ZHONGLI

You were exploring with Zhongli, as he heard music surround him. It wasn’t out of the normal for you to play music as you played, but one particular song played. He was startled, however, when he noticed your reaction to it. He was frozen, seeing you having what looked like a panic attack. One lyric in particular caught his attention because of your reaction to it.

“Pray it away, I swear I'll never be a saint, no way”

That one lyric hit him real hard. Zhongli always had trouble with the fact that people idolize the name Morax, even after retiring from the Archon title. He always felt like a lousy Archon after retiring, and hearing something that related so close to his feelings shook him. Especially from you, the all mighty god and creator. The self-pity feeling dissipated when he heard your breathing become even faster.

Zhongli turned his gaze to see if you were getting worse. You were, and it only made Zhongli become even angrier. Your tears enraged the Geo Archon. He didn’t know how to interpret this song, but he took it as a cry for help. He wanted to kill those who were picking on you, hurting you to the point of a mental break-down. Zhongli wasn’t sure if this was from recent events, or past events, but all that mattered was this song reminding you of pained memories.

His eyes widened when you started to hurt yourself with your own hands. His mind started to spiral along with yours. Someone was going to get very hurt if they pissed off Zhongli after you logged off. His hands trembled as this wave of violent urges came over him. He tried to keep a fixated gaze on your tear stained face, plotting the revenge of those that caused you to look like this.

“Those lowlifes will regret ever making an enemy of you, my dearest god.”

CHILDE

He was humming to himself as you were completing commissions easily with him. He loved listening to the music you picked while you played. Childe, however, had caught on to your feelings quite quickly. He was keeping a close eye on you, but noticed you starting to spiral as this song started to play. A substantial amount of anger arose in his mind as one lyric connected with him.

“Everybody wants to be my enemy”

Childe’s mind went to very dark places, his eyes dulling in rage. His smile morphed into a neutral line, his lips quivering with the shaking rage. It didn’t matter what caused you to feel so upset. But there was this sense of sympathy, being seen as the enemy himself by others. There was this need to hold you and comfort you. To tell you that it’s okay to be seen as the bad guy.

His thoughts were full of paranoia now. What if you hated him for being part of the bad guy organization. He started a crisis alongside you, but it got worse every time he looked into your pained eyes. Childe’s hands trembled, his bow still transformed into his double swords. Childe’s mind became more and more violent the more the song went on.

He was seeing red, wanting to bring those down that made you cry. Childe wanted to take you away from the world that hurt you. He was working so hard to find a way to bring you into his arms with the Fatui. His elemental skill was activated automatically, but your mind was too busy with the panic. He brought one of the surrounding enemies down by himself, without your control because he was so upset that someone could bring you to this panicked state.

“If everyone sees you as an enemy, then we will be enemies together and let those who disagree fall below our feet.”

RAIDEN SHOGUN

Ei was in an all happy mood as you used her puppet to wonder around Teyvat. You were taking photo’s loving the game’s scenery and Ei was happy that she was the subject of those photos. She was intrigued by the music you were playing. It was so foreign to her because no place in Teyvat had music like this. Her ears perked up as she heard you becoming distressed as one particular song played, and one lyric connected the most with her.

“Your words up on the wall as you're praying for my fall And the laughter in the halls and the names that I've been called”

Ei’s whole mood changed, seeing you having a panic attack. She felt her puppet come back as there was a coldness of murderous urges rise. Ei tried to keep control, but she felt the same murderous intent. Thunderstorms started to form within the Inazuman sky, representing Ei’s anger. She was fighting so hard not to lose it in front of you. But for some reason, there was a sense of relatability with the lyric.

Ei understood the feeling of people hoping for her downfall, especially during the era of the Sakoku Decree. Her mind went to the past, the mistake of letting the puppet she created to reign over Inazuma without her influence. There was so much resentment for herself, as well as for those who hurt you. Her thoughts focused on every single possibility where she wasn’t there to help protect you.

Her mind was splitting with so many overwhelming images. She had this sense that she failed you. She fell to her knees, eyes wide and teary with disbelief. Ei begged for you to stop crying, but alas you couldn't hear her through a screen. There was one last thing she muttered, however.

“Those who ruin my eternity with your happiness shall face the wrath of the Electro Archon.”

He likes the sounds of gentle trumpets, trombones, violins etc.

When he’s driving alone he loves keeping the radio on a super vintage radio station

When he’s with you he’d be kinda shy to play it, assuming you don’t like it because you’re born in such modern time

When (if) you’d assure him you like it, you’d warm his spark as he’d finally get to share and enjoy the music he likes with you

He’d tell you why he likes each song and which part is his favorite

He’d claim he hates music, how it’s merely a distraction

Nonetheless, when you or any of the kids would play something in the base, at times he wouldn’t immediately tell you to turn it off or keep it down because he’d like it

His preference isn’t clear because you could catch him slightly moving to the beat to song from the 80s over 2000s to the newest

He wouldn’t even notice he’s slightly shmooving to the beat

Only when you’d giggle and tell him he’s got some moves, he’d get flustered and immediately stop, denying it

After some time, he’d admit he likes some songs you’d play and would allow you to use the radio when he’s driving you

He loves shmooving like crazy

Play ABBA or something and he’s all over the place and no one can stop him

He’s very stubborn when it comes to his music taste and will openly tell you when he thinks your music taste is trash or if it’s his favorite

While in the car, he wouldn’t let you touch the radio- heck he wouldn’t let you get NEAR IT if you aren’t planning to play a song he likes

He’s the head DJ in the car AND in the base

When Ratchet tells him to turn it off or lower the volume, he’d just turn it up to annoy him and dance all over the place

Not that he’d admit though, never

He isn’t a fan of… joy lmao so he wouldn’t listen to any music on his own

When you’d play some music in the lab, he’d scold you and tell you to keep it down

Definitely a huge Lady Gaga fan

When he’s alone he blasts it and sings, dances, imagines he’s on a concert, the main star

He’d even order you to play Lady Gaga in the lab

If you wouldn’t do it, he’d remind you who he is, your commander and that you shall oblige

a contorted face found staring back at itself in the glass of the clear mirror, only the light from the overhead lamps and his reflection ricocheting off of it. sephiroth’s eyebrows furrowed as he held his breath, lungs allowing what seemed to be limited air inside of them, the smell of his shampoo and hair oils still lingering in his nose.

his fingers danced along his wingspan, flinching at the sharp feeling of sores on his back— his eyes flickering towards the once pristine white counter, now littered with black feathers and bloody marks against the marble. he couldn’t soothe the feeling of bile at the back of his throat this time as he shuddered once more, his shaky breaths slipping between his parted lips.

“sephiroth?” he heard at the door followed by a few gentle knocks against the hard wood. his eyes darted to the door, watching as the doorknob slowly jiggled. his hand rushed to the wood, cold against his palm as he urged the door to stay shut.

he sputtered, “i’m indecent.” despite remaining with his cool tone of voice, you couldn’t help but notice the waver in his tone as he winced at the slight strands of hair that fell against his back when he whipped around. he placed his forearm against the door to further stabilize it as he tipped his head back, exhaling sharply through his nose while he heard you scoff out, “nothing i haven’t seen, before.”

his eyebrows furrowed and he scrunched his eyes closed. his back aching with every sharp pain that traveled throughout his upper torso. a cool wave washed over him as he watched the door slowly open, your own brows knitted in concern as you finally let your eyes gaze upon the bloody counter and his almost shameful expression. he didn’t falter in his eye contact, mako irises only following you as you walked into the bathroom and touched one of the strays of black feathers that had fallen atop the sink.

“sit down.” your voice came out soft and gentle, the only sound that dared to interrupt you was the whirring of the air conditioning. sephiroth tilted his head a bit before finally taking a seat on the closed lid of the toilet. despite having fragments of a single wing sticking out of his back, he somehow managed to always maintain a straightened posture.

you rummaged through the cabinets under the sink, trying to ignore the small thin trickles of blood that dripped on the floor as you felt for the first aid kit in the very back of the space. you caught a glimpse of sephiroth, staring down at his hands as he almost sneered at himself. seeing him without his shirt on wasn’t anything new, but the way his shoulders tensed up and his breaths shook made your stomach twist. you could’ve sworn his breath hitched as he felt another sharp pain travel through his bones.

as he watched you get up and walk over to his seated frame on the toilet, his eyes stayed glued to the floor until your feet came into view— signaling you were there and ready to finally patch him up. he couldn’t look up, ever too embarrassed to peel his eyes off the tile and up at you as he knew he’d probably meet your concerned gaze.

sephiroth was only worried over when there was something that could ruin his image or his ability to fight, although when did that ever happen much?

it was hard getting accustomed to the feeling of being loved. and not the admiration he received from his fangirls and superiors alike, he knew he was talented— but he didn’t know he was loved. and that was the hardest part of you coming into his life, being able to feel loved and appreciated when you embraced him and not stiffen at just the gentlest brush of your fingertips, so gentle and soft compared to his calloused skin. when he recoiled at your benign touch, it wasn’t out of appall— it was pure fear for what the next step was and if he was truly ready for this or not.

“sit backwards, sephiroth.” even as you sighed, the way his name left your lips never failed to make his heart skip. he hummed in acknowledgment and changed his position on the toilet lid, wincing at the small gasp you let out once you fully saw his back. the skin was broken as his wing had poked through, and sephiroth didn’t help as he picked at it either. his wing, black and thick coated with a sheen layer of blood from birth. you frowned, who knows how long sephiroth had been containing this.

he let out a small sigh of anticipation, lightly drumming his fingers against his toned thigh as he felt your hands meet his back.

sephiroth’s eyes scrunched close as you moved them along his spine, being careful not to touch the wounds themselves but instead the areas around them. he tried to ignore the growing warmth in his stomach and instead took a deep breath as you finally pressed the alcohol soaked cotton ball against the wound, watching as the white material quickly turned a deep red.

it was only silent for a moment— yet the whirring of the fan was starting to piss you off. sephiroth didn’t say anything either, but you couldn’t blame him. by the flush of his cheeks and the shaky sighs he took, you almost felt as if you were doing something wrong but instead your brain just resorted to the thought of, ‘he’s been at this for a while, he’s just tired.’

you worked your way with dressing his wounds and cleaning his wing, watching as it fluttered beneath your palm.

and when he heard the familiar click of the first aid click closing shut, he maneuvered his way back to face front on the toilet— even if he couldn’t bear to look at you. mako infused eyes stayed glued to his lap, unmoving even as he heard your footsteps shuffle over towards him. another touch as your hand snaked up to cradle his jaw and it was like electricity shot through his body. it took him everything not to flinch away at the foreignness. not to flinch away from the comforting feeling he was so scared he’d fall face first in.

you urged his head to look up at you, having his eyes immediately trail to your soft smile.

“don’t hold it in,” you began, your eyes never failed to make sephiroth melt even in the harshest states, “let me feel you, sephiroth.”

your whispers curved their way into his ears and were now etched in his brain, the absolute adoration that laced your voice now sheathed any shameful thoughts. pulling him into you, sephiroth finally moved his hands away from his lap and wrapped them around your waist as he let himself bury his face into the comfortable place of your stomach. he felt you, he realized. he felt all of you— and he understood now that this was real. fingers reaching for the fabric of your clothes or the arch of your spine made him acknowledge you more than he ever has before. and you could’ve sworn you felt a slight dampness on your shirt.

your kindness was almost too much for him— it was too overwhelming considering he grew up most of his life being tested on and seen for any changes in growth. sephiroth was divine to you, and as you cradled his face within your palm, you realized that you didn’t mind worshipping him as not just a divinity, but as a human.

The Bikini Bottom Legacy

Hi Guys! Oooooo🎙️🎶🎵🎼🧜🏽‍♀️! My name is SirenSims & I have been thinking for a long while about a legacy challenge that I could create that was a bit different from the other challenges I have been seeing. So I thought about the personalities of the Spongebob Squarepants Characters, and so The Bikini Bottom Legacy was formed! There are a ton of personalities to play with in the Sims 3. So this Legacy will help you discover those and have some juicy Storylines to keep it engaging! It was hard to pick just 10 archetypes, and some of these features I’ve never used before so I’m excited to try this out!

If you decide to do this, tag me thesirensims or bikinibottomlegacy so I can see! And feel free to let me know what you think. This is my first challenge so if there are things I could do differently/better let me know!

Important! - This Challenge is not Basegame only, if you find a way to convert it to Basegame or to the Sims 2, Please tag me! I would love to see that! Also, This Challenge is Story Driven to help it not get boring fast. So try to stick to the required storylines as needed. And please do not use the money or needs Cheats in this challenge if you can manage ( Makes it more fun IMO) <3

Generation 1 - SpongeBob Squarepants

You have a heart of gold and just want to make others happy with your Cooking! Your Family raised you to be positive, helpful & friendly (even to your detriment!). Moving into a new town you bring light, laughter, and good food. You bought a two-story tiny house for you and your feline friend (Cat with any G name you want). You made two best friends, one Grumpy and one Lazy ( Make them in CAS or find sims with those traits in town). By the time you reach level 6 or 7 seven of your Culinary Career, you feel like spreading your love by extending your family. So you adopt a kid-aged sim ( Easily Impressed & Couch Potatoe Trait required). At this point you know everyone in town & go out whenever you are invited (despite the inconvenience). You have a lot of experiences on your belt and you boast a jellyfish you caught yourself and a few different Butterfly Species you collected on days off (atleast 3 types). You end your life as a wise Chef that people can't help but love!

So... The other day, I shared a couple of tunes and thought "hey, why not share some here? Links are (possibly) less cursed here on Tumblr anyway." Anyway, filling the void with some more Sal vibes for everyone today. 🌌🎹

(Link-sharing struggles aside, I'm very shy about sharing music nowadays... I don't compose it like I used to either. I guess I've become more aware of how my skills as a musician are lacking compared to those as a visual artist. The insecurity gets to me. Music means a lot to me, but being passionate doesn't always equate to being skilled! However... being "good" at something shouldn't stop you from being openly passionate about it. Follow your dreams. Give that insecurity the middle finger.)

🤔 I've done a few renditions of the "Faceless" theme. Though it's not necessarily meant to be connected to Sal exclusively (heck, it was initially written for another character!) it really has her sound and energy going on. It might become a Sal song. It's not her theme song, mind you! But it's certainly a Sal song. Hahaha!

CHILDE

You were doing a domain with Childe, obviously because you loved fighting in domains with him. He was doing really well, hitting high numbers, but the world around him paused. He knew this wasn’t a normal pause as you open one of the various menus of the game, but it was him having a sudden realization. Childe was used to you playing music as you fought during domains, but this one particular song struck a chord within him. You had thought you game broke because Childe was just standing still, but wasn't taking any damage.

“The rain of despair pelts my umbrella and. Dampens my bangs and the hidden side of my heart”

That one lyric out of this whole song made him snap. All of a sudden you had control over him and his numbers were a lot higher. Childe was putting a lot more force into his attacks. You didn't notice, but this song was heavily affecting him. That one lyric connected to him more than anyone else, and the fact that it was coming from you made it even worse. He tried to think why this one lyric hit so hard to him.

This feeling hit him like a tidal wave, not knowing what to do or say. After you exited the domain, he just stared at you. He had this feeling that you were punishing him for hiding so much from you. The previous times where he hid the truth, not revealing who he truly was or what his intentions were. He hated himself that he had to lie to you, the deception he subjected to you.

He was sincerely remorseful about ever deceiving you, but it was for the greater good. If you had known, he was sure that you would have hated him. You just had Childe stand outside the domain, trying to figure out what you needed to do next, while Chide was having an anxiety attack. His eyes were shaky, and his hands were trembling as he couldn’t still his racing mind. He was sure that you must have hated him.

“I’m sorry I didn’t try hard enough to hide my truths from you.”

WANDERER

Wanderer may have seemed annoyed that you had him on the field to do boss fights, but deep down he was very prideful and proud about it. Of course you chose him out of all the others that you had, he was the best out of all of them anyway. Wanderer had this smirk on his face after every boss he had defeated, but that smirk disappeared as he heard a song play. This was normal, you obviously needed background noise, but this one song cause Wanderer’s mind to spiral. He didn’t know what to do as he felt trapped, but one lyric made it even worse.

“I can’t understand even the simplest of things; what even am I?”

He paused in the middle of his attack, the wind he was using quickly dissipated from his hand. All his memories came flooding back to him, as he tried to compose himself. Wanderer thought he was over this, he already confronted his past. So why was it all coming back to him so suddenly? It didn’t make any sense to him, especially since it was triggered by that one lyric. It was true, he didn’t understand anything, even after all the work he had done to understand humans.

He internalized this lyric and started to think it was how you saw him, but it didn’t cross his mind that it was how you saw yourself. You noticed that Wanderer wasn’t fighting anymore, thinking it was odd, so you decided to move him to a teleporter. You didn’t know if it was the game glitching or what, but you just let the game run on its own, hoping it would be fixed by itself. Wanderer started to cry, he didn’t think such a simple song could affect him and cause him to have a panic attack. He looked at you, hoping you would notice his pain in his eyes.

Wanderer kept his sole focus on you, trying to make sense of the purpose of the song that was playing. Were you trying to give him a sign, perhaps, or were you simply telling him you didn’t see him as what he wanted. His mind spiraled as he kept thinking on why you played that song, and if you even chose to play it. Wanderer didn’t want to accept the reality that he wasn’t real to you, that he was just a mere puppet with no emotions. As the screen dimmed, you still waiting for the game to fix itself, his eyes stared on with disbelief.

“Am I even real to you, creator?”

FURINA

Furina was skipping, even if you couldn’t see it through the screen, as you explored with her. She loved that someone as prestigious as you thought of her to be good for the job. She hummed to herself, seemingly enjoying the music that was playing in the background. You were fighting some monsters in Fontaine, and she was more than delighted to reign victorious, even if they were easy enemies. That delighted feeling got sucked out of her the moment she heard the song change to one that she couldn’t help but connect too.

“I cried, still unable to say even goodbye, phony phony phony. Tangled up in lies, I am a phony”

She felt tears well up in her eyes instantly. She couldn’t stop herself from crying, as she froze in front of the items of the fallen enemy that was just defeated. Her eyes were darting everywhere, trying to not focus on this one lyric. Furina instantly came to the conclusion that you saw her as a phony. She couldn’t blame you, however, since she felt like one herself. She wasn’t the true Hydro Archon after all, so what was she meant to be?

Tears feel onto the sand that she was standing upon, causing it to clump together. Her eyes stayed away from you, she couldn’t bring herself to even see you looking at her. She felt so much guilt and fear that you didn’t see her as anything but a phony. Furina tried her best to pull herself out of this negative spiral. She fell to her knees, more tears overwhelming her vision.

You hadn’t noticed as you became distracted with the music playing. Furina had held her hands as if she were praying to you. Her eyes were wide as she was fighting herself in her mind. Her breathing became labored as more tears fell around her. She started to yell out to you, hoping you’d hear her pleas.

“I’m not a phony! I’m not. I’m not. I’m not! Why won’t you believe me, oh great creator?”
