As much as you sounded crazy, they laughed while Toph knew you weren’t lying by your heart rate. You showed them your phone and that’s when the main Trio stops laughing and got curious

✧ ೃ༄*ੈ✩and that’s how you got into the gaang. You were the therapist of the group, always listening to their troubles and helping them with all the knowledge you knew about their characters.

✧ ೃ༄*ੈ✩I can see you making the gaang learn slangs LMAO. You made katara understand the wordings of “What you being messy for?” And she started to use on toph and Sokka 😭😭 you’d probably give Aang a short ass but wholesome slang.

✧ ೃ༄*ੈ✩if you had curly hair, and not some katara curly hair iykwim. I mean like 4c ass hair that I possibly have 😭. I can see katara just amazed and ask in g to comb it which you quickly say no to. Toph, just stands there but probably does touch it when bored. People who ask to touch it is suki, Zuko, and Aang. Those three are people who I can see ask before doing it. Sokka will ask, but will touch it as it ask after 🧍🏾

✧ ೃ༄*ੈ✩big headcannon Sokka training you on sword fighting, but then Zuko comes in because Sokka is apparently “showing” you the wrong way lol.

✧ ೃ༄*ੈ✩suki most definitely would love to teach you her ways of fighting. Plus chi blocking. Once you mastered it, she would take it up a notch and have you spar with her. In honor of her teaching, you agree. You had the upper hand until she practically cheated by distracting you. Making you lose your focus, she nailed you down. But in all warfare, it was full of laughter and friendship.

[Because this is Tumblr: My country doesn't have autism levels, so I'm not going to say level 3, and I'm not going to say high support needs - I was diagnosed with severe autism as a child, and most autistics in this category use severe autism for themselves. It's not a bad word, it's not "the same as functioning labels". Listen to us for once please 😑😑]

A difficult thing about severe autism, especially in combination with severe intellectual disability, is that sometimes you can't tell the individual about another perspective, a different opinion, or try to say "Yes, in your case, but not all", because it's too much for the brain to handle in an already extremely confusing world.

I don't have ID, but I was extremely developmentally delayed, and I remember the fear, anger, and confusion I felt whenever somebody tried to tell me something that wasn't in alignment with my beliefs.

Autism makes it already hard to switch perspectives, and with severe autism, the world is one big chaos and makes no sense, and once things settled and you think you finally understood your little world, suddenly somebody says a contradictory thing and booom, chaos again.

So sometimes people with more or less severe ID and severe autism only see their perspective and their life, and therefore what they say and think seems pretty "black and white" to outsiders, but it's important not to tell them "Hey, this isn't always true, this is only partly correct", because what you try to tell them is too complex for an already overwhelmed brain.

And that's difficult to accept sometimes, but rest assured that somebody will at some point find a way to modify the knowledge you want to share in a way that it's not confusing and overwhelming, when the time is right.

I just wanted to say that because very often people hear or read something and immediately go "Hey, not necessarily ☝🏼", and then they don't understand why the individual melts down and screams, when they "just wanted to add on, that...".

Bot Buddy the Dinobot Sparkling with Grimlock, Swoop, and Snarl

TFA

Buddy was a robot brought to life from the Allspark.

After the events of the Dinobots, the park still needed something to replace the robots.

The first one they did was a baby Spinosaurus with its mother still in the works.

A fragment of the Allspark had gone into the baby’s frame.

The baby woke up and looked around.

Somehow, they knew they needed their parents and began looking around.

They saw the mother bot being worked on and ran up to it purring into its leg.

The robot did nothing to respond to the affection.

The baby was confused and tried again.

Nothing.

After a few more times the baby decided to leave.

The ‘mother’ wasn’t doing anything which confused and saddened the baby.

They saw some cargo boxes and hid there. Maybe the next day would be better.

The box as it turned out would be on a ship that would be passing by Dinobot Island before reaching the next port.

As the ship began turning from the island, one of the straps holding the baby’s box had snapped, and the box ended up falling from the ship and straight into the water.

The baby got scared with the sudden feeling of falling and bobbing up and down with the waves created by the ship.

The box somehow stayed bobbing long enough for it to get semi stuck in the shore’s sandy banks.

The baby, shaken, after the rough tumbling and let out a cry.

It was dark, cold, and they were all alone.

Meanwhile Grimlock had decided to take a walk outside before the storm hit the island.

He liked the feeling of the wind against his armor.

Grimlock minding his own business while walking near the shoreline.

“Wind feels nice. Wind noises nice.”--Grmilock

“WAAAAHHHHHHH!”

“Wind sounding strange today.”--Grimlock

“WWWWAAAAAAAAHHHHHH!”

“Me Grimlock thinks it not wind. Me Grimlock look for noise!”--Grimlock

He went to go and investigate it.

He got curious when the noise he heard came from a box in the sand.

Grimlock grabbed the box with his mouth and set it down a bit further from the water. With one swipe from his tail, he smashed the inside of the box.

Baby’s helm pokes out.

“You make noise?”--Grimlock

“Chirp?”

“Wait… You Dinobot! Small Dinobot, but still Dinobot!”--Grimlock

BOOOM!

“Big lights—wait where you go?”--Grimlock

Grimlock looks down to see the baby huddled next to his pedes shaking.

“No need to be scared! Big lights are far away! No hurt.”--Grimlock

BAM!

“… That one was closer. Let’s go see Snarl and Swoop.”--Grimlock

“Chirp?”

“You Dinobot. Dinobot’s together strong.”--Grimlock

Grimlock picks up the baby with his mouth and walking back to the cave.

To say that Swoop and Snarl were surprised was an understatement.

Grimlock left for less than 5 minutes and came back with a kid.

Snarl is a bit hostile to the baby, snorting at them.

But Grimlock makes sure that he gets the memo.

Don’t touch the child.

Swoop on the other hand takes a near immediate liking to the baby waddling over to see them.

The baby was chirping up a storm. They liked this a whole lot better than being in the box.

“This new Dinobot.”--Grimlock

“Name?”--Swoop

“Hmmm…”--Grimlock

BAM!

The baby shrieks and hides next to Grimlock’s pedes.

Snarl moves in front of the baby to block out the outside weather and lays down.

Swoop wraps one of his wings over the baby like a blanket.

Baby still shivering in fear.

Grimlock finally curled up around all the Dinobots using his backside to shield them from the outside world.

Baby stops shivering and falls asleep.

“…How about Tiny?”--Grimlock

“Tiny?”--Snarl

“They are really small. Good name.”--Grimlock

“Tiny. Tiny good.”--Swoop

Tiny sneezes a bit before curling closer to Grimlock.

“Good night, Tiny.”--Grimlock

Hazbin TK fic

Writing this because there's currently a storm going on that's not supposed to end until 7 pm, and I'm not doing well :)

Lee!Alastor, Ler!Lucifer

CW: Fear of storms?? Anxiety

Summary: Hell gets a really bad storm, and Alastor isn't as composed as he normally is. When Lucifer finds out the reason why, he decides to put their rivalry aside and help him out.

BOOM

Alastor gripped his cane tightly in his hands, his permanent grin slightly more strained than usual. Wordlessly, he stood up from his seat and made an excuse to Charlie about needing to finish up some scripting for his next broadcast.

He turned and left the lobby, his shoes clicking as he walked down the hall.

CRAAACK!!

His breath caught in his throat as he picked up the pace a little, his ears starting to fold back.

"Heeey, Bambi!" Lucifer called, appearing in front of him. Oblivious to the Radio Demon's distress, he grinned, ready to harass him. "Where are you off to in such a hurry?"

Alastor gripped his cane so hard he thought he was about to snap it. "Not that it's any of your business, your highness, but I'm heading back to my room." He replied, trying to mask his fear behind his usual smile and sass.

As thunder sounded again, softer this time, more of a rolling sound, Lucifer picked up on Alastor's anxious demeanor. His tail flicked, and his ears were pinned back a little.

The king chuckled, "Oh come on, don't tell me you of all demons are scared of a little-"

BOOOM!!

Lucifer blinked and looked around. Had Alastor disappeared? The light sound of microphone feedback caught his attention, and he turned to see that Alastor hadn't disappeared into shadow, but instead dropped to the floor and hidden under a table in the hall.

Alastor's ears were fully pinned back as he shook and pressed himself back against the wall.

Sensing this was something deeper, Lucifer kneeled down to be eye level with him. "Hey," he started, speaking softly, the same way he had to Charlie when she was a child and scared of the dark, "You're okay, Al. This hotel was built with angelic power, the storm isn't going to break in."

Alastor, eyes wide still, looked up at the king. When Lucifer took a chance and reached a hand out, he was surprised when Alastor took it.

"When I was a child," the demon started, his voice losing its radio filter, "a really bad tornado hit Louisiana. It devastated our town and nearly destroyed my home. I was in the cellar with my mother for hours until we were found."

Lucifer's eyes widened a little bit, as he felt his heart break for the demon. He gave Alastor's hand a gentle, reassuring squeeze. "You know, Charlie used to be afraid of storms too-"

Alastor forced a short laugh. "Wonderful, I'm behaving like a child." He pulled his hand away, and climbed out from under the table, feeling embarrassed for having acted like that in front of his rival. As another boom of thunder sounded, Alastor froze and gripped the table so hard, the wood started to crack and splinter.

Lucifer summoned his wings and wrapped one side around Alastor. "Let me walk you to your room-" Alastor shook his head. "My room is modeled to look like the swamps of Louisiana, I can't-... I can't stay in there during a storm."

"Alright then... My room, come on." He turned and started to guide Alastor in the opposite direction. He folded his wings in and de-summoned them, as to let Alastor retain his dignity when they passed by the lobby again.

As he was being guided, Alastor didn't once argue or complain, much to the surprise of Lucifer. He actually stayed rather close to the king, ears down, forcing himself to take deep breaths.

When they reached Lucifer's room, there was a flash of lightning, causing Alastor to rush in quickly. Seeing Alastor break character so much was very odd and concerning to the king. For as long as he had known the demon, Alastor had the attitude of someone who was untouchable. And now here he was, shaking, and bleating like a scared fawn.

He sighed, feeling bad for him. He remembered when Charlie would come running into his room scared, during a storm. Back then, he would have scooped her up into his lap, and they would have counted the seconds between the flashes of lightning and the cracking of thunder. And when that didn't work, he'd- Oh there's an idea.

"Alastor?" He started, taking his hat off and setting aside. "You wanna know what I used to do with Charlie when she was scared of storms?" He asked with a smile.

The Radio Demon turned to face him. He was still holding onto that smile, but his eyes showed just how distressed he was. He tilted his head.

Lucifer waved him over, sitting down. "I'll show you, sit down." Alastor approached and sat next to him, willing to try anything at this point to calm his nerves. He set his cane aside and let out a surprised fawn squeak when the king just opened his coat. He was obviously wearing a shirt underneath, but he hadn't expected for Lucifer to touch him.

"It was a little game we'd play. You ready?" Before Alastor could question it, he saw another flash of lighting that made him jump. That was Lucifer's cue to start.

He reached forward and started to scritch his claws against Alastor's sides, up and down. The demon let out a startled yelp, and at first Lucifer thought maybe this was a bad idea. But when the host started to chuckle and lean into it, he smiled and continued.

As thunder rolled and boomed overhead, Lucifer slid his hands upward and spidered over his ribs. Alastor doubled over, laughing harder, yet he barely even noticed the loud noise, only able to focus on the tickling.

Playful claws zipped down and vibrated into his hips, and the radio host couldn't help but curl up and fall onto his side, tail wagging. He squeezed his eyes shut and laughed louder, his own hands shooting down to grab Lucifer's, yet he didn't push him away, seeming to be more than okay with this distraction.

The king gave his hips a break and reached up to gently scritch behind his ears. He couldn't stop the fond smile that painted itself across his face once Alastor's loud laughter melted away into staticky giggles.

Lucifer summoned his wings back and again, and wrapped them around Alastor, pressing them against his back. Alastor normally hated touch, but he welcomed this. It was warm, and the gentle, constant pressure against his back was helping with his anxiety, a lot actually.

When he opened his eyes, he saw Lucifer plucking one of his own feathers. His cheeks warmed and his ears folded back, but he didn't attempt to escape. He just squeezed his eyes shut again, and allowed the angel to flutter it under his chin.

Alastor burst into surprised giggles, shocked at just how ticklish it was. It definitely didn't feel like a normal feather, it was worse.

Lucifer chuckled, "Yeah, angels feathers, they're much more intense than birds." He saw the window flash, and brought the feather down to Alastor's tummy, pushing his shirt up. Right when the thunder started, he started to flick and flutter the feather against his skin, grinning to himself when Alastor jumped and curled up, laughing, gently batting at the king.

Yet he didn't even notice the storm outside.

You are single handedly making my buddie heart float. I need more of your energy in this fandom because quite frankly the takes I’m seeing is very worrisome. They threw Eddie to the side for a white man version of him and I just want my boys together and happy. Am I the only one who thinks Tommy is a plot device ? 😭 Long live Buddie

Oh that’s so sweet of you to say!!! Like I said, could not and would not be me. Buddie is literally everything to me and we’ve been watching them make this beautiful story. They literally made their love from scratch and the show has consistently shown us time and time again that none of their other romantic relationships work. I have to believe it’s all done for a deliberate reason. And this season, all of Buck’s scenes thus far have included Eddie one way or another. He’s either in the scene with Eddie, fixated on Eddie, or talking about Eddie. It’s all Eddie Eddie Eddie. And if that itself isn’t a dead giveaway to where to story is eventually heading, then idk what it is. Tommy is clearly a plot device and he really is so similar to Eddie in a lot of ways. And I’ve mentioned before how I personally think Buck got his wires crossed and he’s confused about the truth of his own feelings. Tommy is new and shiny and he thinks he’s all that. He did the same thing when he met Eddie and realized how cool he was. It’s paralleling them to a t. Not only that but Maddie’s wording when she was talking to Buck when he came out was very telling bc why did she tell him to talk to Eddie when he’s ready. So I’m just riding this storyline out bc I know it’s all meant to be for a specific reason and I’m certain that Tommy will fly away in his helicopter soonish. We still need to get to Eddie dealing with his religious trauma and opening his eyes to the possibility that maybe he’s queer and he’s always been queer. A nice catalyst would be when he finally sees with his own beautiful brown eyes Buck and Tommy together, whether it’s them dancing or kissing or holding hands. I just know a flip will switch in his head and booom, his life will be flipped upside down. So I’m hanging in there and I just know this entire season has been very Buddie heavy and Tim is an evil genius. I believe it’s all planned and it’s slowly coming together!! But we will preserver and Buddie will be the endgame I know it in my heart 💜

plot: It was nighttime and the ancients were looking up at the sky enjoying the silence of the night then they saw a shooting star but they noticed it got closer and closer then BOOOM!!! it crash landed outside of the kingdom. Out of curiosity they decided to go take a look at the crash site and when they got there the last thing they were expecting was a sleeping baby wrapped in a cape with a diamond symbol with a weirdly shaped s on it. So after a bit of looking at the sleeping baby they decided to pick it up and take care of it to make them part of their family because the baby hasn't got any, not around there anyway

Oh, what a lovely little thing Pure Vanilla would've come across! Sure, this odd creature may not be completely cookie, but the innocence stays strong with this one. Within his rebuilt kingdom, he has a nursery created, and despite having many friends to offer to help, he tries to keep the responsibility of taking care of this baby all by himself. He's always wanted to be a father, and even if they might not view him that way later in life, seeing this small child full of life and smile makes it all worth it. He's not perfect though, and often gets confused when the baby cries and he isn't sure how to fix it, so the other Ancients get to help him on that end so he doesn't get too stressed. He just doesn't get why the baby cries after he feeds them fresh milk!

To Hollyberry, she can just see the potential in this young one! Yes, she can raise this baby to be a fine warrior! It'll just take some time since this small child can't even walk yet, but mark her works, one day, they'll be big, strong, and maybe even share a beer with Mama Hollyberry! She'd show this child around her kingdom and bring them for little playdates and admittedly gets a bit too excited when talking about this mysteriously appearing baby. There's more than one occasion where she's woken them up because of her loud voice, but never fear! She'll make sure the baby isn't upset! Hollyberry would also probably give them dragon plushies, so maybe they'd adjust to being around dragons too one day...

There's a strange solemness to being around a child like this when it comes to Dark Cacao. While not very expressive, he knows how to calm and relax a baby just as much as Pure Vanilla does. He can cradle, hum lullabies, and properly feed them, and whatever he can't do, his safe royal advisors can. However, he does have a strict ban on this baby being around any sort of armor and weaponry, the only exception being around his own and his friends' stuff, but even then he has eyes like a hawk. He claims it's just for the child's safety, but we all know the real reason. Dark Cacao has scolded Hollyberry once or twice for taking the baby on spontaneous trips. He doesn't want the baby to disappear on him... He can't lose another kid... Not again...

Golden Cheese does love this adorable little thing, she just has no clue how to properly take care of a baby unless she has help from the other Ancients and her Marzipan servants. She does wish she could help more, she just doesn't have the right skill set. So, she showers this baby with the type of love she has: money. This baby would be absolutely spoiled through Oven and back. New clothes? Check! New toys? Check! Pets, a special bathtime, entertainment? Anything they want, she shall provide! Nothing is ever too expensive for her new child! She also trusts Smoked Cheese, Burnt Cheese, and Mozerella to be her number-one babysitters if she's too busy with the kingdom! Golden Cheese knows they'll treat the baby well!

White Lily is overjoyed to have some fresh dough in her arms. Her soft voice can help get the baby to sleep, singing soft lullabies and keeping the baby safe and calm, even in the most difficult of times. Nothing shall come to harm them, she promises...

The fairies come to help her when they can, and White Lily is very appreciative of them. The fairies adore this child just as much as she does, and they will protect them will all of the magic they have, even if it cracks their dough. White Lily wants to set a good example for this child. She doesn't want them to go down a dark path... Please, don't follow in her footsteps, young one. Bloom into something full of purity.

Sub-Zero Siblings x Movie FNAF AU🐻🐥🦊🐰

I'll start this by saying I'm not a huge FNAF fan. My siblings are super into it and know all the lore and theories and stuff. I, on the other hand, limit myself to the movie, so this is a MOVIE FNAF AU!

With that in mind, know that there will be SPOILERS from the movie!

The (human) characters:

Bi-Han is Mike (Bi-Han struggling to pay rent is multiversal, lmao!)

As Freddie seemed to be the protective one of the group, I thought it would fit with Hanzo's protective nature!

Lisa is Golden Freddie (And Garrett)

Here is the biggest difference from the movie, Lisa will be the dead sibling, but unlike Garrett in the movie, she will become an animatronic! And I consired Golden cause he's the one who interacts with Abby the most!

In this AU, not only Kuai claims to have invisible friends, but also that one of said friends is their long lost sister. Which makes Bi-Han feels much worse cause he thinks because he "failed" in protect his sister, his brother now has to cope by making an imaginary version of her!

Bi-Han then takes the shitty job as a night guard to prevent his annoying evil uncle from taking Kuai from him, and once he gets there, he has the dreams!

He always forces himself to have the same dream, to relive the day his sister was taken, except this time, he sees her among four other kids, he tries to reach out to her, but she doesn't seem to recognise him.

One night he has to take Kuai with him (Cause the damn nanny is not answering the phone-- Bi-Han assumes she gave up showing up and never getting paid and not that Freddie!Hanzo cut her in half💀)

Bi-Han tries his best to reach out to his sister in his dreams, but she keeps running away while the other kids get in his way. When he wakes up his brother is far away yelling, Bi-Han rushes to save him, only to find out Kuai is not in danger at all, he is just having fun with these huge ass animatronics!

And then he realises, these are Kuai's friends! And his sister is one of them. And maybe, just maybe, Kuai would be able to get through the animatronics and convince them let him talk to their sister.

Sareena, the nice cop who shows up rather often, has quite a lot of knowledge of this place history and promptly helped Bi-Han ajust to the new job, had stayed with them that night, she helped them all build a table fort, and as usual was unbothered by everything around her.

It was only when Kuai had a small accident with Cyrax!Bonnie that Sareena started to act more hostile, threatening to shoot Bi-Han if he ever dared bring Kuai again!

Bi-Han tries to reach the kids again, promising to give anything they wanted in exchange for a moment with his sister. He is surprised when Lisa herself comes to talk to him. She tells him he can stay with her, in the picnic with their parents, as long as he lets her bring Kuai too.

Bi-Han says yes without a second thought, but soon realises his mistake, the girl before him is his sister for sure, but there was something about her, something evil. He knew he had made a mistake, he knew Kuai was not safe with her.

Bi-Han manages to save Kuai from the Animatronics, preventing Harumi!Chica from turning him into one of their own.

When they are finally out, Bi-Han is attacked by another Animatronic! This one different from the others, he reveals to be the children’s murderer. Quan Chi, the job counsellor who was very enthusiastic in having Bi-Han take the job.

With Sareena's help, Kuai and Bi-Han help the children out of Quan Chi's control. They turn against him and as the whole pizzaria falls apart they stay to make sure monster doesn't find a way out.

The siblings rush to escape, having only time to spare a glace at the Golden animatronic that holds their sister's soul disappear into the shadows...

I love how the FNAF Fandom has collectively decided the Animatronics are now part of Mike's family, and he sibling-adopted them all, and honestly *stare at My Brother’s Keeper* Bi-Han would most definitely sibling-adopt some demonic children!

So by the end of it, Lisa and the others found their way to Bi-Han and Kuai's new home and live there! Sareena visits them once a week, Kuai and the Animatronics are now on the matchmaking business trying to convince Bi-Han to ask her out! <3

Omg i love this concept

Especially if she has a blatant crush on the older man and ari is somewhat oblivious to it bc he would never believe she'd be into him (he's old and damaged goods, after all)

But Ari works a lot and his ex wife has decided to start a new life with her new bf, meaning she doesnt show any interest in seeing her daughter. So you become a bonus mom to the little girl; you're there every day, spending time with her while Ari works. After a while you start to do more chores around the house too, because she needs naps and you have nothing better to do. So you'll prepare dinner, ensuring you keep it warm until he gets home. You clean up around the house and even start doing the laundry when you notice how it piles up.

And his daughter absolutely adores you. She becomes so attached that she throws a fit if you ever leave or isnt around, which makes Ari suggest they turn one of the spare room into one you can stay in when its needed. You happily accept, frankly his house is a lot nicer than that shitty apartment you share with someone you met on craigslist.

Ari super fucking rich, his house is like a damn mansion, and eventually you end up basically living there. It feels natural for him too, he starts buying you things when he notices how you need them (including a new laptop and phone when he realizes yours werent working, and he knows youll eventually want to study so the laptop is needed) as well as giving you a big raise for all you do.

He actually becomes content. He enjoys coming home to you and his daughter, it makes him feel happy and safe. His buddies tease him about how he needs to get out there and start dating, but part of him just doesnt want to. He isn't sure why.

Everything changes when he runs into you as you're about to leave the house on a saturday night, wearing a short dress and high heels. You look absolutely breathtaking, hair and makeup done beautifully.

Ari stops in his tracks, his heart skipping a beat as he looks at you, "You look beautiful, sweetheart. Where are you off to?"

Your cheeks warm at the compliment, your fingers almost trembling when you nervously adjust the dress. "Oh, uh, I have a date tonight.."

You didnt really want to go but your bestfriend had forced you to because she said you needed to get over your obsession with your employer. You cant keep pining after a man twice your age, she had said. Part of you knew it wasnt healthy since Ari didn't seem to return your feelings, but you couldn't help it. To you, he was the perfect man.

"A date?" Ari feels like he's been dropped into the freezing ocean, his entire body tensing. He didn't know you were dating, although he realizes you have every right to. But he doesn't like the thought. "I didn't realize you had a boyfriend."

"I don't," you hesitate, wide doe eyes meeting the cerulean blue of his, "I-Uh, I don't really want to go, my friend is making me.."

Ari's stance relaxes a little at your words, his tone turning more hopeful, "No? If you don't want to go, you shouldn't have to, honey."

Your teeth dig into your bottom lip at the petname, your cheeks feels like they're burning up as your eyes meet his.

He offers you a soft smile, and it makes butterflies tumble around your tummy, your words a breathy whisper when you say, "I like someone else but I'm not sure they like me back.."

Ari swallows thickly, taking a small step closer, "So you're going to forget about this other person?"

You nod timidly, your heart pounding in your chest when he steps even closer, the clean familiar scent of him enveloping you. His hair falls in cascades around his face, the light blue shirt he's wearing have the top three buttons open, revealing some of the dark curly hair adorning his chest.

"Don't you think that's a good idea?" You whisper nervously, inhaling deeply when the smell of him makes your mind swim.

Ari watches you for a moment, his eyes bouncing between yours, and then it's like what happens next is a blur.

His hand grips your waist, pulling you towards him and making you stumble into his chest, one arm wrapping around your waist as he cups your cheek with one large paw of a hand.

His head tilts down to look at you, guiding your face upwards to meet his before he whispers, "text your friend and let her know that you're not going anywhere tonight."

And then he pulls you to him, his beard scratching your skin when his lips glide over yours in a possessive kiss.

Cale Just Wants to Be a Slacker

Cale idly sipped a cup of tea while watching the night sky from his position on a rooftop. Stars twinkled in an unfamiliar pattern, unlike the few ones he could watch on earth during a short break or a sleepless night.

Boom.

Cale sometimes wonders how his old world is doing. It has been years now since he has been swapped with Kim Rok Soo, previously known as Cale Henituse, and Cale sometimes just thinks about old things he misses or doesn’t miss.

“Ah! Stop-Stop them!”

“Help!”

Taking another sip of his slowly cooling tea, Cale quietly sighed.

He doesn’t want to go back as he found a family here and Kim Rok Soo also made earth his home, there would be no place for Cale Henituse. However, Cale can’t shake the feeling that something went disastrously wrong.

Crash. Boom.

He just wants to be a slacker and enjoy all the money he ‘earned’, only sometimes leaving his cozy mansion when the kids want to travel for a bit. Cale did his part by disposing of the white radish and his god complex alongside an actual god.

“Ah! No! Plea-please, have mercy.”

Crash.

Cale didn’t react much when Ron arrived next to the redhead. The butler bowed and wordlessly filled Cale’s empty teacup with fresh tea. A sticky substance dyed the sleeves of Ron’s uniform red. The butler noticed his glance and smiled ruefully.

“This Ron is sorry to present such a dirty picture. A rat got away, I’m afraid, and in my haste to clean up the mess I must have gotten some filth on my clothes.”, the butler’s benign smile looked as vicious as always.

Cale idly sipped his tea, hiding a grimace when the sour taste of lemon hit his taste buds.

“Not a fox?”

Ron set down the teapot carefully on a side table they prepared beforehand.

“A fox? No, they are nothing more than some sewer rats and this Ron can’t let them remain in the same city as the young master. How could I be a good butler if I let such pests run wild?”

Booom. Crash. Bang.

The butler left Cale to his thoughts again and gracefully jumped down from the roof. Cale watched him go with a stoic expression on his face and set the teacup aside. His elegant fingers started playing with the hem of his sleeves as the chaos below unfolded.

PLEASE keep talking about your jo/zoey thoughts romantic or platoniccccc i love ur takes on them as a dynamic and as characters... there was no reason for them not to interact post merge (well we all know s4 hated their girls but thats besides the point). the jock who hates girly girls and the girly girl who hates jocks just seems like such a set up for an opposites attract friendship or at least SOMETHING yk. i think zoey would be nice enough to at least try to comfort jo and ughhhhh them both forming solid female friendships is such a thing. and they both realize theyre not as shallow as they both initially thought the other was.

I think you could at least excuse them not interacting in s4 if all stars rose to the occasion and didn’t put all the “good people” on one team and the “bad people” on the other. like imagine if jo actually made it further in all stars to follow up on her incomplete arc regarding her body issues and gender dysphoria (like seriously!!! if anything I think they would be aggravated after her body is mocked on international tv). and then imagine zoey gets put on the opposite team to mike and cam (who I actually love as a trio but you can’t deny it stagnated a lot of zoeys growth by having her only seem to interact with them…) and is forced to find new allies.. BOOOM jo and zoey alliance that ends with them becoming unlikely friends/gfs!!! It writes itself!!! Esp how it would make sense given u could keep the heather vs jo plotline but not completely waste jo’s character and actually have her seek credible allies against her instead of.. whatever that was :/ AND I think AS would be a great place to explore zoeys commando persona aka giving her a villain arc set on by her becoming closer w/ jo, who is much more comfortable playing mean n dirty. I actually love her commando arc in the last few episodes but I read ur tags on a lot of posts and I do agree it deeeefinitely could’ve had some more build up even before mike got sent home. Let her be mean!!! Let her be aggressive!!!! All stars why didn’t you do anything with her it drives me crazyyyyy this wpuldve been the perfect opportunity for jo to actually take interest in zoey after seeing what she can do after being pushed over the edge (literally n figuratively) and pursue her as any ally CAN ANYONE HEAR ME

"One night Slash and I went out to the Rainbow, a restaurant next to the Roxy on Sunset that was famous as a rock-and-roll hangout. They gave us a booth. This was a new level of deference. A booth! At the Rainbow! As we proceeded to get blasted, a really big, drunk guy wandered over to our table. Though he looked like an overgrown hick, he was in fact the guitar player from a band considered quite big just then — much bigger than Guns. He addressed himself to Slash:

'N*****s shouldn’t wear tattoos,' he said.

What? Was this his idea of a joke or something?

He wasn’t laughing.

I stood up.

'What the fuck did you say to my friend?'

'You heard me. N*****s shouldn’t wear tattoos.'

"Slash: [Sam Kinison and I] got into a really big fight. It was real violent, and Duff punched him out, the cops were involved, too, and it was a big deal.

Stern: Who won the fight though? Who could beat up who? I bet you could take Sam in two seconds.

Slash: Well, no. He actually – I don’t want to... Duff punched him out. He gave him a black eye. But, before that, he was sitting on me. And I had no way of getting out, because he had my elbows pinned down. I couldn’t get my arms up, you know?

Stern: How did he get you down on the floor?

Slash: He jumped me from the blue and just landed on my chest. I was gonna be dead. He was choking me. I was history. I was, like, sitting there going, 'I’m going out this way? I can't believe I’m gonna go out this way.'

He just showed up at my hotel room one night. I didn’t even – you know, a knock on the door and, like, it’s Sam, and I’m like, 'Okay.'

And so he got on my case about all this stuff, and he called me a dickhead. And I got pissed off and I jumped off the bed, and I didn’t expect him to react the way he did. And I turned my back – you know, I turned around for a second – and he just jumped on me.

He got me by the throat and my arms were underneath his knees. And I was like, 'Oh, this is it. I’m going out.'

Robin: And then Duff came to the rescue.

Slash: Then Duff woke up in the other room.

Stern: Hey, you owe Duff, man. I’ll tell you, that’s kind of funny, too. And leave it to Sam to jump Slash from behind. I mean, that is a low blow. That’s not right.

Slash: I was just this little guy with no clothes on. I mean, cuz I was in bed when he came."

The first quote is from Duff's autobiography, obviously. The "big, drunk guy" in question was Chris Holmes of the band W.A.S.P. Slash's autobio (2007) recounts the incident somewhat differently:

"One time at the Rainbow I got into a fight with Chris Holmes from W.A.S.P. Duff overheard Chris saying that n*****s shouldn’t play guitar. He didn’t say it to me, but it was obviously about me. As I remember, Duff told me about it later and the next time I saw Chris I went up to confront him and he took off running. Aside from insulting me, it’s one of the more ridiculous and untrue things a musician, of all people, could ever possibly say."

Aside from the obvious discrepancies in their versions of events (pretty much par the course for rocker autobios... Chris Holmes has shared his own take as well and rest assured it's very different), it's interesting to compare how they described their responses. Slash glosses over the fight entirely, he almost makes it sound like he was going to "confront" Holmes by giving him a lecture on the history of rock music – the last sentence is by far the most emotionally charged.

Duff's account is just shy of a brag, his sense of righteousness is evident. Fighting is a significant theme in his book, Duff chronicles his journey from scrapping with school bullies, to drunkenly picking fights, to discovering martial arts in sobriety:

"Those beatings were also probably a factor in why later I would see red every time I perceived a wrong done to me or someone close to me and would fight at the drop of a dime. Justifiably or not, I saw myself as the protector, and the street-fighting skills I was forced to learn while getting my ass kicked as a teenager meant that I was not reluctant to perform that role with my fists."

"From then on, I wanted to kill anyone who crossed me at any club or concert. In my mind I was still fighting for righteous reasons—not just to hurt people but to protect, to make bullies stop doing bad things. But it’s pretty clear in retrospect that I was taking out aggression about the situation with the band. I would find offense in the stupidest little things and then I’d just flip and go street."

Slurs aren't a trivial offense, but we can see how Duff's protectiveness has been both a strength and weakness at times. In this scenario, Slash is "someone close," and Duff is eager to assume the role of his protector.

The second passage is in excerpt from an unaired interview (1990) transcribed in Mick Wall's biography of GNR, a secondary source. (That is, the more recent biography he wrote about GNR, not the one that supposedly earned him a scathing mention in UYI II's Get In The Ring.)

Anyway, Duff was a little less eloquent in 1990, but the pride he takes in standing up for himself and his friends is consistent. He mentions a time he defended Slash against an aggressor, and I wonder if the incident with Chris Holmes is the one he's referring to. Whether it was the same event or a different one, Duff's statements in this interview are certainly in line with the behavior he described in his book.

Slash's sarcastic comment made me laugh – I couldn't say for certain if he meant it in good (or self-deprecating) humor, or if he was getting a little miffed by the way Duff was characterizing him as someone who needs defending. I also included his last line because it seemed to me like he was trying to change the subject – while Duff could have happily gone on, perhaps Slash was conscious of playing into the dumb drunk rocker stereotype, something both of them have a history of struggling against. He’s also conspicuously not jumping at the chance to chime in and tell the world what he’ll do if anyone tries to mess with them.

The third excerpt might call for a little more context: Sam Kinison was a comedian and a friend of Slash's who passed away shortly before this interview. Earlier in the interview, Slash described how he was supposed to make a guest appearance in one of his shows, and Kinison didn't take it well when he had to cancel.

This incident was never talked about much — as far as I know Duff never publicly shared his version of events — but another guest (comedian Andrew Dice Clay) on the Stern show recounted a phone call with Duff about the incident prior to Slash's interview:

"So, he's choking him to death, and the girl that Duff is with wakes Duff up, and she goes, 'I'm not sure, but I think somebody's killing Slash.'"

I wonder if the girl was the same one who was with him in Duff's chat with Howard Stern from around the same time. Slash said it happened in San Francisco, Clay said it happened at the Chateau Marmont in L.A., and Duff didn't specify, but I wouldn't put money on the accuracy of that detail in any of their accounts.

Anyway, this excerpt is a little different than the other two. It has less to do with Duff's protector complex — instead we can examine the way that Slash talks about a fight, where in the previous examples he tended to dodge the subject.

I edited the excerpt for readability (and I made pretty significant cuts, so click the link above if you want the full picture), but this was an interesting conversation all around. It's a bit awkward, because while Slash and Stern are ostensibly sharing memories of their mutual friend, Kinison is clearly the antagonist in Slash's story. Slash didn't really react much to Howard Stern's enthusiastic assertions that Slash could take Kinison in a fair fight, and while he made a point of explaining that he was caught off guard, he seems pretty content to tell the story as it was: he got his ass kicked.

The way Slash talks about himself ("just a little guy with no clothes on"!) leads me to believe that his comment about "[hiding] in the crook of [Duff's] knee" in the Wall interview was meant as a self-deprecating joke. He seems comfortable characterizing himself as harmless and nonaggressive, perhaps even uncomfortable with the idea of playing up his prowess.

Slash doesn't mention too many altercations in his book, but he does describe one friendly brawl with Nikki Sixx:

“[...] but I do remember doing what I always liked to do when I was drunk—wrestle some guy who was much bigger than me. In this case it was Nikki, whom I tackled, bar stool and all, out of nowhere. Nikki is pretty tall, and at that time he was pretty heavy, too, so he ended up turning it around: he slammed me on my back and sat on me.”

He goes on to explain how he passed out and woke up to find that he'd "dislocated four vertebrae in his back" and, to add insult to injury, he got teabagged by Tommy Lee.

Obviously we're working with a small sample size here, but like with Duff, we're starting to get a consistent picture. Slash's tales of getting into fights are distinctly lacking a certain rock-n-roll bravado. His accounts aren't very serous, he comes across as terrible in a physical fight and he doesn't seem to care.

All of this isn't necessarily to say that Slash didn't get in fights – just because he doesn't like talking about it, doesn't mean it didn't happen. But he's also made it pretty clear that he doesn't consider himself a violent person.

“I hate violence. At our shows, people hit each other and throw things, and I don’t know why. I love the energy of it, but everyone needs to be considerate of those around them, and that usually doesn’t happen.”

I don't have a source for that quote, so take it with a grain of salt if you choose. Either way, you get the picture. Slash is an image-conscious guy, yes, but he's not overly into fighting (or arguing, or yelling... but that's another set of quotes) and he doesn't try to pretend to be. It's not an image he's actively trying to project (perhaps one he's trying to avoid?) — but in some ways it's one he was labeled with anyway, thanks to GNR's reputation.

Clearly I have a lot of thoughts on this, but I'm going to put a pin in it here because honestly, I think it would be pretty presumptuous to try to make too strong of a claim about the personalities of two real people that I don’t know based on just a handful of quotes (from questionably reliable narrators...). All I’m trying to do here is show a pattern, and to point out the contrast between the respective ways that Slash and Duff view/talk about physical conflict.

When Duff talks about fighting, it's important to him: he fought to deal with his emotions, he fought to protect the people he cares about, and he fought to get sober. When Slash talks about fighting, he laughs, makes a self-deprecating comment, and brushes it off. Duff wants to project that he’s more than capable of defending himself and others, Slash prefers to distance himself from the topic. It's interesting to see this juxtaposition in their relationship, and the way it translates into Duff acting protective of Slash.
