okay so I have a bit of an announcement to make, I'm going to stop writing fanfiction for haikyuu.
I know it may not be what a lot of my followers want to hear but I want to say some things first. I am forever going to be grateful to the Haikyuu!! community and it's ceaseless amount of talented writers. Within the past few months I have grown out of love with the series itself, the passion for it has just dwindled away.
The fics I have written over the past year and a half will not be deleted from this blog!! I know that there will be people who would still like to visit those fics over time and I want to allow for them to revisit them. I'm still very proud of the work I produced and am passionate to continue writing.
This blog will be renamed soon and will be switching focuses. I have begun stranger things in the wake of the new season coming out and I really enjoy the series and it's supportive fandom!
If people want to unfollow I understand completely. However if you still wanted to keep up with me as a person I am starting a side blog with more personal updates, fic uploads, games, playlists, poetry, etc. It's @ches-personal It doesn't look like much at the moment but I promise it will be updated soon.

girls may fall for him all the time. but he has fallen first and harder for you.
can you just imagine him who's the most popular guy at school and can get any girl to fall for him but when it comes to trying to get you to see his feelings he freezes up completely with this pretty blush spread across his face.
all his charm just disappears, and he KNOWS how to speak Japanese but his mouth can't remember how to form a single word. all because of you.
he thinks it may be because you are his friend. since you didn't fall for him like other girls and became rather good friends with him, he actually got to know you a little more than other girls. and it made it more intimate, which fried his brain.
he's rambled on and on to his confidant (his other best friend who he's known longer than you) and his friend is just so over it. they don't even think its cute any more that he pines after you. now its just annoying because he can't even confess.
they snort, "your not gonna be able to do it." but it gets him scurrying out of his seat to go find you to PROVE he CAN. "you've got your heart dropped to your fucking ass everytime you try- aaaaand there he goes."
you're in the middle of talking, helping someone with some random tasks, he doesnt even know because he's focused on the way when you notice him this warm smile breaks across your face.
"do you need help with the assignment too?" you teased, going to help him either way if he needed it
and god he's so fucking weak for you. everything you do that was NORMAL and MUNDANE now made him feel like his legs were going to give out. his heart starts beating so fast he grasps his shirt in a hurry and his face has turned red.
you tilt your head, "do you have a fever? i TOLD you to wear a jacket this morning!" you gently scolded him, leaning forward and pressing your hand against his head
oh yeah..something about this morning and how it was freezing and you were worried he'd catch a cold if he didn't wear his jacket.
but the way you were so close to his blushing face his his heart caught right in his throat.
he knows whoever you were helping just now is STARING and so his own friend from across the room and most likely snickering at him because of how damn pathetic he must look right now.
he coughed, a way to force himself to talk and force his heart to STOP spiking.
"*cough* I'm good, thanks-" and he's stepping away from you, now DARTING away "ALRIGHT BYE!"
and your just left so confused and wondering if he's hiding his fever from you, which you think he probably is, and with a sigh you get back to what you're doing before he showed up.
now he's sulking heavily next to his friend. he couldn't do it. AGAIN. he knows how to ask girls on dates! he's done it PLENTY of times.
"fuckkk" he wined, stuffing his face into his knees that were pressed up to his chest.
his friend didn't look surprised in the slightest, scrolling on social media beside him. "i told ya' you wouldn't be able to do it." they said.

hi! I'm an 18 year old roleplayer with about 5 or 6 years of experience! this pinned post covers my rules for roleplay and what I'm interested in! please please please ensure you read my rules before reaching out to me!
rules! 🍓
- I will only roleplay with people 18 and over! sorry but this is not negotiable.
- I'm pretty much exclusively writing oc x canon double ups! I will not be writing a canon character for your oc if you are not doing the same for me.
- most of my ocs are female so my side of the rp will generally be fxm, fxf or f x other. I'm fine with my partner having male ocs ofc, I just don't have any myself and I'm aware that's an issue for some people.
- I would categorise my writing as semi lit/lit. I don't really like to set an expected amount of how much I write because it varies depending on my partner, my humour, and the plot. however, I generally do at the very least 2 paragraphs.
- I do not tolerate partners who try to control my oc's actions in the roleplay, I find it incredibly annoying.
- please do not criticise my ocs unless I ask, even if it's constructive criticism. if I want advice on how to improve an oc I will ask.
- I am okay with nsfw but I don't enjoy rps where that's the entire plot. I also only write nsfw with adult characters!!!!
- as a general rule I'll willing to try and write any character for my partner, but if I do say no to a character, it's probably because I've tried to write them before and have not enjoyed it. that or it's a character I just refuse to protray (eg- mori, bsd)

my hajime i think i struggle to characterize sometimes bc often my characterization for him is The Perfect Man. when i really like my portrayals of him tho it usually involves some amount of self-sacrifice - motifs of “i have to be the strong one,” “i have to take care of everyone else.” even tho i don’t like dad fics, i hc that he’s naturally pretty fatherly when interacting with his friends? or like. big brother vibes. i actually think hajime is the perfect “best friend’s brother” character bc he Will be soooo guilty for being into his friend’s sibling, always tries to meet people where they’re at, will take care of you and accidentally make u fall in love with him. taking care of people comes v naturallyto him i think so a lot of my fics center around either him playing that role for reader or the roles reversing and reader getting to care for him which is like a shortcut to displaying the vulnerability and trust in their relationship
atsumu is easy because i just think “what would i do” and then i write that
LOL just kidding but i think atsumu 1) being a brother and 2) an older brother who doesn’t quite qualify as an older brother are central points of his character to me. he cares intensely about people but he’s not quite a sufficient role model. and he has no idea how to align what he wants people to think with what he does. so i think playing with the friction between atsumu’s perception of the world and everyone else’s perception of atsumu is really fun, especially if reader is The One Who Gets Him

bestie i'll be honest with you.... i just woke up and chose violence one day. my best friend was the one who introduced me to fanfictions and I've always been awed by their writing. i had previously written original stories but never fanfics so i thought why the hell not. and wrote my first fic during a terrible horrible no good period of time in my life. it was sakuatsu! Major character death. i killed atsumu because why the hell not!

i don't know if it is the weirdest because I've researched a lot of weird stuff but i do remember very vividly learning about the the practices of drinking human blood, dating back to the early ages till now. oh, i also for some reason have a human blood jam recipe because of that. yeaaaaaa

I'm actually really bad at writing AUs 😭 So I don't know if I'm answering your question properly.
(I mean, I've never really been into them, so it's not the most fun for me to write and I haven't done it much, which is why I'm bad at it but still!!)
Other than that, to be honest I really do go off of vibes. 🤭 I was a theatre kid for 3 years and even though I was always in production or direction, we all had to participate in everything so I know how getting in character works; so I'm like, basically letting myself be possessed by Atsumu and Osamu when I'm doing their POV 😫
When I was younger (like 14-15), I had these percy jackson oc fic, and I for REAL was fighting feelings of parental abandonment while watching TV with my perfectly present dad every evening after school because I got too in the oc's head LMAOO
i mean, I distinctly remember being depressed, thinking huh what's up with me, and the voice in my head just went like "nobody wants me..." and it was such a #holdup moment 😭
If we're talking about Atsumu vs Osamu, the main difference in the vibe I think, for me-
a) atsumu is this massively confident guy, who's never had a setback (in the sense that he's super convinced that putting in effort=you will get the result you want, if you don't it's because you didn't put in enough work and that's fixable). this is a negative thing sometimes because he takes on too much personal responsibility for EVERYTHING, even the things he can't control

ohh yeaaaah I was in that era too !! I miss it a lot, like really really bad. I remember me making anime contents on tiktok 😭 
haikyuu is the one that got me into anime and i’m so happy abt it !! I remembered being stressed on my modules and just try to watch it and it got me so hooked up 💗

A quick life update!
Hey, it's Ro!
I know I went MIA for quite some time, and I am here to provide some explanations in case anyone was curious or looking for it!
During the first week of August, I was busy with revisions for my finals, and I went clubbing for the first time! It was fun, but after that, I suddenly fell sick; I had all symptoms of Covid, but all my test kits were negative, and it turned out to be a really bad cold.
I still have a cough, but I'm gonna be back to writing soon!
And I'm super sorry to those that send in requests, please wait a little longer, and I will upload those!
Also, I'm planning to write an idol oc x Atsumu story; it's still in the planning stage, so do look out for it when it comes out...👉🏻👈🏻
