one of my favorite things about Elon Musk's purchase of Twitter is that he made it so that anyone who gave Twitter $8 could get the blue checkmark that indicates that the user is verified, so people on Twitter started paying for the verification check so they could impersonate tons of corporations on Twitter and tweet shit that cost some of the corporations billions of dollars in stock

Schedule

I work a few different freelance jobs and so my schedule is constantly in flux. I usually stream weekday at 11:00 AM or 12:00 PM in the EST/EDT timezone. I'll attach my weekly schedule for the current week below:

Content I Stream/Create

I usually stream otome visual novels or joseimuke mobile games. Some of my favorites are Ensemble Stars!! Basic and Music, Bandori, Taisho x Alice, Tears of Themis, Hatoful Boyfriend, and BUSTAFELLOWS.

Sometimes I'll stream variety content such as JRPGs, scuffed karaoke (yes it is always scuffed lol), baking or decorating desserts (rare because this is messy and requires lots of planning!), crocheting, and cozy chatting content. I like to experiment with my content when I have more time in my schedule!

I'm currently working on a larger video project where I summarize the entirety of the Ensemble Stars story backlog and lore on YouTube. The series is still very much a work in progress but I do have a livestream VOD where I explained some basics about the game universe and characters which you can watch here:

I also really love music! I try to hold karaokes as much as I can and I've recently start recording covers songs! You can check out my first cover song below. It would mean a lot to me if you gave it a like as well!

Other than that I do a bit of voice acting, sometimes while I'm playing VNs I'll even try to voice over the characters. But mostly I just record short voice clips and post them to YouTube and TikTok.

Now that I have this page I hope to post some exclusive Tumblr content such as video scripts for my YouTube videos and reviews for games, animes, mangas, and novels! I'll link back to some of those posts when I do create them.

The alarm beeped obnoxiously loud, making Frankie groan. He’d bought one that loud on purpose, so he had no excuse not to wake up no matter what he’d taken the night before. Rolling over, Frankie slapped his hand down on it to silence the damn thing, glancing at the time as he did so.

It had been about 7 last night when his body had finally given in and…

Frankie paused as he began to sit up. Tyler. Tyler had taken him home. Come in. Looked after him and put him to bed.

Climbing out of bed, Frankie wondered if Tyler was still there. Probably not, considering that it was 12 hours later. Pulling on clean clothes for work and dragging a comb through his hair, Frankie looked in the mirror that hung over his drawers. He actually looked decent for once. Like a person. Not quite like his old self yet though. Not quite like the guy before Lorea. Before Tom.

“Fuck.” Frankie muttered. He hadn’t thought about Tom in so long. He’d deliberately not thought about any of the shit that happened in South America. That was what the drugs were for. To shut those memories down.

Glancing around, Frankie found his phone on the bedside table. Fully charged, although he didn’t remember plugging it in. As he unplugged it, the screen lit up. He had three new messages. The first one was from Josh.

[Hey. Finished the edit. Cut the 2nd half out. Dunno if u even want to keep it. Speak to u soon.]

The next was from Gavin.

[U were amazing. C U at work baby]

Frankie rolled his eyes. Fuck that guy. Tyler and Josh had been right. Gavin had waited until he was high to ask about filming. He knew Frankie would never have agreed otherwise. Asshole.

The third message made Frankie’s heart almost stop. It was from Will.

[Hey Fish. Not heard from you in a while. Ben has another fight booked next weekend. Wondering if you wanted to come watch with me? Will. ]

Will. Benny. God, he wanted to see them both so much. Missed them so much. But fuck. He’d fallen so far. Further than they knew.

The last time he’d seen Will was when Maya had called him to drag Frankie out of the house they had once shared. He had been high. So high Maya had been scared out of her mind for herself and Sofia. Will had arrived and practically carried Frankie away. The shame and pity in Will’s eyes had crushed Frankie. So he’d run. Wriggled out of Will’s arms, picked a random direction, and just ran.

The last time Frankie had seen Benny had been in a bar a week later. Benny had tried to talk him into staying with him. Tried to take Frankie home with him, but Frankie had ignored him. Finally Benny went away.

Frankie’s slid his phone into his back pocket and sat back down in the bed. His head was clearer than it had been in a while, and he sighed as he realized that hadn’t been the last time he saw Benny. That had been the last time Benny had seen him.

The last time Frankie had really seen Benny had been in a bar about two months ago. Benny had been out drinking with his gym friends. He and a buddy had gone for a piss and laughed loudly at the three guys fucking in the bathroom stall. Frankie would know that laugh anywhere. Even high, Frankie knew Benny’s laugh. Even as Gavin and some random guy spitroasted him in a grimy dive bar men's room. That was the night Frankie stopped asking Gavin what he was giving him. That was the night he gave up caring.

The clock read 07:30 now. Frankie needed to finish getting ready and head out. Taking a deep breath, he stood and headed towards his bedroom door.

The first thing Frankie noticed as he stepped into the living area of his small apartment was how tidy it was. Not just tidy but clean. No cans or bottles strewn about. No clothes were draped over the chairs or sofa. The floor looked like it had been swept and mopped. All his dishes had been washed, and standing in his kitchenette was Tyler.

“Morning.” Tyler’s honey-colored eyes shined as he smiled to greet Frankie. Looking over towards the sofa, Frankie noticed the blanket neatly folded at one end and couldn’t help but smile. “You hungry? I made breakfast.”

“Morning, Ty.” Frankie smiled back. The heavy weight around his neck and shoulders lifting ever so slightly. “I’m starved.”

The 22-year-old from Atlanta, Ga., last year became the first Black driver to win a race on the Road to Indy Presented by Cooper Tires open-wheel driver development ladder. He achieved that feat at New Jersey Motorsports Park with the Black-owned Force Indy team as part of INDYCAR’s new Race for Equality & Change program. Fast forward 12 months and Rowe is on the cusp of winning the prestigious Cooper Tires USF2000 Championship, along with a scholarship valued at almost $407,000, to ensure graduation onto the next step, the Indy Pro 2000 Championship Presented by Cooper Tires, in 2023.

Rowe, who is also a film studies senior at Pace University in New York, has won five times this year since joining forces with the vastly experienced Pabst Racing team. He holds a 23-point lead in the championship standings with only this weekend’s Cooper Tires USF2000 Grand Prix of Portland triple-header remaining on the 18-race schedule. - Two 45-minute test sessions on Thursday, September 1, will allow the drivers to gain some experience on the 1.964-mile road course prior to the first official practice session at 1:45 p.m. Qualifying at 9:05 a.m. on Friday will set the grid for Race One at 11:20 a.m., with an additional race slated for later in the afternoon at 4:00 p.m. and the finale at 10:15 a.m. on Saturday. All times are PDT.

Myles Rowe could make history this weekend by becoming the first black driver to win a Road to Indy championship. He currently hold a 23-point lead in the championship but there's 97 points left to score this weekend.

Hawks Nip Dawgs in OT Shootout

Hardin Valley Academy 2 (7-6) at Bearden 1

Friday, April 12, 2024 7pm

It took 100 minutes and nine rounds of a P.K. shootout for Hardin Valley to survive Bearden’s late, offensive onslaught, as the visiting Hawks eked out a 2-1 (7-6) overtime win in a Friday night showdown between the two District-4 powers.

The win broke a nine-year losing streak for Hardin Valley versus the Bulldogs. The determined Hawks set the tempo in the first half, scoring midway through the period on a lightning-fast cross and header from in close.

Bearden standout goalkeeper Logan Nelson kept his team in the game with several key saves as the Dawgs struggled to find their offensive momentum. With 15:02 remaining, Jack Raulston scored on a penalty kick after a Hardin Valley handball violation just inside the eighteen, leveling the score at 1-1.

At that point, the Bulldogs mounted a furious attack for the remainder of regulation and the two ten-minute sudden-death overtime periods, outshooting the Hawks 13-3, but could not find the back of the net, and the game went to the penalty shootout.

The entire Bearden side was outstanding throughout the hard-fought contest. Raulston was in constant ‘beast mode,’ risking numerous body parts as he battled fearlessly from start to finish. Noah Price was everywhere on the outside lane, winning balls and forcing the action. Cole Stopka was solid at middle back with timely defensive headers and forward Lucas Ford constantly pushed the ball into the scoring zone on the right side. GK Nelson served double duty as he netted the Bulldog’s fourth P.K. in the shootout, then blocked Hardin Valley’s fourth attempt, but unfortunately the Dawgs could not convert the next kick for the win in the initial 5-shot set.

Goals: HVA-Ben Brophy (18’, assist-Nathan Holbrook). BHS-Jack Raulston (65’, penalty kick). ***Hardin Valley wins shootout 7-6.

Header of a men's magazine from the early 80's. Does anyone gets the change in morals, censorship, etc., in 43 years. One can claim that these magazines were sexist - made for men's pleasure (Id Est - as a teen, wanking off). Well, that's a load of shit - society itself was more sexist and the pro-moral 'majority' was (not) satisfied by slutting down models and shaming readers/users (I'm mixing the 'then' jargon with nowadays reality. Notice the Sex, Drugs & Rock 'n Roll underline. Is this possible today (unless it's an underground fanzine? I don't think so.) And about what I said above, slut, sluttish, is not even a word that should be admitted. ANYONE can do whatever he/she wants with his own body, if not coerced. I have been in the punk/ metal scene since the mid 80's - I did engage with the sound before that, but let's say that 16 years old in the mid 80's was like manhood. Most of us, then or until the mid-90s became addicts - either to chemicals, alcohol, heroin or coke. A third of my teenage friends are dead. Even in a small country (Portugal) the offer to do nude/ porn pics existed. I was invited, but didn't do it (16 at the time), some did - both guys and girls. When the hard drugs came in, a lot of my girl friends (not as in girlfriend - pardon my English) prostitutized themselves. I guess some of my male friends also did it, but they wouldn't admit to that at the point of a gun. I don't have a single bad word for them. Only LOVE. I could have been there.

It was 1984, when I started sniffing glue, taking amphetamines and downers - even before trying hashish (that makes me paranoid) and I started drinking.

By 1990, I was addicted to heroin as (almost) all Lisbon punks.

By then, my first band (C.I.A.neto), became a chaos due to to drugs, alcohol and compulsive military service for some. A band that will disappear in history - we just recorded 2 songs for a compilation, but that was influential in the Lisbon area: 1 or 2 minutes hardcore songs, mixed with experimental jazzy/funky hardcore rock songs. And a NO MEANS NO attitude towards fascists and nazi skinheads - in the following years, after cleaning off drugs of the system and having grown muscle, my third band was decidedly Antifa - by 1995, no fuckin' nazi would even try to get inside a concert where we played.

All these are old stories. I'm an Arts Teacher now - well, mostly I teach Descriptive Geometry (10th, 11th graders love it... No, they, don't).

I'm still fighting fascism. By information, the most I can.

Sadly. I'm still fighting addiction: alcohol and benzodiazepines. I'm 53 now - for me it means it means 40 years of punk metal. In the meanwhile, I still have been an artist (painting) and studied an awful lot of History, Religions and the Occult. Also, Sociology and Marx (that deserves a chapter of his own). I'm a fuckin' walkin' encyclopedia of Rock Music! Ahahah... Of course, I'm not sobber - but hey, the homework is done and tomorrow I only begin at 12:00 AM.

This is not some old fuck talking gibberish. My father was (not now - he's old and sick) one of the great Modernist Portuguese Poets. I have two sisters: the older one is 58, an accomplished theater actress/director; the younger one (from a different marriage) is 27, lost girl, unsure of her feelings, uneasy with her body... Not her fault, not an education fault, but the outcome of a specific time and culture. Getting back to the photo, in 2023 ocidental society, in general, is much more puritan than what it was in 1980. Thank you, Gringos. First, I hated You because I was a communist; then, I hated You because I was an Anarchist; Then, I learned to respect everyone; Then came the Internet... And I Fuckin' Hate the way that American 'culture' and it's Puritan stance makes the rules in Social Media - that, either you like it or not, affects a large part of the world's stances, opinions, acting, etc.
