i hate ncis. i hate it. its the best goddamn forensic show ive watched and its even better now that i am watching it on netflix and IN ORDER. but goddamn its as bad as it is good.
i mean, i thought criminal minds was the worst show that couldnt keep track of their background (what, with rossi somehow being born is '56; and he was in the marine corps until '79 the latest which is like 7 years if he managed to enlist when he was 16. 16!! and he somehow managed to reach the rank of SERGEANT MAJOR! like,,, how?! at 23?!? wtf), but holy shit ncis just straight up doesnt care.
when we first ever see gibbs in jag he says that he was with NCIS/NIS for 19 years... and then we learn in S03E22 Hiatus II:
"Dr.Todd: Well, Gibbs recalls visiting his wife and daughter's graves, so his memory's up to at least june of '91, when he was released from Bethesda.
Ma'am Jenny: He joined NIS that August."
"Gibbs: ...so I could join NIS. NCIS. The Navy changed the name that same year. 19... 90... 90...?
Mike Franks: Two."
these two scenes were in the same ep for God's sake. and this tells us that he was an agent for 15 years. they even say it in the ep that gibbs doesnt believe he lost 15 years. so they manages to fuck up 2 timelines in the same ep. their og one where he was with ncis for 19 years and their newer one where they cant tell when he joined. gosh.
and and! in S04E03 Singled Out gibbs has a talk with mcgee:
"Gibbs: McGee... how long have I been an NCIS special agent?
McGee: Almost 16 years.
Gibbs: Wanna take a wild guess what my first partner still calls me?"
so at least after that they managed to stay on track... with that. the rules are changed too!! there are multiple rules for certain numbers and they never gave a reason why.
and dont get me started on gibbs playing god. i mean, really? in the 3rd season episode 16 family secret he falsified a dna test to "help out" this kid. the regs are there for a reason. he gets pissy when something unjust happens, and he has his rules but holy shit he ignored those and the law as well. and in episode 19 iced gibbs gets this dude killed bc he couldnt get enough evidence to put him in jail. liek wtf since when should idolize that behaviour? they acted like that was the right thing to do, that if you are certain enough, but you dont have the evidence to put someone behind bars, there is another way.... and this selective application of the rules and laws just grating on my nerves.
when i first watched ncis gibbs was my favourite. my fatherless ass took a look at his mile wide dadness and latched on. but holy crap how can i like dinozzo,,, DINOZZO! the pig like behaviour, the male chauvinist, misogynist "comic" relief more??? i know that not all of him but soemtiems he opens his mouth and all i can think abt is how tf can i like this character better than the intended "hero"?
like gibbs is righteous, just, the poster boy for "military" and yet when they gave him "faults and mistakes" they ruined him.

If you think you love cdramas, You’re still second place to my mom 😂
Talking about cdramas recently and just wanted to share my mom’s love for them. I had her watch Find Yourself with me and my roommate in 2021 and she really enjoyed it. We had to watch it slowly, only a few episodes at a time when we were all available.
However, in April of 2022, she watched Meteor Garden on her own time. It has been 23 weeks since then and she has not stopped or slowed down. She has also expanded into Korean and Taiwanese dramas as well. Here is a probably complete list of all the dramas she has watched:

The number after the series is the amount of times she has watched the series. Meteor Garden, the obvious favorite, taking first place with a total of 6 watches. Tied for second place being the Korean adaption of the same show titled, Boys over Flowers. Most of these shows are available on Netflix, but she also took it upon herself to purchase DVD copies of her favorites in case they are taken off Netflix.
Grand total of seasons comes to 58, which averages out to 2.5 series/week.
My mom also has a full time job, volunteers, and takes care of the house. This is not a post of shame, but a post of awe. She just really loves these dramas.
I will say that this love of hers has greatly improved her mood since the show she used to watch all the time was Criminal Minds. Not a bad show at all, but the themes in the dramas tend to be much happier and light hearted.

Alright! That was episode 3: A Gold Bar in Fort Knox. I feel like this was sort of a transitional episode, and I'm... not sure how I feel about that. The Shortcut and the people on it were a huge part of the book's journey, and here... it's just used to get from point A to point B, rather than being an interesting stop of its own. With that, I'm gonna have to give this one a 7/10. I really hope they do more with Noland and Cannonball down the line... But I am fascinated to see where the brainwashed Mr. Benedict plot goes...

Notes on my re-watch of CM Season 7 Episode 23 Hit
So because I was re-watching episodes of Criminal Minds I saw a post @emilyprentissisababe made on a few things she spotted that I never noticed and it hit me that there was quite a bit that I missed and most of that was due to the fact that I only saw both episodes once since I knew those where the ones that Emily ultimately leaves the team so I never re-watched them because of how heartbreaking it is to see her leave (Top favorite member and to this day crushing on her lol Who isn’t).
Now my thoughts on that episode and mind you I watched two times in a row back to back after I finished the first watch I played it back and watched it again completely a second time. Even after seeing them my thoughts on them are literally everywhere I was going to do a post on both Hit and Run (watched them both twice) but it would be too long so I will do them separately I just finished somewhat organizing the notes for Hit so I will post that one first. Hopefully they make sense since again my thoughts where back and forth and all over the place I couldn’t help it there is a lot going on in those episodes especially the episode Hit with the bank robbery and a few things I noticed that I didn’t before.
My notes were written as I watched the episodes so they’ll be in order based on scenes of the show unless I make references to other episodes and comparisons to other parings that they remind me off. Heads up I wrote these notes as I was watching them and paused to quick rant so there might be a lot of errors grammatically so I apologize in advanced lol.
Here are my notes on Hit is long but I got into mini rants that will continue on Run: (Had to do a read-more link because I didn’t realize how long it was).
Okay! So, I re-watched the episodes Hit and Run from Criminal Minds to get some notes and actually see some of the subtle things I might of missed and boy did I miss quite a lot. The episode Hit I had to watch two times in a row because there was quite a lot going on all at once and I felt like they where some things I missed.
Since I have no idea how to even remotely start I'm going to start in order but probably will go back and comment on several particular characters and go from there.
First thing is first I adore JJ's son he is so adorable and lovable and the way he jumps his mom to wake her up is cute af granted I think it was Will who put him there as a way to wake her up.
Speaking of Will and I had to re-watch this SEVERAL TIMES to see if it's just me but I kept seeing it so I'm putting it on here maybe I'm too romantic but if I see JJ asleep and I need to go to work and so does she I would think of more creative romantic ways to wake her up tugging her on her feet with little to no expression is......well..........lets just say had me frowning. Now on THAT note when he kisses her it didn't scream love at least on his end maybe is the expressions he makes but I did not see it where as on JJ's end at least I can see she at least cares about him and loves him (NOTE: Love's him and being IN LOVE with him are two different things. Carol loved Harge loved him enough to bare his child but she was not and never was IN LOVE with him and yes I will be making Carol references occasionally).
Speaking of Will, Why does he look bored, tired, and he lacks emotions when he does or says anything; it's a never ending monotone expression with him at least when he is with JJ I seen him on other seen that he does express himself and usually when he is working or being a cop or during action scenes so I do not know what is it about him being around JJ or in general being a normal situation that he gives off that 'I don't give af vibe) When he is with Henry I see him expressing himself a bit as well.
Hotch and his girlfriend Beth are actually cute together you can see how happy he is with her and happy she makes him. She is also really good with Jack which is an added bonus, Jack deserves someone a female in his life that can be maternal and care for him the way his own mother would have by all means is no replacement for his birth-mother but all the love Beth is showering him with every time she is with him is something he will appreciate especially with how young he is.
Penelope and Spencer having a day out is gold and we should have had more of this having them nerd out more often but Kevin HAD TO RUIN IT.
Kevin OMFG KEVIN. He is and will always be a class A asshole I never liked him from day one he was just there I felt Garcia could do better but this...THISSSSSS.....I am MAD He ruined Garcia's day by bringing his new girlfriend knowing comic cons is something Garcia and him did. With that said if they broke up badly mind you given wanted to push marriage on Garcia when One they have not been dating that long Two she wanted to take her time Three you were rushing it and pushing it (This mirrors Will and JJ I will get back on that later).
If you where his new girlfriend picture yourself in that scenario You're dating him have been dating him not long at all (You and him started dating not even that long after things ended with Garcia but lets ignore that part). He invites you to a date and he takes you to the same comic con or take you out to the same places he took your ex-girlfriend Garcia too. would you as a girl appreciate having your new bf Kevin take you out to the same places do the sames things he did with his ex-girlfriend. Maybe I'm overthinking it but if I were her I would be increasingly uncomfortable with it (not that I would even look his way let along say yes to him to begin with Now if Emily asked me I'll say yes...Sorry offtrack where was I ranting.)
Reid's reaction to Garcia's "Yeah, I brought someone who I possibly couldn't be sexually attracted too" is comical and very Reid like also very true.
Also what Garcia said is true, she brought a friend over to the comic-con where as Kevin brought in not only a new girlfriend but someone he is possibly already sleeping with. She had every right to be angry bringing a new lover/gf to something you did with your ex HELLOOOOOOOO.
Now this next part HOW IN THE FLYING ELEPHANTS DID I NOT NOTICE THIS UNTIL I RE-WATCHED THIS FOR THE SECOND TIME IN A ROW. Rossi bumping into Reid and Garcia I always though of it as funny and just there because he happen to be waiting for his car but I DID NOT NOTICE THIS.
There is a hotel next to the convention Garcia and Reid where going too Rossi obviously was coming out of the hotel hint why he was waiting for the ballet to fetch him his car and he pointed out on wanting to take a nap but although a funny comment to him not wanting to be seen on his day off with his team (said it affectionately and playful) Garcia looks to her right and sees Sector Chief Strauss walk out of the same hotel Rossi was in a moment later looking like she was fixing her hair she was looking slightly dishevel looking around making sure no one saw her or recognize her call me crazy but WTF okay there have been hints that those too rolled the hay and did the tango but did he just got out of a night off dirty playtime. I mean Reid and Garcia thought so given their shocked expressions. If true those two where up all night *insert lions sleeps tonight theme from ace ventura)
Emily and Morgan's friendship is gold she confided in him and took him to help her pick out a house wanting his input although she looks completely unsure, she doesn't look happy or like she is ready to settle down. She was sure and positive about it at first, ready to set roots she felt at home and was happy but now that it's hers she is taking a step back and is not sure. My take as been mentioned this has to be more than just Ian Doyle and her near death experience that she isn't and cannot tell the team let along Morgan. He is an amazing friend they are things that even she can't tell him. She is use to compartmentalizing as well as keeping everything bottled up and not telling anyone what's troubling her. She hadn't been sure of buying it since she started looking for it on the episode Divided Rod.
I been watching several clips from all over the seasons between two and seven. From what I saw Emily is is at a point (and Doyle made her feel like this, so yes Ian has play in this a heavy play but her leave is so much more than just Doyle).... she is at a breaking point, she feels empty and from what I saw watching the show is wholly obvious from here to the moon that Emily has has a crush on JJ that friendship they felt evolved into a crush and eventually love (And I am not going to tackle all the evidence that points in these women falling for each other because I'll be here for hours on end maybe on another post) JJ means Will on the episode Jones season 2 episode eighteen by then Emily was already crushing on her and JJ on Emily but unlike Emily who was aware of her crush (granted small a the time) JJ might have not been aware of it at first hint why she felt and got in a relationship with Will also JJ might not have wanted to crush their friendship and not aware Emily felt the same.
Neither women voiced it neither where aware Emily might of seen the signs but Emily is respectful she woul never make the first more especially when their friendship is on the line she would wait for JJ to make the first more to see what she sees to feel the same when Emily saw JJ going after Will Emily would assume JJ didn't feel the same way or at least feels the same way but would never go through with it by then Emily would decide to hide her crush or at least try but she would decide the moment (and this is by the fact that the team along with her knew about JJ and Will before they even came out as official for the team) she resigned the fact that she lost her so instead in the episode In Heat she helps JJ admit her feelings for Will and Help JJ realize her feelings for him which is why Emily says "You make a cute couple" JJ runs after him and Emily goes from surprised to this :\ with her head tilt that split moment she realized she officially lost her chances yet is happy for her friend thus why she says though she was never going to admit it.
With that mini rant said and out of the way. in Hit (and I’ll get to her thoughts or what I interpreted them by on Run most of this she doesn’t realize until the episode Run she doesn’t know why by the episode Hit hint why she asks Morgan ‘Am I crazy to turn this opportunity away’) at Emily's moment of emptiness during her time away yes she played scrabbles with JJ but from her end by then Emily deep down had feels for she'll probably try to work over it "is too late" when she came back she thought she got over them but over the course of the season they resurface and Emily by then do to the problem with Doyle she can't handle what happened to her and by then she can't handle what hr own feelings for JJ. She begins to realize this when she starts buying the house but it's not until JJ says yes to Will about marriage that she makes her decision to not go through with the house.
When she is with Morgan she is making excuses to not buy the house and at the time she doesn't know why she doesn't have her heart for it and why she doesn't feel for it in terms on getting the house at least not until after the case is over that she realizes exactly why (I'm hopping around I'm sorry it'll make somewhat sense hopefully it does my thoughts are jumbled).
The next scene with Will and his partner get a call about the bank heist and my thoughts if they are bank robbers two exists they might come out though the side door. Bank heist + dangerous bank robbers + never getting caught = three people with guns coming out of a door you're parked near than is obvious (or just me) that you shouldn't get out of the car THAN MAKE PLANS do that inside the car and proceed with caution she never did she got out and stood in the middle of the sidewalk giving orders looking away from the three people who shot her when she was least expecting it. I don't know just me but she wasn't smart on that aspect. She should have gotten out crouched down just in case they began shooting at random.
I never fully trusted Clyde Easter Just me? there's just something about him the way he acted on the Doyle arc and how he just pops up with ideas out of the blue to Emily that seem random at least to me.
Clyde randomly offering Emily to run Interpol at the most inconvenient of times out of the blue and he seems to do it often judging by Emily offhanded comment. I should probably re-watch Ian Doyle's arc but until then I don't trust him never did.
The look on JJ when she heard Emily's "Work for Interpol again" her heart dropped you can see the moment it does she looks terrified of loosing Emily (she never had the courage to face her feelings for Emily and at this point despite never admitting them never going through with her feelings and facing them she never had her romantically but wanted her close by "at least she is near" having her leave will be facing what could have had). JJ when Clyde asks Emily not work Run Interpol and Emily looks physically surprise JJ's heart drops further and looks more terrified and unlike JJ, Reid isn't jumping the gun just yet instead he looks curious. When Emily hangs up JJ quickly starts to plea at Emily to tell her about something Emily brushes off quickly letting her know is nothing. The moment you see JJ's fear increasing is when Emily says "That's a hell of a time to bring that up" and when she says something along the lines of "You help me with this we'll talk after" You can see JJ's world crumbling she is struggling with what she is hearing and somewhat afraid if not very.
Okay now Will gets shot as soon as he enters the bank and it hit me when I saw this that if Paget had staid Will would have never lived. He wasn't suppose to have survived the episode Run they where going to kill him off completely. On that note you can tell they where building up for it thought both episodes all they had to do is write in that Emily never got to him in time and the bomb went off with him in it instead we got Emily finding him and saving him.
I always felt Will to be a bit of a controlling boyfriend despite him being understanding it does not change the fact that he forced JJ to be open about it to the team when she wasn't ready and in the end what he said it came off as guilt tripping her and if it wasn't for the fact that Emily WAS THE ONE that helped JJ work through her feelings and help JJ see she loved him (despite her own feelings for JJ) JJ would never have taken him back and possibly would have let him go, The entire episode of In Heat Emily in her own was helping JJ finally comes to terms with her feelings for Will. Besides trying to force JJ into telling the team about them he also practically forced her to tell them about the pregnancy when again she was not ready too and at the worse time as well. He also tried a few times to ask her to marry him and he refused not ready. The only time she said yes was after he almost died. He almost died father of her son she almost died as well high of adrenaline and near death experience she quickly told him ask me and he did she said yes there's a reason you shouldn't make big decisions when you nearly died.
HOLY HELL CLYDE'S ACCENT I don't trust you at all but your accent I mean is the only good thing you had so far don't get use to it I love Emily more (Cate's is better just saying random sorry XD)
I noticed while everyone was on the federal computerized bus Emily was sitting on the table (can't sit straight to save her life) she was biting her nails in nervousness while she saw JJ in distress than when JJ stopped she stopped biting her nails and when JJ got worked up again she went right back in biting her nails half way though this she tried to comfort her and to help her be more positive but it wasn't working and thus way Emily went back to biting her nails a show of nervousness and distress.
When Morgan, Hotch, JJ, and Emily ran to go inside the bank to try and bring back Will only to have the building blow up (Reid wasn't able to warn them on time) that entire scene was heart wrenching and had me nearly shout NOOOO at the computer scene even though I know they are okay but it's still hard to watch especially since I paused it right there and couldn't see Emily is like she pulled a Houdini (that how you spell that magicians name?) I saw JJ and Morgan couldn't see her.

You’re currently sitting on a blanket in the shade at the soccer fields, as Jack practices making goals and Aaron stands on the side coaching him through. It’s a very rare Wednesday afternoon off for the both of you.
“Alright Jack, try again!” Aaron yells. You look up from the new book in your hands, ‘If We Were Villains’ by M.L. Rio. Your gaze fixes on Jack just as he shoots another ball towards the goal, making this one. Aaron cheers for him, as you clap. Jack runs over to where you are, giving you a high five, before running back and practicing some more.
Aaron stands there watching him for a few more moments, before making his way to you and flopping himself down next to you on the blanket. You close your book for good, smiling over at your boyfriend as he tilts his head down to give you a quick kiss.
“He’s getting a lot better.” You comment, turning back to Jack.
Aaron settles his arms around your waist, pulling you closer to him and resting his chin on your shoulder, “I know. He’s going to be the best on his team.”
You laugh at that, softly hitting his hands, “It’s not a competition Hotchner.”
“I beg to differ.”
You’re drawn from your banter by Aaron’s phone going off, he pulls it out, reading the message, before he frowns, making eye contact with you. You just sigh softly and start to gather your things.
So much for days off around here.
Jack sees you packing up, running over and jumping in your arms. He’s getting so big. He’s turning 7 in a few months and you know soon you’ll be falling over when he runs into you.
“Can we get ice cream?” He looks from you to his dad.
Aaron smiles, lifting an eyebrow at you as you shrug.
Ice cream does sound good.
“Alright.” Aaron agrees, “But we have to go to work so if we get ice cream it has to be quick.”
You walk into the round table room, making your way into the seat beside Spencer, waiting for the rest of the team.
“Why is you face so flushed?” You question him, seeing the red blush on his cheeks.
He gives you a deadpan look, “Because Morgan is trying to kill me.”
You furrow your brows at that, waiting for more explanation, when the said man walks into the room, making his presence known, “You’re the one that wore a suit to the ball park kid.”
Looking back and forth between their banter, you’re left with more questions.
“He might have to sub in on the softball game on Saturday.”
“Ah.” You respond, now understanding. How Morgan even got Reid to agree to be a sub for his team you have no idea, but you imagine it was probably some form of blackmail.
The rest of the team makes there way into the room, quite conversation going around the table, until Aaron walks in, his classic stoic frown accompanying his face, “Let’s get started.” He tells Garcia.
“Last night in Miami, the body of Amanda Lopez was found in an alley. She had been brutally beaten and suffocated.”
Morgan reads the notes from the file you were all given, “23, originally from Tampa, ran away from her foster home when she was 16.”
“Runaway and prostitute. Can’t get more high risk then that.”
“Based off how she was killed I’d say he’s a sexual sadist.” Blake states.
Garcia goes on to tell the team about the also long list of found dead animals in the last 6 months. DNA matching at all the crime scenes, but nothing coming up on the database.
“There is a lot of rage. Wonder why he’s so angry.” Derek ponders.
“It’s about the power. Suffocation takes work. He likes it up close and personal.” Rossi informs.
You apprise your own thoughts, looking at Aaron, worry evident in your voice, “He’s graduated from animals to humans.”
He nods once, gathering up the file in front of him, “We need to stop him before he goes serial. Wheels up in 30.”
When the team lands, you go with Reid and Morgan to the park where the last dog was found. Walking around and observing the people around, you spot two young teenagers not afraid of PDA. You make a face, looking at Morgan, he pops Reid on the shoulder, “Remember those days?”
Reid follows Derek’s hand, making his own face, “Mm not really.”
“Well, where did you hangout as a teenager?” You question him.
“Library, chemistry lab, library-“
You laugh as Morgan shakes his head, “No, no, no. We’re talking about normal, non-genius teenage type of stuff. Malls, coffee shops, parks.”
You look around, noticing he’s right, most of the people here are young.
“We passed a mall and two coffee shops on the way here.” Reid informs the both of you.
“And a high school.” You nod, seeing where Morgan is going with this. “That would explain why the unsubs so impulsive, he might still be an adolescent.”
You and the rest of the team are in the conference room, waiting to hear if Garcia found anything about the older unsub yet. The team profiled that it’s a partnership, one old and one young, the older being the teacher. You’re standing by Blake, watching Aaron as he looks at the board, frown deeper than usual on his face. He’s been in a particularly bad mood these last few days, worse than his normal work mood.
You aren’t the only one to notice, the rest of the team are also keeping their distance from your boss. You’ve asked him about it, when he’s sneaking into your hotel room to sleep, but he would just say he’s fine. You don’t want to push him so you dropped it, knowing he’ll tell you when he’s ready.
You hear Aaron’s cell ring, and watch as he pulls it out of his pocket, putting it on speaker, “Go ahead Garcia.”
“Sir I got something.” Her voice filters through the phone, “David Roy Turner, he’s a Miami resident, he shared a cell with Rudi Stein and remained pen pals after Turner was released.”
“What was Turner in for?” Rossi asks her.
“He assaulted an underage male prostitute.”
“So he has a preference for younger boys.” JJ comments.
You got an address?” Aaron asks.
“Uh, yeah, I already sent them. I got a home and two work addresses.”
Aaron looks around splitting up the team, he calls your name, “You, Morgan, Blake, and Reid, take the residence. The rest of us will take the work address.”
As you’re making your way out of the room to head to the SUV, you feel a hand grab your wrist. Turning, you see Aaron, a perplexing look on his face.
“Something wrong?” You ask him softly.
He shakes his head, eyes making contact with yours, and for just a moment, you see his guard fall, “Just-“ he stops himself, sighing loudly, before continuing, “Just be carful alright?”
Whatever is eating at him right now, it’s making him more protective than usual. The fact you both agreed to not go into the field together, so you ultimately have to split up, making him feel defenseless and uncomfortable.
You scan his face, nodding slowly, “Promise.”
This seems to satisfy him enough as he lets go of your wrist, nodding once, and putting the stoic mask back on, following the rest of the team to the vehicles.
You fucked up.
You know you fucked up, and walking into the police department, you can tell by the furious face of your boyfriend/boss, you know, he knows, you fucked up.
In your defense, this night could have ended much worse. You’re not hurt, you were able to save the last victim, and you got both unsubs. Sounds like a win.
Except, when you, Blake, Morgan, and Reid pulled up to the warehouse, and you heard a girl scream inside, you bolted. You ran straight into the fire without a second thought. The older unsub charged at you the moment you came through the doors, and if it hadn’t been for the self defense training Jack Garrett had been giving you the last few months, (His way of making up for the triathlon you didn’t get to do but had to train for.) you probably wouldn’t have been able to fight him off.
You weren’t going to tell Aaron. Realistically nothing happened, you’re fine, not even a scratch on you. But of course, sweet ol’ Morgan had to tell the rest of the team how you took down the man that was 2x your size, without help, and now, you are receiving what you would classify as a death glare from Aaron.
You feel his piercing gaze on you as you sort all of the files, putting them away for the trip home. You don’t look up though, knowing nothing good could come of that.
I’m fine. He’s mad over nothing.
After the team debriefs, you all head to the vehicles to grab your bags from the hotel. You try and make your way to the vehicle you arrived in, hoping if you give him some space Aaron will cool off, but based off of the hand that just grabbed your arm, you know that’s not going to happen.
You try to pull away, only to get a very harsh whisper, “Don’t even think about it.” As he drags you to his SUV.
He opens the car door for you, ushering you into the passenger seat, before making his way around to the other side. The only other person in the car is Rossi, sitting in the back, the rest of the team having the smarts to get in the other car.
You feel like a child in timeout, and spend the whole ride looking out the window instead. As you reach the hotel, Aaron tells the team wheels up in 40, then follows you to your room when everyone disperses.
Aaron stares at you, hands on his hips, his stoic, cold mask on his face. You however, do not make your life easier, instead, crossing your arms over your chest and raising your eyebrows at him.
“You promised me you would be safe.” His voice is hard and deep, sending shivers down your spine.
You shrug your shoulders, “And I was.”
Aaron narrows his eyes, “You call running into a warehouse and getting attacked safe?”
You scoff, almost laughing, “That’s our job Aaron. But I’m fine, nothing happened.”
“But something could have happened.” His voice raises a little. He punches the bridge of his nose, sighing loudly, “Just admit what you did was wrong.”
Now it’s your turn to narrow your eyes, hands moving to your hips, “Excuse me?”
“I think you can do a better apology than that.” He tells you.
Your voice raises, taking a step closer to him, “You want me to apologize? Are you kidding me?”
“No.”
You both stare at each other, the tension and anger rising in the room.
“You’re the one who’s had a stick up his ass all week and you want me to apologize for doing my job?!”
“You broke your promise.” He tells you calmly, face emotionless.
You shake your head unbelievably, “I’m not apologizing.”
You see Aaron’s jaw tick, his hands flexing, “What was that?”
He steps closer to you, making you have to look up at him as you speak, “I’m. Not. Apologizing.”
The next few moments happen so fast you can’t even proses them fully. He grabs your arms, turning you around and pressing you up on the wall, his chest on your back. Your eyes are wide as you gasp at the sudden force. Aaron leans in, whispering in your ear, “Apologize for breaking your promise, or I’ll have to punish you.”
“Aaron what the-“
A slap to your ass cuts off your sentence, another gasp leaving your mouth.
“Apologize.”
You stare at him in disbelief. The anger running in your veins slowly turning into desire.
In the 7 1/2 months you’ve been dating, Aaron has never been dominant in the bedroom. Honestly, you were surprised with how sweet and soft the sex with him was. And it’s not that the sweet and soft isn’t good, because it is.

“I’m sorry I broke my promise, sir.” Your voice coming out breathless, the effects of his actions evident.
He smirks, kissing under your ear, “Good girl.”
He turns you around so you’re facing him, hand coming up to cup your jaw, he leans in barely brushing your lips with his, “I’m afraid you still need to be punished though, or you’ll never learn your lesson.” His face is innocent, but his voice has a hint of mocking behind it.
You open your mouth, going to protest, instead a shriek falling from your lips as he picks you up and carelessly throws you on the bed. He hovers over you, grabbing the bottom of your shirt and pulling it off of you. Your bra goes next, followed by your pants, leaving you in only your underwear. He sits up enough to look over you with a heated gaze, eyes ranking up and down your body.
You watch his hands as they loosen the tie around his neck, pulling it through his collar and grabbing your wrists, putting them together, and tying them above your head. He is straddling you, legs on either side of your hips. He unbuttons his shirt next, carefully tossing it on the chair to his left.
Aaron moves back down, maintaining eye contact, as he takes one of your nipples in his mouth, sucking on it expertly. You moan softly at the feeling, whining when his hand pinches your other nipple, before he moves to soothe it with his tongue.
Once he is satisfied with your breasts, he starts kissing down your stomach, his right hand goes to rub over your mound, closing your eyes as you arch your back into him. He continues rubbing you over your underwear until an evident wet patch is formed.
Aaron grabs the sides of the fabric, slowly moving it down your legs, until it’s discarded on the floor with the rest of your clothes. As he makes his way back up to your wet core, he gives it the briefest kiss, then sits up enough to look at you. You whine, trying to close your legs to rub them together, give yourself some relief, but with Aaron sitting between them, the effort is futile.
He smirks down at you, mocking you, “Aw poor baby, is there something you want from me?”
You whine again, eyes hooded from what he’s already done with your body, “Aaron, please touch me,”
You jolt from the pinch you feel on the inside of your thigh, looking up at Aaron who is still smirking down at you, “What was that?”
“Sir,” sighing breathlessly, “Please touch me sir.”
“Only because you asked like such a good girl baby.”
The moan he draws from you, as he attacks the space between your legs with vigor, is loud. You would have been embarrassed if you weren't so desperate already to get off. Aaron continues to lick and suck between your folds as his left hand holds your hips down. With his other hand, Aaron wastes no time in pushing his middle finger into you, knuckle deep. You hopelessly fight the restraint of the tie around your wrists, wishing to be able to grab and pull his hair.
Getting closer and closer to your high, you’re about to reach your peak, when Aaron stops abruptly, completely pulling from you.
You almost feel like crying actual tears, but don't have the time as he grabs your legs and flips you onto your stomach.
“You’ll come, when I think you’ve earned it.” He tells you, voice hoarse with his own want. You hear him start removing his pants. Once there off, he pulls you up onto your knees and settles behind you, waisting no time in pushing his hard cock into your aching core.
You both moan loudly as he sets a brutal pace, his fingers bruising your hips, as he pulls you back to meet each of his thrusts, going deeper and harder each time.

He leans forward, kissing your forehead. Pulling back, you see hesitance in his eyes as he asks, “Was that alright?”
“Aaron,” You bring your own hand up to stroke his face, “That was more than alright. I quite enjoyed it actually.”
He smiles sweetly at you, resting his forehead against yours, “Me too.”
After a few more moments, and a few more shared kisses, he sighs dramatically, looking at his watch, “We need to get dressed. Have to meet the team in the lobby in 10 minutes.”
You both move efficiently around the room, putting your clothes back on. You finish before him, watching as he buttons his shirt back on, “Hey,” you get his attention, “What was bothering you this week.”
Aaron stops what he’s doing, shoulders dropping, as he takes a deep breath, “I just have this weird feeling.”
You tilt your head at him, “What sort of weird feeling.”
“Like the glass is filling too fast and I don’t know how to stop it before it overflows.” His hand drags down his face.
You nod, not knowing what to say to reassure him, “You don’t have to fight that feeling alone. You know that right?”
Aaron looks at you, nodding softly, “I know. Thank you.”
You’re sitting in the stands, the sun hitting, warmth heating your skin, as you and the rest of the team, along with Jack and Henry, watch the FBI vs Secret Service softball match.
It’s the bottom of the ninth, two outs, and FBI is down by one run. Morgan hits the ball and makes it to second base effortlessly. The next up to bat is Reid, and you can tell he’s feeling the pressure, already having stuck out each time he went up to bat. Derek calls a time out, going to give Spence a nice pep talk, after the other team moves up the field.
You watch as the final pitch of the game is thrown, anticipation all around you as everyone holds their breath. You hear the clank of the bat connect with the ball as it fly’s though the sky. Aaron and Jack jump up, as you see Spencer just watch the ball. Everyone starts yelling at him to run and he drops the bat, making it to first base, then second, then third, and then all the way home with a slide for the win.
Derek picks Reid up onto one shoulder as the other players surround him. You and the team move to the fence, yelling and cheering for your friends. Everyone is all smiles and laughs as you celebrate the win.
But through all the joy in the moment, you get this sickening emotion of nervousness wash over you, the hairs on the back of your neck standing up. You look around, not noticing anything out of the ordinary, and try to go back to the celebration.
All while, the glass is still filling.

Based on Criminal Minds Season 7 Episodes 23 and 24 “Hit” and “Run”

Today started like a normal day off. You didn’t have school so your friend and her mom were going to pick you up and take you to the mall and then the movies. Your mom also had the day off and she was spending it at home with Henry while he had a play date. After Will left, your friend arrived and you said goodbye to your mom.
“Bye Y/n. Be good,” she said. She hugged you and kissed your forehead.
“I will don’t worry,” you said. You hugged her back and ran out the door. JJ watched as you climbed into the back seat. She waved goodbye to you and you did the same.
Your friend’s mom, Andrea, turned in her seat to look at you two, “I have to stop at the bank first.”
Both you and your friend nodded and turned to each other and started talking. The bank wasn’t too far from your house so the ride wasn’t bad. All three of you got out of the car and into the building. You stood in line and waited for your turn.
“Why is the line so long?” your friend complained.
“Cause there’s a lot of people,” her mom said back, “It’s almost our turn.”
Before you could make it to the counter, a gunshot rang through the building. All three of you crouched down and tried to get away from the sound.
The three people wearing the masks had you and all the other people line up together. You heard the unsubs on the phone with law enforcement. You had hoped it was your mom. You knew she took on cases like this, but today was her day off. If the team was on this case, she may or may not be here.
What you didn’t know is that both your mom and Will were working the case. They were right outside the building, not knowing you were inside. If either of them found out, or if the team did, they wouldn’t be able to stay. Their emotions would get the better of them.
It felt like you had been stuck in that bank for days but it had only been a few hours. Andrea had told you and your friend to keep your eyes closed and to block out the sounds. She didn’t want either of you to see or hear anything. Despite her precautions, both of you had still heard the shots that had already killed several people. The unsubs had let most of the children go except for you two. You heard one of the unsubs on the phone, asking for the cop who shot his brother. After a few minutes the door opened.
You opened your eyes and looked over your shoulder to see who it was. You gasped when you saw it was Will. Before you could react, the male unsub shot him in the shoulder. You shrieked and tried to get to him but you were pulled back.
The female unsub looked to you and then to Will, then back to you, “Come here,” she said to you. You shook your head but she motioned for you anyway. You complied, not wanting to get hurt if you didn’t listen. You made your way over to her and she placed her hand on your shoulder. She led you closer to Will. Once he saw you, his eyes grew wide.
“Y/n, what are you doing here?” he asked. He was holding his shoulder and you could tell he was in a lot of pain.
“We had to stop here before the mall,” you said, “Are you okay?”
Will only nodded. He was in too much pain to give you a verbal answer. The male unsub grabbed Will and pulled him to his feet. They two of them dragged you two through the bank and outside. You couldn’t keep up with the three adults so to make things go quicker, the female unsub knocked you in the head, leaving you unconscious.

You felt someone gently shaking your shoulder. You opened your eyes slowly and groaned when the bright light hit you. You could just barely make out Will’s face looking concerned, “Come’on, we gotta get going,” he helped you out of the car as best as he could. His arm was still injured but he was hiding it well. You held onto him and stayed as close to him as possible. You trusted Will and trusted that he knew what he was doing. The female unsub stayed close behind the both of you.
“Play nice, like we talked about,” she said. You felt Will tense up at her words.
“Close the gate will ya?” he asked her through gritted teeth. You knew you would have to try and hide your own emotions so no one would think anything was wrong. Henry ran up to Will and he let go of you to pick Henry up, “Hey buddy, stay with your sister while I talk to Miss Kate,” he sat Henry down and you held his hand.
“Have you seen the news today?” your dad asked.
“I heard but I didn’t want the kids to see it,” Kate said, “Are you working the case?”
Will nodded, “Yeah, in shifts.”
“Hi, I’m Izzy, Will’s cousin,” the female unsub, who’s name is apparently Izzy, said. She stuck her hand out for Kate to shake.
“If you need Henry and Y/n to stay here they can,” Kate responded.
Will looked down to you and Henry, “It’s okay. Izzy will watch them. Y/n got herself a nasty head injury today so she’s taking it easy for now.”
Kate shot you a sympathetic look, “I hope you feel better Y/n.”
You mumbled a quick thank you before Will got you, Henry, and Izzy inside. He waited until Kate was gone before he crouched down in front of you two, “Izzy is going to watch you for a little bit. Be good for her,” he hugged Henry and kissed the top of his head. When he got to you, he hugged you longer and whispered in your ear, “If anything happens, take him and hide somewhere. Everything will be okay.”
You were sure he could feel how nervous you were. You knew more of what was happening than Henry. You nodded and looked at Will, “What about my head?”
He moved some of the hair out of your face, getting a good look at the injury on your temple, “You’ll be okay. When I get back we’ll take care of it,” he hugged you and Henry one last time before leaving you alone with her. She smiled brightly at you and led both you and your brother into the kitchen.

Henry was doing a great job of keeping her occupied. You could tell she was uncomfortable around kids. You were sitting across from the two of them. Your head was pounding and it was getting hard to keep your eyes open. You remember Spencer telling you at one point that if you ever had a head injury you had to stay awake. You didn’t remember why, your mind was really foggy right now. You were about to close your eyes when a sound jolted you awake.
“Stay here,” Izzy said. She got up and pulled her gun out. She left the room and you grabbed Henry. You followed Will’s instructions and hid the two of you in one of the closets.
“What are we doing?” he asked you.
You held a finger up to your lips, “We have to be quiet Henry,” you whispered, “We’re playing hide and seek. We don’t want to be found.”
Henry nodded and kept quiet. You could hear Izzy and another person talking. You recognized the voice as your mom’s. You so badly wanted to get out of the closet and go to her but you knew you couldn’t. You heard the talking escalate and heard fighting. You pulled Henry and yourself away from the door and deeper into the closet. The darkness of the room wasn’t helping your head situation. You felt tired and started to close your eyes. You felt Henry try and shake you but you were already sleeping.

Izzy was in custody now and JJ was searching the house for her kids. She heard a thump come from the closet. She walked over and cautiously opened the door. She let out a sigh of relief when she saw Henry looking up at her but concerned when she saw your figure laying on the floor. She moved you out of the closet and saw the injury on your head, “Y/n wake up. I need you to wake up for me please? Wake up for me,” she pressed her fingers to your neck, checking for a pulse. She felt one, and started shaking you lightly, “It’s me. You and Henry are okay now. Wake up.”
You still hadn’t woken up by the time the ambulance had arrived. JJ placed you on a stretcher and rode in the back with you until you arrived at the hospital. Will was already there, getting his own injury taken care of. They wheeled you straight into a CT scan. After the scan, they took you back to your room where JJ was waiting.
“Is she okay?”
“We’re waiting for results but we think it’s a grade three concussion. She’ll need to stay for at least the night so we can monitor her,” the nurse said. She locked the bed in place and left you and your mom alone.
After you were recovered and out of the hospital, you were all meeting at Rossi’s. You didn’t know what was going on until the ceremony started. You were so happy that your mom and Will were finally getting married. Ever since Will met your mom, he looked after you like you were his own. He didn’t care that you weren’t biologically his. You knew how happy he made your mom and you were happy he was now a part of your family.
