I don't have anything big to offer on Animaniacs' 30th anniversary, but I don't think I need anything like that. I wanted to at least say something on the day itself.

Animaniacs has truly had an indescribable impact on me. All the connections I've made and the passion I've felt, my life would be completely different without it. I'd be a different person. I can't even begin to imagine where I'd be.

And to think that, if I had simply decided not to check out the reboot for this 90's show I'd never watched, I'd have missed out on all of it. Tiny moments and decisions in your life can completely change your trajectory. It's a good thing I'm a sucker for nostalgia that isn't even mine :)

It may just be a silly cartoon at the end of the day, but its impact on me is immeasurable. I truly love the characters- Yakko Wakko and Dot are just incredible on every level. Just seeing them (especially Wakko) opens a tunnel straight to my heart. I love the friends I've made and I love all of you. It's such a gift to be able to express my creativity, my silly thoughts, and have them actually be accepted and appreciated by others. I never have to wake up wondering if I've had an impact on the world or trying to find my place. I've found it. No matter what else goes on in my "real" life, I always have something driving me forward. I can't even begin to express how important that is.

I'm so glad Animaniacs exists. I'm so glad all of you are fans too. Whether it's here or elsewhere, keep creating and showing the world what you can do! The creativity you have inside you is so valuable. Everyone has so much to offer. You shouldn't ever doubt that.

I refreshed my memory of the VLD comics today and … boy, the art was really struggling by the end there, huh? Honestly, the one issue of Voltron Force I read had much higher production value than the last volume of this series.

Actually the thing with Tommy Boleyn-Tudor-Cromwell my beloved is that it’s really really hard for him to like, Not Be Self Sacrificing And Let People Help Him (specifically him - he’ll absolutely take help in the service of other people) because at base, he’s worried he isn’t living up the expectations of the image of Tudor Kings (which this is a good thing my sweet wise kind gentle disney princess) and especially his father).

(People whisper about how he’s faithful to his wife and seemingly just not interested in anyone else romantically and it’s true - Tommy is Thee Most Demisexual but it’s for one person)

Because he has to see that actually, you need to let people help you that it hurts when you don’t because they care about it and they think that it means you don’t trust them.

(So that’s his flaw(s) I just worked it out. Also that he did kind of set impossible standards of being a ruler/leader and also a person but that was not in fact his fault but it’s still a Thing for his oldest)

the cookie run ovenbreak valentine’s day costume being only for the cookie of the year winner is awful as someone who’s fav would look perfect with the whole pink and brown color combo they’ve been doing for these costumes but would NEVER get a chance to win cookie of the year 😭

I know it's annoying but I'm not done thinking about Pokémon, especially Pokémon Legends Arceus. Like the game is already a breath of fresh air in the franchise but what's really frustrating is that I know it could have been the best pokemon game of all time if capitalism wasn't a thing and the Pokémon company let their developers actual time to make good games, rather than prioritizing the numbers of game coming out in short time.

Like they really really didn't need to have the 9th generation coming out this year, Legends Arceus could have had DLCs and I know people would have been all over it.

More than anything though, if Gamefreak developpers had as much time and means for Legends Arceus as the Legend of Zelda team had for Breath of the Wild, there would have been no need for a 9th generation to come out the following months it would have probably made enormous sales

I would rather wait for a well developed game that take me hours to finish then one that was barely scrapped together so the next one could be produced and so on.

watching soul eater again now that im older and took a break from being obsessed with it, i can fucking say that this show is unhinged on both theme AND comedy . the SE world is so serious but it's also so fucking hilarious bc every other show interprets excalibur as some holy and strong and legendary weapon EXCEPT THIS SHOW
