mikeyway: We ain’t getting any younger, but it’s fun to pretend! Presale goes live at 10 am PT - head to the link in my bio for info @whenwewereyoungfest
Despite the cover/title art, we don't get flashbacks, yet again. However, we might get some coming up pretty soon. Since Snake has a big choice to make, we might focus on his backstory more than Finny's.
So, now Snake knows that Doll is one of the "people" benefiting from the blood collections... and presumably from organs, too.
Then the two main staff ladies stand in front in a move to protect Doll, I assume.
Theo questions them and directs a lot of his anger towards Doll, it seems. Understandable.
Oliver and Mabel are still holding jars with organs from orphans inside. The head matron pulls out a gun and shoots!
Finny, sweet Finny. He lunges to save Theo and the others, and he catches a bullet to the shoulder.
EDIT: Finny throws the jars at the two ladies; that's why they try to shield themselves!
But throwing the jars hurt his shoulder even more. Poor Finny.
all these Mr Weatherall dances are reminding me that not everyone sees the mardi gras parades and therefore not everyone knows who Mr Weatherall is.. truly upsetting revelation. anyway have an old leon scrap for your troubles
The little boy who died with an unopened packet of biscuits in his hand. The baby girl who died with an uneaten croissant in her fingers. The boy who was playing football with his friend when his head exploded.
All those Palestinian children had futures. And now they’re dead.

Edit:
The first photo is from Ahmed Hijazee (Instagram , Twitter). The child was still alive at the time, she was one of the victim of the bombing of Al Ahli Baptist Hospital in Oct 17, 2023 and then treated at Al Shifa Hospital.
I haven't find the child's name and current condition, if anyone know please feel free to add.
Oct 17 - did more work on transcribing recipes. Also did some medical follow-up stuff, including finally getting around to getting myself set up on the portal site where I can see things like the results of tests/procedures I've had done.
Made a giant pan of banana bread this evening.
Brother made supper, he braised a pile of partridge he'd gotten over the weekend, and served it with egg noodles. Delicious!
I meant to talk about this during the spoiler posts earlier, and I briefly mention the topic, but it slipped my mind to get back to it later on in the second post!
She didn't actually witness the deaths for Joker, Kelvin, Beast, Dagger, Peter, Wendy, or Jumbo. So, how does she know about their deaths? Yeah, our earl says he killed them/had them killed, but ch205 (at least before I have the English translation) makes it look like Doll knows the details. How else would she know to blame Finny for Jumbo's death... or for any of their deaths, unless she has specific information about it?
Undertaker could have simply looked at their cinematic records and told her... or he could have added some of their cinematic records to hers. He shows up to Kelvin's manor in time to see it go up in flames, and we know he takes Doll's body. She's the easiest one to get to. But it's possible that he gets the chance to look at Joker's and Kelvin's cinematic records, even if he decides to leave their bodies behind.
And let's not forget that Sebastian has Baldo and the others put the other bodies into a cart and set it by a back or side gate for Undertaker to collect. That's whatever's left of Beast, Dagger, Jumbo, Peter, and Wendy. Of course, idk if there's enough brains left from Beast to look at her cinematic records. And she's the one who would have known how Dagger died.
Given all that, I suspect that Undertaker simply examined what remains he could, figured out some details of their deaths, and then told Doll what he'd learned. This might include looking at any cinematic records he gained access to.
