[I fear the end. I fear the never-ending. At the port of call beneath it all. We are phantoms connected by light. What bridge has collapsed so that no one gets home? A prolonged farewell to the travelers of the night.]

The reason I’ll advocate for Leo 100% of the time is because some of y’all don’t know how it feels to be a lonely child in a family full of children, who disregard you and your feelings.

Meet the lass who faced a Kraken and lived to tell the tale. Captain Nerida of the Blinding Beacon, Titankiller, and seeker of the Star Jewel.
My dm pc/lackey I created for simple Rapscallion games! She's the daughter of a nefarious pirate who is an ex-navy officer. The ship she sails is a stolen Naval vessel that's been remodeled into a pirate ship.
The first one-shot was simply to replace her lost parrot, thanks to her two first mates. What better companion to have than one you can talk to? So the crew sails out to steal a Leviathan egg or two. Somehow..it worked!

i'm pretty certain that neil jordan drew inspiration from george bataille's research on cain and abel, specifically 'erotism: death and sensuality,' when crafting the rivalry between cesare and juan. the sexually charged nature of nearly every scene they share strongly suggests this connection. david oakes and françois arnaud were too serious about it as well as they were laying it on thick with their little improvisations throughout the show. obviously it's worth noting the presence of the emotional incest within the entire borgia family, with physical boundaries being crossed between lucrezia and cesare. david's remark about juan's desire to be involved with his siblings' affair further solidifies juan's yearning, frustration, confusion, and long-standing sentiments towards cesare which parallels george bataille's research that i mentioned earlier...

Oh and One more thing. I think it's fucked up anyone can just go and explore the titanic wreckage. Because it's not just a wreckage it's a graveyard. A massive graveyard in the middle of the ocean. Out of the 1500 that died onboard only 337 bodies were found. But you don't find bodies you find shoes , because everything else like cloth and metal and flesh and bone has just been deteriorated and eaten away by the water and the creatures and the bacteria.

Having a secret byler blog on tumblr while pretending to be totally normal about the show and the ship in real life is like living a double life. The only problem is that it’s not “the best of both worlds” because when you do say something actually insanely smart regarding the show/byler to someone in real life, they will totally make fun of your opinion because they don’t get that what you just said is actually based on amazing deep dive analysis of thousands of people in the byler tag……
