Thinking again about that stream where Joey Richter said something like "this won't be the first time I've cried this month," back when things were looking pretty bad for the kickstarter, and I just really hope he's crying tears of joy right now.
I hope Corey and Brian and Joey can finally breathe again and feel a little bit of that stress come off of their shoulders. I hope they get to just relax for a second after working so so hard. I cannot wait to see what they've got planned for us this year.
Happy 10th Anniversary, Tin Can Bros 💜

The Tin Can Bros have launched a kickstarter to celebrate their 10 year anniversary with SEVEN new projects, and they need our help!
Read on to find out how:
This is Brian Rosenthal, Corey Lubowich and Joey Richter
Tumblr media
You may know them from Team Starkid, or you may know them from their own group the Tin Can Brothers (creators of projects such as Spies Are Forever and the Solve it Squad), formed in 2014. To celebrate 10 years, they’re raising a goal of $200k in order to stage seven projects
They’re currently a week into their campaign and have raised almost $50k with 675 backers. But they still have a way to go! And to help, we need to spread the word
TINLIGHTENMENT PROMO SCHEDULE:
Saturday 10th - The Great Debate
What is it?
A live comedy game show featuring Joey, Brian, Corey and special guests pitted against each other to win a debate. It gets silly!
How will I be able to see it?
Live shows in LA (and potentially other places!) throughout the year, digital tickets, and eventually some ‘episodes’ on youtube!
What can I share?
If you’ve been lucky enough to see past great debates on Patreon, talk about favourite topics and moments!
If you haven’t, share moments and clips from the first public great debate livestream happening on Thursday! (I think - if plans are changed then they’re doing a terrible job letting me help them)
Talk about guests! They talked about a Dropout crossover which I know people have been asking for with Starkid. I don’t know what that is but tell the people that do!
Tuesday 13th - Gross Prophets
What is it?
A brand new comedy musical featuring Joey, Brian and Lauren with music by Ali Gordon and Angela Parrish (shitty broadway! https://youtu.be/AZ-bOPiDqo8?si=F6guq3Pk_lOkCB5B)
How will I be able to see it?
Live shows (some workshop-y) in LA leading up to a run at the Adelaide Fringe, with digital tickets and eventual youtube release
What can I share?
We don’t know a whole lot about this project yet, but we do know it’s got a great cast and creative team - talk about those people!
That it’s going to Adelaide!! Australia is frequently in the top backing countries on kickstarters, and those people finally get a chance to see a TCB show live!
Theories on what the show might involve!
Saturday 17th - SIS at the Fringe
What is it?
An Edinburgh Fringe run of the fucked up Scooby Doo parody, with the original cast!
How will I be able to see it?
Live shows throughout the entire Edinburgh Fringe run in August, or a digital ticket!
What can I share?
This is an existing TCB property, so talk about what you love from the original! Share art, gifs, edits, anything!
That it’s going to Edinburgh! As above, UK fans have been desperate for this for ages, now’s our chance! Make sure people know about it!
Tuesday 20th - Spy Another Day LA and London
What is it?
A live concert screening (Hollywood Bowl meets Rocky Horror!) of Spies with most of the original cast for LA and TCB plus Lauren for London!
How will I be able to see it?
A live show in LA in Spring (likely April) with a digital ticket option, and a live show in London in early September following their SIS fringe run
What can I share?
Like with SIS, anything and everything you love about the original show! Angsty fics, art, memes, it’s all good
Joe Walker. To me personally he’s just A Guy, but some people are still shocked to be learning he’s doing a show again! Get those OG fans to support this!
That it’s going to London. I need Joey doing a passable to decent depending on how much he’s practiced English accent in London! And again, an opportunity for one of the highest backing cities to see them LIVE
Saturday 24th - TCBoB at 54 Below
What is it?
The songs from their musical This Could Be on Broadway in concert at 54 Below in New York City, with Joey, Brian, Lauren, Esther, Bryce and Clark, plus more performers to be announced!
How will I be able to see it?
Live in NYC in November, with a digital ticket option
What can I share?
The first workshop only got a digital ticket release but if you caught that, share favourite parts! And the soundtrack is available, so talk about how fucking good the songs are
The fact that it’s an opportunity for people to hear these songs live!
Tuesday 27th - Intelligent Life
What is it?
A reading of TCB’s queer sci-fi comedy TV pilot
How will I be able to see it?
Live in LA in early Summer, or by digital ticket
What can I share?
Like with Gross Prophets, this is a brand new (to us) project so we don’t know a lot! But we do know it’s gays in space! We love space gays
Remember, these are just ideas. Share anything you personally are excited for and think other people might be interested in! The aim is to make sure people are aware of these projects, what they entail and why they need to happen! Any other way you have of getting the word out about the projects and the campaign in general is valuable!!
Join our discord for more ways to help or to ask questions! https://discord.gg/4VNEBzpA
And if you’re hearing about all this for the first time, check out the campaign! https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/tincanbros/tinlightenment-world-tour

Are you a Tin Can Bros fan interested in seeing more of their genius work? Do you live in/close to the UK or Australia and have you always wanted to see TCB live? Are you disappointed you only became a fan after their run of Spies Are Forever and would you love to see and hear the songs live?
Are you a Team Starkid fan and interested in seeing the creative writing/directing genius of Starkid members Joey Richter, Brian Rosenthal, and Corey Richter? Or are you interested in seeing Starkid members Lauren Lopez, Joey Richter, Brian Rosenthal, Bryce Charles, Curt Mega, Joe Walker, and possibly more on the stage again?
This is your lucky day! The Tin Can Bros (Joey Richter, Brian Rosenthal, and Corey Lubowich) are celebrating their 10 year anniversary with no less than 7 projects (including a run of The Solve It Squad and Live Concert Screenings of Spies Are Forever), in 4 cities across 3 continents (Los Angeles - USA, New York City - USA, London - UK, Edinburgh - Scotland, Adelaide - Australia), and they need your help to make this come to fruition!
They have a kickstarter, the Tinlightenment World Tour (link in the reblog), that they need to get to their goal of 200k dollar in the next 24 days (before March 3rd). They currently have raised 51k so they are just above 25% funded, and we can help them get to 100%!
Still on the fence? If you send me a message with a screenshot of you backing/upping your pledge at least $5, I'll draw you a pixel art doodle of a character of your choice from a Tin Can Bros or Starkid production!

The Led Zeppelin Connection
When Robert Plant was about 10 years old, in 1958, he used to do an Elvis impersonation behind the curtains in his living room, arguably looking for a certain ambience that Elvis’ early records had. He used to have a quiff and spent hours in front of the mirror trying to emulate Elvis’ moves. Both him and Jimmy Page used to listen to Radio Luxembourg, a foreign radio station that at the time was the only way to listen to rock ‘n’ roll music in the UK. It couldn’t always be tuned in and it was staticky, but in their homes with ears to the speakers they would pick up fragments of Fats Domino, Buddy Holly or Elvis Presley. Robert’s parents were worried about the influence rock ‘n’ roll had on their son and one day, while he was listening to his favorite music, even pulled the plug off the radio. He didn’t desist of course and it was through Elvis that he learned about the Delta Blues. Rock ‘n’ roll and R&B records were only found in second-hand shops in the UK back then, left behind by Americans or discarded from jukeboxes, so that’s what Page and Plant focused on separately while Elvis was drafted into the army.
Tumblr media
What sparked Jimmy Page musically, however, even before discovering Chuck Berry in 1956, was Elvis’ rockabilly classic “Baby, Let’s Play House”, which he heard first on that staticky radio. Even though the allusion in the lyrics about living in sin didn’t hit him until years later, that song, he confessed in an interview, turned him on and sent shivers up his spine, so much so that he decided to take up a guitar left behind at his house and learn to play it. Soon enough, he formed a skiffle band and started to emulate solos from guitarists he liked, especially James Burton (who played guitar in Ricky Nelson’s hits and would later play his famous pink Telecaster in Elvis’ TCB band). Like Elvis, Jimmy would bring his guitar to school and sometimes it got confiscated for the day. He bought a record player in 1960 and got the early Elvis records he liked, such as “Lawdy Miss Clawdy” and “Tryin’ to Get to You”. “That music was refreshing”, observed Page many years later, “when all you heard before was Rosemary Clooney”.
Tumblr media
It was only in 1968 however that Page and Plant joined forces and with John Bonham and John Paul Jones formed Led Zeppelin. Rock music had evolved a lot from ‘50s rock ‘n’ roll to 70s hard rock, but Elvis’ influence can be heard everywhere in Robert Plant’s delivery, in some of his stage moves and in the lyrics too (“It's been a long time, been a long time / Been a long lonely, lonely, lonely, lonely, lonely time” - “Rock and Roll” from Led Zeppelin IV). Having watched Elvis for years, Led Zeppelin also learned how to use their bodies on stage to emphasize the feel of the music – striking poses, shaking their hips, thrusting their pelvis and so on. In order to pay homage to how it all started for them, they semi-regularly included Elvis songs in their sets, especially in the long “Whole Lotta Love” medley. It included “That’s Alright, Mama”, “Heartbreak Hotel”, “A Mess of Blues” and others.
The members of Led Zeppelin went to see Elvis live several times over the years, including in 1972 at Madison Square Garden, but it was only in May 1974 that Jimmy Page, Robert Plant and John Bonham were invited to meet him after a concert. Elvis was not a fan of hard rock, but he knew about Led Zeppelin, as they were topping the charts at the time. He would say to his own entourage, “Well, I may not be Led Zeppelin but I can still pack 'em in”. He was actually amused that his step-brother Ricky was really excited that they were in the audience. During the concert that night in Los Angeles he acknowledged them before launching into “Funny How Time Slips Away” with his signature self-deprecating humor, stopping his TCB band and saying that they should all play as if they knew what they were doing because Led Zeppelin was in the audience.
youtube
After the concert they were invited to see Elvis and led into a room full of girls – all copies of Ann Margret, as Robert Plant humorously recalls. They were told by Elvis’ entourage not to discuss music with him, so initially they were starstruck and tongue tied. Elvis, who apparently only knew one of their songs, Stairway to Heaven, didn’t talk to them for a little while, until his interest was sparked by Bonzo mentioning his classic car collection. Elvis knew the band members were famous for the groupies and their libertine behavior on tour, so he asked about that and they hilariously denied everything. Jimmy joked that they rarely did sound checks, but if they did all Robert wanted to sing was Elvis’ songs. Elvis was amused by that and asked him which songs he liked and Robert said that he liked the ones with all the moods, like “Love Me”: “Treat me like a fool / Treat me mean and cruel / But love me”. When they were about to leave, Elvis swung around the door frame, looking quite pleased with himself, and started singing that song to them: “Treat me like a fool…” and Robert promptly replied “Treat me mean and cruel…But love me”. They actually talked and had fun for about 90 minutes together. Members of his Memphis Mafia even checked with him several times because Elvis usually saw people for only 10 minutes.
Tumblr media
Another memorable meeting took place in his Monovale house, also in LA, this time involving John Paul Jones, the bassist of the band, and Richard Cole, the band’s tour manager, who was a friend of Jerry Schilling. When the two arrived with a bottle of Dom Pérignon, they were surprised to find Elvis in his pajamas and slippers watching TV with the MM. Cole, apparently a bit drunk, started to swear in front of everyone and Elvis didn’t approve, especially since his girlfriend Sheila Ryan was present. Accounts differ but one story says that Elvis jumped up in a karate stance and knocked off his watch and another that Elvis simply asked to see Cole’s expensive watch. What happened for sure is that they all started to swap watches, John getting a jewel-encrusted watch from Elvis in exchange for his Mickey Mouse wristwatch. The evening went on pleasantly, with Elvis quoting several Monty Python routines to his new English friends. Towards the end of the evening, Elvis suggested another exchange. He eyed John, who had been the quiet one all night, lowered his pajama pants beneath his robe and in perfect Monty Python fashion said “Let’s swap pants!”. According to Jerry, the more eccentric Cole was shocked into silence, while John and Sheila bursted into laughter.
The last time Elvis Presley and Led Zep crossed paths is bittersweet, as it happened shortly before Elvis’ death in 1977 when their jets met on the runway at the airport. His other step brother, David Stanley, asked Elvis if he could go with the band that night for their concert. Elvis just looked at him and said, “No.” When he asked Elvis why, he said, “Look at the bottom of your paycheck.” As he entered the limo with Elvis David said they sure have a nice jet. Elvis leaned over and reminded him, “They lease their jet from Caesar’s Palace, I own mine.”
Robert Plant kept singing Elvis’ songs on stage throughout his career. Here he’s singing “Little Sister” in 1979 with Rockpile.
youtube
Here he’s sitting on the floor with some records. Note Elvis’ first album is there (thanks Lucy for this).

You can find my other posts on Elvis connections with artists who followed him at this link. So far I’ve written about Jimi Hendrix, Bob Dylan/Andy Warhol, the Clash, Jim Morrison and Quentin Tarantino.

Events In The History And The Life Of Elvis Presley Today On The 18th April In 1975.
18 April 1975 –  Elvis Presley bought a Convair 880 Jet, recently taken out of service by Delta Airlines, for the then-substantial sum of $250,000. After refurbishing, the total exceeded $600,000.
He immediately rechristened it the Lisa Marie.
The plane was in a hangar at Meacham Field in Fort Worth and For months Elvis Presley took great pleasure in flying friends out to check on the progress as the interior of the plane was refurbished to his design requirements are very specific (he bought another plane to make those trips – a smaller Lockheed JetStar). Elvis Presley wanted a seating area, a conference room and a private room in the plane (with space for a reading library in flight). He picked fabrics, decided on color schemes, chose the system audio-visual board and even approved the gold fixtures in the bathrooms (he counted heavily on some of the entrance of Priscilla, too, the aesthetic).
Elvis Presley was particularly pleased with the fact that the design team had previously customized Air Force One. The craft slowly came together as a mixture in a state of airworthiness of the modem function and the elegance of Graceland. He called It Is Fying Graceland.
Close in size to a 707, the Lisa Marie was customized with bed, a bedroom with a queen bed on measure, a bathroom executive with faucets gold attica plush and a sink in the gold, a system of video cassette linked to four televisions and a stereo system with fifty-two speakers and a conference room finished in teak.
It could contain a maximum of 29 people, but usually there would be about eight or 10. When the work of final paint has been applied to the outside, there was a logo ” TCB ” prominent on the tail. Rare Candid B/W Fans Photo Of Him Boarding The 880 Convair Plane Is Commercial Plane The Lisa Marie In Cinncinatti the previous year in 1976.

One Piece Chapter 1101 - Initial Thoughts
Tumblr media
So we're back again for more Kuma backstory
Was starting to think we had gone on an impromptu break but alas TCB was just a little late. We've passed the 1100 mark but there's still more story to tell, so let's see how it goes.
Spoilers for the Chapter, Support the Official Release
Colorspread is for the Vegapunks, plus Vega Force 01, Oda again with his surprise colours didn't expect the mecha to be so blue
Oh also the SJ cover page was Luffy snowboarding which is cool looking
And Luffy is where we kick back off with, but still past time Luffy
Kuma observes from afar Luffy training his Gomu Gomu no Axe
But he's not the only one, Dragon is also nearby, which is probably why Kuma was there
Sir just go interact with your child dammit!
Kuma does note Dragon's familiarity with the island, as well as noting his observation of Luffy nearby living outside the Goa Kingdom
Dragon however seems to take this as a threat, noting Kuma'll have to kill him to keep discussing it, a child is a parent's weak point
Kuma immediately drops the subject because he's not that kinda guy
Buuuuuuut he does go and have a closer look at Monkey D. Luffy
A 16 year old Luffy has been saving the Gomu Gomu no Axe for a particular moment where he'd need to protect a crewmate from an enemy, fitting since it was used against Arlong
The Den Den Mushi causes Kuma to quickly paw out of sight, but Luffy's intuition did in fact sense someone nearby
Kuma's orders from the government involve taking out a raider ship that stole from merchants
But Kuma doesn't kill them, instead taking their wounded and having them return what they stole
True to his word he still writes to Bonney, and Bonney continues to wait by the mailbox for them
Oh you bitch, I know exactly what you're doing with those letters...
Alpha gets the letter and a news coo, but only slots the newspaper
10 letters a month and they're all shredded and discarded
Bonney has been training up her DF though, able to use the Distorted Future powers to make herself stronger
But Conney has been wise to have her hide her powers from Alpha
Also I did not have Jenga confirmed canon on my One Piece bingo card
To maintain the charade too, Alpha gives Bonney a placebo, but even then gotta make it as bitter as possible
Back at Lab 08 much of Egghead is starting to take shape, Punk Records has been made and just needs to be sent to the sky
Punk Hazard was supposed to be like Egghead, y'know before Caesar nuked it and then Aokiji and Akainu decided to duke it out there
Vegapunk's brain slicing is done too, probably easier for Oda to draw, but Kuma is in for the final stages of his operation, and Stussy is also there to attend
Stussy seems to feel that as a clone she doesn't have free will, which Vegapunk refutes, though tbf CP0 don't tend to have free will either Guernica had a whole lament about it when stabbed by Drake
It seems that while the final process is permanent, it's not instant, and Kuma will have about a year of remnant free will
So Kuma decides to write more to Bonney
Didn't even post the letter he sent for her birthday like do you have a heart?
Bonney's 9th birthday involves an extra giant pizza, but when the party winds down a child still misses her father
Kuma has also been quietly aiding the Revolutionaries, despite his bargain
Dragon is forced to respect his silence in this matter, since he's unaware that Kuma is literally risking the deal he made with Saturn by assisting the army
And Bonney does indeed get healed, the scales disappear from her face and she's free to go outside
Except, Alpha is not letting it happen
She claims that Bonney needs to be under supervision until she's 10, but Bonney remember Vegapunk saying she'd be fine after a year
A plan is to be put in motion; Conney knows they're government, having heard them let it slip, but they are missing a lot of information, and they feel like this is why Bonney received no letters
An escort is prepared for Bonney to take the fishermen friends and sail the seas, seek out her father in spite of the government
And the wiliness of Conney pays off, since when 'Conney' is allowed to leave the church, Alpha is none the wiser
There's a bittersweet energy to the fact that the first time Bonney gets to feel the warmth of the sun is when she has to escape being a hostage and a bargaining chip to search for her father
Alpha of course catches on eventually, since Conney can't transform like Bonney can
Their ship is like a pizza too XD
God woman just let it go!
Alpha's literally Geppo-ing to try and catch Bonney, threatening to beat up a child
Bonney thinks back to a memory of her father explaining what Nika looked like, the only information was that his body was rubbery and limitless in a fight
and with Distorted Future, Bonney unleashes her own kind of Nika punch to slap that bitch in the water
News of Bonney's escape will make her a pirate, and in turn, Kuma's origin becomes Bonney's
Annnnnd a break next week, he's earned it this time
It was a nice chapter again, there was a lot of bittersweet elements given that we have the hindsight to know this doesn't go as happily as made out. But the story helps elevate Bonney's character as much as it does Kuma, she's literally just trying to find her father.
It makes me wonder about previous events too, Akainu seemed very concerned about Bonney's escape but that's kinda unlike him for Absolute Justice, plus does that mean we're going to cover how she escaped that? I could see the flashback continuing a single chapter more but I can also see it stopping there, maybe Oda wants to end the year on something big instead?
Still the government had to be additional additional assholes about everything, it's always more than just the pound of flesh they ask for. I mean you could easily just have let her have the letters! I wonder if the memory paw will have had all of Kuma's memories writing them? Maybe Bonney saw them through that?
There's of course intrigue in knowing that Kuma knew about Luffy before Thriller Bark, he sensed something about him it seems, wonder if there's anything to elaborate on that. Because despite being two great characters the only time they ever really interacted was perhaps the worst few weeks of Luffy's life from Sabaody to Marineford. It's also still miffing how Dragon seems to be present but not present y'know? Like I'd say pick a lane but maybe this is just apples and trees (since we know Garp's parenting wasn't much about presence).
But yeah Conney MVP of this chapter with the clever trick, also fuck that bitch Alpha hope she drowned.

Happy STS! Seasons are changing. Tell me how one or more of your characters would react. Are they dressing cozy? Obsessed with everything pumpkin? Have they been prepping for Halloween since last year?
Happy STS Tori. Halloween isn't a thing in the setting of The Clockwork Boy, but I'm going to go for a bit of a what if-type situation here and pretend that it does. With that in mind here's how the TCB gang reacts to Fall.
Jake: Jake considers himself a practical man first and foremost, but that said, he takes one aspect of Halloween super seriously: handing out candy. Jake starts the stockpiling for the night of trick-or-treating just about after the last one has passed. It's not just about quantity, although it is undoubtedly important, but about variety and accounting for dietary requirements, allergies, and so on. Jake is not a rich man, so he can't always deliver the quantities he wants, but he'll be damned before he lets a child, or an adult who's not self-conscious about that kind of thing, leave his doorstep without feeling seen and gifted a delectable treat of some kind.
13: 13 doesn't much care for the colder half of the year, as his body produces less body heat and thus has a problem keeping his head from getting too cold, but he does enjoy Halloween and dressing up. Jake does not know this yet, but 13 plots to rope him into a couple's costume where Jake would dress up as the protagonist of 13's favorite book series Olimar Trent, or his extravagant vigilante alter ego Pearlescent Mask, while 13 dresses up in the comparatively simple costume of Trent's confidant and possible love interest Adrian Disimila.
One: One claims to not care about seasons one way or another, although she is on the record as hating snow. If she were to be fully honest with herself, an activity she actively avoids, One would have to admit she enjoys the smell of roasted apples and spiced wine, which is eaten in The City around fall.
Creator: Surprising absolutely nobody, Creator is an equally big grump about the fall season as he is about anything else. He frequently curses Mother Nature for growing colder and less habitable, and when it comes to fall-based holidays, he has no patience for it. Granted, part of the reason for this is:
3 and 4: Being the mischievous sort, both 3 and his brother 4 consider the run-up to Halloween to be a sacred time for plying their secondary trades as mischief-makers and pranksters. While they mostly keep out of Creator's way for the rest of the year, it is tradition, as much loved by the twins as it is loathed by Creator, that they pull some sort of Halloween-themed prank on him before the night itself. They mostly get away with this by designing pranks that'd require Creator to acknowledge that they managed to scare or trick him, which he is consistently too proud to allow. "The way I see it," as 4 says, "As long as it's just one a year he's not going to bother having us killed over it."
10: Seeing as he is frequently spared 3 and 4's antics because they know very well 10 might actually harm them, 10 doesn't mind the fall. He enjoys the colder weather, and will on occasion stand out on the balconies of The Spire to soak up the cold and rainy weather. 10 considers this some sort of warrior's ritual, but the common consensus among the Clockmen is that he's an idiot.

i just finished all the exam stuff i had today so i can finally breathe. that being said, here’s one of my favorite headcanons i’ve come up with so far :)
-i definitely think the guys thought of each other as husbands,, with their line of work being so risky and with how they cant even do anything abt their relationship bc homophobia was legal and they couldn’t Actually get married,, they might as well just do it themselves yknow. like their relationship is already illegal, why not go as far as they can with it!
-they do have rings that they don’t wear,, they just have them for Symbolism.
-what they really have instead of actually Wearing the rings is something that isn’t as obvious,, something that the symbolism wouldn’t even be guessed at by other people but would still be meaningful to them: tattoos of the date they got assigned to their first mission together!! they’re written in each other’s handwriting and are tattooed below the inner elbow on the arm that they do The Arm Grab Thing with,, so that when they hold each other’s arms their fingertips are right below the tattoo!
-i put thought into what the date would be too,, bc tcb gave us Nothing in regards to this in the show… so i decided on may 26, 1947. may because it’s the bridge between spring and summer and those seasons represent new growth and developments and the like,, which fits their partnership. 26 is the same as the 2878 from one step ahead and how on a phone keypad it spells curts name,, 26 is just a c and an o for curt and owen. and ofc 1947 is 10 years before the russian affair and i just wanted to give them as much time together as i could :) owens tattoo is written in the american way by curt (5.26.47) and curts in the british way by owen (26.5.47)! so yeah that’s their version of wedding rings lol
-not that they could/would actually change their names,, but they were thinking about what they would do if they did; couldn’t decide which name should go first (bc ofc they’d hyphenate them),, so they played rock paper scissors to decide. curt was hoping carvour-mega. owen for mega-carvour. bc they are Those types of people when it comes to stuff like this fhsjhdks. anyway curt won-
-in actuality they would just add the others name onto their own, so mega-carvour for curt and carvour-mega for owen.

Are you excited to see Starkid Innit in London in May? Yeah me too!
But what if I told you you had another chance to see members of Starkid in London?

Joey, Lauren and Brian will be appearing for a Spies are Forever concert screening in London in September!
And maybe you’re thinking “it’s always London, I can’t travel that far”. But guess what? They’re going to Edinburgh too
They’ll be performing Solve it Squad at the Edinburgh Fringe in August and they’ll be there for the whole month so you’ll have plenty of opportunities to catch the show
And if you’re thinking “that’s great for the UK but I’m Australian and they’re never going to come here”, I have good news!
They’re taking their brand new comedy musical Gross Prophets to the Adelaide Fringe in February 2025
These are all part of the season of events Tin Can Bros have planned to celebrate their 10 year anniversary. If you can’t make it to any of these places, these and the other projects they have planned over the next year will have digital tickets so you can watch from anywhere in the world
BUT producing shows and travelling is expensive, so they can only do it with our help!
Check out the Kickstarter for more info and back any amount you can, big or small, to help make this happen and give more people the chance to see Starkid/TCB live! https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/tincanbros/tinlightenment-world-tour

Custom pixel art? Custom pixel art!
Go back Tinlightenment, Tin Can Bros' 10 year anniversary kickstarter at the link at the bottom of this post. Pledge at least $5 USD or up an existing pledge with the same to get a pixelart doodle from me! I'd love to do TCB art specifically obviously but any* fandom is a go as long as you can provide me with a clear reference!
