Surprise cocoa recipe:

- 10 oz milk

- 2 tbsp sugar (mix of brown and regular)

- 2 tbsp cocoa powder (play around with different types!)

- 1 tsp vanilla extract

- 1 tsp instant cofee

- small pinch of salt

- (optional) dash of cinnamon and cardamom

- couple oz of chocolate (any kind mixed how you like)

Start by adding all the dry ingredients to a pot over medium temperature, pouring in a tbsp or two of water and whisk thoroughly till it forms a smooth "sauce." Add milk and heat till simmering. Add chocolate and stir till melted, use a spatula here to get in the corners. In your cup/mug/whatever add the vanilla (to keep it from being cooked off). Pour mix into cup, top with whatever, and enjoy.

Ah! Its fine, I feel I could've worded it better, but to me dumbification is when they call you stupid, make you feel like an idiot, treat you like an object and truly dont care for how they treat you.

Its a bit of a hard kink to really pin point so some things I'm ok with but if its asked for outright I tend to turn away. Dumbification is becoming a bit less of a squick for me as I'm overcoming certain things, but since it's still so finicky I try to keep it as an umbrella term for now.

However being brainless can mean "Blissed out" "completely relaxed" "high" but not necessarily dumb and or stupid! I tend to get squicked when they make the victim out to be this idiot who doesn't deserve love or to feel good and is only this piece of garbage that is too stupid to fend for themselves

But! I've read some works that make me see that it can be positive too but with what I suffered at 15 and 16 with an older ex, and childhood abuse where I was berated and called dumb, stupid, worthless and so on, (and still do as I live with an abuser) I still get uncomfortable and even upset when this is brought up in fics and such.

No shade to those who do enjoy it, I see the appeal! Its just a hard area for me and while I'm trying to explore myself, I still am unsure of my boundaries and prefer to keep it as a broad term for now until I figure myself out more!

Legacy bursts into the small clearing, shaking some of the leaves from his hair and looking around for you, tilting his head this way and that until he catches sight of you perched in the tree and lets out a joyful trill. he reaches for you, directly underneath where you're sitting, and nods reassuringly

you lean back and fall, unafraid, landing perfectly in Legacy's arms with a small thump. he leans in to press his forehead against yours and at the same time you run your fingers through his coppery hair, smoothing out the tangles and brushing out any residual leaves and sticks caught in the tresses. your monster companion tilts his head back, silently requesting scritches and rumbling in delight when you comply and scratch under his chin. in one swift motion Legacy pulls you against his chest, pressing his masked cheek against the top of your head and letting out a content sigh as you brush your thumb over his mouth, smiling at the sensation of him delicately nibbling your fingers

Agreed that chocolate is the best thing ever and too much chocolate is a myth. My favourite thing is hot chocolate but the kind that’s made by melting chocolate and adding milk and cream to make it into a drink, then adding squirty cream, chocolate power and a ton of marshmallows.

What would the ROs do if Mc came to them for comfort after a nightmare.

Fadiya would wake up completely and make sure to listen to MC if they feel like sharing how they feel after the nightmare. She would make some cold chamomile tea for the both of them and probably stay up together to talk about random things.

Helios would invite MC to sit with him on the bed and if MC is willing to share they'd talk about the nightmare. He would say he knows just the thing to get MCs mind off things and take out his latest cringe romance novel. He would read it to them until they fall asleep.

Hunter is always extremely tired after their duty ends so they wouldn't be fully awake but they'd pull MC into bed with them and hold them close. Despite how sleepy they are, they ask MC how they're feeling and if they need anything. They would stroke their back till they were sure MC was asleep and not having another nightmare.

Soarine would open her arms for MC to bury themselves into and she would talk about things not related to the nightmare so MC would forget about it. She'd talk about places they could go to the next day and she'd complain about stupid things to make them laugh. The smile on MCs face after they fall asleep makes Soarine sigh out of relief.

Vincent tries his best to comfort MC, though he's not the best at it. He would ask what the nightmare was about then later shows them his sketches of them to take their mind off the nightmare. He stays awake far too long after MC falls asleep, just to make sure they don't have another nightmare.

Like,,, for a few days being unable to leave the house because snow has literally covered everything and opening the door means being met with a wall of solid ice. But of course in Snezhnaya that's to be expected so the house is fully stocked in supplies – so there's no need to panic! It's just that you just can't leave. (Cue mental image of Legacy attempting to burrow out before giving up because it's too much trouble.)

But sir mothman? Sir mothman is delighted he can keep you all to himself for a few days, without having to wait for you to return home from work.

you are so right about winter practically being here already because it has been FREEZING this past week!!! what on earth!!!

Snezhnaya was stuck in a particularly bad set of snowstorms at the moment, so it wasn't much of a surprise when you woke up one morning to the front door completely frozen. it's covered in a sheet of ice, and the windows are much the same- they won't budge no matter how hard you try- so you not-so-reluctantly put down your work bag and return to your bed, carefully sliding back under the covers. Foul Legacy, still asleep, stirs a little, letting out a drowsy, questioning trill, and you simply kiss his forehead and snuggle into his chest, happy to be under the warm covers again

Legacy is ecstatic when he fully wakes up a few hours later, nudging you gently and chirping happily- normally you'd be at work by now! but you're here with him! he glances out the window at the snow, falling without pause, and nuzzles his face against the crook of your neck with a purr. if snow means that you'll stay home with him, then he's more than happy to watch the snow fall for weeks on end. he only gets up when you get up, following you to the kitchen and plonking his chin on your shoulder as you make hot chocolate, rumbling in delight when you reach up to scratch behind his horns

oh and he DOES try to burrow out through the snow, less to actually get outside and more just to make you laugh- but he forgot how biting the cold can be, and hastily crawls back into the house covered in snow and ice crystals. Legacy whines, shivering as you attempt to brush the snow off his armor before wrapping him in a blanket and guiding him to the fireplace. he curls around you, his claws wrapped around your wrist as you bundle him in more quilts and covers until he's an Abyssal moth blanket burrito, toasty and sleepy and letting out soft snores

Legacy's a little sad when the snow finally melts and you can go to work, but he knows that it'll happen again- you're in Snezhnaya, and the next snowstorm is always just around the corner
