I like the degree of Cheongryeo’s (outright) [From: Debut or Die] psychotic/unhinged tendencies

And I’m not strictly just referring to the full one unhinged things he does. Like, I mean just his way of carrying himself too on a “regular” basis. He’s the type of guy who’d suddenly start laughing and then just randomly stop in the most off putting way (by that I mean he canonically does that).

The whole scene where he’s giving Moondae a car ride is amusing but also off putting, because in Moondae’s own words, “…He seemed a little psychotic” 😭. Like, the whole time they were in that car, Moondae is keeping check of the view ahead and around the car and making extra sure Cheongryeo doesn’t take his eyes off the road while driving ☠️. Moondae did not want to be in that car lmao. Understandably so, due to the erratic nature of even Cheongryeo’s small actions:

Cheongryeo smiled and lightly tapped the steering wheel. Moondae: ‘I’d rather be the person driving.’ […] I only moved my eyes to glance at the rearview mirror but I could see Cheongryeo’s eyes staring at me. …Frankly, it was downright creepy.

Or that one point where Moondae blocked his number, and so Cheongryeo called Moondae’s company to get in contact with him again ☠️

It’s all little things, but definitely add to the fact that this man’s sanity is barely handing on lmao

I just started binging it today but it's so compelling. It has themes and they're discussed from different angles and it tells stories that matter and the mc actually changes so much throughout the story.

As im writing this im at ch 78 of the manhwa and im just. Floored. Holy shit. I assume there's a lot more in store for me moving forward but goddamn?????? It's so touching, so moving and so cool also. Im impressed. Im amazed. People should be talking more about this wth!!!!

story & setting: mia must overcome misogyny and familial neglect in order to prove herself as the rightful heir to the family, while using her foresight to outsmart her nemesis and numerous enemies. it really feels dangerous and thrilling, i couldn’t put it down

the art: it’s fresh, bright, and stylized. it starts off at an excellent quality threshold and maintains it

For a man who says he’ll just be lazy and do absolutely nothing, Cale does WAYYY too much lmao

Like in the start, there’s a scene where he is being sent to a festival, even though his younger bro (Basen) was supposed to go to it originally. And he really doesn’t want to go, and he thinks to himself that if he starts acting up, he won’t be sent there and will get to relax But then he’s like: “ Ok, but if I think about it, the festival is dangerous. If Basen dies there then he won’t become the next Count, and if that doesn’t happen, I won’t get to relax. And also, while I’m at the festival I can go on [insert 3 more convoluted side quests] to collect ancient powers. And then I can use these powers to laze around and relax. So if I really think about it, this is all necessary if I want to relax ”

And then he never ends up relaxing cuz he’s constantly busy 😭

His biggest ‘problem’ is that he cares ‘too much’. He says he doesn’t, but he’s in denial almost. He cares, which is why he keeps putting everything else above his own comfort. Buying cakes, pasta, and steaks for On & Hong was because he did care. He told himself “Oh, it’s just cuz I don’t want them to annoy me”, but no, he had no reason to go the extra mile just for that reason, especially cuz buying those sweets and meat meant he was probably making more trips up and down the hill 🤧

But okay bbg, whatever you say goes ❤️😮‍💨
