Arabella Huntington Mansion - 2 East 57th Street, NY
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
The house is called "Collis P. Huntington Mansion", but anyone who knows the history knows that this house only existed because of Arabella. I don't want to dwell too much on her story, but for those who watch "The Gilde Age", the character Sylvia Chamberlein was inspired by Arabella.
The mansion was designed by George B. Post, and began construction in 1889 and would take 5 years to complete. The Italian-style house was built with rough stone blocks, with Renaissance-inspired openings on the second and third floors. The mansion was demolished in 1926.
Despite her modest origins, Arabella was educated and polished. She spoke fluent French and had a sophisticated eye for art, history, books, and a refined understanding of the decorative arts. During her life, she accumulated a huge amount of works of art, rare books and antique furniture. In short, she had everything a wealthy nineteenth-century woman could want, except social acceptance, for she was never on Mrs. Astor's list of the “Four Hundred.”
For this version of the mansion in The Sims 4, I only found the floor plan of the basement, so I tried to build based on the description left by people who knew the house. The plan was a little strange, but according to what I read, the distribution of the rooms was really confusing. In the part of the house where there was a heated pool, I preferred to create a ballroom. In my imagination, I thought it was more dramatic to have a ballroom that was never used. Hope you like it! :)
Note: until a few months ago, I thought this house was very ugly, but as you can see, I changed my opinion! Haha. Of course, I still don't think the house is beautiful, but now I find it very interesting.

Abundance of the Days of the Week: Apollo, Luna, Venus, Saturn, Mercury, Mars, and Jupiter 1893
Elihu Vedder (1836–1923)
This gold-hued ceiling panel by Elihu Vedder originally adorned the dining room of Collis and Arabella Huntington’s Fifth Avenue mansion. The scene represents abundance all the days of the week. The central male figure, Apollo (Sunday), is surrounded by women representing the four seasons. To Apollo’s left, the large-scale female figure is Luna (Monday) and to his right is Venus (Friday), rising from her shell. The four corners feature the elderly Saturn (Saturday) at the upper left, then (clockwise) Mercury (Wednesday), Mars (Tuesday), and Jupiter (Thursday). These planetary figures each include their astrological symbols. In between the seven major figures, small genii hold cornucopias overflowing with plenty.

Subject: Irene Mend/Granny Mend Art: Lizard @whatlizardry Writing: Dev @littlebreadroll
[ID: A page titled ‘Irene Mend’ and ‘Granny Mend.’ An illustration of a wide, void-black eye is labeled ‘Ethereal Eye.’  In the upper-right corner of the page is a sketch of an old woman with light cast over half her face and the rest of her in shadow. The eye in the light is closed, and the one in shadow is open and staring at the viewer.  The eye is alarmingly sharp against the softness of the drawing.  She wears a simple, old-fashioned black dress with a white collar, and has her hair pulled back and severely parted. In the lower-left corner of the page is a ghostly illustration of an old woman from the waist up, eerily shaded against a halo of shadow that deepens towards the bottom of the drawing.  She wears a shawl and an old-fashioned bonnet that shadows her face, leaving only the lower half of her face and the handle of a knife clearly visible.  She holds an embroidery hoop she is stitching on, and her hands are stuck with dozens of needles.  In red ink, the note “Can be summoned by saying her name three (double underlined) times in a mirror” is added, and in different handwriting, “scary but nice?”
The second page is written in blocky, all-caps handwriting on paper with scraps of thread and cloth fibers stuck to it. It is titled ‘Irene Mend (See: Granny Mend)’ and is followed by the below text:
Dangerous? No
Sentient? Full sentience--can be reasoned with
Encounter location: Mend Mansion
Description: An older woman with only one eye; seems to be getting on in years. She’s aged well, but moves slowly.  Arthritis? Just age?  Unsure.  She wears a leather apron when she works, and light clothes or evening wear otherwise.  Always carrying a silver bell and silver scissors.  Enjoys a good dinner, and treats the Mendies well.  Gave them funny names and has them help with housework (see: Mendies, connections).  They seem to be happy, or not mind serving her.  Seems a lovely woman aside from the revenant hobby.  House was empty last time I came through, moved out or moved on? (crossed out)  Killed by the Instrumentalist, after which he stole her bell and the Mendies.  (A note in red adds, “Pins says she was good.”)
Abilities: Creates revenants through unknown magic runes? Never did figure it out.  Only used bodies, never killed to make her Mendies.  Keeps them clean and preserved, filled with cotton and sawdust, and tied to a silver bell.  (A note in red adds, “The bell’s been hidden and buried.”)
Connections: The Mendies, Townshend Rhodes, Huntington Waites, Cookery Potts, Leyland Blooms, Floris Scrubbs, Stitchery Pins)
The third page is titled ‘Granny Mend,’ and continues:
Dangerous? Unknown
Sentient? Partial sentience--rudimentary communication
Irene Mend was a living human, Granny Mend seems limited in sentience or language
Non-sentient--entirely instinctual
Encounter location: Haven’t seen her myself, but she’s supposed to appear in mirrors? Say Granny Mend three times.
Description:  An old woman that sits in a rocking chair in the corner of your room and wears a bonnet pulled low over her face while she works on embroidery.  When she hums her lullaby and tucks you into bed, you cannot move even if you want to, and are dragged into sleep.  Supposed to be that her hands are pierced with needles, though not sure I believe she exists at all.  (A note in red adds, “Diggory saw her, says she has a dinner knife through her eye socket under the bonnet. Diggory says she didn’t answer their questions or stop singing except to tell them they were special and kiss their forehead.”)
Abilities: puts people to sleep with her lullaby when they suffer from insomnia.
Connections: Diggory Graves   /end ID]

On Tuesday morning, Johnny suggested they invite the only other young adult couple in the area that they knew: J Huntington III and Paolo Rocca.
“Ronin is actually getting really into programming,” Johnny said to break the ice. “Did I tell you J is a programmer? Maybe you’ll end up co-workers soon!”
“That’s great,” Ronin replied awkwardly.
“So Ronin, you’re a played sim? What’s that been like for you?” Paolo asked.
“It’s fine. I’ve been adjusting well.” Again Ronin kept his answer brief. He preferred to watch the trio chat instead, feeling a lot less pressure that way.
“You’re being modest. We’ve been doing really well!” Johnny chimed in. “Look what we’ve managed to build in just over a sim week!”
"Maybe one day you’ll be able to buy the Affluista Mansion all on your own,” J pointed out with a smirk. “That’ll show ‘em to woohoo with you.”
“What’s that?” Ronin asked.
“Where I grew up,” Johnny replied with a grimace. “Otherwise known as the Landgraab Estate.”

ok before i get to writing replies, i have to address the whole "wesker but supreme unhinge brain moments" thing that i sorta touched on earlier today?
so, we know that the t-virus really screws things up. basically zombifies them when the host isn't compatible, which is uhhh a lot (except 10% of people have natural immunity and no one knows why, i guess. is this 10% of the WORLD or of people in the USA or... ???? 10% of the world is actually a pretty big number?? anyway) and this can be seen especially in the ... whatsit, beastmaster's notes- the one that describes what the infection process was like, starting with coherent things and ending with tasty. itchy (horrifying! thanks i read it once and will not again for a while!) we also know the virus wesker was given is a modified strain of the t-virus. we later learn that while it resurrected wesker from death by the tyrant, it DIDN'T fully work, because he is relying on the PG67A/W- on top of that, wesker likely had natural immunity in general (i've addressed his immune system in another post)
he needs the PG67A/W to maintain the superhuman abilities he gained from the progenitor strain, but clearly, other shit must've been going on, too.
we know wesker hasn't aged a day since he infected himself. in the concept art for re1 it also says "wesker is surprisingly the same age as barry, 38" which implies wesker looks younger in general, which may be a side effect of whatever else was being put in his body thanks to the project w (fuck that shit, fuck spencer and also fuck the original wesker dude who was leading that project, i wish u a very fucking perish forever). so on the outside, he seems fine.
on the inside, not so much.
while never as drastic as the researchers who were infected and died at the mansion, wesker's brain suffers a similar decay- and then before he really loses all higher thought process, the virus revives the dead tissue. after infection with uroboros, the condition of his brain decay and revival was less severe, but still there. this is where he becomes erratic and rather immature- because parts of his brain are hecking dying. before uroboros, the symptoms would also affect his motor skills- the best comparison i have is unfortunately huntington's disease (i've worked with a patient with huntington's before and i am still devastated and saddened by what i saw), and the difference is wesker bounces back.
he's well aware of this, too, and it's terrifying for him. the episodes of these symptoms from the virus are short, but for the few days that they're there, it's awful (luckily[?] the longest period was four days, and the episodes are spaced out across many months, so it's like once every 4 months this shit goes down). they're his most volatile days and he also always feels like he wants to crawl out of his skin. he knows what's causing this. he did this to himself. post5, he also suddenly has vivid clarity and understanding of what it was like for everyone who was infected and died at the mansion and that sorta haunts him.
on a related note, wesker's strain of t-virus is only contagious via blood. and even then, since it seems to have been modified for him, any person infected would essentially have a rather unpleasant case of something resembling shingles- which will go away! you know, like shingles. although, neuropathy would be a common long term symptom, but otherwise it sucks but not as much as it COULD suck... he can only infect another person with uroboros if he actually attacks them WITH uroboros and most of that virus' power is spent regenerating his body from uhh being in a volcano lmao so i guess people are in the clear there? thanks for coming to my tedtalk

Detective Comics (vol. 1) #401: Target for Tonight!/Midnight Is the Dying Hour!
Read Date: January 31, 2023 Cover Date: July 1970 ● Writer: Frank Robbins / Dennis O'Neil ● Penciler: Bob Brown / Gil Kane ● Inker: Joe Giella / Vince Colletta ● Colorist: {uncredited} ● Letterer: Ben Oda / John Costanza ● Editor: Julius Schwartz ●
Tumblr media
**HERE BE SPOILERS: Skip ahead to the fan art/podcast to avoid spoilers
Reactions As I Read: (first story) ● Batman the target of a hunter. He’s in his penthouse as Bruce Wayne watching t.v. with Alfred when a hunter with a trained falcon is on the program. Just then, an arrow zips past them and shatters the television. Implying that the hunter knows Bruce Wayne is at least connected to Batman? ● Carleton Yager is the hunter’s name. (And since he knows Batman’s identity, I assume something will happen to cause Yager’s death. A non-major character knowing someone’s identity is practically a spoiler that they’re going to die soon.) ● I’m not sure why Batman is crouched atop a piling but… hey, at least it looks cool:
Tumblr media
● Yager has Batman in a net. He’s outsmarted Batman every step of the way so far. ● Batman has admitted a couple of times tonight that he’s only going after Yager because of his pride. ● NOW Yager is on my bad side. He has Alfred tied up with a target on him. Leave my Alfred alone! ● Batman kicks Alfred out of the way:
Tumblr media
● oooOOoooh… you’d think I’d be used to people in comics using latex masks by now. “Alfred” was actually Yager. I thought Batman was kicking him out of harm’s way before an arrow could hit, but nope, he was actually kicking the snot out of him. ● Yager falls to his death. ● The story is only worth one clap, but the art brings it up to two: ● 👏👏
(second story) ● Okay, so back to Batgirl being bricked up behind the wall. ● Earlier, Robin investigated Willard’s death even before police arrived. No sign of a struggle, and Willard is pointing to a book of poetry, which Robin finds odd because Willard has voiced his distaste of literature. ● Robin walks around campus, pondering the mystery. Some of the info he knows due to being a student here: “Willard and his pals fought with Professor Huntington about whether or not to sell the university’s woodland property. Huntington claims it’s valuable for research… Willard claimed the school needs the money. The jocks and some of the drama majors sided with Willard… while Hank, myself and a few of the hippie types stood for the prof…” ● Robin then remembers a Poe play and puts the pieces together. He finds one of the theater guys with the trowel. The guy escapes by throwing a wad of wet cement in Robin’s eyes. ● Hearing something moving behind the freshly built wall, Robin begins to dismantle it and finds Batgirl. ● A sandbag drops from above, and Robin has to save Batgirl again by knocking her out of the way. ● Batgirl says that what she thought had been the smell of ether had been the smell of spirit gum, which some actors use when wearing false facial hair… so someone was disguised as Hank Osher. ● And the book of poetry the dead man was pointing to, he was specifically pointing to POEtry… which Robin put together as an actor in the upcoming Poe play (a bit of a stretch, but ok) ● Batgirl and Robin capture Jack Markham and turn him over to the cops. ● 👏👏
Synopsis: A big-game hunter who dubs himself "the Stalker" deduces Batman's secret identity and announces his intention to hunt down and kill the Caped Crusader. Batman decides to live up to his reputation as a manhunter and he starts looking for the criminal in order to stop his plan. Batman goes to the Stalker's mansion, where he almost falls for a deadly trap and learns that the hunter has prepared their final encounter in an island near Gotham City.
Batman goes to the location and tries to confront the hunter unseen, but the hunter has prepared a few traps for Batman. The Dark Knight manages to break free and starts looking for his enemy. After a quick search, Batman finds Alfred in a shooting gallery. Musing that he would endanger both their lives by trying to save him in the Stalker's booby-trapped gallery, Batman retreats only to return and tackle his butler to the ground and deliver a strong punch to his face. As unusual as this action seems, Batman has deduced that Alfred is in fact the Stalker in disguise and when the hero unmasks the Stalker, the latter tries to escape by jumping away from Batman, unaware that he'd be jumping to his death.
Unable to save the Stalker, Batman leaves the place and meets with the real Alfred, who had followed Batman to make sure he defeated his enemy.

SECOND STORY Stumbling upon a murder plot at Hudson University, Batgirl soon finds herself the killers next victim after being bound, gagged and sealed in a room behind a brick wall.
Earlier in the evening, Dick Grayson had taken on his guise of Robin in order to conduct his own investigation of the murder. Finding that the body of Willard was pointing at a book of poetry (particularly the words "POE") and remembering the Poe festival, Robin finally realizes who the killer might be.
Rushing to the theater, Robin catches the killer just before he can apply the last brick that would seal Batgirl's tomb, but the murderer manages to get away. Robin then frees Batgirl, and the two heroes begin searching the theater for their assailant. After a chase through the theater, Robin and Batgirl manage to catch the killer who turns out to be none other than student Jack Markham.

Ramon celebrated his eighteenth birthday at the Huntington mansion with his parents, as his older siblings had all married and moved out. The sudden loss of the family’s fortunes at the turn of the decade had left him more jaded than before. Though he sometimes took it out on others, he adored his mother, Olga, and was always pleasant to her. He hoped to learn all her recipes and become a great cook someday. The youngest Huntington child had entered young adulthood, and though J had once pinned his hopes for a political successor onto Ramon, the Depression had made it hard for him to find work. Yet, he assured his girlfriend Esther Shapiro that someday he would be able to provide for their future.

Inside The Luxurious Life Of Jason Statham
Inside The Luxurious Life Of Jason Statham https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PASLYElrpAQ Inside The Luxurious Life Of Jason Statham Description: Jason Statham, known for revolutionizing the action film genre, has not only impressed us with his artistic skills but has also amassed significant wealth, with an estimated net worth of $90 million. Starring in blockbuster films like Fast and Furious and The Expendables, Statham's box office success has made him a prominent figure in the film industry. Statham's artistic inclination was nurtured from a young age, as his parents were involved in the entertainment industry. His mother was an actress and dancer, while his father was an actor and singer. Despite this connection, Statham's career path wasn't initially focused on acting. Before becoming a movie star, he had various jobs, including collaborating with his parents' jewelry business. The profits from this venture were invested in his diving career, during which he pursued the possibility of representing the British swimming team in the Olympics. Between 1984 and 1988, Statham dedicated 12 years to diving, almost securing a spot in the British swimming team for the Olympics. However, he eventually transitioned to professional modeling, participating in campaigns for renowned brands. It was during a casting for Guy Ritchie's film "Lock, Stock, and Two Smoking Barrels" that Statham's acting career took off. The film's success propelled him into stardom, even though his initial earnings were modest. Statham's income skyrocketed over the years, with notable pay increases for films like The Italian Job, Transporter, and The Expendables series. His best payment came from the Fast and Furious spin-off, Hobbs & Shaw, where he earned $20 million. Despite starting with a relatively low salary, Statham's persistence in performing his dangerous scenes without a stunt double and his consistent success at the box office contributed to his financial prosperity. Known for his roles as characters causing destruction on screen, Statham is also recognized for investing large sums in the remodeling of mansions. He and his wife, Rosie Huntington-Whiteley, have acquired several properties, including a $7 million house in London and a $10.6 million three-bedroom property. They often rent out properties for passive income. Statham's real estate ventures include selling a summer property in Malibu for $18.5 million, a significant profit from its $10,000 acquisition in 2009. He also owns a contemporary mansion in California valued at $12.9 million, featuring modern aesthetics, a dream kitchen, and luxurious living spaces. As a car enthusiast, Statham's garage boasts luxury sports cars, including two Audi R8s, a Lamborghini Murcielago, an Aston Martin DBS, a Jaguar XJ, and a Porsche 911 GT2, among others. His collection reflects his passion for speed and adrenaline. In terms of accessories, Statham's watch collection includes Rolex models like the Explorer 2, Submariner, and Daytona, with the latter valued at $585,000. He also owns a Patek Philippe Nautilus worth $63,000, showcasing his style and elegance. *Inside the Luxurious Life of Tom Cruise https://youtu.be/qrEuyBGo4p0?si=8rsXSw7FENjyAcJp *Inside $5 billion Amazon Headquarters https://youtu.be/RHwu1VMHiA0?si=fBnmivF1PEWIw8Cu For Collaboration and Business inquiries, please use the contact information below: 📩 Email: [email protected] #lifestyle #luxurious #exclusive via luxury field https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCJhOMyDsJS5unW-iqcVEG7A March 15, 2024 at 10:03AM

Currently playing: Random Legacy
I’m not sure if I’ll continue to post updates about this family or even for how much longer I’ll be playing them. But I wanted a break from my legendary legacy save and after a few new save file attempts I landed on a Random Legacy family I fell in love with.
It occurred to me that I have never played in the standard new game save created by EA. I always severely edit the worlds/people myself or play in a save file created by the community that does. I’ve also never played in the traditional legacy style of moving into the largest plot of land in the world and building up to a mansion type home. Plus, years ago I remember making it to 4 generations in a Random Legacy and having a total blast. So I said why not give it all a go.
Aspirations, careers, likes & dislikes, reward traits, life choices (pop ups included), number of kids (I don’t force my sim to have X amount, I just disallow the use of birth control until that number is potentially reached or they are close to elder years), randomized. If a pop up for life discovery or a new like/dislike arises I just say yes. Granted some things are chosen by me, if they have a like for something upon age up I may have them focus on it as a hobby. If they randomly propose, I might follow through with a wedding want for it or not. I typically try to fulfill as many wants as possible though. I have no rules on who is heir, though I found it impossible for the first born to be heir and start a family when I had the parents, new husband, two siblings, a dog, and a horse all living on the same lot. I also randomized where my legacy would take place and landed in Chestnut Ridge. Maximum inherited traits (set through MCC) are randomized up to 3. On top of those inherited traits, I randomize for which reward traits each sim will save up for, once they achieve it, they roll for another potential reward trait. I think that covers everything, but if you have any questions feel free to ask.
So anyway, the story…
Briar Colston was a young adult who found herself at a crossroads in life. After falling out with her parents over her obsession with Star Wars and inheriting a large plot of land in Chestnut Ridge she decided to use all the money she had to move and be the start of a new legacy.
Between her frequent trips to Batuu where she joined the Resistance, Briar made money through becoming a Tech Guru. Briar was surprised to find out she only had one fellow female coworker, but she grew close with the boys she worked with. Even married TWO of them, divorced them both and remarried them both again! Not at the same time though.
Over the course of her lifetime. Briar completed her aspiration of Hope vs Order, maxed her career as a Start-up Entrepreneur in the Tech Guru career, had three children with her first/third husband Akira Kibo and built a shabby shack house which  laid the foundation for what will one day be a large legacy home.
During adulthood, Akira went through a midlife crisis where he felt he needed to find a more creative outlet. And while Briar didn’t go through a traditional midlife crisis, she also went through something. She found while Akira was off rediscovering himself, she desired a lust for finding passion too. Only more so in the romantic sense. First by wanting to flirt with coworker J Huntington, which ultimately led to nothing more than a simple one time flirt. To wanting to flirt with Sergio Romeo which led to a very passionate affair which ended with her divorcing Akira, him divorcing Siobhan, and marrying one another each having three children with past spouses. Akira loved his wife and his children deeply and agreed to end the marriage amicably, he stayed in the house and hoped one day his ex-wife would come back to him. She did.
The kids neither loved or hated Sergio. For them nothing really changed being as Sergio was already a family friend and Akira never left. Over time, Briar found herself longing for Akira once more. She missed the way he kissed her. And so, as they neared their elder years, Briar found herself divorcing Sergio and remarrying Akira. Sergio moved out.
The oldest son, Owen, grew into an outgoing genius who aspired to be a Championship Rider. He discovered himself a bit of an overachiever and took on a career in Law. He stayed home for a while after entering young adulthood before moving out to a small ranch nearby with girlfriend Lilith Vatore. Though later married Savannah Bheeda, a daughter of long time family friend Arun Bheeda (through MCC).
The middle child, Ben, was a hot-headed bisexual who had toyed with romanicing Kent Bheeda and Quinn Scott in his teenage years, also sons of his parent’s friends. He enjoyed photography and became a freelance artist who fancied himself a freegan and moved into a small apartment in Evergreen Harbor aspiring to seek inner peace. When he realized his sister had also grown feelings for Quinn, he backed off and asked Quinn to be just friends.
The youngest, Eisley, took a different direction in her teen years. While both brothers had aspired to be goal oriented she desired teenage rebellion. She also inherited an alluring nature from her mother and quickly found herself in a whirlwind romance with the older Quinn Scott (Quinn is aged in between Ben and Eisley). Unlike her brothers who moved out still virgins, Eisley and Quinn were very sexually active and midway through teenage years, she proposed. They had talked about marriage since their first date though. They got married during the Romance festival the same day both their father’s had passed away. The Romance guru said “a life without love was not worth living” and given the passing of their parents they felt the time was now.
Akira passed away first, leaving Briar a widow with 7 days left to live. She wasted no time and immediately wanted to pick her romance with Sergio back up. He too had 7 days left to live and asked to move back in the second he saw her again. Now being elders with days left to live, the two decided to remarry on Christmas Day.
And that's pretty close to where I am now. Next time I play, Eisley will become a young adult. I found I adored all three children but like I had mentioned at the beginning, it was near impossible to have Owen be the heir at that point. I felt I was hindering his life by keeping him at home so when Lilith asked to move in, I took that as his opportunity to move out. I took a bit of her money paired with a bit of my household funds and got them a pony and a starter ranch. I also used my household funds to purchase the apartment for Ben. I loved Ben as well, but I made a choice to stick with the youngest for heir when I moved Owen out. I make a room out of a few of their items and save it to my gallery. I give my kids money and set them up in their own place but cheat the money for the room of their items. And at the legacy house I sell those items but cheat away the money they get for it. I hate that you can't put furniture in personal inventory. After that, they get marked unplayed and I let MCC decide their fate.
I’ve been having so much fun falling back in love with the sims. And I can’t stop geeking out over seeing the original townies children all mingling together. Part of me wanted to begin playing rotationally between the children but I like seeing what they get up to on their own.
If you're bored with your sim's gameplay 100% recommend a random legacy.

Southland Parks -- Visiting the Huntington's Chinese and Japanese Gardens
The other day, I visited one of my favorite places in Los Angeles — The Huntington Library, Art Museum, and Botanical Gardens (or, “The Huntington” to you and me). For anyone who hasn’t visited, the Huntington is the former estate of railroad magnate, Henry Edwards Huntington (1850-1927). Their mansion opened as the Huntington Art Gallery in 1928. It’s collections focused on American and European…

J: Zoe that kiss outside was....
Zoe: I know.
J: It's still there isn't it?
Zoe: What?
J: The... spark. That night when... when we made Lilly...
Zoe: Ohhhh watcher..
J: That was... quite a night *grin*
Zoe: Aha... yeah... I've never denied we got that part of our relationship nailed.
J: *bursts out laughing* NAILED??
Zoe: Oh! You know what I mean!
J *uncontrollable giggling*
Zoe: *laughing* you need to cool off
J: There's a hot tub?
Zoe: Eh??
J: Upstairs! I asked chef to install it a few years ago so when I brought dates here I-
Zoe: You could woohoo them in the hot tub after wining and dining them?? Are you serious right now? Is that what this is?? Just another casual date to you??
J: What?? no!
Zoe: Why did you bring me here J??? *angry*
J: No no no Zoe that's not what I meant! Back then I was all bravado and... well yeah I had this fantasy that I'd bring girls to my Dads restaurant and they'd be so impressed their clothes would fall off and it would all be wall to wall woohoo and yeah! I probably could have gotten 'around' a lot more than I did-
Zoe: Then why didn't you?? you've got the perfect set up right?? *furious*
J: Because I met you, Zoe
Zoe: Horse manure.
J: I-
Zoe: *Death stare*
J: OKAY! Because... because for all the brovado and talk about girls and woohoo and stupid behaviour I-... I didn't really want that life.
Zoe: *Softening* What do you want?
J:.... I still don't know. I know what I don't want though and that's what my parents have.
Zoe: What do you mean?
J:... My Dad married my Mum because she's a Landgraab. She's Nancy's great aunt, I don't know if you knew-
Zoe: No, I didn't.
J: Yeah so she was from a branch of the Landgraab family that had squandered the majority of their fortune but she still carried the name, so Dad's parents forced the match. The Huntington's are outsiders and needed the legitimacy of a lore family, and Mum's family needed the Huntington's new money. Win win *sad*
Zoe: So it wasn't a love match?
J: Hell no. They stayed together because I came along but they've never really loved each other. Dad loved women, spent most of my childhood over here in tartosa... 'entertaining'.
Zoe: Man that's awful, your poor Mother.
J: Mother?? She loved it! Having Dad out of the way meant she could rule the house with an iron fist. She was so strict, so many maids and butlers quit on us... I couldn't quit though. I was stuck there in that massive, empty mansion with her empty heart until I became a young adult.
Zoe: That's why you moved to Oasis springs?
J: yeah! I was just so lost. First bit of freedom I'd ever had in my life and I had no idea what to do with it.. so I copied my Dad.
Zoe. Girls.
J: Exactly.

Kary Perry attacked after legal battle with 84-year-old: What is her obsession with exploiting the elderly and weak?
In recent days, Katy Perry has faced allegations of taking advantage of an elderly individual via a legal dispute.
This issue involved a bedridden veteran and his 15 million dollar home in Santa Barbara.
Katy Perry's shoe collection that has received plenty of hate
After initially claiming that 84-year-old Carl Westcott owed her money in damages, the famous singer altered her stance.
Sources close to Westcott's family have told RadarOnline that Perry's U-turn is the right decision.
Perry reportedly accused the elderly man, who is battling Huntington's Disease, of owing her 2.6m dollars.
She claimed that she was compelled to lease a nearby property for 75,000 dollars per month after purchasing Westcott's expansive mansion.
What raised eyebrows was Perry's statement, made under oath, that she owned three properties in the Santa Barbara area. This led many to question why she would incur expenses for a rental property and expect Westcott to cover the damages.
Subsequently, Perry's attorney dismissed the damages claim related to the rental property, which raised concerns among those close to Westcott about Perry's underlying intentions.
"It is outrageous and near fraudulent that Katy Perry tried to charge the Westcotts for a rental house that she only had to rent because she was spending millions on the remodel of the 14.2m dollar house she bought after she could not get Westcott's house due to his obvious mental incapacity," an insider told RadarOnline.com.
"What is her obsession with exploiting the elderly and weak?"
What, indeed. It's evil to be this way and I'm very disappointed in Orlando Bloom for acting this way.
