got a SICK zonai shield from the shrine by dueling peaks

no more guardians in the field behind dueling peaks...i can't believe they're really gone. rip kings

ran into a literal roadblock re: monster forces. i still don't know how to get the gang together to fight them...maybe i can go around for now?? is it a series of sidequests i missed the beginning of?
