A family friendly concert featuring anime/Disney tracks. A friend from France also came and she’s a big fan of The Promised Neverland so surprised her with Isabella’s Song.
Had a tough audience! Kids are one of the most difficult clients🤣 But they were patient and curious. I’m sure a lot of the pieces (even the Ghibli) were beyond their years, but wanted to perform oldies and classical music too.
They did get excited with YOASOBI’s “Idol” though 😆 I think I’m finally enjoying singing this live!
The year of the dragon = Falkor for me! Besides the kids, I think every generation knew the NeverEnding Story! I love Falkor. So fluffy 😍
Let’s say I’m just carrying/ pushing around dreams
Finished doing a fun show on New Years Day, but the earthquake was a frightening experience, even being so far away from the epicentre. Was high up in a big tower so it shook so hard and long. Disasters are always unexpected but this is still a great shock. I hope you are all safe. Please take care.
Humanization of Dream and Nightmare from a year ago. I still really like it. I still remember how I drew them to the lullaby from The Promised Neverland...
A short lazy comic cuz yeah :D... Idk but Jiao Yue has a soft spot for kids despite not showing that much affection to them, so yes, she'd turn again to a human to comfort them.. I also think that Jiao Yue could be humming some sort of lullaby to calm Star down, and that lullaby would be: (iykyk)
I have a Christmas special finished that I was going to put out today but I'm tired and my bed is comfortable so it'll be out tomorrow (Dec 26). Here is a list of the songs I listened to to get the vibe (not including the ones I actually mentioned in the end notes):

rules: shuffle your ‘on repeat’ playlist and post the first 10 tracks, then tag 10 people
@lazyrunawayphilosopher thanks for tagging me!! :) here are my 10! pretty cool that we both have 一花一剑 on repeat haha, but I guess that’s just what tgcf does to you
actually had three different versions of 無羈 come up too lol but I just went with the first one because three is a little excessive. this is really neat because the last time I did this, the songs were completely different!
tagging: nobody in particular because I’m shy lol but consider this an open invitation! if you’re looking at this and you’re interested, I think it’d be really fun and I’d love if you could @ me so I can see too! :)
Did you know I came to Japan as an exchange student? 👩🎓
If it hadn’t been for The University of Tokyo, I may have never become a professional singer, never had a major record deal, never have entered the world of game & anime music.
Strange turn of fate huh?!
What a joy and honour it was to be invited back to uni!
The University of Tokyo launched a new program “GlobE”, a center for Global Education which aims to support UTokyo students to gain more global experiences.
It was a very meaningful moment to be able to talk to the current students and my former professors. Studying at this institution literally changed the course of my life in the most unexpected way. As I say in the interview, Japan was a beautiful ‘accident’. There was also surprise performance at the end of the ceremony.
@disneyanddisneyships I've got another prompt that came up!

Elsa's eyes fluttered open, being woken up by the sounds of whimpering, moaning. Albeit a little drowsy, she turned around to the opposite direction behind her and there was Jack. But he's not as peaceful as he often looked when he was sleeping. His eyebrows were knit together and his head kept shaking uncontrollably. She sat up and tried waking him up.
"Jack?" She tried her first attempt, shaking him awake but not too hard that he'd be dizzy. The whimpers only got worse.
"Jack!" She called out, a little louder this time, but not loud enough to wake every other person in the castle. She was shaking him a little harder, but still beging careful. "Jack!"
And there it was, Jack waking up from his slumber of fears almost entirely screaming in agony, but all that came out was a gasp. It was like he was unable to breathe.
"Jack.." Elsa's tone softened, wrapping her arms around him. Her hands found their way to cup his face, gently forcing her to look at him. Their faces were impossibly close yet none of them minded.
"Shhh.. Jack- Jack.. I'm here, love.. I'm here.." She whispered, softly yet it was powerful enough for him to look at her. Tears were brimming his eyes, and though his eyes were on her, he couldn't see a thing. He couldn't see anything but the dream he felt like it was real with every fibre of his being.
Water.
Still, Elsa did not give up. Never would she give up on him.
"It was a dream.. it's over.. I'm here, my love, I'm here.. you're gonna be okay.. nothing can hurt you as long as I'm here.." She kept saying, over and over again as if it was some sort of mantra. "Breathe with me, love.. can you do that?"
Can he?
"Can you do that for me?"
Absolutely.
He nodded, taking in deep breaths alongside her. While she whispered words of assurance to him, her thumb softly caressing his cheek. Seconds passed and his breathing became more steady, and he was slowly calming down.
Elsa gave him a light smile. "You're doing great.."
Moments after he calmed down, he was rested in her arms, neither saying a word after it. Elsa figured he would wanna talk about it, and he needed time to compose himself. If he never wanted to talk about it at all, that would be fine.
She had started humming a tune, while rubbing his back.
Jack on the other hand, no matter how much he wanted to, he just couldn't go back to sleep. He didn't want to. But it was getting more difficult to fight sleep, and with Elsa trying to soothe him, he was scared he'd have the same dream over and over again.
"It's okay, Jack.. I won't go anywhere." She said as she held him a little bit tighter. But he was still fighting with what little strength he had for it.
She kissed the top of his head, stroking his hair. "Shhh.. sleep. I won't let go of you.."
Slowly, he was letting his guard down.
"I love you.."
Then moments later, he let sleep take him once again. But this time, in the arms of the love of his life.
Now he'd been sure about the ring in his drawer back at the pole.

I wanted to do one for this.
Also, do not think of anything else in the very first sentence, he's having a nightmare <3
I've come to eat Pedro Pascal. No you will not be getting him back. And no, I don't share. I'm taking him with me because I don't trust you to take care of this man.
