would share a new sexy(ish) snippet. I got a little bit in my head during this section, which ultimately made sense because HARRY was in his head too. I ended up being quite happy with how this came out, so I hope you like it!!

“There, ah,” Harry says, swallowing hard and clutching Louis’ shoulders, nodding towards the alcove. “There should be stuff in the guest bathroom’s medicine cabinet, let me go look. At least I think there is. If not, I’ve definitely got st–” “Don’t worry,” Louis interrupts, silencing him with a quick kiss. “I’ve got it.”  Louis scampers over to his bag and crouches down, unzipping a side pocket and pulling out a small black pouch. He opens it, removing a small bottle of lube and a condom, and then tosses it back down.  “You came prepared,” Harry jokes, his heart pounding, everything becoming really fucking real all of the sudden.   “Yeah I’m a real Boy Scout,” Louis quips, opening the duffel bag’s main compartment and pulling out one of the hand towels that he usually uses in rehearsal. “I’ve got a merit badge in safe sex.”  Harry laughs a little too loudly, doing his best to tamp down the ugly jealousy that’s flared up in his chest out of nowhere. It’s not a big deal that Louis has sex supplies on him, he tells himself. What sexually active gay man doesn’t? When he was dating Oscar and having sex on the regular, Harry had a bottle of lube and a strip of condoms in every single one of his rehearsal bags. In fact, he’s pretty sure there’s still a half empty bottle in the bag he used today. Louis is a gorgeous and desirable man who’s free to have sex with whoever he wants, whenever and wherever he wants. And he probably does, and that’s fine, it’s none of Harry’s business.  It’s not like they’ve actually been dating this whole time.   It’s fine.  It’s not a big deal.  “I’m not sleeping with anyone, Harry,” Louis states, reading him like a book, not a hint of defensiveness in his voice, his face open and full of reassurance. “Not since I came to New York. I’m not nearly as slutty as all the tabloid gossip makes me out to be, y’know.”  “I know,” Harry says, taking a deep breath to settle himself, resolving to be just as honest as Louis is being. “I know. I’m sorry for making things weird, I didn’t mean to. I just got…jealous for a second? Which is crazy, I know, but–”  “The only person I want to be fucking is you, princess,” Louis says definitively, a smirk twisting his lips. He saunters towards him, his cock bobbing obscenely between his legs. “I thought I had made that abundantly clear. Have I not?”

Sigh. New year means it’s time for me to buckle down and cram for exams. It’s the last month of the term, and the only chance I have at passing this semester is getting As on all the rest of my work/exams. I have 1 week to bully as much info into my brain as possible
