In a world where finding your love will give you all the colors that are in the world. But if one partner were to die all the colors in the world will fade back to black and white.
Today is as normal as it’s always been. Waking up seeing him still lay next to me as I smile. Then the smile on my face fades as I rush to the bathroom with my head over the toilet vomiting. Slowly getting up and flushing the toilet. Taking glances over the bed to see him still there. The colors around us were so pretty. Then to look at me with a smile. Hearing a phone. Walking back into the room to see his phone ringing. George,’ I start to shake him as he stays asleep a little longer. ‘George come on you gotta get up.’ He turns to his side as he sees me rubbing his eyes. ‘Someone calling you,’ he gives a nod starting to sit up as he answers. Hearing his side of the call. It sounds like he will be busy today. So I decided to text some of my friends to make plans. ‘Sounds like I’m gonna be busy today babe,’ he looks over at me as I nod. ‘What time would you have to leave,’ He glances at his phone at me. ‘About 45 minutes but it takes like 25 minutes to get there so I will just get ready right now.’ He gets out of bed and I start to change as well. ‘Do you have any plans,’ turning my head to see him brushing his teeth. ‘I do I’m gonna have some lunch with friends.’
After leaving the house, I made it to where we were eating as we all talked about everything. While more friends join us. With some getting engaged and others expecting kids. George and I wanted to take it slow. But recently, I’ve been eating more. Throwing up in the morning. I didn’t want to get excited if this was just like something bad I act so I didn’t think much of it.
With George, he met up with his friends and other people that work in the company. George was keeping this a secret from y/n that he is ready to settle down and start a family with her. The boys were there because he just wanted them there honestly. They have gotten the ring size and the type of ring y/n would like. He was so excited to ask y/n. Once he finalized the purchase they hugged him. Now all he had to do was pop the question and make it official. He look at the ring one more time with a smile on his face. Bringing his phone out to text y/n that he loves them. But he never sent it. Telling his friends that he was leaving. He made his way to his car. Unlocking it getting inside his car. Fixing the mirror till there was a man in the back of his car with a gun. ‘Just give me what you have and I will leave you alone,’ that is what he heard. His body froze. He brought out everything that he had on him. The man in the back wasn’t impressed and was not happy about any of it. Till he notice that box. He lean over to open it and then looked at the front of the mirror. ‘Planning on proposing,’ George just stared back at him with a nod. ‘Such a shame you wouldn’t be there to ask.’
The lunch with them was ending as we made it to the front of the building walking to our cars. Saying goodbye to each of them the color of my eyes started to fade. Staying still. I wished it wasn’t true. One noticed and started to shake me, ‘y/n you okay?’ But the words from her mouth I couldn’t hear them. It was like in the movies. The only thing I did hear was ringing on my phone to see Dream calling. I answer. ‘Y/n! You need to come to the hospital it’s George! He got shot in the car it’s not looking good y/n please hurry,’ I stay still as I hear Dream trying to see if I would answer dropping my phone I tried to my car. The cars were slowly going to various greys. I found my car after 2 minutes. My friends were calling me. I drove off rushing to the hospital. Not stopping at signs. Rushing in yellow lights. Till I notice a hospital. Finding a spot. Turning off the car I rush in looking for Sapnap and Dream anywhere till I hear someone calling me. To see them waving their hands. ‘Did they tell you anything yet? Was he still alive? Was he breathing?’ Before one could answer a Doctor arrived, ‘for George,’ turning over to see him with a nod, ‘Ma’am I’m very sorry but he when he got here.’ The color was permanent. The colors were now black, grey, and white. My body started to feel weak that’s when I fell. Only seeing a light.
Waking up to see I was still at the hospital to see Dream and Sapnap with Hannah and Sylvee. Not knowing when they got here. To remember what happened before we got here. Feeling someone sit on my bed I turn my head to see him. ‘George’ I whisper as he nods bringing up my hand so he can kiss it. But the colors for me weren’t all the colors in the world just 3 plain colors. ‘You aren’t really here are you?’ My voice was shaking. He nods once more. ‘I love you sweetheart so much and I want you to know that before I go. You need to live your life with our child okay.’ He placed a hand on my cheek as I nod. I didn’t want him to go. To hear a knock on the door of the doctor. I turned to see where he was but he was gone. Everyone woke up then the doctor walked in with a smile. ‘How are you feeling y/n?’ He questioned as I give a small nod. ‘Well y/n I don’t know how else’s to it but while you were unconscious we took some tests and we would like you to know that you are 7 weeks pregnant.’ I feel my stomach as I remember once more what George says as I cry softly.
