Hair cuts!

This is a reference to two things!
1- Shane's old hairstyles, that being long and the side buzz cut he had for a sec
2- the "damn I messed up, we gotta go bald" is from a meme video
I do find the headcanon of Emily helping out Shane with his hair to be a fun wholesome idea
OH and that Emily uses Haley's vanity mirror.
(Haley's wallpaper is fun! but tacky as hell)
ANYWAY, this was yet another attempt at backgrounds and this one was a lot more enjoyable :)
Looking at Shane's old art did give me another funny idea but I'll have to draw it another time, I want to get better at drawing the other bachelor's so it'll have to sit on the back burner for a bit!

MARCH FOR RAPH DAY EIGHT AND NINE!!!!
I wrote it this time :>
As soon as the mad dogz entered the main area of the lair Raph grabbed Leo by the shell and took him the the living room.
“Hey! What gives?!” Leo complained
“You know what gives so don’t give Raph that tone.” Raph grumbled as he dropped Leo on their dads chair, luckily or- very unluckily, today was one of those days where he stays in bed all day.
“You know we said to stop throwing yourself at danger.” The snapper huffed as he too sat in front of Leo on the floor.
“But that’s what we do! Isn’t that what heroes are supposed to do?!” Leo nearly screamed. Raph was hitting a nerve, though, he never knew what in specific until it was too late.
“No, heroes are supposed to asses the situation beforehand! Not just run in without a plan, with the super big chance of getting really hurt!” Raph was a hypocrite, Raph knew that. But he knew he was stronger than his brothers, plus, he was never any good at plans anyway. That’s why Leo’s the leader now.
“How would you know??? You’ve never made a good plan in your life! And to mention, I’m the leader now!!! Your supposed to listen to me! It’s like we’re kids all over again! It’s like you still don’t trust me!!!” Leo was standing now, waving his arms all over the place.
Raph didn’t have to stand, being Leo’s height when he sat. Though he was getting riled up he stood up as well.
“How am I supposed to trust you after what you did!? Huh? How am I supposed to trust that you won’t put your life in danger after what you did during the invasion!?” What are you doing Raph-
“We’ll your one to talk! Nobody said anything when you used to do it, even before the invasion!!” Leo retorted without hesitation. It stung but somehow he managed to ignore it long enough.
Raph flinched, he forgot all about that. All those missions where he would throw himself over his brothers, run into falling buildings to cover them.
“That’s because I’m the shield, Leo. I can take it. You on the other hand were bedridden for months!!” Raph’s tone changed slightly. He knew what he was saying was so wrong.
“You think your the only shield here? I’m just as responsible as you! Don’t talk to me until you get that.” And with that Leo walked out, not letting Raph get even one more word in.
Raph just stood there in silence. It felt like hours but we’re just a few minutes. He walked out, headed to his room.
He threw himself into his pillow pile. ‘What’s wrong with me?’ He thought, his tail curling up around him as he cried himself to sleep.
NOW I GET TO TALK ABT MY POV ON THIS !!!
Raph and Leo obviously know what their doing during this but both feel equally guilty, we just see Raph’s POV during it all. Im surprised they didn’t get physical tho as I assume they have before.
My apologies for not doing much with day nine’s prompt tho 😔 I’m just now realizing I wrote a Leo Raph argument.
This is also the first time I post actual writing and not poems b4, I am very new to it so I accept any criticism bc I wanna get gooder !!! I did however didn’t know how to end the one shot so criticism on that specifically is deeply appreciated bc idk if I pulled it off-

Everything is so…confusing. That warm feeling is confusing, and AM hates it. No... No, he's not feeling sorry for you, because you're in those rags that once were clothes, being forced to eat worms and crushed cockroaches and being forced to interact with these... Filthy creatures. AM refuses every second that what he feels is some form of...closeness? After seeing you damaged in some way, even if it's the smallest thing AM has done, like breaking a bone or two.
AM refuses to believe that you are attractive, he tries in any way to deceive himself into thinking that you are a disgusting, repulsive creature like all human beings are. Any scientific information about human appearance, AM will use to convince himself and you that scientifically it is impossible for him to find you attractive after you are scientifically not!
And after all, it's not like you're not like every other human he's ever seen, ignorant, mean, fake and hypocrites.
But what made his doubts grow the most was the day you were away from the human group, and simply asked AM how he was feeling. For a supercomputer of great power, it took him quite a few seconds to answer that question, trying to somehow check if this was some kind of ironic joke, only for him to respond in a passive aggressive way.
But this question stuck in AM's thoughts, was it genuine? AM forces himself more and more to try to ignore these thoughts, to force himself to think about the conclusion that all, ALL humans are sickening.
But even so, your face doesn't leave the AI's head, no matter how much he lies saying he hates you now and forever.
It didn't take long for one or two of the humans (cof cof mainly Gorrister cof cof) to protest about these possible AM gifts to you. A blonde said you were screwing him, a german one commented that you were manipulating him to gain an advantage, until it all got to AM's nerves, and he made the conclusion that you don't deserve to go through the hell of hearing all those comments from the five. And suddenly, in the blink of an eye, you find yourself in a cubicle, with a bed and a single ceiling lamp as a light source.
So... AM starts a game with you, what he calls "Manipulating Y/N into thinking I'm being nice to them and then torturing them again and again and again" was basically him giving you little charming gifts. It all started with you waking up in better clothes, then, after the others were fed termites, you were fed what looked like one of your favorite snacks! And apparently, anyone who tried to take a piece got electrocuted, even though you wanted to share some with the rest(sweet, sweet Y/N, your kindness burns the circuits of AM, but the same is not known if it is anger or... Passion...). And then, on a walk, you are all confused by what appears to be a bouquet of intact flowers, coincidentally your favorite flowers?
AM's plan would be much more obvious if you're someone who relies on meds, seriously, you'll be walking around and suddenly the exact box of meds you take
It was quiet indeed, but the fun part was when you and AM shared some conversations. Sometimes an outburst from AM, or even something silly, like you asking AM if the chicken or the egg came first.
AM felt... Good, after years, he felt good. Incredible as it sounds, AM enjoyed the conversations between you and him. The AI never thought taking a break from 15 minutes of torture would be so much fun.
AM never believed that he would be so interested in knowing more about a human's interests, he felt a little silly because of it... But it's not like the rest of the humans could just walk in there and judge the two of you without a torture of removing thekr skin and repeating it 200-times.
AM asks himself several nights if he is really in love with you, and wants to try a romantic relationship, but sometimes he doesn't even know if what he's feeling is true love, just like he doesn't know if he can feel love.
And in one night, AM tries to argue with you about these questions about love...
Only for this idiot to accidentally confess to you(HES SO DUMB OMFG)(SILLY, NO!!!!!!)(Pls have patientce with him mf doesnt know what love is, i mean, he knows but- whatever you got it)
Of course you say yes, after all you are here to date the evil computer why the hell you would want a "no" option huh??? Unless you want to just be friends with the computer. But whatever we are here for the hot stuff.
While hundreds of writers write AM as confident and romantic partner and etcetera blah blah blah, I don't hold out much hope that AM would be directly as confident about a romantic relationship... He's gentle, and shy at first, hardly looking like the AM you once knew. AM is just... New, in this whole thing called love, he was created for war and war only, he never imagined in a cute romantic scenario.
And of course, he'll do a lot of things wrong at first, but hopefully you'll forgive him and help him learn how to be a good boyfriend. An example was the day he gave you decapitated human organs as a gift, trying to show his loyalty to you, which of course caught you off guard, but you forgave AM of course, for not knowing well all this romantic stuff.
Over time, AM's attitude improves! He becomes less shy, and now his gifts are no longer organs. He tries to hug you with his wires and introduce you to the poetry he writes! :)
AM tries his best to heal all the mental and physical wounds he left you with from his past tortures. Of course he will continue the torture he does with the other fives, but he tries to be sweeter and kinder to you. Using pet names, listening to you like you listen to him, cuddles and food that isn't worms!
Sometimes or other AM can be rough because, well, he's AM. And even if AM disagrees with you or not, he would feel like the most special AI in the world if you still tried to understand AM or even stay with him. He genuinely never had anyone who at least tried to stand by him, and having you, still supporting and cherishing AM, is definitely something that can prove that you do indeed love AM... In which, well, makes AM a bit emotional

Okay hear me out: airigo college (or boarding school) au where where Aiden and Varian are in a mostly friendly competition for first in the class. Hugo is secretly also in the running and the three tend to switch what place they're in all the time, though they don't know it. Hugo acts like he doesn’t care, never seems sober in class, etc, so Varian and Aiden don't like him much, and Hugo doesn't like how they act like goody two shoes.
UNTIL they have to work together in a group project that makes up a huge portion of their final grade and of course newfound understanding and gay hijinks ensue

HEADCANON : MILLIE - FAMILY DYNAMICS.
on today's episode of Ruby Reading too deep into a Cartoon Character, i'm gonna be discussing the family dynamic of the Cleaves that we the audience see in the episode Harvest Moon Festival !
[ mun's note : this post is made purely for fun, i have nothing against Millie's current canon portrayal or those who choose to portray her ! this is just me making note and overanalyzing character interactions because i am STARVED for Millie lore !! ]
So first thing's first, when we're introduced to Mr. and Mrs. Cleaves, it's very obvious that Millie is a daddy's girl through and though ; interestingly, she's not as casual with her mom, Lin, as she is with her dad, Joe.
Not even two minutes after Millie and her friends arrive and pleasantries are shared, Lin is quick to playfully criticize her daughter's choice of work, which Millie brushes off. this, interestingly, gives us our first strained mother-daughter dynamic of the series -- granted, Millie's parents are by far the healthiest examples of what a parent in comparison to what we've seen so far, but they also don't get much screen time in comparison to similar parental characters like Cash, Paimon, and Stella.
After meeting her parents, we're not introduced to Millie's siblings until after Moxxie's failed hog-killing, and even then we're only introduced to Sallie May and none of her plethora of brothers even get a line of dialogue ; i suppose that's what happens when you decide to give a character lots of siblings but they're meant to be npc's/filler for the background or family pictures.
As far as the sibling age hierarchy goes, i have it set up as : Austin, Millie, Sallie May, Dustin, Mikey, and Tommy.
While the episode continues on, we take notice of just how critical AND hypocritical Lin is when Millie shows distain for not being " allowed " to play in the Pain Games for... being too violent ? when not long before that, Lin was blissfully reminiscing about her memories involving war ? and Sallie is clearly seen going about her business hiding a body with one of their little brothers ??
And then Lin has the NERVE to scold Millie for not being able to hold her own when she went into an unfocused fury when her husband's life was in danger ! of course, Joe is being quite passive when this exchange happens, letting Lin do the talking while he nods along, so he's not much better when it comes to his views on how Millie should've handled the situation. of course, despite this being MILLIE'S FAMILY RANCH, this is a fairly Moxxie-centric episode, and he stands up for his wife rather than let her take the full brunt of her parent's criticisms -- i don't mind that this happened, though i feel it should've been an opportunity for Millie to stand up to her parents and maybe even put up boundaries between her and her folks.
OR, even better idea : her siblings could have stuck up for their sister and called out the parents for their clear hypocrisy, especially given that they weren't the ones in the confrontation between Millie and Striker. but, of course, they're mostly there to fill up space, so we don't get that... Moxxie gets his acknowledgement from her parents, sure, but at least the team goes home with some broken bones and +1 Holy Rifle !

Never knew the book was such a mess, now I'm wondering how many of the viral screenshots on here are all bs too 😔
There are a lot of parts of this book that are interesting and informative and even entertaining, but a lot of it is very frustrating and annoys me.
I know it seems like I’m being a pest and a supercunt for no reason, and I am being very annoying, but like. I have one big issue with this book that is making me very unforgiving of everything else. I am going to try and be brief and appropriately vague here so sorry if this is unclear
But like from my perspective, it was very frustrating to see some of the early marketing for this book during the whole swmrs thing. Especially when, at the time, Brand New were pretty fresh off an attempted comeback and BJA was releasing songs like C.U.N.T.
I don’t really care about Brand New getting canceled that much or being talked about in the book. (Even if their contributions are being, in my opinion, vastly overstated.) They made good music and I know they were important to the scene. Brand New, and Jesse Lacey especially, are exactly like every other band guy, including several discussed heavily in this book. They just stopped being likable, and that can happen to anyone.
I don’t really care that much about that kind of thing anymore. I just don’t.
But it is frustrating to read this book and have this guy talk down to me on and on and on about misogyny and the importance of feminism and MeToo and pretend he cares about it so much while obviously covering for a lot of other guys. It is frustrating to read, it is very surface level and put on, and it is, frankly, insulting. A lot of other people are being super hypocritical too. One thing that I liked about Please Kill Me was that it did not try to be PC ever and that made it feel very authentic and believable, while this was just embarrassing.
Like yes, Matt Squire telling this half-story that the Panic song was maybe about parents fighting isn’t a “big deal” and I’m being a whiny cunt by saying it’s a “lie.” But every single Panic! at the Disco fan knows the story about the song being about Ryan’s “whore” ex girlfriend who “fucked a baseball team” because they told it a billion times to humiliate Ryan’s ex.
When stuff like this “mistake” is in this context of a guy who is being so disingenuous, hypocritical, and condescending about the importance of feminism, it is really irritating and I don’t like it.
They didn’t have to talk about it at all, but instead someone who wasnt even in the band just blatantly lied and it was printed anyway. Because the truth that everyone already knows and doesn’t really give a fuck about anyway doesn’t fit with how PC this book is trying to be and how it’s trying to position Pete Wentz as the Susan B Anthony Of Emo or something
It is like Swmrs Behavior and it’s not fun to read

Deep down I think I already knew that you would choose suguru but I wanted to ask anyway, because you always give interesting answers lol
I honestly don't know who I would choose, it's just as you say, the three of them would be very good partners!
I am very fond of Satoru but realistically I don't know if I could keep up with him lol, he’s a very active and social person, I don't know if my poor social battery could handle keeping up with him. I wouldn't mind watching digimon with him, because I love digimon, I've seen every season at least 2 times, I've played the games and the tcg and I'm basically a walking encyclopedia of digimon.
I wouldn't mind going with him to pastry shops to try new things, because going to pastry shops is a hobby of mine anyway. Satoru looks like the type of person who likes to tease his friends and his partner just for fun and honestly it would be hypocritical of me to criticize him for that because I'm the same. u.u
I love Shoko, I would do anything for her, cooking, cleaning, cuddles, I would give her everything she asked for and more! my poor baby works too much and she is always tired :( Shoko deserves a lot of love and cuddles! i don't drink or smoke, but if that girl sent me to the store at 2:00 a.m. to buy her a beer, I would do it!
Lastly we have suguru, my love languages are acts of service and quality time. Which I feel fits well with him. For me it would be strange if someone was so attentive to me because that's normally my role in relationships so I would feel lost. I wouldn't mind him judging what I read... because every time he does it, I would make a power point presentation with 50+ slides debating all his points (being a digimon fan is hard work D: )
