I am applying as a projectionist for this Beatles Biopic.
I just need full access to the Cavendish 1967 and India 1968 private home videos of Paul and John "doing it" and in the style of Fight Club, I'll paste those scenes in.
Just glimpses.
A split second.
Did you see it? Did you not see it? You thought you saw them doing it but you aren't sure.
what do you think would be the order of the Beatles biopics??
( btw i ADORE your rewatches of get back and ULM <3)
Hi, thanks so much, anon!
So I think there's two ways this could be split and fit the "interconnected stories" idea.
The first being like it's someone's pov for quarrymen-hamburg, someone's pov for the beatlemania years, someone's for the experimental golden period, and someone's for the breakup-70s or something like that.
If that's the case, they can't do Ringo first, since he wasn't in the group at that time (which is a CRIME because imo Ringo's childhood is actually the most movie-worthy) and they can't do John first, because that's just Nowhere Boy, and they can't do George first, because his childhood was, other than general poor kid trauma, pretty good and therefore boring. So it would have to be Paul first solely through elimination. Second would have to be Ringo, because he just embodies beatlemania with his confidence and group mentality and uplifting attitude and also because who is a better protagonist for the breakup, the third section, than George? Then you know they're going to want to focus on John last in the seventies because they love their iconoclast martyr. I actually love that arrangement for Ringo and George, but HATE it for Paul and John.
In the other scenario, in which "interconnected" means same time span, multiple povs, I bet they'll do opposite order of the traditional line-up. Ringo, George, Paul, John. You know. Save the best for last and all that.
Thanks for asking! That was really fun to think through actually. Even though I'm experiencing ridiculous dread about this biopic, it's also exciting, and there will be lots to love no matter what.
