Had a dream last night where Phineas and Ferb had another movie, but in this one, it seemed like the main villain was going to be a Perry from the future who snapped and turned evil. Future Doof was talking to present Perry and was like, "I had a nemesis, once..." and took out a picture of Perry.

I might be too entrenched in the phandom because it's now invading my subconcious, but moving past that, I had a bonkers dream that Phantom was actually Danny's twin who had died. The only people who knew he ever existed were the Fenton parents. I'm sure he had a name that wasn't "Phantom" at some point (James, mayhap?) but nobody ever said it in the dream. I can't remember if ghost-twin Phantom had some kind of intrinsic bond with Danny that made it easier to possess him or fused them or something (so they were still essentially a halfa) or if they were two fully separate entities - it's all a little fuzzy now. Anyway, idk what to do with this but I feel like there's something there. Something terrible maybe, but something nonetheless.

Had a dream this morning that Archive of our Own had a Random button which would simply take you to a random fanfic, like Wikipedia has. (AO3 does not appear to really have this, I checked and couldn't find one, but I kinda wish they did.) Someone had started a game where whatever fic you got, that was your new fandom, which is very fun! I would love this meme in real life.

The problem came in where so many people used the button that it broke and just started sending everyone to Stealing Harry, and like...I have fond memories of Stealing Harry but it's not my best work and nobody should be assigned to be a Harry Potter fan in this day and age.

So I decide to go off and find Astolat and demand she fix this but when I finally did (there was a whole quest) she turned to me like the baddie in a horror flick and said, "But that's the most random story there is" in a dark voice and I was terrified and woke up.

In the cold light of day I know there are more random stories by me on the archive, let alone by others, but I'm not going to try to get back there to argue my case. Pretty sure whatever I spoke to was actually the demon specifically assigned to plague fandom and not Astolat at all.

I'd say "get thee behind me, demon" but I know just how many porny fics on AO3 begin with that premise. (I've written some.) Begone foul spirit, and take your Satanic Panic with you!

mordred, desperate for his hero’s approval bc no matter what he’s done emrys just stares at him with distrust and the poor boy is tired and so close to tears: no…i have magic.

percival, raised by druids and bonded strongly with mordred over that and does Not agree with the persecution of magic in camelot, had an inkling that merlin had magic but no proof: no. i have magic.

*leon and elyan exchange a look, elyan, amused and leon, exhausted, elyan shrugs*

elyan, knows how much gwen adores merlin and completely understands her stance bc merlin…is merlin, down to clown and put on a show, really playing up the dramatics: no! i have magic.

leon, exhausted, has known of merlin’s magic since he stepped foot in camelot, knows of his feelings for arthur and arthur’s feelings for him, knows arthur knows of merlin’s magic and wouldn’t harm him, thinks everyone is being absolutely ridiculous:

*the knights stare hard at leon and even merlin looks slightly offended at leon not jumping to his defense with the rest of the knights, arthur hasn’t said anything and is staring at leon expectantly*

Puzzles, Teeth, and Flowers - 12/1/2022

I had a dream where I was in some weird building. It looked kind of like an office, but it wasn't. I was going around it with some other guy (who I don't remember the appearance of) and we would find random keyholes and buttons around the building that seemed to do something when we interacted with them. It was similar to finding an easter egg in a video game.

After a while, I got a message that was in a text-box that commented on what I was up to. It said something about almost reaching the end or something similar. After exploring some odd places in the building, I ended up in what seemed like one of those places where dog shows where held. The panels on the wall around the show area had some keyholes on them, and when we opened them I had to solve some kind of puzzle before I moved on to the next one. One of these little panels opened and revealed a crawlspace. I went in and ended up in a pretty dark room with one source of light somewhere on the ceiling. Gundham was in there. We talked a bit, but I forgot what we said. I somehow got a bouquet of flowers, which I set down on a table that appeared in the room. Sometime during this I ended up losing some of my teeth, which I spit out (along with some blood). Not long after I ended up giving him a small red-orange flower from the bouquet, which had barely any flowers in it now (the other few having wilted). Before I woke up I tried to hug him, but he didn't seem to want that.

When I went back to sleep I had a dream that took place in the same building and I tried to go back there. I ended up running into two military people and taking their guns, and I was like, "Huh, wonder what I'll do with these." However, once I reached that show area again and tried doing the puzzles, my vision started to go and I couldn't see very well anymore. Most of what I saw was dark and fuzzy. Not long after I woke up.
