I’m more of a “how hard can it be” type of crafter. I think of something and go “well, how hard could that be?” and then I either crush it or learn “much harder than expected, actually”. I have done that for literally EVERYTHING I currently make. Cricut? How hard can it be? Punch needle? How hard can it be? Resin? How hard can it be? Polymer clay? How hard can it be? Stained glass? [I am forcibly yanked off the stage]

- This is really vendor specific but I HATE event vendor group chats So Fucking Much. They are full of the absolute dumbest people on God’s green earth made specifically to annoy ME. Just a laundry list of “your reading comprehension is piss poor / how dare you say I piss on the poor” ass people. I have so many examples but the worst most recent one was the day before Easter we had an event in town that had been discussed for MONTHS beforehand. The event coordinator had sent us the set up info on multiple occasions, like I’ve actually never done a more organized event. So we’ve been told many times the set up time was 9am, show time was 11am, okay? The night before the event coordinator sends a message saying basically “hey yall I need you to park on x side of the building and at 10:30am we’re gonna lock the x side entrance doors” and people fucking LOST IT. Like there were IMMEDIATELY ten messages being like “so we only have thirty minutes of set up??????” I hate vendor chats. These people are so fucking stupid.
- I’m in a bunch of Facebook groups for beginners to ask questions in and the thing that just drives me insane is when people are like “hey I bought x thing at the store, how do i decorate it?” like????? However you want?? It’s for you?? What are you even talking about
- Also Facebook related but anyone who can’t read directions on shit and then asks why their resin piece fucked up make me so annoyed
- Also also people who just post a picture and then say “what’d i do wrong” with no further elaboration?? Idk man, what am I looking at??
- craft specific: pet peeve when I get poked by wire when making ribbon wreaths
- also when I misjudge where my finger is when deburring resin and nick my finger 😠
- when fabric won’t lay flat for a fucking iron on
- when the transfer tape gets a crinkle on top of a decal and makes the decal go a little wonky is my fucking 9/11

Today was your 23rd birthday and that instantly made today a little better. It was not unusual for you to set four alarms in the mornings. You had never been a morning person—except today that is.
Peeling the covers back, you sat up and began to stretch. You’d fell asleep in your usual attire—tank top and panties. Your phone dinged, causing you to immediately unplug it from charging.

You had not saved his number in your phone and didn’t plan on doing it anytime soon. But you couldn’t help the smile that curved across your lips.

You tried to ignore the ping of the disappointment that creeped into your chest upon realizing that he hadn’t wished you happy birthday. A week ago, you were in his bed—maybe even cuddled up to him after mind-blowing sex and you remembered explicitly mentioning that your birthday was this week. Maybe he was going to surprise you. Or maybe he had forgotten.

You laid your phone back down, closing your eyes for a moment. Until you heard thing ping of your phone again.
“Someone’s popular this morning!”, Tori chimed in from outside of your door. “Was just making sure you’re up for your morning anatomy class.”
“I’m up.”, you responding through a laugh, picking your phone up again.

You smirked lightly before laying back in bed, making sure there was a good angle of you. For one, you were usually never confident enough to take sexy pictures of yourself. You didn’t really consider yourself “sexy” but he was quick to reassure you that you were indeed both sexy and beautiful. It was nice to hear it, something you would never grow tired of. The guys you had dated before had never made you feel the way he does.
You pulled your tank top up lightly to give a good angle of your lace panties, leaving little to the imagination and snapped a few different pictures, and wasting no time sending them to him before getting up out of bed and slipping out of your tank top and putting on your push-up bra, adjusting it lightly. Professor Quinn—or Joe as he had asked you to call him convinced you that you didn’t need a push up bra to make your boobs look good. It had been a hard adjustment since you all had began to see each other more and more.
It started with you being drunk at the party, a decision you were originally embarrassed of but had led you down the path you were on now. It was also originally very casual sex or so you’d thought. It began happening after class, in his office, eventually leading to his house. He had offered to make dinner for you one night after he got off work and how could you say no? He was a woman’s dream—great personality, sexy looks, great job, a great house, great car. He had done well for himself and that only made him more attractive.
A smile spread across your face as your stomach flipped.
-FUCKKKK, you’re killing me baby. Only thing that would make it better is for you to be naked and in my bed.

You frowned lightly at his response, clearly disappointed with his cryptic answer. Tossing your phone lightly, you finished getting ready. All you could think about was the possibility of him forgetting your birthday and if he did, it would hurt you. You knew that sounded stupid. Sighing, you took one last look in the mirror at your outfit before doing your make up. You had decided on a black long sleeve shirt, a plaid skirt, black tights, and black knee length boots.
For once, you felt confident. You did look sexy in this. If this didn’t grab his attention, you weren’t sure what would. Grabbing your backpack weighed down with your books and laptop, you decided you would grab coffee on the way.
“Have a good day in your sexy professor’s class.”, Tori winked.
You winced lightly. You had hoped she would lay off the comments about your “sexy professor.” It was easy for her to make those jokes before you had entered a relationship with him.

I killed the police chief but let the team that came for him and that robber live, using umbrakinesis for all of them— my logic behind it being that maybe the police will be tricked into thinking their culprit is a simple umbrakinetic vigilante who is acting on their own with their murderous rage aimed at the most corrupt and not, like, the Morozov heir who is looking out for their family business, who have two powers and who displayed gravikinesis to Skylar as their 'main' power.
I know this will only remain in fanon but damn if this game isn't making my brain cells work overtime, I love it so much. (ﾉ◕ヮ◕)ﾉ*:･ﾟ✧

“Let the stress of your day just melt away,” Jade whispered quietly into Tori’s ear. “I’ve got you, baby.”
Tori felt tears well up in her eyes; her bad day was well on the way to being forgotten about.
“Thank you,” Tori whispered tearfully. Jade just hugged her tighter.

Can I share something with you? Got my Mom into Better Call Saul and we watched (a rewatch for me) 6x09 Fun and Games episode. And the episode was already devastating, but then I was listening to music and the song "1000 oceans" by Tori Amos came up, and I was immediately like: THEM. It's THEM. (I'm aware what the rules are / But you know that I will run / You know that I will follow you). It's a deep heart-wrenching ache when you love someone SO MUCH and you are separated from them, and you can't, can't have them because of the "rules" (because together, they're "poison", as Kim said it, and innocent people are getting hurt), but you love them so deep it's torturous to be away from them, and no matter how much time has passed, you'll run and follow them anyway (after six years, she followed him to Colorado and he came clean and sacrificed eighty-six years of his life just to see her again, she followed him and he followed her, and now they're together, heartbreak and sorrow etched into them, sharing one cigarette, being the only source of color in each other's life, and the world is bleak, but the flame, their love is glowing).
( These tears I've cried/ I've cried a thousand oceans.../ And I would cry one thousand more / If that's what it takes / To sail you home). She's his home and he is hers.
Anyway now I'm just ugly-crying non-stop and this song is... a weird source of comfort? But also tears. Just wanted to share it.

i love that you got your mom into the show too, it's such a cool experience to share, even though everything about those last episodes is tough to watch.
i've cried a thousand oceans feels like all of us because of the two of them! you're so right, it really does capture the longing and ache of being separated from someone you love deeply, and the need to bring them back, even if doing so is going to require pain and sacrifice (i'd cry a thousand more to sail you home). the idea that you can't believe you'd ever hurt someone you love that much, but you know you have, and yet the hope you can return to one another and be mended. they ARE each other's home. it's never a set place for them, it's just. them.
Btw my Mom asks "Is Kim gonna be okay? Is she gonna be alright in her new life?" and I'm just: PAIN noooooo. :( honestly, as difficult as it was for me, i think i managed to steel myself because waterworks was even MORE devastating for my mom, and i didn't want to be so upset that it hurt her even further? it was hard seeing it hit her like that, usually i'm the one falling apart over fiction but that affected her on a visceral level. i get this sinking stone feeling in my chest when i think about kim's arc and the way she erased herself. i have to invent brighter ending headcanons for myself to cope 😅🥺

to distract you some, I saw that an ask (idk how to call them, let’s call them someone heh) asked you if you’ve read ‘under the sky in room 553..’ and omG BUNN! this wrecked me so much 😫 I’m not lying or exaggerating when I tell you that after reading that story I kept crying for a whole month straight 😔, it’s really beautifully sad haha and yes while beomgyu does quite suffer in the story (actually everyone lol) it has an actually happy ending (side but happy, it’s like a very poetic ending if I say so myself) but at the end it’s one of my favorite stories ever (I even made a playlist for it but man every time I listen to paper hearts by Tory Kelly, just the fucking intro makes me wanna cry), bUT if u really are like very sensitive with those kind of things it’s totally fine to not read it, I’m actually quite sensitive myself but when it comes to stories the more they hurt the more I like it hahaha I feel like the purpose of it (which was make me feel something or like impact me) has been accomplished. but I totally advice to not ready it if u don’t feel like u might tolerate it! (my sister is quite salty with me cause she also read it because of me and also it’s a beomgyu biased bitch and yes she kept crying more than I did)
(on a little side note: now that I think about it I think that reading that story kinda helped me choose what I want to study in university haha)
