sometimes i think about why big hero 6 died off. i obviously don't know the exact reasons for sure. but every reason i can land on is its diversity. the reason people didn't latch onto it as hard, the reason disney didn't market the series properly even though the movie won best animated picture of 2014...there was one white man in their main cast and he wasn't one of the smart ones. consciously or not i think fandom culture and disney execs didn't like that.

Nobody:
Literally Nobody:
Me: What if the reason in-universe why Major Blast takes place after Fred the Fugitive is bc Mrs. Frederickson heard about the SFPD hunting down and arresting Fred and she was so worried of it happening again so she decided to bust out the old Major Blast persona and test Fred’s superhero skills so she’d be less worried her kid was going to get arrested

The line "(being invisible)'s strange, perhaps, but it's not a crime. Why am I assaulted by a policeman in this fashion?" has the same energy as "Oh I see how it is, something goes missing and the first thing you do is blame the monster!" both in AND out of context, further proving my Griffin-Spot-Globby theory.

Back to the Future is on the TV, so my thought currently is BttF/BH6 crossover
Hiro gets sent back in time, was angling to stop his brother from dying but accidentally gets sent back too far to when Obake, Wendy and Trevor were still attending, shenanigans ensue
Hiro is torn between stopping the bad stuff that happens to these three and not totally screwing up the timeline
Also isn’t sure what to make of pre-explosion Obake they get along well and that makes him uncomfortable
Obake, when he learns of time-travel: this is great!  We can go back to like, 1905 and meet Lenore Shimamoto!  Or 1906 and get City Rises before it disappears...wait is that how it disappears?
Hiro, knowing what Obake eventually does with his information on Shimamoto: UHHHHHH the time machine only has limited uses, sorry.
Obake is still an imp pre-explosion and is more than happy to help stop the snitching of Wendy’s paper
Wendy still forms the Woweroos thanks to Hiro blurting that out and her cottoning onto the idea
Time machine probably ends up looking like the one from Meet the Robinsons not sure if Hiro could get his hands on a DeLorean or even if he knows how to drive a car so....
Granville is milder no-nonsense and Obake is amused by the way Hiro keeps scurrying away from both her and Professor Callaghan
Hiro, when asked: UHHHHHH he turns evil in like, twenty years
Obake: I knew it

Given that we know the Owl House is on the left and “Big Hero 6″ involved a portal too, who knows. ;)

Patching holes in Descendants lore - the origins of Auradon
I think we all agree that the Disney movies didn’t and couldn’t have happened all in the same era and are based in different areas (although it’s hard to dermine which ones in some cases, like Agrabah or the mix-and-match that is Kumandra), not to mention the multiple iteration of places like, say, London.
How to explain this in canon? I have a few theories, based on actual Disney events, feel free to pick one:
Cinderella 3: when Lady Tremaine used the wand to reverse time, she messed with time-space, which led to a mixup of worlds.
Sophia the First: when the amulet of Avalor was broken and Elena was freed, all the energy it used to channel the princesses so Sophia could meet them released and messed up the world, so everything merged in a single time.
Disenchanted: when Giselle’s wish died down it still had some aftereffects on all the fairytales’ worlds, copying the technology from our world but also pulling places distant in time and space all together (this is possibly my favourite theory).
Theory 1 makes a lot of sense, tbh, because it erases all the sequels except, in fact, Cinderella 3, while being a clean-cut explanation. It, unfortunately, doesn’t explain the technological advancement that is wildly beyond any Disney canon (save for Big Hero 6, but BH6 is even forth so that doesn’t work either). This could also explain why such a severe sentence was picked for Lady Tremaine (she stole the wand, petrified Fairy Godmother, broke important laws of magic, tricked the royals...), although it doesn’t work for Anastasia who, instead, redeemed herself a lot in that very movie.
The Sophia world is the only one that implies all the stories happened for real in the same world as she has Merlin, Flora, Fauna and Merryweather as teachers; (provided they’re immortal or nearly so, meaning they could have outlived their charges and went on teaching new generations of young royals) and references directly to the official princesses up to the 2018 lineup. But Sophia’s world has lots and lots of other kingdoms and it would poise logistic problems in storytelling because it’s hard to make it all fit (but if you know the series well, unlike me, you can make it work).
Personally, I’d go with Disenchanted: Andalasia was a fairytale world with unknown neighbours (to us, but Giselle heard of dwarves’ hospitality and other stuff...), separated by magic borders or just too distant from each other, some of those could be homes of stories from roughly the same era (I suppose we can consider Rapunzel and Frozen as a pair, the Little Mermaid could fit in the same times as Cinderella, while Snow White, Aladdin, Mulan and Sleeping Beauty belong to an older era, Pochaontas and Princess and the Frog must be of different eras, and so on...). The wish pulled everything together and they all had to navigate the situation from there on, inheriting the technology from our world but keeping the original stories.
Most importantly, in all cases, it pulled back the dead Villains. Or it pulled some and those ones figured out they could revive others to form an army to control the new world. Anyway, here’s the origins of Auradon as a composite land.
In another post I put together the info we have on other matters (excluding, for obvious reasons, Pocketwatch, which can’t and won’t be considered canon) such as the beginning of Auradon Prep or the supposed war against the Villains so I won’t repeat it all here.
As far as this post goes, I suppose we can say that this explains many of the plot holes and incongruencies, including the mention of Merida having been an Auradon Prep student in the last book.

Okay, everyone, time for some Luisabi ship dynamics and headcanons!!
For @frie-ice
I love their slight height difference because Wasabi is 6'4" and Luisa is 6'5", meaning that she is an inch taller than him, and I am here for it! Wasabi needs a girl taller than he is!
Luisa's birthday is November 14th, making her a Scorpio, which makes absolute sense! Scorpios are a water sign and are emotional and sensitive. They may be caring, but they are also easily hurt and depressed. This sensitivity can affect their emotional and physical lives. They don't open up easily or let their guard down because they are scared of being hurt. But exclusively, it makes sure they stay strong and makes them great judges of character. They are Resourceful, powerful, brave, passionate, and true friends.
Now I have a theory about the date of Wasabi's birthday, and it involves an episode of BH6: The Series. There was an episode of BH6: The Series called "Steamer's Revenge," and it was about Hiro and the others planning the ultimate birthday surprise for Wasabi to recover his car from the bottom of the bay, but their villain, Baron Von Steamer, was back with a vengeance. The episode's air date was September 22, 2018.
So yes, because it was Wasabi's birthday in that episode, I like to believe that September 22 is also the date of his birthday. Now get this, if Wasabi's birthday is September 22nd, that would make him a Virgo, which absolutely fits his character. Virgos are an earth sign known for their intelligence, analytical skills, perfectionism, hard work, reliability, and problem-solving abilities. They are also known for being critical and pointing out mistakes. Because of their natural elegance and poise, they emit serenity and calm. They are funny and sharp, and they often have a very dry wit. They notice the small stuff and pay attention to the details; they remember everything you ever said to them.
Virgo and Scorpio are compatible signs. They have many common personality traits and can complement each other. They are both goal-oriented, practical, mysterious, and empathetic. They can also have a strong karmic connection and passionate intimacy. There are very strong ties between this couple, and intense mutual loyalty creates their strongest bond. These two can be extremely comfortable in each other’s company, shutting out the rest of the world and enjoying each other for hours (or days) on end—just the two of them. They’re both in it for the long haul, so this can be a long-term match for sure.
Virgo is ruled by quick-moving Mercury, making them good, logical communicators. Scorpio is co-ruled by powerful Mars and transformational Pluto, so verbal (and nonverbal) interactions between them can be extremely intense. Virgo is slow to make decisions, contemplating each little detail before making up their mind, and cautious, suspicious Scorpio is on board with this strategy as well. As a couple, they tend to take their time when making important long-term decisions, which strengthens their relationship in the long run.
Since Wasabi is allergic to every known breed of dog, Luisa insisted that they get a pet baby donkey instead.
Wasabi's surname is No-Ginger in my headcanon; he was born to a Korean American woman with the surname No, also spelled as Noh. No is a Korean surname that means "field" or "wilderness." His father is an African American man of English ancestry with the surname Ginger. So, his parents hyphenated.
Wasabi is fluent in Spanish, so he'll have no problem conversing with his Latina girlfriend whenever she decides to dip into Spanglish.
They are both very, not so secretly protective of each other.
Since both Luisa and Wasabi can easily succumb to stress and pressure, they do couples yoga together. Luisa was really nervous that she'd mess up practicing a lot of the poses with Wasabi when he was teaching her. But luckily, she has such a supportive boyfriend, and he made learning yoga fun and relaxing for her.
Couples' yoga is the practice of yoga poses that involve two people supporting each other physically and emotionally. It can improve flexibility, balance, strength, communication, trust, and intimacy in a relationship. Couples' yoga can range from simple breathing exercises and stretches to challenging acrobatic poses and inversions that require coordination and teamwork and can be practiced in any setting that is comfortable and safe for both partners, such as a yoga studio, a park, a beach, or a home.
Wasabi always makes sure that Luisa doesn't overexert herself to the point where her stress causes her eye to twitch. Stress can cause certain hormones to be released, which can affect the nerves and muscles of the eyelid. So, he helps her with some self-care exercises and makes her tea. And he always makes sure that she doesn't degrade herself by calling herself names like loser, so he builds her up by complimenting her all the time.
Despite all of Wasabi's self-care exercises, the man does not practice what he preaches. All of his poise goes out the window when he's having an OCD episode. An OCD episode is a period when your OCD symptoms are more severe. OCD symptoms include obsessions, unwanted thoughts, images, or urges, and compulsions—repetitive behaviors or mental acts that cause anxiety or distress. OCD episodes can be triggered by anything that causes anxiety or stress.
Luisa helps Wasabi whenever an episode happens by learning the signs, not enabling them, and using positive communication. Luisa listens with empathy, compassion, and avoids criticizing or judging him. She knows that it may take time for Wasabi to overcome his fears and resist his compulsions. But she doesn’t pressure him to stop or change his behavior, as this may make him feel more anxious or guilty.
Wasabi introduced Luisa to 4 2 Sing, and she is now just as big a fan as he is.
They love to go dancing together.
Luisa has the working yarn wrapped around her hands as she helps Wasabi maintain the right tension and speed while he knits. (It is called assisted knitting or team knitting.)
Tumblr media
(Literal mental image.)
Welp, that's all I've got for now. I'll most definitely make another headcanon list for them in the future.

What's In The Box? (KH Spec)
in KH3 & KHUX, the Master of Masters (MoM) tasks Luxu with lugging around a big, fancy black box.
MoM never tells Luxu (or ANYONE) what's actually IN this box... but Maleficent decided it (& its Assumed Connection to MoM's Book Of Prophecies?) was worth the effort of... stalking Sora & his enemies for multiple games, spectating on the latest Keyblade War, and, presumably, tricking some Keyblade Wielder (Kairi, maybe?) into Opening The Box for her.
KH3 namedrops Pandora's Box & the Chest of Davy Jones outright: Pandora's Box has two variant contents, Davy Jones' Chest holds his heart (& his heartbreak).
KH3 also, indirectly, reminds players of IRL 'Black Boxes' by using datacubes in the BH6 World, referencing memory chips, backups & data throughout the level. Datacubes & the corruption thereof first appeared in KH re:Coded, a game featuring a Data Riku (bearing KH1 Riku's likeness) being preyed upon by Maleficent (she & her connections to Riku are Important to this theory).
There is an IRL kind of Black Box which, like the Baymax memory chip, acts as the protective case of a Backup Copy of a plane's movements & data entries so that, in the event of disaster, the Black Box will survive & serve as a record of everything that happened.
THAT kind of 'Black Box' is invoked in KHUX with its 'Data Daybreak Town'. It's also likely that the Lost Masters Luxu summoned at KH3's end were retrieved from a similar data backup.
The MoM's Black Box, however, predates KHUX entirely: so what's in HIS box?
I suspect that the Box contains something that is all these boxes COMBINED (remember that Pandora's Box has 2 variants):
a black box built to Survive Disaster, Containing Records & Data Thereof.
the Chest of Davy Jones, a box holding the Human Heart of an Immortal... and his heartbreak with it.
a Pandora's Box that kept all of Humanity's Innate Goodness, the opening of which doomed humanity to corruption & sin. One 'Good' remained in the Box & with Humanity: 'Hope'.
a Pandora's Box that kept all Evils from the world, the opening of which doomed humanity to mortality, war, famine, etc. The only 'Evil' left in the box? Hope.
Yes, depending on the version of the Pandora Myth you're reading, 'Hope' is seen as a remaining virtue OR as a cruel 'gift'.
The MoM named each of his six pupils for one of the Seven Deadly Sins ('Evils', if you will). These pupils became known as the 'Lost Masters'. None of these pupils are named for 'Pride', generally understood to be the 'worst/heaviest' Sin: the absence implies that MoM himself is 'Pride'.
Incidentally, there is one readable word engraved on MoM's Box: 'super'. Following the naming conventions of the Lost Masters ('Luxu' = 'Lust', in latin) this translates to that missing sin, 'Pride'.
Considering that the Black Box is the MoM's, I speculate that it contains HIS heart: this makes Additional Sense for KH because Disney's Snow White features this 'heart in a box' concept... and, in BBS, the role of Huntsman was assigned to TERRA (which he, obvs, did not do). Terra DID, however, end up 'stealing' a heart later on... the heart of Aurora, as in Disney's Sleeping Beauty, and as tricked by MALEFICENT (oh look, here she is again, how INTERESTING).
What's Inside The MoM's Heart?
Well, following the premise of Davy Jones, MoM's mortality... and his capacity for love. Given that the MoM lead his pupils toward CIVIL WAR, standing by as this war repeated itself not only in KHUX but in Dark Road and in BBS AND IN KH3-
yeah, it makes sense that this guy has survived his immortality via being incapable of genuine compassion.
(there is also the possibility that he's outlived all these generations of keyblade wielders due to getting trapped/hopping over to UnReality, blissfully helpless to Those Wars He Instigated... buuut this theory assumes his Conveniebnt Absence & his Prophecies of [Ragnarok] were Deliberate)
I am Assuming A Lot about MoM's abilities: that he is immortal, that he can conceal his presence, that he is a He, that he is a form of Nobody, that he not only COULD but DID witness every iteration of the Keyblade War in the KH series. That seeing that war & its tragedies repeat is WHY that war keeps happening.
My theory is that MoM's Heart, safe in its Box (until Maleficent manages to open it/use it as blackmail), is MoM's "backup": his memories and love and despair from an Even Earlier Keyblade War, one where Darkness and the person who became MoM were the ONLY survivors.
No Dandelions. No MoM "and his best friend". No "lost, separated but not forever". No "True Love's Sacrifice" and DEFINITELY no "time-travel fix-it where No One Dies (except Xehanort & Sora, kind of)".
Just MoM. And Darkness.
...and THAT'S why MoM keeps setting generation after generation up for Ragnarok. THAT'S why MoM showed himself to Xehanort (who helped avert HIS generation's War, if not its Tragedy), why MoM was so DELIGHTED to discover Sora (& Riku): SORA ESCAPED HIS TRAGIC FATE.
MoM's Plan(s)
Sora (& Riku & Kairi) have proven that it is POSSIBLE to Change Destiny, to have Everyone Live.
So, naturally, MoM needs to test Sora (& Riku) AGAIN, in a controlled experiment, to figure out "How" KH3's ending was possible... and if it can be REPLICATED.
The x-blade is an additional factor in MoM's efforts to recreate the Keyblade War as he lived it, changing players & adding variables to figure out how (& 'where') Things Go Wrong.
If MoM hails from the FIRST Keyblade War, where Kingdom Hearts itself summoned the x-blade to protect itself yet ultimately cut its losses to prevent Darkness triumphing entirely... then Sora's 'Ultima' keyblades, his Nobody's ability to dual-wield, his 'Combined Keyblade' with Riku? These are all VERY INTERESTING to MoM!
Look at the previous attempts to summon or artificially forge the x-blade:
collecting 'Lux' (Unions, failure)
posession by Darkness (Baldr, failure)
Xehanort (experiment ongoing)
cutting a heart into 'Light' and 'Darkness' then having them Fight (Ventus, partial success)
the keyblade war in BBS (failure)
Whatever That Original Nobody Experiment with Ansem Was (..?)
multiple layers of possession of a Chosen Host, collecting the Hearts of Worlds & the Seven Lights, etc (MoM's Note to Future Self: "That Fairy Might Be Onto Something")
Roxas dual-wielding (???)
Xion dual-wielding (!!!)
Whatever The Heck Xemnas Was Up To in KH2 (fai-)
Sora & Riku's Boss Fight with Xemnas (-PARTIAL SUCCESS!)
Data Hearts..? (MoM's Underlined Note to Self: "KEEP EYE ON MALEFICENT")
Sora & Riku's Hijacked Mark of Mastery Exam (PROOF OF CONCEPT! req. further testing)
KH3 (...failure WAIT WHAT'S HAP-)
KH 2.9 (???)
Sora's Hijacking of the Aqua Rescue Mission (success??)
KH3's 2nd/3rd Keyblade War (SUCCESS: ISOLATING VARIABLES FOR FOCUSED TESTING)
quadratum (experiment ongoing)
MoM's Goal?
replicate results of Sora (& Riku?) testing of 99% survival rate & successful x-blade utilization in 1st KBW. save everyone. win.
Or, in Other Words...
learn method of summoning x-blade & replicate method for personal use via proxie (Yozora)
return to the origin story of KH's universe, the First Keyblade War (memories preserved in MoM's heart, a touchstone between Then & Now)
change what was destined to be a tragedy: unchain fate (overwrite ancient history)
everyone survives to build a new, brighter world (return heart to body)
...and the future, that Sora & his friends are from? Erased from Ever Existing in the first place. (pandora's box: saving the past at the cost of the future)

Hi, I’m Toi
This will be a small posting acc just like my time in Wattpad. I may be genre towards fanfics of Genshin mainly, but I’m always happy to try out something new once for awhile.
About me:
I am a highschool student that enjoys music, anime shows, fanfics/stories, and journaling!
Once primarily write fanfics in Wattpad from my obsession of Big Hero 6. Stopped when I got to Highschool. But im editing an unpublished chapter of one atm! (If you have recognized me by my user, then you may have probably know my old introduction in my BH6 oneshot book)
From the previous point, I may look like I’m very well versed in writing. Well that’s because I write the pain away! Sad but it’s relieving with a stroke of a pen, or perhaps the flick of the wrist typing.
Actually I tend to have many ideas like what you see in shoujo anime. It’s a close relation, but also that’s mainly what I grew up since. So I’m quite grateful it’s getting some recommendations.
Present me:
I’ve been reading a lot of fanfics lately in this app more than Wattpad since it shows various scenarios than just having to look through every book and topic writes focuses on.
The sub genres I liked was
SAGAU (Self Aware Genshin AU)
Genshin fluff
Kingdom Hearts Union X player theories
I was thinking of starting my writing acc here much earlier. But I didn’t have any writing ideas to start with. I kind of do now but it will take awhile for me to adjust.
So I hope I can start off with some ideas I wanna throw at!
SAGAU Imposter god but maybe a focus on the fake god.
Nahida and Scaramouche lessons with the Aranara headcannons (+traveller)
KHUx player OC stories
Music scenarios I recommend listening to
Perhaps some more OCs and OC lore!

what if i just delete every big hero 6 post i've ever made? haha just kidding... unless?
idk just genuinely upset that i never see notes for anything else i post. i know some people might not think it but my headcanons/theories/what-ifs are my form of being writer on this app and it sucks knowing that nobody cares about my creative content.
if you like my other content, please reblog it so other people can see it. even if it is related to bh6, reblog my older posts that i put work into, not these recent ones ("theyre siblings your honour" and "covid hc" posts- also hate that these posts have gotten controversial to some people) that i thought of in a few minutes.
like don't get me wrong the covid one had a bit of effort and i genuinely like it but jeez i have more than that, i am more than that
but it'd be especially nice if you guys noticed that i'm a multifandom blog and have made things for a bunch of other stuff too.

Now I understand what's going on between Tuffnut from HTTYD and Fred BH6 in my mind (or rather what made me like them, they're really similar characters in theory while being completely different and give me adhd-codedness). And they're both voiced by T. J. Miller.

I was busy thinking 'bout in the parents of Hiro and Tadashi... so I created a theory.
Hiro said in the film that he lost your parents when he had 3 years old, but now he has 14 years old.
Still in the film, according to Disney, the year in what Big Hero 6 takes place is 2032, so we can say that Hiro was born in 2018.
If he lost his parents with 3 years, this means that your parents died in 2020, that was the PANDEMIC!
Was it???
My head needs to rest-

Okay,theory time-
Nega Globby isn't naturally sentiant,it's,for lack of a better word, possessed by the thing it got it's eye from!Let me explain.
Originally,Nega Globby was just a mass of chemicals bent on absorbing things and getting bigger. That is,until it absorbed one of the eyes from whatever that thing was.Instead of the eye fully decomposing or whatever you call it and adding to Nega Globby's mass,it stayed in it.It also brought about a few changes, like its forming of a mouth and him taking a more humanoid form.It also gained the ability to change what it's made out of,at least I'm going to assume that it gained it because there's no other way it would really make sense that it can given how he was made.
The most important thing to note, however,is the abrupt change in goals that he had.Instead of attempting to add to it's mass,it started trying to destroy San Fransokyo. The only possible catalyst for that change had to have been the eye.
And yes, possession is a pretty far stretch, but Nega Globby has actually done it themself by controlling Globby in 'the Globby within'.Not to mention Big Hero 6 the Series is Sci-fi,making this less of a stretch if there could be an explanation provided for how an eye could take control over a mass of chemicals.
Anyways, the New Nega Globby could prove this right or I just wasted my time,so I'm even more scared now~

hold onto your hats!, BH6 season 2 mid season finale episodes 6-10 discussion, a round of applause for the bh6 team
before we dive into the discussion, I would first like to give the BH6 writers and animators a round of applause and a big thank you!, the story and animation for the first half of season 2 improved so much compared to the 1st season that I can only imagine what you guys have planned for the next half of season 2. If, by some miracle, you guys are reading my post please know that I and so many others appreciate your hard work in making such a fun show to watch, I hope you guys are getting the recognition you deserve for working so hard.
Tumblr media
Now, before we look over the big reveal of episode 10 I would first like to point out a few key details from certain episodes
first is a minor detail in episode 4 “something fishy”. Back in season 1 episode 2 Hiro grows concern for his secret identity when Karmi sees his face at a close range. Despite his worries, Hiro is safe on this matter since Karmi is more fond of his superhero alter ego and has no interest in believing that her hero is actually school Hiro.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
This same issue is seen in season 1 episode 12 when hiro investigates a warehouse about some stolen metal, unfortunately, Yama is also in the warehouse. Once he knows it Yama Hiro once again grows concern for his secret identity since he has confronted Yama numerous times in his regular life,
Tumblr media
thankfully, yama is not smart enough to put the two together and instead sees Hiros hero alter ego as just one of the members of big hero 6. With so much concern for his secret identity and the identities of his friends I always wondered, why dont they do something about it?. Well, as of season 2 episode 4 it appears that Hiro finally learned from his mistakes and has added a special feature to all of their helmets/ head pieces.
In season 2 episode 4, Gogo and Fred go to Richardson mole knowing that high voltage will be coming to him to steal back their electric orb. Once they arrive Richarson is delighted to see them but still has no idea that “lizard/chameleon guy” is actually fred since his suit covers his entire body (and he still has amnesia from S1Ep17) , but when he looks over to Gogo he asks,“do I know you?”,
Tumblr media
gogo says no, then quickly presses a button on the side of her helmet that causes the screen of her helmet to fog up, completely hiding her face before Richardson can get a better look.
Tumblr media
In the next shot we can still see Gogos face but that is most likely just for the fans to see. Richardson does not bring the subject of her secret identity back up again since its clear that he can only see the foggy screen
Tumblr media
if this was done to gogos helmet then its likely that the others have this feature as well. In season 2 episode 8 when liv amara offers her help to big hero 6 in taking down the mayoi she reaches out her hand to hiro with a smile, attempting to appeal to him a as an alley
Tumblr media Tumblr media
I have seen others posts questioning whether or not liv knows hiros real identity since they have confronted each other on numerous occasions, especially in episode 8.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
since hiro added the new feature to everyones helmets to hide their faces in public, liv most likely does not know hiros secret identity...at least not yet.
also very quickly, concerning globby, we all saw how after he ate nega globby nega globbys eye appeared on globbys back near the end of episode 5. I can already see this a mile away, negaglobby will try to take control of 9globby or use his body to regenerate its own.
Tumblr media
next lets talk about Wasabi,  recently I have noticed an unfortunate situation happening to wasabi when it comes to transportation. Getting around town during their hero work is one of many challenges that bh6 faces, however, each team member has his or her own way of getting around fast, Fred has his super jump and can ride on Baymax when needed,
Tumblr media
Honey lemon can also ride on Baymax with ease and will often create a slide or bounce ballot from her chem purse to get around faster.
Tumblr media
Hiro of course never leaves baymaxs side, so he can fly whenever
Tumblr media Tumblr media
naturally, gogo is the most skilled out of all of them since she also has her skates and new bike
Tumblr media
Wasabi, unfortunately, is the only one at a disadvantage. Wasabi is afraid of heights so riding baymax is usually a no for him (unless he has no choice). Yes, he has a car, however, that is a challenge of its own. In episode 6 when the team chases after a trio of suspicious cars everyone keeps up except wasabi who we first see is running and falling behind, we then see that he had no other choice but to take a taxi just to catch up to the others after the chase ended.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
in episode 10, when the team undergoes a monster chase exercise, everyone keeps up with Fred except wasabi who gets stuck in traffic and has no choice but to wait the traffic out before he can meet up with everyone to eat.
Tumblr media
with 15 episodes left of season 2, I really hope the bh6 team has plans to improve wasabis character so he can keep up with the others and not just be played off as a comedic gag.
setting aside these details I would also like to talk about a sudden name reveal in episode 9. After supersonic sue kidnaps baron von steamer, baron begins ranting about everyones silly dependence on electricity and how his base was the only one with power during a major black out,  near the end of his rant he shows hatred towards one particular villain called “THE DARK VOLT”,
Tumblr media
sue appears to have some connection to him as well as she states that it was the dark volt who created her electric elbow guards.
Tumblr media
Near the end of the episode when steamer and sue bicker about who is boss awesomes true #1 enemy they finally ask boss awesome himself to settle the matter, but rather than admit that neither one is his true enemy he simply jokes that its “cabbage soup”,
Tumblr media
but boss awesome, like every superhero, must have a true #1 enemy. Batman has the Joker, Superman has lex luther etc. etc. and right now the most likely suspect for boss awesome true #1 enemy is the one they call “the dark volt” who I suspect will make an appearance later on in the series as part of another filler or possibly be directly involved with a major point of the story
and speaking of super villains, with BH6 already renewed for a third season, who will be the next big bady that the team will face off against in season 3? . In season 1 episode 18, liv was introduced but soon shrugged off as a minor character, that is until she became involved with a major plot point of the story, orso knox.
Tumblr media
Not only that, once we found out that her company was called sycorax (which ironically enough we later learned was the name of an evil witch in shakespears “the tempest” and was also the play that orso knox kept quoting as a way to tell others that it was liv who turned him into a monster) our suspicion of her true nature began to grow. My point being, if liv was already planned to be season 2s big bady and was only featured in minor appearances in season 1 as a way of foreshadowing her future villain role, then odds are the next big bady will soon make an appearance in the same manner in season 2. So who is it going to be? and will they be an even bigger threat than liv?
finally lets talk about the big question, what the heck is going on with liv amara?!, for 9 whole episodes we have all tried to piece together livs end game. So far, aside from knox, she has mutated Momakase, high voltage, Ned Ludd and  Mr. Sparkles. Before, I believed that liv was purposely mutating villains to later experiment on and possibly use them as minions to carry out her crimes by brainwashing them into obeying her every command. As of episode 10, I’m starting to see more hints that this might just be the case
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
what makes me say this? well, if you have seen the first discussion I posted on episodes 1-5 I suspected that liv added a special feature to the chips shes been implanting into villains that will not only gift them with special abilities but will also give her the power to control them. When high voltage escaped in episode 4 they didn't make a break for freedom, instead they returned to liv despite the lack of trust they had in her. But I gotta say, the real give away was Mr. Sparkles. In episode 8 we learn that Mr. Sparkles had paid liv to give him the power to control a small army of genetically enhanced fungus, the mayoi.
Tumblr media
Liv agrees to his terms but also bargains with him to take the blame for all the mutated villains in san fransokyo. Its obvious that sparkles agreed to this set up since he is not one to pass up being the center of attention.
and why did liv ask Sparkles to take the blame for her mutations? because she knows that its only a matter of time before bh6 come after her. Her worries began when she finally noticed that regular people like Hiro and Karmi are now questioning her work (and again, I dont think liv knows Hiro is a member of bh6...yet). When liv created the mayoi she tells Chris that they (as well as sparkles) are their new insurance policy.
Tumblr media
Liv knows that if she has any hope of accomplishing her goal she must first make sure that she and sycorax are protected , and what better way to keep the public and bh6 away from her than posing as a hero and saving the city. In episode 8 when sparkles questions her appearance during his big attack we see him reading a stack of papers, its clear that the whole scene with liv appearing and saving the city was scripted,
Tumblr media
and just to make sure liv kept her end of the bargain, liv only created a serum that would return the mayoi back to their regular size rather than back to “normal”, and by “normal” I mean a pile of motionless fungus
Tumblr media
. And guess what, her plan worked!, with the whole city viewing her as a hero as well as having the entire police force indebted to her for donating their new k-9 unit (S2E4) no one will be able to confront liv about being responsible for the mutations and crimes without being pinned as the bad guy themselves.
Tumblr media
In episode 10 we see sparkles again (along with high voltage in eel form), only this time he is stealing a large sum of gold for liv,
Tumblr media
this sudden behavior of aiding liv after episode 8 is very unlike sparkles, sparkles does not like working, let alone sharing the spotlight with someone else. In episode 7, sparkles was working with yama, but as soon as he had the cash he needed sparkles asked yama to steal a rare (completely fake) comic book.
Tumblr media
This search turned out to be a double cross so sparkles could have enough time to take all the cash, turn the cops on yama and make a quick getaway.
Tumblr media
So then why of all things would sparkles suddenly settle for working under liv now that he got what he wanted from her?, unless, its not what he really wants to do,
in episode 10 when the Bessie monster steals gold from a highly secured facility, its clear that its heading back to liv.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
When liv later confirms that she has acquired the gold she needed it verifies that the Bessie beast is also under her control.
The only one thats missing now is momakase, if momakase is also under livs control then she is most likely out doing top secret jobs for liv as well, however, momakase is not like the other villains, she is highly skilled and specializes in stealthy activities, so liv would most likely not waste someone like her on grunt work.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
everything that liv has done was for one reason and that reason was soon discovered to be whatever was inside that giant pod in episode 5.
Tumblr media
Finally, in episode 10, we discover that the liv we have seen since season 1 and the start of season 2 was in fact NEVER the real liv amara!, the REAL liv amara was actually inside that giant pod we saw back in episode 5!!!, this fake liv amara has been secretly trying to bring back the real liv amara the entire time!
Tumblr media
granted, without a true reveal, we dont know yet if the fake liv is a clone or just livs twin sister. My main concern is, how did the real liv end up in a cryogenic state? and If the fake livs end game was to bring back the real liv amara, then what is the real liv amaras end game?
as for how the real liv ended up in a cryogenic state, I think I may have an idea. First, when fake liv is running thru the real livs file we see a picture of a virus on the screen,
Tumblr media
there are many types of viruses, however, this particular one which looks like a spider is called a “bacteriophage”, basically a bacteriophage will attach itself to a  cell and inject its own DNA into the persons cell, the virus DNA will then sneakily attach itself to the cells regular DNA so it can be duplicated thru something called “the cell cyle” which is what a cell does to make a clone of itself, only this time, since the cell is infected with a viruses DNA, it is also making a bunch of clones of the virus, once enough virus clones are made they tear the cell apart(killing it) and spread out to infect the next nearby cell to start the whole mess all over again
Tumblr media
In season 1 episode 2 Karmi explains that the the whole purpose of studying dangerous viruses is to make them less dangerous and figure out new uses for them,
Tumblr media
in season 2 episode 3 Karmi explains again that the purpose of studying dangerous micro organisms  is to make them less dangerous with “modified viral vectors that reprogram DNA”,
Tumblr media
in season 1 episode 18 fake liv connects with karmi thru their shared interest in bio tech. And despite the amount of good that can be done in their field its not without its consequences. Just as it is possible to make a dangerous microorganism/virus less dangerous it can also be made into a more dangerous version of its old self. In episode 4 when fake liv is talking to high voltage she has a hologram of someones DNA on her table, this DNA was most likely the real liv amaras DNA.
Tumblr media
In episode 10 fake liv talks to Bluff Dunder (the news guy) and explains that she and her team are working on a cure for a rare disorder/disease.
Tumblr media
Odds are, the real liv amara really was looking to cure a rare disorder but in the process of figuring out how to make the virus that caused it less deadly and more manageable she accidentally made it more dangerous and ended up accidentally infecting herself with it, or worse, she could have already had the disease to begin with but because it is illegal to experiment on humans (seriously, in real life if you do this you go to jail!)  she willingly tested on herself out of desperation to see if she could reprogram/remove the virus within herself. Either way, things did not turn out the way real liv wanted and is instead now in a critical state after her failed attempt to cure herself. The virus could have mutated to the point where it began to spread at a faster rate, that DNA hologram back in episode 4 had 1 piece missing,
Tumblr media
that piece could be the portion of real livs DNA that contains the virus DNA. Fake liv must have  been desperately trying to figure out how to remove it without killing real liv and before the virus managed to finish the job. Its possible that the only reason fake liv turned to a life of crime was because she got fed up with struggling to cure real liv thru legal means, after all, fake liv did say that she would do whatever it takes to bring her back.
which brings me to the next issue, why does fake liv need gold to cure the rare disorder/disease?, well, recently I found out that scientists in real life are researching how to to use gold nano particles to detect viruses, making it easier to remove a virus from a persons body. When Chris hands fake liv a cupcake covered in gold she finally gets the break through shes been looking for as she says, “Gold!, bio compatible nanoparticles, yes!”.
Tumblr media
At first, back in episode 5, fake liv was probably planing on using globbys self regeneration ability to destroy as much of the viruses DNA as possible while at the same time repairing the damaged cells and DNA along the way, however, since nega globby proved to unstable she decided to scrap the idea. However, none of that matters now that fake liv has the gold she needs to finally save the real liv.
so, now that we know its only a matter of time for the real live to wake up, what will happen once the real liv amara retakes her position from fake liv ? .Will she be just as cold blooded as fake liv and continue to use mutated villains to do her dirty work while she operates from the shadows to fulfill her true end game? ( whatever it may be?!). Will real liv become horrified with what her clone (or twin) has done to bring her back, causing fake liv to go rogue and start acting out on her own crazy ideals, possibly leaving real liv to play the good twin (or clone) and instead deciding to help bh6 take fake liv down before her plans destroy all of san fransokyo?!.
Will the BH6 writers and animators use real liv as part of some bigger plan, resulting in a final gigantic plot twist near the end of season 2 that will completely destroy us emotionally and have us desperately waiting for answers during the season 3 hiatus???????!!!!!!!!!!!... whos to say... but hey!,  thats just a theory, a big hero 6 theory!

Big Hero 6 Theory: Liv’s Next Mutation
Even though it’s not the main focus of my blog, it’s no secret that I love Big Hero 6: the series. I love the characters, I love the animation, I love the stories, and I, of course, love the mysteries. The show keeps you guessing as to what’s going to happen next, but the tragic thing is that, despite being popular enough to warrant a renewal for a third season before season 2 premiered, there doesn’t seem to be much of a fan community online. Unless you tag your fan art, theories, quotes, etc. it’s unlikely a piece of fan art will drift across your dash like it does for shows like Steven Universe, Star vs. The Forces of Evil, She-Ra, etc. I’m hoping that changes soon, but I digress.
Also, this theory is going to contain spoilers for season 2, so I’ll go ahead and tuck it under “Read More”.
Getting back on topic, one of the biggest mysteries thus far in season 2 is the monsters and who is making them. We know Liv Amara is the culprit, but as of episode 10, “Lie Detector,” it becomes less clear what’s going on. Who’s the real Liv Amara? Why is one Liv in what appears to be cryosleep? Why is the other Liv making these monsters? How long has this apparent clone been running amok? Have we only known this clone the entire time? Does the sleeping Liv know what’s going on? There are so many questions, but not a whole lot of answers. Seeing as it’s been a few weeks since the last new episode, we might not know for some time. All we know is that the active Liv Amara is turning old villains into monsters for some kind of fee and, at the moment, no known benefit for the villains. Well, yeah, the villains become stronger, faster, and meaner, but as we saw with High Voltage, the process kind of interferes with living their best lives. We don’t know why they want this or why Liv is doing it. All we really know is that Liv is turning humans into monsters and turning them loose in the streets, sometimes being the one to take them down and look like a hero, other times letting Big Hero 6 do the dirty work.
So now let’s take a look at what we know about Liv’s monsters. I’ll bold the important stuff, as most of this will just be recap:
The first one, introduced in season 1 although we don’t know the full story yet, is Orso Knox, the Shakespeare fan turned whale mixed with a dinosaur and some hair, put into a blender, frozen, and then partially thawed. He spends the episode rampaging through the streets of San Fransokyo, attending his meetings, destroying offices, and speaking cryptically. We later learn that he wasn’t trying to hurt anyone, but is more beast than man, and was only trying to get help the best he could. Had it not been for Karmi reversing his mutation in the episode “Prey Date,” Liv probably would have kept Knox as a monster for even longer, potentially pulling him further and further from his humanity.
The second one is Momakase, who can be best described as turning into a werewolf from Skyrim (although her appearance is likely based on Lady Deathstrike, another Marvel villain). Momakase has always been strong, but she is heightened way beyond her normal abilities. Her nails are deadly claws that can cut through anything, she can escape the trap Big Hero 6 creates her and escape into the night, and has so far not been seen again since the episode “The Seventh Wheel.”
Third and fourth is the mother-daughter duo High Voltage. When they make their season 2 debut in “Something’s Fishy,” they discuss wanting to go straight with Liv, telling her that their crime days are over and even trying to lead normal lives after doing Liv’s dirty work. Unfortunately, once they mutate, those dreams are crushed, and they end up being kept in a tank until Liv needs them again in the episode “Lie Detector.” Barb and Juniper even end up turning back over their new leaf after an entire song and dance number about wanting to be normal, which, suggests to me at least, that Liv’s mutation process also messes with free will. Is it possible the two really did just learn they love crime that much? Sure, but I’m not convinced.
The fifth, arguably, is Nega-Globby, a destructive blob made from Globby’s already mutated DNA, introduced in the episode “Nega-Globby”. Side note, I love this episode. Globby makes such a sacrifice in the name of goodness and, I’d say, has been pretty thoroughly redeemed. While our Globby is victorious by the end of the episode, Nega-Globby is still part of him, suggesting that it’s not easy to undo one of Liv’s mutations.
The sixth is the Hibagon in the episode “Muira-Horror!”, the mutated Ned Ludd, back again for more action. Unlike all the other mutations before, Ned’s mutation leaves him a mindless killing machine, further supporting the idea that Liv has the power to interrupt or even override free will. Even Orso Knox had the ability to quote The Tempest, but Ned doesn’t say a word. He comes out of his mutation dazed and confused, with no recollection of what happened.
Mutant number seven is Mr. Sparkles, who is made into a fluffy green monster in the aptly titled episode, “Something Fluffy.” Also introduced in this episode are the Mayoi, adorable, fluffy fungus creatures created by Liv that grow into towering kaijus that can be controlled by Mr. Sparkles. Basically, Liv can create hive minds, or at the very least can put one mind in charge of many. She’s the one to save the day at the end of the episode, boosting her appearance and making Big Hero 6 look inept. After Hiro learns the police already don’t much care for the superhero team in the episode “Something’s Fishy”, this event creates more tension between them and the people they protect, possibly setting up the conflict for the rest of the season, or maybe even the main conflict of season 3.
Finally, we have the big Bessie Bear from the latest episode, “Lie Detector.” This mutation shows us that Liv can essentially give life to inanimate objects, as all she needed was a lock of grizzly bear hair to create the technology cancelling beast. This shows that all Liv needs to make a monster is the tiniest amount of DNA.
So now we know/remember what Liv can do with her technology. We know she poses a threat to Big Hero 6. Seeing as she has only done experiments on past antagonists (as well as Orso Knox and, as is implied, her Chris-sistant, although we don’t know enough about him for him to make the recap), why would she experiment on Big Hero 6? In my mind, the answer is simple: to break them apart. If she mutates one of the characters, crime fighting will be a lot harder. Public perception of the team will plummet. And, if she works her magic with tampering with free will, she can even have another henchman on her side. In short, there’s no way Liv loses in this scenario. Now that we know her motivation, who’s on the chopping block?
The first person who comes to mind isn’t a person at all. We know that Liv can make monsters with a frame and just a bit of DNA, so in theory, she could mutate Baymax. This doesn’t seem likely though, as it would be much easier to just unplug him. Plus, he was part of a super villain grand scheme last season, so it might be repetitive. It could be Hiro. He’s the main character, and having him mutated would force him to hide more things from Aunt Cass, force him to go to Karmi for help, and would give us more insight into the lives of the mutated villains. Although, because he’s the main character, I can’t see him switching sides. Fred is already pretty animalistic, as reflected in his costumes and behaviors while wearing them. But, I don’t know how much mileage we can get considering how Fred is still very much a comic relief character. Wasabi is probably the least developed character on the team, so a mutation could push things for him in a new direction, but that would probably come at the show’s detriment. Honey Lemon’s chem purse already puts her in harm’s way of suffering the same mutation as Globby, making her an easy target, but that would just be repetitive at this point. And so, we are left with one person, the character who I think this is most likely to happen to:
Go Go Tomago.
In a way, season 2 has been Go Go’s season. She’s had more development than the rest of the cast, maybe even more than Hiro. “The Fate of the Roommates” shows her emotionally vulnerable and opening up about her feelings for the first time, developing her as a character and her relationship with Honey Lemon. The very next episode, “Muira-Horror!” shows her learning to let go of some of her stubbornness to trust in Krei’s judgement. The episode “Supersonic Sue” shows her crisis as she fails to prevent an old criminal fresh out of retirement from escaping a crime scene, an old criminal who, as it turns out, was inspired by Go Go to go back to crime. Basically, Go Go has been on an emotional roller coaster this season. We see her get angry, we see her get sad, we see her challenged in ways we hadn’t before. These episodes gave her highs, but they also gave her lows. In fact, “Supersonic Sue” didn’t even give her time to get over what happened, nor does she get a chance to redeem herself from her failure. Right now, Go Go has the most to lose and would likely be the hardest to fall. If anyone on the team is going to get mutated, I’m betting it’s her.
As of right now, we don’t know if the show is going in this direction. For all we know, the mutations stopped at Bessie and the rest of the season will be rounding up the mutants and returning them to normal. But the season is only half-over. I feel like we have plenty of time to play around with the status quo and shake things up a bit. If they do go this route, I doubt it will be permanent, but it could be fun and heart-wrenching at the same time. We’ll see, when Disney finally airs those new episodes.

Headcanon for people not being able to recognize BH6 with their helmets on.
Okay, so I’ve been hearing a lot about this and people wondering why the others (like Karmi) can’t recognize the members of Big Hero 6 and I came up with a theory. In their universe, the helmet shields blur and/or distort the face so that people can’t recognize who is wearing it but it doesn’t look that way for us, viewers, because of the animation and art style.
What do you think? Let me know if I explained my theory well.
