Scarily enough, my mom actually did find out. I dont think she knows I still like it, because now when she talks about it, she talks about it like it was just a weird thing I liked years ago as a child (I also literally can never stand to hear her mention it, it's so embarrassing.)
Back when I was still a kid, my mom was still in college, and when her laptop died, she came into my room to ask to borrow my tablet. The same tablet I had just hidden under my pillow because I was "reading." She was like, "[Bimo] I know you were up on your tablet, and I'm not even mad, I just need to borrow it for an assignment." And I reluctantly gave it to her, knowing what she'd find, so after 10 minutes go by, I hear her come back to my room. So I pretend to be asleep, and she comes in, I hear her set my tablet down, and she whispered "I love you."
And it was just never mentioned again, we didn't talk about it, I think she knew I was embarrassed, but I also think she understood, "Its not hurting them, theres no reason to bring it up."
Years later, I accidentally sent her fanart I had saved and she saw it right before I could delete it, and I went, "Can we just agree not to talk about that?" and she goes, "I was already going to do that."
Guys I've slipped up twice now

It makes sense that they would though, laughing in response to tickling is thought to be a defense mechanism, and that tickling was developed as a way for humans to instinctively protect their vital organs and important blood vessels (swatting at whoever/whatever is tickling you, and curling up to protect vulnerable areas like the tummy, which is soft and not really protected)
I need to know what tickle talk is like in other languages for...reasons.
So far I know:
Kille Kille (German, literally means kill)
Guili Guili (French. Tickle tickle)
Gouzi-Gouzi (French. Gouge out)
And I need MOAR.
Also I freaking love how so far, other languages seem to relate tickling to something dangerous, and I'm thriving off that fact.
