That chapter was fucking beautiful like that’s it. Use me?? USE MEEEE?? My jaw fucking dropped like AHHHHHHH. The way they get eachother is something so special to me.

I hope you know how cruel you are and how much happiness and pain I just went through in the past 15 minutes bc of these two idiots. “She’s scared of him. He scared her”. That’s it, that’s when I cried. He grew so much and then it all fell apart and what hurt the most is the way he knew he hurt her and then she just pushed away- Blondie didn’t deserve that, and the fact that he knew that made the entire chapter insanely pure and amazing. Like the emotion and the writing put into that angst scene all credits to you that was insane and it felt so real. The way she pushed away when he walked towards her too the way he held her and apologized. Not to mention the car scene. She knew they needed space and she spoke up. She went home alone after all this time together. That was all unnecessary like why?? Why hurt us…. It’s to painful I am already mentally unstable. The way she thought he was gonna hit her is when I lost it. The fact that we both know he would never but he completely snapped and it was all unsure after that is painful. The way he wants to protect her from everything but deep down he’s just hurting her more. I’m sad.

A kid is involved now??? Tbh I know it’s not his his (well I’m not gonna assume anything bc this whole fic has been insane and I don’t know what to think anymore) but imagine him and Blondie raising a little kid. **insert sobbing noises**

So much angst and painful moments and as much as it hurt, it’s quite necessary. Funny story though, that “use me” line and that whole shower scene was actually a last minute addition to the chapter. I wrote it Monday night because I couldn’t stop thinking about it or seeing Hailey’s sad face in my mind. I really am such a psychopath sometimes. 😅

Jay and Hailey have both reached their breaking points and Camilla’s craziness is certainly driving a wedge between them. The pain is so real right now and it’s definitely gonna get worse before it gets better, but there will also be the happiest ending once Camilla is taken care of. I just can’t tell you how long that will take. 🥴

I cannot wait for you to see what’s happening in the next chapter and how everything unfolds even further. It’s gonna be a wild ride for a while for sure, but I hope you enjoy it nonetheless. I promise it won’t be sad forever though.

First Lines Tagging Meme

Hello!

Unnecessary and overly wordy introduction/personal musings: I love opening lines so much. When I worked at a bookstore, I used to open books and hardcore judge them on their first lines. I had barely any free time to read at that point so if it didn’t grab me in the first line or two, I put it back. The first Harry Potter book is actually in my pile of really good openers. “Mr. and Mrs. Dursley of number four, Privet Drive, were proud to say that they were perfectly normal, thank you very much.” (Subtle alliteration, HELLO??) So I'm super excited to see if my own first lines come even close to the standards that I apply to other people lol. MY OWN MONEY IS ON NO. I have the feeling that I'm so frantic trying to get the story down on paper before the good words disappear from my head that I'm not actually paying attention to the first line. BUT LET'S SEE, SHALL WE.

So just straight up going backwards, I've written and posted TWO BRAND NEW THINGS after being away from fandom almost entirely for 10+ years! They're drabble length but they're shiny and new! <3 (All available fics are linked!)

1. Tango:

She teaches them to dance so that they can dance with her but when Atem gets that mischievous smirk on his face and pulls Yugi into his arms, their bodies spark and the dance floor smolders at their heels.

(The fic is so short that this is a full 1/5 of it but actually, I think I crammed all the good stuff right into that first line. This already might be my favorite. Like it says there in the line itself, Puzzleshipping.)

2. No Betting:

Anzu sat at the kitchen table writing carefully calculated answers onto sticky notes before attaching them to a fourth-grade math worksheet.

(Peachshipping! This one doesn't pop off until about line five so here's the rest of that bit:)

She had the same arrangement with her spouse as most parents had. When the kids were good they were hers. When they were bad, they were his. And when they were winning at games because they picked up rules with uncanny speed and read their opponents with more insight than ought to be available to a child, they were definitely, definitely his.

3. If you wanted honesty that's all you had to say (working title):

When he realized that the figure sitting under the game shop display window and smoking wasn’t Ryou, the physical body response was as though it had discovered a coiled snake not two feet away.

(This one! It's a NEW half finished(?) WIP. I actually started this one before the drabbles but wanted to finish before posting it. Then it got out of hand, then work got out of hand, then I started a couple more projects and well. I keep putting words on it though and eventually there will be a Kleptoshipper that turns into Puzzle and Tender for your reading enjoyment. Also, fair warning - don't use song lyrics as a working title. Every time I look at the document I get the song stuck in my head.)

Now we have polished up reposts of old stories for their move to AO3, where I'll basically keep my master archive. Not full re-writes but I fixed a bunch of typos and awkward sentences and they're much stronger for it. Most of these are from a pairings contest way back when so LOTS of different pairings and lots of AUs!

4. Human:

It was like a bad noir, the thought crossed both of their minds.

(Scifi AU, Rivalshipping. That one's not bad for a first line. Actually no link at the time of writing cause the re-edit is going up in like, a half hour? an hour? a half day? It's my next project after finishing this, finishing up the edit and posting it on AO3. Now with link!)

5. Blood:

Fingers through midnight black hair, whispers in his ear, touches that sizzled along the skin, awakening nerves and senses. 

(Dungeonshipping, Pegasus x Otogi, vampires AU. Oh that’s a nice first line! <3)

6. Crazy for You:

The keys are too large and too heavy for the doctor more used to more modern facilities but she doesn't say anything, just follows the orderly as he pulls the large door open.

(Manipulashipping, Anzu x Marik, Psychward AU. Still one of my favorites from that era. Big bold warning though, THIS ONE CONTAINS NON-CON)

7. Finality:

“What are you doing here?”

“Saying goodbye.” Bakura’s translucent arms swept across the graveyard. “Is this not an appropriate place for it?”

(First two or so bits of dialogue as the first first is a generic question. You can tell this is one of the really old ones just by that but it's a sweet, sad little Tendershipper that still has a special place in my heart.)

8. Pieces of You:

Glitter caught the light, leaving shimmering trails in the air as it got everywhere.

(Glittershipping, Anzu x Kisara. Another one that's special to me. Kisara is my girl and my first writing muse. <3)

9. Cambodia:

“It was summer of fifty three...”

“Wait a minute, wait a minute, it can't have been fifty three. You might be that ancient but I'm not. It must have been sixty three.”

(Jiishipping. Yes. Sugoroku x Arthur. HEY, IT CAME UP IN THE RANDOM DRAW FOR THE SHIPPING CONTEST OK. And my writer's brain hasn't backed down from a challenge yet... Another one that takes 4 lines to pop off but it's a good start. Actually, here's the rest of the bit just because I cannot get enough of these two bickering:)

“What do you mean it must have been sixty three? You don't even know what story I'm trying to tell.”

“Am I in it?”

“What?”

“So you're deaf now as well as daft? AM I IN IT?”

“Of course you're in it, y'old coot. Don't know why I'd tell a story without you in it when both grandkids are sitting here.”

10. Coffee and Cigarettes:

"Cigarettes and coffee? That's not a very healthy lunch." 

Mana crossed her legs and took a refined sip of her own coffee even as her company was not. 

(Mischiefshipping, Mana x Thief King Bakura. Oh this one I'm actually sad that it doesn't immediately sparkle in the first line cause it's one of my absolute favorites of everything I've written. And I think it's the only time I've ever written Mana but I LOVED IT AND HER. Oh no! I lied, I've written her at least one other time though I don't think that one quite captures her sheer chaos energy like this one does.)

11. A Million Missed Chances:

Somewhere along the line, someone made a choice.

(This one. THIS ONE. I think this is by far the most epic idea I've tackled. I still don't know if the sheer scale of the thing came across in the actual fic but in my head it was massive and I remember pounding away at my teeny tiny laptop late at night because the whole thing hit me maybe a day or so before the story was due for the pairings contest. We only had a week to write each fic and my really good ideas never came to me before the very last minute. T.T Conquestshipping, Mai x Valon.)

12. A Fear of Falling:

She drove.

Like she always did when something bothered her.

(Oh the first chapter on this is also one of the really ancient ones. Like one of the very first things I wrote. That first chapter really shows its age and is a little shaky but the others are better and the last one is what fits into the chorological order here. Polarshipping, Jou x Mai. One of my very first ships. Probably THE first actually <3)

13. What Our Creators Make Us:

"Well, well." The match flared, scattering dark shadows until it was blown out and the only light that remained was the red glow from the cigarette end. "I didn't think I'd ever see you again."

(Psychoshipping, Marik x Spirit of the Ring Bakura. With a bit of Bronze, Angst and Tender in the follow up. Old but I'm ridiculously proud of it, hence it's place in the master archive. Ahaha you can tell how old it is though by how clever I think I am. I thought it was funny to make my audience figure out who was talking and not reveal the characters for a good fourth to third of the fic. Ahhhhhhh. Sorry about past me.)

14. A Revolution of the Spirit:

It wasn't fair.  It just wasn't.

That they were close was understandable (you don't get much closer than sharing headspace) but that even now, after deals were made with gods, endless arguments, compromises and the ultimate guilt trip that he had only been a teenager when he willingly sacrificed himself for all of humanity, things she had only half seen and only partly understood even though they had all been there to witness, that even now Atem continued to invade Yugi's personal space as though he belonged there got on her nerves.

(Woah Nelly! That third sentence should probably be three, four and five. Even if I just split it in half we'd continue the pattern of things popping off in the fourth line. I think that's one pattern that's emerging! A really good bit takes me about four lines to set up and deliver! Oh, the challenge was Revolutionshipping, Anzu x Atem, but the fic is actually Spiritshipping, Anzu x Yugi x Atem.)

So confession time, I haven't been out of fandom completely, I just hadn't written my own standalone stories in a very long time. There are a few (ok ok more than a few) long-running rps that @miss-moberg and I have been adding to on and off over the years. I can't resist throwing in a couple of these.

15. Cafe!

The door shut behind them with the soft click of the latch and the exhale of a breath long held.

(This opening line was from December of 2020 when we rebooted a very old Prideshipper and that is a damn good opening line if I do say so myself. I can definitely see the difference now between the newer works and the older ones. I've gotten better, she's matched me pace for pace and eventually something will be finished, I'll work up the courage to ask permission to post it and the whole internet will get to see how brilliant the two of us are together.)

16. Treasure Hunt!

"Ryou, I think you're going to regret letting me tag along on your adventuring this time."  Yugi didn't bother turning away from the airplane's tiny window to see if his seatmate was paying attention.  He was more thinking out loud with his friend playing the role of a convenient sounding board.  "Because I think this trip is the only thing I'm going to talk about ever again."

(One more from RP because it's got that fun, four line punch that we've discovered is a pattern for me! Opening entry is from 2017.)

Also, in truth, my count is a little off when I say I'd been out of fandom 10+ years. I've been away from YGO for that long but I did spend a brief stint in Homestuck where I read a ton of fanfic, flirted with a couple group RPs and even wrote a tiny bit. 9 years without writing a new fic isn't as impressive as saying ‘over a decade’ but it is a little more accurate.

17. What You Will:

In the land of fair Illyria, along a small, sandy stretch of its rocky shore, a ship has come to ruin and one lone woman lies still as death among broken wood.

(The beginning of a Homestuck/Twelfth Night crossover that I'm still determined to work more on someday. It's only got a single chapter but it's magic though now I'm concerned about not being able to recapture that. Not a bad first line though. The style is so different it took me reading it a couple times before going, oh yeeeeeah, that's pretty good!)

18. Relentless:

You pull him to the deck and then across it by the remains of his shirt. Let him say one last goodbye. His ship pillaged, his crew murdered, his hands bound behind his back and at your mercy.

Funny word, that. Mercy.

(The first line is pretty decent but there's that four line combo again! Five but I could basically fix that with a comma. Featuring the troll ancestors Mindfang and Dualscar because every time Hussey introduced new characters they were instantly my favorite.) 

19. Black:

There is dark and there is dark and there is dark and then there is black. She is black. Licorice and coal. She is hate and resentment and everything that tastes bitter, the kind of black that coats the tongue like oil, drips down the back of the throat and keeps going.

(Oh wow. Am I allowed to say that about my own work? A Terezi/Vriska drabble that I'm putting as much here as I think I can get away with because it's so good that it fucks me up a little going back and reading it.)

And here it gets tricky because I think the more recent of the old, old fics are in the Drabbles and Shorts collection on ff.net and I can't see a post date. So I'll just pick a good one to end on.

20. Two Princes:

It was inevitable as the rising of Ra's chariot after a long night, as the flooding of the river banks every spring, and Atem always knew that Yugi's kiss would be as warm and gentle as the evening breeze in the summer that brought relief from the scorching day. It was.

(How about the final honor going to more Puzzle/Blind? This probably has the strongest first line of its era. Actually I'm not sure when it was written. It was just hanging out in my writing folder and, thinking about it, I probably wrote it when I was fading from fandom the first time around but still trying to hang in there. No wait! That’s too sad, we can’t end on that! Lets add one more to the list for the sake of personal narrative!)

21. Linger:

The world doesn't need him anymore. It doesn't need his sword and it doesn't need his pen.

(A tiny Princess Tutu afterward that I wrote for myself. Nice one-two punch in the opener. Also it rounds out the personal story that accidentally developed here with a line later in the fic, "Words, however, never stray far from a good writer..." Like, wait, stop. Past me, how did you know T.T)

Did that take a sudden emotional turn for anyone else or was that just me. Can I offset that a little with an honorable mention? Let’s do that while I collect myself. Here’s one more.

Honorable mention: Ryou and the Thief

There was a storm gathering and too much magic in the air. Much more than occurred naturally and magic at this level was never a good thing.

(I can’t have a list of things I’ve written without having Ryou and the Thief on it. If you click on this one though, BEWARE, it’s old, it’s silly and it has a ton of explicit gay sex that… would be written very differently if we were handling it today I’m sure! This is the first RP @miss-moberg and I ever did together and our excuse to Gemship and Puzzleship turned into us running the boys through a whole adventure based on the Osiris myth. It’s the longest thing I’ve ever completed and I’d still consider it kind of my legacy.)

And that’s the last 21(+1!) stories that I’ve written! 

The clear winner of best first line for me is 15. Cafe! It’s short, elegant and manages to contain a whole mood even without the context of what’s going on and who’s involved. (Spoilers: It’s Seto and Mokuba making an AU escape from Gozoboro.) Close second is Tango, the most recent story. It’s neat to see just how much better I’ve gotten and also really cool to see that even if the first line itself doesn’t contain a punch, it’s usually because there’s a nice, strong idea being set up and delivered in the first four lines (or so). What a pleasant surprise!

AND WOW, this whole tag thing didn't need to be so long! Or personal! Seriously, if you get this tag from me the challenge is only to list the first lines to 20 stories and maybe try to draw one or two conclusions from them. You all thought I was joking when I said I loved talking about my own writing! But actually, I guess it’s fine like this as I ended up using it as a way to re-introduce myself. Like, "Hey, I used to live here a long time ago and oh my god I love what you've done with the place!" Rather than being someone who's just popped up out of nowhere a few weeks ago to creepily bother all your best of the best creators so....

Before school both Yashiro and Kou texted you saying they couldn’t make it today, and your immediate thought was that it was going to be Hanako and you alone together. This thought was getting you excited, and all day you were thinking of what you were going to do once the day was over.

You were on the edge of your seat waiting for the bell to ring—your thoughts were getting the better of you and it was driving you insane. When that familiar ‘ding’ finally went off you wasted no time in getting to the bathroom. Your friends just assumed based on your body language and the fact that you rushed to the bathroom that you needed to actually use the bathroom—it was for the better that they believed that.

You took a deep breath before you walked in, but its calming effects were ultimately useless when you saw Hanako. You stayed still and didn’t say a word—not wanting to rush things.

Hanako came up behind you and put his arms around you—one right below your chest and the other around your waist—then put his head right on your shoulder and in his usual teasing tone he whispered, “I guess it’s just us today~” he hugged tighter, “and I can tell you’re already having naughty thoughts~”

He was just teasing, so he wasn’t prepared for what you were going to do next: you turned your head towards his and gave a lazy smirk, “So what if I am?~ What’cha gonna do about it, Hanako?~” and at this his face turned bright red, but he didn’t move.

You broke from his loosened grasp and knocked him down to the ground. You sat down on him, then took his wrists in your hands and held them on the ground on either side of his head; you stayed sitting while you laid your body down against him and held your head right by his neck. The feeling of your chest pressed against his own was really getting him going. You lightly breathed against his neck before slowly kissing it.  In response he started breathing a lot heavier and let out small hums of pleasure.

You were slowly increasing your pressure and you kissed his neck all over, but once you found his sweet spot you didn’t waste a second and attacked it mercilessly. At this he was now letting out low moans, and it was like music to your ears—you loved hearing him moan; knowing you were making him feel so good was a great feeling for you and it really boosted your confidence.

After a while you were done with his neck and decided to move on. You sat upright again, relaxed your shoulders, and looked down at him. You gave him another lazy smirk before slowly undressing (Just pretend the uniform isn’t a dress and is like other school uniforms). You start by taking off your vest then slowly unbuttoning your shirt. Hanako watched intently—obviously getting impatient that you’re taking so long.

But after all the buttons were undone, you stopped. Hanako clearly wasn’t happy about that, and was about to ask you why you stopped when you hushed him.

“Hanako, save your voice for later. If you don’t you’ll regret it.” And he only nodded.

This whole vibe was new to him—usually you were always getting flustered at his actions and were overall pretty submissive, but today was his first real time seeing you take charge. Not like he minded though, he actually really enjoyed this side of you.

You leaned forward and put your hands on his chest, and gave him one more sly look before grinding on top of him. He gasped before hums and moans started slipping out.

“Oh yeah, y/n~ ah! Mmmmmm~”

You kept at it for a few more minutes before deciding to take it one step further. You slowly eased your pace before moving back a bit. At first he was a little disappointed, but that quickly changed when he felt you unbuttoning his pants.

At this point you didn’t care if it hurt at first, you just needed him inside you. Because of this, once you had taken your skirt and panties off you immediately started riding him.

“Mmmmmmm~ Y/n~ J-just like that, yeah, ahhhhhhh~” His eyes were already rolling back, but you were too lost in the pleasure yourself to notice.

You noticed him staring and you smirked, “Like what you see?” to which he gave a light chuckle and and respond with “the view’s not bad.” Which made you laugh as well.

Hearing you laugh such a pure and beautiful laugh made Hanako look and feel more lovestruck than he had in a while. You stopped laughing and just smiled at him.

You you suddenly got an idea and your face turned into a devilish smirk. You chuckled deeply, and before Hanako could respond you had said, “so how bout round two?”

He knew he couldn’t say no, so he just agreed without complaint or hesitation, however you took this differently and assumed he was just as eager as you were. So right off the bat you showed no mercy.

Before I start I am already emotional. my hands are sweating. my heart is pounding. are those tears in my eyes or am i exhausted? idk. ok here we go...

1) fuck yes. snaps. love a song with snaps. A BEAUTIFUL BREAKUP SONG ABOUT HOW YOU JUST DONT EFING CARE ANYMORE. ahhh i love how there is like this build up and you think it’s going to be a headbanger of a chorus but then it just stops and it’s like...oh wait actually this is v calm right now i just dont care about you anymore. but also OMG SHE JUST LAUGHED ummm also I love how upbeat this is. i guess what im saying is that WANEGBT walked so I Forgot That You Existed could run.

10) I feel like taylor’s got a lot of happy sounding songs that are breakup songs and a lot of sad sounding songs that are actually about being in love on this album it’s so interesting!!! like this is a breakup song and wow everything about it is upbeat and pop-y. “trying to find a part of me you didn’t take up” (I FEEL THIS SO HARD WOW). love the boarded up house metaphors and like just everything else i CANT THINK FAST ENOUGH god idk why I committed to writing all my thoughts....

I’d like to have pre-orders open the last week of May and the actual release date to be toward the end of July. As soon as pre-orders open, I’ll let ya’ll know~!! :D

It’s a romance story, with a happy ending. (and that’s not a spoiler, I want my readers not worry about the ending while they read, I just want them to read and enjoy the story as it’s happening) I think there needs to be more happy endings in the world, because that’s what people need right now. I know a lot of people out there think happy endings are boring or unrealistic, but I don’t write for them and they shouldn’t read it. My story is for people who need a happy ending in their life and who believe that such things should exist.

That morning, Iwaizumi brushed his teeth and as usual everything in life was the same – with the exception of his reflection. Okay, well, maybe it wasn’t that unusual, he knew he was looking at himself but he was different. Everyday was something different.

His stomach was rounder, rounder than it was yesterday and his face was more full. He definitely gained at least five pounds in as many weeks. But that wasn’t really a bad thing, he was pregnant after all. It had been so long since his last pregnancy, that everything he was experiencing suddenly felt new again. Even though, it really wasn’t.

“Good morning~!” Oikawa sleepily dragged his feet into the bathroom, he wrapped his arms low around his omega’s waist and breathed in his freshly pregnant scent, “Ahh, you smell so good…I forgot how good you smell when your pregnant.”

Iwaizumi rolled his eyes and he grabbed Oikawa’s toothbrush and waved it at him, “Your breath is making me nauseated.”

Oikawa smiled and kissed Iwaizumi on his cheek, “You know, the kids should be at school, so why don’t you and I have some fun?” Knowing what Oikawa’s intentions were, Iwaizumi smiled, but there was something he’d rather do before, “I’d at least like to have some breakfast first.”

“Right, well do you mind getting something started and I’ll join you after I wash up?”

“Sure.”

Iwaizumi pulled up a pair of sweatpants, he wasn’t even going to bother trying jeans – not with his widening hips and belly beginning to stick out. He smiled to himself, joyous at the changes his body was currently undergoing. Although, yes, this new baby was an accident, a surprise – but he was happy it happened.

He threw on a shirt and went over to the kitchen to begin cooking up some breakfast.

Once in the kitchen, Iwaizumi peeked into the rice cooker, and was surprised to see some rice already made. Kouki must have made some rice before him and Kazumi left for school. Good, one less thing for him to make.

Iwaizumi then took out two pans and set them on the stove, on one he began to fry some eggs and on the other he began to cook some chicken.

A few moments later, Oikawa entered the kitchen, smiling, “Ohh, what smells so good?”

“The spices –,”

“The spices you use to cook don’t normally smell so sweet.” Oikawa explained, “You know, I think that lovely scent is you.”

Iwaizumi blushed, he shook his head and looked away.

Iwaizumi changed the temperature on the stove to low, he then turned around and kissed Oikawa on the cheek.

Iwaizumi wrapped his arms around Oikawa’s back, bringing him in as close as he possibly could. Iwaizumi’s baby bump pressed against Oikawa, the alpha let out an excited grunt before making a trail of kisses down his cheek to the toward his shoulder.

“I love you…” Oikawa said, in a low, guttural tone, “I love you so much.”

Iwaizumi laughed, and said, “I love you too,”

But before they could express their love any further, the sound of a door opening and closing pulled them out of their spell.

Oikawa spun around and peeked outside the kitchen to see Kazumi stumbling out from the hall and toward the door. It looked like one of their children didn’t leave to school when she was supposed to.

“Someone slept through their alarm again.” Oikawa teased.

“Kazumi, you need to eat before you go.” Iwaizumi said, no child of his was going to school hungry, “Breakfast is almost done, have some and then we’ll drive you to school.”

“But –,”

“It’s fine, we’ll say we took you to a doctor’s appointment but we lost your paper excuse.” Oikawa decided as he grabbed three bowls from the dish cabinet.

‘Beep. Beep. Beep.’ My annoying digital alarm clock buzzes way too loudly, a sound I should be used to by the number of times I’ve heard it, but nevertheless, I wake up groaning as I slap my hand on top of the black metal box on my bedside table, shutting it up immediately.

Barely two seconds has passed before my hand has reached out for my phone, opening up every single one of all those social media apps on my homescreen, from tumblr and instagram to kakao talk and snapchat.

The moment I open Tumblr, my phone freezes, the screen blacks out and it returns to my homescreen, an adorable picture of Jaehyun grinning at the camera.

’…Okay…’ I think to myself as I try again, clicking on that dark blue icon with the white ’t’ in the middle; this time, it opens, but the revolving white symbol which seems to be going on forever annoys me - but finally it loads, and I see the reason why my phone spazzed out in the first place.

That’s when I notice the abnormal italic writing on my left wrist, just on top of the blood vessels below my palm. It looks like I had written something in my handwriting, in my black inky pen I used to write quotes on my wrist all the time during my younger years, filled with hopeless immature dreams of meeting 'The One’.

'I will still feel the same.’ I read out loud from the once clear skin on my wrist. I’ll still feel the same… In what circumstance would someone say that to me the first time I see them…?

I shake off my thoughts with the fact that this was all meant to be, and reply to Keylin’s spam with a picture of the text on my wrist.

'This is all so weird though, we all just woke up with this??’

‘Honestly me neither’ I type out after a long minute of reconsideration about why those might be The Words. She doesn’t reply.

I've only read the one message saying 'DUDE' when my phone rings, and Jaehyun's face pops up; my eyes widen for a fraction of a second as my heart feels like it's somewhat been elevated, filled, beating faster than ever - until my memory goes back to me telling Claire to put my contact as Taeyong and that I'll put her as Jaehyun.

'Annyeong Jaehyun-ah.' I speak down the line, and hear a confused 'huh?' from the other side, which makes me chuckle as I explain to her the reason for me saying that.

'Ohhhh right, of course.' She says, laughing. 'Did you hear about what happened?'

'CHAEYONGGG.' I continue, laughing away as I pick out my clothes from my wardrobe, a short-ish black dress with some black tights, and I hear Claire laugh quietly but somewhat shyly from the other end of the line.

'Taerin. I prefer Taerin.' She says, laughing. 'What does yours say though?'

'I will still feel the same.' I read out, feeling a smile unconsciously form on my face.

'Ahh okay, I have to go now, um, I'm out and yeah sorry ok bye!' She suddenly says, and before I can reply, I realise I am left on my own on the phone line.

'Ok...um...bye...' I feel the need to say before I press the red 'hang up' button and start to get dressed.

An hour later, I'm in my car, driving to the airport to pick up Keylin; SM was having a major concert/fan sign event in London, so she had decided to fly here from Florida and stay at my apartment.

I was already super excited about meeting her in person for the first time, and I remember thinking back to that time when we had discussed what it would be like if we had met up in real life.

'I dont even want to imagine what it would be like if we met up tho omg we’d actually go insane i can imagine us just saying a whole load of random shit at the exact same time then just laughing and fuck gurl'

Every step I take with my heels clicking beneath my feet make me somewhat nervous, for no reason whatsoever, but the feeling of excitement I feel is way more overwhelming; it felt weird that I was actually going to meet her now.

Eventually I arrive, and I am on my phone, scrolling through endless posts related to kpop on my tumblr whilst listening to music, and occasionally looking up to see if she was coming, though I didn't quite know what to expect in terms of her appearance.

I glance at the announcement board; they're at the security check now? So hopefully she'll be through those double doors any minute.

Ten minutes later, I'm still there, standing there leaning against the metal railing with my chin resting on my hands, my arms themselves positioned on the cold shiny metal as my tired eyes stay fixed on the two sets of double doors, which open and close frequently as people with heavy suitcases walk through them.

As I watch them, the doors open again and a somewhat short girl with shoulder-length blonde hair walks through them, dragging her suitcase behind her using both her hands, and seeming to struggle but trying to walk as casually as possible.

'Omg BITCH!' She almost screams as I run up to her and hug her tightly, hugging me back just as tight.

'Oh my fucking god you HOE.' I laugh. 'Bitch you're even more beautiful in real life, I'm sure Taemin won't be able to RESIST you when he sees you.'

She goes a bit red, laughing, but flicks her hair like that sarcastic, bold girl I knew her to be.

its here, its time for the grand finale! The final five was two newbies, three returnees, all nuCahaya and all with a hunger to pull out the win. Michael, the veteran who had played most recently whose tight bonds with his allies had brought him to this stage. Trent, whose cutthroat deception had been crucial in the season’s events, but whose betrayals left the jury sore at their treatment. Jess, the resident crackhead, who had played a glue role between her many allies keeping the fragmented alliance pushing, but whose games was perhaps invisible to the jury. Olivia, whose balancing of social, strategic and physical game play had set her up as arguably the biggest all rounder, and major endgame threat... And of course, Anabel, whose social game and self-awareness had ensured she had handled her game with grace, and had the unique balance of significant influence over the season’s events, without scorning the jury...

At the final five, after Jess scooped up immunity, it was finally time for a nuCahaya vote out. While Olivia remained a major jury threat, Michael entered the spotlight due to a perception that given that he seemingly directed the alliance, and his large personality, would mean he was credited for the alliance’s work. After Michael called out the tribe mates during his exit, he was sent to jury, highlighting Olivia’s obvious jury threat status on his way out.

At final four, the final immunity challenge was do-or-die for Olivia, but after an impressive challenge performance from Anabel, Anabel stormed to victory in the FIC, earning that last gem in what was to be her winner’s crown. Despite Olivia’s campaigning, the obvious ‘winner energy’ meant she became the final juror.

At FTC, while the jury was critical of all three player’s games, Jess’ treatment of the minority, ‘playing dumb’, was criticised, as was Trent’s consistent, and on occasion, unnecessary lies. Anabel was largely praised, for being open to making moves, for the tact she showed in voting jurors out and for her overall legend status?

At the winner reveal, Isaac & Anabel decisively won Fan Favourite for their charisma and entertainment value, Olivia was the clear POTS for her all rounded game and Anabel was also the winner of the season 7-1-1, bringing the season to a phenomenal end.

TRENT

Last round was pretty simple. I knew I had to win immunity (well i thought i did because i figured stoner would go hard for it) so i gave it my all and won. Then of course stoner starts the lie about the idol. Which I knew immediately was a lie because I've figured out the torches and that it was saying I had the one idol. The problem was trying to convince the rest to not split the votes and freak out. So I did a hail mary right before immunity results. Promised to my tribe that no matter what I wasn't splitting, and if this is the time they wanted to take a shot at me they could. They all agreed to not split and just go all in on stoner. LUCKILY i won immunity so i had nothing to worry about. It seems like most people ended up voting for stoner except for 1 of the 5. I'm pretty sure that was Olivia. Shes been playing a very sneaky game so far and so i'm hoping she doesnt win immunity this week. I think I can get anabel and jess to vote her out if she does not. Then it's final 4.

I'M SO HAPPY I WON FINAL 4 IMMUNITY! I genuinely thought had I not have won there was a GOOD chance I was getting 5th so I'm feeling #blessed. But now I have to make a CRUCIAL decision for my game. I think at this point I've already lost this game considering who is on the jury. I think the other 4 have managed to piss off way less people than I have and I simply just sometimes rub people off the wrong way. There is no way I'm coming out of this vote clean. I just need to figure out how to play this. As much as I want to keep lying to these people... I've basically been in a 3 person alliance between everyone left. I have one with Anabel and Trent. The other with Michael and Olivia. Either way I'm breaking a final 3 and potentially pissing two people off. I need to figure out the best route here. This is my thought process on what to do: Michael: He has played the best social game of anyone left. He has only received ONE vote all game, hasn't had to rely on Immunity, and I believe he has the jury in his good graces. He can also take credit in creating the Flying Money's and it could be argued he played a giant role in some major moves. Right now I'm leaning towards voting for him. Olivia: Olivia and I have played similar games I believe. I think we have been equally social, both were labelled immunity threats, and I believe she may have the jury also in her good graces. She is also super driven and the biggest FIC threat. Trent: Trent could convince someone with 20/20 vision that the sky is green if he wanted to. He could get credit for being a major player in some major moves this season. He has the whole "Newbie on a tribe filled with vets and survived pre-merge" and "Newbie on a majority vets merge and survived" edit. He might also claim that Anabel was his "puppet" (fucking straight males. Am I right?). Anabel: She played a super under the radar game, she let the big players take each other out and received a lot of votes this season and still survived. She might even play up the fact that she was able to get people to believe she was inactive and such as a strategy? idk. I want her at the end and I think everyone else does too...

A bitch isn't immune so I could get wrecked here. I love and adore both Trent and Olivia and they both are arguably the two people I believe I was closest with in this game. Either decision I make is going to impact me in my chances to win and I'm going to end up hurting someone :\ SPEAKING OF CHANCES TO WIN.. the way Michael left really scares me. I know my chances to win may be slim here but... I'm really scared he's going to try his best to fuck shit up in jury and make sure people hate me. well.... its over. im really happy that i got to play in this season, i know that some of my gameplay was not well-recieved but every single one of these people has really made my life better. this has been a really great experience and even if i dont win im satisfied with how i played and everything that i did and i hope that even if my game isnt respected, i certainly hope i am. love this cast, these hosts, just sm love in general.
