This painting "Monkeys as Judges of Art" by Gabriel Von Max was painted in 1889 and so is in the Public Domain and free to use for any project.
I really love this painting. There are so many monkeys crowded into the space and each one seems to have it's own story. I never would have guessed this was from the 1800's. It has such a modern sense to me.
