North Node conjunct Chiron

With the North Node conjunct Chiron, you may find yourself on a perennial quest to find a mentor. Maybe you didn't have access to role models as a kid, and you're still yearning to be witnessed and guided by someone wise. Or maybe you did have folks to look up to, and now you seek to replicate that experience.

Chiron is a healer, and you may feel drawn toward healing work, such as by concocting your own herbal medicines, or working as a nurse, doula, doctor, osteopath, chiropractor (or any other healer besides.)

The lunar nodes can tip into extremes at times, and one of your missions will involve learning how to internalize the mentor/healer figure. Does your search for outside knowledge ever deny your own wisdom? Does healing other people feel easier, somehow, than confronting your own aches and pains?

What if all these sides of you nourish each other? You can be the seeker and the sage, the healer and someone in their own stages of recovery.

Esoteric Chiron: The Wounded Master of the Misunderstood

What’s so important about nodal Chiron conjunction Astrologers are on about?

Not the North Node so much, as that only holds energy for the future of this lifetime, and contrary to popular belief, is not directly related to karma (which is ruled by Saturn.)

Chiron (the wounded master healer), as the ruling planet of Virgo (overall health and service to self), has to do with each persons neglected inner healing abilities. When we’re experiencing Virgo energy, we’re needing more time and space to become comfortable with our own vulnerabilities, even before beginning to analyze and explore which healing methods we want to dive into.

I find it ironic then, that people neglect Chiron in general in Astrology, due to the misconception that it’s a comet, and try to force Virgo into Mercury rulership where it doesn’t belong.

Or did this happen by design? Are we being taught through misdirection, to learn how to recognize the erratic patterns (through Chirons erratic orbit) in our own lives, as we’re confronted with feelings of inadequacy?

Chiron is a key (look at His glyph) which unlocks etheric abilities within esoteric Astrology; our shadow doors of over-compensation and self-sabotage.

With this conjunction taking place in Aries, we have warrior energy present (and prepared, with conscious work) to fight our own habits, and emerge fully victorious.

This is how Chiron teaches us self improvement, so that we can then teach others. Chiron was highly of service to others and he inspires the same in us.

One of the popular perceptions about Chiron is that it is a wound so deep it can never be fully healed. This type of belief serves to convince people to remain trapped in cycles of trauma, where they self-fulfil limitations. It also programs people to ignore Chiron, dismissing Him as “just a victim mentality obsessed comet”, which they deem unimportant.

What is Chiron incapable of doing? Possibly nothing. In Grecian times, he was a centaur who took a holistic approach to health, and was a renowned polymath of the sciences and the arts, who taught many. These students went on to also become accomplished, and include Jason (of the Argonauts), Achilles, Hercules, Aeneas (who founded Rome), and many others. He was shot in the leg (accidentally) by Hercules and suffered immensely as a half-God immortal, rather than dying. This is the origin of the misconception that Chiron represents unending suffering.

Strangely, even people who recognize that myths are metaphors, perpetuate the agenda of chaining Chiron to the worlds unending suffering. People only suffer endlessly because we collectively create reality as chaotic, in unawareness of the manifestation abilities inherent in humanity.

Chiron knew this, and embodying higher consciousness, he came up with a plan. Zeus had tortured Prometheus for years, because Prometheus stole fire and gave it to humanity. As a mortal, he was close to death when Chiron saved him. With Hercules’ help, Zeus agreed to allow Chiron trade destinies with Prometheus. Then, mortal, Chiron was able to die and become part of the constellation of Sagittarius. This is why Sagittarius’ symbol is the centaur, and why Chiron works with us on service to self, to be of service to others in the longer term. Chiron healed his victimhood through sacrifice.

Chiron is some of the most mysterious and strange, yet rewarding energy to work with, if we have the courage. He balances the animal instincts with the more refined side of human nature.

Aries is the house with the most courage, and Chiron there is stirred into either compulsively avoiding trauma in favour of physical action, or confidently hacking through the fray. This can be a deeply disturbing energy for those who don’t have a particularly harmonious or healed Aries in their own charts. When Aries heals, they embrace their emotional lows along with highs, including areas of vulnerability. Aries is the great healer of fear, relishing a challenge. Explosive emotions can be expected, when working with Chiron in Aries, and brought up and out to be released, Aries guards and protects each one of Chirons doors within. Together, they lead us into being able to become leaders.

See your Chiron sign, house, aspects, and degree placements, along with wherever and however you find Virgo in your natal chart, for guidance on how Chiron is presenting Himself to you. Throughout life, aspects are activated as they’re similar to your natal aspects. In our late 40’s / early 50’s we experience the Chiron return - He reaches the position he was at in the natal chart. This is an opportunity to evaluate our personal growth process, discover rewards, and plan what comes next; being able to give more to others

A personal note of interest: In the natal of when Chiron was discovered in 1977, it was in Taurus (in the 4th house of family, the foundation of the psyche, and generational patterns). When I was born in 1980, Chiron was still in Taurus. For my entire adult life, I’ve had this strange feeling that I was born too late, and “missed” something important that had happened in 1977. That year has a pattern of jumping out for me when I listen to music or watch films from, or taking place in the ’70’s. I’m among those who have a familiarity with the general period when Chiron was discovered, and how it was first consciously experienced by the Planet. It’s also one of my charts ruling planets, and so I’m well placed to eventually write a book about Chiron. I continue to study and explore my inner landscape, transmuting shadows and discovering change, and in whichever ways you feel called to, I hope you do too.

Saturn in 10th is a frustrating placement (my mom had it last year and basically with this you feel financially helpless, you keep on trying and trying but nothing works, but the good thing is that 2-3 months before your next birthday, you're gonna hit the jackpot, so don't worry too much) (my sister also has it this year)

I have noticed that in every solar return chart that I've looked at, the chiron was in conjunction with the north node and it has happened way too many times for me to call it a coincidence. (do you have it as well, let me know) (according to my observations, the house that it's in represents the area where you'll experience pain but also by the end of the year, you're gonna be able to deal with the themes of that house in a better way, am I making sense??) just let me know if you have any questions about this placement, I think it's very common

The year in which you have a gemini AC, you will focus a lot on building your professional network, a lot of communication, short distance travel and improving your relationship with your siblings, if you have any. (my sister has it this year and her master's will end on 29th April, she has applied to many places for a job and she's also coming to visit me, I'M GOING TO MEET HER AFTER 5 FUCKING YEARS😁😁)

Mars in 12th indicates a low libido, a very exhausting year in general, if you also have sun in 1st then... It can be pretty bad (it's like you KNOW that you need to stop procrastinating, but you really can't help it, so you look calm on the outside but your brain is like AKDHSGHSKGSKJDJK)

Jupiter in 10th in aries is a REALLY GOOD placement. (you get the courage to go after what you want, especially in terms of career) and if Jupiter is Trine/sextile with saturn, then it's even better

Aries in 2nd is an impulsive shopping placement (if you have it and you think you need something, you don't) (one of my friends had this last year and he bought a hat for €150...... Yeah. He has saturn in 2nd this year and he's finally facing the consequences of his actions)

I know that saturn in 8th is associated with difficulties in sex and intimacy but there's another side to it (a lot of my friends have had this, and they became really mature about sexual matters, like if they were previously very into the hook up culture then that year they were more cautious and had this "I'm going to have sex with the person who I genuinely like or love" mentality)

This is very shocking but I looked at the solar returns of all the married couples I know and the year in which they got married, NONE OF THEM had a 7th house stellium 💀💀. For men, I didn't notice a pattern, but for women, 90% of them had Venus positively aspecting saturn (mostly, Trine and sextile but 2 had a conjunction)

My favorite solar return placement has to be mercury conjunct Jupiter, if its happening in capricorn or virgo, then you're really precise and direct with your words, a very leader type aura for that year. If it's in libra, then good for flirting and talking to your crush, there's a high chance they'll fall for your charms. If it's in pisces, then it's your sign to start a cult.

💝 venus conjunct venus - partners express love in the same way as one another. but sometimes it’s too much of the same energy causing partners to clash over their more challenging venus traits. this aspect works best if the venus signs aren’t in detriment or malefic.

💝 venus conjunct mars - this aspect indicates partners getting together/moving quickly. usually mars takes on the masculine role & is the one that makes the first move whilst venus acts more feminine, passive & seductive. the couple become sexual with each other quite quickly due to the guaranteed sexual attraction. however, they may get under each others skin & mars isn’t afraid to bite back.

💝 venus conjunct sun - this interaction played out differently to what i expected. firstly, the connection didn’t feel that sexual or romantic. consequently, the chemistry wasn’t strong enough to warrant any sort of longing for him. this may may be a outcome of the traditional gender roles being reversed, with the man’s femininity amplified through his venus & the woman’s masculinity amplified through her sun. secondly, i felt it was a very “all or nothing” rxship; it felt too demanding & i felt suffocated at times. however, these rxship always take on the qualities of the sign the conjunction is in. in my case, it was in aries, which would explain why i felt that way. regardless, within this rxship venus is responsible for the harmony & functionality. venus seeks attention & validation from sun.

💝 venus conjunct jupiter - partners experience joy when together. this aspect gives an element of luck financially so partners may gain financial abundance & material gain. partners are prone to a lack of discipline & overindulgence when together (overeating, overspending, laziness, partying, etc).

💝 venus conjunct lilith - possibly a secretive rxship that feels so taboo & probably is. the attraction lilith feels for venus is so deep yet toxic. lilith is repulsed yet can't keep their eyes off venus. obsession is definitely possible & venus could feel trapped really fast. there is so much sexual tension & attraction that making this synastry quite unforgettable.

Astrology Observations No.27:

*just based on my observations, pleas only take what resonates

(Trying to write more posts and answer more asks lately, everything has been so busy omg- hope you all enjoy what I can put out there tho! c:)

-A perspective but I think Libra placements (big 6 but especially Venus and mars) are attracted to harmonious/balanced appearances, like I think having that glow from confidence in your aesthetic and it fitting you and things like that can make you just as attractive to Libra placements as conventional measurements of beauty

-Sun Conjunct Venus makes you really charismatic and you probably attract a lot of people by being yourself, and sometimes these natives can be people pleasers especially if they’re trying to impress others

-Quietly I associate your mars sign and your MC the most with the work you’ll do. Mars because you can’t divorce your passion from your work (says the Capricorn). And MC because it’s what you’re known for and that’s often tied to some sort of work/action. North node is tied in there too but it plays out so long term it can be harder to summarize. (I can do a post about the general fields that placements tend to go towards if folks are interested?)

-Aries and Sagittarius Mercury tied for most likely to accidentally blurt out your secrets

-Chiron Venus aspects (especially square, opposition, and conjunction) may find themselves undoing a lot of pressure around their looks or being especially hard on themselves over their perceived flaws/imperfections

-The sign over your 5th house may denote if you have many or few casual romantic connections (Saturn/Capricorn pointing to fewer one end of the scale and Jupiter/Sagittarius pointing to many at the other end of the scale, depends on Venus and mars too)

-You may find yourself accidentally pouring your heart out to water moons (especially cancer over how emotionally in-tune they are and scorpio over traaaaumaaa oml)

-I feel like Sagittarius can feel less mutable because Jupiter makes some of the forms of expression so big (ex. A Sagittarius Mars can get so mad at you and blow up, Sagittarius Mars/Venus typically date many partners, Sagittarius moons can express their emotions in a big way- I probably feel this way bc I’m Sag Pluto, the extremes lol)

-I’ve noticed that Venus dominants can seek more attention compared to like Leo/sun doms

-Fixed Venus can become codependent on their partner, putting heavy exceptions on their person for them to be their everything if underdeveloped— but if developed they can be very loyal to their person

-Mutable Venus aren’t quite commitment-phobic but they tend to be looking for a really special combination of traits to actually settle down with (when they’re monogamous), otherwise they get distracted very easily (or they treat their romantic options, and sometimes friends, like very temporary things- for better or for worse)

-Cardinal Venus are most likely to really go after what they want romantically, I think out of all the Venus modalities they have the most accurate idea of what they want at heart, from the start. But on the shadow side of this, they may be manipulative or try to conform their partner into what they want. (may play out differently for moon opposition/square Venus)

-I feel like where ever Venus is heavy in your chart may be how people assume you’re gracious but in a somewhat shallow way (ex. Venus conjunct mercury, people may find your voice and expression charming but assume you’re not that smart)

-Venus/Saturn aspects/ Capricorn Venus tend to have a lot of unrequited love interests and crushes that don’t reciprocate their affections when they’re younger but as they get older they tend to get the most affection from suitors that are older than them (be careful out here! Sometimes these old folks don’t know anything and they have bad intentions- girl when I say I had to take my own advice)

-Leos (big 3, especially sun & Asc) often know the right thing to say to charm you, it’s like when they want to they hit that sweetspot dead on. So do Libra’s (big 3) but they tend to approach things less directly, like compliments that really sit with you and come onto you in quieter, sometimes less serious way (if they have both in their big 3 then they’re just -a charmer- and idk I take that at face value 80% of the time lol but I’m a skeptic)

-I find that Pisces and Sagittarius placements (big 6 but especially sun for identity and moon for emotionality) often get VERY into spirituality at some point in their lives

-People with Jupiter in Virgo tend to work very diligently, almost too hard sometimes and they can be prone to burning themselves out from this behavior (something something don’t burn the candle at both ends- hypocritical from a Jupiter in Capricorn person lol but still)

-We talk about how Scorpio placements observe every detail about you, but I like Pisces placements (big 6 but especially sun, moon, Venus, and mars) have told me things about myself and habits I have that I’ve never noticed about myself. They’re super observant they notice a lot. I think they have this in common with their sister sign, Virgo. But I noticed Pisces will use their intuition in their observations instead of just analyzing. (I.e. you do x when you’re angry, is it because you feel defensive? Or I noticed you light up when you talked about him, you must really like him)- can also apply to Neptune Conjunct your big 3 (especially moon), and big 3 in 12th but it’s a bit more second nature to them than Pisces

-The season of your Venus sign is the time you’re most likely to indulge in self care and purchases for yourself (Sag season started and all of a sudden I was like I need makeup now, even though I hardly wear it in the winter lol)

-The season of your mars is the time you’re most like to take major actions (starting a business, going on solo adventures, etc)

-The season of your sun is when you’re most likely going to receive the most public recognition (also when the sun is transiting your MC/10th house)

⚘ I’ve noticed every friendship I’ve that ended up other me cutting them out had their Chiron on my 12H. could mean searching for your path, like taking conscious for what direction their friendship is going.

⚘ I have a twin and we have the same birth chart: our synastry is horrible. jk but there’s a lot of conjunctions -exact positions-, conjunctions are not always ideal, a lot less when it’s in excess. not if you’re searching for a deep relationship. there’s a lot of boredom and conflict. for example, ascendant conjunction ascendant can bring superficiality and from one part trying to be peaceful, without expressing themselves truthfully, delivering to boredom from both parts.

⚘ venus opposition moon: venus can feel the moon is too distant, as if they have wall in front of them. the way venus wish the moon shows their love and care for them is not as they expected. venus has to somehow try to understand -if they want the relationship to advance- not everyone shows love the same way. also moon needs to exteriorize or help the moon: not only venus to do all the work.

⚘ their lilith (mean) on 12H means the lilith person embrace what 12H represents on the house persons's life. their spirituality, their subconscious. to be more in tune with it. for example, ik two people with this synastry and the lilith person is very spiritual, they even have payed for medium sessions for the house person -doesn’t have to be that specific, spirituality can be expressed in different ways-.

𑁍 the ascendant says a lot in a composite chart, it’s the vibe, how they unfold between each other. for example, if the ascendant is in aquarius, while time passes, they learn to enjoy and embrace the goofiness of each other, they spend a good time and are comfortable with each other.

𑁍 also, the degree of the ascendant it’s important. it explains how they react to things in general, how they solve their problems in pair. for example, if there’s aries degree, it says that there’s a part of individuality here, aries reminds me of someone who can get carried away by their impulses and leadership traits, they want to do their thing, on their own. one of the pair it’s feeling left out in some kinda way. not saying all the time but in a specific topic, there’s more information if you between the dots reading the chart.

𑁍 jupiter conjunction venus tells in this relationship they can bring positivity and joy between each other, they help each other to get out of hard/emo times. they could have survived together from different groups.

𑁍 chiron square mars 0° orb: there are issues to being direct in what they’re annoyed, to fight and to not escape, they probably want to be in peace and focus on it, not remembering that treating the problem together can be more beneficial. the orb makes an emphasis. while time passes, they’re meant to reach balance, in other words, to learn from this and take action.
