YET AGAIN I’m struck by the Savitar & Nora idea beam 😅

What ideas? Currently two:

a) s5 Nora actually getting captured by Savitar when she and Barry make their trip back in time, also Nora spills her and Barry’s whole plan to Savitar and calls him “Dad” (because, ofc, she thinks he’s Barry), so now she’s in his lair, at his mercy, and Barry is who-knows-where

b) s7/Present Nora has flashes of s5 Nora—they’re not quite the same person but not quite different either. This is usually during dreams. But for some reason, this intensifies when she and Bart somehow land themselves in s3—now the flashes are more frequent, resembling visions more than dreams…or resembling memories. Maybe they get themselves captured by Savitar, maybe not (they could just cross paths with him frequently but keep evading him), but Bart is very weirded out (and highkey worried) by how much his sister knows about Savitar and the past in general

Thinking a lot about how diet culture has led to this cultural landscape of people mocking cooking content creators for using too much oil when they make large batches of salad dressing or confit. And like you have to sit here and wonder what these people are going through in their own food journey if they think someone is sitting down and drinking three cups of salad dressing (made with 1 cup of olive oil) in a single sitting. Or, for that matter, just fucking drinking down the garlic confit. Homemade mayo? Made with olive oil? Unimaginable, that's clearly ridiculously unhealthy, unlike grocery store mayo. Like... I'm forced to imagine that these people don't make anything ever and so have literally no concept of how it works because otherwise I have to imagine how fucking awful some of the things these people are feeding to their families must be.

Like yeah, eating too much olive oil absolutely is bad for you, but you should probably critically engage with why you're so terrified of the stuff before you start trying to police what other people (whose health you literally know nothing about) are eating.

Ykno the common critique I've seen around is that trimax fights r hard to follow & such. And I've always had the kind of thought of like "I mean sometimes it can be confusing, but if u stop to study it it's really not that bad"

Having a fight analysis post kinda blow up tho I'm seeing ppl comment over and over in the tags about how hard it is to keep up with the fights... and I'm just like. Is it really that confusing? Like genuinely. I thought it was one of those overblown fan critiques but it seems like a Lot of people agree with it.

what the fuck is up with the doctor’s age though. i dont mean like the what is their age that debate’s been had and i think it’s kinda boring but i mean like. tegan calls 13 young. and 1 says to 12 “i thought i’d get younger” and 12 is like “i AM younger!!” and sure that one was maybe part of the running joke but like ??? technically no not really?? and did tegan expect the doctor to age alongside her? did she expect a 70 year old doctor? i mean, valid maybe but wasnt she there when 4 regenerated to 5? and like sure maybe a decade, a decade and a half, is not enough to really see on someone especially when they also get a whole different face at the same time but like??? he did get younger?? right??
