Hi! Forgive me if I am bothering you, but I had an ask and I wanted to send it in before I forget about it. My Ask is this: How would Fleur react upon meeting the Louve of Gryffindor (Hermione's Unofficial Nickname around Hogwarts) transformed in the forest for the first time? Was she slightly scared or did she know who and what Hermione was to her? What was Hermione's reaction?

I feel like in this AU, Fleur would have already had her suspicions. Apart from the amount of scars she's seen on Hermione, Fleur probably can sense that there's something different about Hermione's magic. I don't know exactly how Hermione would have gotten the werewolf's curse, I'm not that well versed in that part of HP lore, but Fleur's more naturally in tune with magic and so I imagine she has better instinct when it comes to figuring out another witch's or wizard's magical aura. She would have been a bit surprised that Hermione, of all people, is a werewolf, but not afraid. Fleur is part Veela in the AU (she can transform into one), and I think that puts her in equal footing if she does happen to stumble into the wolf in the forest for the first time. She'd also know A LOT about werewolves, since she's basically a bookworm herself. At least, in this AU.

As for Hermione's reaction, I think she'd be freaking out. She's a planner, and so if something unexpected like this were to happen, she'd definitely be caught off guard. I like to think that she would have kept the werewolf as a well-guarded secret, for fear of... well, a number of things. Or maybe it's an open secret. The last thing she wants is to hurt anyone, let alone her soulmate but what surprised her is how calm the wolf had been (for a werewolf raging in the full moon), the moment it saw Fleur.

Hermione probably didn't expect to wake up back in her dorm room, safe and sound, with Fleur Delacour worriedly gnawing at her nails down at the Gryffindor common room, waiting for her to wake up. They both know that they're soulmates, Fleur knows Hermione's secret, and Hermione can piece things together of what happened that night: Fleur waited out the full moon, and snuck Hermione back into the Gryffindor dorm rooms. It's a first for Hermione, since she usually just sneaks back herself after missing a few morning classes if the full moon happened on a school night (yikes). So, that morning, they just kind of stand there, in the Gryffindor common room, Hermione's just woken up, and Fleur's worried, and everyone else is going about their own business, with no idea of what's going on. It's like they're on a world of their own, and they need to figure out how to make things work.

What oc most occupies your thoughts right now and what are they like?

Rigby and Siomari! Actually they've been here nonstop since 2019 I believe? They've been around for a while, and even if I jumped interests, I always think back to these two since I adore my time developing their design and characteristics, even now!

For Rigby, she's quite a hot head/energetic energy that she has most of the time but tries her best to be kind to others, although a friendship with another person might say otherwise (on the outside)

Now for Siomari, it's kinda hard to spell out for what words best describes her but I think that's part of the fun when it comes to writing her and her concepts, but if I could try, I'd say she's trying her best to float by with circumstances at hand

2017? Rigby was literally a shounen character that you would see in a sequel series (there was supposed to be another character that acted as a mentor type that came from the earlier parts of the story)

2018-9? Siomari was an artist/archeologist that found Rigby somewhere (actually I think I still have the drawing where she was just an artist)

you're in the habit of denying yourself things.

if someone asked you directly, you would say that you love a little treat. you like iced coffee and getting the cookie. you drink juice out of a fancy cup sometimes, and often do use your candles until they gutter out helplessly.

but you hesitate about buying the 20 dollar hand mixer because, like. you could just use your arms. you weren't raised rich. you don't get to just spend the 20 dollars (remember when that could cover lunch?), at least - you don't spend that without agonizing over it first, trying to figure out the cost-benefits like you are defending yourself in front of a jury. yes, this rice cooker could seriously help you. but you do know how to make stovetop rice and it really isn't that hard. how many pies or brownies would you actually make, in order to make that hand mixer worthwhile?

what's wild is that if the money was for a friend, it would already be spent. you'd fork over 40 without blinking an eye, just to make them happy. the difference is that it's for you, so you need to justify it.

and it sneaks in. you ration yourself without meaning to - you don't finish the pint of ice cream, even though you want to. the next time you go to the store, you say ah, i really shouldn't, and then you walk away. you save little bits of your precious things - just in case. sometimes you even go so far as putting that one thing in your shopping cart. and then just leaving it there, because maybe-one-day, but not right now, there's other stuff going on.

you do self-care, of course. but you don't do it more than like, 3 days in a row. after that it just feels a little bit over-the-edge. like. you can't live in decadence, the economy is so bad right now, kid.

so you don't buy the rice cooker. you can-and-will spend the time over the stove. you can withstand the little sorrows. denial and discipline are practically synonyms. and you're not spoiled.

it's just - it's not always a rice cooker. sometimes it is a person or a job or a hug. sometimes it is asking for help. sometimes it is the summer and your college degree. sometimes it is looking down at scabbed knees and feeling a strange kind of falling, like you can't even recognize the girl you used to be. sometimes it is your handprint looking unsteady.

sometimes it is tuesday, and you didn't get fired, and you want to celebrate. but what is it you like, even? you search around your little heart and come up empty. you're so used to denying that all your desires draw a blank.

oh fuck. see, this is the perfect opportunity. if you had a mixer, you'd make a cake.

sometimes I get sad when I think about all the people who are missing out on the pleasures of life only because they've decided it wasn't for them before they even gave it a shot :(
