I felt like doing something new so I took up 2 challenges

1)100 days of drawing

2)30 days of coding

I'm thinking of posting my progress/updates weekly as they might keep me going ~

Day 5 / 100 I was actually testing this paper by veco since i'm planning to buy one (plain) and this painting was actually just a trial yet i didn't expected that the result will be like this :(( 🤗 felt so happy while doing this since I only used the leftover paint from my palette and didn't consume that much white unlike my first 3 paintings of gouache. I guess i'm slowly learning how to balance the amount of water that i need to blend the colors so well. and with the white smear, idk what happened but i've been trying to patch this up but i won't go away, the water just reactivate the paint and viola repeat process. anyways, as a review, the paper did great and it didn't buckle that much (this is for gouache), but for watercolor with intense layering and wet on wet techniques, I would probably not recommend this one. what type of watercolor sketchbook would you recommend for practice? have a great weekends ahead! 🌸
