Sacred Realm updated! :D
New chapter new ramble here I am!
Sacred realm has returned with Chapter 4, named The hearald and the gorons, (Considering we start by climbing death mountain this brings me joy.
I'll get the important stuff done, This is done with permission from @zelda-the-sacred-realm, and all art from the comics belongs to the comic artist.
The link to the comic can be found here! Go give it some love it's expertly done! :D
Now, grab some popcorn and a drink, sit down someplace comfortable and have fun!
Lets go!
Tumblr media
It absolutely must be said the backgrounds of this comic never cease to amaze me at how detailed they are. I low key almost feel as cold as it looks there. It's damn incredible.
Tumblr media
Oh man i love him so much he's so sweet
He's just a curious little bab
Tumblr media
Time really do be >:(
Tumblr media
Name drop! :D Huzzah!
Link you innocent bean
Tumblr media
Is that who i think it is?
checks notes
IT IS
Okay okay okay Time to do my research. I'll go into it more when we get through the panels with him in.
Tumblr media
This is so sweet, Interesting that he knew Twi when he was alive. (Note the lack of fun yellow glow that the other spirits have)
Tumblr media
Calling him master. Considering what we know from twilight princess and the hero of time and the hero of twilight this makes a bunch of sense.
Tumblr media
Oh he's so pretty
So from my understanding of Twilight's lore, He sees time as a mentor (Hence calling him master.) Twilight seems to be alive here, so i would say that this is either during his actual adventure or just after it, meaning that the area we see around them must be Twilight's time.
(Also Epona beloved)
Tumblr media
OH MY GOD HE DID IT THE HERO
WE GOT A TIME BOOP IN COMIC IT IS CANON NOW
Tumblr media
link will 100% do it again, maybe even Twilight will get involved.
Tumblr media
Trying to decipher what Sky was saying here was fun, also Sky being protective of Link gives me life okay
Sky truly is the best
Tumblr media
God these enemies are so cool!
Tumblr media
The cinnamon roll needs assistance, is that why he's in orange? Cause he's a little cinnamon roll?
(New headcanon you can't stop me)
Tumblr media
Save him
Tumblr media
SKYYYYYY
Protective Sky is the best Sky alright
He's so cool!
But the lines I assume are from the spirit barrier from before. Like he's fighting the barrier to be here? Is this gonna hurt Sky to do this? It looks like he's struggling.
I'm going to assume he can't keep this up forever and this is a last resort move.
Tumblr media
And Time knowing Sky?! Hello? Makes me wonder if the spirits have been in contact like this.
But I've got a theory about this
I think Time may have not been the only one to aid Twilight. Hence why he knows Sky.
I dont have much to base this on right now but I'm hoping we will see more about this in the next chapter so I can elaborate on this further.
Also look at Link grabbing Time's scarf like he's a toddler, the little question marks are just so adorable and I love this man okay.
Okay, I think thats everything! Thank you so much for hanging out with me as I go through this comic and yell about my faves and the cinnamon roll that is this iteration of link.
And thanks again to the artist for letting me do this!
Hope you have a wonderful day! :D

Prompt ask: Cuddles
Bonus points if it includes Wild, Hyrule, Legend, and/or Ravio or Wolfie 💜
Oops. Here's 1051 words of everyone's favorite chaos duo (and Epona too!) somehow managing mischief even when trapped in an icy sinkhole.
******
"Well this is fun," Wild said, hands on his hips and looked up at the tall and ice-covered walls of the circular pit they were in.
"I wouldn't call being portaled into an inescapable icy sinkhole as fun," Hyrule said.
"At least we got the horse," Wild glanced Epona who made an annoyed horse noise and shook her mane.
"And we got everyone's stuff too," Hyrule said eyeing Epona's saddlebags. "We should look through them and see if there's anything we can use to get out of here like a hookshot or something."
"Good idea, ehehehe, and we have a rare opportunity to see what cool stuff they've got hidden away," Wild said.
Three raided sweets stashes, two explosions, and one weirdly angry bottled bee later and the two boys found nothing that could help them escape their icy prison; annoyingly, the rest of their companions had kept their mobility items on their person for the portal jump.
“I hope everyone else is okay out there,” Hyrule said making a little next out of blankets and clothes from everyone’s bags. “The sky is clear tonight which means it is going to be very cold.”
“I’m sure they’ll be fine,” Wild said piling blankets on Epona’s back. “Probably. Hopefully…. They better be.”
“How thick do you think this ice is?” Hyrule tapped a bare patch of dark blue ice that filled the entire bottom of the sinkhole. “It looks thick enough to tolerate a fire, don’t you think?”
“If it can hold the weight of a fully-laden horse I’m sure it’s thick enough for a bonfire, let alone a regular campfire.”
“Oh? Bonfire time? I’ll start setting it up!”
“Don’t get too crazy,” Wild cautioned. “I’d rather not go swimming if we can help it. Also, you don’t happen to have any grass or hay for Epona in your pack do you?”
“Uh, sorry, no. I only have breadsticks, salted ham, and all of Warriors’ candy.”
“Hmm. Alright. Sorry girl, looks like you’re having only apples and carrots for dinner.”
Epona made a horse noise that was the equivalent of “I really don’t mind. Give me all the apples and carrots you got.”
******
Two hours later, Hyrule and Wild were cozied up together in the blanket and clothing nest well fed and sitting in front of the roaring bonfire with Epona standing close behind on her own bed of blankets laid down for her (sorry Legend, they’re your blankets).
“How long do you think we’ll be stuck here?” Wild asked. Hyrule sighed.
“Probably a while. The others have no way to know that we’re down here. It’s not like we walked here and left tracks or a trail for Wolfie to follow.”
“I have enough apples for Epona to last two or three days at the most, then we’ll have to start sharing our food with her,” Wild said. “I love you Epona, but I’d rather not give you all the wheat and rice I have, which isn’t very much to start with.”
“I wonder if she likes salted ham,” Hyrule pondered. “Or candy.”
“She probably does,” Wild shrugged. “They say horses are omnivores. Isn’t that right, girl?”
Epona made a horse noise that meant “I can neither confirm nor deny that statement.”
“Despite the literal icy prison we’re in, this isn’t so bad,” Hyrule mused. “We’ve got a bigger fire than Time normally lets us make, all the blankets we could ever want, and nobody to fight with over the food. We can eat as much bread and meat skewers and other people’s sweets as we want.”
“You know what? You’re right,” Wild agreed. “Let’s enjoy being in ice jail while we’re here.”
“I hope they don’t find us anytime soon,” Hyrule said. “We’ve only just begun to scratch the surface of exploring what’s in everyone’s packs.”
“Hehe, then let’s get back to it… in the morning,” Wild yawned. “I’m tired and it’s cold.”
“Sure thing,” Hyrule said and nestled even further down into the blankets like a kitten.
******
“Well you guys look cozy,” a voice woke both Wild and Hyrule in the early morning.
“Twilight!” Wild exclaimed disentangling himself from the blanket pile he’d burrowed into. “What are you doing here?!”
“Looking for you two. And Epona. And all our stuff. Which it looks like you took the liberty of exploring.”
“You realize this is an ice-filled sinkhole and we can’t get out of here right?” Hyrule said. “You just trapped yourself down here with us.”
“How do you think I got down here?” Twilight rattled the climbing harness and the rope that connected him to the upper rim of the sinkhole. Sky and Legend waved down at them. Hyrule waved back and Wild gave them a thumbs up.
“Oh yay, we’re saved,” Hyrule said apathetically.
“Why don’t you sound excited?” Twilight asked. “We’re going to fish you out of this hole.”
“Is everyone else alright?” Wild asked.
“Yeah, everyone’s fine. We all managed to find the same hunting cabin and stayed the night there.”
“How did you even find us?” Hyrule asked.
“We saw your smoke signal,” Twilight motioned to the smoldering remains of their bonfire. “You went a little crazy, didn’t ya?” Hyrule giggled.
“I don’t know what you’re talking about,” Wild said.
“It’s a perfectly ordinary regular-sized campfire,” Hyrule said.
“Neigh,” Epona disagreed.
“Are you two going to get up or just sit there wrapped in blankets like a pair of hibernating bears?”
“Alright, alright, we’re going,” Wild reluctantly stood up and Hyrule groaned and wrapped the blankets around his shoulders even tighter.
“Four’s making berry porridge at the cabin, so if you want some before Wind eats it all, you two had better hurry up,” Twilight said.
“The question is how do we get Epona out of the pit?” Hyrule asked.
“That’s the easy part,” Wild said. “I have horse armor that can teleport the horse. All I—or you or Time—have to do is to whistle the horse-call song and poof! There she is beside you.”
“What? Seriously? That’s so cool!” Hyrule exclaimed.
“Let’s do that then,” Twilight said. “You two get up and pack up and we’ll rappel you up.”
“This has been one short lived vacation,” Hyrule said. “But it was a good one.”
“Ain’t that the truth,” Wild agreed.
The End.

Twilight Princess - oneshot
Crossposting some more oneshots from ao3, here’s the tp one :)
Ilia is one of those characters I feel like people love ignoring, which is a pity because I really feel like she has a lot of potential. I don’t know that tp did the best job with her, but I still like her a fair amount. Think I’m in the minority there though XD
Ao3 link
————————————————————
Ilia woke up in the dead of night with a soft gasp, her heart racing.
The small scar on her back was aching, and she took a steady breath, banishing the images her mind had conjured up while she was asleep of monsters and claws grasping and dragging her away.
She was fine. She was home, in her bed, her father asleep in the other room. There were no monsters around except the ones in her head, she was absolutely fine, and dear Ordona her heart just wouldn’t stop racing.
She huffed in annoyance at herself. Obviously falling asleep wouldn’t be happening again anytime soon.
She needed to get out and clear her head.
Making only a little effort to be quiet as she slipped out of the house (her father slept like a rock), she wandered down the path through the village, the dirt cool under her bare feet.
She paused and took a deep breath of the clear air, listening to the nighttime sounds she was so familiar with. She’d missed Ordon, after all that time in Kakariko. The other village was nice of course, but it’s dusty streets didn’t hold a candle to the rolling hills of her home village, full of trees and animals of all sorts.
It was quiet and peaceful, and Ilia finally felt her heart slow from its frantic pace as she heard an owl hoot in the distance.
She continued to walk, not really paying attention to where she was going, and found herself wandering in the direction of Link’s house. Looking a bit longingly up the path, she tried to get a glimpse of his treehouse, but the hills blocked it from her view.
He was finally back from another mission or something with the Resistance, and had been for about a week, but Ilia had barely seen him. He’d been spending nearly all of his time on the ranch, and when he wasn’t doing that he ran errands and took up any job that needed doing, before going straight back to his house at night.
The thought to go and see if he was awake crossed Ilia’s mind, but she shook it off. She didn’t want to bother him, and there was little hope Link was awake at this time of night. And even if he wasn’t... he probably didn’t want to see her anyways.
It felt like he’d been avoiding her.
Ilia huffed out a sigh and sat down by Sera’s shop, looking up at the moon. She wasn’t here to think about Link, she was here to clear her head, that was all. She wasn’t going to go bother him and demand answers in the middle of the night, that would be ridiculous, and she was feeling calmer now anyways.
She took a deep breath, and let out a yawn, finally feeling sleepy again.
And then the night was rent with a fearsome snarling screech.
Ilia jumped in her seat as her heart kicked back into overdrive, then bolted in the direction of the noise despite her instincts yelling at her to run the other way. A sound like that meant trouble, but she knew it hadn’t been loud enough to wake up anyone inside.
So she ran on, up the path towards the woods, directly towards Link’s house and—
Epona.
She skidded into Link’s front yard, mind conjuring up all sorts of images of his horse lying dead on the ground and Link in despair, but that was not the sight that met her at all.
Rather, a large lizard-like monster bleeding out on the ground, with a wolf standing next to it, muzzle stained with blood and panting heavily.
Ilia gasped, momentarily frozen at the sight in front of her.
But then her brain reminded her that Epona might still be in peril, and she grabbed a wooden training sword leaning against a tree, stepping forward and facing the beast.
“Hey! You, get out of here!” she shouted at the wolf, rapping the stick on the ground. “Link wake up! There’s a wolf out here!”
The animal immediately turned towards her, blue eyes almost glowing in the moonlight. It seemed startled at her appearance, and was still panting, tongue lolling a bit as it stared. When she took a small step towards it it whined, and immediately backed away.
Then yelped as its paw gave out from under it.
Ilia frowned, and took another small step forward, stick still in hand. The wolf struggled to regain its footing, and Ilia saw blood on its foreleg as it attempted to get away, only making it a few steps before collapsing again.
Ilia sighed.
“Well. Looks like you’re in no shape to get much of anything tonight then, are you,” she said as she drew closer to its side. She gave the monster a small poke. “This guy more trouble than he seemed, huh?”
The wolf only let out a quiet pant, eyes following the stick she still held.
Epona let out a distressed sounding nicker from a short distance away, and Ilia glanced up at the treehouse, noting the dark windows.
How on earth hadn’t Link heard anything?
The wolf blinked at her, watching her glance up at Link’s house, then tried one more time to get to its feet and escape.
It couldn’t even get all the way up before collapsing.
Ilia sighed as she watched it struggle. She knew what an injury like that meant for a wolf, and though the beasts were technically pests, she couldn’t help but feel bad for it.
“Normally I’d just chase you out and let you on your way,” she said apologetically, feeling a bit silly for talking to a wolf, “but a leg like that won’t heal on its own, and honestly even if it did you’d probably be lame the rest of your life. Plus you might come back for the goats...”
She sighed again.
“Now the question is what to do...” she muttered. “It’d make the most sense to wake Link, but he hates killing anything.” The wolf let out an honestly pitiful whine, and Ilia gave it a sympathetic look. Poor thing. “Or maybe I’ll just get Rusl. He’ll want to know about a monster getting this close to the village anyways.”
The wolf’s eyes went wide at that, almost as if it understood her, and it tried again to get to its feet, weakly scrabbling as it tried to drag itself away.
“I know, I’m sorry. We’ll put you out of your misery soon, critter,” Ilia apologized. “Keep an eye on him, Epona,” she directed to the mare, then began to walk back towards the village, not too worried about turning her back on the injured beast.
She only made it a few steps when an attentive bark came from behind her, nearly making her trip.
Ilia turned back towards the wolf, then froze as it stared directly at her, blue eyes wide. She stared back, and then suddenly the moonlight seemed to go out around the wolf, shadows twisting around it and covering it fully from sight.
Something heavy sunk into the air, something dark and wrong and familiar, and Ilia gripped the training sword with a new urgency as the shadows grew.
What was going on?
Then as suddenly as it had come up, the heavy wrongness in the air fell away, and the shadows around the wolf dispersed as well, fading away in small black rectangles before her eyes.
And instead of a wolf in front of her, there was a young man lying on the ground, clutching a bloodied arm to his chest.
He met her gaze and gave her a weak grin, and if Ilia hadn’t been so frozen with shock she probably would have hit him with her stick.
“Uh... s-surprise?” Link said with a wince.
Ilia stared.
Then her eyes narrowed, and she tossed the training sword down as she strode over and glared.
“Inside. Now.”
(...)
Ilia assisted Link in climbing up the ladder to his treehouse in silence, apart from the occasional direction from her or quiet grunt of pain from him.
As soon as they were up, Ilia went for the few medical supplies she knew Link had while he sat down on his couch, looking pale and exhausted. She grabbed the kit (it seemed much more well-stocked then she remembered) and sat down next to him, pulling his arm out as she grabbed a cloth.
She began cleaning the teeth marks marring Link’s arm, internally wincing at the mangled flesh. No wonder he couldn’t walk on it as a wolf.
As a wolf.
That he could turn into.
That had actually happened.
Dear Ordona.
Link let out a small grunt as she dabbed at his arm, his face slightly screwed up. It didn’t seem like he’d lost too much blood, but the injury must have been horribly painful. Ilia finished cleaning the wound with a sigh, then got to work wrapping it up.
“Are you mad at me?” Link suddenly asked in a quiet voice, still watching her bandage his arm.
Ilia continued her work and didn’t meet his gaze.
“Yes.”
Link flinched and went silent again.
Ilia finished wrapping his arm, making sure the bandages were tight before leaning back with a small exhale. It looked pretty good. Probably not as good as Renado would have done, but not bad.
She was about to stand up and put the leftover supplies away when Link put a hesitant hand on her arm, stopping her from leaving. She looked at him and he flicked his gaze away from her to his feet, ears drooping.
“I’m... I’m sorry I didn’t tell you,” he mumbled. “About the wolf thing. I... I get why you’re mad about it—”
“What?” Ilia interrupted in an incredulous tone. “Link, I’m not mad you didn’t tell me you could do... that. I mean I’m shocked, obviously, and a little annoyed you didn’t trust me, and also that you were idiotic enough to get hurt, but I’m not mad you kept it a secret.”
She looked at him intently until he raised his head and met her eyes.
“I’m upset because my best friend’s been avoiding me for weeks and pretending like everything is great when it’s not,” she said with a faint snip in her voice. “It’s been like this since everything ended. You run around and distract yourself until you drop and act like everything is all fine and dandy when it’s so obviously not I can’t stand it.”
Link stared at her, blinking in disbelief once she’d finished.
”...It’s that obvious?” he said weakly, and Ilia pulled her arm out of his grip and held his hand instead.
“Yeah, it is,” she huffed. “You’ve been avoiding me and I think as your best friend who’s known you since before you could even talk, I have the right to know why. So spill.”
Link stared at her, and hesitated, eyes clouding as he looked away.
Ilia frowned.
“Look Link... you helped me when I couldn’t even remember who you were,” she said gently. “Let me help you. Even if it’s just to listen. Please?”
Link looked up at her, and let out a quiet, weary sigh.
“I... okay.”
He gave her hand a squeeze, sending a small bit of warmth through her.
And then he told her about Midna.
Ilia was silent the entire long explanation, letting Link spill out all of what he’d gone through and what he’d experienced. About how he’d woken up as a wolf and met an annoying imp who’d ordered him around, but somewhere along the way become a close and dear friend to him.
He left obvious chunks of the story out, and stumbled through several parts, leaving gaping holes in what had happened. But he told her about a lot of it, and Ilia listened to every bit.
And finally, voice holding a small tremble, he told her about how Midna had left.
And how he had never gotten to say goodbye.
Ilia was silent for several long moments after he finished, still holding his hand. Her mind was reeling from all the information from the tale he’d woven, concern for her friend now even higher, but among all the questions she now had, one stood starkly at the forefront of her mind.
“Did you love her?” she asked eventually, voice quiet.
It took Link what seemed like forever to respond. And when he did, his voice was almost too soft for Ilia to hear.
“...I don’t know,” he whispered.
He breathed in a shuddering breath.
“And... that’s why I’ve been avoiding you. Because... because I don’t know. I was afraid of what it meant if I did, and you’re my best friend Ilia, but— I didn’t want things to be weird between us—“
“Even though they already are?” Ilia interrupted wryly.
Link lowered his head. “...Yeah.”
Ilia sighed, but didn’t let go of Link’s hand, giving it a small squeeze.
“Look, Link... I get that you have stuff to work through,” she said quietly. “We all do, I think. But you don’t have to act like everything’s fine. Ignoring it all is just going to make things worse in the end.”
She nudged him, and he met her eyes again, his blues looking watery.
“You’re not alone, Link,” she continued gently, and wiped away a tear off his cheek. “Stop acting like you are. And don’t make me pound it into your stubborn skull, because I will.”
Link chuckled, even as another tear escaped down his cheek, and he leaned forward and hugged her.
Ilia hugged him back, his arms warm around her, and she breathed in the familiar piney smell he had always had around him. Link let out a suspiciously shaky breath, and she gave him an extra squeeze.
“You’re not alone.”

I'm going to preface this fic with the fact that I have not played Wind Waker yet, I have no idea how the thing is supposed to work, I just saw a cool prompt and wrote a thing lol.
Have fun!
no content warnings. brother to brother comfort
Legend sat next to Hyrule on the bank of Lake Hylia in the rancher’s era. It was really a gorgeous place, it was safe too, since the lake was near completely surrounded by tall cliffs (that Wild had climbed and jumped off into the water a frightening number of times).
A couple of odd… houses? sat on one of the cliffs and in the middle of the lake, Twilight assured them they’d go check those out later.
Legend looked out at the lake and smiled to himself, they had been in this era for a couple of weeks, most of which had been spent battling the black blooded monsters in Hyrule field and the Zora’s domain. Legend was glad they came here, his brothers deserved a break.
“Lege! Rule! Come on, the water feels great!” Wind shouted from the lake, Legend raised a hand to wave and cupped the other around his mouth.
“We’re good here, thanks! Water and I don’t really get along!”
Wind swam back to shore, wringing out his bright sandy hair once he was out of the water. “How come? Is it something to do with one of your adventures?” He asked.
“Something like that, besides, I’m keeping Roolie company.” Legend said.
The younger boy cocked his head to the side. “Keeping him company?”
“I uhh..” Hyrule started. “I can’t swim.”
“You WHAT?!?” Wind exclaimed. “I thought everyone knew how to swim!”
Hyrule gave Wind an apologetic look. “I never learned. The waters in my era are dangerous.”
Wind paused. “Want me to teach you?” He asked. Hyrule’s eyes widened.
“Sure!”
“Okay, come on!” Wind grabbed Hyrule’s hand and started heading for the water, he stopped and turned to Legend.
“Go ahead, sailor.” Legend said before Wind could ask. “I do know how, but like I said, water and I don’t get along.”
Wind shrugged as if confused why anyone wouldn’t want to swim every chance they got, but ran off with Hyrule in tow, excited to teach his brother how to swim.
------------------------------
As the sun dipped below the cliffs, everyone had set out their bedrolls and sleeping bags, Wild had gotten the fire started, and some sort of heavenly smelling stew was simmering in his cookpot.
Time and Twilight were busy talking while they polished armor and waxed Epona’s saddle, Sky was carving away at a piece of wood that was starting to look like a wolf. Wind, Four, Hyrule, and Wars were sitting in a loose circle, regaling one another with stories from their adventures.
Legend was half listening to Wind’s story about a ghost ship when Wild called that the food was done.
------------------------------
Later in the night while Legend was on watch with Twilight, he noticed Wind get up from his bedroll and walk off. Legend thought nothing of it until he started to hear faint music coming from the direction Wind had gone.
Legend stood and let Twilight know where he was going, then followed the music down to the edge of the lake. Wind was standing in the water up to his pant cuffs, the light of the moon reflected off the water like crystal, casting the sailor in an otherworldly light as he stood.
Wind gently swayed in time with the small waves lapping around his legs, he held something long and slender in his hand, waving it as if conducting an orchestra.
Legend smiled. “That must be the wind waker, right?” He asked. Wind turned around, he didn’t seem startled by Legend’s sudden appearance.
“Yeah, want me to play something for you?” Wind held the baton aloft, under normal light, it had a calm white sheen to it. But under the moonlight, the wind waker seemed to glow.
Legend nodded, the sailor smiled and lifted the wind waker, then paused. He wore a puzzled look on his face. “Huh... Might as well.” He whispered to himself.
Wind took a deep breath, closed his eyes, and proceeded to play a song on the wind that he should not have been able to know. Three ascending notes, then again. Legend stared in shock as the sailor played the melody slowly and softly at first before increasing the tempo and adding embellishments to the song that Legend had heard only in a dream.
Once the boy had finished playing, he opened his eyes to see tears streaming down Legend’s face. “I’m sorry!” Wind said, he rushed to his brother’s side. “Did I do something wrong?”
Legend snapped out of his shock, quickly wiping the tears from his cheeks with the sleeve of his tunic. “No… No, you’re fine. You- you played it perfectly.” He looked Wind up and down, this boy, barely a young man, had somehow known the song that Legend hadn’t even hummed since he’d been on this journey. “Wind?”
“Yeah?”
“How do you know that song?” Legend asked.
Wind looked away sheepishly. “Well, you’re covered in it. It took a while for me to see it, but once I did, it was like reading a book.”
Legend’s eyes widened. “I’m… Covered in it?”
“Mhmm.” Wind nodded. “It’s so much a part of you that it’s taken me this entire journey to see the notes. What’s the name of it?” He asked, putting the wind waker away in his bag.
The older hero stared out at the lake, tears threatening to break his composure. “The Ballad of the Windfish. It’s a song that… someone I really cared about taught me a long time ago.” Wind stood up tall next to Legend and reached out, telegraphing his movements so Legend could avoid if he wanted.
Legend stayed right where he was, and Wind wrapped his arms around the other hero. Wind held him tight against his chest, and gradually, Legend sank into the embrace.
Neither boy moved, or talked, Wind simply held his big brother, ignoring the tears running down his tunic.
A little while later, the two walked back to the campsite, holding each other in a half-hug as they walked. Twilight saw them and waved as Wind slipped back into his bedroll and Legend sat back down.
Twilight noticed how red and puffy Legend’s eyes were and cocked his head to the side. “You alright, veteran?”
Legend scoffed. “The little sea rat threw sand at me when I found him, got in my eyes, is all.”
“Okay.” Twilight smiled to himself. He wasn’t one to press secrets, afterall.
<ok, so i hc that wind can see people's "auras" to a certain extent. since in PH (and maybe WW idk) he can see ghosts and spirits and stuff, he's probably got some sort of sixth sense about him n that's how he knew the notes. anyway>

DAY 6: YOU LIED TO ME
[Mild on whump. Trying my hand at a Warrior’s Hyrule trope I love]
Stalls crowded the streets in Warrior’s Hyrule. People moved in unpredictable tides, going wrong ways and in eddies instead of flows.
Wind wasn’t sure how he got separated so quickly from the others. He’d only been looking at the food a little bit. One moment he was walking behind Legend, the next he realized the person ahead of him was a lady in a red tunic with blue hair, her face nearly buried in a book.
Wind stopped in the middle of the crowd, looked around, and groaned.
How long have I been following this lady? He searched the crowd for his brothers, but they must have been long gone by now.
How was he supposed to find them in this crowd, anyway? He needed a crow's nest. There were stairs that led to a tall building ahead, a guard at the top. Maybe he could get up and get a better view.
Towering turrets came into view as he rounded the corner. The castle! He didn’t even need to climb to see it.
Wind made his way to the breathtaking structure until his path led to the gates. Off-duty guards milled around at a tavern near the entrance.
“Excuse me, um, Sir…knights? Have you seen Captain Link around? We got separated, and I really need to get back.”
“Oh!” The knight replied, handing his drink to a friend who stared at Wind as if seeing a redead. The first soldier seemed unfazed, so Wind ignored the other. “Yeah, I remember seeing you with him. I just saw him, actually. Let me send word with some messengers in case they find him first, but I saw him come this way,” the guard smiled warmly.
“Thanks!” How cool to have a whole crew to help defend Hyrule. Wind felt a little jealous of the knights among the heroes, who didn’t have to face Ganon alone, who had skilled fighters at their back. Then again, Tetra was a one-kid army.
Wind smiled back at the soldier and sighed in relief. Thank Oshus that Warrior was probably one of the easiest Links to track down. If it had been Hyrule’s Hyrule… Wind guessed he’d probably have a pack of moblins chewing on his legs like a cuckoo wing long before ever finding the Traveler. He shivered. He’d never say it to his face, but his era was the worst era by far. Actually, he probably had said it to his face, now that he thought about it. The poor teen looked like death when he first showed up. At least the bags under his eyes had finally faded.
He wished he could show them Outset Island, but he didn’t want Shadow opening more portals leading monsters to his home.
The guard turned to listen to a messenger whisper something in his ear, and turned with a smile to Wind. “Excellent. He’s waiting for you at the stables.”
Warrior’s Hyrule was a dream by comparison. It had all the excitement Aryll and Tetra and the crew could want, and seas of grass he could run through for days. Traveling with the chain showed him just how amazing having more than an island to travel could be. Still, he couldn’t wait to show them what real fun looked like—sailing open seas with a full sail, conducting the wind, exploring for treasure with your crew.
Wind followed the man away from the tavern and around a corner.
“In here?” They came to a stable. The knight stood in the door, welcoming him inside. The stalls reeked horribly.
“Link prefers a bit of privacy. Not everyone is a fan of his,” he explained.
Wind knew the other Links loved their big, stinky horses, so chided himself for being surprised that he’d come here. Wind had good money on a bet with Four that Warrior also had an Epona. Sky had bet that Legend had one, and Hyrule had bet on both Warrior and Wild.
Not everyone is a fan of his. Something about the words nagged at him.
“What do you mean?” Wind asked.
“Oh, we’re big fans of the Captain, though. Happy to follow him. Just one moment. I think I see him coming…” The soldier stood on his toes to look to the far end of the stable where another set of doors stood open to another street.
A sting on his neck and darkness closing around him showed that was a fat lie.
He swatted at the spot and grabbed a glass vial with a tiny metal point on the end. A large hand grabbed his and held it tight, and another circled his arm and chest, pinning him. “What the…what are you doing?” he stammered. Exhaustion flooded him from the prick on his neck, weighing him down. His eyes felt heavy. But he pushed back and squirmed, trying to fight it.
“What’s going on with this brat? Spirit normally would have seen this coming a mile away. He’s never been this easy to get the drop on…” the man holding him said.
Wind slumped against his attacker. The first soldier came closer, staring at him.
Wind struggled to stay alert and remember who this stranger was and why he was here. He struggled to keep his head up enough to glare back.
“He’s smaller, isn’t he? Younger? Has our Dear Captain been messing with portals again? The kid probably doesn’t even know about it!” The venom in the man’s voice at Warrior’s title made Wind gut clench with anger, and if he was honest, a touch of fear. This man hated Wars. Clearly, they hated him too.
“The kid probably doesn’t even know about it”
Know about what? Wars, what didn’t you tell me?
He huffed heavily. Had he been running? Had they chased him? Is that why he felt so tired and out of breath? No… they were liars…
“What more damage is that monster going to cause?” a voice near his head said. They were angry. But Wind couldn't understand, couldn’t keep track of the words. Who were these people?
He was so, so tired.

Your Cherub choices for the Deadly Sins are interesting, would you mind explaining who is who? Some are obvious but for others it is confusing.
Totally!
A bit of preface: I based these cherub designs on the forms Lucifer took during his fight with Adam, so I was limited by that. Also, I’m obsessed with the rings of hell being color coded, so they’re also color coded lmao
(also what a great excuse to post the cherubs individually. Thanks!)
Satan: Sin of Wrath, Virtue of Patience
Tumblr media
Since we haven’t seen Satan yet, he’s a bit of a wild guess, but of the forms I had to choose from, I thought Horse fit him best. We know the Wrath Ring has a western/cowboy aesthetic, and we’ve heard Bee say he’s hot without a shirt on, which made me think of the phrase “hung like a horse.” 😅 Plus, I think horses are a great representation of the dichotomy of wrath/patience—it takes a lot of patience to keep one calm, and they can do a lot of damage when riled up.
Also, the icon for his app we’ve see kinda looks like a horse skull, so here’s that next to Bombproof as a comparison:
Tumblr media
(side note: for no other reason than Because I Can, I gave him the coat colors of Epona. Because orange. 😂😂)
Beelzebub: Sin of Gluttony, Virtue of Temperance
Tumblr media
Only at this moment do I realize Lucifer never took the form of a bee, but because we’ve seen multiple bee cherubs before it felt like a no-brainer. 😭😅 I made her the smallest of the cherubs because, as Temperance, I felt she should be the smallest/least of the virtues. I also headcanon that she’s the largest of all the sins physically, because why shouldn’t gluttony get to take up the most space lol. Also, while trying to adapt her more canine features into a bee cherub, I realized her shirt as a sin looks a bit like a bib as a cherub and I thought that was cute. :>
Mammon: Sin of Greed, Virtue of Charity
Tumblr media
I know there’s a ton of debate about what Mammon’s true demon for is (whether of not he’s a spider), but personally I think he’s a centipede. Also, apparently some male centipedes can spin a web, which is cool. But as a visual metaphor, I think snake fits him really well. What better representation of charity than a creature that has no hands to hold on to things? And I would consider (within hellaverse lore), Lucifer giving Eve the apple an act of charity. Also, once banished to Hell, he’d sprout arms with which to grab lol.
I would also like to point out that I think his design is partially based on the sandworm from Beetlejuice, as a nod/inside joke to Fizz’s voice actor playing the broadway version of the character.
Tumblr media
(Sources: https://www.deviantart.com/highvoltage-art/art/Sandworm-Beetlejuice-891922450 and https://sinnawii.tumblr.com/post/732544584927870976/caught-trapped-in-his-web )
Asmodeus: Sin of Lust, Virtue of Chastity
Tumblr media
Alright alright—I know Ozzie’s extra heads are *technically* a ram and a bull, but I chose to base him on a goat. They’re all hooved animals. So…tomato, tomato. 😅 I also sorta liked the idea of “chastity” being a sort of “completeness” in heaven, which is why he has both sets of horns (like demon goats are sometimes depicted as). I imagine once fallen, there’d be a sort of…splitting, or ripping effect, creating the torn face in between, forever separating the two sides and creating the desire to “reconnect” them. (Yes I think Ozzie has every bit. All the bits. It’d seem silly not to lol)
Tumblr media
Leviathan: Sin of Envy, Virtue of Kindness
Tumblr media
Given that we’ve never seen Leviathan, and the Von Eldritch family is probably not Leviathan, I have very little to go on other than: a) ocean. octopus. b) virtue of kindness = many arms to hug with. 😅
(I’m really hoping Levi ends up being Cthulhu. Just. A Captain Davy Jones mf with an octopus for a head lmao)
Belphegor: Sin of Sloth, Virtue of Diligence
Tumblr media
SHE’S A NIGHTINGALE. GET IT? FLORENCE NIGHTINGALE, FIRST LADY OF NURSING? BUT BIRD? 😂😂
Tumblr media
Aight, but for real, I think it’s either confirmed or heavily implied that the baphotmet hellborn (the goats w candles on their heads) are native to Sloth, and I think that’s a really funny pun about “burning the candle at both ends” as a representation of Diligence morphing into a melting candle with excessive wax buildup. That sounds random, but I originally intended to draw Bel with a candle. But that…clearly didn’t happen. But I felt it was important to know. 😅 Also I envision cherub Bel was being that hyped up on caffeine, doesn’t sleep more than 2 hours, assistant that’s always on top of everything. The divine scheduler of heaven. 😂 And once fallen, her scheduling scroll burns to ash and she can finally relax. 😌
All in all,
I had in mind that all the cherubs actually enjoyed becoming demons, that they were finally able to shake off the constrictive and stifling demands of heaven and just get to be themselves. We’ve already seen that becoming demons didn’t make all of them shitty people (or at least, there was probably a learning curve that some/most of them conquered), because most cardinal sins on their own aren’t inherently selfish. Mammon almost by definition is selfish, which is why he sucks so much, and based on the pre-series lore Viv has mentioned about the Von Eldritch family, I think Leviathan is going to be a shitty or at least very toxic person, but I think Satan is going to have similar character traits as Tom from svtfoe. Like he has a short fuse, but he also does the workout app, so he’s clearly trying to channel that rage into constructive outlets lol.

I keep playing Tears of the Kingdom (SPOILERS)
The Like enemies are the worst
I hate them
Yona is such a sweetie
They wrote Sidon and Link's relationship to be romantic in this and added a girlfriend to Sidon for deniability
Yona even calls me Sidon's 'true companion'
The people making tutorials for every little thing have my heart because I am dumb of ass
I cant be the only one who avoids the depths like my life depends on it
Its not even the depths, the chasms just make me almost have panic attacks

They gave Link so many slutty slutty outfits
Making Link wear the hylian hood when he opens a memory looks funny
LEAVE ZELDA ALONE
Why doesnt Master Sword ever talk to ME
Why does it only talk to Zelda
Maybe there was a mix up because goddess Hylia only talks to Link
Imagine

Zelda looks kind of like Sonia's daughter and I wonder if Ganon thinks she is
The Zonai clothing is stunning
Why does Ganondorf have to be so evil
I GOT THE HYLIAN SHIELD
OMG
I NEVER GOT THIS IN BREATH OF THE WILD
Slip resistance is like the most useless thing in this fucking game
Because it does nothing
Even on level 3
Nothing
NOTHING
WHY DID YOU PUT THIS IN GAME THEN
The Dream Homes are so cool
They cost so many coins
But Im so excited
Its so cute
I CAN HAVE ROMAN IN A PERSONAL STABLE

The Lightning Temple is so cool
WHAT THE FUCK IS THAT
WHAT
WHEN DID THIS BECOME A HORROR GAME
I HATE THAT
The puzzles are hard, I have so little brains
Boss battles are so hard
The Lightning Sage is majorly hit
Why is Demon Ganondorf so hot
WAIT DAYBREAKER WAS HER SHIELD
Is this like a traditional shield and weapon of the Lady of Gerudo?? I thought it was just Urbosa
Btw Urbosa is my favorite Champion and I adore her
Simple lesbian brain
Once again Zonai Zelda is the prettiest person in any room
Please Can I Marry Her
Why does Zelda have tear tattoos? Like did she just get them to complete her fit
Iconic
Why cant we see the faces of the Sages
Me every time they call Zelda the Sage of Time
Riju is adorable
She's grown so much
I intended to write a long fic about BOTW with my interpertation of Link and all
But then TOTK released
I do keep thinking about it
There is so many ideas and headcanons I have
I do miss dressing Link as a girl
He has slutty outfits but like let me explore Link's gender
RIJU'S AVATAR IS SO PRETTY
LIKE PRETTY AND FIERCE AND SCARY
I LOVE IT AND HER
I so had a crush on Riju in BOTW I was just dumb and in denial
GERUDO TOWN IS BACK TO NORMAL
MY BELOVED
FAVORITE CITY
I want to write a desert civilization inspired ny the Gerudo and also real desert civilizations
But idk where to start
Oh I need to take a picture of Mattison for Hudson
I love Patricia
*feeds fruit to her*
I love that Padda also loves her despite her puns
WHY IS BOZAI STILL HERE
HOW DO I GET RID OF HIM
A VOE IN THE CITY
I really like the custom they have of the vai coming to live and grow in the city after certain age
FINALLY I CAN HAVE A NOBLE PURSUIT
I love the thunder helm
Haha you cant touch me
Its 3.30am rn
I should sleep soon, the sun wakes in like an hour
Impa, staring at me publicly in Gerudo town: I did not expect to see you here
She has the same energy as Yoda

I FINALLY BEAT THE BOSS OF THE SECOND DUNGEON IN OOA (which means i got past that room i was stuck on, thank u @pacicidal and @elegantcollectionkoala)
since i'm playing virtual console, i used a lot of save states to warp back to right before the fight to save time on retries and i've never used save states like this before so i had this really weird time loop sense like those fics where a character is trying something over and over again (of course, i would never write something like that) and it was interesting to see what conditions i set for myself to warrant a reset and experiencing the feeling of jumping back into the fight right after the start of the death animation played with new knowledge about how the fight would go down, but refreshed health and bombs, while the boss has no idea who i am and is seeing me for the first time. it just. it's giving me thoughts and feelings about time loops but this time with legend sklfjghsdfgkjsdf squido don't do it don't you dare
anyway i also beat twilight princess!!! (finally) i LOVE LOVE LOVE when you power up the master sword with the sol's in the twilight realm BECAUSE THE GLOW IS SO PRETTY DUDE THE LIGHTING ON THIS GAAAAAME but also i feel like coming back to this game, especially after screwing around in botw, it really hits me how they do a really great job of making the master sword feel like a total light saber and i am HERE for it!! you just feel so strong and powerful, and after having been so weak at the beginning of the game, having to smack things with your wooden stick and it taking forever to kill bokoblins with the ordon sword, just plowing through baddies is SO satisfying.
BUT THEN ALSO IT'S NOT JUST PLOWING THROUGH BADDIES BECAUSE THE COMBAT IS SO GOOD instead of just mashing Y, you're doing back slices and shield bashes and helm splitters and it's so much more fun and engaging and you feel SO COOL pulling it all off and aaaaah i love this game and how STRONG it makes you feel after working so hard to build up all these heart containers and learn all these skills and get and strengthen the master sword. what an adventure.
AND THE PUZZLES DUDE I DIDN'T WANT THE HYRULE CASTLE DUNGEON TO END it was just a playground of puzzles with all my items and shooting the paintings off the walls? clawshotting to the grates on lamps and chandeliers? i feel like this game perfected the art of observation-based puzzles. i feel like so many of the puzzles in this game amount to looking around, looking around differently (as a wolf, from different angles, with different items in mind, reexamining your surroundings and looking for new ways to interact with them) and i LOVE it!! i feel so clever when i finally spot The Thing that i was looking for and i usually endure zelda dungeons to get to the bosses and the story, but this is definitely the most fun i've ever had in zelda dungeons outside of link between worlds. i honestly believe the reason nintendo has deviated from their standard dungeons/items formula and has no intention of returning to it is that twilight princess PERFECTED IT in 3D so they have to try something else now (this is also why i think we haven't gotten a new traditional 2D zelda game in so long—albw perfected 2D zelda dungeon design).
BUT YEAH THEN THE ENDING OF COURSE RIPPED MY HEART OUT OF MY CHEST BECAUSE WHY WOULDN'T IT AND I WILL BE THINKING NONSTOP ABOUT HOW LINK RIDES OFF ON EPONA AND THEN STOPS YES I KNOW IT WAS ORIGINALLY A MISTAKE BUT THEY KEPT IT IN THE HD VERSION SO IT'S CANON NOW, BABY
anyway i love zelda games and I HAVEN'T PLAYED TOTK YET SO DON'T MENTION IT IN YOUR TAGS PLEASE CUZ I DO READ THEM ALL but yeah i'm getting totk soon and also just got minish cap and also i still have oos to play so yaaaaay i am once again feral for zelda games ALSO I CAN FINALLY PLAY ONE OF FOUR'S GAMES AND NOT SUBSIST SOLELY OFF WIKI ENTRIES WHEN WRITING HIM THANK GOODNESS

more totk thoughts from yesterday+ a lil today! I'm still playing I just wanted to write down yesterday's discoveries/thoughts before I forget them :)
The wind temple was so fun!! Getting to it was cool too, I loved bouncing on the ships and using the wind with tulin :) gosh I can't tell you how great it feels to fight a traditional zelda boss after so long. Also I love you bomb flowers you really carried me through that boss fight
So Zelda is definitely in the past, and also the sage of time?? Good for her, good for her. I love Rauru and Sonia's dynamic they're very cute :) also? Sonia being so kind and caring for Zelda?? Bless. at least I know my bestie is in good hands wherever/whenever she is
I did a LOT of exploring in Hebra after finishing the wind temple, looking around in places that I've seen in botw and thought "this place is cool, I wonder why nothing is here?" except NOW there is stuff there!! very cool very cool. I found a cave near a hot spring because I remembered the little waterfall that fed into it in botw and wondered if they'd done anything new near it. I also checked in on the hebra skeleton and girl!! WHY are your bones out of place. I fixed them but like. what's your spine doing stuck in an ice cube
I also explored the sky islands above hebra a bunch! Found the flying squirrel suit thing we see in one of the trailers haha, it was fun getting it. I also spied a really high up island in the far west and decided I Needed to get to it. If only to say that I did. So I very painstakingly lifted one of those hover-cube-platform-things with hot air balloons and rockets until I was high enough to glide there. That island was my white whale, I needed to get to it. I nearly didn't make it, but with Tulin's weird little aura ghost thing by my side, I managed to make it. And then I was greeted with KING GLEEOK OK BYE KING I'LL LEAVE YOU ALONE PLEASE DONT KILL ME
That was enough excitement so I went back to the ground, found a bunch of shrines (some of which are pleasantly difficult! One of them I definitely cheesed into getting through; whatever it was I put together was almost guaranteed not the intended solution), and then went it a stable and did a quest for a golden horse.
guys
why did they make that horse so dang ugly
it hurts to look at
ANYWAY I've been loving the cave systems!! The one you find in the royal family hide-away spot thing after Jerrin(?) goes wild with the sweeping? Awesome. I fought a stalnox, and found a bunch of cool gear, AND some cool story-bits!!
Also the little companion spirit Tulin i got after finishing the dungeon has been a great help for fighting so far! It's not like he's soloing big monsters but it's great to have something watching my back while I'm going ham with a spear on one particular guy in a big group lol
OH also, I love Link's humming while cooking!! The original song is still there but now it also switches between other classic tunes :) I'm pretty sure I've heard epona's song, saria's song, and maybe Zelda's lullaby?? Not sure on that last one

So, Majora's Mask Randomizer is almost go! I've inputted my settings, generated a seed (which didn't crash the program, yay!), ran a quick playtest, and everything seems to be in working order. It'll be interesting to see just how crazy this can get :P
Before I begin, I'd like to quickly go over some things: this will be a largely glitchless playthrough. I'm familiar with all the speedrunning tricks and glitches such as Hidden Owl, Bomb Hovering, Grotto Wrong Warp and Weirdshot, but the settings I have enabled don't require the use of these tricks. The main goal of this playthrough is to experience the game in a new way without breaking its physics over my knee... that may come later, but not right now!
I have not shuffled music or added my own custom music. The music of the game is very special to me, and while it'd be cool to have any of the thousands of midi tracks created specifically for this randomizer program, I adore the classic soundtrack too much. This will not affect any of you, but I'm saying it because... I dunno, actually. Just one of them things :P
I'm also not going for 100% completion, I'm just gunning for the quest essential items and beelining it for the finish line. This may sound boring, but wait until you see the settings I've picked.
Speaking of which...
Tumblr media
All the items ticked on this list indicate which items are going to be shuffled. You'll see the standard settings, including Shop Items, the Base Item Pool, Stray Fairies and Skulltula Tokens. Then there's more unconventional settings, like Cow Milk (cows will give random items when you play Epona's song near them), Soft Soil (items that appear when bugs are put near soft soil are shuffled), and Mundane Rewards (the 50 rupee prizes for minigames, etc.).
Then there are what I like to call the absurd settings. Things like: Hidden Rupees (which are spots in the overworld where rupees will appear if you walk over/shoot them), Freestanding Rupees (which are rupees that are just chilling out in the world), Caught Bottle Contents (All bottle items are shuffled, so fish can be bugs, bugs can be spring water, and spring water can be Deku Princess), Crazy Starting Items (shuffles the starting sword, shield and two of your three heart containers, meaning you start with no weapons and one heart), and the ominous sounding "Everything Else", which... do I need to elaborate there? I don't think I do, lol :P
Additional settings I have elected to switch on:
Ice Trap Onslaught - all junk items are ice traps. Junk items include small rupees, ammo refills... stuff you wouldn't normally go out of your way to pick up. There are. A LOT of them.
Quad Damage - I take 4 times the damage from all damage sources. Including the aforementioned ice traps. And I start with one heart. (spoiler warning - I am going to die. A LOT.)
Shuffled Enemies - all enemies are shuffled. This can softlock the game in certain situations, so will be interesting to see how this affects my playthrough.
Random Shop and Minigame Prices - the prices for everything are randomised. A deku nut can cost anywhere from 10 rupees to 990 rupees. To compensate, there is a 999-rupee wallet that has been added to the game. Locating this will be a top priority.
Random floor types - floor can be any texture, including grass, sand and ice. Would have loved for lava to have been one of the options, for the culture... but it isn't. Sad.
Unique colours for each of Link's transformations. I won't spoil these here, but I have picked thematically appropriate hues for each form. Here's hoping they look good!!
So... yeah. This might all seem a bit crazy - and it is! - but I do have the spoiler log to hand, so if it comes down to it, I can peek at what I need to progress. Plus which, I'm really excited to discover all the secrets this game has to offer, and whether I'll learn anything new about interesting item interactions, or hidden rupees that I never knew existed. It's a journey of discovery! And ice traps. And hardship. But hey, nothing ventured, right?
So, uh, wish me luck I guess! XD

concept: a LOZ au where the half-brother hiccups share the role of link! idk about the rest of the characters but astrid is probably zelda. i’ll leave the rest up to you.
BOTH MY HYPERFIXATIONS IN ONE AU???? DON'T MIND IF I DO
Okok so Link is both of them; Little Tooth would be sort of like Navi, (and just as annoying <3) and Big Tooth and the Windwalker would be their Eponas--
OH THAT, THAT OR THE DRAGONS ARE THEIR TWILIGHT FORMS??? like how alttp link is a rabbit and tp link is a wolf?? You got Elder here who's a super cool night fury and then Younger who is. A teeny weeny toothless baby,,
I could totally see Camicazi being like Midna-- in her imp form specifically, because what is Camicazi if not a short, chaos loving gremlin <3 twili Camicazi <3
For reasons of irony I think it would be really funny if Fishlegs No-Name was a Zora
Ruff, Tuff, Snotlout and Fishlegs Ingerman are tough. I'd probably compare the teens to the sages, or the Champions. They probably have super cool Champion abilities too!!
Also Astrid being Zelda is so AMAZING because her Shiek alter ego would be SO SICK,, and she'd probably make the Ganon stand-in cry
Hiccups 1 and 2 would be the other reincarnations of Link, and I think it would be SUPER FUN if they were ghostly companions kind of like the Champions
Alvin the Treacherous being Ganondorf afjdgjkdhksgjcjvxb
I think the "game" for this would be the Hiccups holding the split triforce of courage between them, and they and the dragon riders have to stop Furious and Alvin from destroying the archipelago in a war. Furious has the triforce of wisdom, which he took off Hiccup 2 after he died. Meanwhile, Alvin the Treacherous is looking for Astrid for Divine Goddess Power reasons, and he has the triforce of power, which he inherited from Thugheart, who stole it from Grimbeard. I'm sure there would be a lot more little details to this game, but this is all I can think of for now!!

Featuring: MidLink, Twilight&Warriors qpr, hurt/comfort, blood loss, blood and injury, loopy talk, old and new memories
"Would you stop squirming and hold still you stupid wolf!" Midna chides as she tries to keep ahold of the Hylians arm.
That puppy like whine escapes him as he tries to stop fidgeting. Each little tug of the bandages pulling at the raw wounds as the imp carefully patches him up. The crackling fire illuminating her in a way that the monoton lighting of the twilight just doesn't seem to achieve. But here in the dead of night, beneath a starry moonless black sky. Surrounded by the tall grass of Hyrule field. The light dances off her in such a special way.
Despite how tired he is, how much every little movement hurts. Between cracked ribs, bruised limbs, and the deep gashes torn into his torso and various other places. Watching her methodically wrapping the bandages around his torn up arm ends up putting a small smile on his face.
"What's with the stupid look?" She mumbles with a small frown as she glances at him.
He smiles more, looking every bit like a dopey dog. "Y'er soft.."
A startled bawlk of confusion escapes her. "I'm what?!"
"Y'er soft.." He says with a tired little giggle. "Ya like t' think y're all cool an' mysterious but y're jus soft."
"I am not soft!"
"Yeah ye are, y're really jus, so soft. And ya care and y're sweet! Ya just act like a big grouch.."
"Oh gods blood loss makes you loopy. Did you really loose that much? Are you going to live?!"
Despite the little imps' concern Link couldn't help but smile even more. Giggles escaping him once again. It was nice to see how much she cared. Seeing the sweet under all of her sourness.
Things were getting more and more dangerous, the injuries were starting to pile up. The ability to keep potions on him more difficult, and the time to travel to springs and supply spots is getting less and less even with the portals.
At the start he'd bandage his wounds in silence and mend his armor when he couldn't sleep for fear of what could jump out of the shadows. Such a routine quickly became something that kept him sane, so he didn't even realize when she started helping. When she'd take over wrapping the bandages because his hands were shaking. Pulling thorns and teeth from his body and rubbing salves on his burns.
Rather than waking up curled up in the dirt beneath Epona's feet alone and cold. He'd find her curled up with him like a cat during the night, staying as long as possible before the light would chase her into his shadow.
"Oh, oh gods no don't do that! Put those back there's no need for any of your stupid human leaking! You're losing enough fluids as it is!" Midna frets with a forced tone of annoyance. Her small hands wiping at the damp streaks now covering his cheeks.
That's funny? When did he start crying. Another soft chuckle escapes him as he leans into her hands unintentionally. Large warm tears continuing to well up more and more. Truth be told he doesn't have the energy to try and stop them, but try he does, at least for her sake.
"What is with you! Seriously this shit spills out of you faster than blood.." Midna hisses though it's still far more concerned than annoyed.
"'M sorry…jus sometimes they jus, kinda come out ya know? Kinna hard t' stop em once they're goin." He manages with a weak but wet laugh.
"I do not know. I'm above them.." She huffs.
That thought just makes him sad, his smile falling a bit. He knows very much how often she feels emotions. That she bottles all of them up and turns them into anger and sarcasm.
Before he's really aware of what he's doing his arms are around her. Holding her close as he can without squeezing her too tightly, not that he has the strength to smother her with affection right now. Even so the surprised squeak he gets out of her is enough to get a choked giggle out of him.
"Link! What are you doing!" Midna squawks as she tries to wiggle out of his hold without hurting him further.
Link lets out another soft chuckle, resting his forehead on her small shoulder. "M' sorry…jus..j-jus 'member ya don't hafta be 'bove it all when yer with me…"
The little imps wiggling stills as she lets out a soft sigh. Her small hand gently patting the top of his head before her little fingers card through his hair a bit.
"Alright you stupid little wolf…" She murmurs with a surprising amount of gentleness as she rests her head against his. "Get some sleep….we'll get you somewhere safe in the morning…and I'll keep the monsters at bay for now.."
°•○•°
"Okay, okay buddy you're gonna be just fine..I just need you to calm down okay?" Warriors manages in as calm a tone as he can muster.
Blood seeps through the deep blue of the blonde's scarf as he presses it firmly against the ragged wound torn into Twilight's chest. Staining his nimble fingers a bright crimson.
"Mm..'s kinda hard when there's 'n adrenlin fairy flittin 'bout" Twilight slurs as his eyes travel around in a panick. Scanning the battlefield for signs of their friends.
They'd landed in Warriors Hyrule, dropped right in the middle of a battle. Time had been torn asunder again and it was sheer chaos, monsters from all of their worlds tearing through forces like paper. They'd gotten separated from one another pretty quickly.
"Adrenaline fairy? Is that what you said?" Warriors asks with the small bit of amused exasperation he manages to muster. That ever so faint bell like ring to his words soothing Twilight at least a bit. "Please dear farmer, tell me that isn't actually where you think adrenaline comes from?"
A pained but honest chuckle escapes the ranch hand as he lets his head plop back against the boulder holding him upright. "Makes sense don't it? 'S like a spell hits ya out of nowhere 'n doesn't ware off easy..mean we've…we've seen butterflies that can stave off..the cold….an frogs that k-keep yah wake…why not drenlin..fairies..?"
More giggles escape him as he continues to ramble on. Part of him just wishing his brother would stop looking at him like he's dying.
"Okay…okay big guy..whatever you say okay? Just uh…just use that fairy to keep awake okay? We'll get you a potion really soon here.." Warriors says with a nod, his melodic voice trembling slightly.
"Heyyy…hey 'm okay…I'll be okay..I've..I've had worse….I think..certainly felt worse. So 'm kay…okay..?" Twilight says as he presses his shaking hands over the Captains.
"Don't you dare start trying to comfort me." Warriors frowns with a shake of his head as he tries to make sure he's pressing as hard as he can against the wound.
"Ya look so sad tho..." Twilight says with that sad puppy dog whine as he lets his head drop forward slowly. Plopping his forehead against his brothers so he can properly see those fierce crystal blue eyes, that are maybe getting just a little blurry because of the bloodloss. "Don't be sad…no reason t' be sad…"
"I'm…I'm holding your skin together as you bleed out before my eyes! H-how…I'm..I'm watching my brother die and you expect me not to be sad!!" Wars croaks, that bell like sound rattling with a desperation the other doesn't like hearing.
"'M not dying…no sir..not me.." Twilight murmurs.
"Twi you're!-"
"Didja…did ya realize..how pretty yer voice is..?" Twilight interrupts without meaning to.
"What..?"
"Yer voice…sounds like magic..it's all strong an…an commanding….specially..when yer usin that outdoor voice….it sounds like music! Is…'s really hard t' be mad atcha sometimes..specially when yer bein….'noyin..cuz the…the bells sound so happy…"
Warriors cheeks flare a bright red as he tries to focus on the injury again. "Really?! Now is when you go on about something like that?! Now is not the time you stupid wolf!"
Twilight can't help the chuckles that rumble out of him no matter how much they hurt. Squeezing the Captains hands as the wobbly giggles keep coming.
"Oh my….all this time and blood loss still makes you loopy."
The sweet feminine voice stills his laughter. All of the air being torn from his lungs at once.
Warriors pulls his head away from his brother and looks towards the voice. Relief filling his composure. "Midna! Thank the goddesses..please, please tell me you have a health potion on you?!"
"I do..don't worry he'll be alright."
Twilight's eyes fill with tears as he watches the princess come into view. The ruler of twilight kneeling beside him with ease and grace, almost as if she hadn't been missing from his life all these years.
"Sweet wolf…did you miss me that much..?" She whispers softly as thin baby blue fingers begin to card through his hair.
"Yer…yer really here..?" He manages on a choked sob. Immediately leaning into her touch as heavily as he can.
"Yes you silly farm boy…I'm right here.." She murmurs as she carefully shifts closer to him. "Drink this for me okay..? You'll feel a little better…."
Carefully she gets him to drink down the sour red liquid. His pain slowly starting to eb away a bit with each passing second.
"It won't heal you all the way…but it'll be much better in a few minutes.." She whispers as she looks him over. "I've also got some bandages..so we're going to fix you up a bit alright?"
He manages a small nod, the tears still falling heavily as he does. Time passes in a blur after that as his brother, and the woman he misses so dearly, carefully get him undressed bandaged and redressed in an efficient fashion. Apparently he even passed out at one point during the process. Because when he wakes there's a small fire lighting the gloomy little area. He can hear and see that more of his brothers had found them. Piled together and sleeping soundly in a couple different cuddle piles.
He can feel Wars hanging onto him with a strong arm around his waist. That golden halo of hair telling him the Captains face is currently buried in his stomach, and he's at least calm enough that he's breathing evenly. He can also smell that it's Wild who's pressed up against his back in a tight little ball despite the fact he's nearly laying on him, but that's where his investigation stops. His eyes already beginning to water as he slowly looks up at the ethereal figure carding fingers through his hair again.
Midna has him held in her lap with a pillow, his cheek resting against her stomach as he gazes at her. Her hood is down, showing that shaggy spiky red hair of hers that she usually keeps hidden aside from her long flowing ponytail.
"You light dwellers and your emotions.." She whispers as she gently brushes away some of his tears. "Stop that now..you've lost enough fluids as it is…"
He sniffles a bit and nuzzles into her touch. Closing his eyes tightly for only a moment before opening them again, afraid that if he looks away for too long she'll disappear again.
"...It's okay..I'm here, and I'm not going anywhere for a while.." She whispers.
"...promise..?" He murmurs softly.
"I promise….so just sleep, Little Beasty…..I'll keep the monsters at bay for you.."

My Ranking of the Zelda Games I've Played
My sisters were ranking Zelda games, so of course I had to join in and overthink everything. So here are my...hot takes? Maybe? I haven't played Four Swords, Minish Cap, Spirit Tracks, A Link Between Worlds, Triforce Heroes, Breath of the Wild, or Tears of the Kingdom.
Ocarina of Time In my opinion, the only Zelda game that fully achieves what I've always wanted from the franchise. It has an epic fantasy story, probably the best music (including music being an integral part of the gameplay and story), distinct and interesting character designs, challenging temples, and THE ACTUAL BEST COMPANION IN THE ENTIRE FRANCHISE NO CONTEST. This Link is also my favorite, as he seems one of the most serious and lonely ones, very fitting for the high stakes of his quest. As a bonus, this is also the only game where you get to switch between being a child and an adult, which makes for interesting gameplay and story ramifications. All the nostalgia is there, but it's not just nostalgia, either. I've played this game so many times (in the original version, Master Quest, and various randomizers) that I'm pretty confident I know at least 95% of everything there is to know about this game. It feels like home.
2. A Link to the Past The one after OoT that comes closest to the ideal. It still has that epic fantasy feel, despite the much simpler graphics - which look very pretty nonetheless, especially in the GBA remake. I think this game has one of the strongest beginnings, because instead of starting you out in a calm little village to ease you into the quest, this game starts you out with Link following his uncle through a torrential thunderstorm to Hyrule Castle, and then coming upon his uncle as he's dying and taking up his sword and shield to go save the princess! The music is excellent (Hyrule Castle a;ldkfjsd;lkfjds;klfj), the temples/dungeons are challenging, and I love the concept of going back and forth between the Light World and the Dark World. (Less cool is Link turning into a pink bunny the first time he goes to the Dark World, but still.) There's a reason this one is a classic. Also, this game has hands-down the best title in the entire franchise. Everyone else can go home.
3. Phantom Hourglass I kind of surprised myself at how high I ranked this one, especially since I've only played it once almost ten years ago. But this game surprised me so pleasantly, I still think of it fondly. First and foremost is my whole theory about how Ciela is actually Navi - that theory healed something that had been broken in my heart for over ten years; I didn't realize how much I needed that until I heard Ciela's cheery little, "Hey!" For that matter, I felt like the whole game was full of fun, endearing throwbacks - mostly to WW, of course, but to plenty of other Zelda games as well, like the island with all the Gorons that plays the Goron music we all know and love. I really enjoyed the twists in the story, simple as they were, and overall the whole thing felt like a bite-sized WW. I've heard a lot of people complaining about having to keep on going back to the Temple of the Ocean King over and over again, but that was actually one of my favorite parts of the game. It was challenging, but in a way that made me want to keep trying - which is more than I could say for most of the temples in the newer games. So, while the art style is not my favorite and the whole game is pretty far from my ideal of what a Zelda game should be, I enjoyed this game so much that I think it deserves to go in my top three.
4. Majora's Mask This is a very solid game, taking a lot of the things that make OoT great and expanding on them. I really like how many NPCs there are and how they all have a story and things you can do to help them. It's also cool to play as Child Link but be able to use a lot of items he couldn't in OoT, like the hookshot or riding on Epona. The music is excellent, and even the new ocarina songs are memorable and distinct. It's really fun and interesting to be able to turn into different races, and all the different effects that come from wearing the masks feels like a natural progression from the mask sidequest in OoT. So, when trying to be objective about this, I have to put this one pretty high on the list, but I just couldn't put it in my top three. The main reason for that is that I find the story very depressing, and the overall feel of the game oppressive. The story is framed by Link's search for Navi, which he doesn't succeed in. The primary theme of the game is death, and no matter how many times you turn back time to fix things again, you know that inevitably the moon is going to fall in three days. It's like a pointless, desperate cycle that you get stuck in, and even if you help someone out with their problems, you have to turn back time again and it's like you never did any of that. The majority of the game makes me feel sad, hopeless, or anxious. So even though I have to acknowledge this is a really good game, I can never really bring myself to replay it.
5. Skyward Sword I ended up really liking this game. Part of that was because of the improved motion controls since Twilight Princess, so it felt more like actually swinging a sword around instead of just twitching your hand (despite the tendency to dorkily run around with your sword sticking straight up in the air). I don't really like the characters as much - they tend to be either annoying or just kind of blah for the most part - but I can't deny that this game is just fun. I had fun with all of the bosses, especially Ghirahim and Demise. And speaking of which, the final battle against Demise/Ganon has got to be the most epic battle in the entire franchise! I have never felt cooler than I did summoning lightning to my sword and smiting the King of Evil with it. I also really liked the Silent Realm levels, as nerve-wracking as they can be. Unfortunately, the game also suffers from a lot of less-than-stellar elements, not least of which is Fi. Ugh, ugh, ugh, worst companion EVER >_< I also didn't really like the Loftwings; they didn't end up being as fun of a gameplay element as they sounded at first. Overall, the temples tended to be pretty but not as challenging as I wanted them to be. And then there's the Oocca x.x What on EARTH. So Skyward Sword is a really mixed bag for me.
6. Oracle of Seasons/Oracle of Ages Since these are very closely linked and I feel almost the same about both, I decided to lump them together. I really like the look and feel of these games; there's something very nostalgic and comforting about them. Oracle of Seasons was actually the first Zelda game I ever played a bit of, and it intrigued me so much that's how I got into the franchise in the first place. So it's kind of funny that I actually only got around to playing these games a couple years ago. But they ended up being really fun, with interesting gameplay and good music. Points get taken off for not having a ton of story, and actually requiring you to trade rings through the Link Cable if you want to explore everywhere.
7. The Wind Waker This is another game that's really pretty solid, but I just didn't care for it much personally. I don't like the Toon Link art style, and didn't find the storyline that compelling. Zelda being Tetra was a really fun way to switch things up, but I didn't like how her personality did a complete 180 once she found out the truth about herself. It would have been more interesting if her piratey side showed through more even as she was trying to be a princess. I did enjoy the world, and it was fun to explore on a boat instead of on foot or on horseback. But it didn't feel much like a Zelda game - somehow, most of the game feels less Zelda-like to me than PH, even though they take place in the same world. Also, while there was some good music in the game, I hated the Wind Waker songs. None of them were memorable, so it was really hard to keep track of which ones did what.
8. Link's Awakening It's kind of a shame that this game goes so far down my list, because it was the first Zelda game I ever owned. I didn't realize what I was getting into, I just wanted to swing a sword around after trying out Oracle of Seasons. Story-wise, I really don't like this game. There's such a dissonance between the cutesy, silly adventures you go on…in pursuit of waking up a flying whale who is dreaming the entire island and all of its inhabitants into existence, so as soon as you wake the Wind Fish up to escape the island, all the places you've become familiar with and all the friends you've made just go *poof*. Yeah, 'cause that's not depressing! The whole game just left me feeling weird and unsettled. If you don't think about any of the implications of what you're doing, though, it's a fun, cute little game, a lot like the Oracle games. I found it much harder than those, though that might have been because I was much younger and less experienced of a gamer when I played this one. I will say that the music in this game is fantastic. I used to go to the square where Marin stands around singing the Ballad of the Wind Fish, and just sit there to let that tune soothe me.
9. Twilight Princess On paper, this one should be one of my favorites, because it seems like one of the games that hits closest to my ideal of what a Zelda game should be, with an epic fantasy story and the fundamental elements of Link going to the castle to rescue Princess Zelda from Ganondorf. But the reason this goes so far down on my list is that I was expecting it to be that ideal, and it fell really short of the mark, so the disappointment was much worse than games like SS, where it didn't look much like my ideal at all, so I wasn't expecting it to be. The concept of Link turning into a wolf is really cool, and I do like how the Twilight Realm is kind of like the Dark World, but distinctly different. Midna is probably the second-best companion; I like how snarky she can be, and she gets more backstory than most companions do. The climax is pretty cool, and I love how Zelda actually takes part in the battle - until SS blew it out of the water, I might have said TP had the best final showdown. There were also some cool new items - the Spinner being my favorite. But I really didn't like the drab color scheme that made everything look the same sort of muddy brown. Instead of beautiful, fantastical locations, everything just kind of blurs together in my mind, till I can barely remember any of it. I also couldn't stand most of the NPCs, who were either annoying, ugly, or both. None of the music was memorable except for melodies they reprised from previous games, and in some cases (like Kakariko Village) they made it so much worse I wish they'd done something completely different instead. And don't even get me started on the awful off-key howling you have to do! When you compare it to the beautiful tunes you can play on the ocarina or the harp…. Yeah, I was mostly just disappointed with this game and never want to play it again.
10. The Legend of Zelda/The Adventure of Link I probably shouldn't even put these on the list, because I never got anywhere close to beating them, but I have played some of them, and the reason I stopped was because I realized I didn't like them at all. I appreciate what they gave us, because if not for the success of these two games, none of the ones I love would exist. But…I just find NES-era games to be practically unplayable, sorry :/ The graphics look really ugly to me, and the gameplay is too clunky. It's gotta be SNES-era or later.

Hey, I’m not sure how to explain this but getting straight to the point, I’m the person who runs the yandere-linked-universe blog and I’m pretty sure you’re pinkittwice.
So, I was just wondering what ideas you might have about the chain being yandere for one person. Like, what would the dynamic be and how they would behave as yanderes, you know that kind of stuff.
I hope it’s not too much to ask but I’m just curious to see what you might think of it since you’re pretty much the only person on the sight that I know of who also writes things involving lu and the reader. I’m not unhappy or dissatisfied in any way but it does get a little lonely being the only person who writes stuff like this. Sorry if this is too weird.
Masterlist
Yahaha~! You found me!
Everybody go check out their stuff @yandere-linked-universe
They do cool art sometimes and are even writing a whole fic which you can find right here.
It's really well written and I'm excited to see how the story progresses and where it goes- especially endgame.
And I'm assuming the ask means if they were yandere in the same circumstance than in the story.
That being said, I'm still going to apply the rules I have set for the Links. Like how Sky was never with his Zelda and similarly how Time and Malon never really happened. As for Wind, he will not be platonic unlike in the fic mentioned above- I will explain this in his section I promise.
Also, disclaimer, I'm not good at horror and I've never written for these types of characters before. But if you want headcanons then I'll provide the brainstorm that I've been cooking up of ever since I got this ask. (And it was a while ago I'm sorry for the wait.)
I'm also including some songs that I think best fit their rose tinted glasses ideal. Not necessarily yandere and can apply to Link being in love with you in general but it's as close as I'm going to get to making a playlist.
I might come back and change them to stalker songs and add these songs to a separate list entirely but maybe not...
Content under the cut!
It's long, brace yourself.
As a group, I think jealously would run high.
Everybody wants the attention of a single person and there's eight other people as competition.
If the group was tight knit as we like to portray them, it won't last long.
If dear reader was a little caring or naturally falls into a healer/medic position in the group, the group becomes more reckless, less caring about their personal safety- if only to get a momentary caress from the love of their life's fingers as their wounds are tended to.
There's less group unity and alliances between them form.
If the reader isn't a fighter well...
They would take turns guarding their prize and fight to be the one to do it.
Leaving you behind when they go to dungeons is a must.
They won't risk you getting a scratch on your person let alone putting you in a potentially dangerous situation.
They try to keep all their weapons away and out of reach. Less you get any ideas and try to fight with them or worse, get hurt playing with them.
Or try to fight against them. HAHAHAHA!! How crazy would that be?
Like you would stand a chance.
When you're simply traveling with the group, your designated spot is on top of Epona, hands down, no questions asked.
Not only would be easier to keep an eye on you, and make it harder to get away, but Twilight has personally asked Epona (through Wolfie) that if they were ever ambushed, she was to take off with you and get away from the fight no matter the cost. She'll always come back to him anyway- so if you're tied to connected to her than all the more reason for him to be the one to retrieve you when it's all over.
The others don't like how Twilight gets to be the one to greet you first. But Epona is on Twilight's side and everyone knows it.
So they wait their turn.
You're on top of Epona even if you're a fighter as well.
If you can prove your salt and fight with them, they actually don't try to keep you away as much as they can (because now it means that they can spend more time with you!)
It instead becomes a competition to be your partner. Among the younger ones anyway.
The older ones, are less concerned now by you fighting, and more by the younger ones who keep trying to be by your side (even if that's their spot) and try to keep them out of your way.
Every bump and cut you get is treated immediately by who ever reaches you first.
It's once again a race.
The group, as yandere's go, do not know how annoying they're being nor do they plan to stop.
If you told stories of your past conquests, it a mixed bag of awe, adoration and anger for you even being put there to begin with. These thoughts are not voiced however, and they instead stew and simmer and grow into their possessive tendencies.
Because they would protect you, honor you, worship you and you wouldn't have to worry about anything ever again. Not if you were with them, not if you stayed with them, not if you were in their Hyrule.
There's a slight knee jerk reaction when you bring out your items to take it away because it's dangerous. But not only would that piss you off, it would take away what little protection you have on your person and they don't want to take any risks when it comes to your safety.
I wouldn't share too much if I were you.
youtube
Now as Individuals they're all different, obviously.
Let's explore that.
Time
He's the most dangerous
I'm starting this off with that
I'm talking the most calculating, scheming and devious of the whole group
He know he's in charge and that the others will listen to him regardless if they actually agree with him or not
Because he's the leader
His grip on the group lessens as time goes by and their unity dissipates
But he's delusional and he doesn't realize it
However, because he's already in this position, he takes it upon himself to take care of you
And others let him
Less work for them to focus on when they can be by your side instead
You never have watch
You're always in the middle of the group
He'd gladly send the boys ahead of you into danger to make sure that they deal with it before you even get there.
The others let him with little thought because it's for you
So they go for it
Time however, is somehow, never the one to go ahead, instead waiting behind (with you) while they go ahead and deal with the issue
He gets away with this 8/10 times
Mostly because he rotates who's he's sacrificing
Dad! Time is not here- not anymore
But he lets them near you because he's only biding his time
You're meant to be
Soulmates, if you will
If a little time with you is all those boys need to stay in line and listen to him then he'll allow it
Because they're only boys
He's a man through and through
They have nothing on him
And you deserve more than a mere boy
He has some other concerns on his mind while the boys fight each other like street dogs
Time has to think about your future together so he daydreams the most out of the group.
He doesn't really have a home and a roof over his head for himself- let alone you and he knows he'd have to change that
He thinks about staying as a permanent employee at Lon Lon Ranch
He can save enough money
Buy a house
Maybe some land
And enough things for you and him to make a comfortable life without any worries
Maybe even start a family?
The dream is a reprieve form the headache that are other boys who won't leave you alone
Pray you don't end up in his Hyrule
EVER
This is just the gateway he'd be waiting for to keep you all to himself
Fighter or not it's dangerous to travel with them
You're in danger
And he won't stand for that.
He doesn't know how exactly he'd do it
But he plans to leave you at Lon Lon Ranch, waiting for him, for when he comes back after the mission
He'd have to find some kind of way to actually keep you there and find you when you inevitably try to leave the Ranch
But he's traveled all over his Hyrule
There's no place you could go that he doesn't know about
As the adult of the group, he'd step over all the others
He's not going to listen to them when they try to stop him
They don't know as much as he does
They haven't experienced as much as he has
He knows that this is the best and only option to ensure that you're safe and well taken care of
He'd doesn't mind leaving you as prisoner to the Gerudo instead either if the others start to really get pushy
It won't be comfortable and it won't be glamorous
But they'll definitely keep you in one place
And he can walk in whenever he wanted thanks to that note from the chief from a time long ago
Pick you up, take you away and you'll be his
He daydreams a lot
And he knows that you'll choose him
You have to
He's the best and only option
He's never felt happier thinking about you and the life you'll both have
He's struggled so much anyway
Maybe you were the blessing the goddesses owed him for all his work in his youth
And surely they aren't so cruel to give you to him and then take you away by some monster attack or some terrible unforeseen fate
He can't have that either
So he'll take the first and best out he's given
But while you're here with him...
He's looking at you like you're magic
youtube
Warrior
Warrior is the least dangerous
He knows the feel of being on the receiving side of someone's obsession
He was ignorant for a long time about it
But he wasn't sure how to feel comfortable in his own skin again when he found out about it
He can see how the others are starting to show similar obsessive tendencies and tries to mitigate what he can
He does a lot of damage control
It's what he's trying to do anyway- he's not very successful
Warrior is the one who's challenging their train of thought
Why do they think this is ok? Why don't they ask you for your opinion? Why do they not give some time alone to recharge? Why don't they lay off?
Because it's totally for your benefit- AND THEIRS
Because it's not ok
He doesn't see himself follow the exactly same train of thought
He doesn't see himself doing what they're doing
He's just annoyed that they're the ones doing it
Warrior becomes the very definition of hypocrite.
However- because he's the one acting as your advocate- the others don't consider him as much as a threat and therefore more inclined to listen to him at this point in time than Time himself
It also means that they don't fight him as much when he wants time with you. Mostly because in their eyes, he's not interested
They're wrong
At some point in Warrior's attempt to keep the group together and keep you from going crazy or hating all of them, he begins to gain ulterior motives in his mission
He begins to play the role in an attempt to win you over.
Because- see, he's not like them
He won't violate your space
Go through your stuff
Or keep you from doing what you love
He's the one to say you should join them in fights, that you should stay, that you can hold your own
Since he's the main strategist in the group, he takes into account your skills and always places you at a distance from the fight or from the most obsessive the group.
He knows that their one track mind could kill you or them and there's still the darkness to defeat.
They don't have the luxury to afford this kind of distractions
When the others aren't paying attention to him, he'd pepper you with compliments and flirty lines, playing up his charm and suave attitude
He becomes the perfect gentleman
You'd never know that he's crazy
Just join him and be with him- that's all he wants
He loves you so what more is there to offer you?
He's got the status, the looks and the means to take care of you so you wouldn't have to worry about anything else
He'd be the best husband that Hyrule has ever seen
He'd hate to have the group scare you off with how over the top they've all been.
He knows the group is being annoying with being by your side all the time and how they don't let you be and how there's always someone by your side even when you're at your final straw
Warrior is the one who takes over guarding you when you need to pee or bath and actively argues on your behalf to let you take care of your hygiene.
He's not always successful but it's the thought that counts right?
Hyrule agrees with him most of the time and since Hyrule seems to be the only one who still cares (somewhat) about the mission, they make an agreement
Warrior isn't at all concerned about the others and know that you'd come around to him eventually.
Since he's not like the others
You're his first thought in the morning, his last thought when he rests his head to sleep and there's nothing that he hasn't been doing that wasn't for you
youtube
Hyrule
Hyrule is the least possessive
Mostly because of his low confidence.
I've mentioned in a previous post that is unrelated to this, his love language is physical touch- so he's all over you
There always have to be some way that he's holding you- whether its a hand on your shoulder or the small of your back, maybe he's holding your hand or maybe he's just pinched the edge of your tunic
But he's careful to not go beyond what you're comfortable with
He doesn't want to you to pull away from him
Because the others will not hesitate to push and pull him away if you so much as hinted at not wanting him near you
So he plays it cool
Hyrule also gets concerned when there's too many injuries to go around and he needs to heal the group
Because if you hurt then he can't spare anything else to help you
It's one of the few things he thinks that he's useful for- so if he can't do this little thing for you then why does he bother?
There's so many other guys here that could easily sweep you off of your feet and have so much more to offer you
He doesn't have any land
He doesn't have a house
His Hyrule... isn't the most welcoming and he doesn't like the idea of bringing you from one dangerous situation to another
Especially since he's being hunted for sport back home
It doesn't stop him from trying to win your heart obviously and he tries to show you and win you over in whatever little ways he can.
He's the gentlest with you
Whatever hurting you, he'll heal
Whatever scaring you, he'll deal with
Whatever danger comes your way, he'll end it's miserable existence
He- like Time- daydreams a lot but he's trying to live for the moment
He's almost resigned in a way- that you won't pick him
He knows they're on borrowed time, he knows that something dangerous can take you away from them or that he could be the one to be taken away instead
So he's trying to make up for it in the time that you do have together and spend every second by your side that he can
Because the group gets a little more reckless in their attempts to impress you and be dealt with (whether you're healing them and tending to their wounds or just yelling at them)
He heals the group a lot little less
If they're going to be stupid and get hurt- then he's not going to waste his magic when they're only going to do the same thing the next day
Soon, with enough time and patience, Hyrule begins to hoard all the healing potions as well.
It's an attempt to keep them away from you so when they're hurt he can step in and just get them healed up in a minute
But it also works to keep the group from getting too reckless
It's not his intention but he takes it as it is
If they get hurt too much anyway then that just means less competition for him to deal with and a higher chance with you!
Because of his low confidence about you actually ending up with him, he becomes one of the more mission minded of the group, probably right after Warrior
Since they both have their sights on eradicating the darkness instead of focusing on their love lives (for different reasons) this is the first alliance to be formed
Hyrule wants you to be his but he's at a crossroad
He knows Warrior has a lot of charm to win you over and has the means to make sure you live a good life
He knows it's more than he can ever give you
But he's fairly certain he can take Warrior in a fight
One well timed Thunder Strike and Warrior wouldn't stand a chance
Not to mention that they've been fighting side by side now, so he knows what to look for to bring him down
He doesn't think it'll come to that though
Warrior doesn't seem that interested with you anyway so he doesn't worry about him
Which just leaves the problem of winning your heart
He wonders what life would be like he can love like you do
youtube
Twilight
Twilight is the most protective
It's his wolf instincts and his caretaker instincts combined.
He's used to being the one to look after everyone else
Being his village's primary babysitter and all
But wolves are family animals and they protect their mates
He's the one to fight to keep you away from the fights, whether you can handle yourself or not
He can Four agree with this and it's the second alliance that forms
You must be protected at all costs and there's many things around that can injure you, or worse
So they both try their hardest to keep you safe and secure
If bubble wrap existed in Hyrule you would have been wrapped in it and then wrapped again for good measure.
He's the first to run up to you and the first to drag over Hyrule or someone with a fairy or a potion to treat you
He's not afraid to start punching anything that dares to threaten you
Forget the sword
He'll just start swinging... or maybe just go full Woflie even if he's not in his form and go for the jugular
He lets you ride on Epona more often than not and refuses to let you work more than you should
He's quick to carry things for you
He tries to impress you by being a handy man and tries to fix whatever he can get his hands on for you
He's not good at it
But he tries
His love language is acts of service so he's trying
You don't really need his help though
But let him get it out
And tell him that he's doing a good job please, for your sake
He talks a lot about his home life with you and he ask a lot of questions about your own
He's comparing notes
Trying to see what way of life you'd be more comfortable with and how he can accommodate to it
He tries to win you over with the simple life and he paints pretty pictures of having a ranch and a farm and letting you have all and any animals you want
Wolfie make an appearance every other day instead of simply whenever it's convenient
If you're a dog lover then it's even better.
Twilight is not afraid of taking advantage of it to give you all the kisses and cuddles he can get away in his other form
The others would have to fight the each other just to get kisses from you but Wolfie gets special privilege's
He gets kisses no problem
He's not above using it to his advantage
Epona is always on Twilight side and while he's in wolf form, he tells her all about you and how much he loves you and all the ways he finds you amazing and spectacular
Because you're riding Epona more often than not, he tells her to watch after you and to keep your safe and to get to a safe area if they ever get ambushed
She doesn't know how human romance works, so she agrees.
Link is her master and her best friend, so she trusts him with her life and you're important to him, clearly, so you're important to her too
He's not going to lose you like he lost Midna
She left him behind with barely a glance behind
You won't leave him at all
He'll make sure of it
The others won't take you away from him either
Four seems to be the one who's most on his side right now and together they can lessen the competition
He'd hate to fight the guy and maybe they can come to an understanding but he knows he's got the brute strength that Four lacks not to mention Wolfie and Epona as well
So maybe he'll listen to reason
His world used to be so grey with no change in either direction
An eternal twilight
You became his light in the gloom
youtube
Sky
Sky is the least violent
He actually falls in the middle of both protectiveness and jealousy.
But he's more set on letting each of the boy pick each other off (not unlike Time) and then he'll figure out who's left over to deal with them then.
Sky also isn't one to fight off the other people who you interact with
He's not going to go confront the person or drag you away and definitely not going to start swinging
He still feels uncomfortable if you aren't by his side but he'll make up for it when you're done by sticking to your hip
Sky doesn't want you to feel cramped by only talking to the group
But he does get a little jumpy when you're beyond his line of sight.
That being said- he will let you out of his sight
Not for long periods of time, mind you, but he's not going to be in your shadow the entire time or demand to be glued to your hip
He's arguably the most normal out of the group- the least yandere if you will
Still crazy though
Sky is also one to agree with Warrior and Twilight.
He's not a part of any alliance but between wanting you to be safe and still wanting you to be healthy and clean (he knows how being clean helps out ones moral and he doesn't want you to be depressed when you're with them) he'd let them do the fighting and arguing for him and when they lose a bit, he'll say something and add to their cause
He's trying to be chill and he plays on his harp when you're nearby.
If you come sit next him to listen and chill- he will absolutely be over the moon
He will go through some of your things to make sure you have anything and everything you'd need for their adventure
But he won't take away your weapons or go through your diary (he wouldn't be able to read it anyway)
He does try to ask you in some roundabout way if he has permission to do that.
It'll be long winded and vague and a total play on words, so be careful to what you agree with when he asks something of you
Sky although is the least violent, that's in regards to other humans
Monsters have learned to keep away from him when he's on the battle field and if they haven't learned that...
They will
He's the one that tries to have your relationship mature and grow naturally.
Sky is going to simply be your friend first and show you that he has your best interest at heart
So when you talk to him about your problems and how the others are driving you crazy, he'll give you advice, tell you he's on your side and openly give you outs to avoid the others.
If you want time alone and the others begin looking for you, he'll tell them you went in the other direction and he'll send them on a wild goose chase.
Since he's on your side, he tells you to at least let him know where you're going and for how long so he can distract the others.
He's not concerned about you running away, since the others are going to do the work for him
Four and Twilight and Wolfie can find and hunt you down in a heart beat and you'll be together again
He won't blame you for running away, there's a lot of people who won't leave you alone in the group and it annoys him too
And Hyrule, Wind and Time keep you within the group and close by so he never has to worry about not knowing where you are at all times
Warrior and Wild keep you well fed and well taken care of
And Legend makes sure that you always have a potion on you and has even given some power rings to ensure your safety
So all he has to do is butter you up by being the least persistent of them all and you'll fall for him and you can be together forever and ever and even be the start of Hyrule as everyone knows it
Wouldn't that be nice?
While he may not be the most musically inclined of the group, he's the one to serenade you when he gets the chance
He plays his harp more often than not, trying to get the notes out that he hears in his head when he looks at you
His life was such a simple song before you came along but now... It's a symphony, he wants you to know this
youtube
Four
Four is the most controlling
He's the one putting restrictions on you left and right and is the one to never want you to leave his side- let alone his line of sight.
You see, he's got these voices in his head that bounce ideas off of each other.
When one might be, hey that guy is talking to you
The other responds with, he's close to you too
One might say, you're smiling and it's beautiful
Another says, why is it directed at that guy?
Which snowballs to, you're a little too close, a little too nice, is he flirting? Has he touched you? Is he trying to make a move?
And then he's even more possessive and it grows and spirals and next thing he knows, he's next to you again and chewing the poor guy out for no reason when it was a simple conversation about the weather and directions.
And that's in public
Now add in the threat of monsters and traps and many other dangerous that surround the group as a whole
He's paranoids in the extreme
So when Twilight suggests that they tie you to Epona and keep you where he they can always see you, he's the first to agree
In fact he feels as if Twilight is the only one who's actually looking out for your well being
Wind tries to throw fits and get the two of them to back off but he's just a kid, what does he know? He should know better anyway, he knows how dangerous this journey is going to get, so why is Wind trying to actively put you in harms way?
Twilight a least can get Wind to listen to reason and Twilight's better at explaining it than he is so while Four'll yell, Wind is really Twilight's problem.
He doesn't like the idea of fighting is friends but he can see that well... He's the only to notice that they're not as close as they used to be when you first joined.
He thinks that Warrior can feel it but Four is the one who'll say it out loud.
Four is actually the most trigger happy out of all them, he's not afraid to break character and yell at some poor passerby who's too foolish enough to even look in your direction
He's the angry guard dog in public and it's a little hard to reign him most of the time
Twilight agree with him in this but he's also the one to hold him back
The last thing they need is to be kicked out of town
But if while you're there maybe he can get something for you?
He's the kind of person to make something for their beloved but he only knows how to make weapons and tools
Things that he's never going to give to you and actively tries to keep them away from at all costs
Yes, if you have your own weapons he'll also try to take them away
He'd rather see you angry than injured
No, he does not see how being weaponless in a fight will lead to more injuries and no, he not going to listen to those who try to tell him that.
Maybe he can learn how to make jewelry and gift that instead?
A pretty thing like yourself should be adorned in more beauty.
And he can save enough to make it with rubies and diamonds and any gold that he can salvage in Hyrule
He'd give you and make you anything you want
You'd be dripping in jewels if he had it his way
He also knows that the voices try to point out his flaws and all the ways that he's really not that appealing to any potential partners
It doesn't matter that he's merged and they all have the same flaws
But whenever he's next to you and things are calm, the voices are quiet and he feels like him
youtube
Wild
Wild is the Most violent
Like Four, he does not care if it's a simple conversation, if someone else is taking up your time and attention then he will want to start swinging.
He's usually held back by Warrior and Time since Twilight typically has to restrain Four
But if you're in danger? Real danger?
He becomes the equivalent of the Fierce Deity, no mask required
The battle field becomes a blood bath by his hand alone
Sure the others will want to to cause some destruction as well and destroy any and all threats to you, but Wild goes the extra mile
Forget Twilight going feral, he has an excuse- but Wild?
He'll go ballistically feral, even going as far to drop his weapons to rip into the threats with his hands and teeth
He has to make sure there's absolutely nothing in between you and him
He's not afraid to throw away his whole good guy reputation and even the reputation of the hero in order make sure he's the last man standing
Wild is now taking notes on how the the group fights and how they defend themselves, defend you and try to figure out the best ways to take them down
If there was ever to be a physical fight within the group, he'll not only be a part of it but most likely also the instigator
Wild has already lost all his friends and family before, he can't afford to lose anyone else
Besides his Hyrule has so much more to offer you than some of the others
Not to mention he has his own house- in a safe village- with low monsters around it- and barely any reason to think that he wouldn't be able to provide for you
He's got the rupees he needs from his monster farming and everything's nearby. Whatever he can't get, he can teleport to and he wouldn't have to leave you alone for long periods of time.
Wild goes out of his way to buy you clothes since the others have taken care of your other needs (much to his chagrin)
But he also makes sure you have the best portions of the meals he makes
He keep tracks how much you ate and when
He always there to give you a snack if you even mention of being peckish
He knows the others won't mind if he dotes in this manner
Not only because it's for you...
He has all the food anyway.
When he sees that you're wearing Legend's old tunic, he instantly hates it
He and Legend are less of an alliance and merely on tolerable terms- not that Legend notices or cares- because of this and Wild knows that your clothes have taken a lot battery
He wants to you be warm and protected
But he also has a lot of extra outfits
So he takes a page out of Legend's book and gives you some as well
He's a little disappointed you don't wear them as often but he knows that most of them are specialized for certain terrain- Legend's is more of a catch all kind of deal so he can understand the need for general uses
He's not happy about it
But he understands
The crazy thing is, you wouldn't want to end up in his Hyrule either
Pray you never do
Like Time, Wild has been all over his Hyrule and has traveled to all the nooks and crannies
He knows that he can hide you away without the others ever knowing what happened to you
Not even Wolfie would be able to track you
Why?
Because (and this is from AoC) he can teleport more than one person at a time, so he can just take you far away and somewhere secluded, somewhere where you wouldn't be able to leave
Hebra region? In the cabin where he learned how to shield surf? Or play the snow bowl game?
Gerudo Wasteland?
Akkala Region? With Robbie? It's hard to get past the guardians and the high level monsters...
Or maybe ditch you in the mountains with Paya in Kakariko Village?
Or maybe leave you on the Great Plateau? You can't get down without a paraglider...
Life with you is the only reason he's still on this journey instead of just taking you and leaving
The darkness is still around and it threatens his future with you
But it looks bright in his head when all is over and he's so happy that he met you
Life is now pink! And he won't take off his rose tinted glasses any time soon!
youtube
Legend
Legend is the most possessive
As some people have headcanoned in the past, he has a problem letting things go
He's lost so many people he cares about- he knows that items are a little harder to lose
He's the Collector- the Hoarder
Naturally when he sees something that he wants, he'll stop at nothing to make it his.
However, since he has a problem coming into direct contact with his own feelings, he's projecting
Legend instead tries to keep you at arms length and fails miserably
He doesn't want to fall for someone only to have them be ripped form him again, and again and again,
He cares for the group still even after their disagreements and eventually mistrust
He doesn't want to leave this little family they've made for themselves and has disillusioned himself into thinking that he can save it before it's too late
But in his fairytale ending, you're with him
Legend, though, still knows that their time will end and everyone will eventually go home so by the time everyone begins fighting and jealousy runs amuck, he's trying to hold everyone at arms length
When you don't give him attention, he's prone to get angry and may very well at times act like he hates you
He doesn't like it when you so much as breath in someone else's direction
You're his and his alone, why is anyone else even worth your time and energy?
But he's not going to say this out loud
So he's frustrated with himself and pouts often
So he's stuck in a cycle of self hatred and jealousy and not willing to do something to change it
But when you do give him attention, he's melts into a puddle
He's at your beck and call if so much as say his name
There's very little that he isn't willing to do for you or get for you, anything to make you happy
He's also quick to give you power rings to protect you even if he's against you fighting
Legend is also going to give you an extra tunic if (/when) your clothes take too much damage and they're too far gone for him to fix
It's a power move on his part
Not only does he feel giddy with boyish excitement when he sees you in his old tunic (that definitely has some kind of magical properties to ensure your safety), it's also him marking you as his property
And the others know it
Wild does a similar thing so you can at least have a change of clothes but Legend is quick to tailor them when you're not looking to not fit you and be uncomfortable
He's the one going through your things for sure
He need to know that he's the one who's taking care of you
He needs to know you have everything you need
He needs to know if there's anything that you're lacking so that he can sweep in and provide it for you
He's not really planning on taking out the competition or is planning beyond keeping you by his side for the day
He (like Hyrule) is living for the moment, because he's afraid he's going to blink and you'd be gone and there would be nothing else left for him
But you won't be gone
He's going to make sure of that
He's got tunnel vision for sure
But since he's also trying to not fall for you and get his heart broken, it becomes a game of hot and cold with a whole lot of minefields in between that could set him off for (what looks like) no reason
He hates you- no he doesn't- he wants nothing to do with you- he wants to be your everything- he's not going to write you poetry or braid your hair or fall asleep listening to your heart beat- he would kill for that to be his reality- he hates that you're all he's able to think about now- don't leave him please
He's not crushing
He's not
He is
youtube
Wind
Wind is the least protective- Still protective but arguably not to the degree of the others
You see, he knows that the others protect him because he's the youngest
And he's not blind
He can see that they're just as, if not more, protective over you
He can see how you hate it and how much it annoys you
He's not going to make that same move
And as a bonus, since the others are protecting you anyway, why should he put in the work and protect you as well?
There's enough people watching you all the time
With the others taking care of it, he can plan on winning you over
He's going to give you as much freedom as he's able to get away with
It'll put him as your favorite
This immediately puts him at a crossroads with Four who's somehow a hair's breadth away from tying you up and chaining you together by the wrists
They fight against each other the most
He plans on marrying you
It's honestly in the same degree of young children that say they're growing to grow up and marry their dad or their mom
Because obviously you marry the person you love and you stay with them for the rest of your life
And he loves you.
So that's what he plans to do
Win you over is step one
Then he (and you) just need to wait a few years for him to get older
And then he'll marry you
He does not see a problem with this plan
Typically I make the reader the same age as him to avoid the worst of it but in this case, this does not matter
I'd say that if you're older, he'd get more easily attached to giving you the freedom you've been missing
With him by your side obviously
Because you're older- you're an 'adult'- you can take care of yourself
You're so cool in his eyes
The others, naturally, see a problem with this
Not only out of jealously at the very thought of it not being them to marry you but because they know he's young and if you're older, (say closer to Twilight and Warrior's age) then they can see the problem it'll prove to be for you from a moral stand point
The others (mainly Legend and Four) bully tease him when you're not around about how selfish he is to even think about making you wait, when you could easily marry one of them instead, so why would you ever choose him?
He tries not to let it get to him because he does hang out with you more than they get to- so maybe they're really just jealous that his plan is working
Wind has the more innocent approach to this whole ordeal out of the whole group
His obsession isn't healthy, obviously, but he at least the excuse of being young and not knowing how to deal with crushes
Because he's awkward with it, (and he knows it) he's actually pretty quick to shut away the worst of it when he's spending time with you, less you think he's weird and push him away
Not only does he not want that to happen, but he's heard the others come up to you countless times regarding him and his behavior and if you'd like him to leave you alone
Because they will deal with him if you so much as say one word of annoyance
The choice is yours
If you indulge him when he wants your attention then he's more like himself and becomes the most normal out of the whole group
He becomes the him when you first joined
Before the obsession
Wind becomes your safest bet in terms of keeping your sanity intact and it's the groups saving grace to keep up any illusion that they're still normal
Wind is dealing with a highly flammable vial of puppy love concentrate
All in the form of budding teenage yandere hormones
If you had met him any later in his life, the cocktail would have no doubt exploded into the form of the other's behavior and he'd seem like a completely different person instead
He's almost like a lost puppy, always following you around and being in your shadow
It would be cute if he wasn't crazy
Wind adores you though and he wants you to know that

LU Twili Beast HCs but Only Stupid Opinions
mama mia here we go again
I’m actually gonna have mercy on you guys this time though
Time-
Serious answer: I know canonically he’s also a wolf, you know as the hero’s spirit, however if he wasn’t a wolf, I think he’d be a Lion. They’re the most stay-at-home-dad animals out there yet they are also the most feared. The duality of playing with the kids one second and committing a violent crime the next is perfect Time energy. Also, as someone with a lot of experience with cats, lions are just slightly larger cats. Meaning they are both the smartest and the stupidest motherfuckers out there. They like to act like they’re so sophisticated and intelligent then they walk into a glass door and yell at you for it. I like to think that Time’s maturity is a front and he’s really just as much of a dumbass as the rest of them.
Crack answer: Just a regular house cat, contrary to popular belief, cats care a lot about their people. They bring back dead birds and live snakes because they don’t see you hunting for your own food and don’t want you to starve. I can see Time as one of those outside farm cats that lives off of the mice that gather and becomes besties with all the farm animals. Epona would recognize him instantly and he would find a way to climb on her back without hurting her.
Warriors-
Serious answer: Horse. Not only are they very much associated with war, they’re also beautiful and majestic and are completely willing and able to fucking kill you. There aren’t many other animals associated with war the way they are and have the perfect balance of proud and pretty, and absolutely deadly. They’re also smart and have soulless eyes, just like every other bisexual I know.
Crack answer: Swiftwind from She-Ra. if you know, you know. If any of them could pull of being a unicorn with rainbow wings and fabulous hair it’s definitely Wars. Anyway, drama queen with the capacity for great violence.  What is a unicorn if not a horse with a built in sword growing on it’s forehead. Also I think Warriors deserves a little magic, I mean one of his main weapons is a fire rod and he constantly talks to fairies.
Legend-
Serious answer: In canon he is a rabbit, but I think he’s much more of a ferret. they’re just ferocious little snake kittens. They fit in small places and can wiggle out of any predicament. Despite being adorable, they can look fuckin pissed. I’m kind of scared of them.
Crack answer: Chihuahua, small fashionable asshole. Filled with rage and anxiety but ultimately pretty misunderstood and deserves better.
Hyrule-
Serious answer: Fox. Idk what to tell you, they’re clever and cute and are associated with fae and trickster spirits. Also I feel like foxes have anxiety and are a little jumpy. He’s mischievous and doesn’t know how to follow orders and thoroughly enjoys fucking around and not being there for the fallout.
Crack answer: The magic alien lion in She-Ra. Just a kibby made of magic adopted by gay people. Cautious and not super trusting at first but he’s a good judge of character and is surprisingly very nice. Also literally made of magic. And I think it he also deserves some lion imagery to show his courage and all that. He deserves to be cool and badass guys.
Sky-
Serious answer: An Eagle. I really wanted him to be a bird because of course, and eagles are like the most majestic badass birds out there. They’re associated with freedom and leadership and as he’s kind of the first reincarnation of Link, I think he deserves to have that kind of symbolism attached to him.
Crack answer: Pikachu. Cute and adorable but has the power of god on his side and can smite you, but you really have to deserve it because he’s generally super chill. Like if remlits could choose when to go apeshit. He has some self control. Sometimes.
Wind-
Serious answer: Parrot. Like a one of those macaws that are blue and green. They’re smart and clever and the most piratey animal ever. They’re also loud and talkative. They’re also cute and I love them. I feel like if a parrot were to engage in combat it would be very agile and loud about it. Like Wind. Like it would do dramatic flips and shit like how Wind does that rolling dodge constantly.
Crack answer: this crab

Four-
Serious answer: 4-5 mice, they’re all color coded. They’re smart and sneaky and small. I feel like they would climb on top of each other. I know rats are smarter and four deserves to be smart but mice are smaller and cuter. Maybe shadow is the rat in the group of mice...
Crack answer: a swarm of bees. These bitches know teamwork. Have you seen a beehive? that shit is modern art. They’re also chill unless you hurt one of them, then you’re really in for it. You underestimate bees yet you fear them, some of the greatest predators are bees. They deserve your fear. And so does Four.
Twilight-
Serious answer: I like him being a wolf, I think it fits, however I do also like the idea that he’s not 100% wolf. He’s like half domesticated dog and he just looks like a wolf. No one really knows though. I just don’t think the wolf fully shows how much of a good boy he is.
Crack answer: He wanted to be a fuckin ordonian goat let him be a fuckin goat. Their horns are stupidly impractical but he seems like the type that wants a simple life. He’s had enough chaos and trauma and he would be very happy just to chill out for like fifty more years until he dies. He deserves to nap in the sun and eat grass and not be forced to have thoughts. Also goats are stronger than they look and can probably break all your organs with a headbutt. Twilight would just be the most badass goat out there.
Wild-
Serious answer: As much as I like him being part of the wolf trio and thus making him a wolf, I think he’s much more like a Jaguar. (or a smaller wildcat like a Lynx or a bobcat) Cats are stealthy predators and good climbers and known for being great hunters. They’re also good at falling long distances and in botw I’m constantly jumping off of very tall places. But they are still cats and that means they’re naturally a little weird. Big cats are also affected by zoomies/ bouts of restlessness that cause them to run around and yell about it, and they play with their food and enjoy napping in the sun. He could also be a cheetah because they get so anxious that they need their own emotional support dogs and they’re very fast and Wild has the capacity to be incredibly fast.
Crack answer: Raven, clever, death omen, collects things, witchy, being gay and doing crimes babey. As a concept he isn’t scary but he definitely has the capacity to be absolutely terrifying. He may look edgy but he’s really just a little guy who likes to hoard stuff and things. And is likely to stab you for those stuff and things.
