In the end Aleksander has to accept that Alina will never be Luda and will never “see” him for him. She will never want what Luda wanted unless he is out of the way. 

Pretty wretched. But realistically, this is set to teach a lesson. We can’t all want the same things. We’re all built differently.  Whilst I do find Alina bratty most of the time, she said she did not want to be Amplified, Luda does.  I really do think Aleksander unconciously believes Alina is Luda and he is protecting her bu giving her what she wanted. So when Alina denies him her loyalty and love it’s more than just a slap in the face.  Yes I do want to hug him.

You know what ? I take the end of the series as positive only because it gives me the Nikolina endgame. It's crazy how Alina seems to have a better chemistry with anyone who isn't Mal, even with all the effort the writers put into making him Prince Charming. No, but look at this look that Nikolina gives each other at the end of this video and dare to tell me that this isn't a greater demonstration of chemistry than Malina has done in the entire show ?! It's something that will always kill me. How am I supposed to believe that Malina is the ultimate true love when Alina looks at men other than Mal that way ? The Darkling in season 1 and finally Nikolai in season 2...

In fact, the end of season 2 proves the Darkling was right. Throughout the season he keeps explaining how rotten the world is and no one listens to him. Everyone makes him the big bad guy to take down. Alina thinks that all the problems will disappear and clearly once he dies, everything is worse than before. Same on the Crows side with the case of Nina and Matthias thinking that being pardoned by the king would be enough to save him from this rotten world and not he will remain locked up. Basically, in the end nothing has really changed and limit, everything is worse for the characters on a personal scale but also for the world with the drugs that appear. Then Alina is surely the new Darkling at the end. It looks like a parody and the worst part is that the writers didn't even do it on purpose.

I don't like talking about that show because I hate it.

It's obvious that the writers understood how much of a jerk Mal was in the books so they whitewashed him in the show. But by doing so they made him incredibly boring.

Nikolina had a good premise in the show but again as I said I didn't like the characters in the show so it makes no difference to me and I didn't really care with what the writers were going to do with this ship (I think they were going to screw it up too according to some rumors that circulated for season 3).

Anyway, anything is better than Malina, Alina had better chemistry with Oncat than him, the show's Darkling didn't appeal to me (too emotional for my taste) but his opinions were right nevertheless.

What happened in the book, happened in the show too: the Darkling died and the world got screwed up instead of being fixed.

Pride Month 2022 ft. Nikolina (Grishaverse) Modern!AU

Because it’s important to remember that just because two people are in what seems to be a heterosexual relationship, this does not mean they are any less queer. Even when you’re a demisexual heteromantic or a cis male bisexual with a preference for women.

Nikolai has known and embraced his bisexuality for some time now. Pride month is a well known rodeo for him. All though he usually leans towards women, he’s had more than one ocasional fling with men and openly talks about it. 

On the other hand, Alina realizing she is demisexual was a relatively recent event. She had never realized that she did not experience sexual attraction as most people do, believing she simply had a very low sex drive. She never felt any sort of sexual attraction when she dated her best friend Mal Oretsev, and while there definitely was a spark with her ex-boyfriend Aleksander, it wasn’t until a couple of months into her relationship with Nikolai that she actually felt genuine sexual attraction. Her friends Tolya and David actually introduced her to the concept of the ace spec (being part of it themselves). When she mentioned it to Nikolai, he chuckled and said he had suspected it for some time, but felt like that was her own personal journey to discover and choose.

They are both very happy and supportive of each other. During Pride Month, they love to go to Pride Parades and dress in the palettes of their respective flags. But most importantly, they love celebrating each other all year around.

Everyone is looking at me, like I’m the answer.

sab2 finale dresses redesign!!!

i think my fav out of the og dresses was alinas but i changed all of the dresses to look a little more like they were from the same time period

obv i also had to change the colors 👁️ couldnt put zoya in blue bc unfortunately alina has dibs on that color rn so i put her in silver bc thats her color too!!! and ofc genyas in red though i didnt mind the sage green of her og dress but it reminded me of the emerald/ruby conversation w david and i thought she should have a ruby colored dress instead ❤️
