This might be more accurate to pre time skip perona bc I’m watching impel down arc, hope you all don’t mind 💗

I just really like her and wanted to write for her since she’s underrated <3 (plus from the poll)

Idk how you and perona met or when but y’all together soo !! 🤷‍♀️

if your dumb/dense- (lol) like zoro or luffy she’s gonna go insane

she loves you..! but your just…..a bit slow..

no matter how through her instructions are you always somehow end up doing the opposite

she has to do a lot of things herself which triggers her because she considers herself a princess

she gets mad at you, but not mad like how should would to bearsy, more so a ‘you can’t do anything with out me 🤦‍♀️‘ typa mad

in fact she usually ends up helping YOU out

”I’m only doing this because I love you, you know??”

she says that while pouting all the time

but if you return the favor by helping her carry something heavy, giving her a kiss on the cheek, or just sincerely thanking her?

shes a blushing mess in denial 💝

She finally has someone that gets her and is on her side!!

she makes you spend lots of time with her

picking out what outfit she should wear

watching the sunset

she does all sorts of romantic stuff with you <3

ngl she’s pretty sentimental

one moment she loves the crap out of you and the next she’s attacking you with hollows

ok I know that seems more moody or bipolar or smth but it’s just because she’s sensitive!

it’s more so that what you say affects her deeply because she loves you

so if you choose the wrong dress and you say it’s cuter than the one she was hoping you’d choose, she’s gonna think you think she’s ugly

(don’t ask me how that translates she’s overthinking it)

Your less prone to this if your average smarts or above

but again if your on the slow side, your love is gonna seem like push and pull

She makes you help her with everything, whatever she needs

and she’s kinda clingy, she always has to have you around

at least in the same room, if your not she looks for you

its not because she’s insecure or anything she just likes being in your presence

If she wants to reorganize a room? She’s instructing you and your doing the actual work

she wants the dishes done? Why didn’t you wash them??

(you make a point that she’s the one who used a crap ton trying to cook and she ends up helping you)

she’s fair for the most part though she may be a bit bossy..

perona’s love languages are quality time and physical touch

(lol physical touch is irony but anyway)

yeah I’ve pretty much been mentioning quality time throughout this whole thing

she basically just loves to be around you, doing anything with you whatever!

she doesn’t like to be bored though so you guys are gonna have to figure out fun things to do

playing hide and seek is always fun with her!

she’s really good at it but sometimes you feel like her devil fruit is cheating 😒

you’ve found her a couple times though!

she was proud of you but also kinda upset at the same time 😂

If she hears you getting close to her hiding spot she immediately moves

So it’s very rare you do win

and as a seeker she uses her hollows (sometimes zoro too, he does it begrudgingly though) to find you

she also goes through walls so yeah that helps, when she hears you she can get to you faster

If your a straw hat Kuma mighta sent you there for stealth training 😂😂

I feel if your highly intelligent you could outsmart her though, especially if you learn her way of thinking

with physical affection perona loves to cuddle, hug and give cheek kisses

NOT around zoro and mihawk though

she gets so embarrassed about it

pda does not amuse her so don’t try it

she doesn’t really like using her hollows on you but she just might

she loves to show you off despite that!

oddly enough

she constantly brags about your feats and accomplishments

she may as well be more proud than you!

Even if you haven’t done much she still prasies you

The ghost princess absolutely cherishes you!

anyway yeah she gives you a forehead kiss before you go to sleep

and she expects one back!

but wait til right before she falls asleep!

it’s more romantic that way 😍

(yes she wants it that specific way or she’s going to be pouty with you the next day)

if you don’t do it right she will ignore you

But she gives in first bc 1) she loves you too much 2) she gets bored 3) she likes your attention

she also does this thing where she holds onto your arm and floats

She secretly wants you to kabedon her

shell never tell you that..

(look it up if you don’t know what it is :P)

She reminds you of a cat when cuddling

she practically curls up into a ball on your lap

she gives you cheek kisses whenever you do her a favor or if she’s just feeling particularly happy

(for more dense m/n that’ll be if you did something smart or didn’t tick her off on accident today)

perona will also simp if you have abs/muscles

will avoid you for a bit if you catch her though

I mean she can go through walls so if your changing and she’s comes in..

OF COURSE SHE DOESN’T STAY FOR THE FULL THING SHE’S NOT A PERVERT IT’S JUST-

even if you don’t mind she doesn’t want you to catch her admiring you

she spies on you working out still, since that’s less suspicious

if you don’t have abs that’s all right

she romanticizes you anyways so no matter what you look like or what you do she absolutely adores you!

Okay so I FINALLY got my sketchbook and so far I really like it, I’ve done these little drawings so far and I really like em’, I could say that I like the non-colored version of the three (Freddy, Peppino and Cuphead) more than the colored version- I don’t know I just think it looks better but oh well 🤷‍♀️

I also doodled these too-

I won’t lie before we went out, my Dad was getting ready so I was playing Cuphead, then I wanted to S rank Beppi the Clown because why not- I was playing on expert 😀

Yeah- BAD DECISION-

I’d forgotten how bad Beppi’s fight was to S rank so…. I just- I just drew these because of how much resentment I have for him-. I mean he really isn’t my least favorite character- trust my I have a few- but I don’t HATE Beppi I just think he’s annoying

So yeah that was my little rant, I eventually did get my S rank (thank god 🥲) but I’m still annoyed from it so I’m gonna choke out Beppi for a little bit-

I was tagged by @galaxycunt weeks ago, and I finally got around to answering.

1. Are you named after anyone?

My great grandpa Tora. But he went by Tory. He was apparently a grumpy ol sonofabitch according to my dad, but it was also his idea to name me after him so 🤷‍♀️

2. When was the last time you cried?

Prolly like two days ago but I don’t know for sure for sure. I cry all the time. I think this time I was crying in frustration at packing for my last camping trip lol

3. Do you have kids?

Nope, and I don’t know if I want any tbh. It would really cut into my time of being the Weird/Fun Aunt who lets my nieces and nephews stay up too late and helps them dye their hair

4. Do you use sarcasm a lot?

Not nearly as much as I did when I was younger. We call that Growth 😌 but sometimes I can’t help myself

5. What sports do you play/have you played?

Ha. I am so uncoordinated I don’t play any sports. I played tennis for one year in high school and hated it. I’ve gone rock climbing once and really enjoyed it even though I was scared shitless, so I’d really like to get back into that. I’ve also been kind of wanting to play tennis again just for funsies with my husband and not actually pay attention to any rules or anything and just have fun.

6. What’s the first thing you notice about other people?

I think height? Because I’m pretty tall and if someone is taller than I am I definitely notice

7. Eye color?

Hazel is the least pretentious way to describe it. Or green…ish.

8. Scary movie or happy endings?

Why not both? I will say I like things to end happily, because I need to have some semblance of hope in the world lol, but also bittersweet endings will stick with me for the rest of my life.

9. Any special talents?

I am freaky good with names and faces. I will remember people who I had one college class with but never actually personally interacted with them. I can also like, trifold my tongue so it looks like a clover.

10. Where were you born?

Ha nice try fbi. Just kidding, it’s just a small town (like, less than a thousand people) in southern Utah and I highly doubt anyone would know the name or where it was, but if perchance they do, it probably means I know them in real life and I’d rather not risk it.

11. Free space

Ummmmm I love hiking and camping, and I’d love to get into photography and videography to be like a nature photographer, I think that would be cool. But I’m also Very Bad at taking pictures. I always forget to take them, or I frame it really bad or the lighting is really bad, I’ve got a lot to learn with that hobby lol. Also I wish I could just wear my crunchy/granolaey/outfits all the time business casual my absolute beloathed

12. Do you have any pets?

No 😔 I want one, either a cat or a dog, but honestly I have so much anxiety around it because there’s this CREATURE in my HOUSE and it needs me to live! And what if it eats my plants and what if my plants are toxic and what if it chews a hole in the floor or the door and we get kicked out and and and (you get the idea).

13. How tall are you?

5’10” 😎 my husband insists I’m 5’9” but he’s wrong

14. Favorite subject in school?

I’m still recovering from the god complex that being in English class gave me so, we’ll leave it at that.

15. Dream job?

I do not dream of labor, but I have a few ideas of what would be preferable than being a receptionist for the rest of my life lol. I’d like to open an online sticker/print shop and just draw and design cute silly stationary and stickers. I’ve also always dreamed of being an author, but seeing as how I can’t finish any of my wips that will probably remain a dream lol.

1- are you named after anyone?

kind of 😅 when my mom was pregnant with me she was listening to Love Line (idk if anyone will remember what that is) and there was a guy that called in that had my name and she liked it so much she just decided on it

2- when was the last time you cried?

about two days ago 😂 i don��t cry often, but i was so overwhelmed with being sick for the first time in 2 years and i was in so much pain and i didn’t really know what to do

3- do you have kids?

NO absolutely not. i don’t want to have kids of my own but when i’m older i’d like to adopt older kids out of the system as soon as i have the means to. even when i was younger i never really liked kids, i only liked babies because at least they slept most of the time 😅

4- do you use sarcasm a lot?

not really :p i never really have a use for it

5- what’s the first thing you notice about people?

their attitude. i can always tell when someone wants to come into a situation with a bad attitude and i do my best to avoid them because you’re not about to ruin my good time

6- what’s your eye color?

i guess it’s like a grey blue 🤷‍♀️

7- scary movies or happy endings?

both i guess :p i love scary movies, it’s been my forever special interest so i can’t really remember a time when i didn’t like scary movies, but i do enjoy a happy ending every now and then

8- any special talents?

i’m AMAZING at trivia, and i love going out to trivia nights :p we actually played a trivia game at home a few weeks ago and i’ve been given the title of ✨Smartest Person in the House✨ don’t ever underestimate the amount of useless facts i know

9- what are your hobbies?

writing obviously :p but i also love reading, thrifting, and i’ve just recently picked up cross stitching again :)

10- where were you born?

Midwest born and raised 😍 my family takes pride on being white trash

11- do you have any pets?

i’m not much of an animal person but at home i’ve got three chihuahuas, all of them are old and really needy so they’re super snuggly :p i still live at home so they’re technically my parents dogs but i guess they’re also mine

12- what sports do you play/have played?

when i was younger my mom tried to get me into tons of sports but i’ve never been a sports kid. she put me in soccer, swimming, horseback riding, tennis, badminton. i think it’s been about 5 years since i’ve played an actual sport 😅

13- how tall are you?

i think around 5ft4 last i checked but i’m about 5ft8 in my favorite platforms 🥰

14- favorite subject in school?

i always loves english, writing has always been a passion of mine wether it was fanfics or short stories or essays. my parents would always say it was math but just because i’m good at it doesn’t mean i like it 😂

15- dream job?

i mean my DREAM JOB dream job would probably be to open up a halloween themed candy store but i know i’m never going to be able to get there 😂 i’ve never really liked considering writing a job, as much as i would like it to be, but if i had to pick a second one i would probably say my dream job is to be a horror screenwriter

can you explain the storyline in critical role for me? if that's too much, who is your favorite character in critical role (and why)?

ohhhhh anon you shouldn’t have gotten me started…..

this is going to be so fucking long i’m so sorry so! critical role is a show/company comprised at it’s core of eight friends, all of whom are professional voice actors, playing dungeons & dragons together. they have 3 campaigns, the third of which is currently happening, as well as many oneshots, talk shows, an animated show, and more. each campaign has a very in-depth storyline, but i’ll do a brief summary of each of them. campaign 1 is vox machina, a ragtag band of mercenaries who become dragon-slaying, vampire-killing, god-fighting heroes. the characters (in my opinion) are all very lovable, and there's some really great romantic, platonic, and familial relationships. it's probably the most cliche in it's representation of fantasy and d&d so i recommend it for people who like that. there's also an animated show of it on amazon prime with one season out and another on the way! no knowledge of critical role is needed to watch the show,, it's how i got into cr in the first place. campaign 2 is the mighty nein, a bunch of fucked up and morally gray people who make a really good adventuring-team-turned-found-family. there’s a lot more diversity in these characters in terms of species/race than in campaign one, which can be enjoyable if you want your characters with horns and tails and tusks and funky-colored skin. full disclosure, i probably know the least about the mighty nein so some of the more complicated plot lines are more confusing to me,, that being said, i’ve still watched a lot of campaign 2 stuff and i adore them a whole lot. campaign 3 is bell’s hells, who really are just some guys that accidentally got involved in something way bigger than any of them. they’re all so dumb and easily trusting and so very lovely <3 there’s some really cool character designs and concepts, which i love. they’re currently on episode 34 of this campaign, so it’ll be going on for a while longer (the other two campaigns are 100+ episodes), which can be fun if you like watching things live. because this is already a full length essay, i’ll keep it very brief on the favorite characters part… my favorite characters are the three played by liam o’brien: vax’ildan, caleb widogast, and orym. liam is just such a phenomenal actor and his characters are so sad and emotional and fantastic and yeah i just love all three of them a whole lot <3 every campaign has moments that are wildly funny and moments that will make you cry your eyes out… there’s also fantastic queer characters in every campaign (including but not limited to aroace characters, multiple ace-spec characters, poly characters, a prominent wlw couple, and a lot more). in addition to the show, there are comics for campaigns one and two, and a published novel with one more on the way. anyways. i’m so sorry for how long this is, but that’s what you get for asking a neurodivergent person about their hyperfixation i guess 🤷‍♀️ i know critical role can seem like a lot, and that turns many people off of it, but you really don’t have to watch the entire thing in order to be a fan. i’ve been intensely hyperfixated on it for seven months, and i’ve watched one (1) episode in its entirety. it really is so so good and such a fun gateway into d&d as well as just a very enjoyable group of people to help restore your faith in humanity and bring a smile to your face. i could not recommend it highly enough.

Currently working on: Nothing much, though I did start this designing a warrior cat clan based on a randomizer thing, though I’ve only designed two cats so far

Hey y’all! Ok so unfortunately I don’t feel like continuing the How the Hashira React to Scars series. I’m really not feeling it anymore and I wish to move on to something else. I doubt I will pick it back up unless someone specifically requested for me to. Also this fic is not my best work, I only finished it because I promised myself I would. How the Pillars react to scars

Part Four: Gyomei Himejima

The reader is a hashira and they have scars all over their body from previous battles. Sometimes they feel insecure about them and the hashira are here to make them feel better!

Gyomie (platonic):

Being positive and outgoing was easy, at least for you. Although you were the highest rank of demon slayer and had no qualms with slicing a demon’s head clean off, you still made it your goal to make others around you smile. You felt that this was your purpose. Seeing how civilians went from being afraid of you, to smiling and laughing alongside you made you proud of yourself. You WERE making a difference. Eradicating demons and helping brighten other people’s day was what made you get out of bed every morning, what made you train even more intensely.

It was just the civilians you tried to make smile, it was also your fellow slayers. The younger they were the easier it had been to lift their spirits, as they got older and had experienced some of the worst that the world had to offer, it became increasingly more difficult. Still you persisted and persevered. Some looked to you for guidance or comfort, and you were always there to provide it.

What was your favorite, though, was making your fellow hashira smile. This was your most difficult crowd yet. Some either barely smiled, or didn’t smile at all. For example, Giyuu was tough, his face never changed, almost always stoic and serious. Except for one day when you saw him crack a small smirk, almost indistinguishable but nevertheless you saw it. It had been after you spent several weeks persistently trying everything in your power to get him to smile. You felt as if you would never be able to get him to break till one afternoon you found his inner weakness. His favorite food. You approached him quietly as he was sitting peacefully under a tree.

“Tomiokasan, I have a surprise for you!” You singsonged. He turned to face you with a look of slight curiosity. In your hands you held a bento box containing simmered salmon.

“I figured you might be a little hungry so I whipped this up for you!” You said as you handed him the box, a fierce smile on your face. He took it, and opened it. That was when you saw the faintest smile; you thought your heart was going to explode with joy.

Every now and again he will ask you to cook for him to which you immediately oblige. He had been the hardest out of all the hashira. Second to him was Muchiro, you found that if you spent time with him and accepted his past that he would begin showing more emotions. You had seen this side of him when you sat with him in a grassy field. The both you were cloud watching when he spoke up,

“Thank you for this, (y/n).” He said quietly.

“Of course.” You replied with a soft grin on your face.

After Muichiro, was Obanai Iguro. He would never smile by his own will, but he always seemed to be in a much better mood when you helped him find gifts for Mitsuri. Then Sanemi, although his callousness and abrasive nature is hard to be around, you found ways to make him cheerful in a way. The two of you would discuss previous battles and train together, things such as this always seemed to put him in a better mood. Next was Tengen, he was very easy to excite as all you had to do was compliment him.

“Tengen! Your nails are so extravagant! Where on Earth did you find those colors! I’m so jealous!” You squealed, holding his hand admiring his new nail polish. This in return made him smile and extend his hand further to give you the whole view. Then it was Mitsuri and Shinobu. The three of you were obviously very close, in fact, the three of you could be seen together almost always when there was a hashira meeting. Sanemi even poked fun one time saying you were all joined at the hip, because of how close you were. It was never an issue to get them to smile. Someone that could have joined your little group with how close you three were, was Kyojuro. Kyojuro spent most of his time training, but when he wasn’t he’d be amongst you three shining like the ray of sunshine he was. Kyojuro had many weaknesses when it came to smiling, but his biggest one was kind gestures. You’d patch his haori, pull his flaming hair into his infamous ponytail, or just plain sit there and let him ramble about his training. He was the easiest in your opinion.

Lastly, was Gyomie. The ginormous stone pillar never failed to amaze you, his size and strength was something you admired greatly.

Gyomie was reserved, so quiet in fact it startled you at times. In your mind he was a magnificent mountain that stood the test of time, but when he was engaged in battle he would become an erupting volcano.

Although you were both hashira, you wouldn’t often cross paths as you were both sent on missions in opposite directions. As a result you have yet to make the pillar smile, let only interact with one another besides in passing.

The situation was hard because not only did you want to be close with him like you were with everyone else, but you also admired him greatly. His prowess inspired you to become stronger. His unwavering sense of justice set a fire in your heart. You wanted to learn from him, so that someday you might be like him.

Something else that drew you to Gyomie was his scar across his head. You too had a very similar marking and maybe you wouldn’t feel so alone if you had someone who understood.

It had been a disgusting day, rain poured for hours causing the ground to become slick with mud, not to mention the air was bitterly cold. Even just thinking about it made a shiver go up your spine. Nonetheless, you had to trudge on through the slop to deliver your package.

While staying with Shinobu, she asked that you deliver a package to one of Gyomie’s disciples at his estate, and to pass a message on to him. Seeing as this would be your chance to befriend Gyomie, you immediately obliged. You wished the weather had been better, but that wasn’t going to hold you back. Slowly but surely you crossed the land, till you arrived at the doorstep of the hashira.

Before you could announce your arrival, the door slid open harshly. A younger boy with a wild mohawk, savage eyes, and scarred face stood silently.

“Hey!-oh. You are just that hashira. I’ll go get Gyomie.” The surprised boy said.

“Wait! Are you Genya? I have something for you!” Chirped cheerfully. The boy nodded and looked at you with confusion, reluctantly he took the package from your hands.

As if appearing out of thin air, Gyomie now stood behind Genya.

“Hello, (L/n)san, it’s a pleasure to see you. What might I be able to do for you?” He spoke with his incredibly deep voice.

“Hi Gyomie, it’s good to see you! Shinobu asked me to deliver a message to you!” You chimed.

“I see, please, come in.” He spoke before turning around to guide you deeper into the house.

“I love your hair by the way.” You whispered to Genya as you walked past him. He turned to you with a slight blush and watched you walk past. Later that evening he sat in the mirror and examined his hair, still blushing that you had complimented him.

Gyomie led you to a small room, a table in the middle with cushions on either side. He took to one end and gently sat down. He gestured for you to do the same.

“What did Shinobu have to tell me?” He asked. Quickly you pulled a small letter out of your pocket.

“Um, I have it here. Would you like me to read it to you?” You said peering up at the tall man.

“No that’s fine, I’ll have Genya read it to me later.” He said as he extended his hand. Once holding the document he ran his fingers over the ink of the paper.

“It’s far too cold to make the trip back this evening. Stay here for the night.” He said as he folded the paper and placed it in his shirt.

“Come with me. I’ll show you where you’ll be staying.” Gyomie spoke as he stood. You smiled and stood up to follow him. Cautious you walked behind him being sure that didn’t disturb any of the other disciples. He turned down a long hallway and continued forward. As you walked past you memorized knots in the wooden walls. Finally he stopped before a large door, he turned and said,

“This is the room you’ll stay in tonight, please make yourself at home.” As he said this he slid back the paper wall. You peered inside and saw the most wonderful sight.

Perched on top of a pillow was a small white cat.

“Oh my! What a pretty baby! How sweet are you darling!” You called, startling Gyomie with your outburst. He felt the breeze of your speed as you ran inside to greet the pet.

“Ohmygoodness! Gyomie! You didn’t tell me you had pets!” You called from inside, the obviously very spoiled cat resting in your arms basking in the extra attention. Gyomie stepped inside and faced you, happiness spread across his face.

“There you are Sunotaiga. I see you have made yourself comfortable in the guest room.” He said as he approached you both. His eyes soft and calm expression graced his face. You looked to face him, the cat thoroughly enjoying your company as you stroked its fur. A small smile could be seen on Gyomie’s face.

Sometime after your visit you began training with Gyomie. Often coming to see him after missions or whenever you had the chance. Your visits weren’t always training though, some days were spent at the orphanage, others in meditation, and some spent at his estate. Together you bonded over both of your love for animals and children, nobody had seen him this cheerful before now. His attitude had changed so greatly that the children nicknamed him the jolly giant.

One afternoon, the both of you sat watching the children play in the garden, it was a joyful sight.

A young boy approached the both of you followed by two other boys. When he stood in front of you he smiled and held up his arms so that you would pick him up. You laughed and held him up high and spun around causing the boys to laugh and cheer. Slowly you set him down and said,

“What else do you want to do! Do you want to spin again?” You asked gleefully. The boys laughed and ran around you both. One clung to Gyomie’s haori, while one wrapped his arms around your leg, the other climbed your shoulders.

“Hey (y/n)? Why does your head look like Gyomie’s? What happened?” The young boy questioned as he poked your forehead. You laughed heartily at the boy's brashness. You and three boys sat down in the grass together when you told the story of how you received your scar to them. They listened intently, absorbing every word you said. Gyomie listened as this was the first he had known about your scar. He found it interesting that the both of you shared a similar feature.

That evening you sat together on the end of the engawa, the night air as cool as the blue moon.

“(Y/n). You have a scar similar to mine?” He asked quietly. You turned to look at him, his body remained still as he faced out into the garden.

“Yes I do, it was the reason I first wanted to be friends with you. I felt that if I had someone who shared something like this with me, I wouldn’t feel alone.” You replied with a soft voice. The scar had caused you several insecurities, and it had become a thing of emotional pain.

“Do not be ashamed of your battles. Your character is something you should be far more proud of. It’s what brightens the world around you, you bring peace and happiness to everyone. Your physical appearance holds no weight to the appearance of your heart.”

Gyomie (romantic):

White puffy clouds that looked so soft that you imagined they felt like feathers, sailed across the sky. A sky so blue it rivaled the ocean and rivers. Against the glorious sky stood the towering trees, their leaves a deep green; dancing in the soft summer breeze.

You hummed softly as the cool wind kissed your skin. You knew you were so supposed to be meditating but on such a beautiful day how could you close your eyes? You absorbed every little bit.

“(Y/n).” Gyomie’s voice had broken you out of your trance. His voice has a deep, somber tone. You turned to look at him, he was still in the same position he had assumed when you both began meditating. Hands together, head bowed, eyes closed.

“What has you distracted ?” He asked; not moving an inch. His massive frame and intimidating appearance made him look like an immovable mountain.

“It’s just the scenery, it's all so beautiful, Gyomie.” You said.

“I wish you could see it.” You sighed deeply, your eyes gazing across the beautiful summer afternoon around you.

Gyomie stood from his seated position, he turned to look at you and then walked over to where you were sitting.

He sat down beside you, his body towering over yours.

“Describe it to me”. Was all he said, before leaning back to lay in the soft lush grass.

“Well I guess-“ You halfway started but Gyomie cut you off before you could continue.

“Lay with me.”

You smiled brightly as you hurriedly scooted next to him. You too leaned back; rest your head on his ginormous chest.

When he felt you tenderly lay your head against him, he felt his heart jump into his throat. How sweetly you propped yourself against him, looking to him for comfort.

Gyomie had felt differently towards you recently, he loved your boundless energy, always so enthusiastic and optimistic. What warmed his heart the most was hearing how excited you were when you saw him.

“Gyomie!! It’s so good to see you again!!” You’d always shout as you ran to him with your arms wide open. When you got to him you wrapped your arms around his waist and hugged him tightly. He’d always pat your back and smile warmly. A tear escaping his eye. But this feeling was different. Instead of just appreciating your joyfulness, he awaited your embraces in adoring anticipation. Rather than pat you on the back when you hugged him, he kneeled down to your height so you could hug him properly. Your arms around his neck made his heart almost burst. He’s sure you noticed the way he held you longer and tighter; burying his head into your neck. But it wasn’t just your voice that elated him, it was all of you. You smelled of fresh daffodils, such a sweet scent you had. The skin he had gotten the honor to touch was soft and delicate, as smooth as silk. It was all too much, never had he thought he would fall so intensely for someone.

“The sky. It’s such a beautiful blue, and the clouds are perfectly white. White, spotless boats in a calm sea of blue. Oh! And the trees, Gyomie, the trees are so magnificent. All the leaves are all shades of green. The trees stand so tall and proud, the leaves dance wildly in the breeze. Finally, the sun, although it’s getting lower in the sky, still illuminates everything in a yellow hue.” You described to Gyomie. You could feel his chest slowly rise and fall, the more you talked it seemed the more relaxed he became.

“You paint such a heavenly picture.” He finally said after you. You sat up, much to Gyomie’s displeasure, and looked at him. Tears were flowing so gently from his eyes as he relished in your words.

“Oh Gyomie I didn’t mean to upset you! Please, please, don’t cry!” You hurriedly said in hopes that you hadn’t upset him by wishing he could see. Quickly you wiped the tears from his eyes and held his head in your lap.

“I’m not upset with you, my dear grasshopper, your words were so beautiful it brought tears to my eyes. My only regret is that I can’t see you.” His kind words made you blush, he had always been gentle with you. The use of your nickname he had given you made you swoon. He mentioned once that your energy reminded him of a grasshopper, always jumping from one leaf to another. Before you could compose yourself, he spoke up once more.

“Please, let me experience the closest thing to sight.” You quietly obliged and Gyomie lifted his large hands to your face. Delicately his fingers roamed your face, memorizing every pore by his touch.

When his finger’s reached your hairline, he felt something familiar. A long crest stretched from your right eyebrow till it ended at the edge of your hair.

Instantly you pulled away, and lowered your head in shame. Gyomie noticed how you reacted. He sensed your self-consciousness, so he grabbed your hand and held it gently. You looked up to meet his pale eyes, tears bubbled on the edge of his eyelids. Quietly he pulled your hand up to his forehead, the tips of your fingers settled on his scar.

“The world you described is one I’ll never be able to see, but to me, you are the most beautiful creation I’ve found.”

The Guard during Halloween

Demetri

This boy is watching movies with you everyday of October

From scary to Disney any and all Halloween movies are the only things you will be watching

He loves to cuddle you throughout the movie

He prefers the really scary ones so he feels like he’s protecting you

He also just thinks it’s adorable if you get scared like a jump or even a scream he loves how connected you feel to the characters

The man is just big heart eyes and if you garb his arm or bury your head in his neck to not see any scary parts….he has a grin from ear to ear

It’s not that he doesn’t like the other parts of Halloween, this is just the safest

Also the cleanest, don’t act like this man doesn’t immediately want to clean himself off the second a smidge of dirt gets on him

Everything

Like this is this mans favorite holiday

He will do whatever you want, in fact he will give suggestions if you can’t think of anything

Haunted houses, scary movies, pumpkin carving, pumpkin patches, the costumes?????

Oh my god this man loves dressing up with you

If you don’t want to do a couples costume his feelings would legitimately be hurt

He will let you pick your costume first and then find one to match you anyway but let him catch you in any sexy outfit,

You end the holidays by pumpkin smashing and completely getting just messed up in pumpkin guts. Demetri avoids you at all costs during this time

Like she hates it.

It’s too trivial for her

But then she sees you surprise her dressed up in her cape and saying ‘pain.’

She thinks it’s adorable

She enjoys all the holiday baking you do

She can’t eat any of it but she will go with you to drop off the sweets to a local library, cafe, school. Whatever will take them

She will tag along with you just to see you smile at all the other costumes

She does enjoy not having to hide her eye color or anything else during the season though

Pumpkin patches and pumpkin carving

I’ve said this before but in my mind he likes creating anything with hands more than destroying

The first time you showed him what to do he made a relatively basic design

As the years went on his designs got more and more elaborate

You weren’t planning on it but he makes sure it’s tradition and you love it.

You take a lot longer than he does and it takes everything in him not to do it for you, he just wants to help so bad

You’ve absolutely thrown pumpkin guts at him

He was shocked the first time but now you both bring those plastic parkas and go crazy. He shows no mercy for this

Once you both are done he absolutely just praises your work even when if it’s not as impressive

He always takes tons of photos, you now have a whole Halloween album filled with pictures of you and him and all your creations

He smiles when he realized you saved all the pictures because he’s secretly so proud of himself when he makes a pretty pumpkin

Heidi

Heidi is similar to Felix i where she’s just happy she has someone who isn’t boring and wants to do things with her

She loves dressing up and encourages you to go to Halloween parties

What can she say she kinda likes seeing everyone stare at the two of you dancing

You two are hot 🤷‍♀️

She absolutely makes the rest of the guard jealous and Demetri desperately wants to tag along he loves a good party

You will maybe let him tag along once or twice but Heidi likes to spend time with just you

You two do each others special effects makeup

Because it scared everyone one year when you did the complete opposite and completely made yourself a hideous

Now you do that at least one time during October

Even if it’s not special effects you guys like to do each others makeup you’re both amazing at it anyway

After the parties she loves do some self care. Not that you two need it. Your skin is perfect anyway but it still feels nice

Into the Ring for the meme?

Ah Into the Ring is one of my favorite dramas of all time 🥺

My OTP

Obviously it has to be Seo Gong Myung and Goo Se Ra! They were such a chaotic, hilarious, adorable, and swoon worthy pairing just because of how healthy they were. I loved that their relationship was rock solid and stayed together the whole entire time. Also, Gong Myung is one of my favorite ML’s. He seems like a tsundere but in reality he’s just awkward, weird, introverted, and a huge dork. I loved that he always supported Se Ra in her work/personal life and never felt emasculated over the fact that his gf was a total force to be messed with. I loved their dynamic and the chemistry was off the charts. Their intimacy was so casual but also full of passion. I mean their kiss first kiss was out of this world.

My NOTP

Uh I don’t recall there being another couple so I guess I’ll go with Se Ra and her ex?

My fave thing about it

I really loved the fact that Se Ra’s and Gong Myung’s relationship was so healthy. I loved the cinematography (the camera effects were gorgeous??? the light flares?? the vibrant colors?? the unique camera angles) and lovable characters. Also, Into the Ring actually made me ENJOY a drama where politics is the focus. I avoid historicals because I hate court politics and i always skip the scheming scenes in modern ones but Se Ra and Gong Myung made me care/take interests in what they were talking about. I’m still going to avoid heavy politics, unless the leads are really likable

One thing I would change

Hmm this might sound stupid because this drama is ABOUT politics but…the one thing i would change is for there to be less of an emphasis on politics bdjwjd okay hear me out: at least there should have been less emphasis on Gong Myung’s father. That screen time could have been used for the side characters (Hee Soo/Han Bi/Woo Young) to shine more. Or more scenes of Se Ra obliterating the corrupt politicians she works with

My favorite character

Oh this is hard but I’m gonna have to go with Goo Se Ra! I loved her personality, style, sense of humor, and strength! My least favorite plot line in kdrama is the whole “corrupt politics” thing but Se Ra was such a wonderful character that I was glued to my seat just to see if she would accomplished her goals. Se Ra also had no clue how politics worked so it was nice to see her be just as confused by all of it. Also, Nana is gorgeous so that probably has a lot to do why I love Se Ra so much!

My least favorite character

Gong Myung’s dad and Se Ra’s ex-boyfriend?? I don’t remember either of their names but they were trash anyways so 🤷‍♀️

A character I thought I would love that I did not

I figured I would dislike the politicians right from the start and I loved Se Ra + Gong Myung and the rest of their friends so I’m going to leave this blank.

A character I did not think I would love but did

Hee Soo! I thought for sure she was going to be the typical “annoying evil second female lead”, but five times worst because of the politics involved BUT I ended up loving her! I loved the dynamic she had with Se Ra.

If I could read only one fanfic about it, it would be

Goo Se Ra + Gong Myung living in domestic bliss, but also occasionally getting into all kinds of trouble. I feel like Goo Se Ra will always make it her mission to drag corrupt/entitled rich folks. Gong Myung will obviously tag along because he’s whipped for Se Ra fjwkdjd Hee Soo, Han Bi, Woo Young, little Kim Ja Ryong should all make a special appearance! I can just imagine them chilling at the comic/book store going over plans and goofing off. Basically: if I could only read one fanfic about Into the Ring I just want to see my favorite characters do what they do best. But make it extra fluffy!
