I ate something experimental like a week ago to see if I could and I haven’t had a day since where I’ve been able to properly digest food and I’m so tired. I’ve had to leave work early every day I was scheduled since because I can’t eat enough to power me through a day without making myself sick.

One Simple Way To Maintain A Healthy Digestion!
My name is Samuel Bart.
I am 49 years old and I live with my wife, Alma, in Nashville, Tennessee.
I have always been passionate about plants and their ability to keep us healthy. Therefore, I have been researching some of the best natural ways that could help anyone support a healthy digestive system.
So, what I did was to perfect an easy, yet powerful formula, which consists of amazing ingredients, such as Psyllium, Bentonite Clay, Black Walnut, Oat, Flaxseed, Prune, Aloe Vera, L. Acidophilus, Apple Pectin and Glucomannan.
And I will be more than happy to share it with anyone who needs it.
A formula that will support the health of your digestive system, keeping you energized and active.
Before turning this formula into a supplement, I made sure that it is:
NATURAL
Ingredients sourced from local growers that let plants naturally reach their full maturity and use no chemical treatments.
EFFECTIVE
Mixing the right ingredients in precise amounts to keep their properties intact.
After we had a third party verify the purity of ingredients, we finally created a product we are extremely proud of:
Designed for your journey towards a healthy digestive system
I called it Synogut.
Every capsule is made here, in the USA, in our FDA approved and GMP certified facility, under sterile, strict and precise standards.
Synogut capsules are non-GMO. You can rest assured that they do not contain any dangerous stimulants or toxins, and more importantly, they are not habit forming.

something i rarely see addressed on here in discussions of transmasculine bathroom issues is the difference between men's and women's rooms, and the way it excludes transmascs with vulvas.
I am a trans man pre-surgery of any kind. ideally i would like meta with UL, but for euphoria reasons primarily- STPs are expensive and a hassle, so i have no issue sitting to pee. i am 11 months on T and do not pass. using the women's room bothers me, but i live in the southern US so it's safer. i have no issue dealing with it to quickly piss and leave. what i do have an issue with, is when someplace claims to be trans inclusive, but in practice, is not.
i had a pretty awful night. my boyfriend and i had been planning to try out a local goth nightclub for weeks, and we finally got the chance to go. when walking in, there was a sign on the door that said "no racism, no homophobia, no transphobia..." etc. i was excited, thinking that i may actually be able to use the men's restroom for once! a few drinks in and the urge hit- i was feeling anxious, so i asked a staff member if it would be safe for me to use the men's room. "yes of course, we are very inclusive, there are plenty of trans people here." in i went and....
5 urinals, and one single stall- which was out of order.
i turned around and used the women's room. i had no choice. of course, there were 6 stalls in there.
this is not the first time i have experienced issues with men's rooms having a single stall- at a gay strip club, i ran into a similar problem, where the single stall in the men's room was not out of order, but instead, had a line of 20+ people. i, and a few other guys, opted to use the women's room instead of waiting (clearly this design flaw hurts cisgender men as well!)
men's rooms being built only with people with penises in mind, and often all but excluding anyone who needs a stall, is an issue that needs to be addressed far more often.
edit: ive seen a few people in the notes adding their own experiences outside of transmasculinity, saying that they don't want to derail- i want to make clear that nobody is derailing. this issue absolutely intersects with transmisogyny, ableism, and general androphobia (which i define as the way patriarchal expectations hurt all men, not any group systemically oppressing men.) keep adding on your own experiences. this issue affects everyone who has ever needed to use the men's bathroom.

Pills, Pills, Pills
Just put up a new post about PILLS. And Motley Crue...sort of. Come and check out what I had to say!
As I say that, I’m thinking of the tune ‘Girls, Girls, Girls’ by the 80s hair band Motley Crue (though I believe they’re still kickin’ it…just not as well). I’m on a lot of meds. Not just for Crohn’s, but for mental health reasons as well. To keep it tidy, we’ll talk about what’s going on with the Crohn’s meds. That is, after all, why we’re here. I may talk more about my mental illness diagnoses…

Honestly? If something helps you, use it. You don’t have to be chronically ill or disabled. If it helps, you can use it.
I used to force myself to stand while showering, shaving, brushing my teeth, folding laundry. Why though? If sitting makes the task easier, I’m allowed to do it.
I used to love going on long walks and even hikes before I started feeling so weak and out of breath all the time. The experience was soured by my chronic pain. And you know what? I started looking for a large stick to use as a cane every time my friends take me on a hike. They laugh at me. So what? It makes the experience better for me.
I don’t have to wear tight clothes that make me feel like I’m suffocating. If I look 20% less attractive in my comfy sweater and baggy pants, who cares? Who am I trying to impress? Isn’t it better to be 20% more comfortable instead?
Why force myself to overeat if it makes me sick? Please pack up the rest for me so I can eat it later. It’s not that I hate your cooking, I’m respecting my body’s needs. Why force myself to stay awake when I need rest? Let’s continue having fun tomorrow, when I have the brain capacity to do so.
Respect your body. Respect your limits. I know it fucking sucks when you’re not able to do the things you could do in the past anymore. It sucks losing that life quality, probably forever. But you can make your suffering a bit more bearable. Please do so.

Students with food intolerances deserve a safe, free lunch too. Failing to provide that because you think it’s unnecessary is just ableism. “Eating this food causes them pain because their body can’t digest it, but it’s not life threatening so we don’t need to accommodate it” is such a bad take. Yes, let’s just make them sick every day instead of giving them the option of safe, free foods to eat. So poor kids will have to choose every day if they’re going to starve themselves or if they’re going to be in excruciating pain the rest of the day when they’re trying to learn. Makes no sense.
Furthermore, I don’t think people realize what food intolerances entail. It’s not just, “oh, eating this food gives me a stomach ache.” It is often caused by the body’s inability to break down the sugars in the food because the pancreas and/or the small intestine doesn’t make enough digestive enzymes. People with food intolerances can have a number of disabling conditions, especially because of malnutrition and malabsorption. I am dependent on digestive enzyme supplements, as well as vitamins because I can’t eat and/or get the nutrition I need to thrive without them. This is disabling. Yes, even if it’s not going to immediately kill me if I eat the wrong thing.
Don’t put people in places where they’re required to work, promising that food will be provided for free, and then only provide foods that will make them sick.
