Okay, I’m gonna stick to the raw evidence I’ve seen, so here’s the facts that I have available to me.
I have barely ever even seen predstrogen post pictures, period, let alone seen a mistagged nsfw picture on her blog. That doesn’t mean it hasn’t happened, but I can’t find it so I can’t assume it’s there.
On the other hand, I have seen examples of several anonymous asks, sent both to her and other tumblr users about her, that would definitely constitute harassment.
A few of those asks were sent by non-anonymous users and all the one’s I have seen have been banned
I have seen the cars and hammers post.
The cars and hammers post is so hilariously not a threat I’d be laughing if the subject of the post were not taking it as an excuse to ban a trans woman for life from the platform he executives.
Several different tumblr users have pointed out that there is an ongoing harassment campaign against predstrogen, presumably referring to the asks I mentioned in 2.
@photomatt answered an ask last night about the growing sentiment among trans women on tumblr that staff is transphobic, in which he claimed that she had made multiple TOS violations, including posting unlabeled nsfw pictures, threatening people, and harassing them. He also misgendered her initially, but edited the post after several people pointed it out(although first he changed the wording to refer to “the account”)
When pressed to show these tos violations, Matt provided a screenshot of (initially url-less, later shown to be) predstrogen commenting on how she thought posting about her death wishes about Matt would get her banned, which he later added the context of the above post being the cars and hammers post.
Predstrogen’s account was banned, as well as the second account(apparently she has had to make new accounts a few times due to getting banned for similar issues, but I’ve only followed her for less than a year) she made to document most of the things that happened to her.
Specifcslly, her first account was banned after posting a completely sfw transition timeline photo, and her second account was banned right after posting a screenshot of the above mentioned reply, with more or less incredulity at the fact that the ask response referenced contacting the police and fbi.
Matt seems to be taking the backlash personally, publicly apologizing for the perceptions of transphobia on his personal blog and lamenting the initial ask reply. He has not done anything to indicate a reversal on the predstrogen decision, and insists that there are many more examples of harassment from her. He has answered several more asks and repeatedly encouraged people to “not patronize a business you think is transphobic”
SO, what can we draw from these facts? Well, one thing I can say, for sure, is that with what I currently know and what I have seen, predstrogen should not have been banned. Unless Matt has some significantly more egregious examples of threats, or examples of harrassment(people calling you transphobic isn’t harassment), or any examples of an unlabeled mature post(hell I don’t think I’ve even seen a labeled mature posts on her blog), then I think any bans applied to her accounts are in error and if staff are sitting on a big pile of nothing and not doing that, that is gonna draw their morality and ability to effectively moderate this site into even further question than it has been.
The terfs I’ve seen harassing Rita, at least when they’re stupid enough to leave their names visible, have been banned. I can’t follow the thread to see if claims about them being able to easily remake accounts and continue doing terf shit because i don’t run in terf circles enough to know who they were and what happened afterward. Assuming they aren’t back, this is a good thing, and I’ll give that point of credit where it’s due. However, it is worth noting that while Rita remains banned, this still looks like transphobia and deplatforming and threatening a trans woman(actually threatening her. With, y’know, the fbi). If I wanted to be extremely uncharitable, I could point out that banning terfs and trans women doesn’t make a space safe for trans women, and in fact makes it look like you’re only banning the terfs so you can say “well we don’t allow terfs so we can’t be transphobic!”
Conclusión: Im really disappointed with staff and with tumblr’s ceo in particular. It’s not hard to see why a lot of popular trans blogs are considering moving off platform and tons more are expressing general frustration. In particular, what has happened to predstrogen demonstrates a terrifying cycle that scares me and makes me worried for my own safety if I ever attract a large following on here. She has been targeted by terfs, apparently for years, in an open harassment campaign and has been threatened multiple times. She has referenced having stalkers. She is repeatedly suspended for community violations that are later referred to as “bugs”, but then suddenly one day she’s banned permanently for a post that doesn’t violate tos at all, and when she makes another account to call attention to this wrongful ban, she is banned again and threats about bringing in law enforcement are made by the ceo of the website. A woman that is the subject of years of harassment and credible threats to her safety is being gaslit about being the perpetrator of those very same things, and nothing is being brought to light to verify those claims.

What do you think BTS will do next as soloists? Which member has been the most impressive in Chapter 2?
Hi hey hello :) I’ve been MIA for months but I’m surprised to see I’ve still been getting lots of asks. Did you miss me? Did ya did ya did ya? Going by the number of messages in my inbox I’d say, yes :) Sorry for ghosting you guys; I simply got bored with BTS and stopped keeping up with the group as whole. Meanwhile, their solo era has been fun to observe, huh? Some things I expected, other things I did not. I’m sure you’ve all missed supop thoughts. So, without further adieu, here are my guesses for 2023-2024, in no particular order:
Truthfully, I’ve been trying to post for the past 3 days but tumblr is glitching, and none of my posts are saving. Just as I was about to say F it.... if you can read this, then the issue must be fixed, right? This post hasn’t been proofread, so ignore any grammatical errors and the weird use of punctuation. I have a flight to catch soon, so I’ll answer more asks when I land, and as always.... keep it cute~
Individual YouTube channels (starting off with this because there’s been rumors about it for months now; I doubt all members will have one, but I feel like j-hope or Jungkook may go this route. I actually started to believe it when j-hope posted about his new Leica camera a while back. I know he’s into photography, but there’s always a deeper meaning behind everything he does/posts and he’s been carrying that camera around to all the events he’s been attending; maybe it’s just me overthinking, but it’s giving vlog material at the very least. Each member has a YouTube topic channel, but this will likely be a platform for more direct professional/business use where other creatives are featured or personal use for vlogging, trips, unedited material etc. without constant company oversight; aka without every single piece of content being scheduled by bighit/hybe and distributed via weverse; I also wonder if any more of them will get solo shows like Suchwita on the BangtanTV channel)
Individual Twitter accounts (this one seems farfetched, but so were their instagrams at one point; if they do indeed go this route I can eventually see some members leaving it up to the company to handle their respective social medias while others take a more hands-on approach with their fans—since instagram alone already seems like a struggle for some; they can also repost content from instagram which would also give them more individual exposure since the two social media platforms tend to have completely different audiences; it would also be nice for collaborators/brands/media to be able to tag them directly instead of @ the group account; finally, there’s a reason why each member has stuck to uploading all personal content on their respective instagrams since Dec 2021, so expect the group Twitter to become even more desolate than it already is if this does happen)
Individual TikTok accounts (Instagram, YouTube and Twitter....then why not TikTok too? It would make more sense when it comes to promoting their solo music and once again connecting with their respective audiences/fanbases; it only makes sense for solo artists to promote their solo work on solo accounts especially when their music and personalities are all so different; that’s 7 different audiences that should be catered to instead of trying to fit everyone into one big purple-colored box. All 7 members together represent BTS, but no single member is a representation of BTS; there’s a reason why JITB is completely different from anything BTS has released as group, and it’s the same reason why Indigo is so different from JITB; someone who likes JITB may not care for 90% of BTS’s discography and the same would apply to other members’ solo albums that have yet to be released; this is the obvious truth, but armys will continue to delude themselves as if the term bias doesn’t exist.)
Individual Facebook pages (and lastly, Facebook because all artists need a Facebook page to be able to link their music to their personal Instagram accounts; the BTS official Instagram account has it but when you scroll through you only see JK and RM’s music, which to me isn’t fair to other members who have music under their official Spotify profiles; the members are artists first, right? not influencers, therefore, artistry should be respected in a similar manner)
Opening their comment section on Instagram (limited comments are boring, but i don’t blame them; I’d sure they’re well aware that a select group of their “fans” are unhinged; just look at the way those same “fans” have attacked people who they’ve deemed to be “wrongly” associated with them or people they’ve “accidentally” followed; honestly I’m also worried about the occasional wave of hate/d.threats some members would receive in their comment sections from deranged akgaes; I will never understand not liking someone, yet going out of your way to invade their public accounts or content posted related to them just to spew hateful nonsense or send d.threats about how much you don’t like them; take a breather because it’s never ever that deep. And if you ever feel the need to take it that far towards anyone (celebrity figure or not), then may your pathetic existence quickly reach its expiration date; people also seem to have a lot more balls on instagram, so it’s a good thing Instagram’s safety features are a lot better than Twitter’s—i.e., the report and block buttons def work)
Following more people on Instagram (lol honestly following 0 people isn’t anything new from the celebrity pov and we can all thank Bey for establishing that, but following only your 7 group members is just...meh; are they gonna live as 7 for the rest of their lives? No, but they probably have to keep it this way otherwise there’s a possibility that every single non-bts related account on their following list would be harassed and stalked to oblivion by deranged fans; not to mention as it is, BH/Hybe staff already do such a great job at leaking private info related to BTS, you would think their proximity to such high-profile celebrities would result in ironclad NDAs but I guess not...sigh when will we be free)
Individual brand deals/endorsements (this one is already under way and was really really obvious from the start because we all know “7 or nothing”—not necessarily their bond but the way they’ve been marketed to fans—has always been nothing more than a sales gimmick; seriously not every member will have the skillset that a specific brand is looking for, so let’s let the ones who shine, shine; instead of trying to sell the lackluster ones as a package deal; “buy one get one free” should never apply to people; for the members yet to be announced there’s been rumors of various brands so let’s just wait and see...hopefully no controversial brands are chosen.
Individual fashion global ambassadorships (similar to the above, except I think only the members interested in fashion should get involved in this, but then again, this is the k-entertainment industry we’re talking about, and as of late ambassadorships have become part of the whole “album promo” package deal; either way I’m sure the money is good for BTS, and at the end of the day it’s a win-win; interest or not, the artist gets paid and the brand gets “exposure”) **side note: ambassadorships are cool, but the real deal would be with whichever brand pursues a true partnership with the artist by creating a collaborative fashion line or collection that expresses their artistic vision through fashion and/or even a performance that speaks to the brand’s image. pretty red carpet and campaign pictures are nice, but what the world needs is a tangible piece that can be held or tangible memory that can be seen. I think that’s what truly separates the artist-turned-fashion icon/creative director/business mogul from the rest.
More fashion week appearances (so far we’ve gotten Louis Vuitton, Dior, Hermès. I’m glad j-hope didn’t/hasn’t yet? signed with LV otherwise we never would’ve gotten 3 completely different, yet ultimately iconic looks from him in the span of just 3 days; Jimin for Dior; Suga for Valentino; other members may also attend shows for the brands they will be announced as Global/House Ambassadors) **another side note: Hobi wore clothes from LV’s unreleased collection which is rare feat in itself and he was also invited behind the scenes, shown the collection prior to the show, and he entered and exited the venue via a private entrance that was reserved for VIPs. I also saw a photo of Hobi with the Arnaults. Do you know how difficult it is to meet them? You can’t just meet them lol, they’d first have to want to meet you. And Hoseok did that with not 1, but 3 (maybe 4 because 2 of the brothers attended the Dior show) members of the family, including the LVMH CEO himself. It’s not even enough to be a high-profile celebrity; You usually have to have a long-standing working relationship with them or with one of their brands which means their connection with Hoseok must run pretty deep, and they have plenty of trust in him as a global representative. The same thing applies to Hermès. They do no care how rich or famous you are. Before you’re even able to purchase one of their bags directly, you’d have to be a longtime/VIP shopper. Even then getting a bag isn’t guaranteed. You’ll forever be on a waitlist, it could even take years, until you’re invited to purchase one. You also can’t pick and choose which model or color of bag you want lol. Everyone knows about the Birkin, but most are lucky to even be offered a Kelly for purchase. And not only did Hoseok meet with their executives, they also gifted him a Haut à courroies 50 bag (the one in his airport photos upon arrival from Paris) which is one of their largest bags, and is more difficult to secure than a regular Birkin. In short, he got the full VVIP treatment from both rival brands. Who else can relate? With that said, more than an ambassadorship, there could be a j-hope fashion line or a collection of some sort in the works; or perhaps he was doing field research to decide which brand will be in charge of designing his world tour outfits....who knows, only time will tell; as for fashion week there’s still New York, London, Milan, more in Paris, and even Seoul; appearances and shows will depend on the brand)
More solo magazine covers (this also isn’t anything new but even Hybe’s nugu groups with zero impact and lots of payola are already getting solo covers in top magazines, attending fashion week, and having brand ambassadorships under their belts, so it’s ridiculous it took BigHit/Hybe almost a decade to allow bts members the same opportunity)
Vogue, GQ, Hot Ones? video interviews (as much as I love a good magazine interview, there’s nothing better than being able to observe body language; I was surprised when we got GQ’s ‘10 things Jin’, but it only proves that more spontaneous less unscripted interviews where the gp can easily tune in are no longer beyond the realm of possibilities; which means I’m expecting Vogue to come through with any of the following: Life in Looks, 24 Hours with, 73 Questions, Get Ready with, Beauty Routine, etc; more 10 things with GQ; and Hot Ones would be great)
More solo interviews (see tv appearances)
More solo TV appearances w/Korean media (I know that new Mnet program is currently in the works; and I’m kind of hoping for more popular variety shows and broadcasts; anything that would promote their music domestically vs. the fan-targeted content posted on BangtanTV)
More solo TV appearances w/Western media (it’s no secret that Korean media can be restrictive when it comes to artistic expression, so similar appearances at tv programs like late night shows for an interview and performance would be great; just like they’ve done for many years as a group, so it’s ridiculous how they’re not getting a similar promotional rollout for their solo careers)
More solo red carpet appearances (this one technically isn’t a stand alone event, but you can include any activities here that aren’t necessarily centered around them or any of the other ones I’ve listed; like them getting invited to a movie premiere of a friend of a friend’s)
More solo performances (probably minor ones because I really don’t think any of them will put on a performance as major or as lengthy as the scale of Hobipalooza’s headliner setlist and preparation; unless of course its j-hope himself; as for festival performances, there’s of course Lollapalooza, but we also have Coachella, Rolling Loud, Something in the Water, Wireless Festival, Splash Festival, Made in America, The Governors Ball; most of these festivals have a primarily hip-hop/rap-centric audience, so don’t expect vocal line to make any appearances. I can’t speak for Yoongi or Namjoon, but I doubt Hoseok will be interested in doing anything less than a headlining stage. Otherwise expect performances at the usual Western music award shows, year-end Asian music award shows, and South Korea’s music bank/inkigayo)
Solo world tour announcement (we can dream right?)
More solo music collaborations (there’s been many rumors on this one so let’s way and see; hopefully collabs involving actual good music and more collabs with artists that don’t cater to the demographic of bubblegum pop music lovers; seriously enough is enough with the abysmal lyrics and the lack of good production on some of these collabs)
More solo albums (duh! and emphasis on the solo part; as much as I love a good feature or collab, there’s no good reason for those featured artists to be eating you up on your own song, much less album; features should add to the album, not make the album itself—especially when you’re a musician who aims to establish an individual identity and move away from the idea that you’re nothing without bts/without other people propping you up; next: jimin -> suga -> jungkook -> v ; in that order of album release is my guess)
More solo singles/EPs (the 94s; Namjoon has been hinting a lot at releasing new music, so likely an EP; I think Hoseok will also release another album before he enlists, if not an EP; I think they both have more options than other members since they’ve already officially debuted as soloists)
Subunit singles/EPs (once all of vocal line have released their solo albums, i can see BH trying to push for subunits; don’t expect full on albums with only 2 or 3 members on it, but I can definitely see a single or two or more happening; again likely with vocal line)
More OSTs (original soundtracks; again with vocal line)
More individual enlistments (they all technically have until early/mid 2024 to enlist if the tentative 2025 BTS reunion is supposed to happen, but once you taste the high life of individual freedom can you ever really go back to the mundane days of group work? Yoongi has until the end of 2023, Hoseok and Namjoon both have until the end of 2024, Jimin and Taehyung 2025, Jungkook 2027; I’m curious to see—to the absolute horror of armys—if anyone, especially maknae line, will put off their enlistment past 2024....I think Hybe was foolish to announce a “comeback” date; only doing so to calm investors and give themselves an additional 2 years to “ease their dependency on BTS” by bridging the profit gap between them and all their other groups; well if all else fails, i guess they’ll have the company stans to rely on)
or Paired enlistments (again? I really doubt a 2025 reunion will happen simply because a lot of things aren’t adding up at the moment, but if they enlist in pairs it may be a sure sign otherwise. It still makes me laugh how this time last year armys were so sure they’d be getting a bts world tour announcement only for it to be a hiatus + enlistment announcement instead. The signs of exhaustion from the members and lack of effort with the group in all aspects were way too obvious. I will never understand why fans keep deluding themselves. Seriously what group at the peak of success releases an anthology as an album? With only 3 new songs? And the purple warriors ate it right up. They could’ve at least put the demos on streaming platforms. Don’t even get me started on the 3 english songs that took over a year of “convincing” before the members agreed. Lmao my point is bts have never 100% been open about their plans, yet we all know they plan and settle things months in advance. Which means enlistment had likely already been decided on prior to the second leg of the ptd concerts. And yet, they showed no signs of it and acted like everything was swell. Even RM said the 2025 date was tentative; there’s also the Expo 2035 to consider, but after all those infrastructure problems, I’m pretty sure Busan won’t win the bid. People should accept that if the members want to keep doing their thing solo after 2025, then that’s okay. If they come back as a group, then that’s okay too. These days most of them seem happier and lighter being able to do their own thing without being tied down to the rigorous schedules that come with being “7”. So, why pressure them to do anything more as a group just to fulfill the selfish desires and needs of fans?)
Dating news ??? (this isn’t a big deal either and it’s none of our business but all it really takes is one member to open the floodgates of deranged hyperventilated tears; although it’d probably be in their best interests to continue to keep their personal lives private for that very obvious reason)
Grammys attendance (BTS has several nominations, but I doubt all 6 members will attend; j-hope’s Equal Sign was submitted for “Best Song for Social Change”; there’s been hints of a Pharrell collab involving RM; I doubt the Recording Academy will want to miss out on that BTS viewership clout so I expect at least one or two members to attend and maybe we’ll even get a performance from them)
Met Gala attendance !!!!!! (first comes FW....then comes....seriously, j-hope is just wow and this has to be said. I’ve seen the photos/videos from PFW and modeling/posing aside, not only does his entire aura change, but even his etiquette and mannerisms change depending on where he’s at and what he has on. It’s like the outfit and environment molds itself to him. It’s almost as if cameras were created for the sole purpose of capturing his presence. You know how Koreans have this thing of calling someone “Human [insert brand name here]” j-hope is like that but with every brand. As a longtime lover of fashion, it’s rare to see someone be able to digest every style so well. I can actually count on one hand the number of celebrities who are able to pull it off. He fits perfectly in everywhere he goes, and it’s no wonder why every show gave him the best seat in the house next to all their executives and other notable figures in the fashion industry. It’s amazing, not only do brands love him but so did all the photographers/journalists. He gives you something to write about just by simply existing. So it wouldn’t be a stretch to expect the star of this year’s Paris Fashion Week to finally make his Met Gala debut this May, right? Imagine j-hope attends, goes all out and does one of those behind the scenes ‘get ready with me’ videos with Vogue. Do you see the vision? He’s the only member who has a genuine passion for fashion, does his research, looks good in everything he wears, and isn’t just content with wearing whatever a stylist hands him. He’s also the only member who I’ve seen several designers go out of their way to praise. This year’s Met theme is super flexible too and I’m sure there’s lots of brands that would absolutely love to see j-hope ‘The MVP of Fashion Week’ dressed in their designs)
Hope On The Street Comeback (putting this out there just because there’s rumors that people saw him filming something dance related in Paris; what could it be? maybe for his YouTube channel? a MV? maybe LV ad campaigns or commercials of him dancing? one of the models danced at their recent show so i’m sure they’re open to incorporating more of that type of creative expression in their marketing; either way, if the rumors are true, then naturally we’ll find out soon enough because it’s j-hope)
Drama/Movie roles (lead, second lead, or guest appearances; I don’t think any of them will go this route until they’ve at least released a solo album because if they’re actually serious about their solo music careers, it’s much easier to take an established artist-turned-actor seriously, than it is to take an amateur actor-turned-artist seriously—especially in these fragile times of solo uncertainty for many)
Contract renewal announcement (their contracts expire in 2024?, but I don’t think all of them will renew with BigHit/Hybe; I doubt there’ll be any news on this until later this year at the earliest...although there may be leaks and speculation here and there; since solo activities are in full force—besides re-releasing BTS’s entire catalog as vinyls and repackaged special editions—I’m curious to know what other ways hybe plans to milk them during their hiatus in order to keep pumping that BTS money into their new groups and push a BTS successor. Gotta keep those investors happy, right? Hybe has always had a lot of internal issues with their staff and the way things are handled. Hybe has also spent the last two years promoting their plans to “reduce dependency on BTS”, and have been investing in any and every venture, to the point that their slogan “we believe in money” should be changed to “we believe in profit”. If you notice any positive deviations in the company’s usual behavior regarding how the members are being managed, then they’re likely trying to butter them up behind the scenes to get them to renew. I’m also curious about the current status of their contracts, and if any new conditions were added regarding their solo work; I feel like some may have already renewed but, again, I could be wrong; half the members have already sold a portion of their 1.2% in collective hybe shares; all it really takes is for one member to leave the company and I’m pretty sure at least half would follow suit; there’s power in solidarity)
That’s all that comes to mind for now. As for your second question (which member has been the most impressive in chapter 2) if it wasn’t already obvious, the answer is: j-hope. It’s only been 6 months, and between his solo debut, critically-acclaimed album, multiple iconic performances, being the star of Paris Fashion Week, documentary on the way. Who else is doing it like him? He’s been booked and busy since the group’s hiatus was announced, accomplishing all that in just 6 months. He set the bar high for himself and continues to raise it. 2022 was the year of HOPE and there’s no signs of him slowing down in 2023. He deserves all the recognition he’s getting because not only is he the most impressive, he’s also produced the most impressive results overall. Let’s put bias aside and face the facts because anyone who says otherwise is a l-i-a-r.
I’m sure the haters are gonna say “he only accomplished all those things because he was the first one to release his album”. Well, any of the other 6 could’ve released theirs first, yet here we are 6 months later where some of them still have nothing close to a finished album and are busy idling their time away. Any reason they give for not being in the studio working is an excuse. Not to mention j-hope was working on his solo debut and preparing solo performances while BTS was still active as a group, meanwhile others were what? Taking vacations? Partying? Playing video games? Not that there’s anything wrong with doing any of that. If you want to rest, then by all means rest, but don’t expect to be on the same level or have the same results as someone who consistently works hard like j-hope. Even with the group being inactive it was only j-hope showing up to every award show in the name of BTS (Jin enlisted, but what were the other 5 busy doing)? Failing to prepare is preparing to fail.
“Effort plays an important role in trying to stay where I am now. I will always try my best because efforts will never betray me.” — j-hope, 2018; “Efforts never betray you....All my efforts have never betrayed me....Looking back, the efforts I made didn’t betray me, in the end.” — j-hope, 2023
And “j-hope always has a plan”, so it’s only natural for him to never miss out on a golden opportunity to show the world who he is and what he’s capable of doing. It’s one thing to be talented, it’s another thing to have excellent work ethic, strong social skills, the confidence and charisma to pull off anything. Not to mention he’s always super genuine, humble and polite with everyone he meets—and we can’t forget that heart-shaped smile. These attributes go a long way and are invaluable especially when you work in industries as cutthroat as music or fashion where first impressions are always a make or break. That sort of discipline and awareness isn’t built overnight. I’ve seen some videos of j-hope’s PFW interactions (with executives, photographers, and just recently, his bodyguards) and it always makes me go: “wow I want to meet him, I want to talk to him, he seems like a really nice guy, he’s a natural model, he’s super good-looking, I can’t help but smile too”. So, imagine how all those people on the receiving end of his affections feel? Exactly. Hence why j-hope will continue to be invited into those exclusive spaces. His body language is always warm and inviting, he’s good at connecting with people from all walks of life. Even something as simple as a smile or wave is enough to make someone’s day and j-hope gets that. The more time passes, the more obvious it becomes that he’s the main reason BTS even lasted this long as a group. Other members don’t call him “갓이홉” (god j-hope) for nothing. **final side note: even the way j-hope reposted all those photos from local photographers on his IG story is so ¡wow! Lots of celebrities wouldn’t even bother. Not only is he giving them more exposure in such a competitive industry, he’s also letting them know how much he appreciates their work. And some of these photographers often run around FW for free in order to build up their portfolios. Now, you never know who could’ve watched his story, saw those photos he reposted, and offered them a job. It’s little things like that, that go a long way, because guess what? The next time he comes back to Paris the same photographers will be happy and ready to capture him on their cameras. In fact, notice how some of them posted even more photos of him after that repost? Exactly. j-hope should really teach a masterclass on networking and building connections; the first thing on the agenda? Making the best first impressions. The second thing? The subtle art of personal branding. Don’t try to give Bighit/Hybe any credit either because as we’ve seen from some lackluster solo activities and the incredibly botched debut solo album rollouts (especially j-hope’s and especially when compared to the debut of other groups under the same company), thus far, BH/H does not give enough fvcks about BTS as soloists to invest money into them individually. the same way they’re currently doing for their other groups; they might care for some members more than others so a sponsored opportunity or two may come in the realm of that possibility, but they definitely value “OT7” above all because that’s where they believe the money lies. Ultimately, how each member’s solo career will turn out relies heavily on their ambition, respective goals, personal initiative, the drive to want more and to be more in their own right. They may be at the top as a group, but as soloists they’re just getting started.
I wrote this post about a year ago, and it seems that Hoseok has finally given us an answer. He’s clearly in it for the long haul and plans to have a very long and very flourishing career in both music and fashion; chess, not checkers~

People are saying Louis has a grace period where he can’t do/say anything - meaning contracts I guess - but he is saying something. He’s saying he’s not with Harry. Surely if he was under any kind of NDA he wouldn’t be able to comment at all??
I’m not an anti. I would love the boys to be together. I’m just suspicious of Louis’ random out bursts where he does seem p*ssed off at Larry. I mean if he really loves him, wouldn’t he just say nothing? If I were Harry, I think i’d be a bit insulted if my boyfriend continued to make public denials (and referred to it as childish conspiracies) whilst I kept quiet.
Also, is Louis annoyed at Larry in terms of being linked to Harry OR is it more related to the insinuation that Freddie isn’t his and he’s not really denying ever being with Harry?
I know this is a contentious topic but I wanted to ask. No judgement either way from me!
Heya anon! I’m gonna break this down a bit.
Louis’ online presence has been very yikes since the first Bullshit tweet. You could see the moment his Twitter started being controlled in one direction, with how different his content became, interacting with the boys (Harry) slowed right down, and his typing style and tone changed. Social media accounts, particular for influential people with a large following, are ran by PR folks on their team. It means the artist can have a more hands off approach, and doesn’t have to worry about posting marketing content at certain deadlines etc., and it’s the easiest reach to get news spread fast. Now, in terms of how much control an artist has over their accounts, differs depending on their contract with their team.
One Direction were the biggest of the big. And when you have 5 teenage boys with huge accounts, it’s pretty safe to say they didn’t want one of them accidentally posting something incriminating towards themselves, the band, or their team, so, they would’ve had very little freedom on their social media when they hit the big point of their career a bit down the track. However, control is not entirely taken over, as the artist still needs to look authentic. They need to connect with fans, get them engaged, and tweet them back. Then, they get trending on Twitter and that’s a win for them, obviously.
So this kind of social media handover is specified in their initial contract, with subcontracts specifying exactly what and how the PR team and the artist will use it. The artist might need to personally post at least 3 times a week across platforms, for example: one tweet replying to a fan, one promo tweet for their music, and one Instagram post/story that ties into whatever the narrative/promo is at that moment, and the contract might be more lax during the months where there isn’t anything to be marketed. Other than that, the team will take care of everything else. That’s their job after all, to market the artist!
So, what’s the best way to dispel rumours about a conspiracy theory when the people in question struggle to talk about the theory on camera? A tweet, of course! It goes straight out to the fans, spreads like wildfire, gets their name trending, and screenshots go straight to the media. The artist doesn’t wanna deal with the inevitable backlash and chaos that ensues after a tweet like that, so, the PR folks say “let’s try and get them to stop talking about larry, by talking about larry…” which makes 0 sense right? If larry isn’t real, they could just leave it alone. Hell, larry aren’t the only pairing in the world, and plenty of other people who have had theories about them like this have just… never commented. Even when they had a big fanbase of people like larries, who believe that they are in a stunt relationship/have been hiding a relationship with another famous person, they’ve just left it alone.
If you have a watch of the Four Hangout interview, where they are all asked if there are any rumours they’d like to deny, Louis and Harry are dead silent. That was the time to do it.
So I think maybe your question leaves out the contracts and closeting of larry, as you’ve said Harry would be pissed that his man has kept denying their relationship to the public (it has been far and few between, though). I would be too, but he’s not doing it on his own accord. the boys, and many other artists in the industry, have been victims of closeting/het pushes. Even just basic PR stunt relationships, that straight people have, are for marketing purposes. There are narratives in place so these artists keep their name in the media, keep looking attainable to a fanbase with young woman fawning over them, and keep selling records/movies whatever it might be. I won’t go deep into Louis and Harry’s stunt relationships and narratives, but it’s very obvious they’ve been victim to them.
So, two birds one stone, right? Deny a relationship that your fanbase has a theory on, on Twitter so there’s proof and it reaches those fanbases fast, while encouraging the stunt narrative the public sees of you, ticking the boxes above. It’s a quick Band-Aid for now, because the longer they don’t say anything, the easier it is for people to assume they’re together. So a little tweet here and there helps. And, unfortunately, Louis has always been the one in the firing line of denials.
Even in the early days of Larry, back in 1d, I think Harry only did one denial on his own, with niall and Liam. H+L did a couple together, and then @Louis_Tomlinson took the reins. Every larry denial on camera was hilarious, poorly responded to, and was laughed at by the fandom. It didn’t jolt us whatsoever, but when you can’t see the person behind the tweet, it is meant to cause a bit more doubt for us. Did he post this on his own accord? Was it PR? It’s not as easy as looking at their body language and seeing them stutter in a video, and that was the point of moving the denials off camera.
These “ask me anything” tweeting sprees that happen, are for the sole purpose of pushing narratives. Louis ticks off a couple of things on his list each time he does one, which are: talk about F, get rid of larry rumours by talking about larry rumours (it’s an absolute joke, the way they do that hahaha), and promo some new music. He also replies to fans about football and other stuff, but that’s because he always has to keep it as authentic as possible. And he does like talking to us, he just has a couple of obligations during this.
In terms of F and bbg, I believe that’s a stunt so I don’t think Louis is mad about people not believing it, so I can’t comment on that, unfortunately!
Now, NDAs. This term is thrown around A LOT in this fandom, and the actual way one works can get lost in translation through misinformation and overuse of contractual language that confuses folks who don’t have a deeper knowledge of entertainment law and the entertainment industry. NDAs are not a one page contract that states a couple of things that you can’t do, and you just scribble a signature. They are big documents that are overlooked by several lawyers and adjusted/assessed/edited over a long period of time, depending on the importance of why someone needs to sign one. There are already basic drafts for fans/crew who see something they shouldn’t see etc., but they are edited to be specific as possible to that situation, so there are no blurred lines. There are no mistakes. No loopholes. Everyone around the boys has signed one, which I’ve discussed a little bit about before.
When it comes to keeping a relationship under wraps from the public, both parties need to sign a separate copy, often times of the exact same document. But, NDAs are different to other PR and marketing contractual Agreements. NDAs say “hey, don’t talk about this thing or any other of these things! It can’t be leaked! If you do, there will be huge consequences and you’ve broken the contract and we will take all your money and sue you and you’ll never have a career again!”, while marketing and PR Agreements are “hey, so people are talking about you being in a secret relationship, and you’ve signed an NDA so you can’t say you are in one, so we’re gonna give you a fake relationship to help keep things quieter and hopefully dispel the beliefs (which will make it easier for you to not say anything if people leave the topic alone!!) and we can get some good marketing in and grow the band yada yada yada”. Which, they thought would work, but we’re still here haha. So the two can be mutually exclusive for artists like Harry and Louis, but their team will obviously just sign an NDA.
So, my advice is, don’t take everything at face value. Louis wouldn’t want to lose any fans, regardless of what they believe in. And same with Harry. They just have different narratives to appeal to different demographics.

hi if this isn’t something you prefer answering you can ignore my ask!
so i wanted to know how much stripe reveals your info to people who pay you? through ko fi and all that. what i mean is when someone gives the creator money through ko fi using paypal their name (legal name) is revealed on invoice so does that happen with stripe as well?
i’ve heard with stripe, creators can hide their legal name and use another which shows up on invoices but im unsure if it’s true
hi! I actually had this same concern and did a lot of poking around for how different platforms handle this while setting up my commissions so I will attempt to answer! disclaimer I am just a guy who is bad with technology so there is a chance I am wrong about things ok here’s a readmore attempt click to get Snek’s business knowledge
this is actually the main reason I rly like stripe, you can customize pretty much everything clients will see including how much information about yourself you want to give away- I literally only have 3amsnek as my name in there, it’s just my business name (the Public Details section of settings lets you mess with this as much as you like, it’s under the Business Settings category)
it gives my country & state on some invoices but no further details (I can’t remember if state is mandatory or I clicked on the wrong button somewhere setting it up but I can’t disable it so keep that in mind) (I can change it along with everything else in my info though)
you do need to give Stripe all of your information for legal and payment purposes which can be kinda intimidating to set up but within my account I can customize what name will show up everywhere it shows up, put a different email than the one I signed up with as a customer support email to go at the bottom of receipts, decide specifically how much of my location is shown- idk if this is super clear bc I’m not at all experienced in Business Advice but by my memory/experience it doesn’t even ask for a Firstname Lastname name anywhere that’ll be shown to customers
for the record I’ve never actually used paypal bc my account got nuked within a day of making it and they have simply refused to fix it so I don’t have a direct comparison from personal experience but from my various hours of research trying to put comms together it seemed like paypal will always give everyone involved in the transaction a stupid amount of information about each other and there rly isn’t much to do about it/things can’t be changed ever or at least without huge difficulty and my experience with Stripe has been not that at All,,, it’s been very nice tbh I even found a whole invoices feature that allows international bank transfers as a payment method making a workaround for people who only have paypal & no card
if this is still confusing you can dm me and I’ll send you a picture of my checkout page/invoice/email receipt templates, it rly only shows my profile picture for stripe which I selected and can change (for me it’s the same dragon I use for my ko-fi header) and my business name in big letters at the top to say who you’re paying and then it’s the checkout/payment setup for the client (looks like any other online shopping checkout thing rly) - I haven’t been able to Confirm confirm that this all shows up properly on receipts as I don’t rly have a way to run a test with it with actual payment but it shows you what all the graphics are set to show up as in your account (under Branding in settings, same Business Settings box as Public Details is in) and you can change all of it any time (I do think you can also send blank test receipts to yourself)
hopefully this helps clarify things? at this point of using it for a couple months I would say I’d recommend Stripe- I’ve been rly pleased with it so far, especially with this specific topic :]

Rambling in INFJese - Part 5: Low-Key…
Am I Wrong - by BTS  [Wings]
[Music is a very big part of my life and I’m MOSTLY INCAPABLE of writing without music, so I just thought I'd share what I am listening to while writing this]
🐺 — 🐺 — 🐺—
If you are reading this, JK’s birthday has ended (KST) and JM posted nothing on SM ...
Tumblr media
So, let me tell you something.
Low-key … but really high-key … I was hoping Jimin would post NOTHING for JK’s birthday and before I tell you why I hoped for this to happen, let me tell you what’s gonna happen now that he didn’t:
- Most TKKers will rise into every jkker blog/account/Twitter … name it … it will be a mighty festival and they’ll do what they do best.
- Insecure jikookers will be insecure
- Clueless Jikookers are gonna be clueless. They are the ones that for the most part avoid and somehow refuse to do the bare minimum research on the topic they vow to be “supporting” and most likely end up following the insecure ones (not all of them but... yeah). Now this is sort of a new entry! as we don’t often talk about them but they are real and they are there!
There may be other scenarios of other people doing other things, but for the purpose of this post, they are more or less irrelevant. One of the things that may seem irrelevant to this post, but isn’t, is that I used to think that I was a masochist BUT deep down, I know (I’ve always known) that given certain situations, I am a certified sadist, and not in the dictionary sexual sense of the word: SO TRY ME 😊.
Tumblr media
I already know that there are specific accounts that are going to be harassed right about now, accounts that I feel very attached to, and will become very defensive off; NO CAP. Hence, I’m going to offer myself as a tribute, because, even though I may not speak troll fluently, I understand it very well, so LET’S TALK. “But that is masochist behaviour” you might say … Believe me, by the end of it, it will not be 😊.
Now, as for the sole and only reason why I wanted JM to not reply: CLEANSING IS NEEDED. People reeeeeeally need to be reminded of their place.
One of my first posts on this platform was about my views on shipping, which I’d really like for you to read if you were so inclined, just so you understand where all of this is coming from and going to: Shipping & all Its Shades
I’ve also touched on Jikook perfecting the Art of Silence, right? (You can read it here if you didn’t: Rambling in INFJese - Part 4: The Loud Art of Silence ).
Now, if you’ve stuck with the post thus far, keep following me for a second. I’m pretty and smart, and I will not bite (if I DON’T have to)
Tumblr media
Homeboi (JM) popped up out of nowhere reminding a very well aware fandom that Goldenboi’s (JK) birthday was at the doors. Really? Like really? Not only has the fandom been preparing for at least a month, but they were already ready to remind the members about it. IT’S THAT DEEP WITH ARMY.
But Homeboi, working on his solo stuff, late at night, at some point fell asleep and at STUPID-AM KST. Realised that probably he wasn’t going to have time to properly celebrate like he would like to and decided that “you know what, let me remind people that JK’s birthday is coming up, just in case they forgot”. WHO? WHO FORGOT? WHO ARE YOU TALKING TO? WHO FORGOT GOLDEN MAKNAE’S BIRTHDAY? … coz I really want to know. Besides Zendaya’s birthday (for me), this is the one event people have been AWAITING.
Also, I need for people to not act dumb, the members ALL know what happens on SM. It’s been 9 years of them knowing what their fans do for their birthdays. So they know what we do. They know what we capable of. THEY KNOW.
Yet, in the middle of the night he woke up to basically talk about JK.
And yet again, must we remember that:
They don’t owe anybody anything.
They don’t need to tell anybody anything.
They do what they do and should always do what they want and/or NEED to do.
Ayte?
In the end, it doesn’t matter want JM did for JK if he doesn’t wanna share. Is not like Homeboi hasn’t been thinking about Goldenboi a couple of hours before his birthday. And If Homeboi does happen to want to share then, hey Imma listen, we all here respectfully speculating and educatedly guessing anyways right? .
Tumblr media
Other than that. As always it is what it is.
Tumblr media
Unbothered and ready to fight,
Marengo.

This is gonna be a serious post that I will continue on with more in additional sections. I worry it will be too long otherwise.
For those of you who have remained neutral or silent about the recent/current genocides in Armenia, the Congo, Sudan and Palestine (especially fellow ghost people living in countries like the US, France, and Germany like me).
I urge you to speak up. The powers that be are betting on our neutrality and an inability to think for ourselves, on us not holding them accountable.
If you have yet to even look into what is going on in Israel and Palestine in particular. Start today and start by watching the videos from Bisan, Motaz, Plestia and other primary sources. For those of us in the US, this is a holiday weekend so I know you’ve got time off work to do this.
For less censured accounts of the history between Israel and Palestine, I’d highly recommend looking at books and peer reviewed articles from before this year. Internet Archive (an online free library) has some of these. Your local library also probably has some of these. If your local library doesn’t have them, then you can likely get them as an interlibrary loan.
Now that you’ve done the above and know the background and what some of the current environment is like. Look at posts from the Israeli government, what your own government is sharing (is it even acknowledging the genocide?), and other mainstream media outlets. How much of it is propaganda? How much can you disprove with just one ounce of empathy and video evidence?
This next bit is for people who have done at least some of the research already and do want to free Palestine. However, at this point, you have given up because you don’t think any of your previous work has made an impact. If your previous work in support of Palestine has ONLY been to post one story with a 🍉 before continuing on with the rest of your life, it has not made an impact after that twenty four hours was up. The same is likely true for any other one off actions such as singular calls or emails. I recently emailed the people who supposedly represent me in Congress to request a ceasefire. I received two emails in response that discussed how these congressmen proudly stood with Israel, and always will. My request and any others’ requests for a cease-fire were clearly not read or else maybe these congressmen would have read the room a little bit. This does mean that I now know I will not be making any progress in that area. However, it does not mean that I should completely ignore Palestinians cries for help and for life after I have done this one thing. It was challenging for me to remember to fill out the form for the emails. Do you know what else is challenging? Surviving near-constant bombings, starvation, dehydration, and exile from your home.
So, now that you’ve done the social media and networking actions, what next? First, keep posting, interacting with posts, and reposting. Some social media platforms are censoring information about Palestine. This helps the people who need to get the word out continue to do so.
I’m gonna be honest. Some politicians are a dead end. That doesn’t mean you should stop calling the ones with more culpability or that you’re likely to be able to sway. Side note: I personally think we should continue reaching out to the dead ends because annoying them is something to strive for. Continue to call the presidential comment line, speak to congressional staffers, etc. Also, in a similar vein, politicians are not the only ones to be writing and calling. Some corporations have culpability in this as well. I’m currently dealing with the situation with my landlord, that involves me asking every single day to remove a late fee that shouldn’t be on my account. Stuff like this is one of the most frustrating aspects of adulting. Eventually, though, my polite antagonizing will be enough to get it removed. This is kind of like that. Anti-Karens, (white women who know how to Karen well but only Karen for human rights) I believe that this could be your calling.
For people who are able, participating in protests is sometimes an action where you have the chance to make a tangible difference.
For those of us who aren’t able whether that’s because of distance, financial reasons, disability, or anything else. Everyday actions are going to be your next step.
- Talk to your friends and family. Make sure that they’re aware of what’s happening. Let them know that this is something that’s important to you.
- Wear the colors of the Palestinian flag to work or school. If you have one, wear a kuffiyeh. I just made a watermelon rainbow loom bracelet. Do what you can to show the Palestinians around you that you are a safe space.
- Support Palestinian people. Even if you don’t have the finances to directly donate to nonprofits, buy esims, or whatever, listen to music made by Palestinian artists, borrow their books from the library, and watch their tiktok and YouTube videos. This is not money that any of these people are going to see immediately but you were doing two very important things by supporting Palestinian people in this way. First, you are showing corporations and the government that you care about the Palestinian people with your money (even if you technically didn’t pay except by ads). Second, for Palestinian creators that you are supporting in this way, you are providing them some funds for themselves and/or their family living in Gaza for a time after this has come to an end. This is something that will only add up if a lot of us are doing it.
Respect your limits but remember that in this world as it is such a choice is unfortunately a privilege. Don’t feel guilty about your needs, unless you are responsible for genocide. In which case, please feel guilty about everything.
I’m tired but will continue to post more about this.

Epic Snails on iOS – First Impressions // Review
Tumblr media
Epic Snail is a mobile and PC game created by RocketSnail Games where the goal is to shoot your other snail opponents. The game is currently in its open beta stage so it’s not fully completed yet.
The game concept was created by Lance Priebe (aka RocketSnail), one of the co-founders and creators of Club Penguin. In an interview with Adam Hamilton, Lance said that he grew up with G.I. Joe and wished that Club Penguin went on a ‘darker route’ with the snowball shooter aspect.
“I’d love a darker side. I always wanted to add the wars. Like, where is the tactical snowball combat? Where’s the trench-fighting? Where’s the snowball forts? The buildings, the bunkers, WHERE ARE THEY?!”
youtube
Recently, the game was released on iOS and I took the time to give the game a shot. I will be reviewing the mobile/iOS version of the game. All of this will just be my first impressions as I only played it once… which was today.
First look
Tumblr media
The whole concept of this game reminds me about this other mobile game which involves worms. It was a 2D (and in some cases, 3D) battle royale game where you take turns placing mines and shooting the opponent using missile launchers and other forms of guns and firearms. But despite the concept similarities, it also has massive differences such as you play as a snail, it’s not turn-based, and the weapons of choice.
The art style reminds me of the TV show Veggietales. Just the 3D look of the snails just reminds me of the cucumber character, Larry.
It’s clear that the snails are to resemble Lance’s animal mascot, the Rocket Snail so that’s really neat to see.
Tumblr media
The Gameplay
This game is a multiplayer battle royal game, where the max players per session are 8. Unfortunately, you can’t choose which session you want to battle at and more players can get added when a current game is in session. There are no private rooms so you will be pitted against other players in the server.
There are currently 2 kinds of battle arenas (which get selected in random): The Snowforts and The Backyard.SnowfortBackyard
There are also 3 types of weapons you can choose. The Missile launcher, the assault cannons, and the canon.Missile Launche
Assault Cannons
Cannon
The most popular weapon of choice from players I’ve faced are the assault cannons due to its rapid-fire capabilities. The missile launcher doesn’t seem to work over on the mobile version of the game and the canon is really powerful but you only shoot once and have to hide just so you can wait for it to recharge.
Tumblr media
Controls
The controls are not the ones you’re used to.
It’s like a joystick control but you can only move forwards and back, and moving the stick left to right just rotates you but you don’t move until you point the stick forward or backward.
This will take a lot of getting used to.
Tumblr media
Art and music design
The music is very, very quirky!!!
It’s this innocent military game that reminds me of that tanks mini-game over in Wii Play. Very quirky and cute and doesn’t sound that intense compared to other shooter games like Halo.
youtube
The 3d art looks really cool. Kinda reminds me of Club Penguin Island but if it’s more military… and snails… But it’s child-friendly and a lot of. the design is REALLY cute.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
While this game is Lance’s way to steer away from what Club Penguin was and create a child-friendly war game, he puts in these tiny easter eggs for Club Penguin fans to recognise.
Tumblr media
Cross-platforming
This part doesn’t really work well for me at the moment.
Tumblr media
The issue was (at least for Mac), I’m unable to log in my main account and just ended up creating another account. And to top it all off, I couldn’t log off or apply with a spare email to save the username of the 2nd account.
Hopefully, this part of the game would be fixed for Mac versions of the game.
My exeprience playing the game
Currently, the game is being played by people who are in the Club Penguin community (with probs a few of their friends). Remember Perapin from my previous post in my side blog? He plays the game… AND HE’S REALLY GOOD!!!
Tumblr media
The fact that people in the Club Penguin community are playing the game makes it more welcoming for me to engage with them and the game. Like, being able to recognise each other in a world outside of Club Penguin is such a surreal experience.
Also, having the honour to verse Rocket Snail mano-to-mano is also cool as well (until the battle arena keeps adding more players).
I’d wish there were more customisable options as I don’t want to be green forever.
Overall thoughts
I’m not a fan for shooter games, first person or third person, not a fan. People who know me know that I’d be hiding in one location in either Halo or Counter Strike as I don’t enjoy running around and getting shot constantly by other people.
Epic Snails is a good introduction to the shooting game/warfare genre. It’s child-friendly so don’t expect blood and gore or music that makes you feel stressed. It’s quirky and innocent, and it’s made by the guy who created Club Penguin.
The only thing I dislike at the moment is the controls and me being unable to log in to my main account over on the mac. Hopefully, that gets fixed.
I’d give this a 3.5/5. Since it’s currently on beta, the expectations of bugs and other mishaps are expected but so far, I’m enjoying it!
What are your thoughts on this game? Will you play it? What do you think should be added in this game? Let me know in the comments below!

I find it kind of funny…
I am so unorganized. I have ADHD and can never manage my tasks. Making lists and keeping a planner and all of that stuff doesn’t really work for me, with the notable exception of when I’m playing video games. Seriously. I’m still super disorganized when it comes to gaming, like if I’m playing Skyrim or some other RPG that doesn’t have a linear story you’re forced to engage with, I’ll be all over the place. But I have this one notebook that I started using as a sort of gaming to-do list. At first I was just using it to keep track of caves and catacombs I’d done and bosses I’d slain in Elden Ring (before realizing there’s so many that keeping track of it all was a futile endeavor), but now anytime I have things I want to do in a game I’ll write it down. I have pages and pages of notes like: •collect smithing stone (4)s •do varre’s questline to get access to palace ledge road grace •give academy scroll to Sellen; so on and so forth… I didn’t think there was anything odd about this, and there isn’t, in a vacuum. My girlfriend thought it was funny but also kinda sad that I keep such detailed notes on characters and tasks that don’t exist outside of a fictional world, but not for my real world responsibilities. In a way, I think it makes total sense that I would be able to much more easily engage with a to-do list filled with tasks that I can pick up and put down at will, with no one besides myself holding me accountable to accomplish them. I’m at a point in my life where I haven’t accomplished much to speak of in terms of personal progress in quite a while. But for some reason, these little things, like sticking to my little list and doing my little mini self-assigned quests in a world within which I have a little bit more control, feels good, I’m not gonna lie. Just feels like I at least accomplished something I set out to do. Anyway. I don’t know quite how to post on this platform yet so I just figured I’d vent.

How to start making money online in this month of September.
1. Become a writer With the growing interest in content marketing, more and more companies are looking for copywriters who can fill their web properties with lots of content. The secret to success as a writer is to focus on a specific niche. Many writers try to be generalists and write for a variety of categories from food to tech. However, as a writer, focusing on a niche will set you apart and make it easier for you to attract clients in your target market. If you have experience in a niche, you can add a different perspective to a piece of content. This means you're not just saying the same thing as other writers online. It's the price brands really want to pay - your thoughts, your experience, and your insider's perspective on your niche. When applying for a writing job, be sure to send relevant samples to the recruiter. If someone requests a marketing writing sample, please send them a marketing writing sample. Do not send financial articles. or fitness. If hiring managers can't see relevant examples, it's hard for them to know how much you know about your niche industry. Apply to opportunities that match your skills and experience.
#workonline #workfromhome #onlinebusiness #money #quickcash
2. Do side gigs
Side gigs can help you make money online while you keep your full-time job. If you’re looking to make an extra couple hundred dollars per month, this is a great idea. The work doesn’t always last long-term, but it can.
Use platforms like Fiverr to find part-time gigs that you can do online. As a new entrant in the gig economy, you’ll want to focus on offering a low price so you can get your first review. I’d recommend getting a friend to buy your gig to leave your first review so you can get started faster. Treat the friend like a client and actually deliver a finished product that you can feature in your portfolio.
The thing with Fiverr is that it’s also a numbers game. If you look at top Fiverr users, you’ll see that they have multiple gigs available. The more gigs you have, the more likely you will be found.
If you don’t want to get paid Fiverr prices, you can turn to platforms like Flex Jobs to find side gigs. Under its jobs section, you can search for contract or telecommute opportunities. The great thing about the telecommute opportunities on Flex Jobs is that you can apply for them in any city in the world.
Flex Jobs has a variety of side gigs including writing, business, design, accounting, and more. So, if your talents don’t match up with anything else on this list of money-making ideas, you might want to try a side gig from Flex Jobs. Applying to multiple opportunities will increase your chances of landing a few gigs in a short period
#workonline #workfromhome #onlinebusiness #money #quickcash
3. Translation work is the best too Translation is an underserved niche, which means there is less competition in the field than other niches. To take advantage of this opportunity, you must master at least two languages. If you're bilingual or major in popular languages at school, it might be a good idea to earn some money to try. You will need to demonstrate your translation skills. If you have a language degree or experience in translating texts, be sure to highlight this in your portfolio or CV. Most companies will require a translation test, and you can't always use translation tools to help you pass the test.
#workonline #workfromhome #onlinebusiness #money #quickcash
4. An online tutor is another opportunity for adding income. If you want to make money online on your own schedule, consider becoming an online tutor. Studenomics reports the story of a man who made $2,100 in one semester through tutoring. Interestingly, he built his clientele through word of mouth, popularity, and good group pricing.
If you have a teaching degree, you may have a better chance of getting a tutoring job. Having a degree or language experience is essential for this type of work. You may also be considered for an online tutoring, teaching, or mentoring position if you have spoken on the subject at a conference or event.
While science and math are often in high demand for tutoring positions, you will also find that English is popular with an international audience. If you are an expert in a field, teaching can be the right platform to earn a quick buck.

5. Have you thought of work as online tutor?

6. Invest in stocks You can also make money quickly by investing in stocks. If you're not a stock-picking expert, you might want to skip this lucrative idea. Although it can have one of the highest returns, it can also lead to losing money if you are inexperienced.
If you currently have a 9 to 5 job, review your company's financial plan. Do they allow you to invest in company stock? If yes, please register. At least through the company stock plan, you have some influence on the success of the organization as an employee. If your business has a matched RRSP, you can also join one if your goal is to save for retirement or put down a down payment on your first home.

7. Drive for Uber or Lyft If you own a car, you can save money as an Uber driver or delivery person. But even if you don't, you can still use your bike or moped to deliver food and other essentials. Uber drivers who want to make more money from their car can use free car mounts to turn their cars into mobile billboards. In this case, the company will wrap your car in removable vinyl with an advertisement for the product or brand. How to make money with Uber Do you want to know how to make money fast with Uber? If you have your own side business, you can showcase your products to interested passengers. However, not everything will be like this. However, if someone is interested in your product, you can list it for sale under the driver's seat for passengers to browse. If a customer doesn't have cash, you can ask them to pay using Uber's tipping feature.

8. Virtual assistant's position is growing everyday With so many entrepreneurs building their businesses, the demand for virtual assistants is growing almost daily. A virtual assistant is a freelancer who provides services to a business remotely. Writing, accounting, social media, and customer service are just a few of the services you can provide as a virtual assistant.
You can find gigs on sites like Virtual Office Time, Indeed, or Upwork. Many virtual assistants are also finding ways to make money online by reaching out to brands and entrepreneurs to ask if they're looking for help running their business. By combining a job posting app with outreach, you'll find your first client faster than you think.

9. Twitch Streamer is another way of creating income. While Twitch started as a gaming platform, it is rapidly evolving to include other types of content. Today, Twitch streaming is an increasingly popular way to make money online. To make money fast on Twitch, you need to increase your subscriber count. If you are consistent, streaming on this platform can help you build a large following quickly.
#workonline #workfromhome #onlinebusiness #money #quickcash
You will need to find popular games or channels with less competition so people can easily find your content. To get people to notice your stream, your channel needs to have a consistent style: will it be fun, educational, or entertaining? Choose your path and stick to it. There are five ways to monetize your Twitch channel: product sales, brand sponsorships, fan donations, subscriptions, and Twitch ads. As a Twitch streamer, you should focus on using all five monetization methods to ensure the highest financial return. With the right strategy and hard work, you can make big money hosting Twitch streams

10. Analyze apps and websites If you're passionate about user experience, User Testing pays reviewers $10 to provide feedback to other entrepreneurs on their sites and apps. As you browse through the website, you will see a series of questions that you will need to answer. It's a fast way to make money online.
#workfromhome #onlinebusiness #money #quickcash #workonline
By browsing their website or app, you will communicate your thoughts and feedback to entrepreneurs via video. Your videos are only 20 minutes long, so if you make three videos per hour, you'll earn $30. Other reviewers can work on projects quickly, so you need to act fast when it's time to review a new website or app.

11. Sell greeting cards online
If you have a knack for choosing the perfect greeting card for different occasions, this can be an easy way to make money online. However, I don't recommend that you market your services to everyone and everyone - it's not a smart way to do business. Instead, design or create greeting cards that appeal to a specific group of people.
For example, you can create a greeting card for a senior executive who wants to thank the senior vice president for his successful decision last year. Alternatively, you can target healthcare professionals who want to thank their patients for choosing a clinic. When designing cards, you can use online graphic tools such as Photoshop or Canva. These tools make it easy to create beautiful cards to brighten up anyone.

Elisa Lam
You were just like me, so hauntingly like me. for starters, i’m bipolar too, have been for decades. it doesn’t get easier but you manage. you’d know right? what doesn’t kill you makes you stronger. you of all people would know that. i have severe manic and relapse stages too. right now i’m in a relapse and looking at your tumblr, probably not the best combination, but you’ve inspired me to go back into it. i was also a prolific poster on it during it’s heydays too and on social media now, it garners too much attention to my liking. i also had a very big insensitive mouth, i got in trouble a lot for what i’d say and it’d go viral. i was exactly like you, i never shut up. but social media is not the same as it used to be back in 2019. people aren’t the same as they used to be too. we would both be in deep shit with our vocal opinions. there are too many terms and conditions, post too frequently, people you’d assume you have no life or are either a social climber or a clout chaser, when you’d wear your heart on your sleeve. you wouldn’t have liked it. selfish to say, at least you dodged the pandemic. we were the same age when you passed. but that’s why i like this platform now, it’s technically a fossil for old people, but on tumblr, you don’t have to worry about being a quality content creator, you can still have something on your blog from reblogging someone else, and no one would call it stealing cause that’s the point. on tumblr, you’re a curator and your blog is the museum, unlike tiktok, you get to be who you really are and no one would pry there’s a zero chance someone will read or find it, because well, it’s a dead app. hardly anyone i know uses tumblr anymore. none that i know of at least and it feels safer for me to do so. it’s crazy you know, how the terms and conditions of being on social media has changed in the blink of an eye, it’s hard to keep up. post too frequently, people call you a social climber, wear your heart on your sleeve, you’re a clout chaser. you wouldn’t like tiktok, you’re too class for that. idek what even compelled me to join it in the first place. third, we’re both artistic but i’m more of a painter than photographer, i write sometimes too but it’s my biggest insecurity that i’m not good at it. sometimes i really try and just let loose, but i’ll probably never be a journalist. third, i’m also an avid reader, a tolkein fan, harry potter fan. i love the classics and fic lit. i’m sure you’ve read a lot of penguin classics too. we would have spent hours in the bookstore talking about books and exchanging or even borrowing books. and here’s the clincher, i’m also asian. part colonizer / part colonized actually — filipino. my family owns a bakeshop in our hometown as well which is quite obscure but known to boomers. two different nationalities of origin but our countries were allies in history once we are so, so, so much alike, that i never wished so badly to be friends with someone i never met. that i should’ve known you in the time of LA and kept you company, I’ve been there 5 times to you know? I’ve never been m never been so engrossed in a late person’s and their account before and being the spiritual karmatic believer that i am; it scares me. — i’m scared my life literally parallels with yours, it’s not too far fetched. just a different time and a different space, because, why is it in the year 2022 am i suddenly thinking of you again? are you trying to reach out to me? are you trying to get my attention, are you trying to warn me? do you want help? is your soul still not at peace? should i consult my tarot cards? is it because i’m going to the states and going to be alone from now on? are you telling me to be careful out there? what are you trying to tell me? i may sound like i’m going crazy coincidentally? — it’s the first few days of ghost month.

Fake Accounts: Is Marketing on Twitter Worth It?
The Tesla founder bought Twitter for approximately $44 billion, which is more than the many small countries' total GDP cost. Twitter is already at a loss, and many factors are responsible, but it is still one of the best platforms, especially for leaders worldwide. But when it comes to marketing on Twitter, it is not the first choice of companies. A report says, around 19.42percent of the active profiles on Twitter are fake. Due to this, many companies have observed a sudden drop in followers, but no need to panic. You didn't do anything wrong; this has happened to almost everyone.
Since April, Twitter has been trying to clean and remove the fake accounts used to mislead users; around 5percent (70M) of the active counterfeit profiles have been drawn, but we can expect some pace after the acquisition.
Why Do Fake Twitter Followers Even Exist?
If it’s true that fake followers don’t work as a marketing strategy, why are there still so many fake followers? We still live in a virtual world where everyone cares about the number of followers. People check the numbers no matter how many active or fake profiles. Users connect numbers with success; the more followers you have, the more successful you’re.
Another reason why fake followers still exist. Fraudsters make money with them. Not just by selling them, but by using them to deceive you and steal from you.
To make one thing very clear, fake Twitter followers are bots. They’re not real people. Fraudsters create them and then use them for illegal purposes, including fake reviews,  fake news dissemination, ad fraud, online abuse, content abuse, and spam.
Bots Are Pilfering Your Identity
A 2018 article from the New York Times exposed the practices of a company called Devumi that sells fake followers; often, as the article makes clear, these accounts are created using personal information stolen from legitimate user accounts:
“The accounts that most resemble real people … reveal a kind of large-scale social identity theft. At least 55,000 of the accounts use real Twitter users' names, profile pictures, hometowns, and other personal details, including minors.”
In short, fake followers are predatory bots built to defraud and destabilize otherwise legitimate platforms.
Analyzing the Analysis
“From May 13-15, 2022, SparkToro and Followerwonk conducted a rigorous, joint analysis of 44,058 public Twitter accounts active in the last 90 days...our analysis found that 19.42%, nearly four times Twitter’s Q4 2021 estimate, fit a conservative definition of fake or spam accounts (i.e., our analysis likely undercounts).”
The report describes fake followers this way: “Spam...that does not frequently have a human being personally comprising the content of their tweets, consuming the activity on their timeline or engaging in the Twitter ecosystem.”
Re-Approaching Influencer Strategies
“I'd recommend still working with sources of influence on Twitter," assured Rand Fishkin, author of the report and founder of SparkToro "Just because, broadly, they may have 10 or 20 million fewer active users than their public statements say doesn't mean the hundreds of millions of folks you can reach there aren't valuable.”
Indeed, for any organically grown account, the majority of followers are going to be real, interested, and targeted. One of the reasons fake profiles are such an issue with the platform is the ease at which they can be purchased.
Any brand considering working with an influencer can measure how “real” their followers are and use that new number as the basis for their analysis.
As Neal Schaffer, author of The Age of Influence, noted: “There are still real people on Twitter who prefer that platform to others and thus can be engaged with, and it is also where the media continues to look for information.”
Solution: AI-Powered Fraud Prevention
There is no place for fake accounts and fake followers in our digital economy. The way counterfeit currencies harm the economy is how they hurt the digital economy.
The answer comes down to proactivity. When you can prevent fake accounts from being created in the first place before damage occurs, then you win. DataVisor CEO and Co-Founder Yinglian Xie regularly point out, “If you are only keeping up, you are already behind.”
We’re sure you have why companies do not prefer marketing on Twitter with the above information. Active, genuine users are required for marketing, and Twitter is not good at this. You can take help from the fake follower's tool, but Twitter does not carry trust in marketing. However, the platform is still good at delivering news and information.

Name: Mechakoopa
Debut: Super Mario World
So a very polite anon has humbly requested we write a post about Mechakoopa! They are apparently this person's favorite, so today's their lucky day! See I don't like to brag but, I'd definitely consider myself as part of the top 100 most qualified people to talk about Mechakoopas in the world! And who am I to turn down such a request?
Tumblr media
Now the 90s you see, were a turning point for good Mr. Bowser here. With a brand new clown-helicopter thing to pilot around you might think he's all set, but what kind of self-respecting villain would he be without filling his evil lair with a number of Evil Wind-up Toys based on himself? So he does exactly that- a whole fourteen years before Mario stole his idea, mind you!
Yes, you read that right! Despite their name, Mechakoopas are tiny mechanical versions of Big Bowser himself, not just any run of the mill Koopa, which explains their green heads and funky hair! You know how Koopa is actually Bowser's Japanese name? Yeah! They could've localized them as Mecha-Bowsers, but Mechakoopa just flows nicer doesn't it? And he is still technically a Koopa!
Tumblr media
"Yo, somebody rang?"
No!! Not you, Mecha-Bowser from Super Mario Sunshine (2002)!! You'll get your turn eventually! Geez! Anyway. Where was I. Oh! Yes!
Tumblr media
This is the obligatory part of the post where I'm like “Get a load of this funky guy”! Get a load of this funky guy! Instead of reinterpreting Bowser’s design very literally in toy form, the Mechakoopa is very much its own beast, with its funny beak and little funny legs. Our aforementioned anon mentioned the wind-up key, and oh, what a wind-up key it is! And of course the raisin d’eclair- the fantastic little googly eyes! Oh where would we be without those googly eyes?
Tumblr media
Naturally though, Bowser doesn’t just use his toys to populate his spooky castle- he always has to keep a few on his person! So he chucks them at you in the game’s final boss fight, but he didn’t account for the fact that, in this game only, Mario can throw upwards! Oh no! His one weakness! Being pelted with plastic!
Tumblr media
By the by, I’ve always thought the original Mechakoopa sprite from Super Mario World looked super funky! The hair almost looks like its on fire! And I like the goofy grin.
Tumblr media
The Super Mario World cartoon decided to interpret this sprite by turning him into a horrible little man. No, I don’t want this! He shouldn’t have arms!
Tumblr media
The Mechakoopa’s next appearance in a mainline Mario platformer was in New Super Mario Bros. Wii, where they act... exactly the same as they do in Super Mario World! Cool! This basically established them as modern Mario enemies, but there isn’t much to say other than that!
Tumblr media
Like all our posts about Common Mario Enemies, it would probably be boring if I just listed off their every appearance, so I will just bring up the ones that are worth mentioning. For example, Super Mario RPG! In this game, Bowser’s strongest special attack is Bowser Crush, which summons a giant Mechakoopa to stop on foes! According to the Player’s Guide, this Mechakoopa was a top secret weapon developed by Koopa researchers... to stomp flowers and scare butterflies! Wow! That is so so evil! These big guys would definitely live up to the name “Mecha-Bowser”!
Tumblr media
“Hey guys, are you talking about me?”
NO, we are NOT talking about you, Mecha Bowser (with no hyphen) from Mario Kart: Double Dash (2003)’s Bowser’s Castle course! Get the heck outta here! Gosh, some people just don’t know when they’re not wanted!
Tumblr media
I am sure after all this you are wondering, they may be mechanical toys but can they do math? The answer is yes obviously! This is Mechakoopa from Mario Party Advance, and they’re a mathematician! They invented Mechakoopa’s Theorem, the very real mathematical theorem that we all used in school! Everyone give them a round of applause!
Tumblr media
I’d like to bring up their appearances in the Mario & Luigi games, not because it’s particularly notable, but because of how much I like their sprite and idle animation! Look at the wind-up key spin around and the eyes go up and down! So cute! Oh, and also because in the Superstar Saga remake they replaced the Mecha-Chomp enemies (may god rest their souls)!
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Super Mario Maker 2′s final update was an epic win and a #1 victory royale for Mechakoopa fans anywhere, since it not only added Mechakoopas to all four main game themes, but also two brand new variants: the Blasta Mechakoopa (in red) and the Zappa Mechakoopa (in blue)!
Tumblr media Tumblr media
As you might expect, they can Blast (missiles) and Zap (lasers) respectively! I’ve no idea why they added these random functionalities to Mechakoopas specifically, but they’re a lot of fun and some of the most unique projectiles in the game! Zappa? I barely know ‘a!
Tumblr media
Oh, and I almost forgot! They are in Super Smash Bros. as well! Bowser Jr.’s moveset is a treasure trove of little references to Mario gadgets, and even though Bowser no longer tosses these guys from his Clown Car, his son has taken up the job! Only in this game, Mechakoopas explode. Uh oh! They didn’t do that before! Still, I really like popping a Mechakoopa out of its Mechakoopa Compartment just to see it wander around the stage. It’s fun!
Tumblr media
Now that’s all I have to say about good old Mechakoopas, but I’d like to give a special shoutout to this guy in particular- the Micro Mecha-Bowser, from Super Mario Galaxy! For a long time, I assumed they were just Mechakoopas with a different design... But this definitely looks like a beefed up version of the Mechakoopa, with their big goofy teeth, their pig nose and their funky cross-hair eyes! These dudes can breathe fire too, so they really are more like Bowser! And if there’s a Micro Mecha-Bowser, there’s gotta be a normal one!
Tumblr media
“Whassup? I heard somebody call my name!”
Harumph! Nobody called you, Mecha-Bowser from Super Mario Galaxy (2007)’s Toy Time Ga- Er... hold on a second. You actually are exactly the person I was talking about after all! My mistake! Though I do wish you’d at least give us a heads up when you’re gonna show up, given you’re the size of a small planetoid!
Yeah, the Micro Mecha-Bowsers are named after this big robot from Toy Time Galaxy, Mecha-Bowser (not to be confused with Mecha-Bowser or Mecha Bowser)! Though I have to say, there isn’t much family resemblance! He’s so blue and un-turtle like! Still, this must’ve been my favorite mission in Galaxy as a kid- I’d replay it over and over again just because the idea of climbing on a giant planet-sized robot and dismantling it piece by piece was so cool! It was like Shadow of the Colossus before I knew what the heck that was!
Well that’s about the extent of the Mechakoopa family. Isn’t it fun? There’s a moral to be learned here, and it’s that, uh... little wind-up toys are very charming! Um, I suppose. Look, writing conclusions is hard!

So, as promised, I’m going to talk about camming and OF. This will probably be in multiple parts, and I’m starting with security.
The first step to beginning on a camsite or on OnlyFans is already a dangerous one: Uploading several photos of your photo ID with your real, legal name, often (depending on the website) with a selfie of you holding your ID card next to your face. Obviously, this exists to ensure that the person creating the account is not only 18 or older, but also that they are the person on the ID. Models are encouraged to go by stage names on their profiles and never release any personal information; age verification photos are not shared with any other members. That doesn’t make it secure. Last year alone, multiple camsites and similar “sex work” websites suffered data breaches in which models’ and members’ information was leaked. The legal names, ID photos, and home addresses of at least 4,000 models on the camsite PussyCash and its affiliates were leaked in a data breach (source), and 2 million user records for paying members on one of the most popular and well-known camsites, MyFreeCams, were released (source). A phone sex website rising in popularity, SextPanther, experienced a data breach in which 11,000 identity documents were leaked, belonging to models signed up with the site (source). Along with the identifying documents, over 100,000 pornographic photos and videos sent from models privately to members on the website in exchange for payment were also leaked.
SextPanther in particular is one I’d like to talk about. It’s designed as a competitor to existing phone sex/sexting websites like NiteFlirt, and it hasn’t been around very long. It’s marketed towards camgirls and their male fans, and almost every camgirl I know is either on it or has applied to be on it. The ones who were accepted to the site consider it a crucial part of their income. The reason I’m highlighting it is because not only did the website suffer a massive data breach, employees of the site have been known to actively look up models’ private information on the backend - going so far as to announce this to models in person, or address them by their legal name in public at adult industry events (source). I believe it is safe and, honestly, encouraged to assume the same thing has the potential to happen with any adult website, not just SextPanther.
Every single cam show a performer streams and every single photo and video that is uploaded to any platform is at risk for being recorded, downloaded, and reshared on the internet. Many women go into camming without being aware that their shows WILL - not might - be recorded and reposted elsewhere. When I went back into camming, I was aware of this and expected it. My first show was not reposted elsewhere (that I’ve seen), but my second show was shared on multiple websites immediately. I did the shows two days in a row, meaning that it took only 48 hours after I streamed for the first time for my content to be shared to various websites without my consent. Literally anyone watching my show, whether they tipped me or not during the show, could have recorded it. It’s also very likely it was simply a bot. Many of the websites that camgirls’ streams are reuploaded to have absolutely no contact information available to contact them and ask for them to be taken down; many of them are also hosted in countries that are not obligated to respond to DMCA strikedowns. The websites that DO have contact information for models to request takedowns typically demand the same information I listed above: A model’s real, legal name and photo ID, and often a selfie beside the ID to confirm that the person requesting the takedown is the person the ID belongs to. The forms on these websites for you to submit this information through are almost always composed like a basic website’s “Contact Us” form, and there is absolutely no promise of the information being kept private or secure in any way. In order to MAYBE get the recording removed, these sketchy ass websites demand your full legal name and home address.
Photos and videos on OnlyFans may be locked behind a paywall, but anything posted can be easily screenshotted or scraped and shared elsewhere (source). Search “onlyfans” on Disboard.com and you immediately find dozens of Discord servers dedicated entirely to reposting and trading stolen content from OnlyFans accounts. Reddit users advertise folders of their collections. The content is copied and shared across pornographic websites, including PornHub. While OF explicitly forbids the saving of content against the creator’s consent, it doesn’t matter. Anyone who has access to a subscription can find a way to save anything posted. Often, men troll inexperienced women on OF with requests for a free trial and a promise of “If I like your content, I’ll sign up for a longterm subscription!” If this offer is accepted, they take the free trial, save her content, and then disappear. It’s also worth noting that even a paid subscription for a single month usually gives a subscriber access to ALL of a creator’s content - everything she’s ever posted, not just the content she’s posted that month. Another common scam is purchasing a 1 month subscription, saving the content, then immediately unsubscribing and charging back the subscription price so that the creator loses the money she would have been paid for their subscription.
I’ve already talked a lot about content being shared across other sites, but I want to note as well that it’s nearly impossible to make ANY money as a camgirl/OF creator without being on multiple social media and adult sites to cross-promote. OnlyFans does not offer any options to promote oneself on their website, so traffic must be directed from elsewhere. The most popular options are Reddit and Twitter, but other websites/apps include Instagram, TikTok, Tinder, PornHub, and FetLife. Not only is the sheer volume of cross-promotion required fucking exhausting, but it also means increasing the number of places you’re uploading content that can be stolen. Common advice from OF creators is to upload 30-50 photos to Reddit every single day. NSFW subreddits are frequently hostile to sex workers, and even the ones that permit sellers’ posts ban any watermarks or digital photo alteration and threaten bans for blurring out identifying marks on the body or posting “faceless” photos. Some of these subreddits request age verification with photo ID as well to prove submitters are over 18, which prevents minors from posting but also lands your identifying real life info in the hands of independent subreddit moderators, AKA literally just Reddit members who run the subreddit. Some websites like Reddit strip the EXIF data from your photos when they’re uploaded, but others do not. Many women doing this are unaware that photos they take on their phone or DSLR may have data ingrained in the file that indicates the location the photo was taken, and don’t realize that this data should be stripped before uploading to any website. Similarly, some are unaware that when they create accounts for apps like Instagram to promote their content, the account may attach itself to your existing data on your phone - email accounts, Facebook accounts, phone contacts - and put your stage name and sex work links into the orbit of people you know in real life or locally, because the account gets recommended as a “Person You May Know.”
TL;DR: This shit is severely risky from the second you sign up for an account and only gets worse from there.

Style Headcanons
So basically, I’m a big hater to the way the costume team worked on them. The whole “All Isle kids wear Leather” and “Auradon Kids always look like they’re on their first kid and on the way to the country club” thing drives me crazy. It sorta feels like they made costumes before giving them personalities (The leather on Carlos  and Evie feels like it clashes with their personalities. Lonnie’s dresses in the first movie doesn’t fit the personality we see, even though she didn’t have much of a personality until movie two. Audrey dressed like a thirty-four year old mother who just picked up her kid before going to the country club. Ben’s only good outfit was his swim trunks.) So here are some personal headcanons and pictures of what I imagine for them. (I started making them at 1am last night lol)
Villain Kids
Evie
As someone raised to want to be a princess, she wants to dress like how she imagines a princess would.
She loves pastels and is no stranger to pairing pastel blue with a neutral red or bright white.
The only pants she really wears are either athletic shorts or those little flowy elastic shorts, otherwise she’s all skirts.
She’s sorta a prep but not in the same way a character like Audrey would be.
Evie has respect for most aesthetics, even though she doesn’t fully fit just one. However, she hates crocs and those little pastel shorts that white boys wear, she will announce it often.
Wouldn’t be caught dead in neon colors.
owns a blue fur coat (it’s fake fur, obviously)
Tumblr media
Carlos
Baby boy is a total softie
You know that one gay little sweater in movie one, that’s where they went right, more of that.
He’s into the soft boy aesthetic and only strays from it for formal wear
loves layering sweaters over button ups
Cuffed jeans, always because ya know, bisexual
Owns a floral button up from Jay, normally he hates patterned button ups but it’s his favorite shirt.
Loves striped sweaters, he owns about 6 variations of them in different colors (all include red, white, or black of course)
Tumblr media
Jay
In theory, Jay doesn’t really have one aesthetic, he’s willing to try on just about anything
Most of his clothing was bought by Evie or Carlos, especially his formal wear
The only clothes that Jay will buy for himself is athletic wear
He doesn’t really see the point of buy clothing that he can’t go straight to practice in.
Still has the beanie,  but he owns one in just about every color to match it to his outfit.
Listen, we know Jay’s main color is yellow/gold, but why did we always see him with more red/blue in the movie? What type of snow white aesthetic were they trying to give him?
Jay owns a button up that he write on, he refuses to wear it actually buttoned though
Tumblr media
Mal
She loves the grunge/alternative aesthetic, she thinks it makes her look more like she belongs to the Isle
She wouldn’t wear skirts until after she and Evie became friends, Evie bought her her first skirt (a purple plaid one) and she fell in love with it
Mal has a whole jewelry box of just chains, both necklaces and ones that attach to clothing
Owns a pair of Demonia Swing-815 boots (black patent) and a pair of Demonia Camel-203 boots (holographic purple)
100% owns one of those studded hot topic belts.
Has a headband with little horns that symbolize her mother’s horns
Instead of the leather half gloves from the movie, she has those little fishnet gloves and covers her hands in rings.
Tumblr media
Uma
Her style is similar to Mal’s because if Mal is going to do something, Uma will do it better.
Uma only wore outfits that were super Fem and had skirts until Mal started doing it
Then it was Uma always wearing pants, because of her love for plaid skirts she owns a whole collection of plaid pants
the only jeans she owns are black or dark wash.
Her first ever large purchase was a pair of Doc Marten 1460 Zip Tartan Lace up boots (they’re green, black, and blue plaid)
She and Harry bought matching Doc Marten Jadon platforms (his are more shiny though)
Isn’t as into chains as Mal, more into chockers.
Tumblr media
Harry
When the E-boy aesthetic came out, Harry was all over it
Harry definitely has one of those chains with a little lock on it.
I’d like to imagine he has baby gauges
the before mentioned platform doc martens, he definitely treats them like his baby
Even though Harry dresses like an e-boy,  he always has his pirate hat on
Definitely wears cloth masks as a fashion piece he actually would wear his in the pandemic though, unlike some people who wore them before but not for safety
Harry is actually really good at graphic liner, he owns a gold, red, and white eyeliner to add color to the outfit if it’s mainly black
gold>silver
Bought plaid pants because Uma did, he want’s to match with his captain
Tumblr media
Gil
As we know (maybe you don’t) it’s in the canon that Gil’s mother taught him to sew and he enjoys it.
So Gil doesn't dress in one aesthetic or even close to being in one, he wants to try out everything, both making and wearing them.
He does stick to a monochrome color scheme though, mainly shades of brown with white or black thrown in. Sometimes he adds a little red or yellow though to “honor” Gaston
Most of his clothing is more comfortable than anything
Only owns three pairs of jeans, the rest are different types of pants (he loves corduroys)
Owns a pants chain that harry bought him but he only really wears it when Harry and Uma are wearing one so he won’t feel left out on it.
Tumblr media
Dizzy
Baby girl has seen the Isle steal the childhood innocence from people, she dresses in kidcore as a way to keep hers
Her outfits always has at least 4 different colors in it.
No stranger to neon colors, she has a pair of overalls that are neon rainbow and covered in gummy candy and she only wears them with a neon green tee, Evie and Carlos hate this outfits, Jay loves it because of the disappointment it brings to the two fashion fans
Dizzy’s outfits in the movie were colorful obviously but they should have been just more over the top
She loves patterns and has no fear of pattern mixing
definitely owns some funky earrings, clay rings, and  statement necklaces
puts beads on her shoe laces, especially on her converse (they were white ones, she drew all over them)
Tumblr media
Auradon Kids
Ben
Okay so Ben’s animated and movie outfits were bad, you can’t convince me of anything else
Why was Ben not dressed in the soft boy aesthetic? You’re trying to tell me that Belle’s son wouldn’t be a soft boy?
He has a jean jacket with his father’s beast symbol painted on the back
Absolutely loves graphic crewnecks, often layers them over collared shirts
He and Carlos go shopping together often in their free time
Lover of funky crew socks,  ones with paintings, patterns, logos, whatever. But his socks always match
After he and Mal started Dating, he bought a white jean jacket and let her paint it, he wears it all the time even though it didn’t match his original clothing, he bought more clothes in her color scheme to match it
He owns like 6 pairs of high top converse (light blue, yellow, white, navy, black, and Purple after getting the jacket back from Mal)
Tumblr media
Chad
Listen, out of everyone he was the closest to how I imagined he should be, that being said, he had a little soft boy thing going on in some movies that I don’t think fit his personality
Polos and button ups are basically all he owns, but he does have some of those pastel simply southern esc graphic tees (Southern people probably know what I’m on about, all the guys who act like Chad at my school have like 5 of them each)
Owns 6 pairs of those horrid little southern boy pastel shorts in different shades of blue (plus 1 white pair)
Will not wear jeans, ever, the only pants he owns are khakis
All over the shirts that have logos embroidered into the shirt over the chest.
Definitely gets asked if he’s on the way to golf/ the country club, the joke is that he is, he has to meet his father there after school
prep.jpg
Tumblr media
Audrey
Listen, I’m not an Audrey stan, but they did her so dirty in the first movie
She should have been the stereotypical mean girl outfit wise, I mean, mini skirts, all pastels
Owns a pink teddy coat, and a white one, she actually cares about if they get dirty though, takes good care of them
definitely has a collection of tennis skirts, pairs them with sweaters/crewnecks or blouses that have a slight puff to the sleeve
The type of girl to wear rufflely rompers on her birthday every year, pink, white, or baby blue obviously
loves those tiny shoulder bags
preppy and looks good in it.
cropped polos and tube tops
Tumblr media
Jane
This account is a Jane should have been cottage core/ fairy core fan page, her outfits were almost there, just not there, she’s literally a fairy but can’t use magic nor did they let her dress like one, I hate it here
Baby girl loves gingham and floral patterns, some of her dresses are a little more to her mother’s taste than hers (her mother bought them) but as long as it’s a pattern she likes she will wear it.
Cardigans are her best friend, she owns one in multiple shades of pink and blue, plus a white one (all of her clothing fits a pastel pink/blue/white color scheme)
Babydoll dresses her a her favorite style of them (the one I put in the top right corner is what I imagine her birthday dress as)
People try to mockingly ask if she’s on her way to a tea party/picnic (like they do with Chad and the country club) if the answer isn’t actually yes one of her friends still say yes, no one can be rude to her about it
She owns a corset (Evie bought it for her, it made her nervous at first but she loves it)
Owns kitten heels and flats mainly also two pairs of mary janes (in white and blue)
has one of those little pearl purses that aren’t really useful but they’re cute
Tumblr media
Lonnie
Last but not least, our funky little lesbian (she is, Jay is just her emotional support queer man) Lonnie, she sticks to the teal, blue, and pink color scheme they gave her in movie one
She mainly wears sweats (or athletic clothing) otherwise it’s graphic tees tucked in (many of them are from the men’s section)
Only wears sneakers, she has places to be but also collects them (also owns 1 pair of pink crocs, Evie tried to burn them)
Carlos and Ben talked her into wearing a collar shirt under a graphic tee once (they bought her a sleeveless button up which she hated at first) and now she does it anytime she wants to look like she put effort into her outfit.
Wears a lot of necklaces and rings (she loves to layer necklaces, she thinks it makes her sweats look less boring)
Uses a mini backpack instead of a purse, easier to carry more things.
Has two pairs of custom painted air forces.
Hates wearing bracelets but always has to have a hair tie on her wrist so they don’t feel empty .

AA7 Speculation Post: One Year Later
here we go again.
A year and a day ago, I made a speculation post about if/when we’d ever be seeing AA7. Obviously, my claim that AA7 would be announced in September 2020 did not turn out to be true, but later that year we did get a leaked calendar containing information on the new ports for Chronicles, and also plans for a new aa7, which I summarized in this post.
Now that we have Chronicles we can verify that the leaks contained legitimate information (as if a statement from Capcom saying they were hacked wasn’t legitimate enough). So that leaves us with one key question: is AA7 still happening? If so, when can we expect it? As well, what other information from the leaked calendar can we consider, especially with early sales data on Chronicles? In addition, what are the implications of this new survey on Chronicles from Capcom?
All of that will be discussed under the cut so that this doesn’t take up too much space.
Revisiting The Calendar
Once again, here is a rough translation of the calendar that was present in the leaks:
Tumblr media
As a note, in this post, I’ll be referring to our new games as “Chronicles” to prevent this from being blocked by people avoiding spoilers.
So: this original calendar, generated before the pandemic, had Chronicles releasing in Q1 of FY2021 - and it’s also important to note that in Japan, each fiscal year starts in April 1st, so FY2021 is actually April-June 2021. This shows that Chronicles was pushed back about a quarter from their expected release date. However, Chronicles was a port of already existing games, therefore somewhat less work was needed on them - upscaling models and textures, adding in some new features like autoplay and story mode, and of course, the English translation and voicework were needed, which is still a lot of course, but less compared to development on an entirely new game. In addition to that, the pandemic hit AA7 in its early development stage, assuming this schedule was still being followed by the time the pandemic hit. That could cause more delays than expected.
So the original plan was for AA7 to be released in Q3 of 2021, which corresponds to October-December, aligning with the 20th anniversary of the series in October. While it’s a desirable goal, it’s quite likely the pandemic pushed it back at least a quarter, if not more, if not cancelled it entirely. ... haha.
We’ll only know the fate of AA7 for certain when it’s announced. Which it is possible it may never be. However, I have two theories for, if AA7 is getting an announcement, when it will be:
1) Sometime during September 2021, either in the leadup to or during Tokyo Game Show this year. These are for the same reasons as I outlined in my initial speculation post. It’s a popular time for Ace Attorney game announcements, after all. TGS, according to what I can find, will be held online this year from September 30th to October 3rd. If Capcom announces AA7 earlier in September through Famitsu, like they did with AA6 for example, then we can expect to get some information during TGS...
2) Sometime during a 20th Anniversary Event, possibly in October 2021. I’m assuming AA is planning something for the 20th anniversary - Chronicles wasn’t really marketed as a 20th anniversary release, for instance. If they can’t release a new game for the 20th anniversary (which at this rate, seems unlikely, as we’re about two months out from that with no word about it) then an announcement would be just as good at generating hype for it.
Naturally, if we reach this time next year with absolutely no news on AA7, it’s probably safe to say it’s been cancelled or at least delayed so severely that anything we currently know about it isn’t worth much.
There’s one more point of interest on the calendar: reconsidering the porting of 456. I feel that this depends heavily on how well the Chronicles ports are doing; if it’s not financially viable to keep porting games, then why bother? So, let’s take a look at that.
The Success of Chronicles
As I write this, it’s about two and a half weeks since the release of Chronicles worldwide. So... how did the games do? It’s a bit hard to tell, especially as I am not a game marketer and don’t know the expectations for Chronicles. What is obvious is that, if Chronicles does much better than expected, porting 456 and possibly even the investigations games seems likely. (If Chronicles, indeed, does especially well in the West, than a porting of the investigations games and localization of investigations 2 after ten years could very well be possible.) If Chronicles does absolutely terribly, it damages the chances of porting, and possibly of continuing the series. If it does terribly especially in the West, where the games are essentially new, it could damage the chances of any new games being localized at all.
So, a lot is riding on this, and I don’t know enough to tell how well it did. Here’s what I have found, however:
Nintendo Enthusiast reports on Famitsu sales of Switch games, and overall thinks it’s not doing so great. Chronicles ranks third on the list of Switch sales in its first week, with 14,460 units sold, over 4000 less than NEO: The World Ends With You, which was released on July 27th. Keep in mind that Chronicles was released in Japan on July 29th, which is two days later, and that these are only Japanese sales (where they’ve had Chronicles for years on both mobile and 3DS) and only Switch sales, where NEO:TWEWY is currently only available on Switch and PS4 (Chronicles has the additional platform of Steam, where there could be many more sales). In the next week, Chronicles ranked 22 overall, with NEO:TWEWY at 23, though of course they’re still a little less than 4000 units behind NEO:TWEWY overall. Slightly closing the gap, I guess.
How about overseas data, then? ... It’s hard to tell. I can find this report from gamespot which discusses the top 20 games sold in the US in July, and Chronicles is not on the list, while NEO:TWEWY is at 16. However, they don’t give any number for the units sold, and it seems that they aren’t considering digital sales for a lot of them, so it’s hard to tell how much of a hit that is.
However, let’s go back to Japanese sales for a bit, and look at the 2019 Trilogy re-release for a comparison against Chronicles. Allegedly, combined Switch and PS4 sales in the first week of the trilogy’s release only amounted to about 8000 units, a little more than half that of Chronicles’ Switch sales. It’s also important to note that the 2019 trilogy ended up being the only ace attorney game to sell over a million copies. Ace Attorney is not a big series; I’m sure Capcom takes this into account when considering sales data, especially for ports. If Chronicles does end up doing better than the trilogy overall, it’s definitely looking good for ports and especially so for Chronicles.
However, there’s more to this than just sales data.
The Survey
Capcom now has a user survey for Chronicles, which you can answer even if you’re partway through the first game. I believe it’s only open until September 30 2021, so if you think you can finish the game before then, I’d recommend filling it out once you’re done so that you can give the best feedback.
It asks you a bunch of questions like what platform you bought it on, why you bought it, your expectations, and all sorts of detailed questions on the various mechanics, difficulty and enjoyment of the trials and investigations, satisfaction of visuals, plot, characters, music, and even free response sections for what you liked and disliked about the game. It’s a very detailed survey that’s pretty long but I think is worth filling out. At the end they ask you to fill out some demographic questions (such as age, gender (male, female, other), country, what kind of things you like to spend money on, and what kind of games you like, what platforms you have to play games on). But what’s possibly the most interesting question is this:
“If a new [Chronicles] game is released in the future, do you think you would buy it?”
This means that, depending on the answers to the survey, they could very well decide to work on a third game to Chronicles.
This has huge implications for the future of the series. I’ll probably make a separate post on plot-related stuff later, but for now... let’s talk about logistics.
In my initial AA7 speculation post I said I highly doubted that they would ever make another Chronicles game. I also said that they probably never would be localized, so, guess who’s a clown now.
Right now the AA series is in a bit of a dry period, with no new games having been released in the last four years. As well, with Yamazaki (the director of the investigations games and AA5/6) having left Capcom, the next director of the mainline games is completely unknown. As described in this video, the main reason Chronicles ever came about was because Capcom went ahead with mainline AA5 before Takumi could come back from the Layton crossover. Now, since 2017, we don’t really know what Takumi is working on. It’s possible he’s gone back to mainline to work on AA7 (though of course, there is absolutely no evidence suggesting that he has, so definitely don’t take that as any sort of confirmation).
However, if we do get a Chronicles 3, it’s quite likely Takumi would return to work on that, as he directed the previous two games. In addition, if Chronicles ends up being such a success to completely eclipse mainline (from what I’ve heard, though I have no serious proof, Resolve is considered as highly rated as T&T by many Japanese fans) then the series could permanently go down the road of writing more Chronicles games, leaving mainline stagnant (which, let’s be real, it’s already stagnating). The success of that is uncertain considering how neatly our current Chronicles duology wraps up, but... we’ll have to see how things unfold in the future.
For now, I highly recommend filling out the survey to give your input to the series’ future directions. Maybe mention that you want localized investigations 2 somewhere in the free response section because uhh I forgot to do it in mine. do that for me.
TL;DR
Main takeaways from this post are:
- I personally expect an AA7 announcement either during TGS or a 20th anniversary event
- If Chronicles does extremely well, then 456 ports are likely to happen, and I personally speculate investigations ports (along with localized investigations 2) will as well.
- Fill out this Chronicles survey before September 30th to give your input on the games and possibly the future direction of the series. I recommend completing the games before you do, but if you think you won’t before September 30th, you can fill it out at any time.
- We Very Well May Get Another Chronicles Game. Who saw that coming. Not me.
Thanks if you read through all of this, let’s hope September/October doesn’t leave me looking like a fool again.
