AHHHHH!!! i just screamed. you're disturbing my soul's utter tranquility with this (thank you). the picture practically paints itself: i can imagine all of them lounging outside on ancient yet lavish patio chairs, telling one another old anecdotes in greek or sharing gossipy stories from campus, mainly told by richard (who certainly cares and gets around way more than the rest do, confined in their pretentious little academic bubble).

Cirrus has Rain so wrapped around her finger it's adorable, he's a lovesick puppy when it comes to her.

He hangs off every word, vys hopelessly for her attention (which she gives freely she literally doesn't get why he doesn't just ask for it like a normal person), stumbles over himself for her. Cirrus can make him tongue tied without even trying.

Oh after her first time playing the solo in mummy dust the second they got off stage he hugged her around the waist and gave her a little spin. He still blushes thinking about it, and the way she giggled and how her voice pitched up in surprise. She kissed him quick on the corner of his mouth, and it was the first time she'd ever done it, and he has the stupidest grin on his face the whole night.

When he's the one she leans into when they're squished on the couch together, his heart swells and he has to stop his tail from wriggling in excitement. When Rain gets to be the one to share her bed, even in the most innocent of circumstances, he's on cloud nine - gets to lay in her warmth and admire the way her body slots into his, gets to truly enjoy the scent of fresh linen and vanilla - its the best sleep of his life. When she says his name his heart skip a beat, something fond and delicate about the way it rolls off her clever tongue, like she's savoring the way it sounds.

Rain loves her in a way that is so pure it could almost be considered human.
