also, yes, i still like this group of kiddos better than the group in the first game. maybe because they mostly treat each other like friends and are actively trying to treat each other like friends (nagito...is a different story, but he's doing his best in his own way) - it's not just makoto running around like we're all friends while everyone else is super suspicious of each other - the fragments are actually friends trying to make each other feel better while they deal with everything - and like. i like them so much better for that.

which is probably supposed to play into the twist re: fragments of despair because then it hurts more when you know that these people were basically junko's peeps, which should be effective! but i already know they're that, and i'm still attached to them.

honestly, other than the teru teru stuff and the compromising mikan stuff in the first case and monokuma consistently and constantly beating up on monomi for shits and giggles. i overall like these parts of the game better.

i don't like the mechanics better (i hate the class trials now, and i hate that they're so much longer, and i hate the changes they made to the mechanics, and i'm so glad i finished nagito's ftes because his ability might actually help me in the trials, and i don't like how the monomono machine stuff has been changed ish but it's still usually better to throw one coin in at a time instead of putting a bunch of coins in all at once. mostly).

but i like the characters better, which gets me more invested in the story.

Kiyotaka Ishimaru - AMAZING CHARACTER, I LOVE HIM SO MUCH, LITERALLY KIN HIM SO MUCH, love the VA, hated his death and trial. - 10/10

Mondo Owada - He's also the best, I love his design, his character, his VA, his motive, his trial, his execution was kinda.... BUT I STILL LOVE MONDO - 10/10

Sonia Nevermind - She's so funny and her ftes are great! So good and love her in trials. Great VA, sondam is awesome. - 9/10

39. Mukuro Ikusaba - Wish she was in THH longer! OMG FAKE-JUNKO WAS SO COOL! Didn't see enough of her to rate higher. - 5.6/10

40. Izuru Kamakura - Cool concept, overrated tho- 5.5/10

41. Junko Enoshima - Cool ch. shit motive. Killed my faves- 5.3/10

42. Imposter/"Byakuya" - Good in SDR2 but didn't see enough of him :( - 5.2/10

43. Usami/Monomi - Cute mascot but I skipped her ALL of her dialogue because she annoyed TF out of me. - 5.1/10

44. Tsumugi Shirogane - GREAT VA but, I kinda don't know what to think about her. - 5.1/10

Neutral:

45. Yasuhiro Hagakure - A bit of a silly-billy, I dunno how he survived. He's closer to like than dislike tho. 5/10

46. Kirumi Tojo - She has the same VA as Hiyoko. HOW. Anyways, talented VA, cool execution, wish we got to see more of her tho. 5/10

47. Monodam - Apparently not as bad at the other ones? Byakuyas VA- 5/10

Neutral-Dislike:

48. Angie Yonaga - PRETTY DESIGN, GREAT VA, still not sure about her tho tbh... 4.6/10

49. Mahiru Koizumi - Boring, annoying, complains alot tbh, had great potential which wasn't used well. - 4.4/10

50. Teruteru Hanamura - Kinda... interesting. Surprisingly humane motive. I actually prefer him to Mahiru now... 4.3/10 (changed to 4.5/10)

Dislike:

51. Miu Iruma - There's alot to say about this girl... uh... 4.2/10

52. Hiyoko Saionji - Insufferable. I hate her, WHINY AND ANNOYING, I skipped all her dialogue. 3/10

53. Hifumi Yamada - I hate him, but I put him in this category bc why not. Skipped all of his dialogue, he annoyed me so much. I ignored him. He killed Taka for no reason. 2.5/10 because he was helpful in one trial.

HATE:

All the Monokubs, except I forgot their names. Incest weirdos, no point in the whole thing. 2/10

Hi, anon! Thank you for the question. Sorry it took me so long to answer😅

13. What is your OTP?

My OTP is probably obvious, it's Oumota. But I also wanna list some of the other pairings from all the games.

From THH I think I enjoyed Aoi and Sakura's relationship the most. However you interpret it, they really form an interesting and kinda unexpected duo. They really care about eachother and their story is very tragic💔

I kinda love Makoto x Kyoko x Byakuya as well. I think they have a very fun dynamic and should all hold hands and care for eachother (even though some might not want to show it).

Also, I like Tokomaru! They're very cute and I like how they supported eachother and helped eachother grow throughout the game!

From Goodbye Despair I think I love Komahina the most. I think they have a very complicated, but interesting relationship. I don't know how to properly articulate my thoughts about them, but I really enjoyed their interactions in game x)

I also like Hajime x Fuyuhiko, their dynamic is also really fun. I like how Fuyuhiko treats Hajime with respect, even though he himself is a yakuza, and even tells him, after Hajime's talent (or rather lack thereof) got revealed, that his opinion on Hinata didn't change a bit. They're kinda similar in a way, and I think they can really get along.

From DRV3, well... I think you only have to take one look at my blog to easily tell that I LOVE oumota. They are literally my everything!! I love them so much!! They have such an interesting dynamic. They are polar opposites yet they have so much in common. They have a lot of shared interests and they can really challenge eachother's worldviews. Also, willingly or not, they've become a really important part of eachother's lives. I think, even though they have a lot of conflicts with eachother, they can find a middle ground, not fully agreeing with other's point of view, but accepting and respecting it. I think if they unite, they'll literally become unstoppable💜💫

Honestly, I could talk about them for ages...

Other ship from V3 that I really like is Saimatsu. Although Kaede wasn't there for long, the interactions they've had were really sweet and heartwarming. Plus, I enjoy their contrast in personalities and designs. And I now always think of them when I hear Clair de Lune💔

I also lately found myself kinda interested in Amamatsu. Their interactions in game are really fun, and they seem to enjoy eachother's company. I was neutral to this pairing, but some fanfics made me really like it.

Also, I've come to really like Tenmiko for the same reason. Even though Tenko's obsession with Himiko is kinda weird, but in Chapter 3 we see, that she really cares about Himiko and want's to help her become more open and active. And Tenko actually is important for Himiko. Too bad she realised it too late. But because of Tenko Himiko actually tried her best to improve. It was hard for her, very hard, but she put all the energy she had to try to become the person Tenko would be proud of.

14. What is your NOTP?

I don't think I have any pairings that I actually hate (with exeption of obvious fucked up shit like pedophilia and incest, but that goes without saying). But there are several ships that I'm not a huge fan of.

One of them is Hyoko x Mikan, it just makes me uncomfortable.

And also I'm not a fan of Saiouma/Oumasai. I don't really have an explaination. Any of the things I don't like about it are probably coming from me not liking this ship, rather than being a reason why I don't like it. So, just not my thing, I guess.

Danganronpa and Pokémon

So like, I've thought about both perspectives of this. What Pokémon/gym leader type would Danganronpa characters have, and what Ultimate Talent Pokémon characters would have? I'm just gonna list THH characters cuz why not.

Oh, also like spoilers for Danganronpa I guess so don't read ahead if like you haven't played these games. Or do, the games are kinda extremely long and painful.

Sayaka Maizono - Psychic/Fairy. Cuz like, all the "I'm psychic" things and Pop Idol is fairy type vibes. Considering both of those things, she'd probably have an ace Gardevoir.

Mukuro Ikusaba - Fighting/Dark/Steel. Mukuro is super vague in like, every way, but she's a military fighter. And she's like, evil. That's about it. With that in mind, though, she'd have an ace Tyranitar or something. Tyranitar is like, canonically super evil and can't feel pain and can't be stopped and whatnot, so that makes sense.

Leon Kuwata - Fighting. There's not really a fitting type for sports? I guess fighting cuz like physical skills??? Maybe he'd have like a Marowak or a Lucario (who uses bone rush like in Pokken) help him practice? Or have like a Machoke/Machamp pitch it for him to hit. I don't know.

Chihiro Fujisaki - Electric/Steel. Bro, they're the coding guy. Electric and Steel are like, the only options. I know I already said Gardevoir for Sayaka, and I stand by that, but it'd be neat if Chihiro had a male Gardevoir. I guess Iron Valiant is also pretty #gender. They aren't electric or steel but they're a robot so like close enough. Fun Fact, Pokémon trainers tend to have more Pokémon of the same gender on their team, so Chihiro having more male Pokémon before/if it isn't revealed would be some funny thing to do. Uh, but their ace would probably be Togedamaru. Cute little steel-electric guy.

Mondo Owada - Dark/Fighting. Dark more likely, probably those dark Pokémon that mention "they aren't actually that bad btw" He'd have a Sableye cuz like Crazy Diamond and whatnot, but he'd have an ace Scrafty. Deliquent and all that.

Kiyotaka Ishimaru - Normal/Fighting. He's just super serious all the time. I say normal because man's ace is 1000% Watchhog. Bro's just so serious all the time. And normal Pokémon probably are less likely to be like, troublemakers.

Hifumi Yamada - Fairy. Look, I'm one of like 2 people who know Hifumi has more of a character than being a simp and a creep, but even then, his team would just be... Y'know. Ace would probably be Lopunny.

Celestia Ludenberg (Taeko Yasuhiro) - Psychic or Dark. Gothitelle. Besides that though, psychic Pokémon would probably be helpful for gambling, (if not illegal) and Dark is just her whole aesthetic.

Sakura Ogami - Fighting. I feel like she'd specifically have Conkeldurr. I don't know why. Ace would most likely be Medicham, though. Super strong, and super wise. Might mega evolve too.

Junko Enoshima - Dragon. Most dragon types are like, super evil, and Dark Type doesn't really suit her. She'd have Giratina if her having a legendary would be so like, logically impossible. Like, in a real world with Pokémon gods, it would not be feasible for a high schooler to catch Pokesatan. Haxorus would be her Ace, super intimidating. Or Hydreigon, that thing is canonically just pure evil.

Makoto Naegi - Normal. I don't need to elaborate on this one at all. He'd have a shiny Blissey, because Lucky.

Kyoko Kirigiri - Ghost. Maybe it'd be sort of odd to have a homicide detective have ghost buddies, maybe that'd be insensitive, but eh. They'd have a Stoutland if they didn't have ghost types for obvious reasons. Ace Chandelure because... honestly, no other ghost type fits, and I imagine as a Litwick they would be like, a lamp on a book she'd read, or something.

Aoi Asahina - Water. Probably Barraskewda ace, because Fast Fish and Swimming Pro. Veluza if Veluza was actually fast stats wise.

Byakuya Togami - Dragon. He probably, actually, most definitely, not have a single type. Dragon is very intimidating and important, so that feels most fitting for him, but he'd probably just have Pokémon that can support him. Alakazam so he can have someone near his massive intelligence, would ride like, a Charizard or something completely exaggerated/absurd. Etc.

Yasuhiro Hagakure - Psychic. He'd probably have like, Unown or something just so he seems important. He still has to canonically not be good at being a psychic, at least in my eyes. If he didn't have that restriction, Xatu. Because he does, Slowbro. Because idiot joke.

Toko Fukawa - Ghost. Because writers have ghost vibes and cause serial killer. Probably mysterious or unique Pokémon, like Sigilyph and whatnot. Ace Froslass because of lore and because Froslass canonically freezes men.

And that's that. This took longer than expected.

I'll do other Danganronpa characters soon enough, and then the other way around for Pokémon gym leaders.

Headcanons for my favorite queer Danganronpa ships (+AroAce Chihiro): Dr1 & Udg~

Celesgiri:

- They are the two who start dating after consistent events of being done with everyone else’s shit together. It was probably the fifth time Leon got his good throwing hand stuck in a pickles jar where they decided to say fuck these people and make out in the closest that night, ditching their friends game night in the middle of charades.

- When Celestia first saw Kyoko’s hands without her gloves on, she was shocked. Not so much because of the scars, but because of the look of shame and discomfort that was blatant in Kyoko’s features. That night they had a talk and Celestia repeatedly told Kyoko that she was beautiful and reassured her that Celestia adored her. That would be the same night where they shared their first “I love you”s.

- Kyoko is one of the very few people who know about Celestia’s vampire fetish and always teases her about it. For Halloween she decided to surprise her by dressing up as one, and Kyoko swears she has never seen Celestia blush so much.

- Celestia loves to teasingly flirt with Kyoko whenever Kyoko is busy. She definitely looked up pick up lines and fancy French terms of endearment to use before Kyoko starts her work. Kyoko always rolls her eyes at Celestia’s antics, but deep down inside they both know they are the highlight of Kyoko’s day.

Ikuzono:

- Sayaka loves to kiss the few scars Mukuro has and has only shown her. It’s always a very intimate and vulnerable moment for the two, and Mukuro always gets a bit worried and insecure when she shows them so Sayaka happily reassures Mukuro that she is beautiful before showering her in kisses.

- Mukuro has definitely beaten up a few guys who have stared at Sayaka for too long in a certain way before. Having an idol for a girlfriend is rough, but thankfully it allows her to flex her amazing strength and muscles, which Sayaka always finds hella attractive and will thank her with a kiss, regardless of whether the paparazzi is there or not.

- Mukuro sometimes has nightmares about Junko. During these nights Sayaka will come in, spoon her, and quietly sing Mukuro back to sleep until she is snoozing again while snuggled up in Sayaka’s arms.

- Mukuro has a wolf onesie while Sayaka has a koala bear onesie and they always have cuddly dates in them at least once a month (once it was every night of the week for two months). Mukuro always gets bashful wearing her onesie, meanwhile Sayaka is just gushing over how cute her girlfriend is.

Tokomaru/Syomaru:

- They always share a bed ever since the udg events. Even when Toko got over her worry about ghosts, they still share a bed and stay up late talking to each other until they both pass out. It’s really helpful for times when one of them has a nightmare as sometimes Toko doesn’t wake up, so Komaru just quietly holds her and soothes Toko as she calms down in her sleep.

- Jill loves to gush on Komaru and show off. She’s actually decently strong, so they will carry Komaru around and bench press her at times to show how strong they are and how they can protect her like how they protect Toko. (Jill is a protector alter for Toko’s DID system, and that protective nature rubs off onto Komaru after they start dating and as Jill grows more and more fond of Komaru)

- Komaru and her girlfriends love to take baths together. It started off when Toko was in a depressive swing and Komaru helped her get through the necessities (cooking Toko meals, brushing her hair, etc.) and it ended up making Toko very happy, so they continued to do it. Toko likes bubble baths and Jill loves bath bombs, and Komaru always brings scented candles so it’s always just a nice relaxing moment between the girlfriends.

- Toko is a little spoon who will never admit that fact out loud, while Jill is a big spoon. Komaru loves it because she constantly gets to be both the big spoon and the little spoon, and cuddle times with her girlfriends always leaves her in a state of pure bliss.

Ishimondo:

- Mondo was probably Taka’s last straw before he accepted the fact that he liked guys. Like he is chill with gay people but he never fully saw himself as one, constantly questioning it but thanks to heteronormativity he repressed those thoughts a bit, and then he looks at Mondo and went “ah, so this is what it means to ‘gay panic’”.

- Mondo likes to follow Taka to help him keep the others in line with school rules. Whenever someone seems to question Taka or is about to berate Taka for being so stringent, they get a death glare from Mondo that reads “you better listen to my boyfriend”. Taka always thinks it’s his authority that makes the others listen out of respect, and Mondo doesn’t have the heart to tell him the truth.

- Bro is their casual tough guy way of a cute pet name for each other. This is mainly because Mondo called Taka babes once, and Taka gay panicked so much that he passed out. Poor baby couldn’t handle how soft it made him. It was both very concerning and very cute to Mondo who ended up watching over Taka until he regained his composure.

-they are like so supportive of everyone else, either being the big gay brothers or the dads of everyone else. They have a mlm-wlw solidity with Sakuraoi where they take care of everyone and all the baby gays. They also have monthly game nights where they playfully compete against each other in a joke battle between the gays and the lesbians. Just lots of lgbtq+ jokes and fluff and support, all in good fun and never any hard feelings towards who wins and who loses. Really they are just a badass yet very considerate and soft couple with one another.

Sakuraoi:

- Aoi definitely asked Sakura out first, and knowing her it was either to get something to eat with her or to work out together. They both really admire each other so they would be down for whatever, but neither is big on PDA in public besides hugging and hand-holding and the occasional kiss on the cheek or pet name. It took the others about a month to realize the two were dating because they were so casual about it and both forgot to tell the others, figuring the other had already done so.

- So much body positivity from both of these girls. For real, imagine comments like Ishimaru accidentally calling Sakura a guy happens all the time, so it probably means the world when Aoi just love spams a million gender neutral and feminine compliments telling Sakura how beautiful she is and how Aoi can’t believe she is dating the most gorgeous woman in the world.

- Meanwhile, Aoi sometimes worries about her weight as she is not only an athlete but also from constantly being judged for eating doughnuts so much and her other comfort foods. But Sakura tells her that those things make her happy and when she is happy she is beautiful because Aoi has the most captivating smile. They both in a way just remind each other that they are both beautiful and loved every day, but both know that the other genuinely means it.

- Sakura is amazing at baking and Aoi melts over the wife material her girlfriend is. Whenever she is stressed, Sakura bakes something with one of the other girls to cheer Aoi up, and they end up having a cuddly sleepover. Aoi in return always makes sure to comfort Sakura whenever she is stressed, with Sakura not being the type to let things get to her often so Aoi is always the worried, accepting, and loving girlfriend when Sakura needs it.

Chihiro:

- They are AroAce, but they are open to QPPs. I see Taka and Mondo being the most likely candidates, but they are more like Chihiro’s gay dads though.

- Chihiro has said sexuality can fuck itself. Taka passed out from both the sheer shock and horror of that moment.

- They probs have the worst anxiety when trying to explain the Aro spectrum and how QPRs work, so they are extremely appreciative for their friends who accept them and love them for who they are.

- They are the softest thing, I would imagine them being an amazing snuggler platonically cause they still love cuddle time, they just ain’t into romance. They are also super supportive and great at being a hype person. They are generally just precious and deserve the world and all the validation it has to offer to them.

Judging the Danganronpa x Sanrio character pairings

You may have already heard that a DANGANRONPA X SANRIO line of crossover merch was announced a few days ago! Which is obviously AMAZING, because they’re combining cutesy characters that have often been marketed to wee children with everybody’s favorite murderdeathkill game! I LOVE IT.

I have a niece who went through a Sanrio/Hello Kitty phase, so I actually know a few of these characters. In turn, this means that I have THOUGHTS on how the DR1 and Sanrio cast were paired up.

Granted, I still had to look up a lot of these guys and read about them. But now I feel adequately educated to the point where I can judge just how well the Danganronpa and Sanrio pairings actually match up.

Makoto Naegi/Cinnamoroll - Obviously this totally works because Makoto IS something of a cinnamon roll, eh? EH? But Cinnamoroll is said to be shy albeit still very friendly. He also likes to seek out fun new adventures. So, aside from “very friendly,” I’m not sure that this sounds like Makoto. I also doubt that calling a character a “cinnamon roll” is common slang in Japan. So this is whatever.

Sayaka Maizono/Wish Me Mell - Mell has the power to connect people’s hearts by simply stating the feelings they keep inside. She was initially withdrawn and believed she didn’t have any friends, but the people who cared for her finally broke through her shell and convinced her that she DOES have friends. So uh, Maizono... I guess music can also bring out people’s feelings? And perhaps you could plausibly HC that Sayaka has often felt like her surrounding friends were “fake” and only there because of her celebrity status. There’s not really much to go on here.

Leon Kuwata/Tiran - Tiran is an orange T-rex that is said to be scatterbrained but still a strong and reliable leader. Meanwhile, Leon has orange hair, and he’s certainly strong and kind of scatterbrained sometimes. It sorta works.

Kyoko Kirigiri/Marroncream - Marroncream is bright, positive, and fashionable. She is talented at making crafts and sweets. She lives in Paris. She has nearly nothing in common with Kyoko, although Kyoko did live abroad a lot in her younger years. So I could try to latch onto the Paris thing.

Hifumi Yamada/Pokopon - Pokopon is a raccoon that loves to read but dislikes ghosts and “the thunder god.” (uh... what?) He also finishes his sentences with the unusual suffix “-das.” Of course, Hifumi loves to write (which certainly is connected to reading), and he likes to end all names with a weird suffix (”-dono”), so I can see how they might make a cute pair.

Kiyotaka Ishimaru/Pekkle - Pekkle is a duck who is good-natured and kind. He loves to sing and dance. It kind of sounds like he should’ve been matched with Sayaka, but instead he’s here with Taka. While Ishimaru is definitely a good person, I don’t think most people would immediately describe him as “kind.” And he certainly isn’t known for his love of music.

Yasuhiro Hagakure/Monkichi - Monkichi is a laid-back, easygoing guy who is upbeat and loves puns. His dream is to become a poet. It’s said that once he sets his mind on something, there is no stopping him! And in comparison, Hagakure is... well, he’s kind of laid-back in the sense that he’s kind of lazy? But he’s actually pretty high-stress a lot of the time, too. Honestly, there’s not much linking the two.

Chihiro Fujisaki/Kurousa and Shirousa - Shirousa is the white one and is the older sibling to Kurousa, the brown one. Shirousa is described as an energetic leader and Kurousa is described as being nice but lazy. They like to make cakes. What does any of this have to do with Chihiro? Beats me. This particular pairing is nonsense.

Byakuya Togami/Badtz-Maru - Badtz-Maru is said to have a bad attitude and dreams of being “the boss of everything” when he grows up. He tends to act a bit selfish, and he mocks things he dislikes/disagrees with. He enjoys expensive food and collecting photos of movie villains. With the exception of that last point, I’d have to say that this sounds like a near-perfect match for Togami.

Mondo Owada/Goropikadon - The Goropikadon are a group of cave boys whose actual names are Goro (blue hair), Pika (pink hair), and Don (teal hair). Goro is always hungry and joking around. PIka is a thoughtful, shy mama’s boy. Don is serious and places a high value on honesty. Overall, I suppose that how quick Mondo is to get angry and resort to violence kind of makes him seem like a stereotypical caveman? But in terms of their distinct personalities, only Don’s focus on honesty rings true for Mondo.

Toko Fukawa/Lloromannic - Another multi-character one. The Llormannic are a pair of creatures named Berry (the black one, who is male) and Cherry (the pink one, who is female). They are mischievous and love to play pranks on humans. Cherry was originally alone and created Berry for companionship; however, she mixed up her magic spell ingredients and used salt when she meant to use sugar, which resulted in Berry turning out to be a more hostile being than Cherry. I suppose the fact that Berry is a darker creation of Cherry’s sort of reflects the relationship between Toko and her other self, Genocide(r) Syo/Jack. However, Berry and Cherry are still best friends. Toko and Syo/Jack are definitely not that.

Celestia Ludenberg/Kuromi - Kuromi is the rival of a bunny named “My Melody” who doesn’t appear in this promotion. Kuromi is said to look “tough and punk” in her jester’s hat with the pink skull on it, but in reality she is very girly. She enjoys writing in her diary, reading romance books, cooking, and checking out good-looking guys. I suppose Celestia did have that dream of living in a mansion where she was served by handsome guys dressed as vampires? So... they both like hot guys? But that’s all I’ve got here. Pretty sure this pairing only exists for aesthetic reasons. And admittedly, their aesthetics mesh very well.

Aoi Asahina/Keroppi - Keroppi lives with his family on the edge of Donut Pond. He is bubbly, a fantastic swimmer and, because of the name of his home pond, is often associated with donuts and/or things that are donut-shaped. Ok, so this was an obvious pairing, then. They nailed it. Probably the single best pairing they came up with.

Sakura Ogami/My Sweet Piano - Yes, the character’s name is literally “My Sweet Piano.” She’s described as soft, kind, and girly. Given Sakura’s secret love of girly things, I can see how this soft, pink, girly sheep would be something she’d love to be around.

Junko Enoshima (...?)/Hello Kitty - Hello Kitty (a.k.a. Kitty White) is described by Sanrio as “cute, bright, sweet, kind-hearted and tomboyish.” They also say that Kitty is very close with her sister, Mimmy. As for Junko... look, the only reason I think maybe this is supposed to be Junko is because Mukuro already has her own Sanrio matchup (see the next entry), but in terms of her appearance, this “Junko” sure looks like it’s “Junkuro.” The telltale sign is that giant bow on the left side of the head, which only Mukuro-as-Junko has ever worn. I doubt we’re supposed to be thinking that they did two Mukuros in two different outfits, though?

It’s like this: If it’s Junko, well, I guess both Junko and Kitty are icons within their respective brands. And Junko tries to put on a “cute and bright” exterior persona, I guess? But that’s pretty thin. On the other hand, if this is Mukuro in disguise, this is actually a semi-decent matchup! Mukuro is arguably tomboyish and certainly very close to her sister (at least from her own perspective), so these two are not without their parallels.

In either case, both Kitty and the Unknown Despair Sister have a big bow on the left side of their head. Which I think is the real reason they’ve been paired, honestly.

Mukuro Ikusaba/Little Twin Stars - Kiki and Lala are a pair of twins that were born on December 24th. Mukuro is one half of a pair of twins ALSO born on December 24th. Instant connection! Kiki (the blue-haired boy) loves fishing and inventing things. He is curious and cheeky. Lala (the pink-haired girl) loves drawing, writing poems, and cooking. She is rather timid. In short, the “twins with the same birthdate” thing is the only thing connecting Mukuro to these two. Still, it’s not bad.

Also, the most amazing thing to come out of this team-up so far HAS TO BE MonoKitty. Hello Kitty cosplaying as our favorite psychotic MurderBear? How great is that? SELL ME MERCH OF MONOKITTY.

Kyoko x Reader: Celebrating a Detective’s birthday

CW: food, mentions of loud noises

It was Kyoko’s birthday and coincidentally, it was the night of a fall festival with fireworks.

Y/N and Kyoko were going to meet up and spend the day wondering around the festival together and Y/N had special plans to watch the fireworks with Kyoko.

Kyoko’s kimono was a gorgeous royal purple and the obi was black to match her gloves and her ribbon.

“I can’t wait to meet up with Y/N tonight and to see what kimono they’re gonna wear tonight. Regardless of what kimono it is, it will look amazing on them.” Kyoko states while smiling.

She gets her phone out and decides to send Y/N a message. ‘Y/N, I’m here, I’m over by the food stalls. Are you nearby?’ SEND.

Little did Kyoko know that Y/N was not too far from her, in fact, they could see Kyoko, looking a little nervous, yet excited for things to come.

No response. That makes Kyoko just kinda stand there, looking around for her S/O. She then hears Y/N’s voice nearby. They eventually catch up to Kyoko, holding yakitori and a choco banana in their hands.

Y/N is wearing a *insert favorite color here* color kimono. “Hey birthday princess, I finally made it! Sakura and Aoi were here too, probably on a date and I had to sneak around them, which was… difficult. But I’m here now and I got some food! Wanna try some?” Y/N exclaims, blushing and smiling.

She gasps quietly. ‘“Birthday princess”? I’ve never been called that before… it’s kinda cute.’ Kyoko thinks to herself.

A pause.

“S-Sure… you look… adorable/handsome/cute, Y/N. That’s a nice color on you by the way…” Kyoko says as she looks away with the yakitori in her hand and takes a bite with a smile.

She’s doing her best with compliments and flattery, honestly and truly guys, she’s just… super shy

Y/N giggles to themself. “Haha, th-thank you. You look absolutely wonderful, K-Kyoko.”

“So, Y/N, would you like to wonder around the area? I’ve never been to a festival before and I’d like to experience everything that I can with you.”

Y/N nods and they play games at the festival and time just FLIES by.

The sun sets and Y/N points at it, grinning real wide.

They look for Kyoko but can’t find her anywhere. “That’s weird, she’s not here, I wonder where she is.”

Then one of the people who Y/N ordered a huge life size cake arrive.

Surprisingly Kyoko knew that she was gonna get a huge chocolate cake with strawberries, so she decided to put a twist on it.

She would somehow GET IN the cake and surprise Y/N by popping out of the cake.

Four people emerge from this fun looking car with cake and ice cream designs on it.

“Where should I put this cake, Mx.?” Person 1 asks and Y/N walks to this flat area that’s close to a small slanted hill that has an extremely good view of the starry night sky.

Y/N wanted to end the night by lighting some fun sparklers and small fireworks after eating some cake.

The people moving the cake set it right next to Y/N and step back. “I really wish Kyoko was here right now, this is her special cake…. Maybe I should give her a call-“

“No! I mean… I heard that she’s around here somewhere..” Person 2 interrupts.

Kyoko can mostly hear everybody while inside of the cake. She doesn’t want to keep her SO waiting, so she pops out of the cake with a smile on her face.

“Hello, S/O. Surprised to see me?” Kyoko asks with a little grin on her face.

Y/N is standing still, trying to process what they’re seeing.

“I- What??? How?? When?? What???” Y/N asks, still at a loss at words.

Kyoko giggles to herself. “Y/N, y… you you have frosting on your nose.

Makoto, by complete luck, walks by Y/N and Kyoko and turns his head to see the two together. “Hey, Kyoko! Hey, Y/N!”

Kyoko and Y/N turn around and see Makoto. Y/N waves at him and smiles. Makoto looks at the cake, trying to figure out what kind of cake it is.

Honest to God he’s having a Hangman’s Gambit moment. Like:

He spells out “KYOKO’S BIRTHDAY”.

“I got it! It’s your birthday, isn’t it Kyoko? How did I not remember today’s date?” Makoto asks.

“It’s alright, Makoto, don’t worry about it. Do you wanna… sit with us? I was originally planning on just being here with my partner but things can change.” Kyoko asks, with a warm smile.

Makoto nods and walks up to them and sits next to them. Person 3 walks up to gives them a cake cutter and the people delivering the cake leave.

Everybody chills out and Y/N gets out some sparklers and lights them. Kyoko smiles and gives Y/N a kiss on the cheek and scoots next to Y/N.

“Thank you for making my birthday really special, my dear Y/N. I love you.”

【Sayaka Maizono】

• This girl probably had mutiple people given her flowers and gifts during her career

• I mean, who wouldn't? Sayaka is a pop sensation, known for her music, and is also super cute

• But you suddenly gifting her flowers? She never felt more special in her life

• So in short, she loved them!!

• Often times you can see her just staring at the flowers and just having those dreamy eyes

• But she would also gift you something in return!!

• Whether it be new clothing, tickets to her newest concerts, candy, or something you been wanting for a while - she'll get it for you!

【Kyoko Kirigiri】

• Don't expect much of a reaction from her

• It's not that she doesn't like it when you give her anything, or whatever your love language may be

• This detective just has trouble voicing her feelings properly, even when it comes to you

• But she takes the flowers anyway

• And you get to see that rare smile on her face, something that can go unnoticed unless you are looking close enough

• Afterwards she'll take the flowers and plant them either outside or is a cute little pots, making sure they get enough sunlight and water

• She smiles once more as she looks at the now planted flowers

• She thought of you

【Toko Fukawa】

• Alot of mixed opinion will be going on in her mind

• One would think about how this is probably some way to soften her before you do something worse

• Another would be swooned because well, you, her s/o who "puts up" with her, is giving her flowers

• But she would begrudgingly take the flowers and say some mean comment out of habit, albeit you don't take any personal offence to it

• Later though, she would end up writing about the interaction while the flowers sit infront of her in a clear vase

• She can't help but feel lucky to have someone as caring like you to be dating someone like herself

【Genocide Jack/Syo】

• Kinda the same with Toko's reaction

• But she just laughs

• Not because she finds anything in particular funny, but because you are giving a literal (former) serial killer flowers

• You laugh with her because you expected this reaction from your girlfriend

• She takes the bouquet, but then messes with it - or more so ruins it

• She laughs again, you just smile

• Maybe flowers arent the best option, but that doesn't mean you won't stop trying until you find the best gift for her

【Aoi Asahina】

• The happiest out of all the girls here

• okay maybe she would have preferred donuts as a gift rather than flowers

• But she cherishes any gift you decide to give her!

• She would give you a bunch of hugs and quick peppered kisses because she's just so happy!

• Would probably proudly carry the bouquet of flowers everywhere with her that same day just so everyone can see what an amazing s/o you are

• Will later talk all about the interaction to Sakura, going on and on while she listens to her rambles

• She waters them everyday right after swim practice, so they can stay beautiful forever!

【Celestia Ludenberg】

• A calm and composed face is what you will receive

• Even towards you, Celeste keeps on her calm facade but that smile you love so much creeps up on her face

• Roses, beautiful roses that match her aesthetic

• She thanks you of course, loving every gift you give her (though is that a lie? you cant tell)

• She plants a kiss on your cheek, as that is your payment for the gift

• May try to incorporate the roses in her outfit, but will most likely use one as like a pocket rose

• Another famous girl who probably recieved a multitude of gifts from her fashion career

• But does that stop you from showing Junko with gifts whenever you can? Absolutely not

• This time, a simple bouquet of flowers

• Oh man did Junko just adore it

• She basically smothered you with gifts and kisses in return while proudly holding your gift in her arms

• She goes all out with anything, and in all honestly, what else did you expect from her?

• This is Junko Enoshima after all

【Mukuro Ikusaba】

• She didn't know how to react

• You been dating Mukuro for a while now, and learned that she tends to appreciate the more simpler things in life

• So you just giving her a bouquet of flowers basically out of the blue, she didn't know how to handle these emotions

• It didn't matter how long you two would be dating. You two can be married and she would still not know how to react to gifts and handling her emotions

• But she loved them, oh did she love them

• Every gift you give her, big or small, makes her feel seen and appreciated

• And you continue with it, giving her gifts and doing many other things to let her know that you appreciate her

I can just see you two being out on a date, and you catching him staring at you-

Byakuya Togami :

She doesn’t want to insult you, but it is a defense mechanism of sorts.

Like, you compliment her and her self-hatered just goes “no❤️”

So she tells you: “S-shut up, stupid!”, or something like that.

But way further into your relationship, when she gets comfortable and knows she can trust you, she calls you dear or honey.

Maybe cutie but shhh it’s only when you can’t really hear it

A few notes before I start: Sorry about the white backgrounds, that’s how they showed up and I didn’t know how to fix them. Also, these summaries are going to be a lot shorter than they have in my last few posts just since there are so many characters. Anyway, let’s begin.

Literally godly, this should be your regular outfit -

Rantaro Amami - I shouldn’t have to be the first person to point out to you that he’s hot. Not to mention that the pink bottoms work wonders with his hair.

Nagito Komaeda - Hhhhhhhh

Byakuya Togami - I will admit, I’m basing this position more off of his appearance in the promo art. I don’t know how much I like this look on his regular sprite, but he’s so hot in that promo art, you don’t even know.

Show me who picked this out for you so I can thank them -

Sayaka Maizono - SHE LOOKS SO CUTE OML. I’d go through each detail, but in short: everything.

Gundham Tanaka - Shirtless Gundham, what more can I say?

Ibuki Mioda - I absolutely adore how her swimsuit doesn’t just go with her hair, but matches it. Perfection.

Korekiyo Shinguji - When the trailer first dropped and I saw the screen with all of the released swimsuits, I immediately started scanning to see if they put Korekiyo in a wetsuit and by God, they did.

Shuichi Saihara - He looks more tired than usual, but I just have a gut feeling his other sprites will look better.

Mondo Owada - I probably should’ve put him in standard, but he looks so good without a shirt on, I couldn’t possibly.

Kaito Momota - Space shorts.

Sakura Ogami - She was actually going to be somewhere in the first tier originally, but I just can’t put her there because of the color. I probably should’ve put her down with the other people with this problem (Uhhh... okay... I guess) but I couldn’t bear to.

Cute!/Cool! -

Chihiro Fujisaki - a;lskdfh;adskfijshdkjc He’s so cute, someone help. I’m drowning in cute. He looks so excited to be wearing it, too. I think this was the best choice they could’ve gone with to not give him something too masculine or feminine, fantastic choice.

Leon Kuwata - This category was originally just going to be “Cute!” but his bottoms looked so cool, I had to put him up here.

Toko Fukawa - Not only does her swimsuit look good on her, but I love the way that they designed her and Genocide Jack to be wearing the same swimsuit in different styles. Super cool.

Tenko Chabashira - I think this was one of the only palette swaps that I actually liked. There are probably a few other swaps that I didn’t even notice, but I like this one specifically because of the color swap. She looks great in pink.

Kyoko Kirigiri - I think I would’ve normally put her in standard, but her gloves are just too cool.

Mukuro Ikusaba - Love the colors and love the pattern. Simple, yet great.

Mahiru Koizumi - Mahiru, your camera. You can’t take that in the water. Mahiru- MAHIRU

Akane Owari - This is actually the swimsuit she wore during chapter 2 in the original game and I thought she looked great both times.

Chiaki Nanami - Same as Akane, so there’s not really any reason for either one to be higher or lower than the other. Peko would be up here too, but it’s really basic.

Gonta Gokuhara - I just really like the pattern and also that he’s still carrying the thing over his shoulder. It’s really weird who got to keep accessories and who didn’t, but we’ll get there.

Masaru Daimon - He just looks so cool in his shorts, I’m sure he’s excited to have them.

Shirokuma - Despite how I may feel about Shirokuma, this is a very cute outfit for them.

Standard -

Kaede Akamatsu - Definitely the best-looking of the protagonists, even if Shuichi’s higher. He’s only higher because I have faith that his faults are because of the sprite choice. If I’m wrong, sue me.

Kirumi Tojo - This is another instance of getting to keep the accessories. She still has her headband on. Why?? It wasn’t crucial to her character or anything. I get that Kyoko has backstory reasons and Gonta and Mahiru’s personalities revolve around their items, but why Kirumi? She had other things that defined her better.

Peko Pekoyama - Like I said before, basic and kinda bland. She still looks good, though.

Fuyuhiko Kuzuryuu - He actually gained an accessory. Why does he have a necklace now? His shorts are nice, though.

Hajime Hinata - O r a n g. Or maybe red.

Maki Harukawa - Basic swimsuit, no color change whatsoever. A nice swimsuit, but nothing special.

Genocide Jack - Everything I said before about Toko’s swimsuit still applies, Genocide Jack’s is just way more boring.

Aoi Asahina - A good color swap, but not good enough to make up for her basic swimsuit.

Monomi - I like that they put her in a one-piece. Very cute. Wish they would do that all the time...

Monaca Towa - I just noticed that she is the only character other than Monomi to wear a one-piece. Why??

Makoto Naegi - The most basic swimsuit imaginable combined with his regular color scheme and pattern.

Hiroko Hagakure - I think I like that she kept her jacket? Maybe? It’s a different jacket, but it still counts.

Nagisa Shingetsu - Black and white bottoms. Okay. You do you, buddy.

Imposter - It’s fine. It’s just fine.

Izuru - I like that they gave him a separate swimsuit from Hajime, but why is it so bland and boring?

I love you, so I’ll forgive it -

Sonia Nevermind - She actually looks great and is so cute. So cute that she’d be in the top tier if not for one crucial fact. If you’ll notice, I mentioned earlier that Peko, Chiaki, and Akane are all wearing the same swimsuit here that they had worn in the original second game. However, there’s another character that appears in the scene I’m talking about that is wearing a different outfit than they are here. That charcter is Sonia, who was seen in a wetsuit in the original game. It was thrown off as a joke, but I still can’t stop thinking about how pretty she looked in that wetsuit. It’s literally my profile picture for my main blog, that’s how pretty she is wearing it. I’m mad because they’re basically agreeing that she didn’t look pretty/sexy in the wetsuit when that couldn’t be more wrong.

Celestia Ludenberg - I literally just wish she was wearing a one-piece, it can be the same style and everything. Honestly a missed opportunity.

Kotoko Utsugi - It’s just a weird pattern. Love the colors, though.

K1-B0 - I’d be lying if I said I didn’t love the floaty, but he still deserves more respect.

Miu Iruma - The pattern is... fitting... but still bad.

Kiyotaka Ishimaru - Taka... sweetie... why...?

Uhhh... okay... I guess -

Angie Yonaga - I like the look, but it’s exactly what she usually wears just without the jacket. Does that mean that she’s always wearing a swimsuit? Why? Even Asahina didn’t wear a swimsuit as her regular outfit.

Kazuichi Soda - I definitely like this color better than the piss yellow he used to have, but it’s still not great. I like that he got to keep his little logo thing, but I’m confused as to why he gets to keep his hat. It’s just like Kirumi keeping her headpiece. I’m fine with it in this case, but why him and not...? Well, we’ll get there.

Komaru Naegi - A lot of the outfits in this tier are just because I like the look and not the color scheme, including Komaru. Yellow’s just an odd fit for the shade of green that her hair is.

Tsumugi Shirogane - The same as Komaru. Nice style, but the yellow and blue clash for me.

Hiyoko Saionji - Surprise surprise, it’s the same thing. I think the style really fits her, but I hate the yellow and green. Not into it.

Junko Enoshima - Ok, we’re out of the color scheme repetition. I don’t know why she’s wearing a tanktop. It just looks a little off, but I can’t place why. I don’t know why she isn’t just wearing the regular swimsuit like she was in the promo art. If she was, I’d probably put her in Standard.

Yasuhiro Hagakure - I’ll be honest, I didn’t notice the alien pattern on his shorts until after I had already downloaded the picture and closed out of the tier list tab. If I had noticed before, I’d probably put him in Cute!/Cool! but I still don’t really like the color scheme. Fitting, but not pleasing.

Kurokuma - The only reason he’s above Kokichi is because he has a water gun and I think that’s cute.

Kokichi Oma - Literally just gut instinct. I like that he kept his checkered pattern and purple color scheme. Something just told me he should be down here.

Monokuma - It just feels wrong, but I can’t place why, same as Kokichi.

Teruteru Hanamura - I probably would’ve liked his outfit better if his shirt was buttoned up at least a little bit. Now that I think about it, Mondo should’ve had one of these, too.

Usami - WHY IS SHE IN A BIKINI??? SHE’S A STUFFED RABBIT.

Nekomaru Nidai - I can absolutely see him picking this swimsuit to wear, but that doesn’t mean I like it.

Ryoma Hoshi - So Mahiru gets to keep her camera, Kirumi gets to keep her headpiece, and Kazuichi gets to keep his hat.. but Ryoma doesn’t get anything? I genuinely had to take a second to figure out who this was the first time I saw him. He can’t even have a sunhat or anything? That would’ve been cute.

Himiko Yumeno - I can’t imagine a world in which she would choose this swimsuit for herself. The color is off, the style is off, I could much more easily see her wearing something similar to Monaca’s swimsuit. Basically, just let some of the girls wear one-pieces. They don’t all have to be in bikinis.

Jataro Kemuri - The pattern. I can’t even stand to look at it long enough to figure out what it is.

Hifumi Yamada - It did take me a second to figure out what his swimsuit was, but as soon as I did, he hit the bottom of the list. Again, it’s definitely fitting, but I still hate it.

(asmr Toko checks on them and takes care of them sometimes for her but she’d die before letting anyone else find out about that ❤️)

And Celeste with the disney princess tea cups oh my goddddd 🥺🥺🥺 they’re practically some of her most prized possessions and she’s very proud of them

hey, mod kyoko here! i've had a burst of inspo and i was thinking, what kind of pets would the trigger happy havoc cast have? so here are pet headcanons for the trigger happy havoc girls!

•she is an athletic girl, so what greater pet to have?

•she even taught it how to swim

•she would probably name the dog after sakura too

•didn't toko have a pet stink bug?? that is so adorable

•considering that fact, i'm sure she really likes bugs

•so i can see her owning a tarantula, praying mantis, or a stick bug

•she talks to her bugs all the time, it's her favorite coping mechanism since she is a loner

•since her bugs are so important, she gives them human names

•she treats them as people too

•after careful consideration, i have decided that kyoko would own a reptile, perhaps an anole or a bearded dragon

•i can see her loving and caring for her pet very much

•cockatoos are one of the few bird species that can "talk"

•celeste would definitely teach it to sing

•she would like it to perch on her shoulder while she goes about her daily routine as well

•sayaka would have a small rodent, like a guinea pig or hamster

•she loves watching her rodent run circles in one of those wheel things

•and she also really enjoys cuddling the pet

•she would definitely invite her friends over to play with it

•she doesn't mind it being a not very active pet, she actually likes that it doesn't do much

•i can see junko being a horse girl

•don't get mad at me i just literally have no idea what other kind of pet she would have (possibly a monkey?? maybe??)

•but yeah her horse would be her prized possession, she would take good care of it and ride it all the time

•i'm really trying but for some reason i can't see her owning a pet so this is all you get, sorry :/

•ferrets are very playful, perfect for sakura

•they are awfully cute and funny too

•she would love having a ferret run around her

•i can see tons of toys and equipment for her ferrets laying around her house

•mukuro has a very badass pet, a snake

•she loves snakes and she doesn't care which type she likes 'em all

•she likes to let her pet slither around her while she is sitting in bed reading or doing homework

•i can see her taking a badass mirror pic with her snake all curled around her, that is if her snake is big of course

•but i can also see her having a tiny snake that fits in her hand

Or, to put it simply, I'll write at least one positive thing about every major character from every game!

Let's go with Trigger Happy Havoc first~

Makoto:

The only male protag who didn't peek on naked girls 👏

Absolutely adorable

He looks like a dummy but he's also somehow smart af. Like damn, if he was real, he wouldn't have multiple lives, limited amount of anwsers, or minigames in his head.

Byakuya

I feel like he actually grew fond of the squad, especially if you look at the photos from his school life

Maybe he didn't save Komaru out of sympathy but he saved her instead of himself. He could just say the operation failed. He either really wanted to make Makoto happy, or is a man of honor, which is both good.

Poor boy deserved loving parents and much less stressfull life

Toko

SO MUCH CHARACTER GROWTH FJXTNBDUJ

Genocide Jil is frickin' hillarious

Deserves all the comforting things in the world

I low key want to read her novels

Kyoko:

She's The Waifu (duh)

Her confidence with the bodies scares me and I love it

Of course real people would be stressed af when put into a killing game. I feel like, despite being a distanced person, she would actually be one of the best people to comfort you and make you feel safe

Her dad loves her so much

Celeste:

Her style is ❤👌

She cares about her cat so much It was on The Warriors of Hope hitlist, haha

Hifumi:

Honestly, he respresents the people who started playing for the waifus

He might be dumb, but he fact that he killed to "protect" Celeste was pretty cool

Yasuhiro

Ok I still have to read Ultra Despair Hagakure to judge him better

But It was cool how he sticked around the island when the Future Foundation was put into a killing game

I actually like him, I don't really have a reason though

Mondo:

I like the fact that even after killing Chichiro he respected his wish and hid his identity

His friendship with Taka is life

He didn't deserve all the stress connected with his brother's death

Aoi:

Makoto's personal bodyguard jdksnwywins

Deserves all the donuts

Her friendship with Sakura is life

How she tried to avenge Sakura seemed dumb, but it just shows how much she believed in her

Sakura:

Buff waifu

Probably one of the most kind hearted and genuine characters in a franchise

Its's just... I can't even describe how much of a good person she is

Her death was the most moving one in THH

Junko:

I'm just impressed how skilled she is in like, everything

Like, she even was good enough to have a second talent when being Ryouko, wow

I wouldn't be suprised if she became the Ultimate Hope (in a maning like Izuru). It would be honestly funny if someone called The Ultimate Hope was actually The Original Ultimate Despair

Mukuro:

Best sis eva

So badass

I loved her after reading Danganronpa: If

DESERVES A LOVING SIBLING DAMNIT!

Sayaka:

Cared about her group so much

Talked to Makoto even before the killing game started and he became usefull to her, which is pretty cute

Left the message to save Makoto and others, which I appreciate

Leon:

Needs to form a band with Ibuki

I like his piercings

Chihiro:

POOR BABY DESERVED TO LIVE

To precious for his own good

I would drown him in compliments

He was SO helpfull even after his death, I love it

Okay I NEED to talk about the protags bc my god did they do them dirty.....Saihara’s dirt color suit? Hinata’s piss colored one??? Disgusting. The filter doesn’t help at all because I clearly see Hinata’s suit being white or off-white in the first one with only the protags and supports but SAIHARA???? He was done dirty since the beginning and I’m appalled that they would do that to my boy especially when Kaede and Makoto are right there in perfectly good outfits.

Real quick can we talk about Akane because she is GORGEOUS????? Also Peko!!!! Fuyuhiko you lucky bastard......

I’m actually personally offended that they didn’t show Ibuki’s whole dress because she looks great already and I’d pay to see her in a dual tone ballgown.

So according to my friend, Souda looks like a neon Leorio and honestly I don’t think I could put it better. He’s even got the tiny grandpa glasses......like he makes them work but still. Grandpa glasses.

Miss Mahiru.........beautiful.....idk what’s up with her headband but I love her dress enough to let it slide.......Hiyoko isn’t in this shot but she looks adorable.......my only complaint is that they aren’t matching........

But I like to think Rantaro convinced Kork to do it just so they could stand at the entrance when the party started to help hold the doors open and tip their hats, going “m’lady” and winking every time a girl came by. (Sorry this is a tad late, life has been kicking my butt lately-)

• Chiaki- probably a game or something like that. Most likely a multiplayer, and a promise for the two of them to play it together sometime. She might bring his switch or smth if she knows he'll be there a long time and get bored.

• Hajime- his underwear unlike everyone else, a relatively normal gift, like chocolates or something. they're orange flavoured He'd probably also be the one bringing him general stuff, like a change of clothes and all that.

• Nagito- also his underwear honestly, Nagito is one rich hoe so you know whatever he brings is going to be extremely high quality (especially for his beloved symbol of hope!). It's mentioned in UDG that Makoto likes trendy things, so maybe something he knows Makoto's had his eye on for a while now, but couldn't quite afford.

• Peko- honestly, Peko has zero experience in gift-giving, and probably turns to Fuyuhiko for help. Little does she know, he also has no fucking clue-

• Fuyuhiko- the guy has no idea how to give casual gifts. Makoto just wakes up one day and there's a newly crafted authentic sword embellished with the Kuzuryu clan name lying in the corner wrapped in silk, and he's just like... 'thanks... ig-'

• Jokes aside, he'd probably give him a nice watch or suit- guy's gotta look good when he confronts his rivals attends school.

• Nekomaru- hmm. He's a pretty sporty person, so maybe a tracksuit or gym clothes? Or no- maybe a nice planner/to do list to scribble in. (To Makoto's surprise, it's actually very pretty, and even handmade!)

• Akane- we all know the way to Akane's heart, and it's food- she'd probably bring him a lot of snacks and stuff, especially whatever's his favourite (maybe a bit too much... well, it's not like he minds sharing. Although, maybe that was her plan all along...)

• Ibuki- she'd bring along some CDs and music he likes/she thinks he'd like. It's the perfect opportunity to get him to listen to some of her reccomendations! Also, here's a cute idea- she brings her guitar and sings to/with him in his room.

• Mikan- Mikan is most likely the one actually looking after Makoto, but I guess if she'd had to gift something, it might be some cute stationary? (*looks at Mr stapler-*). I feel like she'd want to give something handmade, like cookies, but she's a bit clumsy and wouldn't be able to make it.

• Teruteru- ok teruteru would DEFINITELY give homemade snacks and stuff. He'd for sure insist on making Makoto's meals (in exchange for helping him with uh... changing his bandages-)

• Sonia- she might realise that Makoto is likely to get bored, and leave him some of her favourite reading material (unfortunately for him, said material is occult magazines, the current issue of which is centred upon a haunting at a hospital... he doesn't sleep well that night-)

• Gundham- isn't it sweet to imagine Gundham might actually leave one of his animal friends to keep Makoto company (even moreso if it's one of the Dark Devas- ahhh that level of trust)- or as he'd say, to "keep watch over him".

• Hiyoko- knowing Hiyoko, she'd probably leave a LOT of sweets. Most likely the traditional japanese kind too, though, there's a fair share of gummies and chewy sweets too.

• Mahiru- she has quite an eye for pretty things, so I think she'd leave some rather nice flowers, maybe in resin, like a bookmark or table decoration. Or, maybe she'd leave some polaroids to remind him of how much they all appreciate him.

• Kazuichi- a television. But not the hospital kind, oh no, this one he built specially for his bud. And maybe some other little gadgets here and there. (Also some coconut water, cause, he just likes it man-)

• Twogami- he'd.. probably copy Byakuya tbh *wheeze*

• Ryouta- a copy of a particular anime that he knows Makoto will like/cheer him up (I'm looking at you, *insert your favourite comfort anime series/movie here*)

Class 78

• Byakuya- knowing this guy, he'll buy whatever's expensive- he might even leave some of that pricey coffee because he "cant stand to see Makoto drinking that commoner crap anymore-" (insert that scene from ouran high school host club here-). Although... i cant remember but i think it was mentioned that he likes flowers? He might leave those.

• Kyoko- she actually likes some pretty feminine things, like perfume and cherry blossoms. I can see her leaving one of those really nice pens/journals. Or a set of some nice lotions/stuff like that.

• Aoi- donuts, duh. (She really likes cute stuff too, so maybe some adorable erasers!)

• Sakura- don't let her appearance as a wannabe jojo character fool you! she likes some delicate things. She might leave a rather beautiful charm, as a token of her friendship. Due to her practicality, I can also see her leaving vitamins and health supplements to make sure Makoto recovers quick!

• Yasuhiro- he's pretty superstitious, so alongside some nice scented candles (pine tree and summer berries, to be specific, to match Makoto's 'vibes') to clear the air, he'd leave some good luck charms to keep away any um- 'ill-intentioned spirits'.

• Toko- she definitely likes receiving very girly gifts, but I don't know if she'd feel very secure about giving them? Maybe she'd give him a signed copy of one of her books- maybe even a personal one she wasn't really planning on publishing...

• Genocide Jill (or however you call her idk)- JILL PUT DOWN THE SCISSORS- JILL- N O-

• she gave him a coupon for a haircut. That's... considerate (he'll let his hair grow to his feet before he lets her scissors anywhere near his neck-)

• Hifumi- 'please,,, please let this be a normal, completely safe for work piece of storytelling', Makoto thinks, as he opens the doujinshi, already perturbed by the... *ahem* somewhat suggestive cover.

(It is not safe for work)

• Celeste- a rather aesthetic pair of red and black glittery dice, and playing cards. (He finds that the dice are loaded and the cards are slightly uneven). I also like to think she might leave him some high quality tea and a set- (as a tea lover myself I'd definitely appreciate that as a gift hehe)

• Chihiro- they also like cute things! They'd definitely leave a totally adorable set of charms or something (I'm thinking of those ones that you'd hang from your phone), or pretty flower stickers for a laptop. Maybe a handmade gift too!

• Kiyotaka- he's that guy who brings the homework most likely something practical, like a scarf or coasters, y'know, that kind of stuff?

• Mondo- an entire motorcycle maybe- maybe just a leather jacket for now...

• Sayaka- he likes pop music, and I'd imagine he likes hers too (maybe not as much as his sister tho adjajsaisb-). She'd give him an album of covers she'd made, since she knows he likes her voice- all his favourite songs.

• Leon- a signed baseball. Makoto's the only one he's confided in about wanting to go back to baseball about, so he gives him a signed one as a token of appreciation.

• Mukuro- a confession letter. Mukuro has no idea what to give. Her love language is bullets and weapons and oh wait a minute.

• "Is... is this an actual gun-?"

• Junko- chocolates. Yup. That's it. They're just chocolates. Promise. 100% dairy-filled, ethically produced, got-em-on-sale chocolates.

• (And they may or may not be lined with Carolina reaper pepper extract-)

Bonus:

• Izuru- literally all of these but handmade and 200 times better because he's an actual god-
