can someone ask about my au so i can actually work on it-?

ive got a lil plot, most most of its for the beginning and little snippets for in-between scenes.

the "og" sans and papyrus are actually gonna be from an au that im making rn, so the fic will hint as much as it can.

the character designs are a goddam struggle- i literally struggle to draw fanart for anything that ist my art style. The changes arent gonna be major, just something to make these characters stand out.

for now im thinking that i want gaster alive and not in the void, bc morally gray dadster is great and i love him sm

charaters like mettaton and asgore (maybe possibly napsablook and grillby) are prolly gonna assist to the plot- idk

i still dont know what to call the au

my goal for the fiction is atleast 30 chapters, 60 to really challenge myself. and if not chapters, then atleast 150,000 words at minimum.

im gonna be inspired by a lot of authors, so ur gonna see that a lot in the credits n stuff.

i want it ito be a half crackfic, but also something that has nice world building, plot and (i rlly dont wanna say this but *sigh*) drama.

while refraining it from suggestive content (bc reader is gonna heavily be based on me), i want reader to be as chaotic and funny as possible.

Gaster headcannons for a few of my favorites :)

Very short but im having writes block rn so</3

Classic gaster was a Dadster and i fully believe this he would read them bedtime storys, when Classic was a kid Gaster would show him different planets in books and describe the nightsky when Original was a kid Gaster showed him how to solve a Rubik's cube so baby pap would try and try then he got it and ran to Gaster when he did and Gaster spun him around and told pap how proud he was of him, and when he disappeared Classic was able to raise papyrus to be great 50/10 dad

Underswap Gaster wasnt the best but also wasnt the worst, while he was almost never home so stretch and blue had to pretty much raise themselves and stretch took the role of "dad" and even started to steal things when SwapGaster forgot to but groceries, but when he was around he would bring gifts and give them a ton of love and apologize for work then he'd be gone the next day, when he was home stretch would steal Gasters cigarettes and thats how he started smoking at like 13 and the reason why they're both so independent and they both knew how to take care of themselves before he disappeared 5/10 dad

Underfell Gaster is one of the worst out there, looked at his kids as test subjects and nothing more so when Fell started to rebel against him the punishemts just got worse and worse until he threatened to hurt Edge and thats when Fell started becoming compliment so after he kinda disappeared Fell made sure Edge was the best he could be -10/10 dad

Horrortales Gaster was the one to find out the population would fall into hunger so he started to stockpile food for his kids and out of his anxiety from not having enough food Horror also developed it so he wouldn't eat until Gaster and Papyrus ate, Gaster cought on to that so he started becoming more layed back about until he disappeared and Horror found his research before the food shortage 10/10 dad

Dusttales Gaster is basically the same as Classics but to add a little salt to the wound he was extremely good at teaching Dust how to regulate his emotions since hes had a hard time with that and would get angry easily and he would bring Dust to work while papyrus was at school since Dust had a huge love for chemistry, and when he disappeared he had a slight breakdown but was able to take care of his brother 100/10 dad

- gaster is generally a very neat person but his lab can only be described as organized chaos. he loves when you visit him at work and will “forget” his lunch at home just so you’ll show up and bring it to him. this is a mix of him missing you, him wanting to show you off to his coworkers, and wanting to show you what hes been working on.

- much to your dismay, he doesnt exactly adhere to lab safety procedures. its an ego thing, he thinks hes too good to have something blow up in his face. you’d think he’d learn his lesson, but obviously not. its a running gag in the office how many times gaster has to use the chemical shower. one time you caught him drinking coffee out of a beaker and freaked out so hard you managed to get him to promise never to do it again.

- you are probably the only person on the planet who can get gaster to not do something he wants to do. hes stubborn, if he has his mind set on something it will take near god-like power to stop him. but with you, puppy eyes will suffice. he will be kind of huffy about it though.

- (the only other person who can hold a candle to your power is papyrus. i am a fan of dadster.)

- gaster is generally uninterested in social media. he has a facebook he hardly uses outside of keeping up with his friends and family, but will excitedly update his relationship status on facebook when you make it official. he’ll make a huge event about it, light a candle, pour some wine, put on some mood music and then cuddle by the fire as you both update your facebook statuses from single to in a relationship.

- he travels a lot for work and kind of drags you along with him. if you like to travel this is definitely a win for you. unfortunately because its for work, he won’t have a lot of time to spend with you, but he will always make sure youre not bored. he really appreciates you coming with him, so he tries to show that in little ways. like ordering you delivery or twxting you places he thinks you might like to go. he also treats you on fancy dates whenever he has time off. the whole shebang.

- he gets cold easily, especially his hands. theyre like ice cubes. to mess with you, he will stick his cold hands on the back of your neck and laugh when you shriek. he’ll insist to you he just wants to warm them up, but you can see his gloves hanging out of his pocket.

- knows how to ballroom dance and would love to teach you. he’s incredibly tall, like absolutely towers over you kind of tall, so it will be a bit of a learning curve. he’ll put on music and dance with you in your living room, unable to look away from you.

sorry this took me so long my brain is empty and ive never wrote my hcs down before so i had to try to remember them 💀

also dont mind the spelling errors you may find i wrote most of these half awake

Arbiter (Undertale Sans):

he really likes outdated memes. the older they are, the funnier.

he doesn't really remember resets, he depends mostly on Frisk to either fill him in on why they did it, or cues that they have already been in this situation before. he's aware that something isn't right and that deja vu shouldn't be lasting for this long...

he also gets dreams that are basically memories of past resets. good or bad memories, they always leave him feeling awful. it's either a timeline he could have had, or a timeline where he lost everything

gaster is their father because i love dadster but the reason i'm mentioning this is because he sort of forced arbiter to learn about astrophysics so he could have someone he could rely on no matter what. when no one else would believe in his skills to get them to the surface, he knew his own son wouldn't turn on him

so, yes, that implies the machine in the basement lab was supposed to get then to the surface. after gaster fell into the core (with arbiter watching), arbiter took over. he learned everything he knew from gaster, but he didnt learn everything so it wasn't enough knowledge to continue past a certain point.

he befriended grillby because grillby and gaster used to be friends and gaster would take arbiter to the bar for breaks between working on the machine. grillby later became a reminder of gaster, and it comforted him slightly

when he and champ were children, gaster was often too busy being the royal scientist so he raised champ basically on his own. it made him realise how hard it is to raise a kid and he would never want to do it again.

he's perfectly fine without his own children, but he'd be more than happy to be the cool uncle to both frisk and, if champ ever wanted children, them too

him and toriel are besties 😫😫 entirely platonic because i said so 😐 admittedly, he did used to have a crush on her while the two traded jokes through the door but when he learned she was the queen and was much older than him, the crush sort of died

he prefers baths over showers because one time he fell asleep in the shower and fell over and knocked down every single bottle. he's scared he'll fall again so at least if he falls asleep in the bath, all he has to worry about is waking up in cold water

Champion (Undertale Papyrus):

he takes his job as monster mascot super seriously, and he's become quite famous!

he wants to see the best in everyone, he wants to believe everyone is capable of kindness

he's not as naïve as he appears, he knows so much more than he lets on

he really likes those street performers, specifically the magicians. it's so cool to watch humans doing card tricks! he wants to learn

REMEMBER HOW HE LITERALLY FLIES OVER YOUR HEAD AFTER HIS FIGHT IN THE GAME? it's gravity magic, but he actually does it a lot its SO FUNNY

he'll just start floating over someone if they're in his way but he doesn't want to bother them I LOVE HIM SO MUCH

controversial take but he can also shortcut 🤨🤨 he just doesn't much because running builds his muscles even if he doesnt have any...

he is the funniest person you will ever meet, and most of it is unintentional too. he's just such a silly lil guy

we all know arbiter thinks he is the coolest, but champion thinks arbiter is the coolest. only the coolest monster alive could raise the great champion!

i used to have a headcanon that, when he got to the surface and the royal guard pretty much disbanded, he would pursue a job as a physiotherapist. i think this headcanon mostly started as a self indulgent "what if papyrus was my physiotherapist" for when i needed physio after i dislocated my knee for the second time, but i think it would honestly fit him! he'd get to help people heal, all while encouraging them to stay fit!

Phobos (Underfell Sans):

he doesn't like puns because he's not clever enough to make them. he can tell a mean knock knock joke, though

he's such a big car guy, he has little models of them and everything. his goal is to restore at least one old car in his life, he doesn't ever care what kind

he's really reclusive. not for any reason, he just prefers to be alone

YOU KNOW SUSIE FROM DELTARUNE? he laughs EXACTLY like her, head throw back, one hand over his eyes and the other on his stomach

he hates his brother's cat with a PASSION. she's always in his room and getting her fur all over everything

it isn't just doomfanger he doesn't like, either. he doesn't like most animals. they either need constant attention or they're messy, even worse if they're both.

while he doesn't like pets, he'll gladly keep plants. he's not exactly the best at caring for them, they often end up either over watered or forgotten, so his brother has to take care of them but he loves them <3

he names the plants.

i think its weird when people give him only one HP? like i know Arbiter only has one, but in Underfell they have dust on their hands. they have LV, and it raises your HP, at least if you go off what happens to Frisk when you kill a monster. he's still have really low HP, but it certainly wouldn't be 1. i think it'd at least be in double digits.

Deimos (Underfell Papyrus):

he's really soft on his brother considering the world they grew up in. phobos could have just left him on his own as a child, but he didn't. it's his own way to show his brother how grateful he is

i hate everyone who gave them an abusive relationship fuck you guys/th family comes first if you're not protecting your family in this world you are shunned. so no, he doesn't be mean to his brother to "keep up appearances", they are NICE TO EACH OTHER and they LOVE EACH OTHER even if it tough love. maybe that's all they know because of their violent world 😡😡

he's actually a big baby. and the only one who knows is his brother.

HONESTLY he's not as mean as people make him out to be. he's a really big nerd, he would totally love silly nerd things like Sci Fi movies and stuff

he really likes the Nightmare on Elm Street movies. he'll fight his brother (a notorious Friday the 13th fan) that Freddy is better than Jason

he's really strict and, in a world that's Kill or be Killed, he would still follow any laws still in place to a T. he is OVERWHELMED by the amount of laws he has to remember on the surface, but he would rather die than do something illegal.

he literally won't even jay walk like dude it's fine no one cares 💀

he's a very good cook because i'm a sucker for that sort of thing. he still originally "learned" how to cook from Undyne, but when he saw how horrible of a cook she was, he decided it'd be best if he learned on his own

doomfanger was literally picked up off the side of the road. deimos is a sucker for cute animals and he would probably bring in any stray he saw if his brother didn't stop him

Firefly (Underswap Sans):

while he does own a motorcycle, his main mode of transportation is a dad van. one of those minivans that have a tv in it and the doors have buttons to open and close them

he is very obviously the older brother

tacky tourist dad outfits

he's the dad friend.

he is the older brother and he likes puns and he has 1 HP and you can pry that hc outta my cold dead hands. actually no you cant cuz ill hold onto it in death 😋😋😋😋😋

he didn't join the royal guard because he wanted to, he did it because he felt like it would help protect his brother if anything were to happen. the only reason he isn't allowed to actually join the guard is because of his low HP

Meridian (Underswap Papyrus):

he started smoking as a way to calm his anxiety and grew dependent on it. he knows how much it bothers his brother so he is trying to stop the habit, switching to suckers instead.

he's really good at art but he gets embarrassed whenever someone wants to look at it cuz he thinks it's bad

he doesn't necessarily dislike puns, but he pretends to just so his brother will make more. it makes him really happy to see firefly enjoying his horrible humour

he's the judge in his AU but, unlike Arbiter, he doesn't have karma so he has to use more powerful attacks if Chara ever went on a geno run

Leo (Swapfell Sans):

as said here; they have the aesthetic/looks of fellswap red, although i think i like the outfit for fellswap gold sans more 😇😇

older brother

he's not as mean as he appears to be, it was mostly to keep up a scary reputation so less monsters would bother him and his brother

he has relaxed significantly while on the surface, putting up less of a "tough guy" act, now only one when needed

he hates human politics soooo much. they are all stupid and crooks. granted, his own queen is a tyrant which isn't much better, but at least she is honest with her crimes

if i wanted to make him the oldest out of everyone, i CAN 😡. he is 53 in human years and he is tired and he just wants a glass of wine please just let him have a single glass of wine

he's super busy all the time and he hates it 💀 he is still a sans, he still likes to be lazy

Cav (Swapfell Papyrus):

he has the biggest sweet tooth

he doesn't talk much, due to just being shy

his physical looks is similar to fellswap red papyrus.

he falls in love really easily and tends to get hurt more often than not due to his little puppy crushes

he likes to game, mostly cutesy farm simulators like stardew valley or other games like that, but he also really enjoys online games like COD or Overwatch :)

SPEAKING OF GAMES OH MY GOD he would love genshin impact and he would grind for primogens and somehow he would ALWAYS GET THE CHARACTER HE'S WISHING FOR.

Pisces (Horrortale Sans):

semi-nonverbal

his head injury makes it hard for him to get words out, and even then, his mind is pushing through so many thoughts that he'll lose track of what he was saying midway through.

he has taken to write down what he wants to say, that way if he forgets halfway through, he can just read what he already has written to try and jog his memory.

i'm pretty sure it's canon that he never ate humans?, but yeah he hasnt 😇😇

this isn't a hc about him, but i like to think that Frisk never willingly left them. in their timeline, monsters were targets of a lot of hate crimes so they RESET and did a neutral run. they didn't want the monsters to miss them, so they didn't bother befriending any of them, which led to Undyne taking over instead of Toriel. if they knew what happened after they left, they would have figured something else out. Pisces thought they just didn't like them anymore and wanted to leave them behind.

OKAY so you know how he is a part of the bad guys? WELL IT'S NOT BECAUSE HE IS A "BAD GUY", GRIMM JUST SAW POTENTIAL IN HIM AND GAVE HIM A WAY OUT OF THE FAMINE!!!!! he's mostly like a dad who can cook really well and acts more like your friend than your dad yunno?

he never hurt others because he wanted to, it was just because he wanted to survive </3

if you ignore him being in the bad guys, then the way they got onto the surface in their AU was because he was secretly hoarding the SOULS to the humans he killed and he broke the barrier himself. ugh he's so strong and cool look at him go

Aries (Horrortale Papyrus):

he HATES the braces he has to wear to straighten his teeth. they get in the way and he can't enjoy all the food he wants to.

HE HAS A DOG ON THE SURFACE!!! a really big fluffy great pyrenees. she's beautiful and he takes her to the groomers often to deal with the shedding :) her name is fluffy, named by Pisces

pisces didn't want him to know what they ate during the famine, but he isn't stupid. he's well aware he had consumed human flesh. he feels guilty for it, even guiltier that he had enjoyed it.

despite just being an older papyrus, due to what he has seen and been through, his personality had changed a bit. he has a much shorter temper with others, and he wouldn't allow his guard down around threats.

he makes his own clothes if/when he can because he prefers clothing that fits 🤨

Hop (Dancetale Sans):

he gets really embarrassed while dancing in front of other people. he gets embarrassed doing it alone in his room sometimes too 💀

he's more lethargic than any other sans (quite the feat) but that's mostly because he doesn't really dance all that much and it takes a toll on his body. monsters naturally dance so for him to repress all his urges it strains him physically and makes him more tired

he's good at beatboxing smh

he used to be really confident in himself but with his hope going down, and with him stopping dancing, he lost his confidence

he feels like he'll never be as good as a dancer as he once was which just adds to the reason why he wont dance anymore.

Boleos (Dancetale Papyrus):

LISTEN LISTEN HE IS SO COCKY

like you would not BELIEVE how cocky he is oh my GOD

its okay he had reason to because he is so epic 🙄

he's tried out hiphop once for his brother but he made a fool of himself. he'll claim that day never happened if anyone were to bring it up 💀

he loves reality TV, and i know it's cliche but he loves the dancing shows 🙄 dancing with the stars (he was on that show once), dance moms, any other dance show that i've never heard of...

he is a very famous dancer and he's probably weaselled his way into some broadway show just to flaunt his dancing

Callisto (Outertale Sans):

he is probably my shortest boy

very shy/easily flustered

shut up i just think he is cute and i can make him easily flustered if i want to

this is a popular hc but he floats when he's embarrassed and i love it <3

living in space gives him a boost on astrology. he can identify every single known constellation and he knows really bizarre space facts that most likely no one else would know

the lower gravity of the moon is really handy to him cuz he could jump up and take a nap wherever he wanted. just kick his legs up and fall asleep mid air

Pandora (Outertale Papyrus):

LISTEN HE'S SO FUNNY TO WATCH WALK AROUND he loves playing with the low gravity cuz he'll just start jumping around and it looks like he's basically flying because he also uses his gravity magic like champ ugh

sometimes he gets distracted by it and forgets what he was going to do 💀

sometimes he will float off the face of the planet ON PURPOSE and it always freaks everyone else out because "oh my god how does he keep doing this he is going to get lost in space one of these days"

yeah he's a trouble maker. yeah he thinks its funny to see others reactions. yes he feels bad if he pulls a particularity mean jape. love him <3

Crow (Birdtale Sans):

collects shiny things!!!!

when he gets anxious, he tends to pull feathers from his wings. it helps to ground him, but it also sometimes leaves him with bald spots when he has a panic attack

he loves going flying on the surface, being able to see the world he was locked under really makes him appreciate the beauty of the earth

he'll perch on a tree to nap all the time. despite him being a grown adult, it still makes others worry because they don't know where he is when he disappears for extended hours

Carrion (Birdtale Papyrus):

he also collects shiny things HABAIBD

he prides himself in his wings so he takes really good care of them

he and his brother both have SUPER good memories

he likes to sit high up in trees, especially in the morning to watch the sun rise

speaking of the sun rise, he always wakes up before it to watch it, he loves the pretty colours the sky can make

Aero (Killertale Sans):

shameless

he is a menace to society

he doesn't like others to see his emotions because he's afraid they will use it against him. something makes him happy? he's afraid it'll be ripped from him. something makes him sad? someone may use that against him as a weak spot. he hides behind a mask of indifference towards everything

he doesn't trust easily. not after frisk; not after they've taken so many things from him over and over again until he went insane. he is very good at pretending he trusts someone though. you may think he trusts you when in reality he doesn't at all.

the papyrus he sees is only a figment of his imagination, a manifestation of what he's done to his brother, to everyone in his AU. it isn't nice and it often ridicules him. it goes away when he gets distracted, but when he's alone, the voice is louder than ever. it takes the form of Papyrus because he is the one he regrets having to kill the most

he is very sadistic and he doesn't fight fairly at all. if he knows he is losing, he'll try to distract his opponent to get a few easy hits in. against a weaker opponent, he takes glee in watching them struggle to not get hurt and, eventually, killed

he has one of the highest LVs in the multiverse

Vex (XTale Sans):

he gets really jealous of other AUs and how they all got their stories. he's jealous that he never got that, that his own AU died and left nothing but him (and Chara, technically, but they don't really count)

he still acts as if he is a royal guard, even if his AU is long gone and he no longer has to

he speaks like semi-formally??? like he would always say "you are" instead of "you're" and stuff like that idk

do i think it's funny that he wouldn't know how the internet works? yes. do i also think it's funny that he would use tiktok? absolutely. it is the only social media account he has, and no matter how hard anyone tries to find it, they can't. he has all of them blocked because he's actually kind of embarrassed about it, but he has a lot of followers. he makes sure his face isn't in any of the videos just in case 💀

he may be a part of the bad guys, but he is also really good friends with sunny. they like to go out and spend their afternoons in cafés like cute little old people do they're so silly. they like to tell each other embarrassing secrets the others have it's how sunny found out vendetta actually sings in the shower

Delusion (Error):

uses he/they pronouns!

he makes dolls of the people he is close to, or if he finds them interesting enough

they can tamper with the code of any AU, and if he really wanted to, he could fix any mistakes within the code. they never do, though, as their job is to destroy AUs, not fix them

speaking of, he does what he does because it is his job, he was created to destroy AUs. he mostly takes out aus that arent fully finished or abandoned by the creator

i headcanon him as aromantic asexual. he's more-so demiromantic, and he needs a REALLY good connection with someone to actually be interested

along with haphephobia, they also have a fear of germs. the two fears go hand in hand, bouncing off each other to create a whole mess of situations

that leads into this next headcanon; he used to have a cat but the hair everywhere really bothered both of his phobias so he ended up giving it to graphite to take care of

the cat, originally, was supposed to be a sort of "exposure therapy" to get over his haphephobia because he didn't want to crash just because someone touched him. it didn't work out.

he and fresh and siblings <3 why? because i said so.

Graphite (Ink):

he is a very physical person, always wanting to be touching someone

not held back by meagre things such as GENDER or PRONOUNS! he doesn't mind what pronouns others use, they just mostly use he/him.

he never really feels anything, not even with the paints that give him "emotions". they more so just tempt him to act a certain way, a subconscious message that he should do something that related to that emotion; like cry when "sad"

i like to think he can break the fourth wall in the sense that he is helping creators with their own Au and/or projects within the already existing Aus. it's also mentioned here that he "supports the artist to keep contributing to the fandom".

BOUNCING OFF THE DELUSION HEADCANON, he loves the cat del gave him. he forgot it used to belong to del and now he thinks it's a gift. he won't listen to del saying otherwise because he thinks he is lying 💀

the cat is named doomsday and it was named by del. graphite had to write the name on his scarf to remember it 💀

Grimm (Nightmare):

he hates the taste of apples

he likes to garden! and he is very good at it. when he gets too worked up, he'll water his large garden by hand to calm down

fuck you/lh bad guy found family trope. he took them under his wing and he lets them live with him and he is the FATHER BECAUSE I SAID SO

i like to think he's like venom in the way that the physical manifestation of negativity is venom, a parasite inhabiting grimm's body. they are two consciousnesses living in the same body. the negativity is sort of a protector to grimm, too. maybe out of fear of losing the host, or because it actually cares for grimm, who knows. that's a secret i'll never tell :)

he's really good at chess and no one has beaten him yet 🙄

he isn't keen on having an s/o, he'll vastly outlive them and he also just doesn't really care about dating too much

he still lives in the rubble that is his original AU. he constructed the castle he lives in within the AU.

he's shorter than sunny. short king <3

sometimes you could find him in the ballroom of his castle, music coming from an unknown source as he waltzes by himself

Sunny (Dream):

he has a very... sunny... disposition.. hehe.. HAHAH

by that i mean he is often very chipper, you'll probably never see him anything but happy, no matter how long you're friends with him

it's not that he doesn't feel other emotions, he just doesn't like others seeming him sad/angry/any other "negative" emotion. he's supposed to be the positive of the two brothers.

he's constantly moving, literally. when he's sitting, he'll bounce his leg or shake his foot to remind himself that he can move and he isn't still trapped in his stone prison

because of him being trapped in stone by his brother, he has slight claustrophobia, along with cleithrophobia.

he is very good at comforting others

he's... honestly a little afraid of Grimm. he knows he should have tried harder to stick up for his brother back when they were still children, and he still feels guilty and responsible for Grimm's corruption, but he's afraid of how powerful he has become; how Grimm could just kill all those people who wronged him

Headcanons of FellFluff Dadster raising his babybones?

He tries. He’s not the greatest dad, but he does love his sons and tried so hard to do right by them. He did want them, they weren’t another one of his accidents, but basically Gaster one day thought, “It might be nice to have offspring and show them science stuff.”

But he had no idea how difficult taking care of babies is. Like most things in his life, it was a trial and error process. And by the time he got a handle on Papyrus, that thought came to him again that, “Hey, being a dad is actually pretty great.” So he wanted a second one, and that’s where Sans came from.

Again, raising babies is difficult, and he underestimated those challenges some. He was working so hard to provide for his babybones that he, of course, became exhausted. But he wouldn’t take a break, he felt he couldn’t, and that led to him tripping during a sleepy day at the lab and taking a tumble into the CORE.

He was sure that was the end of him. There was a big, black VOID for the longest of time all around him, and then... he woke up on the floor of the lab, right around the spot where he stumbled. But the lab looked different. Where were all his co-workers?

Gaster decides to go home, but his home isn’t there anymore in New Home. The house is still there, but any evidence of him having lived there is long gone. So, he wanders, trying to ask someone, anyone what’s going on, but it’s like he isn’t even there. Eventually he arrives in Snowdin, and he finds two familiar skeletons, but adult skeletons.

His babies have grown up.

you bet your butt i do! lemme give a couple facts about the arcanum we’ve seen so far:

💛 THE FOOL

also lovingly called zero by the other members of the arcanum.

incredibly friendly and very sociable, they represent the idea of potential. also has a mischievous streak, and enjoys playing pranks or teasing others.

they’re no longer human, though they still carry trace amounts of determination.

very passive! they don’t like to fight and instead offer friendship and kindness to all they encounter. they’re still armed with their trust stick though.

they have a desire to help people, often times sticking their nose where it doesn’t belong.

💛 THE MAGICIAN

another very friendly member of the arcanum! he adores seeing new places and going on adventures.

he’s a bit more level headed than the fool though, often times trying to be the mature one.

he can wield tons of different kinds of magic, though he’s still learning to properly control some of it.

his fur is very soft, like touching a cloud.

he also has freckles, but they’re hidden underneath his fur. the only way to see them is in the dark when they glow.

💛 THE HIEROPHANT

chose this title because it has the word ‘hero’ in it! ..wait, it doesn’t??? well, he’s going to stick with it anyways!

he has a great desire to protect others from harm, which is why he wields a hammer and shield. reminiscent of a paladin.

he has the highest hp alongside justice and chariot, so he often times swaps in to take the brunt of most blows.

he also often struggles with doing the right thing vs what’s right for the arcanum. he’s forced to battle with his own ideals a lot.

he still believes in you!

💛 THE CHARIOT

one of the few ocs of the cast! also a former human.

married to judgement. they’re a couple of nerds.

part of the ‘royal guard’ alongside hiero, justice, and strength. their job is to protect the arcanum from harm with their high defense. they wield a magic sword and shield.

also the most mobile of the crew thanks to the actual chariot they can summon pulled by a pair of skeletal beasts.

a good friend and dorkishly charming. they play guitar along side star’s bass.

💛 THE HERMIT

a kind and fun-loving old man. he spent a lot of time in the void, so really he’s just happy to be here.

he tends to go with the flow, often time subjecting himself to other’s shenanigans just to have some fun.

a dadster, though he is not judgement’s or hiero’s biological father.

likes tea! his favorite is any kind of black tea.

the arcana seen most often, as he believes that he is to blame for their world falling apart. he is one of the few ‘irregularities’ of their timeline, someone who wasn’t suppose to exists again after he was banished to the void, so he burdens himself by isolating away from the rest of the arcanum and carrying them across the multiverse.

💛 THE JUSTICE

TOUGH. STRONG! BADASS! she’s everything you could want her to be and more.

as justice, she upholds the ‘laws’ of the arcanum and does her best to protect them. she sometimes comes off as a little stern, but that’s because she loves everyone within the arcanum dearly.

she’s dependable and honest to a fault.

her and hierophant clash sometimes with their ideals on ‘what’s right’, but they’re such good friends they usually make up right away.

in some big ol’ dokis with the high priestess.

💛 THE STAR

still as fabulous as ever darling! now with a little added flair~! ✨

plays a bass guitar and has a bit more of a sultry singing voice compared to the other mettatons of the multiverse.

enjoys a whole lot of sparkle~

believes that everyone has a light in them that’s just waiting to shine.

tends to be the motivator and the one who brings positivity to the arcanum through his unending hope and belief in the future.

💛 THE JUDGEMENT

tired™

if you pull him from the deck chances are he’ll just slide right back in.

he’s often the ‘lookout’ for the arcanum. as the ‘judgement’ he’s able to observe their surroundings and determine if it’s safe or not rather quickly. he can easily view the stats and souls of others, and determine if they’re safe to approach.

pretty much just a normal sans, just 200% more done with everyone’s shit.

he and the fool come up with some pretty sick pranks.

(Gaster is probably my favorite canon character in Undertale, where the rp community is involved. The absolute nothing we know about him has led to three distinct interpretations in my experience:)

The cold, calculating scientist (Optional: obsessive/control freak, possibly insane)

The middle ground (tired boy who balances out Sans' + Papyrus's shenanigans)

Dadster (this version has the most variety. Is he a joker? Is he serious? Is he option 1, 2, or something else?)

(I love all of these takes, so it's great seeing the community mix and match these tropes to create their own unique Gaster.)

A- Meaning behind the title for The Doctor’s Fate series

The idea of calling it The Doctor’s Debts came first because I knew the series was going to deal with loss in a variety of different ways. Originally the story was going to start with him returning from the void but I realized it would be more fun for the reader to watch him regain himself if they knew him too. Plus. Dadster is prettt great. The Doctor’s Charges played off of Debt as financial terms with the added bonus of charge being someone in your care or @in your charge.”

C-What member do you identify with most?

I assume this means what character? And oh goodness from any of my fics is a tricky question. But probably Gaster from Fates/Seasons. At least he’s the one I relate with the most. I can’t tell you how many times I cried alongside him writing his story or got overwhelmed getting to give him those moments of happiness. I hadn’t ever experienced that while writing before and haven’t quite matched that since.

M-Any projects on the back burner?

Haha...ha... I’ve ran out of space to have back burners they are currently all over the floor and I am trying to keep them warm ^^’ Specifically fics though? Well, I’ve recently discovered thatvin Breath of the Wild they kinda yadda yadda how the Champions we’re actually chosen so I’ve been kicking around something with that.

Though I’m sure Undertale was the intended focus. Honestly speaking I really want to give Pack Animals a fair amount focus once Voyage finishes...whenever that is. But Gray Flames does keep teasing me with the idea of writing through an AU where Grillby falls instead of Gaster as well as a fix called Hazardous about Sans, Papyrus, and Grillby’s experience on the Surface. (This would include Madame Maribelle from Seasons and I so so so want to write her relationship with Grillby) Both of these keep getting little pushes but don’t expect either anytime soon. Voyage needs to finish and Pack Animals deserves some solo creation time ^^

Also not a fic at all but I have an original concept called Servant Heart that I have been working on for a long time now and would love to finalize and get out there but we will see.

Seeing that dadster post (the one with the coolest baby (Papyrus) ever-),which honestly was amazing XD, gave me a thought that I wanted to ask you. Ok so basically.. do you have any headcanons/theories about connections between Gaster and the skeleton bros? Also, do you believe that 'mysteryman' is actually Gaster? I don't really know why so many people believe 'mysteryman' is Gaster :c

Oh boy, do i.

so, i’ve said it on the blog before--but long ago--that i generally do headcanon gaster as the brothers’ father. He’s the only other character to speak in a specific (and notorious) font, so it’d make sense that he’s a skeleton at the very least. Of course, that doesn’t mean he and the bros are family, or that he’s their parent--but that tends to be my favorite interpretation of him :”D There’s a lot more that could be said to connect them, but it’s late and I’m a little tired to list it all =u=;;

I also don’t think he’s 100% evil. Not even Flowey is 100% evil, and Chara, despite prevailing fanon, isn’t either. So even if canon Gaster turns out to be an antagonist, he’ll likely have understandable motivations--at least to him ^^;

As it is, I try to characterize him as intensely curious and driven, his wide range of interests carrying him from one field of study to the next over his long career. He’s the kind of mad genius you see in movies, who oversteps boundaries not because he specifically wants to hurt anyone, but because he was so busy and focused on answering a question he didn’t see the line he’d crossed. He bears a grudge against humanity for sealing him away from the wider universe, but he’s made great strides despite this. To other monsters, he can be imposing, and may not realize it. His love of bad science jokes quickly dispels this feeling, and in general, he’s not an aloof or cold sort; he struggles to find time for them, but when the brothers are in the picture, he does his best to be a good father. So, he’s generally good, but his curiosity can lead him astray...

I’ve only got one major story that deviates from this version--’Bark at the Moon’ features a fairly stereotypical Badster in the backstory. But he doesn’t feature much--I’m trying to avoid the classic ‘flashback chapter’ for once XD

As for why everyone thinks the ‘mysteryman’ sprite is gaster, well... all the evidence we have from the game seems to point towards that conclusion. He appears in the right range of Fun values, and he’s such a distinct encounter that it’s easy to draw the connection between this mystery dude hanging out in waterfall and the mystery dude all the gaster followers talk about. What really clinched it for me personally was the use of the same sound effects for mystery man and goner clam. It really seems like Toby wants us to make that connection... Who knows, maybe he’ll pull a switcheroo on us--but until then, the evidence seems to be in favor of the mysteryman sprite being gaster--or at least, some form of him...

I CANT PICK JUST ONE OKAY? THEY’RE ALL GREAT! IN THIS ESSAY I WILL TELL YOU WHAT I LOVE ABOUT ALL YOUR MUSES!

Let’s start with G-man. How do I love this man, let me count the fuckin’ ways! First we got his relationship with Sans. I’ve always wanted a dad figure for him that wasn’t my own Gaster. You gave me a great opportunity for that. I love all the varying degrees of the timelines for them. From a small kid growing up with chronic illness and his dad panicking over him, to full blown fights about his origin and learning the truth of where he came from, to the tragedy of watching his father get yoinked into the void. I JUST LOVE THEM SO MUCH!

AND DON’T GET ME FUCKING STARTED ON SWINGDINGS. Oh my God these wholesome struggling single dads in love just melts my fucking heart. I love how G takes a scientific approach to everything but is slowly starting to let things just naturally happen. I love how he’s helping Swap get over his trauma from his previous marriage. Even them getting to the point where the get engaged just kills me. And the whole wholesome goopy dads reuniting in the void together just alkfghsdflkjghsldkfj I LOVE IT *flips table*

Now we move on to Grillby. KLJDFGHLDFKJ I just- I love him so much. He’s so S O F T and just a good bean! His interactions with Sans just also make me melt, but this kinky mother fucker also makes Sans melt in more ways than one lmao; gentleman in the bar, freak in the bed lol. But seriously the way he takes care of others like Ebon during the time just after they’re sealed underground, to caring for his bf, to caring for those of the afterlife in our Dusttale AU just kill me. He’s such a good egg and I’m love.

Then we got Mr. Hot Shot Ferno who’s just a vulgar stink man fuck boi who Red would die for. He loves how sweet and adoring his totally not bf can be. I just love how caring and gentle he can be but also how absolutely gremlin this man can be. He’s the perfect balance of innuendos and class. Love this mans I swear. He’s gonna give Fell a goddamn bi-awakening. Fell would also die for him ngl

And lastly there’s Flambeau and omfg this southern bell little twink is an absolute fucking delight. He’s just a cute kinkster and Blue is like 100% here for that. He’s also just an absolute sweet heart when comforting Blue and I cannot wait for more interactions with this boi. Love him to pieces.

OSIDJFSODIJFSODFIJ WELL UM GOSH WHERE DO I EVEN START

I’m gonna have a lot to say in my inevitable essay to you but ahhh??? oh my god????? thank you?????? I’m so glad you like my assortment of many fire lads and also one (1) skeleton!!! And I realized partway through writing this that it was basically turning into my essay back to you so idk here we go!

I love Sans and Gaster’s relationship so much! G-man has very unique and interesting relationships with both his boys, and I think writing out how he is as a father was one of the things that really helped him blossom into his current characterization. I enjoy the way that their relationship is genuinely loving but complicated. Gaster sometimes struggles to understand what Sans is thinking or feeling, but he always tries, and Sans carries so many conflicting emotions on his shoulders but at the end of the day still just really loves his dad. It feels really genuine and realistic and I just like it a lot!

ALSO SWINGDINGS, I’m definitely getting into this when I write my post out to you, but their relationship is so endearing and just so!!! Charmingly WHOLESOME! You do such a great job with Swap, writing him as someone who’s been through so much but is still so kind and so gentle and just loves his family so much. I feel for G because it really just makes you fall in love with him. I’ve enjoyed seeing the sides of Swap that his and G’s budding romance has brought out of him, and I’m so HERE for Goopy Beach Wedding someday in the future.

Going back to Classic!!! I love me some OG UT Sans, and I love how you write him. His relationship with Grillby has been so sweet to write out, and with all the shit Sans has been through it’s been nice to see him just get to have some uncomplicated fun with somebody, whether it’s just cute flirting at the bar or wild kinky fun in Grillby’s apartment. And that just makes it hit all the harder when you start dipping into Dusttale shenanigans and the darker, more complicated elements of writing Classic boy.

On that note HOLY MOLY I LOVE YOUR DUSTTALE THREADS SO MUCH???? If the fact that I made a whole-ass playlist for one damn thread wasn’t enough of an indicator lmao. Dusty has this very maliciously cold and cruel side to him that you do a good job of tempering with those moments of genuine grief and guilt, and it feels very much like he’s sort of... playing a role that he feels he has to in order to get this shit done, while also just finally letting loose all of that anger and frustration piled on from endless resets. The fact that I just keep making different Dusttale Grillbys to interact with Dusttale Sans is probably a sign of how much I love him and I am... I am a little sorry for that lmao.

Red!! Red is so great!! He and Ferno are a really interesting match in a lot of ways, and I love the way that they both sort of care for each other. Both of them have their unhealthy coping mechanisms, but they’re always right there to support each other through whatever they’re going through. I think what I love most about Red is something Ferno said in one post ages ago about why he loves Red--that he takes so much shit just all the time but he still cares so much about the people he loves.

Which is... incidentally one thing I love about how you write Fell too, lmao, and the threads today were such a good example of that. He carries so much on his shoulders and puts up with so much, and of course it weighs on him but he can’t let that show. I can totally see why Ferno, meeting Fell at the lowest point in his life, ended up just so hardcore ride-or-die for him, and why he believes in him so damn much. I also kind of think this thing we’re backfilling with Ferno just having had it bad for Fell for years has been interesting to play around with just... across the board??? and I am so here for Fell’s bi awakening.

And Blue!!!! Sweet little sugar skull!!! We haven’t done too much with him and Flambe yet but Blue is such a gosh darn cutiepie and I’m always happy to see him on my dash! I love all the threads you do with him, whether he’s fanboying over Napstabot or getting all kinds of fucked up on Orange’s edibles. Or getting hella kinky with Flambeau.

Like, what are your headcanons about his relationship with Sans and/or Gaster?? I remember you talking about some but I would LOVE to hear more, maybe his relationship with Undyne too, hell, even Alphys, Toriel... Papyrus is such and interesting character

OHOHOHOH BOY DO I HAVE HEADCANONS

putting this under a cut because BOY HOWDY IT'S GOTTEN LONG. you asked for this

okay so first of all. i am in love with Dadster and it is definitely a weak spot for me.

anyway. relationship with Sans. They're fantastic brothers! they care about each other a whole lot, and get along perfectly great. However, they're both allergic to communication and there's a LOT of stuff they keep from each other. It kinda strains their relationship a little bit at times (but it still doesn't change the fact that they are siblings and care about each other a whole lot). There might be times Papyrus grows so frustrated that he leaves to go tend to his puzzles in the snowy woods or train with undyne in waterfall for the whole day, or times where Sans just can't deal with things and hides away at grillbys or in his room or various other places around the underground. But they still end up coming home to each other, because they're family, family that's there in reach and they care about each other.

relationship with Gaster can get a little more,, vague. varied. etc. I have headcanons and i have other headcanons for if things were different in this way,, theres so much u can take into account or whatever. so much you can do here.

The Big One is obviously dadster. or even grampster!! I like to thing that Gaster was a loving guardian. Maybe not the Best, he was probably occupied with his job a whole lot and tended to lose track of time, and all that. But he was also very caring and loving, sweet. Papyrus loved him, and he was a sense of safety for him. He taught papyrus all about puzzles and mechanics, until papyrus was old enough to really get into things by himself, and then he taught papyrus how to get the most out of researching. Papyrus relied on him as a support a whole lot, so when Gaster was inevitably Gone, that support crumbled and he ended up having a really hard time for a hot minute. bonus hard time if you do the everyone-forgetting-gaster thing. (if you wanna, ehehn,hg, if you wanna see some stuff i've written for my askblog about papyrus right after gaster got shattered and everyone forgot about him. here.)

but if you DONT do dadster/grampster there's! theres still plenty of things you can think about! He's definitely got Gaster Blasters, so at the very least they have SOME kind of connection. But also, papyrus LOVES puzzles. he says all sorts of weirdly mysterious things sometimes, and never ever says anything about his past at all. He knew gaster somehow. Was Gaster a mentor to him, like how a lot of people headcanon with sans and alphys? Did Papyrus work at the CORE, that massive awesome shifting puzzle of an energy generator?

If he was a mentor to papyrus, I think (again, sweet old man though VERY eccentric) he just. found monsters and effectively adopted them as his interns. sans, alphys, papyrus, etc. the other gaster followers even, perhaps. Papyrus grew Very close to gaster, looked up to him a whole lot because like. gaster was THE guy. Everyone knows about the CORE and its puzzle bits and that's SUCH an incredible feat, entire ROOMS shifting and changing. And gaster was impressed by papyrus's enthusiasm, brought him under his wing. (heh. heheh). Found out about Sans and his own interests in quantum physics and took him in as an intern as well! Alphys and Papyrus ended up bonding over mechanical engineering. science buddies :> Since sans, papyrus, and Gaster were all skeletons, gaster decided to teach them how to use his gaster blaster attack. he didn't have any children of his own, so maybe it was a way to pass on his legacy in a different way than his inventions, who knows.

But, inevitably, gaster is shattered across time and space. relationships grow strained, there might be a bit of forgetting for all parties involved. it's a mess, and it messes up alphys, sans, and papyrus. None of them can really remember gaster or each other, it's confusing and upsetting and they end up not really talking to each other (sans and alphys keep in touch a little more, though)

OR you could go the papyrus is gaster route!! THATS fun. consider! Papyrus hates hotland (bad experiences?), the CORE is a Giant puzzle, papyrus is described as "forgettable" he always seems to want to be paid attention to, to be memorable, for people to acknowledge him,,, He NEver talks about his past. the association with gaster and hands, and papyrus never taking off his gloves. the gaster blasters. Besties with Flowey Somehow!! what does it mean, what does it MEAN-

ahem.

As for just Canon undertale unrelated to any of the dizzying gaster nonsense!

His relationship with undyne is honestly SO fantastic, despite the flaws. First time they meet each other papyrus is knocking on her door in the middle of the night. what an impression. BUT THEN in the morning when he Still hasn't gone away she isn't weirded out like i feel like most people would be, she's just as weird as him in a lot of ways and is impressed with his dedication! She agrees to train him.

They're!!! BESTIES. sobs. She really respects him, and his capabilities! she acknowledges that holy Crap he's really freaking strong, and they both regularly exchange banter on the phone calls and tease each other all the time. sometimes papyrus is so deadpan she doesn't realize he may or may not be joking, but it's no biggie.

but she also knows that papyrus would never, ever kill someone. He doesn't have it in him. and that's not a bad thing! far from it, really. BUT. The royal guard's purpose is to capture humans and their souls. Which would inevitably involve killing him. And she wouldn't ever want to force him to do something like that, no matter how strong of a fighter he is. Of course, She could have just told him that instead of hiding the fact that she wasn't going to let him in the guard, distracting him with different kinds of training and such, but. She can see how much he wants this, and she really really doesn't want to break his heart like that. she just can't hurt her friend that way, so she ends up procrastinating and distracting him.

and papyrus cares about her so much as well! i think it took a while for him to realize that he and undyne were actually friends, and initially when he Did realize it he was really tentative about it. But soon enough, they were complete Besties as nature intended. fish and skeleton. He definitely had a fair bit of hero worship for her at first, but that quickly went away once he saw her being completely hopeless over alphys. and various other silly things that made her so much more real as a person.

she's loud and sometimes has problems regulating her emotions and can be kinda awkward in social situations or not realize things that might be obvious and has intense obsessions and is very passionate about the things she loves! just like papyrus! she is also autistic just like him. they're buddies.

UHHHH

ALPHYS!!!! OH HOW I DESPERATELY WANT THEM TO BE BESTIES.

in the underground, he only really knows her through the various times they've both been hanging with undyne, but mostly online. They've definitely friended each other. Alphys gave him that tile puzzle, of course they know each other at least a Little bit! and papyrus commenting on her undernet posts, etc etc etc. She might think he's kinda weird, but who is she to judge. she watches anime all day and collects mew mew merch, or even makes her own. So maybe papyrus talks a little funny, is a little loud sometimes, and a bit too eager sometimes. So is Mettaton. She's just got weird friends and thats just fine.

Once they get onto the surface, they start interacting face to face a Lot more, and start bonding over puzzles and mechanical engineering and all that fun stuff. Eventually they have inventing sessions once a week where they meet up and just make random stuff. it's great. sometimes undyne comes around as emotional support and makes stuff too (explosions). whenever sans shows up all he does is be difficult but he leaves and there's like. stuff like his joke-quantumphysics-joke-quantumphysics book.

They also bond over being more than a bit socially awkward, and after a while alphys learns to be a bit more open around papyrus because it doesn't seem like it at first but he can really relate to a lot of stuff. The pressure of doing everything right, the social expectations the--

they are both autistic basically and they fire autism buddies beams at each other subconsciously until they achieve autism to autism communication.

Toriel! At first she only knows him through sans, but she can tell that sans cares about him very very much. He often talks about how smart papyrus is, about how determined he can be and just how cool he is. And once she and papyrus really start to get to know each other, he's delighted to learn about the puzzles in the ruins. he asks about their upkeep and how they work and she's happy to answer.

She's probably the one that can tell the easiest when he needs a hug or when he needs some sort of distraction or just a kind smile, out of all of his friends. instincts she has honed from being a guardian to so many people and also shes just like that. They actually have a lot of discussions about all sorts of topics, even if one or the other doesn't really know much. they're conversation buddies.

papyrus admits that he only hates sans's jokes and thats just because they're siblings, and they start making all sorts of jokes at each other. but not when sans is near. she would never upset the sanctity of sibling animosity.

After a while of knowing each other, papyrus awkwardly asks if he can just,, touch her hand, for the sake of touching her hand. he explains that her fur looks so very soft, and he's wanted to feel it ever since they met, even if it might sound really weird. but she says she understands completely, with a knowing smile, and lets him feel the softness of her fur, making sure that she doesn't think it's weird at all. After all, exploring the world around you through texture is a wonderful thing! textures are very fascinating, and it's amazing how some can be so incredibly good, but similar textures can be terrible. Papyrus absolutely lights up at this, and she's glad she can make him smile so genuinely.

Ambassador papyrus stuff,,, because i am a Sucker for that,. she teaches him a lot about being an ambassador, and various leadership stuff, and she's proud of how quickly he picks things up. there's definitely stumbling, and she can tell he's got a fair bit of social anxiety that he's hiding, but he keeps on going. She's glad she can call him her friend, and when she tells him that one day he can't help but tear up and giver her a big hug. Wowie! she cares about HIM, personally, not just what he does and his jokes and his personality, but all of him.

in conclusion this has been an unsubtle pushing my "everyone in undertale is autistic" agenda and also papyrus has a lot more friends than he might believe he does.

“So where is it that you’re taking me again?” Venus asked, squinting a little bit at their boyfriend as he eagerly bounced along at their side, his eye lights bright with warmth and love.

“It’s a surprise! And I am… eighty percent sure that you’ve never been to this kind of AU before… Sixty-six percent sure.” Heelies responded with a bright grin on his face. It was a newly created Alternate Universe and one that Papa was very protective of. Something about the importance of the Creator who had made it. Or something like that.

“… Is it a dangerous one? Something that your dad would say is dangerous?” Venus pressed. They loved their boyfrienddearly, but he had no concept of self-preservation whatsoever… Which was one of the reasons why they’d ended up together. He was sweet, well-meaning and persistent… Even in the face of the multiversal lord of darkness glaring at him.

“Ehhh… Probably not? I mean, it’s no LittleHaven, so there is an element of danger, but it’s not got a Fell or Trickster base, so the AU should be fairly safe.” Heelies responded brightly.

“What the hell kind of AU is that?” Venus asked, a very confused expression appearing on their face as they’d never heard of either half of the AU that their boyfriend was referring to.

“Err… A combination of a LittleTale and a HavenTale AU?” Heelies responded, blinking in utter confusion at his datemate. He paused for a moment before remembering something about that particular AU “Oh, those AUs are all really, super positive, so I wouldn’t be surprised if you wouldn’t be able to enter them… Not without the entire AU changing in a fundamental way, because HavenTales don’t have neutral routes, much less… Darker routes than that, and LittleTales have almost all of the monsters as children, being cared for by a loving if somewhat stressed Dadster.”

“… I’m not sure I could enter either of those AUs, much less a combination. Not as I am - I’m guessing that Saturn and Papa hide in those AUs when they need to heal up?” Venus asked, their voice sad. They very much missed their papa and baby brother, having only seen stolen glimpses of both of them over the past couple of centuries.

“Yeah… Saturn asked me to give this to you.” Heelies responded, abruptly stopping for a moment as he searched through his inventory, giving her a small and thin cardboard box that was carefully wrapped.

Venus stared at it, deciding that they’d open it later - wanting to enjoy spending time with their beloved, though they were curious as to what was in the box. “Thanks, Heelies…” They gently give him a kiss to his teeth “Soo… Are you gonna open the portal to this mysterious AU or are we gonna wander for a while longer?”

“Hmm? Oh, right! The… The portal!” He answered distractedly, a bright grin appearing on his face as he concentrated for a moment, a purple paint portal appearing before them.

Venus grinned a little bit as they wrapped their wings around their boyfriend, pulling him in close as they pressed a fond kiss to his forehead “I love you, Heelies. And I’m excited to see this world with you.”

Heelies grins a little bit as he snuggles into his beloved’s arms, completely content to be so close. “I love you too, Vennie! Welcome, to Deltarune!” He threw his hands out wide as the two of them crossed through the portal “Near as I can tell, this is a no-war AU… and where Asgore and Toriel are not and were never the King and Queen of monsters.”

Venus’s eye lights widen a little, and a fascinated expression appears on their face “How interesting - do you know anything more about it?”

“Nope! As soon as I realized that this AU was one that you could visit without getting sick, and that it was probably safe enough to visit for a date, I left so that both of us could be surprised by what this world has to offer.” Heelies answered earnestly, a bright grin appearing on his face.

“Wonderful. I have a feeling that this is going to be a great deal of fun.” Venus hummed, surface AUs were always interesting to explore. Heelies nodded excitedly, and the pair of young skeletons made their way through the small town hand in hand, talking to the townsfolk as they went.
