SUDDEN INSPIRATION, GO!

This is fanart for the beautiful, life-changing, incredible, never-before-seen, show-stopping- fic ‘House of Cards’ on AO3, written by ContinueEclipse ( @continueegglipse / @afternoonsvn on Tumblr), my beloved. The drawings are of Lipseul on videocall with Jinsoul, Chuuves with breakfast in bed and Jungeun and Nako in the music practice room. (IDK if it was clear what I drew, ‘cause my art’s very simple)

If you haven’t read this fic, do so DAMMIT, it’s GOOD. It’s EmoTIoNaL DamAGe, but it’s worth it, I promise u. If the author sees this, they might be able to guess who I am, partly because of the fact that I drew two fanarts for Jungeun’s side love interests (I will never shut up about them). This fic makes me so happy, and I can write actual paragraphs about it (which I kinda did in the comments of the fic, ehe), but just. AAA, y’know?

I have pretty much not drawn anything in months, neither for posting nor for myself privately but what can I say? I found my muse. So yeah, I guess this kinda pulled me out of a long art block, at least for the time that it took me to draw these. I can probably draw better, but I was trying to not get caught up in details and just move my hand and I think these turned out very cute, I especially like the video call one (:

Five Things You Might Find in My Fics

@oldshrewsburyian tagged me in this and I love navel-gazing about my own writing. Of course all of this is in the context of my only really writing stuff for one fandom/set of characters but there are certainly multiple routes one could take with them and I definitely have recurring themes...

Spirituality, sexuality, and their intersections. My main characters, after all, are a polyamorous triad (they don't call themselves that obvs) consisting of two queer men and a woman who are varying levels of devout ranging from "very much and genuinely" to "has a lot of issues but is glad to have his partners in his corner." I've done a lot of work to make their (very healthy and loving) relationship feel grounded and believable in a very religious and also very sex-negative medieval culture without just making everything constant angst, and I think that's also helped me to incorporate the characters' religious beliefs more consistently throughout and to think about the issue in more depth.

Struggles with infertility. This is, again, part and parcel of the subject matter, as I'm dealing with historical figures whose childlessness was a major crisis in their lives and for the realm as a whole, but I've come back to it a lot especially in recent years and I kind of suspect this is a result of hitting my forties and still being single and kind of thinking about how I'll almost certainly never have kids and while this isn't a major source of angst in my life, it's something I do kinda turn over in my head once in a while (my attitude towards it was always "I'll worry about it if I ever meet anyone I'd actually want to start a family with"). The flip side of this is that I write a lot of fluffy or at least ultimately-ending-happily fics where Richard and Anne do manage to have some kids about whom I have lots of elaborate headcanons because I'm a dweeb.

Czech stuff. There's not a ton of fiction that has Anne of Bohemia as a major character but of the stuff that's out there, none of it really deals much with her home culture although it usually mentions that she was coming from the cultural center of Europe to the edge of it. Of course, the imperial court was a major locus for the International Gothic artistic movement but I do like to foreground Anne's Slavic heritage -- her father placed a lot of emphasis on his Bohemian ancestry, and also it's something unique that Anne and her entourage being to the English court. In general I want to emphasize that she comes from a specific cultural context that's generally been overlooked by English speakers, and that involves both giving some sense of her family as people with distinct personalities and also specific references to the literature, language, and culture of her homeland.

Medieval literature. I mean, obviously I also have a lot of direct references to English (and French) literature, music, culture, and so forth, because I'm a manuscript librarian with a Ph.D. in English literature so of course I do. (There are also a lot of manuscript references and I always forget that they would just call them books.) Although there's not as much Chaucer as you would expect, largely because I tend to modernize my quotes (the language is modern to them) and it's hard to do that to Chaucer.

Fluff. I think this is mostly a "since the pandemic" thing. In the present moment it feels like the preference in the teeny histories fandom is more for darker stuff so I do feel like I'm a bit out of touch, but idk, other than the novelthing which is pretty miserable that hasn't been where my heart is lately. Anyway they all die young and in upsetting ways so they should get to have a bit of a nice time first.

James Flint, Black Sails

I have loved and will continue to love James "Flint" McGraw both for his place in the story and just in general. His was the story that took me by the shoulders, shook me briskly and whispered "it doesn't have to be like this, the world doesn't have to be this cruel but it is and aren't you tired of it? Aren't you tired of pretending that the status quo is ok? Aren't you ready to make it change?" And he was the main voice for that sentiment that shook me down to my bones.

Farah Dowling, Fate Winx Saga

Farah is a character who has done horrible things. She's been the unthinking protegé of a monster and still came back from the edge. She's someone who took all the pain she experienced and has decided to be kind, even if she struggles with that sometimes, and I love her for it. And she's not motherly, she's more of a wine aunt, but she still cares so deeply about people and that's refreshing too. And of course I love it when I get a female character who is allowed to be complex and also in charge.

Saul Silva, Fate Winx Saga

I love Saul for being arguably the most responsible adult in the room at all times and also so deeply, deeply defined by tragedy that I don't think he knows who to be without the guilt he's carrying around with him (I'd love to find out, though). He's got a life that's been deeply shitty in so many ways but he keeps trying to do the right thing, and then there's the way that despite everyone else around him caving and doing things that are questionable or just outright wrong, he's the one with the moral center and the conviction to say "no, I'm not doing this and I wish you wouldn't either" even in the face of danger. Oh - and he's a damsel in distress, which I don't get to see in male characters much.

Daud, Dishonored

*looks at Daud* *looks at Saul* uhhhh, I appear to have a thing about guilt-ridden men who also adopt every kid in sight and who end up getting forgiven by the people they hurt. I just think they're neat, ok?

Charles Vane, Black Sails

Look. This character has - oh, so many flaws. He's a piece of shit in so many ways, but he's also got some of the rawest lines in this entire damn show, the ones that I'd willingly get tattooed on me so I don't forget them. If you ever need to know what radicalized me, it was probably this guy and everything he said and did from 2x10 on.

Tiago Rodriguez/Raoul Silva, James Bond

I'm sorry, was I not supposed to like the most stylish villain in a Bond film since...idk, I think the last one with this much personality was probably Elektra King. The brat energy. The little bit of crazy underneath it. The fact that the man had a really valid point and actually succeeded because he set achievable goals. The way he's... not quite sexually aggressive with Bond but also definitely wants to get railed. Fascinating.

Simon Torquill, October Daye

Simon. My darling, best idiot who needs to have someone wrap him in a blanket for about a century and make him as much honey-sweetened tea as he can stand and above all else not allow him to make major decisions until he's had a chance to process the clusterfuck that is his life up til now. I love him, your honor. I love that I get a male character who's allowed to be his own worst enemy but also the kindest, most caring father anyone could ask for when he's not flinging around transformation spells and shooting people with elfshot while being puppeteered by a megalomaniac. And of course I love an actual redemption arc that for once doesn't end in death. Right, Seanan? RIGHT? (jk, I trust her. Mostly).

Rosalind Hale, Fate Winx Saga

Ok, so. I both hate Rosalind and love her as a character. It's a complicated thing, but I think what I really love about her as a character is that she's a female villain who is creepy as fuck and I wish that the writers had not immediately turned her into... whatever the fuck they were going for in s2. I was much more fond of s1 Rosalind who was an absolute monster who broke the adults in the series so badly and so completely that they're still a pack of emotional wrecks twenty years on. I wanted her to stay that monster instead of being written as a butch lesbian who's just very done with everyone's shit and occasionally given to a bit of torture. I wanted a better look at what she did to Farah, and to Ben Harvey, and for someone to spell out in great detail that she took Andreas and broke him down to be her attack dog from the time he was sixteen.

Basically I love the potential of the character but if she turned up in front of me I would be compelled to stab her quickly.

Javik, Mass Effect

There's something about Javik that I keep coming back to and I think it's the sheer weight of what he represents. One individual out of trillions still alive. Shepard's mirror image, but his mission went to hell and his people all died and now he's awake again and it has to feel like a kind of torture. And yet, for all that, Javik's character arc is about hope. It's about picking yourself up, or rather being picked up, and figuring out how to live again. If you do everything right, Javik gets to see the end of the Reapers and the end of the carnage. He gets to live, and grow, and maybe finally put down his gun and write a book or something, and that's important. We all need a character to remind us that as long as you're alive, there's hope.

Nomi, James Bond

I love her, your honor. If there's one thing the last film got right, it was having three women of color, none of whom had the slightest inclination to fuck Bond, and of the three of them, Nomi is my favorite. I love that she's the new 007. I love that she's there to drag Bond's ass and warn him off her assignment. I love her "Double-0 what?" and I love her "I'll shoot you in the knee. The one that works." I love that she gets to murder racists, and I love that she's got fully as much style as any other 007.

R/nance is such a weird ship. First of all most people just strip the characters down, they are barely recognizable. Then they just gloss over the fact that Robin is Steve's bff and that he would be happy for her dating his ex he still has feelings for. And then people get pissy when Steve is even involved, as if he's not literal the center of the ship because he has history with both characters. Also Robin wouldn't just abandon Steve, or she at least would feel guilty about it, but most of the time she just leaves him in the fics and makes fun of him with Nancy. Same with St/ddie, idk both ships just infuriate me because the headcanons in the fandom are so awful, the characters aren't themselves in favor for some ship dynamic.

Also the way Vickie is being ignored or made into a villian just screams biphobia to me. And the argument that she doesn't have enough screentime isn't valid, when one of the hellfire boys, I forgot his name something with G, gets randomly shipped with Will so people come up with so many headcanons.

I'm not a huge B/ler fan because like R/nance people just forget about the third party, in this case El. Like I'm sorry if my brother would date my ex idk if I would be okay with it. Or Will would feel terrible same as Mike. Maybe in the later future but realistically they wouldn't get together right now. Even if El doesn't make it, it would take a long time.

See, I like Byler because in my ideal "selectively ignores parts of canon I don't like" world, I believe Mike and El never should have gotten together in the first place. I get Mike having a puppy crush because omg a girl who doesn't immediately ignore him and also she has super powers??? yeah, I get that. What I don't understand is why the hell the Duffers thought it would be a good idea to make El interested in Mike when she barely understands the concept of friendship in S1, let alone romantic attraction to another person. Stranger Things should have focused way more on El building platonic (familial or friendship) bonds with other characters, because those relationships would have been so more interesting than whatever the hell we got with mi/even, because the ship did a huge disservice to both El and Mike. In my perfect canon, Mike/El never would have happened, and byler would have just been playing the long game since S1.

R/nance is just not a vibe and everything I've seen about it has the characters being such warped versions of themselves that I don't get the appeal. Granted, I don't like Nancy to begin with, so I was never going to like the ship anyway. Ignoring Vickie definitely feels biphobic in some ways, but it's also clear that the fandom doesn't think queer ships count if they aren't between main characters. Like... sorry guys, it's not a win for diversity when the characters didn't have a queer arc to begin with and were just put together at the end sloppily for points.

I have zero opinions on st/ddie right now because I blocked the tags by August, but honestly the entire "fruity four" as a concept makes me want to smash my head in with a rock.

Hi, you're very good at explaining stuff so I was wondering if you could write something about how Brienne ending up as someone's bodyguard/in their kingsguard or whatever isn't a good ending for her (even if the person is supposedly worthy?) Thank you!

I think I went into it more in depth back in the day in case it's under the janie writes meta tag but in short:

there is a thing named character development which means that if brienne starts the series wanting to be in renly's kg then ending the series being in someone else's kg... makes no sense

specifically: brienne wants to be in renly's kg because she doesn't literally see any other way to be in songs/be the closest thing to a knight she can get/be near the man she loves

breaking it more in depth: - brienne is in love with renly because other than being her type he's also the one person who treated her with some basic decency like not even WELL just with some basic decency - renly knows that and he admittedly said he kept her around bc he knew she was loyal but like... he didn't care about her - brienne thinks that she can't marry anyone bc she's not marriage material nor love story that is reciprocated material but also that like... she can't be a knight officially bc she's a woman so basically being in renly's kg is the closest she can get to it - which means that basically she's gone like 'okay I'll live a celibate life forever in the shadow of a man I love who doesn't love me back for whom I'd die when he doesn't care either way because it's the closest to being a knight I can manage in this shitty society even if I'm technically a highborn lady and I would actually like to have a family and someone to love me back' - which is... a pretty miserable position to live also I can 100% assure you that thinking you'll never get anyone and you have to settle is like Not Standard Attractive Experience™ and like... so she's an ugly™ woman who can't have what she wants but tries anyway and settles for the best thing

also: kingsguards in asoiaf are coded as bad like I've said it since forever but the kingsguards are rotten organizations, knighthood is a rotten thing and all the good knights in these books are people who are reviled, laughed at or not consider themselves one (jaime brienne and sandor l m a o) and all the ones that are considered good/great/spotless are... bad or shit or gregor clegane and as I've ranted more than once (here and here) brienne is slated to be the in-verse recognized truest/best knight including actually getting the title so if she's that good the point is... she can't be part of a rotten organization now is it

now: the moment renly's toast and she can't be in his kg anymore brienne's sl goes like... she swears herself to the first woman who doesn't treat her like crap/respects her which is supposed to become her own aerys and meets the guy she's canonically in love with by the end of affc with whom she has a storyline that's like... stated to go in a reciprocation way and meeting said guy makes her realize that she sees the world too much in b/w and that guy also gives her a priceless sword and sends her on a quest and oh hey after that she has to... do what killed *his* will to be a good knight ie killing her former mad liege lady bc the choice is that or the guy she loves (I mean going on speculation but that's what was the affc choice) and like... the difference is that she won't throw in the towel and go on and then she'll get to shine and be the knight she was always 100% meant to be and so on

and like... point in brienne's sl: she hates that she's not fit to be a worthy son or daughter for her father bc she was too freakish? well she's going to get both as in if these books don't end with ser lady brienne of tarth being with the man of her dreams I'm eating my own hat because as I ranted above it's all textually there

and guess what... brienne has her own storyline and she's going to come out on top and for that she has to be front and center of her own piece of story

which....... if she gets into a kingsguard doesn't happen because she would swear herself into a life of service for someone else to whom she'd always come second and if it's sansa's it's even worse bc it means she should sacrifice her personal wants, the chance at being with a man she loves, her own title and having a family bc she's serving... the standard attractive lady bc she's idk she owes catelyn a debt? iiii dooon't thiiink so and like since sansa is also stated to have her own love story in a book where it says both beautiful girls and ugly girls get it if the ugly girl gets into the kingsguard then.... what message does it send? the one that dnd did which is not the one grrm wants to send

brienne bodyguarding ppl means that she's playing second fiddle to someone else and sacrificing her own wants and needs because she doesn't believe she deserves them beyond TRYING TO BE A KNIGHT and her arc isn't going like that, so if she starts it like that then there is no way in hell it ends in the exact same place

brienne is stated to be the first anointed lady knight and to do whatever the fuck she wants with it/after and to have her cake and eat it (knighthood and love story) and anything that goes against that/says that she has to end up in a subservient position to someone who only values her skillset and her loyalty goes against everything the text has stated

also, tldr: brienne ending up in a kg has an 'ugly girls have to settle and can't be happy romantically and if they follow their dreams they can only have it halfway and in a demeaning way' message printed the fuck over it in neon letters and that's not what grrm wants to say or ever wanted to imply and I'm dying on this hill /two cents, welcome to my ted talk

I've seen a thread on ig about how Undertaker was probably never Claudia's lover, and I know you kinda ship them or at least are a believer of the UT=Cedric theory, I kinda am too and I tried not to be bias while reading that post but I feel like their points were rlly weak. Here are some points that tried to debunk UTxClaudia: 1. Cedric canonly has a birth and a death date which means he is human (lol).

2.Because UT was already a shinigami when he met Clau, we need to ask ourselves some questions: Why should a shinigami be able to have children? Since the shinigami duty is a punishment for those who commited suicide. Being able to live a nice life, have kids and interfere with human affairs and lives does not respect those facts.

3. Isn't it weird for him to fall in love with someone that was born 24 yrs after he came to the human world?

4. UT expressed strong feelings toward all the other mourning lockets and Vincent especially. Why would Claudia be more important than the rest of them?

Idk but when I read this I went ??? a bit cause I dont think it rlly debunks anything :/.. or maybe I cant see it that way cause I'm a fan of the theory/ship. However I wanted to see the side of a theorist/ an analytical pov, so what do u think?

Only two things boggle my mind, here:

How that person thought their arguments debunked anything in the world, and

How you managed to send such a long ask in one message....

Anyway, I’ve received asks like this before, but it’s usually from people who think more like that thread on ig. You can try searching my blog with some of the tags on this post, like #cedric k. ros—, etc. But let me see if I can pull up something that gets to the heart of this ask....

....Um, it’s really spread out over way too many posts for me to grab that many links. Anyway, a search for “cedric k ros” brought up a ton of posts generally on this topic.

Also, my beliefs have changed somewhat over the years. I wonder how old that ig thread is, since we’ve learned a lot more canon information on Undertaker and the Phantomhive family since I first joined the discussion of Undertaker’s true identity. So, I’ll address each part of your ask here and now.

Cedric has a canon birthdate and death date, so he must be human. Well, it means he must have once been human, but it doesn’t mean he’s a mere human now. Besides, the years of his birth and death are rather conveniently covered up by a speech bubble. The rest of his last name, too. Go check out all my #cedric of rotherwood posts. Cedric might have lived and died centuries ago, might have become a reaper long ago, too.

Shinigami having kids breaks the rules. Reapers being able to have children could actually be part of their punishment... if my theory is correct that reapers are reborn as a form of karmic reincarnation. That would mean reapers are born to biologically female reapers, who definitely do exist; there just don’t appear to be as many of them, which fits suicide statistics. A reaper having children with a human goes against reaper rules, since they are not supposed to meddle in human affairs... just collect souls. Technically, they don’t even judge the souls, they just follow a protocol to verify it’s that person’s time to die. This doesn’t mean it’s impossible; it just does, in fact, mean Undertaker is breaking reaper rules. But he’s obviously doing that anyway. Why not break all of them? 🤨 Edit: There’s a good reason for him to want to have children with human females (not even necessarily just one), for the very reason that it skirts around this punishment of making more reapers with reaper females. Reapers like Undertaker, who might be mating with humans, can cause the reaper organization to become even more understaffed over time. That’s something else I have mentioned before in my theory about them being reborn. There could even be a backlog of souls from suicide victims that are waiting around for new reaper bodies to be placed into. And the way Ronald flirts with females both in the reaper realm and the human realm suggests that Undertaker isn’t the only one who might be spreading around his reaper genes... changing the very nature of humanity over the generations.

It’s weird that Undertaker would fall in love with a human within however many years of deserting his post. Not weird at all, plus we don’t know whether love is the only thing that might have brought them together. Also, 24 years is merely a guess... and not a very good one. 136649 tried to destroy reaper HQ ~70years before 1889, so around 1819. The year these three things historically happened: 1. Queen Victoria was born, 2. Prince Albert was born, and 3. (Sir) Walter Scott introduced the world to Cedric of Rotherwood in Ivanhoe. He even invented that name, Cedric. Undertaker says he hadn’t been called a reaper in about 50years. That suggests two things: 1. He not only failed to destroy the HQ, but he also might have been captured, punished, and returned to his work as a reaper until he finally deserted about 20years later, and 2. If he didn’t actually manage to escape until around 1839 or thereabouts, then Cloudia/Claudia was just a kid at the time. Undertaker might have become involved in the Phantomhive family’s “work” before she became watchdog; he might have been an informant to her father, for example.

Why should he care more about Cloudia/Claudia than the other people on the lockets or Vincent? If he loved her, and if she bore his children, then it would explain this quite easily. Who wouldn’t cry over the death of their child? These other six people represented by the other lockets must also have been particularly dear to him, for various possible reasons. But he seems to focus the most on her locket. It’s also placed directly in the center of the chain; they are not in order of death dates. (In fact, their last initials create a pretty cool set of notes, with Phantomhive becoming an F or an F# [F sharp]. Please see #lockets’ melody and #leitmotif posts that date as far back as 2016). And more recently, her locket (and her locket alone) has become a symbol of Undertaker in series merchandise. Them having been lovers would explain it pretty well, I should think! And, if I’m right that “136649” means he became the 49th registered reaper of 1366, then Cloudia/Claudia died (was killed) not just on a Friday the 13th... but also 500 years after Undertaker was registered as a reaper.

First SPEC: Dean will Rescue Castiel from the Empty, to complete full circle.

This idea started, as I said, in episode 14x07, and seeing that till now there's not hint about Dean and Sam knowing Cas made a deal with the Empty, I'm getting this feel that this could be the last plot in the season.

Dean rescuing Castiel is so perfect, because we will be back to this...

Castiel, who started the game, rescuing Dean from Hell, marked a new beginning for Dean. Giving him faith and hopes, and introducing him into this exciting spiral, his relationship with Castiel.

And we had a lot of episodes recalling this rescue in season 14, we had even one Castiel that didn't rescue Dean from Hell! And, if it that wasn't enough, we had this too...

Is important, is very important, not just for Dean and Cas, but for us to recall this, why?

Remember episode 12x19? Yes, the mixtape one... But also... This...

Castiel healing Dean in a very special way... Closing and touching their fingers, lingering touch by the way, but it also... Forming a circle. And the episode was called THE FUTURE. So... Does this means, they have to complete a circle? If Cas rescued Dean from Hell, maybe now is time for Dean to rescue Cas from the Empty.

Season 14 showed us a lot of SLEEPING BEAUTIES, people in coma or sleeping. We related that with the Empty plot.

This season is about missing people, and people surrounding them saying IS NOTHING, HE WILL BE BACK or SHOW UP SOON. Because they're young people, and young people do that.

Well, if this isn't the presumption Sam and others do when Cas is not around... IDK what else to think...

CAS WILL BE BACK, HE WILL BE FINE, HE ALWAYS DISAPPEAR LIKE THIS...

Maybe this will be the assumption Sam and others will do when the Empty takes Cas. And will be Dean asking for him desperately like that mom looking for his son in episode 15x06?

SLEEPING BEAUTY, THE MISSING CAS AND THE MIRACLE

I already established the first two evidences for my spec with the sleeping beauties in season 14 and the missing people in season 15, now we have the miracle.

The miracle has Castiel like the center of it.

In episode 14x12, Donnie was in coma and Castiel was able to wake him up, when the doctor appeared, Dean called that A MIRACLE.

This season in episode 15x06 Castiel and the woman searching for his lost son, ventured into the woods... (Everytime you see a wood, remember is symbolically representing the Empty, as it was in 14x17).

So the entered into the woods to search that missing person, and when they found him, Castiel killed the djin and healed the boy, the mother called that A MIRACLE.

Even after this, Cas says a goodbye words to that woman. This dialogue could be taken as a parallel to what he said to Dean (the break up) or a foreshadow to what he could possibly say to Dean when he comes to rescue him.

But I think the miracle will be, Castiel waking up again in the Empty, thanks to Dean.

And maybe this could be the huge thing that will have to happen mentioned by Misha in one of the cons. To repair their bond, they need to close full circle.

They're going now to Purgatory, because Dean needs to clear his head, as he said in episode 15x07, they will do it now for sure. We will have the prayer, but I think that won't solve things entirely... We will have one talk, maybe in episode 12, as I theorized in this post, maybe that's THE DESTIEL TALK, they had been foreshadowing since season 14, and then THE MOVES (holding hands spec), as I talked in my meta from 14x06 Optimism, here.

So, with all this rambling right here, let's see what happens...

Second SPEC: Who will carry the mark of Chuck to lock him down?

My friend @michyribeiro and I were talking about this, she and her friends were wondering who will carry the mark?

At first I thought should be Jack, because is destinated to be the one who will renew Earth.

We saw him in 14x14 Ouroboros, related to the SNAKE,the snake represents new life, and then I talked about how Jack was linked to Shiva the Hindu God who has a snake on his neck, the destructor and renewer of the world who brings new life.

So I first thought Jack will be a good candidate, because the mark of God is light, right? Is not dark like Cain's mark, which corrupted Lucifer... And then my brain did this connection here...

So, Lucifer was Chuck's favorite... But it also is Michael...

So maybe this time they will lock Chuck and Adam!Michael will be carrying with the mark. Chuck is supposedly the light, so it won't be any problems of corruption there...

To Conclude:

We had a lot of clues in season 14 about sleeping beauties, and this season about missing persons. Even Cas defeated a djin in the woods. The djin referencing the Empty.

Based on those evidences and onn episode 14x17 guide, as I presumed, it worked as a guide to the Empty plot, my speculation about Dean rescuing Castiel from the Empty to close full circle is a possibility.

The big question about who will carry this time the mark of light, or the mark of Chuck, is on table, I bet for Adam! Michael and for Jack being the one who will renew the world bringing us the bright new future, like Castiel's vision in 12x19.

Chuck, Happiness vs Drama

Visual Narrative meta.

Supernatural 14x20 meta. Moriah.

Hi my friends! How were you? I have here the fifth meta about 14x20 Moriah episode! And is about Visual Narrative too.

I was seeing the colors and the pink following the color coded Chuck (light blue and white) so... I was wonder what this has to do with that... And that lead me to episode 14x15 (Peace of Mind) with the FAKE HAPPINESS TOWN ruled by, what I had to put now, was Chuck mirror.

Ok, no more introduction, let's start this...

Faking stories. Faking Happiness.

Writers lie, and in Peace of Mind, the CHIEF managing a town and playing with their minds, faking Happiness for everyone, compared with Chuck who manipulated the story of TFW since the beginning, what was real and what was fake?

If you recall the way Sunny defeated his father, she used fake Happiness too and created in his mind an emotional prison for him.

It caught my attention we had this scene in Mirror Universe, pay attention to wardrobe and colors of the two people that are about to enter on that place...

You have happiness guy side by side with God lady there (bc... Colors) with black pants.

First point: It could be Castiel and the reminder of HAPPINESS WILL LEAD HIM TO THE EMPTY? (back color)???

But the light blue and white could be God too as we learned so...

Second point... Are they settling the end of God the same way the psyquic ended??? Into a fake happy dream built by her daughter??

Because we don't had just that clue, but this one too...

Look how Castiel is positioning in the center of that hole. Just as this were a machine gun or something... And he is the target ... But again this other time...

Castiel is on the sight, right there... Is he being targeted??? By who? Chuck (as my friend @emblue-sparks pointed in her magnificent meta about Chuck and real life here) or is being targeted by the Empty, as we know already...

The "spying holes" and "The Truman/Winchesters show"

If you recall the Truman Show, was a movie that talked about reality show... Here is the resume.

"The Truman Show is a 1998 American satirical science fiction film[4] directed by Peter Weir, produced by Scott Rudin, Andrew Niccol, Edward S. Feldman, and Adam Schroeder, and written by Niccol. As you can see, this is so accurate with Supernatural and what Chuck had been done till now by writing Dean, Sam and Castiel's stories, putting them on differents challenges or danger, facing situations and drama, just for the good of the storytelling.

So that should felt like discovering you were a show, just the same way Truman discovered he whole life was a lie, a show.

So... My friends ... Spying holes... The whole Dabb's era...

And this is the last one here... This pic is from my friend @weirddorkylittlediana too.

Look at the graffiti behind Castiel... Mostly the colors. We had a discussion with my friends @weirddorkylittlediana @agusvedder and @emblue-sparks , we had differents reading of this...

Sarah said... If yellow is JACK too, then is important he is fixing the plumbers there isn't? Don't forget we are at the Hell's doors here... Interesting observation...

Then the colors behind Castiel's head... Are blue, yellow and red (TFW colors with Dean in red and the yellow separating them... Remember in that moment they were mad at each other...)

Then Agus said that light blue and red were Cas and Dean being happy then down them black color representing the Void who will take Cas with him... You know what Agus... I don't like that. 🤣🤣🤣🤣 I said light blue plus white is God with red is Dean being by his side with the plan to kill Jack, as we saw.

We had having fun babbling about a graffiti 🤣🤣🤣

Puppy 1 is Jack?? Adorable... And black yeah there he is the Empty waiting for his entrance!

To conclude:

This was the last one ( I hope) from my METAS about 14x20. The visual narrative, as you could learn, plays a very important role in the storytelling.

The apparition of Chuck as "the new villain", there's specs too about Chuck not being our Chuck but another one... Idk who... My husband says maybe the Empty??? I'm babbling again... Please stop me!

There's a PARALLEL between this episode and peace of mind, if you want to check my friend's meta @poorreputation how she compared Heaven with the town on peace of Mind is here and @drsilverfish wrote that comparison too here. So there was call back to that and the pink color linked to Chuck.

Castiel is targeted, could be mostly by the Empty, but entering Chuck in the game, could be him too.
