“Yeah Todoroki, I didn’t really think of you as the talking kind.” Deku says

“I was the one that met her first.” Todo says

“Let’s settle this like buisn-“ Tenya gets cut off by Mina

“I actually conversed with her before you MINA!” Ochako exclaims (she works jobs for her family is poor)

“Well Ochako, that sadly doesn’t count because you were working.” Momo said “But that also isn’t fair with you either Todoroki.” She said with a venomous lace

After that they had agreed they should share and not let anyone take them. But oh do if they figure out your parents you’d be an orphan.

Yeah in cannon, but basically Natsumi looks at the list Chloe's doing and is like hey I think Busiter list needs some tweaking but how about we don't but people on garbage duty because you don't like them. (Busiter does nothing as she has faith in Natsumi) They find Jagged room, he think's she's ghopher so now we get a sunglasses hunt. Fastfoward, Natsumi pushes the girl to just get Mari to do the commission much to Chloe's annoyance. Skip to the end where she get's the tickets and is like conflicted by the whole I didn't have to get my dad to get me this. Like not redemption but seeds of something that could be a better redemption. This whole au is very rough draft so anything is up to change

The hero and sepulchure’s relationship is the funniest shit

Like this rando shows up in his fortress a few times over the years, unfazed and a little too comfortable about being there. They know Gravelyn a little too well and are fine with looking after her, managing her shenanigans better than literally anyone under his command with a smile. They’re not even intimated by him, and has the audacity to speak with him causally. The only time when they’re thrown off their game is when they first show up, and it only takes them a few seconds to recover their confusion. But they’re fine, his daughter’s happy so they get to live another day

Fastfoward to after his death and momentarily resurrecting for a contest of love, he finds out the rando is the literal god of time and the best friends/lover/champion/whatever of his daughter. And he just accept that as fact and moves on to spend quality time with Gravelyn in the form of competing against her

@one-random-potato I’m not sure if replies have a character limit and I didn’t want to spam you in a thread! But here’s the story!

So, I walked into the museum and started doing my own thing and looking around as I had the day before. I was going to wait until around the same time I had bumped into him to go near the area we’d met the day before. He found me a couple minutes before I was about to head over! I was reading the labels of some Greek armor when he walked past and said hello. We hit up some minor chitchat, him letting me know he could help if I needed anything. I thanked him and he left. FASTFOWARD A WHILE LATER.

It took me like an hour to get the courage to walk back to where he was. And I did the only thing I could. I pretended to be lost! 😂

I asked him for directions BUT HE READ THROUGH ME CAUSE IT DIDNT EVEN COME OUT AS A QUESTION. I was stumbling on my words. And we strike up another convo that eventually lead up to him offering to show me around during his time off! And I took that as my opening to ask for his number!!

Anyways, google kinda let me down because there were two links that werent images. I was hoping for a Twitter link because I used to be a hardcore twitter mf. But I got two top links. 1. some ao3 shit. 2. one of your tumblr posts.

In the past there were only two things I'd ever used ao3 for: smut and one SBI fic that made me cry. And I was scared of tumblr bc I had heard bad things only.

I was desperate. Very desperate. This search for dilfs had spiraled. I was no longer trying to harm my friends. Now I was just craving Dilfbur.

I gave in. I clicked the tumblr link. Then the ao3 link. I see the words "Dilfbur? Sorry. Dilfbur? Sorry. Dilfbur? Sorry-" and I don't read anything else. I never read tags. Trust me, it always bites me in the ass. (So much major character death.)

I also have a habit of devouring fanfiction. I read before classes start, before bed, during dinner, when I park my car, while I shower. Wherever god allows me, I make sure I finish that fic.

Anyways, fastfoward about 24 hours and I got converted into a tntduo enjoyer. I made my ao3 acc, I wrote my first tntduo prompt, I binged the yt videos and animatics.

Htid converted me into a tntduo brainrot infested mess. I even stopped using twitter and switched to tumblr.

Honestly, I am alwasy looking for fic recs now because I started to run out.

Comma, you and your skrunkly little dilfs killed me. I was writing rpfs and platonic fluff and then you dragged me back into my dark days of writing one ship and god forbid I write anything else.

You know, I made this about a month ago,

and the more I think about it, the more interesting I find the connecting pieces. So, hows about I share the full story?

It's 2009, end of the year, and I get my first Fire Emblem game; Radiant Dawn (still have that same copy to this day).

Manage to sink over 200 hours into it through repeat playthroughs. Just absolutely hooked on it.

Become Fire Emblem fanatic.

Buy every english released game from RD onwards, as well as managing to score a copy of PoR (before the price hike was too horrific).

During the Awakening Era (which was my high school era), successfully beat Lunatic+ (because I'm a madman).

On the side, be a Date A Live fan. Not relevant at the moment, but it was around this time.

Fastfoward to 2017, Fire Emblem Heroes comes out. I have to upgrade my phone just to play it (you'll see this play out again later).

Become hooked. Constantly flipping between F2P and P2W. Have an on again, off again relationship with the game for a while until 2023 (come back to this).

During this time, flip between playing other gacha games on the side. None stick quite as long as FEH.

Enter Dragalia Lost.

Looks pretty cool, but at the time of release, it wasn't available in Australia.

Fastforward to the Dawn of Dragalia Event (want to say, 2.5 anniversay?). Announced that the FEH collabs in this game are being added to the event compendium, and that Notte, the plucky sidekick fairy, is becoming playable.

Dragalia is available in Aus.

Upgrades phone again to hold both games.

Get absolutely engrossed in Dragalia, but actually maintains a F2P playstyle.

Some time later, the Blood that Binds events rolls around.

Enter It's All Fiction by Yaneura Syobou.

Casually look through Date A Live manga on Mangadex.

Discover that Date A STrike hasn't been finished. Previous translator having not touched it in over three years.

Fuck. Now what?

Remembers the work I did with It's All Fiction.

Fine, I'll do it Myself.

Works on figuring out where to find the RAWs, and how to go about translating.

Discovers ImageTrans, and better yet, it's not a subscription program.

Buy Date A STrike off Bookwalker's JP store, just so that I have the moral high ground.

What if... I were to download the Bookwalker versions of the manga to my phone, then painstakingly screenshot every page and crop them in paint-dot-net? Would that work for getting around the encryption?

Does it. Slow and tedious process, but it works.

Trials the first chapter of Date A STrike, turns out not too bad.

Translates the untouched chapters.

It's done.

The itch to translate remains.

Finds out that the gag manga Date A Party hasn't been touched at all.

Does it.

It's done.

And that, folks, is the long-ass domino effect of how I started translating manga. I haven't made a start of them, but I do have two Familiar of Zero side manga lined up to work on (and this time, no having to source my own RAWs).

Lea Liveblogs Off And The Hugginsverse Fangames; The Prequel To Shenanigans

Okay kids, before we set off to our fieldtrip to fucksville, it’s time for EXPOSITON in the form of me not shutting up for several paragraphs while I tell you why this is a good game, the fangames are good games, an all ya’ll punk asses need to listen to Mama Lea and play these dang games. Off itself was created in 2008 by a cool Belgian dude, one @mortisghost. Originally in French, we’ll be playing the 3.0 English translation as I hear that’s the most accurate (though sadly, removed all the swearing). Off was one of the first Earthbound-like indie games that used surrealism and horror to deconstruct the concept of well, Earthbound-like RPGS! It also created the proto-Sans Undertale in the form of the Zacharie fandom but we’ll get there when we get there While it never truly became popular like it’s thematic descendant Undertale, Off has a rather quirky cult following (myself included), many of which happened to be surprisingly good indie developers themselves! While there are a plethora of fangames, we’ll be focusing on the ones made by @theclaudehuggins, aka The Hugginsverse. Claude Huggins has made multiple OFF fansequels, fan-interquels, and fan prequel-sequel-god-what-the-actual-fuck-is-evens, as well as a couple of mods for Minecraft and Don’t Stave. There’s even a new one in the works which I will ABSOLUTELY be liveblogging when it comes out! The basic gist of a Hugginsverse game goes a little something like this; Temporal Shenanigans, Body Horror, Someone Playing With Powers That Perhaps They Should Not Have Been Given, and Well I Guess Zacharie’s Dead. For the Liveblogging, we will be playing, in order; Off, CLUELESS, Fastforward, and UNKNOWN. We will not be playing 365 because it’s sad and the last link I saw for Decode was a demo, and I’m not yet ready to include it. Now, as a fair warning; Off and it’s fangames, Huggins and otherwise, do include (as mentioned) body horror, along with some other severely unpleasant phenomenon such as suicide and cannibalism. This is a horror game series after all. I will be tagging as needed per post with tw: (Whatever), but if the whole thing puts you off it’d probably be best to blacklist the tag Jubiel Raham, my personal pupetteer who’s tag will be on every post from game start on. Now, without futher ado, let’s get this shitshow on the road!

Drawsadoodle and Spendco Elephants

Quick note: I just want to say that I'm not hating season 3a, nor any of the characters, in any way. I really enjoyed the weird adventures and new characters we met this half of the season. But I will be critiquing this first half of season 3a in this post so yeah :/

In episode 19 "The Dinner," After a somewhat awkward dinner outside the plantar residence, our cast of characters walk inside to play frog pictionary.

After 1-2 turns, its Sasha's round. She opens the note, and smirks as she confidently doodles a simple tree. She steps back and showcases her regular drawing to everyone.

But for Hop Pop, unfamiliar with the concept of trees, his mind immediately goes to the fall of toad tower. He is interrupted Polly, who mistakes what is supposed to be the leaves as the explosion caused by the boom shrooms. Sasha is set off by the way they recount the events of reunion.

Finally, Sprig decides to bring up the moment when Sasha let go of Anne's hand while they were dangling off the crumbling tower, sending her down to what would've been her inevitable death.

That was the last straw. In an action of anger, motivated by the pain that boils back up in her mind, she picks up the drawing board and throws it at the wall behind Anne and Marcy. The tension is at an all time high, the elephants running around in broad daylight.

This scene from The Dinner reaffirms to the audience that the event that took place a few months back still provokes an emotion, it still lingers in the back of our characters minds. These characters had a long lasting effect from the events of toad tower, and it can't be mentioned lightly.

Fastfoward to season 3, episode 10. Its been around a month or 2 after True Colors: the unforgettable season 2 finale that shifted the tone of a mostly slice-of-life show.

In order to increase the radius of the portal for Anne and the Plantars to go through, the Plantars and the Boonchuys take a trip to Spendco in order to find all the ingredients for the Portal Pie.

While Anne is distracted by her phone, her father surprises her with a toy sword from a nearby display. He challenges her to a "duel," to which Anne ultimately accepts. After a bit of back and forth, Anne bests her dad with the help of the combat skills she's learned in Amphibia. But just as she apologizes to her father for pushing him to the ground,

SHHEEN!

Anne yelps in shock, as a long, plastic sword enters between her arm and torso, catching her by surprise. The cold chill ran throughout her body due to her mothers antics. Even the sword itself is coated with cheap, bright yellow paint, that some would compare to fire.

Maybe that struck a cord. Maybe she felt the urge to cry or scream or punch someone in the face. Who knows?

But in a blink of an eye, Anne shakes it off. She yells out in a comedic voice, "These parents are the worst!" She dramatically falls to the ground laughing along with her parents, brushing off the glimpse of a haunting scene.

It has been 6 episodes since she last mentioned her name, and even then, it was only brief and meaningless. In the episodes of season 3 that we've gotten so far, this 40-second scene is the most explicit reference to an event that would shake anyone to their very core. And Anne laughs it off like its a hilarious joke.

I'm gonna say it again: I don't think season 3a is bad, nor do I think Anne or any of the other characters are bad either. I find a lot of comfort in this show, especially 3a. And I like to give credit to the show for a lot of its writing decisions that allow for the audience to form a genuine bond with most of the characters that we get time to understand.

But it was somewhat disappointing to see season 3a fall short in its ability to connect with our characters current struggles. I am mainly talking about Anne's character moments after True Colors, as well as all our other characters who didn't get enough time to process what happened.

The drawsadoodle joke was made to change the tone in order to properly address the fucking angst elephant. The spendco joke reminds the audience of the other shit that went down and proceeds to mock the audience that waited 10 episodes for the show to at least acknowledge that the elephant is there.

Spendco's elephant being the emotional toll that Marcy's death had on Anne. They did it for Sasha and Anne, which showed their individual development post-toad tower, and created real suspense and tension for when they reunite. They didn't do the same for Marcy and Anne though, which resulted in 10 episodes where it doesn't feel like Anne emotionally develops at all.

In my opinion, that's the biggest problem in season 3a. And it could've been so easily fixed, it could've made season 3a a lot more impactful. But season 3a is now set in stone, and that's why this is the weakest arc of the series.

Authors Note 2- Techno is your Uncle, since him being Phil's kid is a bit odd, but you still grow up with Techno, he's just 3 years older than you (Y/N is 19)

You've known Dream ever since you guys were little, meeting up in secret in a nearby forest to mess around and play. Wilbur your older brother, and Techno, your uncle, if you even call him that since you're so close in age, didn't really worry that much about you sneaking off, since you would always come back. Your dad, Philza, was a bit worried about where you would always go, since you guys lived it the tundra, you could easily get lost or die due to the cold, but since you always came back, he didn't worry much, your little brother Tommy was a different story. He would always ask where you were going and follow you around, you told him to stop, and he did.

Fast forward to L'manberg, you started dating Dream before the whole fiasco and when it started, Dream changed, a lot.

"Dream, why won't you give us our independence?" Y/N asked as she stepped in front Dream so he can look at her.

Dream glared at her before a walking past her.

"I don't even know why you even fight for that pathetic excuse of a nation, L'manchildberg was it?"

"L'manberg."

"Right... They're fucking PATHETIC Y/N, don't you see it?"

"No, I don't. Dream you've, changed. You're not the same charismatic and ambitious guy I used to know and love, you've became, a monster."

Dream stopped and turned around, his smile mask looking a Y/N. Dream lifted his mask to reveal a sinister and sadistic smile, with his bright green eyes glowing with bloodlust.

"Me, a monster? Says the one who's father is the fucking Angel of Death, and whose uncle is nicknamed the FUCKING BLOOD GOD! And you're calling me a monster, your the one who's the monster Y/N," Dream said.

"Don't you fucking say that about my family."

"Oh Y/N..." Dream said, walking forward before grabbing your face and bending down to look at you at eye level.

"Do you THINK you have any say or power in this relationship?" Dream asked, digging his nails into your skin, making them bleed.

"I own you, I'M FUCKING GOD! And your just another one of my puppets, but you're my favorite puppet, so don't make me have to taking that away, ok?" Dream asked.

"Ok..."

"Good," Dream said, letting go of your face before walking off.

"See you soon, Doll," Dream said, as he disappeared behind the bushes.

Y/N touched her cheek and looked at her hands, only to see blood. Hissing from the pain, she walked back to L'manberg. When she got back she was greeted by her little brother.

"Hey big (The First Letter in your name)- OH GOD WHAT HAPPEND TO YOUR FACE!" Tommy asked, having worry on his face.

"Oh it's nothing, I just got attacked from a wild dog."

"Y/N, I've seen wild dog attacks, the Mark's they leave behind don't look like this, these look like nail marks."

"There's no need to worry Tommy! You don't have to worry about me," Y/N said, brushing dirt off of their L'manberg uniform before ruffling Tommy's hair.

"Hey! It took a long time to get my hair like this! Gotta impress the ladies you know," Tommy said, fixing his hair.

"Like your going to get any," Y/N said giggling.

"I WILL! Just you watch."

Fastfoward...

Dream dropped his sword as he looked at Y/N, who was on her knees crying while holding her eye.

"Y/N I..."

Dream couldn't find any words to explain his actions. Y/N looked at him as she got up, and before he could blink, she ran off, heading back to L'manberg. When she got to L'manberg's gates, she sat down and began to pass out due to the blood loss, Wilbur and Tommy were walking down to the gates, discussing what they were going to do with Dream and his friends, and as the passed they say a bloody passdd out Y/N.

"Y/N!" The boys yelled as they ran over.

Wilbur checked her pulse and sighed in relief.

"She's still alive," Wilbur said as he picked her up.

"What are we going to do?" Tommy asked.

"We're going to bandage her up and find out who did this."

The boys ran to Wil's house, Tommy was patching Y/N up while Wilbur checked around the outskirts of L'manberg, just in case anybody was nearby. Y/N woke up while Tommy wa bandaging her up.

"Y/N!" Tommy said, hugging her.

"Tommy, where am I?"

"You're in Wil's house, but that's not important, what happened to you?" Tommy asked.

"Dream..." Y/N said, looking down at the floor.

"D-Dream!? How?"

"Tommy, if I tell you this, you can't tell anyone, not Wilbur, not Techno, Not Phil, hell, not even Tubbo, ok?"

"Ok."

"Dream and I have been, dating, before this whole war thing. Before the war, he genuinely cared, but now, he's became a monster."

Tommy stood there with his mouth wide open.

"Y/N you have to break up with him, he's a danger to us and he's a danger to you, look at what he did to your eye! I don't think this is going to be a one time thing."

"I know but..."

"Y/N, this is abuse, I knew those Mark's weren't from some dog, they looked like nail Mark's. And, do you realize that if Wil, Techno and Phil found out this secret relationship, you may be fucked."

"Ok... I'll do it."

Tommy walked over Y/N and hugged her, saying good luck.

The next day...

"Dream, we need to talk."

"About?" Dream asked, as he sharpened his netherite sword, not looking at Y/N as he did so.

"I want to break up."

All of Dream's movement came to a halt as he turned his chair around to look at Y/N.

"What?" Dream asked in a stern voice.

"I want to break up Dream, I can't do this anymore. I can't take your temper anymore, I can't deal with you manipulating me anymore, and I can't deal with stress of my family finding out about our relationship!"

Dream began to chuckle darkly, and that chuckle turned it a uncontrollable laughter.

"You... You really think you can just leave me like that? I OWN you, remember? Your MY property, you can't just leave..." Dream said as he got up and slowly walked towards you.

"You don't own me Dream! I can leave if I want to," Y/N said as she turned around to walk out.

"Ok then, leave. But remember, you'll always be mine and once I have you back, you'll regret ever leaving," Dream said as Y/N walked out of the room.

Y/N walked back to L'manberg, thinking about what Dream just said.

"God, don't make me regret this..." Y/N said as she entered the walls of L'manberg.

I Highkey have Not been able to stop thinking about this post ever since i first saw it and in a bid to not undertake writing a wholeass fic for it here are some of said Thoughts™

so trans!Alex, young, pre-transition, over 18 but probably started college younger so olivia doesn't realize how young since they're in the same year (canon puts both cabot and benson as born in '68, but SMarch was born in '74 so cabot could be a yearish younger here, Whistler is probably sameish age as tori anderson who was born in '88 so for my purposes im gunna say oliva is 20 when)

her and alex have a one night stand

alex is kind of messed up about it bc gender feelings, p soon after ends up disappearing, takes time off from school, transitions, transfers to new school where no one knows her (we know she went to harvard law school but idr where she went to undergrad not that it matters let's say they met at a party)

and then olivia realizes she's pregnant, she already knows that she wants to be a detective but still hasn't begun to heal from the trauma of her conception or her mother's abuse, so she finds out she's pregnant and freaks out but feels like she can't have an abortion bc if her mom still had her how could she not have the kid just bc she wasn't ready, couldn't handle it, basically girl is still fucked up

so she doesn't attempt to locate alex, has the kid on the dl, gives it up for adoption and never looks back

fastfoward to when olivia meets alexandra cabot, she doesn't recognize her even tho she feels familiar in a way olivia can't put her finger on and alex isn't about to out herself even if she still thinks about that night often

they def dont figure it out til post alex gets back from witsec

whistler meanwhile is raised by parents who never tell her she's adopted, noah is their biological kid and the two of them look So Similar, choose your own angst as to whether she gets kicked out in hs (idk why i'm just so attached to her parents disowned her....it's terrible but it feels right) and it comes out then and noah is all like it doesn't matter You Are My Sister, or if she only finds out after noah dies and like he kept their parents from doing anything drastic bc he was the golden child but when he dies Then they disown her and it comes out so she loses literally everything all at once idky Kate brings out the angst in me

in canon alex ends up volunteering in prosecuting sex crimes in war torn areas and also eventually quits practicing law when an abusive husband gets acquitted and murders his wife in retaliation at which point she joins a secret underground organization that helps battered women disappear either of which I feel like can have her paths cross with the fbi

and idk this is where plot issues come in and ive stopped trying to think further bc again avoiding writing A Fic but like maybe alex gets setup by a navy officer or agent or someone high profile whose wife she helped smuggle away, so alex's blood gets found at a crime scene and when they run it Surprise Kate comes up in the system (idk how dna traces work rotflmao but if shes got dia security clearance she's probably in the system yea?) idk

maybe when benson and cabot meet whistler they just seem To Know but surely it can't be blah blah blah lmao again idk but eventually adult!kate gets a family that loves her and it's all very sweet

she really is like The perfect cabenson kid okay i just can't Can Not this lives rent free in my brain i also rly don't know why my brain went this route instead of like cute fluffy cabenson raises her except im lowkey obsessed with jamming plausible scenarios into canon and also kate for whatever reason rly does bring out my angst whore side
