What drew me to Byan? The fantastic writing, the dedication to world building and most notably the fact that they are so similar to Kitty. Two sides of the same coin ... both react in similar ways, and have such similar feline mannerisms and yet Byan stands as such a distinct character in their own right. I love that you happily adopted Kitty into Byan's world, and I'm so grateful that you continue to understand him.

afjksd ur sweet, wtf... GOD, but i too genuinely adore how similar byan and kitty are. it'll never cease to amaze me (nor fail to make me laugh) what a fucking funny and incredible coincidence it is that they have so much in common... i still remember my first thought when i looked at ur blog after u followed me being like "oh, these two are either going to get along great or they're going to hate each other, and either way i'm in." honestly tho i couldn't NOT adopt kitty into byan's world, i've loved their dynamic from the first interaction and i'm so!! happy for byan to have him in their life!!! he brings that perfect balance of problematic role model who cares but isn't overbearing and also encourages their shitty behaviour that i've always wanted for them ;u; he's their big brother regardless of whether either of them likes it or not, that's the law!!!

fr though thank u ♡♡♡ i'm honestly so glad that u've been just as enthusiastic about these two chaotic messes as i have bc i have so much fun writing and even just talking about them ok

I'm very tired of this "queer college students should stop supporting Palestine, they'd kill you there!" I watched a hijabi ask a trans man, "but what name do you want to go by?" A butch giving a woman their hoodie so that she could keep her hair covered after the cops took her scarf. Muslim girls making sure the lesbian couple got through the system together. Religious men making sure purple haired protestors got out safe. I don't want to hear it. Solidarity forever, free Palestine.
