It's why you're suddenly seeing all these bl guys doing concerts and fanmeetings in Japan! TV Asahi especially has been in close partnership with GMMTV ever since BrightWin rose to popularity. Japan is one of Thailand's biggest economic partners and Japanese corporations have a big presence there. Friendly cultural exhange with Thailand is vital to Japan to combat the rising Chinese influence in the Asian region. Thai-Japanese political relations have become complicated following the military coup and diminishing democracy in Thailand in favour of more pro-China politics including Chinese arm sales, but exhange of cultural products and tourism promotes a mutually positive image on a grassroot level that is likely beneficial to both parties.

while none of these actors have been in a previous toku series, 3/5 of them have been in productions concerning the story of "cinderella".
suzuki also guest starred in a drama which starred rin takanashi (shinken pink) and had ukyo matsumoto (kamen rider snipe) as a support character. this is relevent because i watched this drama, and enjoyed it a lot
Characters
BoonRed– Taiya Handou
He is a master of development and modification. He works as a "delivery man" with the cars he builds. When he likes a person or a thing, he says, "I love it!" or "I bought it!" He has the ability to see things for what they really are, and he has a strong competitive instinct that leads him to make quick judgments. Even if there is a risk, he says, "Isn't it better to take the risk?" He is the type of person who enjoys taking risks in a positive manner. He is adept at using both rods and guns, and is good at creative fighting according to the situation.
BoonBlue– Ishirou Meita
An "informant", a master of information gathering. Usually a freelance spy. He always considers risks and makes calm decisions. He is meticulous and cynical. He fights alongside Taiya as if it were a "job he had contracted". He has excellent, dynamic vision and is good at precise movements. When he uses a gun, he is a one-hit wonder.
BoonPink– Mira Shifuto
A "driver", an expert in driving and maneuvering. She usually works part-time at various stores. Her pedal work technique is so good that both Taiya and Ishirou are amazed. She is a mood-maker and a troublemaker. After meeting Taiya, she began to show her true core strength. She fights intuitively with his unique sensibility.
BoobBlack– Jou Akuse
He is a "police man", a rookie cop who is passionate about justice. He usually patrols the town on his bicycle as a uniformed police officer.
He is a serious and aggressive person. He is more hard than soft. He is confident in his physical strength. He mainly likes to use the rod mode of the Boom Boom Change Axe.
BoonOrange– Kenba Bureki
A "procurer," a master of procurement. He is a man who can be relied on to procure what he needs from anywhere. He has a gentle and soft manner. He is elusive and never shows his true feelings. He is more soft than hard. He is good at fighting by taking advantage of his opponent's movements. He mainly uses the Axe Mode of the Boom Boom Change Axe.
Friends of Boonboomger
Boondeals Boondrio (?) – Also known as "Boom Boom"
A car-shaped alien who fell to earth after being wounded.
It resides in the garage of Taiya's secret base at his home, and usually lives in humanoid or human-sized form.
When in human form, he wears a self-made sun visor on his head.
He is a first-rate mechanic, and he and Taiya, who likes to tinker with machines, get along well and consider each other to be best friends.
He is also good at housework, and for some reason often makes curry.
Boonboomger's set of equipment was made with the help of Boomboom and Taiya. Taiya and his friends call themselves "Boonboomgers," meaning "Boonboom and his warriors. They monitor Boonboomger's battles from Taiya's garage and sometimes support him remotely.
Boonboom can grow to a giant size. The power is drawn out when the Boonboomger rides on it. It can combo with various Boonboomgers and fight huge enemies as a Boonboomger robot.

Great Space Invasion Dairikurikidan Hashiriyan (Villians)
The unborn of the universe. They attack people in order to collect the human scream energy Gasoline ("Gyasolin").
Deco Trade ("Dekotarade") – (left), Has dreams of moving up the ranks. One of 3 idiotic site supervisors who causes trouble every time. Voiced by Junichi Sawabe (who has been in previous Toku Productions)
Itasha – (right), Has dreams of moving up the ranks. One of 3 idiotic site supervisors who causes trouble every time. Voiced by Nana Mizuki (Was in Super Hero Taisen Z)
Yaruka Yai Yai – Has dreams of moving up the ranks. One of 3 idiotic site supervisors who causes trouble every time. Sometimes becomes a car. Voiced by Sumire Moroshi.

Happy 20th anniversary FMA. Let's put some forgotten feathers back in your cap.
Melissa was the #1 anime theme song to wrap 2003, and peaked at #2 on the Oricon Singles Chart - Japan's music industry standard for charting CD singles. Melissa became the #34th top selling single for 2003 and was only on sale for two months of the year (Melissa went on sale Sept 26th and Oricon is tracked Dec 1 - Nov 30). Melissa ranked #66 in top Japanese singles for 2004 too. The song would be on the Oricon charts for 38 weeks! Melissa won Animage Magazine's 2004 Anime Grand Prix for Best Anime Song.
Ready Steady Go! was the 18th best selling single of 2004 and peaked at #1 on the Oricon Singles Chart, and would do so charting less than half the time of Melissa, 16 weeks.
FMA sweeps Animage Magazine's 26th Annual Anime Grand Prix held in June 2004 - winning best series, best male character (Ed), best female character (Riza), best voice performance (Romi Park), best song (Melissa @ #1, Kesenai Tsumi @ #2), and best episode (7).
FMA is on the cover of all 3 major Japanese animation magazines for July 2004 - Newtype, Animage, and Animedia.
July 31, 2004 L'arc~en~Ciel make their North American debut at Otakon. Prior to their concert held at the 1st Mariner Place (now CFG Bank Arena) in Baltimore, to a crowd of 12,000 the first episode of the upcoming FMA English dub is premiered.

Anime Expo 2006 celebrates FMA. In the first ever event to honour voice acting, direction, production, etc of English anime in North America, the American Anime Awards were held at New York City Comic Con in 2007, handing out awards for the Best Of 2006. The series would lose Best Feature (CoS) to FFVII Advent Children, but win Best Long Series, Best DVD Packaging, Best Cast, and Best Theme Song (Rewrite).

So, I'm not sure how many people know that saran doll hair is made by only one company, Asahi-Kasei. The link above is to a page showing their standard hair colors
These are the thermal color change options
and these are the glow-in-the-dark
A toy company can pay for a custom hair color, but that's apparently so expensive/requires such a large quantity order that they almost never do that. (And a supplier of doll hair to customizers is going to be even less able to afford it.)
When you see a picture of a new doll and aren't sure of the hair fiber, sometimes the color can be a clue, because saran is available in such a relatively limited number of colors--so, if the hair on the doll is a color not on the Asahi-Kasei site, then you know it's not saran.

The most feral of the 4 teams
I think we all know this but just to reiterate
Literally, I don’t care if they know absolutely nothing about art
The fact is they all suddenly become FASCINATED by it just because their manager is into it
Asahi has the most appreciate, followed by Kiyoko and Yachi
When they first find out you are into Art, they demand to see what you do daily
Idk if you only added one line to a drawing or maybe planned a new piece of pottery
These boys will be so into it!
They will ask the same question daily which is “can you teach me YN?”
When you tell them you have an exhibit coming up, they don’t even ask if they are invited
They just assume ���
If it’s at a fancy place, they were their school uniforms because it’s the nicest thing they own 🤣
Daichi reminds them to keep the volume to a minimum
Hinata tells Kageyama not to look at anything breakable because his face is ugly/scary enough to break it on site
The “iTs My FaCe AsShOlE” speech follows
Tsukki is actually semi interested and wanders around looking at the exhibits
Noya and Tanaka glare at everyone until they say how amazing your pieces are 🙄
Ennoshita tells you that he will forcefully remove them if needed
Suga actually asks detailed questions about your work and super interested
Hinata is forced to stay next to Yamaguchi so he doesn’t accidentally break anything
All in all, solid 20/10 support and 6/10 safety around breakable pieces 🥰
Shiratorizawa
The most regal of the teams
Literally they showed up, literally in suits YN
SUITS 🫡
Someone quick, take a picture for your memory wall 📱
Honestly they don’t talk about your art much because volleyball practice is for volleyball
But after practice, Semi, Reon and Tendou show the most interest
Semi is super into your style and is always looking at your sketches/ finished products
Reon and Tendou are just super supportive, giving feedback and wanting to learn more
Ushijima doesn’t say anything BUT he is totally listening and storing away everything you say
Goshiki, well Goshiki tries 😅
He wants to know more but the boy doesn’t have a creative bone in his body
He is the definition of a “super volleyball idiot”
Shirabu and Kawanishi don’t really understand art but they still encourage you none the less
At your exhibit, they all walk the floor together
Like a flock of birds 😂
One of them moves and they others follow
They only mingle with you and keep a close eye on your work
Literally they don’t want anyone messing with all the hard work you’ve put in
You’ll talk with them about what you’ve done and that’s when Ushijima surprises you
“I see you used the light purple over the dark purple Yn, that was an excellent move.”

It’s not that Atsumu doesn’t support you, it’s just that his brain really only functions on volleyball
Kita and Aran will use every change they get to hype up your art work
Omimi suggests they use it in volleyball somehow
Even if it’s pottery or creative writing, they find a way
Akagi is super interested in what you do, always asking questions
Suna sits by you while you work, you have an unspoken relationship of just silent co-existence
He’s super peaceful 😌
Ginjima is a hype man, literally show him your new work and he will scream your praises
Osamu and you both encourage each other in your chosen talents
You taste his creations and give feedback and he critics your art
He’s an honest boy and we support it!
Riseki, our sweet baby, just loves supporting you because it makes you smile
At the exhibit, they honestly act semi normal
Atsumu and Osamu promised not to fight
Suna and Ginjima stood in between Samu and Sumu so they DIDNT fight
Kita, Aran, Omimi and Akagi are all like ridiculously interested in art
Like they talk to you about all the exhibits and point out their favs
Riseki kind of stands there, awkward but he tries
Sumu compares art to volleyball and how he’s basically the artist of the team
Samu tells Sumu that volleyball is a sport, not an art which leads to fighting
Which then leads to Suna and Gibjima having to take the children home early
Solid 10/10 moral support but they might cause you a lot of stress 😅
Nekoma
I’m calling it, best team for Art Exibit support goes to Nekoma 🏆
Literally they are the most calm of all of the teams here and definitely beyond supportive
Literally YN, they worship the ground you walk on
So when they find out you are into Art, oh lord
They bug you non-stop to show them what you’re doing
Kuroo doesn’t even need to remind them you have an exibit, they just show up
Kai and Yaku are your support system, giving feedback and helping you carry things and organize everything
Yamamoto is security, hype man and literally #1 Yn simp
Kenma thinks your art is awesome and you’re one of the only people he talks to regularly
Lev, Shibayama, and Inuoka literally adore you so much and want to know everything about your art
Fukunaga, a fellow artist but with words, literally always knows just the thing to say to cheer you up
And Kuroo talks about how you are the carbohydrates that fuel the team 😂
Because he would and we all know it
At your exhibit, they are the first to show up and the last to leave
Kenma might sneak off and play a game or two
But the rest are super interested
Kai takes photos, if allowed, and posts them in the teams group chat
Yaku will discuss every single exibit with you
Kuroo stands around like a proud dad 😂
Lev critics things because he’s an honest boy even thought he knows nothing about art
Inuoka and Shibayama literally just gawk at you because you are so cute when you are happy
Yamamoto is alot like Tanaka and Noya but a tiny bit tamer
Fukunaga takes notes on what he wants to talk to you about later when he finally gets to discuss your art with you

Ukai Keishin x Daichi’s Sister! reader
Reader is 23 (3 years younger than Ukai)
Tw?: Pregnancy, one night stands
I sat in my car at the gates of Karasuno. My brother has volleyball practice until like 20:00. Who actually has so much energy they’d be able to play sports for hours. Daichi already knows I’m picking him up after practice. I needed to talk to him about something really important. I stepped out of my car and leaned on the door.
“Y/n?” My brother said.
“Jesus fucking Christ you centipede.” I jumped. I looked to my left to see my brother and his teammates. “Can you please stop calling me that.” He rolls his eyes. “Anyways the team wanted to meet you and do you think you’d be able to bring Suga and Asahi home, too?” He asked.
I blinked at his teammates. Three of them were looking at me starry eyed, while two of the looked annoyed, a green haired boy looked kinda shy, and threw others that looked done with the starry eyed ones. “Yeah of course! I love those kids.” I said smiling. Suga and Asahi chuckled.
“Oh. Nee-san, these are the second years: Ennoshita, Tanaka, Nishinoya, Kinoshita, and Narita.” My brother pointed to each one of the boys as he said their names. “These are the first years: Hinata, Yamaguchi, Kageyama, and Tsukishima.” He says pointing the the first years.
“It’s nice to meet you all. I’m Sawamura Y/n, Daichi’s older sister.” I say.
“It’s nice to meet you too!!!” Tanaka said.
“Daichi we need to go I still have to talk to you about something.” I said looking at the time on my phone.
“Ok see ya guys.” He said and walked over to my car, Suga and Asahi following him.
Once everyone was in the car I started it and started driving. “Where to first.” I asked.
“My house first.” Asahi said. “Ok.” I responded.
“So what’s so important, Y/n?” My brother asked. “Well it’s kind of personal but I don’t really mind Asahi and Suga knowing.” Daichi nodded as I was talking. “Well a couple months ago I hooked up with this guy. We were both drunk and I don’t know. He woke up at my apartment.” I said.
“Wow, ok. Is that all?” Daichi asked.
“I’m also pregnant and I don’t know how to tell him.” I said turning on Asahi’s street. Suga choked on something and Asahi looked like he saw a ghost.
“Um. So you hooked up with a guy, and now you’re pregnant and that baby is the product of a one night stand.. are you keeping it?” He asked.
“Probably. It’s my kid.” I slowed down in front of Asahi’s house.
“Um see ya guys. Thank you Y/n-San.” Asahi said. “No problem.” I said. After Asahi got inside we started off to Suga’s.
“Do you know the name of the guy you hooked up with?” Suga asked picking up his waterbottle.
“Yeah it’s Ukai Keishin.” I answered. Suga choked on his water. “What?!” Daichi looked at me.
“What??” I said confused. “That’s our coach.” Sugawara said.
“It’s a small world.” I said stopping at a red light.
“No no. Y/n, you’re pregnant with my coach’s kid.” Daichi said. The light turned green and I kept going.
“Yes, I know.” I said. “Oh my god.” He said brushing his hand in his hair. “How do I tell him?” I asked.
“I think you should be straightforward with it.” Suga chimed in. “That’s exactly what you’re going to do, and you are doing it right now.” Daichi said. “No I’m not, the fuck?” I say.
“Yes you are. I’ll tell you the way to his store.” My brother says.
Time skip.
I opened to door to Ukai’s store. “Hi welcome to-. Hey it’s you.” Ukai said.
“Yep it’s me.” I say awkwardly. “What’s wrong? You good?” He asks me.
“So I kinda found out something you might want to know.” I said and pulled out the tests from my purse. I put the tests on the counter and he looked at them. And then at me. And then back at the tests.
“What are these?” He asks picking one up.
“They are pregnancy tests. Positive pregnancy tests. I’m pregnant with your baby.” He looks up at me. “Are you sure this isn’t a joke?” He puts down the test.
“I wouldn’t joke about something like this.” I said tears starting to form. My pregnancy has made you cry super easily so far.
“Hey, wait don’t cry.” He stands up and puts his hand on my shoulder. “Are you going to keep it?”
“Yeah.” A tear slipped down my cheek.
“Then I’ll be here for you every step of the way.” He said and hugs me. “I know we’re not together and we didn’t plan this at all but I’ll be here for you the best I can. I promise.” He said rubbing my back.
“There’s something else you should know.” I broke the hug. He looked down at me.
“I’m Sawamura Daichi’s older sister.” I say. “Oh dear god I’m in so much trouble. Please tell him not to kill me.” He says and you laugh.
“Here is my number. You’ll probably need it since we’re gonna have a kid and stuff.” I say writing down my number. Ukai chuckles and says ok.
“See ya Ukai.” I say as I start walking out of the store.
“Call me Keishin. And see ya Y/n.” He waves too and I walk out.
