this week has been a weird shithell but wow if I didn’t just crack a song that I made a year ago or more in a deep depression hole that will makes no sense to anyone but me but damn is it compelling last night.

#I was itching to put something out soon and the thing I thought it would be in nov isn’t it rn #a the thing I scrapped from the album & I ultimately decided I prob wouldn’t put out #ever(?) because ehh but who knows is now it.#the most punk shit I’ve made yet #but and spoiler it has no drums (or bass) (or synth for that matter & those are like my things lol)#but yeah I didn’t do much(?) to it I didn’t add any vocals and the ‘melody’ lmao ok lol recording I didn’t touch #just hacked at it all and now it’s about ready. gonna tweak a lil for my brain tn & throw it up hopefully next week? happy birthday to neil young here are some of my favorite things about him

-by the age of 20 he had owned 3 different used hearses, all of which experienced some form of extreme mechanical failure that caused him to have to get rid of them

-in buffalo springfield whenever he had to go out on a date with a girl he'd tell his friends about it beforehand so that they could interrupt the date to tell him he needed to be somewhere and was late so that he could be allowed to leave

-hated going in grocery stores because he would get overstimulated and have to leave

-didn't like how the first pressing of Comes A Time sounded so he bought 200,000 of the first copies of it and used them as shingles for a barn roof

-when one of his tour buses was destroyed (i forget how) he had it brought to his ranch and buried on the property like a beloved family pet

-his early ambition before music was to be a chicken farmer

-when he and carrie snodgress where dating she'd have a ton of people over sometimes and it gave him anxiety so one evening he decided to open the living room window and crawl out of it to get away from people instead of walking through the room to get to the door because apparently he couldn't wait that long and everyone saw it

-another time he randomly showed up at a neighbors' house and they didn't really know why he dropped in all of the sudden because he wasn't very social and it turns out it was because his manager had set up a meeting for him with the band America and he didn't want to do it so he was hiding

-during buffalo springfield he would hide in peoples closets a lot

-once he was guitar shopping with stephen stills and when he was offering on a guitar stephen offered more money on it to try and get it and it pissed him off so he started bidding higher to kick off a bidding war between then and once it was up to a ridiculous amount of money he just dropped it and was like ok you win lol ! and stephen had to pay an insane amount of money for it

-during one filmed interview with MTV or something he decided to fuck with them by adjusting the position of his hat super slightly every couple seconds so that when they cut the footage together and shifted things out of order it would look confusingly different every time

-during the recording of deja vu he lived by himself in a motel but he brought his 2 pet bush babies (named Harriet and Speedy) and they scared the shit out of Graham Nash

-gave a stranger he met like a week ago unrestricted access to his finances because the guy claimed he was going to help him buy a boat and the guy ended up stealing a couple thousand dollars

-during last buffalo springfield concert he was the only person who was not even remotely sad and on the way home jim messina was literally crying and neil was just like :] the whole way

-one year on his birthday at the ranch there was going to be a party and it was a tradition to have a bonfire at it so he went out into the woods to get sticks for it but somehow managed to grab a bunch of poison oak and it was used at the fire and after that he was not allowed to gather bonfire sticks anymore

-while filming the lincvolt documentary he met a trans woman and when he was interviewing her to ask for her opinion about the car she told him that what he was doing with it was a big change and he should probably ask for the car's permission to do it and he actually did do this later

-"everybodys rockin" originated as an r/maliciouscompliance type of project because while he was on geffen records Old Ways was rejected and the label asked for a "rock and roll album" and this was his response to that

-the infamous Eat A Peach incident

-there is much more but this is all i can come up with rn

y’all, imma start writing for Call of Duty now 💃🏾🕺🏾 i’m currently playing both call of duty modern warfare and MW2 so if i get anything wrong i’m sorry i haven’t finished either 😔💔 i’m sorry i’ve barely been active! life is very fucked rn, but onto big boi könig headcannons

there are times he will come home from a mission or something very sore because he gets thrown around/hit a lot, he will go to you for a massage or a warm bath (you both had a large ass tub installed in one of your bathrooms because of how big he is and he can’t fit in a regular sized tub)

if he decides to go outside without you he will have to have something of yours in his pocket like your bracelet or one of your pins just so he’s comfortable. he once had a panic attack in target and you had to drive up there to finish shopping with him at another target because almost all of the shoppers stared and watched instead of help him

he’s the type to kinda just eat the pickles after he said no pickles on his order because he’s afraid of making the workers mad. you always have to go tell the workers yourself and he kinda pleads with you for 5 minutes not to and that he can eat the pickles or take them off.

when he asked you out the first time he was a blushing, shaking mess. you two have been friends since you were kids so you knew how he was and how he didn’t like confrontation at all so you just waited patiently and even told him a few times he can text it to you or something if he couldn’t speak. he eventually got the words out and he was fully expecting you to say no and leave but five years later, you’re still together!

he knows his own strength and being 6’10 and over 230 he’s pretty strong — he once hurt you by accident while playing and he refused to touch you for two weeks, he even hid in the closet for hours after it happened because he was afraid you were mad at him. you explained you weren’t mad at him and that it was just an accident

he speaks to you in german while in public, he only does this when he’s anxious, doesn’t wanna talk to anyone or he just does it for fun

has a bunch of pictures of you in his hidden album so he can look at them while he’s away.

you went to the hospital for about two months for a health issue that needed to be fixed and i swear König was having withdrawals at home without you. he obviously visited you all day but on non visiting days/hours he had withdrawals at home, he hated sleeping in the bed alone and he hated not hearing you somewhere in the house doing something. the house was very silent that two months. when you came back he didn’t leave your side

he likes to mess with you a lot if you’re a lot shorter than him. if you ask him for something he’ll kinds just hold it up in the air out of your reach, but then feels bad after 30 seconds and he stops

he takes Christmas abnormally serious, he decorates the whole house, makes christmas themed things/foods and even gets you both matching ugly sweaters! he got one that said “his elf” “her/his elf” and you both wore it on any gatherings he was willing to go to.

he has lured a cat into the house with cheese three times and now you have three cats — congratulations. he almost did that with a deer but you caught him mid lure and you still him from adopting a deer

has kept the same card you gave him when you were kids, he puts it in his pocket while on any missions so he has something other than pictures to remind him of you and remind him the reason why he’s coming home every time

he secretly likes being little spoon (don’t tell him i told u that)

you’re the only person who has seen his face — not even his closet friends in the military have seen more than his hair and face

he let you wear his gear once and he has millions of pictures of you in his gear because of how big they are on you

he has never wanted to get married before dating you, but now that’s all he can think about, only with you tho! marry him >:(

Without you he would just be happy he discovered something new, take one or two shells, spend some time in there and then go back up. But with you, he actually has someone to talk to and discover new things together, not only discover the ocean but also discover friendship or in this case also, love.

haiiii🦭! Ive been itching for something a bit sad and real caz im a depressive mf.. just jongseob stressing over his writing process for the now killin it verse ("my root came 2005") basically having a full breakdown because its a full length album and im pretty sure they did all the preparations while on tour (idk if my brain made that up but i swr i saw it somewhere). He was stressed and called you on face time hyperventilating leading to you flying out there just to be with him.. sighhh

jongseob, who was so beyond stressed from the tour, had too much on his plate. he was also constantly reminded of the fact that he still hadn’t finished his verse for the next comeback..

as the responsibilities came piling in more, he was exhausted.. he felt defeated. all he wanted to do was take a break.. a break in your embrace. “Hello? ..You okay?” you answered, smiling as you saw his contact name calling you.

all he did was sigh, flopping down on the bed after his shower. “Hmm..” he groaned, his face stuck in the pillow. You couldn’t see his tired state at all, but you were sure he was cute nonetheless..

“Well.. I guess that answers my question..” you chuckled and hummed. “Tired, huh?” He nodded.. even though you couldn’t see. “..hm.. I miss your voice..” jongseob mumbled, groaning a bit.

you smiled and giggled. “really? I missed you too.. face time?” jongseob chuckled at your offer and immediately sat up, turning on his camera. he giggled even more when he saw your face. “Mm.. seems I missed your face too..”

rolling your eyes, you pursed your lips and smiled. but you started to sigh when you saw his dark circles, and tired expression. “How is it.. is touring around the world fun?” You asked gently, but with a bit more playful tone in the end to not let everything get too depressing for him.

seob sighed and turned in the bed. “Fun.. ok. Seeing the fans.. performing, it’s all fun. But..” there it was..

“I’m just feeling so.. out of it. Every time we’re at practise.. or stage rehearsal or anything, everyone always reminds me that I need to be performing at me absolute best. And I’m.. trying! I’m trying really hard.. but I also have to keep on writing lyrics for the next comeback..”

burnt out bf! jongseob who vented to you the whole night, not even noticing you went on mute occasionally for the whole 3 hours. who ignored the background noise from your side and assumed it was just the wind in your apartment. who finally noticed your empty presence in the call. “Babe? Hello?”

ding dong!

bf! jongseob who furrowed his eyebrows in confusion, but immediately chuckled in disbelief when he saw you at the door with a big bag of his favourite snacks. “Oh my gosh..”

you smiled and tilted your head to actually look at him, your vision being sort of hindered from the big bag you were carrying. he noticed your panting breath and sweat dripping from your forehead, even from the cold night outside. “Did you walk here?”

“No, are you crazy?” you said as you let yourself in, dropping the bags down with a sigh, your hand going to your hip as you breathed heavily and had that stupid grin on your face when you looked back at him. “I drove.. until I had to stop at the convenience store and forgot where I parked.. I ran the rest of the way here.” You said, wiping the sweat from your forehead. and he shook his head and chuckled, ruffling your hair.

flopping on the bed, he sat next to you and smiled. “You’re adorable..” he spoke, his fingers finding your own. “I know.. and a good driver, it takes like 4 hours to drive here and I got it in 3. Without a ticket!” you said with a tired laugh.

he flopped on the bed next to you, taking a chip packet and snacking on it as he looked at you from the side. seob put an arm behind your head as a pillow. “Congratulations.. and thank you.”

you smiled and leaned closer to him. “No problem.”
