This isn't going to be S'ria lore since he wasn't here, simply us Yelling about "Thou Will Live, Die, and Know" cutscene
Firstly!!! The music!!!!!! The transitions between the male/female/full choir sections in the beginning, fading into the pipe organ only version when Venat confronts Zodiark's zealots, the complete lack of music while Venat repeats the lines she told us. "They are my meaning and my purpose. My love." SLAMMING back into the solo vocal electric guitar verse with the summoning. The bridge of the song over the section in the void.
The somber quiet vocals-no-instruments part over the beautiful Warrior of Light in the Dying Gasp parallels. And. In the same fleeting moment, thou must live, die, and know...
I'm unwell.
Secondly: it was. Literally so mean of them to show this farewell before the sacrifice.
Thirdly: Holy fuck this was a LINE and a DELIVERY
Fourthly: oh god are they allowed to. show something that is so gore-adjacent, with the game's rating? In the first animations, they make it very clearly that this is her being hurt, so. Hm.
Fifthly: i cannot possibly express how much we love parallel shots. We literally just stared at the screen like :o frantically tapping the screenshot button.
Paralleling whatever these vibes are with Venat to the point that was nearest to true defeat for most WoLs (and more notably for S'ria in Shadowbringers, coming on the tail end of a mental health outlook so bleak that it would surely have had disastrous consequences if happening in the current Final Days state.) it's so. !!!!!!!!!.
And then we went. Hm. I think it's time to go to bed after that, because it's not looking promising.

on the second watch of challengers and noticing when tashi asked if there was anything between the boys and patrick got quiet and waited for art to respond first so he knew what to say (or what not to say). like he looked like a dejected puppy waiting for art’s response and when he actually did respond, it clearly hurt him.
