I cannot begin to explain the existential crisis I had during THAT scene in Barbie…I could go on and on about how going from girlhood to womanhood makes you fear that you will never experience the same joy you once did as a kid and is replaced by the self-conscious thoughts and feelings of never being enough.

Also, I smiled and laughed so damn hard and felt a little empowered when Barbie told the older lady she was beautiful and the lady responded with, “I know I am.”

THAT is the attitude I’m going to have. :)

Buck smiles, winds both arms around him and closes his eyes. He rocks them in place until Bucky's energetic fidgeting calms into a tight, quiet hug. When Bucky mumbles something into his neck, he hums.

I think Gale also loves the moments just before they fall asleep, when Bucky is all tired and just nuzzles Gale's neck and cuddles him. 🩷
