The Goddess That Defied Fate [Huedhaut x OC] Chapter 12
After Shiro’s outburst, Hue stood in silence, pressing his hand to his mouth. Having used up the last of her powers, her legs gave out from underneath her. “Shiro!” Hue caught her. “I know this is unfair of me, but I can’t lose you. Not again.” “You really do say the most ridiculous things…” Through hazy eyes, she saw Hue smile. “You don’t want to harm the Earth, and you don’t want to die. Right?” Shiro glared at him, not answering. She knew where he was going with this. “And I don’t want to let you die. We don’t have any other options…” Hue put a hand over his right eye again. “Yes, we do. Those are only the options Zyglavis gave us.” Hue’s eyes widened. “There’s a fourth option.” “So, you want me to help you find that fourth option,” he said matter-of-factly. Shiro smiled and gently pulled his hand away from his right eye, gripping his hand tightly. Hue smiled. “You’ve always had an unusually powerful grip, ever since the very beginning.” “Because I grab onto the things I want to protect, and I don’t let go.” “I give up. No… I mean, I won’t give up. Shiro, I won’t give up on a future with you.” Shiro breathed a sigh of relief and the roaring winds subsided. Zyglavis, who had been held at bay by the winds, looked their way past Kuro, glaring. Kuro, on the other hand, looked as relaxed as ever, a smirk on her face. She buffed her nails against her shirt and inspected them.
“Give up, Zyglavis. This is not going to go like you want it to. I’m going to risk my life, but not out of hopelessness. I’m going to do it to help you find that ‘fourth option’.” Hue looked down at Shiro’s face.  “You’ve been spouting nothing but nonsense since I got here. Enough is enough. How about some silence?!” Zyglavis yelled, quickly pointing his palm at them. A shot rang out and Zyglavis clutched his hand, blood seeping through the pristine glove. Kuro laughed sinisterly, holding her gun in front of her face. “Kuro!” Shiro exclaimed. Her sister would face extreme retribution for this. Kuro stepped in front of them. “I have faith in my sister. Shiro isn’t going anywhere.” Kuro’s voice had a very dangerous edge to it. “Kuromi…” Zyglavis said. “There is no ‘fourth option’. I guess I have to teach you that the hard way,” he said. “You really don’t know when to call it quits, do you?” Hue returned fire with quick energy balls of his own. The two gods were evenly matched in power. “If you had just surrendered on your own… I was going to give you a peaceful death,” Zyglavis said, his words directed at Shiro. “I don’t care what you say. I won’t let you harm this girl. I will protect her this time,” Hue answered. “‘Even if it means I have to sacrifice myself’, right? Your favourite motto…” A mocking grin appeared on Zyglavis’s face. Hue, however, responded to Zyglavis’s words with a calm smile. “That’s what I used to believe… But now I know I was wrong.” “What?” Zyglavis asked, his eyes wide. “It hurt to lose the goddess.” “I have a name, you know…” Shiro mumbled. “But I really was wrong to call what she did ‘being sacrificed’.” “You’re just playing with words now. She gave her life to save the Earth. What is it called, if not a sacrifice?” Zyglavis asked. “It doesn’t matter what it looked like to you or anyone else. What matters is the truth. If the Clotho didn’t see it as a sacrifice, then we’re misrepresenting what she did to call it that,” Hue said. “Hue...” Shiro muttered.  “I don’t know what you’re talking about…” “Zyglavis, the goddess never stopped hoping for the best. She risked her life believing in the future. She came to me without giving up. And now she’s done it again. That’s why… I won’t say ‘I wish I had never met her’ anymore.” Hue squeezed her hand tightly. Shiro remembered what she had said before she gave her life to save the Earth. “Hue, I’m so, so happy I fell in love with you. That’s why I want to bring love to Earth if I can… I want to help humanity to recover their ability to love as you taught me to love.” Yes. She believed in her decision completely back then. There was no reason for everyone to be forever saddened by what she did. “I’m getting sick of listening to you.” Zyglavis launched another attack. “Enough!” Kuro snapped her fingers, creating a protective barrier around Shiro and Hue. “Do what you need to do, Shiro.” She took a fighting stance in front of Zyglavis. Shiro nodded as Kuro smiled over her shoulder. “I can tell you the truth now. I’m not doing this as an act of self-sacrifice. Not for the Earth, and not for your soul. I’m doing this because I want to protect you,” Hue said. “Why?” Shiro asked. “It’s not like you to be so slow. Isn’t it obvious?” “I want you to say it.” “There’s only one reason I want to protect you. I’m in love with you. I love you, Shiro.” “Hue… Are you sure? I’m me, but I’m not the same I was back then.” “I know. I love you because you are you, Shiro. How many times are you going to make me say it? Or… Can you see right through me? Do you already know I want to say it over and over again?” Shiro threw her arms around his neck. “I love you, too, Hue. I always have. And I always will. I thought I could never tell you because I’m human now. I was so scared of my own feelings that I tried to hide them. But it was no use. I love you. I love your snarky humour. I love your sarcasm. I love that you have hidden weaknesses. I love everything about you. And I am so, so happy that I fell in love with you.” I looked up at him. Hue’s eyes widened. “Shiro…” “Which is why I will save this world. I will save this future. Our future. Please, Hue. Trust me.” Shiro’s eyes were serious as she looked at him. “You had to bear your pain alone for a long time. But I’m here now. I won’t leave you again.” “Shiro. I will protect you from anything and everything that ever tries to hurt you. And I promise… I will never leave you,” Hue said, smiling for a moment. She smiled back and nodded. Then, she did what came naturally. Her clothes gradually changed until she donned her godly form. Hue gasped. “Shiro, that form…”
With a calm smile on her face, Shiro confidently stepped up to Kuro. She wrapped her arm around her sister’s shoulder from behind as Hue had done mere moments befor, and pulled Kuro to her. “Hands off my little sister!” Shiro held out her palm and several red threads shot out towards Zyglavis, trapping him in a red threaded cage. “Impossible…” “Quit your griping for one damn minute. You’re such a pain. The Earth is already back to normal so just shut up already,” Shiro snapped. She looked down at the fountain as it started to glow. The scenes of Earth reflected on the water gradually began to change. “The rain stopped… The Earth’s climate is stabilising,” Zyglavis said. “What in the world is happening…?” Hue asked, looking from the fountain to me. “The crisis is over,” a strangely comforting voice filled the air. Zyglavis, Hue, and Kuro all spun to the source of the voice, their eyes wide. Shiro could only smile wryly as she let the threaded cage dissipate. She turned to the gentle light until a god exuding divine energy appeared. “So your heart has learned to love again.” “Yes, Your Highness,” Hue answered. Zyglavis, Hue and Kuro bowed to the king. Shiro followed suit. The king, smiling quietly, looked back and forth between Hue and her. “That question wasn’t directed at you, Huedhaut,” the king said. “Huh?” Hue asked. “You regained your ability to love quite a while ago. Your mark vanishing was proof of that.” “You can’t mean—Then, my mark of sin wasn’t… Didn’t I sin by interfering with death when I kept the goddess’s soul on the wheel of rebirth?” “I did not punish you for that. After losing the person most precious to you, you lost yourself in sadness and rejected love. That was your sin.” “Don’t tell me you didn’t figure that out until now…” Kuro muttered. Shiro lightly elbowed her. “My darling Kuro. It seems you are as quick as ever.” The king turned back to Hue. “You refused to see why the goddess gave her life… Instead, you told yourself love meant sacrifice and loss, closing your heart to the world.” “Your Highness… You knew all of this all along? You knew all this would happen?” Zyglavis asked. “The goddess offered her life to save the Earth. That was the first and only time a god had attempted such a thing. Not even I could predict how a gamble that unprecedented would play out. I knew that if his heart were to be saved, only one with the soul of the goddess of fate could do it, but to think that she wasn’t a reincarnation at all, but the goddess herself in human form…” The king smiled at me. “You have accomplished something truly splendid, Clotho. No, I suppose your name is Shiro now.” Shiro smiled back, unable to answer. “Then, allow me to ask you again. Have you opened your heart to love again?” “Your Highness…” “Well… the answer is already clear, but I thought I’d ask anyway.” Shiro took a deep breath. “It’s true, Your Highness. After Hue left, for a time, I’d forgotten something very important. I’d forgotten why I saved the Earth in the first place. But I remember now. I saved the Earth because I wanted to give humans what Hue had given me.” She the corners of her eyes sting. “Zyglavis, you seem to have misunderstood one thing. Huedhaut also made the same mistake,” the king said. “What do you mean?” Zyglavis asked. “This girl did not lose control of her divine power because it was too much for her control. I did not expect her to be able to use divine power either, but… This human showed surprising skill when linking her powers and her heart.” “I don’t believe it,” Hue said. Shiro smiled wryly. “I had a feeling that was the case. My heart prompted the release of my divine powers which was what threw Earth into chaos. I… did exactly what I told Hue not to do.” She rubbed her arm and looked to the side. “I rejected the love I had always had in my heart for him.” “That was indeed what caused the rain,” the king told her. She nodded. “I see. Long ago, she chose to give her life to save the Earth out of love. For her to then reject love…” Zyglavis mused. “Yes, her rejection of love threw the Earth back into chaos. The planet really could be destroyed by such an imbalance in energies,” the king said. “Which you already knew. And you also already knew how to fix it.” Kuro stepped next to Shiro. “You knew?” Hue asked, his eyes wide. “Yes. I would have told you, but you were so adamant about using the stars in your right eye to stop it, I had to talk you down from the ledge first,” Shiro told him. “Now then, I hope everyone is clear on exactly what happened. Perhaps now you can see what path to take in the future,” the king said. “Thank you for your words, Your Highness. I take them all to heart,” Hue said. “Thank you, Your Highness,” Shiro chimed. “You can never lie to your own hearts about the love you feel again. Oh, and by the way, your death could also disturb the balance of energy on Earth. So don’t worry, no threats will be made on your life. Isn’t that right, Zyglavis.” The king glanced at Zyglavis and smiled a smile that sent shivers down Shiro’s spine. “Forgive me, King, but this girl is romantically involved with Huedhaut. Such relationships between gods and humans are forbidden. It is a sin for—” “There’s no need to raise your voice, Zyglavis. That should prove entertaining as well,” the king said. The corner of Shiro’s lips twitched. “Besides, I’m not even human,” she mused. “What?” Zyglavis narrowed his eyes at her. “I don’t know if it was because of what Hue did, but right now, the most accurate term for me would be along the lines of ‘demi-god’.” “Don’t be ridiculous. Something like that isn’t—” “Possible?” Shiro cut Zyglavis off. “Please spare me. Give up your idea of what you think is possible or impossible. Nothing about this situation is normal. Do you honestly think a human would be able to what I did?” The king laughed. “Indeed, you are not entirely human. Those who are bound together by the threads of fate have the strength of will forge their own paths. You, Shiro, are capable of doing just that,” the king told her. “I will,” she said confidently. “‘I’? You’re not alone. Are you trying to get back at me for before? I’d appreciate it if you replaced that ‘I’ with a ‘we’,” Hue smirked at her. Shiro chuckled. “Yes, you’re right. We’ll create our future. Together.” She squeezed his hand, interlacing her fingers through his. The king chuckled. “Today turned out to be a good day. I suppose this was destiny too. Isn’t that right, Shiro?” “Yes, but, well… It’s a destiny we created ourselves, by our own hands.” Shiro peered back into the reflecting pool, seeing beautiful images of the Earth. “Let’s give this our all. We’ll probably have a lot of obstacles in our path… But…” Hue started to say. “We will. I know we can build a wonderful future together.” Shiro smiled.

What makes Vlad a member of team cookies and cream?
*Please read for more context Team cookies and cream: 2 Lines & A Circle : Flavor of Love: Team cookies and cream in-depth... (tumblr.com)
Tumblr media
I read all of Vlad’s route just to write this review and boy was I confused as to what team he belonged to.
I originally placed him with team cookies and cream way back when I was writing about that team. Now, I’m pretty confident he belongs in team cookies and cream. Past me was right for placing him back there.
The premise in team cookies and cream are two sides to a person to make them whole, which sums up Vlad. As a vampire he is aware of his position and understands that he’s different from humans. However, he cares deeply for humankind to the point of violence to protect them from harm. Those two aspects of him make up his cookies and cream aspect. With the sweet cream part would be his love for humans as well for the MC. Meanwhile the methods Vlad is willing to use is what classifies to be the hard cookie bits.
Tumblr media
Unique to only team cookies and cream is how they love because unlike other teams they fall first and hard. We see this is abundantly clear to Vlad as he is instantly smitten with the MC since he first meets her, explaining his advances to her. Another important point is how he never quite pushed away the MC, instead he goes to her each chance he gets. Vlad wants the MC to know he loves her deeply to the point of eternity. Bringing up the idea how everyone from team cookies and cream will love once and be devoted to only that person.
It’s common for Vlad to have a sad smile on his face throughout his route due to his past, yet he never hides that sad smile. Team cookies and cream never hide any emotion they face, everything they feel is said on their beautiful faces. This is a very key point as none of the other teams will constantly show how they feel to everyone.
Once in love Vlad is a sweetheart and I love that so much! Whew! I got too caught up in him… I highly recommended his route to if you want someone sweet, caring, and villainous.
Yep, Vlad is a villain through and through, well he’s more of an anti villain. Like many he views his plans as ideal for everyone, but it falls through. Even after Vlad talks with the MC to shake off his plans he doesn’t see the truth till he views it in person. Which brings me another common trait with team cookies and cream, they need to see it in person. Every life lesson has to happen to them; it can never be taught otherwise.
If you love ikemen vampire and Vlad I highly recommend you check out Kotaro Bokuto from Haikyuu. I know it’s not a romance option, but he’s got that fluff like Vlad does. For otome I would say Huedhaut from Star Crossed Myth for his protective nature.

Hi! I was wondering if I could request a story with Scorpio preventing a female MC from committing su!c!de. I know it's really dark, so if you don't feel comfortable with it, you're under NO obligation to write it. If so, I'm terribly sorry for requesting something triggering. I just really love your writing and all the comfort pieces you've written up until now have been great comfort for me. (Omg- I should stop writing so big requests- Someone's gonna kick my b u t t one day💀)
Scorpio~ Famous Last Words
Synopsis: MC didn’t ask to be a reincarnated goddess. She was always just a tool to be used by whoever had power over her, that included cruel gods like Scorpio. But he didn’t realize his mistake until it was almost too late.

Female Goldfish! Warnings: suicide, blood, self-harm, GoRe
A/N: Same day delivery, anyone? The angst was enough to make me cry this time—probably because I picked a really angsty my chemical romance song for the title… And I went a little too far adding extra unnecessary drama and angst by pulling some Oedipus Rex shit—for anyone who understands that reference, congrats, you passed your English class.
I love comforting dudes with my angst, but I wish I could give y’all hugs. It seems like you guys need it. PLUS, the bigger the request, the more information I have to write what you want! So never hold back! I won’t kick your butt for being creative. I’ll kick my own butt for going too deep into the darkness of this request tho.
–Word Count: 5,092–
Their voices were too loud as they echoed through the hall. I wanted to go home, but they offered me a room in their mansion for better access to my powers. I had been surrounded by nothing but gods for more than a few weeks and I was growing weary of their superiority complexes. They were always talking down on humans, saying how high maintenance we were as if I were some kind of animal they had unwillingly adopted. Well, that was mostly Leon and Scorpio who loathed humans. Teorus, Ichthys, and Dui all acted as if I were some new and exciting pet dog for them to play with. Huedhaut was decent enough, but he rarely spoke to me unless he needed something, drawing me to the conclusion that he didn’t really like me being around either.
I had these self-depreciating thoughts in my head thanks to their low opinions on humans—but I already felt that being alive and human was a waste of time and resources long before I met them, anyway. Before I met them, I would have thought that gods loved humans—guess I was wrong there too.
“Stupid woman.” My door was flung open, and I flinched as it hit the wall, Scorpio walking in with his infamous scowl. “You deaf? I don’t like being kept waiting. I need your powers to work. C’mon.”
Scorpio’s anger was one thing I was afraid of on top of all the other feelings I got from him. He was a volatile god, so it was only natural to feel this way. Right? He and Leon were at odds with each other but they acted so similar. I wondered if they both took sadistic pleasure from making me feel like shit day in and day out.
It didn’t help that they weren’t at all concerned with my health—or maybe they just never considered it. After all, gods couldn’t know what it was like to have a mental illness, could they? I wasn’t sure they’d even understand what depression was even if I said I needed my medicine for it.
Silently, I helped Scorpio with his work for the day. Luckily it wasn’t much, and he only touched me when he absolutely needed to. After all, I had been told by the other gods that his power allowed him to pick up on the negative feelings of others when he touched them. I was sure he felt plenty of negative feelings from me. However, my work wasn’t done even after Scorpio was finished with me. Ichthys and Dui were next—lest they not do their work and incur Scorpio’s wrath too.
“Hey,” Dui addressed me, actually sounding somewhat concerned since we first met. “You look pretty down today. Do you feel drained when we use you to do our work?”
“That would make sense,” Ichthys agreed despite me not having said anything to either of them. “We get tired too from using our powers. We’ll let the others know to give you a break. The guys from the Heaven’s will be upset, but we can’t drain our goldfish since we need her to get back home.”
They needed to use me just to get back home. They constantly reminded me of the reason for me being among gods. I didn’t earn their godly favor or praise, they just needed what the stars in my eyes could give them. But Dui and Ichthys kept their promise to give me a well-deserved break. Well, I say it was well-deserved; I was just emotionally exhausted from having to see them every day. Of course, Scorpio was relentless in visiting me at least twice a day to remind me how I needed to regain my strength so he could leave this filthy world.
Right… and the minute they could go home then I’d be left all alone again on this filthy planet that they hated so much. How could they be gods that watched over humans if they couldn’t even tolerate walking amongst them? Nothing had ever made me feel more useless in the universe than knowing that not even gods genuinely wanted me to exist. They were soon to return home anyway…
I hummed, staring out of the window of my room. Maybe the heavens was that much better than Earth. Maybe… it was time for me to go home too.
***
I wasn’t in my room, Scorpio had checked there more than once during his search across the mansion. Usually my presence was so bright and noticeable to them, but I had vanished under their noses. He didn’t like the pit that was forming in his chest. There had been something off about me lately but he couldn’t put his finger on it. Even just touching me he could feel the festering negative energy inside of me. It was something he was familiar enough with, but he didn’t think too hard on it. It wasn’t like this goldfish lived the same life that he did when he was a human. At least I had a pleasant home. Heck, I was allowed to live amongst gods. What could have been a greater honor than to be among divine beings?
Storming into the living room with his narrowed eyes, he scanned the room. Though, their conversation already clued him in to the fact that I wasn’t there either.
Leon was leaning back in his chair with Huedhaut sitting on the opposite sofa. They were both doing paperwork, something Leon vehemently hated with a passion. “Idiot scorpion,” Leon complained to distract himself from his work. “If you and your lackeys hadn’t drained the goldfish, then I’d be doing actual work and not this rubbish. When is she coming do her job to send us home?”
“Filthy lion,” Scorpio immediately shot back without missing a beat. “I don’t know where the stupid woman went, but she’s mine, got it? She’ll be removing my mark first.” He grumbled angrily to himself as he retreated from the living room. He didn’t need to put up with this bullshit right now, he had other things on his mind.
What were things that humans typically needed? Fresh air? Was that a thing on this filthy planet? He searched outside the mansion, but there were no signs of me being there either. Humans needed food, leading him back to the kitchen once again. Even so, there were no signs of me having eaten anything in the past day or so. Did no one notice that?
There were plenty of stupid humans in the world, but he had met none with my kind of stupidity in a long while. Just what kind of life could I have lived to feel so shitty? Well, Scorpio supposed he might not have helped very much. He wasn’t sure anything that ever flew out of his mouth was relatively close to being nice—but who could blame him? He was Scorpio, the Vice-Minister of the Department of Punishments. It wasn’t his job to be the nice guy. That’s what the guys in Wishes were there for. Maybe I’d have been in a better shape if I had chosen someone from their department instead of some hardass like him.
He was furious when he returned to my room for the fifth time that day. I wasn’t anywhere around and it was pissing him off that I’d just vanished into thin air. Throwing my door open, his scowl deepened as he didn’t immediately see me.
He didn’t want to go through any of my belongings, but it seemed like that was the only choice he had left. There were a few books scattered here and there, I borrowed some of them from Huedhaut, but one of them stood out to him. The cover was blank and didn’t have any special title or cover. It was a plain book that almost blended it with the others.
Originally he was just going to toss it aside and continue his search, but the idea of it possibly being a journal made him think back on his decision to avoid reading. He was sure my handwriting would be too shitty to read, anyway; I was just a human and my hands were always shaking when he took me to work.
However, he was surprised when he flipped to the first page. My handwriting was legible, but still had some sections that looked like chicken scratch. Well, he couldn’t say much. His handwriting was garbage when he was a human—much worse than what he was looking at now.
Scanning through the pages, he only slowed down to a readable pace when he came across the more important parts. Such as… seeing his name. His eyes were glued to the page where he was first mention.
‘I met gods today. They’re so strange and nothing like what humanity thinks. They’re… a lot more cruel. I didn’t believe them at first. It would have been more believable if they had told me they were demons. But their powers were real and they need my help to get home. I agreed to help Scorpio after he saved my life—that was the only thing that made me believe they were really gods.
Scorpio’s a scary god, but he seems familiar for some reason. I picked him because I thought we had something in common. We both think that the Earth is filthy trash. He calls me stupid… I can’t say I disagree. Besides, gods know better, don’t they? If he says I’m stupid and useless, then it must be true. Still, I like him deep down. He tells things how they are. I hope going home will make him happier than he is on Earth…’
That was when he first met me, he noted. He didn’t think I liked him very much at all. Was he that dense that he couldn’t tell what kind of effect his words were having on me? Stupid? No. He just said that because he hated humans, he hated he was once a human. But if he could be a god and I could be a reincarnated goddess, then… surely I wasn’t as bad as he made it sound.
Still, he continued flipping through the many pages of writings on the other gods. They had little tidbits and extra comments about things he said and did throughout my time in the mansion, but there wasn’t anything that truly caught his attention until he found this week’s entry.
Seeing his name in the same sentence as Ichthys and Dui, he could only assume the worst.
‘I learned something interesting about Scorpio today… His ideals are different from the other gods. They don’t outright hate humans like he does. The way he sees the world is so similar to me and I never understood why a god could feel the way I do.
I made a comment to Dui about sending them off of this filthy planet, and he made a comment back that some humans think alike. I didn’t understand what he meant until they explained how Scorpio used to be a human too. I had many theories about how Scorpio might have lived on Earth for some time before, but I never imagined he lived on Earth as a human. Not only that, but he was just a child… his parents sold him to become a weapon for some shady human organization.
I wasn’t sure how that really applied to me until I realized that this must be why I feel like Scorpio and I should share a connection that’s not really there. He didn’t see a point to living in a world with filthy humans. I don’t either. I also want to know what purpose I have. Why am I here? I hate being a human because humans are so cruel in this world. I hate this world.
There’s no point.
The gods keep mentioning something about the stars in their eyes keeping them alive. I heard a story about how Huedhaut took the stars out of his eyes to save my soul. Is he happy with himself? It doesn’t matter. I don’t hate him for doing something he thought was right.
But… I’m not sure if it’s my heart or my soul that’s in pain. These gods all want to leave and go home to a place that sounds infinitely better than Earth. So I had a thought last night… what if I got rid of my stars? Then my soul wouldn’t keep coming back and leaving me in pain like this on Earth. Then I wouldn’t have to be such a nuisance. Maybe my soul would finally go home and I’d have peace like what the gods are searching for.
It’s a long shot… and it might not work. But thanks to the place I picked, even if I can’t remove my stars, I can at least have a nice final view of the Heavens. It’s a place that Scorpio once showed me on accident—a place on Earth that’s the closest I’ll ever get to the Heavens. I’ve explored it a few times on my own and found a cliff… It’s scary to think about it so I’ll leave it at this.’
What the hell was he feeling so emotional for? His hands were shaking, and he hated it. There was a page of writing left to read but he felt like he had to move, to run, to go. But the last page… he had such a desperate hope that I was okay and that the last page would leave off on a good note. Maybe it would tell him I was safe somewhere. That I was just catching my breath in that spot that he showed me.
He was too anxious to flip the page, though. Why was he feeling such a stupid human emotion?! Just flip the page and get it over with! He had to see it with his own two eyes!
‘Scorpio came find me again last night. Why did he seem more angry than usual? Maybe something’s bothering him too. At least he seems like he has good friends. Dui and Ichthys seem to care about him, as much as Ichthys constantly triggers his anger. He should talk to them about his feelings some time.
I’m just… sorry I couldn’t help them. Scorpio’s mark seemed like it was disappearing but we don’t know why. I’m sure he’ll be able to figure it out soon so he can go home. He’s really smart and knows what he’s doing in Punishments.
Even as a human he was smart enough and strong enough to be noticed by the gods to ascend to godhood. I’m a little jealous that he was rescued like that… but I’ll be saved soon in my own way. After all, it was only thanks to the other gods that I could find a solution to stopping my reincarnated soul from continuing this cruel cycle.
Terrified as I am… I’m ready.
As a final note… I guess it’s only a matter of time before they figure out what happened and search my things for answers why. All I can say is… I’m tired. Or… I was tired. I’m exhausted from feeling the weight of this world. I’m sorry I couldn’t have helped more. Next time, I'll do better. I’ll try to be less useless. I just wanted to go home too.’
NO. No, no, no. Dropping the book, he ran for the front door. How much time had passed? When did I leave the mansion? How much time did he have left? Was he out of time? He spent most of the day searching for me like an idiot when I was out there hurting! Well, if I was still out there hurting then he’d consider himself one lucky bastard.
He got confused glances from Ichthys and Teorus, but he didn’t acknowledge them as he focused on where he was sure I was. He needed to get to me fast. The door slammed shut behind him, only making him go faster.
All he could hear on the other side of the door was the merciless whipping of the wind around the trees. I had to be around there somewhere. I mentioned something about being nearest a cliff and he didn’t like that thought one bit. What if he found something he didn’t want to see…
Damn it. He was a god. This kind of situation should have been in his power to control!
But his eyes widened in childish fear as the wind carried my pained cries to him. He wasn’t sure where it was coming from, but he followed it as if it were his own life on the line. There was no time to waste when someone he cared about was in danger.
Someone he cared about? He paused. Yes, but there was no time to contemplate it now. His chest felt like it was searing—could that have been an effect of my pain that he was physically feeling? That didn’t seem to be the case as he flew up a rocky path. His heart stuttered uncomfortably as he found me kneeling on the ground, my hands cupping my face as if to muffle my agonized screams. There was a knife blood on the ground and on my hands but where was I hurt? What have I done while he wasn’t there to protect me?
“(NAME)!” It was the first time he said my name. But a surge of power hit him and before he knew it, he was in his god form kneeling beside me with the knife kicked away. “You idiot…” His throat tightened as he failed to properly be able to scold me. “What did you do?”
It hurt much more than I expected it too. The other gods made it sound so easy to pull stars out of your eyes, but I didn’t have any special powers, so I… tried to carve the stars out with a knife. I didn’t get very far at all before I was left crying in agony. Still, I wasn’t expecting to be found in my pathetic state. I didn’t want anyone there. I just wanted it to all be over. It wasn’t supposed to be this hard.
His rough, shaking fingers, caressed my blood-covered cheek as he turned my head up to him, his other hand having guided my hands away. Even to him, this didn’t look good. “You stupid-” He stopped himself from getting frustrated now. That wouldn’t help me. “You tried to take your stars out…” His fingers gently wiped around my eye to see the extent of the damage, but he didn’t know how bad it was. He wasn’t a freaking doctor. “Damn it. I’m taking you back to the mansion. Don’t you dare pull any more stupid shit.” He carefully pulled me into his arms. He didn’t want to hurt me further. It wasn’t like he even knew if that was the extent of the damage I had done. “I wouldn’t forgive myself if I let something happen to you…”
“It hurts!” I cried to Scorpio. “It hurts so much!” But what was I talking about? I wasn’t sure if I was talking about the way I mutilated my eye or if I meant the fact that I failed to die. What was worse? The emotional or physical pain? I’d read a lot about people who failed to commit suicide, but I never imagined how humiliatingly painful it would be.
He swore he could almost feel my pain radiating onto him, but his priority was to stop the bleeding. Snapping his fingers, he transported me straight back to the mansion where the gods in the livingroom panicked at hearing my cries and seeing the blood that covered me and Scorpio.
“Smartass,” Scorpio immediately called for Huedhaut, his sharp eyes landing immediately on the blue-haired smart ass who could fix this. “Make her stop bleeding!”
“Scorpio,” a voice called that I didn’t recognize, capturing Scorpio’s attention as soon as Huedhaut had begun to tend my injury. None of them had a single clue what was happening except for Scorpio, but he had his own problems. Zyglavis was standing in the living room, clearly for a reason. The Minister of Punishments said, “It’s time to return to the Heavens.”
His eyes hardened once again as he refused to leave my side. He couldn’t leave yet. “I ain’t going anywhere. I have something that needs to be finished.”
Zyglavis pursed his lips at the determination Scorpio held to stay here… to stay with a human. Scorpio had indeed changed during his time on Earth, but they didn’t have any options. “It isn’t a choice. Staying will put the Earth’s balance in jeopardy. If you want to ensure this human’s safety, then you’ll return to the Heavens.”
Scorpio felt torn. He knew he had to leave; he had been preparing for this moment. The only problem… was that he wanted to stay now that it was finally time to go.
“Scorpio!” He flinched at hearing me call his name. I called his name once before to save my life. Here, he found himself in a similar situation where my mental health hung in the balance.
However, before he could argue against Zyglavis, Dui and Ichthys stepped in, determination written on their faces. Dui promised, “We’ll stay with her until you get back. But you have to return for now. We promise we’ll keep an eye on her.” Ichthys nodded in agreement.
While he’d rather not have to rely on them and stay by my side himself, he reluctantly agreed. It wasn’t like he had a choice for the time being. My life was more important to him than anything else and if his powers interfered with anything that could interfere with my recovery, then he’d leave. But he internally swore that he’d return. Ignoring my desperate cries for him, he left with Zyglavis. I wouldn’t die yet, he was confident in that much.
***
Things had been harder since that day. I wasn’t sure how long it had been exactly. Every day seemed to repeat on loop. I would sleep, wake up with the sun shining through the window, eat, maybe go to the bathroom for a brief change of pace, and then back to sleep until the next morning. Every day the same gods visited me. Ichthys and Dui rarely left me alone in the room unless I was sleeping, though their attitudes told me that none of them were aware of what really happened that day.
The Wishes gods occasionally came to see if I wanted anything. They were the ones in charge of making sure I was comfortable. I mean, it was hard to be comfortable with bandages wrapped around my head to keep my eye covered and healing. Huedhaut asked many times what happened, but each time I met him with silence as a response. He changed my bandages at least once a day, always asking me how I was feeling. His heavenly concoction of salves sped up the healing process to where my eye felt numb for the most part while it healed.
Each day that passed by, I saw all gods except for the one that I really wanted. Though, as the days passed, I began to fear his return. I began to not want to see him. He was the only one who knew how appropriate it was to lecture me. He was the only one who knew how much of a real idiot I was. He saved me twice… despite that, part of me resented him for it as much as I loved him. How strong did he have to be to come find and save a lowly human like me?
I was lost to the land of dreams when I felt something softly cross my forehead, brushing the hair from my face. I never felt the bed dip, but I was suddenly awake enough to register that there was a weight beside me.
My eye opened up just enough to allow me to see the bleary image of a god. Only… it was him. Scorpio was leaning beside me on the bed, clearly wanting to get close without completely invading my space. His eyebrows furrowed as he felt the fear that coursed through me at first seeing him leaning above me. “Are you still hurting?” I couldn’t answer his question; I didn’t know if he meant physical pain or… “I’m not gonna ask why,” he continued when I didn’t speak. “I won’t waste your time with useless questions that we both know the answer to. But… Why did you think I’d be okay with losing you?”
“Why wouldn’t you be,” I quietly returned, my voice slightly hoarse from not being in use. “I’m just another filthy human with no use, no real place in this world. You don’t like humans anyway—but neither do I. Why did you save me again? Was saving me what let you return home? Why’d you come back?”
His fingers pressed against my lips to cease my endless questions. “I came back because I promised I would. I left behind someone important on this filthy planet. I didn’t think there’d be anyone who could understand me the way you do. Even for a goldfish…” He sighed, tired of pretending like his past never happened. “I had nothing to live for when I was a human—no real place to belong. I became the Minister of Punishments to cleanse the world of filth, but I can’t do this job completely right either if I’m still letting people like you suffer.” He paused, his eyes trailing over the clean, white bandages. “I thought it was my fault.”
“It wasn’t,” I defended him, not wanting him to hate himself for something he didn’t cause. “I’m a stupid human. I just- I wanted-”
“I told you, you don’t need to explain it. Especially if you’re not ready to talk about it.”
I silently stared at him, but he noticed the tears that were gathering at the corner of my eye. He was just in time to catch it as it fell, wiping it away before it could fall down my cheek. “But you already know.”
“Yeah,” he admitted as if it weren’t anything to be ashamed of. This was an example of what it meant to share the same brain-cell, I guess. Seeing my quiet despondency, he said, “That’s why I’m not leaving again. I didn’t have anyone until they accepted me as a god. I dunno if you’ll ever have the same chance that I had, but you have stars in your eyes. So, if you feel you don’t have a place on this stupid planet, then I’ll give you one.”
“What?” My eye widened as I regarded him. He looked completely honest.
Without the harsh look on his face, he looked softer. It tempted me to ask him if he was really Scorpio. “You want a place to belong,” he said, his hand gently covering mine. “You can belong with me. You need someone who’s gonna understand you. I… I also like having someone who understands me.”
I couldn’t respond with how tight my throat began to feel. I wanted to say yes, but I wasn’t sure that I should. It couldn’t have been appropriate for a god and a human-
I froze as he leaned over, wrapping his arms around me as he held me close to him. Gently, he caressed my head. Whispering softly, he said, “You don’t have to answer that right now either. I’m sorry for making you feel overwhelmed when you’re still recovering. Just… promise you’ll come to me before thinking about trying to leave me again?”
Sniffling, I buried my face into his shoulder, my hands feebly grasping at his shirt. “Yeah… I promise. I pro-omise. I’m sorry.”
“Hey,” he grumbled, his harsh expression returning as he tried to wipe away my tears again and put a stop to my hiccupping. “You can’t start crying on me. That smart guy’s gonna get mad and blame me if you mess up your bandages. You need to get some more rest.” Despite his scolding, his eyes remained with that soft look. His hand caressed my head, and he sighed with a small smile. He was going to leave out the fact that his powers grew thanks to me and he could feel the entire spectrum of my emotions now. I didn’t need to know that he knew I loved him yet. He’d save that mushy stuff for when I was truly feeling better. In the meantime, he would not be leaving my side.
Relaxing beside me, he made sure I was comfortable and secure in his arms as he let me drift back off to sleep. He’d save me as many times as he needed in order to keep me beside him.

Date night (Huedhaut)
Request, I am sorry but I’ve lost the message, as you do! but here you are,
Huedhaut from Star Crossed Myth.
this character was hard to write for, I don’t know much about these things,
hope it’s okay!
Tumblr media
Huedhaut sat on the edge of the bed while you were in getting a shower, he had insisted on joining you a few times, teasingly, but you turned him down.  Huedhaut had arrived earlier than planned, hence why you still weren’t ready.
It had been a while since the god had been down on earth, work had kept him busy.  So you were pretty excited rushing through your routine.  Huedhaut called into you, seeing what was taking so long, but his tone was teasing.
“I’m just out the shower” you called back.  A moment of silence was followed by a snapping sound, Huedhaut had clicked his fingers and suddenly you were dry.
“Thank you!” you chirped back. Now all you had to do now was fix your hair and put your clothes on.
You decided not to do too much to your hair, Huedhaut preferred simplicity, thats why you went with the classic black dress, low heels, and minimal accessories.  A quick look in the mirror and you opened the door to the bathroom.  Huedhaut was staring out of the window at the darkening skies, but as soon as he heard the door unlock his head spun around.  His face froze, but he snapped back to himself quickly, smiling warmly.  You were waiting for a snarky comment, but all that came out of his mouth was sweet words.
“You’re Beautiful” it was simple but boy did it cause your cheeks to heat up.  He walked up to you, placing his hands on your hips.   You thought he was going in for a kiss.
“I’m going to have to keep a particularly good eye on you” he started “Or you’d end up breaking your ankle in those shoes” and there was the snarky comment.  You faked pouted only for Huedhaut to finally close the gap between you kissing you quickly, before pulling away.
“Ready then?” he asked, you grabbed your bag, then took Huedhauts outstretched hand.  The two of you were going out to dinner in a fancy restaurant.
With a snap of his fingers, you two arrived nearby.  The ground floor was pretty much just a basic lobby, with a lift.  Like a hotel.  The restaurant itself was on the top floor.  It was open dining, with a magical view of the city and the otherworldly view of the stars.  A young girl leads the two of you to your seat by the glass fence.  Huedhaut pulled out your chair letting you sit down, before taking his own seat facing you.  The young waitress gawked at Huedhauts handsome face and beautiful suit, he really did look amazing right now.  Perhaps better than the view around you and the fact other woman and some men were glancing over to him didn’t faze you at all.  He was yours, you knew that.  After the waitress took your drinks order Huedhaut turned to you.
“Enjoying the view?” Huedhaut smirked.  You knew what he meant. Causing a blush to form on your face.  A satisfying smiling appeared on his face, hiding it behind the menu.
The waitress quickly returned with your drinks, then asked if you were ready to eat, you had picked out something, but the prices were so high, you were hesitant to pick anything.
Huedhaut asked the waitress for more time, throwing a teasing comment aimed at you.  The waitress stared a moment, out of awe before what he had said settled into her head.  She smiled at him before leaving, pretty much ignoring you completely, but you still didn’t mind, Huedhaut was looking at you, you may not see stars in his eyes, but you saw something, that was always aimed at you.
“Not hungry? You love food” he asked.  Huedhaut noticed your hesitation when ordering.
“Oh, it’s not that, I just” you paused, looked around then whispered “everything is so expensive”
Huedhaut chuckled.
“I am a God, remember” he noted.  “Order whatever you want”
You checked his expression, but it wasn’t telling.
You looked back at the menu picking something you would like but also something that was cheap.  This wasn’t the kind of place you would ever visit on your own but did want to try something new too.  You had decided and just in time as the waitress came over.  Once again her attention was pretty much solely on Huedhaut, but you managed to place your order.
You took a sip of the wine in front of you, the taste was sweet.
“Better than mine?” Huedhaut asked teasingly. “Never” you returned smiling warmly.  You turned your attention to the scenery.  From this height, you got a great view of the city lights, that resembled the stars about.
“It’s so beautiful here, I didn’t know it even existed” you expressed.  Huedhaut naturally replied with a sarcastic comment.  You were going to return it, but the waitress returned with your food.  It smelt delicious and looked even better.  Your expression seemed to amuse Huedhaut.
“You really do love food more than anything don’t you” he teased.
“Not more than you” you replied, blushing, but you had hoped to get him back.  Sure enough, Huedhauts cheeks flushed crimson.
“You always say such cute things when you drink” he noted.  It wasn’t the drink talking, it was all you.  When you told him that, his blush deepened.
You quickly tucked into your food satisfied, only to be hit with an explosion of flavour.  It was wonderful. Huedhaut tucked into his own food and before long the food was gone.  It was so filling.   The glass of wine was now done, but you knew not to have another.  You wanted to make sure your head was completely clear to spend it with Huedhaut.  The two of you decided to skip dessert not wanting to linger there much longer.  Huedhaut wanted to spend alone time together.  Somewhere else, far away from people.
Once outside, Huedhaut grabbed you suddenly, pulling your back to his chest.  He snapped his fingers and the next thing you knew you were floating high about the buildings, higher than you were at the restaurant.  You weren’t afraid like before, you knew Huedhaut wasn’t going to let go.  Huedhaut tightened his grip around you, burying his face into your hair.
“I’ve missed you” he mumbled.
“I missed you too” you returned, smiling to yourself.
After a while Huedhaut lowered you both, landing on your balcony.  You couldn’t wait to get out of the heels you were wearing they weren’t high but they were hurting.  You had only just stood back up when Huedhuat pulled you into a very passionate kiss, it left you completely breathless, you had barely got it back before the god kissed you again.  You hadn’t noticed until the bed hit the back of your legs that he was walking you backwards.  He gently lowered down, climbing on top of you.  Your body was heating up as Huedhauts hands around your body.  You really did miss him.
Morning came too quickly for your liking, the bright sun shone through the open curtains, thanks to last nights activities, you hadn’t the chance to close them.  You groaned turning around, just hear a chuckle.  Huedhaut laid beside you.
“You’re awake then, I thought you were going to sleep all day I guess I tried you out” he teased.  You blushed, burying your face into his chest.  Embarrassed by his comment, though your body was a tried and a little sore, but in a good way.
“It’s so bright” you complained.
Huedhaut kindly closed the curtains for you.  Blocking the light.
Together, the two of you spent the day, snuggling in bed, only leaving it when you needed to eat.

cannot believe that voltage has the absolute gall to give us “it has nothing to do with my memory. in the end, i'll always choose you / it has nothing to do with memory whether it's instinct, emotion, or connection i'd still choose you” lines in the very same app where they nominated for the title character a man who betrays his best friend by sleeping with and impregnating the love of his best friend’s life, the woman he was supposed to be with in every lifetime they live
disgraceful. why would they do hue so dirty like this

so for a long ass time I only played Huedhaut, he was the first god I chose when the game first came out bcuz i liked that he was nice and his hair was cool. When I rediscovered the game I also again only played Huedhaut for a few months.
Huedhaut is still one of my favs and his route is pretty mundane compared to the others, its very fairytale romance the plot builds up slowly and nothing happens until MC goes into the lake and remembers Clotho, then life and death scenarios happen at the end. I thought all the other stories were like this where its fairly calm
Then I played Ikky, Scorpio, and Dui
tw topics discussed
Tumblr media
I got WHIPLASH going from Huedhaut's 'maybe we were lovers in a past life maybe we're not' to child soldiers war brutalization, suicide attempts/mental health, and mortality plotlines in their stories
I still do not know how to feel about Dui's story like I am BEGGING voltage to release a follow up story to this day about Dui just having a good day he has gone through so much. This isnt about the mc romance with dui, its the IS DUI OKAY. DOES HE KEEP THE CAT HE ADOPTED IN HIS S1 I NEED ANSWERS
also i have a karno/leon meme coming out I just need to work on it sobbing I need to go back to memeposting

I lied to myself
I’ve read all the gods and I have the final rankings of who’s my favorite and alas......Leon is still number one. I thought the king got bumped down a peg or two.
I should never have thought such blasphemous thoughts. He didn’t agree and came back in FULL force.
So here’s my Star Crossed Myth favs in order.
Leon
Ichthys
Krioff
Aigonorus (He’s baby)
Dui
Huedhaut
Karno
Scorpio
Partheno
Tauxolouve
Teorus
Zyglavis (sorry bb ☹️)
Also out of boredom I’m making them all Spotify playlists from songs I listen to (which should be linked in their names but who knows tumblr is broken as all shit and I did this on mobile) so that’s a fun thing to follow if you like that I guess idk

The Goddess That Defied Fate [Huedhaut x OC] Chapter 11
Shiro felt the oppressing air of the dimensional zone. It wasn’t as hard to breathe as it would have been if she had been fully human. She felt it then. Hue’s power. He followed her here. She took off running.
“Hue!”
Hue appeared before her. “Why did you call my name?”
“Isn’t that obvious? I don’t want you to die.”
Hue picked her up into his arms. As she closed her eyes and inhaled his scent while he carried her, a memory flashed to the forefront of her mind. But it wasn’t hers; It was Hue’s.
In front of the reflecting pool, after she had died. He seemed so sad.
“You were always, always so reckless. Throwing away your life… What a stupid thing to do.” Throwing away her life? She didn’t throw it away. “But I loved that about you. You had a strength that I never had.” The water rippled, images of scenes on Earth reflected on the pool’s surface. “You really were an incredible goddess of fate. You’re the reason the Earth is doing so well now.” His quiet voice changed. The sound of him slapping the surface of the water echoed in the air. “But who cares if the world continues on? Without you, it’s meaningless. Why did just you have to be sacrificed?! Why did you have to smile like that and insist on going? Why…? If you were alive, you’d probably laugh at me and call me a fool. But… I don’t care,” he said, slowly lowering his eyes to look back down at the water. “You became a sacrifice for the Earth… But… I’ll sacrifice anything, pay anything to keep your soul from being destroyed. As long as your soul lives on…” Shiro gasped, her eyes widening as she realised what it was that she was witnessing. This wasn’t just any memory; this was the memory of him using forbidden magic to save her soul. The second his hand touched his left eye, everything was enveloped in a blinding light. Hue screamed in pain.
“Lord Huedhaut?! What are you doing?!”
“Your left eye… No… This light has the power to interfere with life and death!”
“Someone call Lord Leon! The wise man, Lord Huedhaut, he’s—” Gods crowded around him. It was a gruesome sight. Hue’s devastating sadness, his determination. She did this. This was her fault. With the stars in his left eye, he pulled her soul back from the brink as it was about to disappear.
Shiro opened her eyes and found herself next to the reflecting pool in the heavens.
“Hue…” she choked out.
“You… What in the world are you doing? Travelling through a different dimensional zone to reach me. That was not a sane thing to do.” Shiro chuckled as she got up and stumbled forward. “Don’t move. You really did a number on your body.” She didn’t listen to him, instead running at full force and throwing her arms around him.
“I can’t let you die,” she said. Shiro slowly looked down at the reflecting pool. Just like before, she saw the world she loved in complete chaos.
“This is all my fault. Being with me took you back to our past. And now, even your power has returned…”
“None of this is your fault,” Shiro said.
“The nonstop rain is affecting Earth in a variety of ways. If it continues, ecosystems will start to fail. It will lead to Earth’s destruction. I will take responsibility for everything.”
“Hue, my powers didn’t come back because I never lost them in the first place,” she told him. Hue’s eyes widened and Shiro softly touched his hair. His hair, the gentle, all-encompassing blue of the night sky. “This isn’t your fault, and you don’t have to do this by yourself. You’re always so awkward and you don’t rely on other people.”
“Not everyone is as good with people as you are.”
“I like that you’re awkward, and I don’t mind that you can be hard to understand sometimes, and I love your gentle nature, too. I don’t want you to disappear.” She coughed.
“You’re really exhausted, aren’t you?” Hue held her hand.
She shook her head. “I’ll recover.” She smiled up at him. “I really missed you, Hue.”
“You really are a fool, Shiro. I should know. I’ve been watching you the whole time.”
“You never came to see me.”
“Shiro.” Hue smiled. As he quietly wiped her wet cheeks, he spoke, “I still have the stars in my right eye. As long as I have them, I can fix anything.”
“You can’t! If you use the stars in your right eye, you’ll cease to be a god. You’ll die.” Fresh tears streamed down her cheeks.
“I can’t allow you to do that.” Shiro wasn’t at all surprised to hear that voice.
She turned around. “Zyglavis.” She knew he’d follow her here.
“The situation has changed. The power this human possesses is stronger than I thought,” Zyglavis said.
“What do you mean?” Hue asked.
“Look into the reflecting pool. The Earth is in a crisis, and she’s not even there now. She’s affecting the entire planet negatively just by being alive. I don’t have another second to waste. Give me the girl, Huedhaut.”
“Do I look like I’m about to say, ‘Yes, sir!’ and hand her over? I don’t need another arrogant minister in my life. Leon is enough.”
“So you’re going to mutilate your other eye? She said it herself. If you lose the stars in both your eyes, you will die.”
“Maybe so, but that doesn’t change my mind,” Hue replied.
“What a fool. I thought you were an intelligent god. I was mistaken.”
“I don’t care what you say.”
Zyglavis’s voice boomed. “The former goddess laid down her life for the humans… Now, you’re going to lay down your life to save the goddess’s soul. Following in her footsteps? And on top of all that, you’re trying to lose another eye in front of the same fountain where you lost the last one. Wise man of the heavens, I wonder how much of this future you knew would come to pass.” His words were like a splash of cold water.
“You knew this was going to happen?” Shiro asked, looking at Hue.
“I suspected it might. My ability to see the future has its limits. I can’t see the future as it pertains to life and death. If I saw that… I’d want to use what I saw to change things,” Hue answered.
“You both want to protect each other… Ridiculous,” Zyglavis said.
“No matter what Zyglavis says, I will win this fight. I won’t let you die,” Hue told her.
“I’ve heard the pain of pulling the stars from your eyes is like torture. It’s madness, Huedhaut. This time, though, I’ll stop you before you’re able to experience that excruciating pain,” Zyglavis said.
“My, my. You never get tired of your own voice, do you, Zyglavis?” Shiro gasped and looked to the side.
“Kuro. You plan to stand in the way too, I see.” Zyglavis glared at her where she leaned against one of the pillars.
Kuro scoffed. “I bargained with the king when I became a goddess to be able to still see my sister. Do you really think I’d stand by while you try to kill her?”
“Ridiculous.” While Zyglavis was distracted by Kuro’s presence, Shiro felt the divine power from Hue emanating throughout the space. He held her from behind, his form changing.
“I’ve decided to protect you this time, even if you hate me for it.” Glowing with power in his god form, Hue reached for his right eye.
“I won’t let you!” Another gale, stronger than before, radiated from her body. “I love you too much, Hue! I won’t let you die!!” Golden light surrounded her as she tapped into her godly power. This wasn’t the end. She wouldn’t let it be the end.
