1. Koisenu Futari

Show that’s specifically made to be about aromanticism and asexuality as well as how aroace people are perceived by society. They are main characters. That’s the main plot.

2. Heartbreak High

Want a teen show with ace rep? No problem. One of the main characters is ace! Would you look at that! The representation already exists! It's got a ton of other rep too and it's on Netflix but somehow we never got that ace rep yet right? You don't even need subtitles for this one.

3. SkamFr (s12)

Is it a bit too much at times? Ye sure but you know what it also is? Another teen show where the main character is asexual that deals with asexuality as the main theme. And no you don't need to watch all those seasons before to get it.

4. Bojack Horseman

I didn't even watch this one but I'm aware.

5. Cherry Magic

Oh would you look at that a show with main mlm couple where one of the side characters is aroace? I mean surely it hasn't been done before.

6. Run On

You want some casual side character ace rep? Well here you go even kdramas have done it but I guess there just aren't any shows...

The Green family dynamics are so interesting because like, Viserys is the father but due to his decay he seems more like the grandfather, whereas Otto is the Grandsire but seems to fill out the role of a father more, not only to his daughter but also her children, so he and his daughter are a mother/father unit but in some situations Alicent is treated like a sibling to her children (by Otto) and then you have the obvious Helaena/Aegon happening (siblings who are also husband/wife and mother/father to their children), but at the same time it seems like Aemond is the one trying to be the family's protector and attempting to step up as patriarch, with some of the scenes between him and Alicent giving off the vibes of equals rather than Mother and Son (like when they discuss Aemond finding Aegon) and his relationship with Aegon seeming like he's the big brother and not the other way around, in this essay I will-

i don’t understand the argument that alicent seeking out rhaenyra is “not feminist” or the question “why can’t alicent just be a strong independent woman >:(” in what world is alicent completely transgressing the expectations of a mother, queen dowager, and supposed enemy of team black not a radical act? how is her conscious choice to seek out peace and potentially love in the face of insurmountable odds not exercising agency? tell me how a woman who acts on her true desires lacks “independence?” the push and pull between rhaenyra and alicent is a narrative tool used to illustrate the deep connection between women and solidarity in a shared experience despite repellent extrinsic forces. accordingly, alicent’s merit as a representation of women is not diminished by her passion for rhaenyra but strengthened; her persistent love for rhaenyra is her connection to freedom, self-determination, and liberation. rhaenyra and alicent are not “codependent,” and their shared love does not minimize their independent worth. two women seeking comfort together among the cannon fire and clanging steal of a war begun by men is not "inconsistent writing" or "bad feminism;" they are each other's connection to hope and true autonomy. when you expect alicent to be unfeeling and self-serving and disregard love (free love, not love imposed by duty), you're inadvertently expecting her to act like a man; you're not delivering her from the shackles of oppression, now you're the one "making a window in the wall of her prison."

saw someone say they're we're happy Alicent's and Otto's deaths forced them "realize what they had done" and like...

Otto's one thing, I get the animosity. but Alicent? your getting hot and bothered over her realizing she failed, she failed to save her children, she failed to protect them, to them alive? that she tried so hard, so fucking hard, making every hard decision, trying to get between her children and the fate they were damned to by Viserys and Rhaenyra? that she damned her kids, who were already damned to die to begin with, and had to suffer the guilt of them dying to her own hand? that she's going to drive herself mad with grief over her children, her grandchildren?

like... it's not satisfying (especially for show Alicent) watching a woman go so mad with grief it literally kills her because she fought with everything she had to save her children only for them to die anyway. ever since her father's exile, when Rhaenyra's lies took Viserys's favor, when Viserys ignored the Rhaenyra's sons bastardhood at the risk of the whole house, or when Luke took Aemond's eye and Viserys demanded good will; she knew her children's lives were forfeit. then Daemon killed Vaemond and her children's coffins were built, catching cobweb's all the while. she knew and she fought it desperately, taking risk after risk, living in fear until her moment came, she could out Aegon on the thrown, she could protect her kids, maybe, just fucking maybe they'd be safe... only for it to lead to a war that would kill her entire family.

her death, slow and tragic as it was, is heartbreaking. she didn't deserve it, she deserved to feel safe, to feel as though she could allow her past friend take the thrown without her children being at risk to feel as though she and her children weren't being circled by wolves and picked at by vulture's. she didn't deserve to live alone and die alone. she didn't deserve to have her hands coated in her children's blood.

Alice tries to keep the basement as disorganised as possible - horrible backlog, no research, when they start talking leave the room. She's Gertrude (just that she's incredibly protective of the others to the point where she's absolutely going to lie and fake so they don't get involved too much because SHE KNOWS THINGS).
