My first painting this year. I am looking forward watching James in India on Prime, which is out this Friday! ～♡ (Actually I have to wait until Saturday, because I'll be in the cinema watching "The Boy and the Heron" this Friday…hehe… ^◡^)

For this picture I thought I should draw James at the Holi Festival (seconds before he's completely covered in colours), as this was my favourite scene of the trailer.

The particular alignment occurs once every 175 years. The two spacecraft that launched retained the same mission concept. It all started years ago when my son struggled learning the English language during sixth grade. We live in Germany and therefore German is our first language. The second language English is being taught from the fifth grade on.

The class had a very nice and loving teacher, but she was a bit absent-minded. When she was speaking and telling stories - She never really got to the point. So, the children had problems following her explanations. Incidentally, we parents had the same difficulties at several parents' evenings. And it was held in German our mother tongue.

I wanted to support my son. Because I was a single parent, I couldn't afford tutoring. I started looking for books in English that might interest him to get a feeling for the new language.

You know, one of my biggest wishes is to visit the Diddly Squat Farm Shop, buy anything which makes me happy and leave my Grand Tour comic and art book and paintings of mine there! But I know that won't happen, and so instead I've drawn a picture of Jezza at his farm.

Of all the cars he has driven (and in this case even owned), I think his Range Rover might be one of my favourites! *✦.° ★
