I wonder sometimes, what Leah actually knew of their mating. Its directly stated that Leah is extremely foggy on the early years of their mating, but she mentions there being a bargain a couple time. I wonder if thats Leah just parroting Bran, who saw their mating as a bargain and probably discussed it as such. Like maybe as she and Sherwood were dying Bran said some stuff about love or whatever, but it seems likely to me like that was never discussed at the time and it was more of a "do this and you'll live" because Leah was being tortured via Change and Bran was insane. Which brings me back to thinking that all Leah would know is what Bran said/implied happened. So from her perspective, she was 15 and starving, and gets saved (but not by Bran) and then she finds herself already mated to a Bran who said they made a bargain and love is not part of it.

And ultimately that the "bargain" Bran struck when mating Leah, was between Bran and himself. That he'd mate her, save his brother and himself, but never love her. (Because he viewed loving her as a betrayal. )

I love Matilda because it's a story about a child who sees injustice around her and gets mad about it and questions why things aren't fair, and instead of the ending being that she learns how the world works and that life isn't fair, she catapults one of the adults who abused her out of a building with her mind

i do unironically think the best artists of our generation are posting to get 20 notes and 3 reblogs btw. that fanfic with like 45 kudos is some of the best stuff ever written. those OCs you carry around have some of the richest backstories and worldbuilding someone has ever seen. please do not think that reaching only a few people when you post means your art isn't worth celebrating.

the older i get and the closer i am to reaching 30, the more the people around me try to deny me my age. it’s a constant ‘oh you’re just turning 29 again teehee 🤭’ or ‘dont tell your SO that, he’ll leave you for a younger model 😉’ and i just???? hate it?????????

i spent my entire teenaged years fighting for my life. i crawled through the deepest pits of my depression to cling to the promise of a life beyond that pain. i was so convinced that i was going to die young, that i would never see the grace of my age starting with a 2, let alone 3.

so im going to turn 30, and there’s not a damn thing anyone can do to stop me from loving it.
