(gosh I hope that comic is at least readable- Ignore all the inconsistencies, I've never drawn and colored a comic before 😭) Anyways- meet the heroes of yore! sort of... you get to know what they look like at least!
Im finally getting around to publicly sharing some tidbits of lore with yall! Originally the "heroes of yore" spiel Galacta reads was going to be just text but I thought people would probably like it a little better if there was a comic to accompany it!
and im. not sure how to end this post?? I suppose I can say that Meta and Galacta Knight are open for asks!!! Im hoping I can keep the energy to keep this thing going, but only time will tell!

Guys, this is Meta Knight's song... it fits him perfectly!
This scene takes place around the time of Garlude's death...
Due to MK's reputation & everyone's prejudice against him being part demon. Many rumors spread that he ran away from the fight or he had jinxed her... Meta Knight couldn't help but blame himself.
Things have just been getting harder... and he was just getting so tired of losing people... which got him to think of something... something awful...
However, Jecra wouldn't allow it... he had no desire to see Meta Knight sacrificing himself... thankfully, he talked to him before he even got the chance to...

MK: But you all have homes and families to return to... Oh no... Garlude had a daughter, right? And I... Jec I should hav-

Finally, Meta Knight allows himself to cry in Jecra's arms and mourn the death of their friend...

LORE TIME BABY!
Since the betrayal of Yamikage & the disappearance of the Ancients (the only people who had the power to reign him in), the GSA was now on the brink of ruin... Due to the lack of soldiers, everyone was spread out thin. This was when Uther reached his peak madness...
Similar to MK & Garlude... Sir Arthur & a small group (higher-ups who had some sort of moral code left) were sent out on a crusade to find the legendary sword Excalibur. (Which I will get into later...)
But in truth, these were all just "fool's errands" and were just ploys to get those who opposed him to be killed. And with Sir Arthur gone...(presumably dead), no one had free reign of the GSA...
Uther took this as an opportunity to cut Meta Knight's unit in half... putting them in squadrons that would surely use them as death fodder. Meta Knight loved his everyone squadron... he couldn't change the order... so he did something else.
Every time someone from the other half of his unit was dragged out to fight, he'd volunteer to go with them. Sir Uther used his affection for his team against him... (hoping he would die out there...)
(He tried to pull the same trick with Galaxia, and he was supremely pissed that MK came out alive... )
Meta kept sacrificing so much of himself to keep Jecra and his squadron safe... So many of his friends were dying now... and were forced to be scattered about. He couldn't save all of them (he couldn't be in two places at once...); now Garlude and his mentor were gone.
So yeah MK was already in a bad place... Garlude's death was just the cherry on top...
This brings us to this... "what if he became the monster", Meta Knight contemplates whether or not he should allow himself to unleash untapped power... and use his dark magic.
I can't say that much (because of spoilers), but he has a connection with Nightmare that allows him to tap into his pool of power... everyone in the GSA knew of his wings, but only his team (Team Halberd) knew of this connection of with Nightmare.
They knew he was playing with some dangerous forces...
But for those of you who were wondering what Meta Knight meant in the previous chapter in "Had I not tried to play the hero back then…... Perhaps this is my punishment..."
It's referring to this... Meta Knight does eventually go berserk after the death of Jecra! It was to protect the remaining people in his squadron... but it was all for not... they all still ended up dying.
But ultimately it was these powers that allowed Meta Knight to be the only one of the only survivors of the war... though he paid a terrible price because of it.
For those of you who were keeping up with the previous post... it was Jecra (Knuckle Joe's father).
I'm not going to confirm anything just yet, but Jecra was Meta Knight's right-hand man... his rock... his person... <3: Feel free to use this as shipping fodder... (MetaxJecra)
There's gonna be more lore-dumping before the next chapter 2-3 weeks until the next chapter. (which means more Jecra)

AITA for how I reacted when my friend group fell apart?
For context I (16x) used to be in a decent friend group with around 3-4 other people, we'll call them C (18m), A (17m/x), J (17m/x) and H (16m) We're all in highschool and used to be very close.
When we first came back from the pandemic, some old middle school friends of mine introduced me to A and J, H was friends with my ex step cousin, and C was in GSA and DnD with us. We clicked quickly and were thick as thieves. We had other friends as well who came and went for many reasons, but we were the ones that stuck.
In the summer of my freshman year, last year, things took a turn that would ultimately lead to the end of the friend group. A and I had dated from September to February of that school year, and I'd ended things because of some realizations, but we were still close. We all had a discord group chat/server we'd all talk in, with our own channels and everything. Well, A was never on, they were terrible at communication, J didn't talk much and neither did H, and C and I were very close at the time, almost like siblings.
When summer hit, C just.. stopped communication. as time went on and i continued to ramble in my channel about my most recent interests and/or try to get someone to interact with me. C would only respond if it was about them, how they were doing, or their interests. I would often pop into their channel to ask them about their interests though, and when they texted me after i left discord it was immediately about them again. Before we left for winter break of my sophomore year, it only got worse. We would play Uno at lunch and A had a habit of trauma dumping and venting and not listening to anyone else. C and I agreed this was bad, but then C began to message me to talk about A behind his back. At the time I was stupid and didn't say anything to A, but I regret it now.
This last school year, i finally split off. Everyone had been growing toxic (A and C) and distant and my depression was getting worse, which to my brain meant time to isolate. I distanced myself with an excuse of not feeling well and left all servers we were in together, abandoned discord all together, and didn't explain anything to anyone. I had texted A a while back explaining my issue with their behavior, but they hadn't changed, and I later messaged C and explained very vaguely what it was. I wish I had said more or reached out to H and J, so that they would know why I left and I could have that peace of mind, but that's not what happened.
I don't regret leaving often, but i do regret it sometimes when i think back. I owe H and J a better explanation, and i constantly wonder if it's my fault we all fell apart.

A trans teacher who let his classroom be a safe space for the TQ+ type let students literally hump each other in class. And for being the “cool” teacher the students called him “Mom”.
A trans-identified male high school teacher in Anne Arundel County, Maryland has been placed on indefinite leave after troubling information surfaced regarding his conduct with students.
Willa Hoard, also known as “Billie” was a social studies teacher at Chesapeake High School and ran the school’s GSA (Gay-Straight Alliance) Organization. On October 3, he was placed on indefinite leave by the school, with few details provided to parents at the time.
But on November 2, disturbing video footage began circulating on Twitter from inside Hoard’s classroom. The videos originated on Facebook, first posted by a concerned mother.
In one video, two students are seen laying on the ground together, with one grinding on or humping the other in the middle of a class lecture. Another clip shows one student sucking at the stomach of another student. Both clips took place while Hoard was present in the room, apparently unconcerned by the behavior.
Hoard’s classroom was labelled a “safe space” for “LGBTQ+ students” by the school at the direction of the GSA. So whether a student was in class or not, if they reported to a teacher that they needed a “safe space,” they could go to Hoard’s classroom.
But the sexual behavior Hoard allowed in his class was just one of many disturbing components of the story. Hoard had apparently been communicating with students through unmonitored channels, in flagrant violation of safeguarding ethics. In some screenshots, students are seen referring to Hoard as “mom” or “mother.”
At least one concerned parent had taken snaps of Discord and Instagram conversations she found of Hoard having with students to school Principal J. Yore earlier this year, but nothing was reportedly done until the disturbing videos first began to circulate on Facebook.
On October 3, parents and guardians received a letterfrom Principal Yore who announced that Hoard would be “away from [the] building indefinitely.”
The letter failed to address the videos showing what had occurred during Hoard’s GSA meeting. While it stated a substitute who will provide “high-quality instruction and support” will be introduced, the letter did not contain any plan to guarantee student safeguarding, nor did it provide any indication of wrongdoing.
The news of Hoard’s extracurricular communication with students, as well as his leave, was first reported on by independent Maryland journalist Brian Griffiths on October 3.
According to Griffiths, Hoard had only begun transitioning earlier this year, and had previously gone under the name William Edward Hoard.
In a February Medium Post, Hoard wrote: “So it turns out I’m a woman. Surprise! I guess, to be more specific, I am a woman of the transgender variety. Which is to say that I am a woman who was mistaken for a little boy at birth, whose family and society ran with that since my body matched the expectations they had, first for a boy and later for a man, who only fully realized my own womanhood a few years ago and who is just now telling the world that-well intentioned as I am sure it was-we were all wrong about my gender.”
Griffiths also reported that a mother at the school who had clashed with Hoard over safeguarding concerns had been subjected to an attempted peace order as a result of her critiques.
Kristy Rush began publicly criticizing the school’s GSA after seeing posts threatening disciplinary repercussions for “deadnaming” and “misgendering” students or staff. According to Rush, the school had deemed “dead naming” a form of “sexual harassment,” and parents who confronted administration about the policy were told that disciplinary action for the listed offenses was discussed with the GSA and determined on a “case-by-case” basis.
As her daughter was a GSA member, Rush then went through her phone and computer out of concern.
She then found that Hoard had been communicating with his students on unofficial apps like Discord, Instagram, and Facebook. Rush withdrew her daughter from the school, reporting that after she joined the club “her behavior began to change.” Rush has also posted several statements regarding Hoard and the GSA on her Facebook, including videos of activity which allegedly occurred in Hoard’s classroom.
In one video Rush posed to her Facebook, a student wearing a banana costume and fishnets is seen dancing. The student’s underwear are clearly visible when she turns around. Rush also posted a video of students “humping” in a classroom during a GSA meeting. Both are the videos now circulating on Twitter.
It was after her vocal criticisms that Hoard then reportedly filed the peace order against Rush. The order was recently dismissed, but Rush has said that local LGBT activists labelled her and other parents who were concerned about Hoard “transphobic” at school board meetings.
According to Libs of TikTok, prior to being put on indefinite leave, Hoard had also encouraged student members of the GSA to call the police to conduct wellness checks on Rush’s daughter, Lulu.
Police reported to Rush’s homes on two separate instances as they had received calls that Lulu was suicidal and attempted to harm herself when she was merely sleeping.
Although Hoard is not allowed on school grounds, there has been speculation that students have maintained contact with him through private channels.
He remains active on TikTok and has apparently encouraged graduating students to message him directly on Instagram.

YOU. i've been wanting to send this ask for ages but even though i DID see it, i straight up deleted my tumblr blog about two weeks before you made that gsa poster (which i actively want to hang on my wall) and i am slamming my fists against the bathroom sink. because i waited this long to come back and i NEED to talk about this symbolism.
i want to say everyone's eyes being closed except for mk has something to do with metaphorical blindness but DAMNIT i don't know any of your gsa lore. i also cant place why everyone except mk is reaching for stars but i imagine by now it has something to do with mk being an outlier from the rest of them in some way because his positioning is just so distinct from the others when we combine these two elements. also. arthur is up to something and i am like 70% sure that cape has something to do with galacta knight because "purple feathers" is too hyper-specific of a thing to include just because. as the world's biggest arthur liker i could hypothesize about this all day but i know i'd probably be wrong so for now i am just Scared because the combination of the feathers and the expression is giving me lots of vibes and im not sure how to feel about them. you objectively draw dragato's ponytail better than basically everyone /j. send ask.

The way you have read into the poses ESPECIALLY the closed eyes and reaching for the stars... Meta Knight was a extremely intenional outlier. He is the only one with his eyes open, he isnt reaching for the stars, because he wears the stars on his sleve and has stars in his eyes; he needs his hands to hold his sword, and whereas the others are floating dreamily, Meta takes a solid stance. He is a very intentional outlier indeed. Not to mention his opposing placement from Sir Arthur. Whom you have made some verrrrry interesting observations about :)
Does the four point star on his helm and the light purple cape of feathers mean anything? :) Whos to say really, but you can trust your beloved GSA leader to fight for you. If you fight for him. He is the second most grounded character as far as posing goes, Yet he still has the dream-like quality to his movements. He is reaching for a star and yet he also wears the stars like he wears his feathered cape. Is he actually asleep like the rest of the GSA? Why would he be faking it?
Fun fact! Originally the caption was going to be something along the lines of "Star Warriors dream with our eyes closed". Also i listened to This Song often while drawing this.
This is a side note, but by chance were you the person who sent a request months and months ago to see the rest of my GSA designs? The ask dissapeared but the request was filled :D months later :D

Murder at Homecoming (Theory Major Spoiler Alert)
Since you have been warned..
This letter sounds like a parting letter than a romantic letter. Especially the "I can't thank you enough for making this happen." and why would call your lover Mr. Lewis? If he's really J.
I think the reason why Gabbie wanted to keep her relationship with J from everyone because according to Donovan their parents thinks she's the "Perfect Child" they wanted her to be, it is obvious that they have higher expectations for her. Also believe that Gabbie already told her parents about being gay and they didn't support her, from the line "It kills me to think how many people think what I've found is gross." maybe they threatened her to live by their rules as long as she's living under their roof, this would explain why she's doing illegal thing to save money instead of asking from her parents, she wanted to get away from her parents with J. That's the "Day of Freedom" the password of her diary all about. Which I believe May 31. (Assuming she gave that letter to Mr. Lewis on September 26 and prom day is in 247 from then)
Why would I think Gabbie is into girl? I have male MC, from chapter1 I pick the option with a dialogue similar to "We can skip homecoming have real fun instead." from a straight guy's perspective it has a double meaning and I believe Gabbie understood what I meant. She just shrugged it off and her response gave off the impression of girl telling me Dude-I'm-Not-Into-Men after hitting on them and the way she responded when Tyler asked Gabbie about male MC also giving the same vibe. This confirm after we found Stevie's bracelet and letter, which led me to believe that she used to be interested in Stevie until the rumor with Brett spread out. According to Stevie, Gabbie ditched her and they started talking again because of fake ID business. This is probably her motive why she had him arrested, to get back at Brett for what he did to Stevie. Do I need to mention the sexy photos of Claudia? How Brett hated Gabbie because she made Claudia dumped Brett while he was in juvie.
Don't you think it's weird that his parents would welcome him back if he ended his relationship with a student? I also think that Mr. Lewis and Gabbie met at the GSA(Gender & Sexuality Alliances) where he's a sponsor. I think his mom's letter and Gabbie's line "But then I think of you, and I have hope for the future." make me think maybe Mr. Lewis is just helping Gabbie dealing her unsupportive parents.
Additional theory Mr. Lewis is dating Jeremy.
Why would I think J is Joanna? If you remember what Joanna said at the funeral "A week ago she was alive, with HOPES and DREAMS, and PLANS." and start sobbing, like she knows her so well. I think Joanna's dialogue is a foreshadows of Gabbie's letter.
I don't think Joanna killed Gabbie tho, I still think April and Brett are the one blackmailing and killed Gabbie.
