a comprehensive timeline for this blog. some dates are canon, some are headcanon along with some information - parts of which may be verse specific.

april 27th, 1973 ► chris 𝐫𝐞𝐝𝐟𝐢𝐞𝐥𝐝 is born. august 16th, 1979 ► 𝐜𝐥𝐚𝐢𝐫𝐞 𝐫𝐞𝐝𝐟𝐢𝐞𝐥𝐝 is born. 1983 ► chris befriends billy rabbitson and the two become best friends. 1990 ► graduating from school, chris joins the us air force, meeting 𝐛𝐚𝐫𝐫𝐲 𝐛𝐮𝐫𝐭𝐨𝐧. billy enrols in mit and will, in future, work for umbrella in 𝐫𝐚𝐜𝐜𝐨𝐨𝐧 𝐜𝐢𝐭𝐲. their friendship deteriorates, due to chris' poor ability to keep in touch. 1993 ► orphaned after a vehicle accident. chris becomes 𝐜𝐥𝐚𝐢𝐫𝐞's sole guardian. 1995 ► discharged from the airforce. after speaking to 𝐛𝐚𝐫𝐫𝐲 , chris joins stars and moves to 𝐫𝐚𝐜𝐜𝐨𝐨𝐧 𝐜𝐢𝐭𝐲.

april 18th, 1998 ► billy is "killed" after a crashed flight, chris attends the funeral. june 23rd, 1998 ► chris begins investigating the murders occuring in the arklay mountains. he is working 18 hour shifts daily. july 9th, 1998 ► the rpd closes roads to the arklay mountains due to increasing murders, missing persons and animal attack cases. stars is publically announced to be investigating. july 23rd, 1998 ► stars takes over the murder investigation. chris is contacted by billy, alive, witnesses an attack by the cereberus. on the way to meet with him, chris encounters a woman who has been attacked by a wild animal along with a wrecked car with another dead driver and encounters the cerberus - he reports this to the rpd and leaves the scene. Unable to find billy, he returns to the former crime scene as the police arrive and gets into an argument with 𝐜𝐡𝐢𝐞𝐟 𝐢𝐫𝐨𝐧𝐬. returning to the rpd, chris informs s.t.a.r.s of what happened with the cerberus. 𝐣𝐢𝐥𝐥 confronts him, believing him to be keeping information from her. chris speaks to billy briefly before he dies, who tells him that he worked in the arklay lab and attempting to warn them before the two encounter their first zombie. before they can speak about the event, they are deployed to the arklay mountains after losing contact with bravo team. july 24th - 25th,1998 ► ARKLAY MANSION INCIDENT. alpha team arrives at the crash site and flee into the mansion with 𝐛𝐫𝐚𝐝 𝐯𝐢𝐜𝐤𝐞𝐫𝐬 abandoning them. chris finds 𝐫𝐞𝐛𝐞𝐜𝐜𝐚 𝐜𝐡𝐚𝐦𝐛𝐞𝐫𝐬 and works to solve the mansion and find their missing teammates. making their way through the mansion and finding evidence of umbrella and 𝐰𝐞𝐬𝐤𝐞𝐫’s betrayal, 𝐰𝐞𝐬𝐤𝐞𝐫 is killed by the tryant - the surviving s.t.a.r.s kill the tyrant and escape via helicopter. he, 𝐣𝐢𝐥𝐥, 𝐫𝐞𝐛𝐞𝐜𝐜𝐚, 𝐛𝐚𝐫𝐫𝐲 and brad are the only survivors. with the knowledge that umbrella is corrupt and preforming inhuman experiments on the local population, they attempt to go public with this knowledge after recovering from their injuries and grief. the loss of stars is a disaster for the rpd, and no explanation is given for the arklay mountain murders.

august 8th - 24th, 1998 ► chris confronts irons about the incident, but with no evidence, nothing happens. irons begins to propagandize the event, framing stars as unreliable narrators and suspects. chris is suspended, intentionally pursued in order to conduct his own investigation. he speaks to 𝐣𝐢𝐥𝐥 and 𝐛𝐚𝐫𝐫𝐲 about the g-virus, before leaving the city to go to the paris umbrella facility. shortly after stars disbanded. september 18th, 1998 ► chris flies to germany, going to umbrella's hq. as he is being tracked by umbrella, he suddenly loses communication with the rpd. he is not aware of the outbreak. THE R/ACCOON CITY OUTBREAK. october 3rd, 1998 ► an assassination attempt is made on his life at his hideout by umbrella operative. he flees to budapest. he discovers 𝐫𝐚𝐜𝐜𝐨𝐨𝐧 𝐜𝐢𝐭𝐲's fate over the television report.

december 27th - 28th,1998 ► ROCKFORT ISLAND INCIDENT. after a message from 𝐥𝐞𝐨𝐧, chris arrives on rockfort island searching for his little sister. he encounters 𝐰𝐞𝐬𝐤𝐞𝐫, discovering that the man is alive and is working for a new organisation. with 𝐰𝐞𝐬𝐤𝐞𝐫 fleeing, and chris being informed 𝐜𝐥𝐚𝐢𝐫𝐞 fled the island prior, he follows to the antarctic facility. december 28th,1998 ► ANTARCTIC OUTBREAK. chris reunites with his sister though they are unable to save the infected steve burnside. after battling alexia and ultimately killing her, he is forced to confront and fight with 𝐰𝐞𝐬𝐤𝐞𝐫 whilst 𝐜𝐥𝐚𝐢𝐫𝐞 escapes. the fight ends with 𝐰𝐞𝐬𝐤𝐞𝐫 being injured and fleeing on a submarine, with chris and 𝐜𝐥𝐚𝐢𝐫𝐞 leaving by jet. december 29th,1998 ► he and 𝐜𝐥𝐚𝐢𝐫𝐞 go to canada to stay with the 𝐛𝐮𝐫𝐭𝐨𝐧s before he reunites with 𝐣𝐢𝐥𝐥 and continues their fight against umbrella. january 1st, 1999 ► chris and 𝐣𝐢𝐥𝐥 begin searching for 𝐧𝐢𝐤𝐨𝐥𝐚𝐢, both as a lead for information and revenge. they find and battle him, but ultimately do not succeed in their mission. march 10th - 31st, 2000 ► chris testifies at the raccoon trials. 𝐰𝐞𝐬𝐤𝐞𝐫's involvement leads chris to become aggressive, resulting in his testimony being thrown out.

february 17th, 2003 ► CAUCASUS OUTBREAK. working for the private anti-biohazard service, chris and 𝐣𝐢𝐥𝐥 investigate a village in russia. they encounter a little girl, anna, who is the sole survivor before running into 𝐰𝐞𝐬𝐤𝐞𝐫 once more. believing a bow factory to be nearby, they take anna to safety and enter the facility, ultimately defeating the talos. 2003 ► the ministry of the interior agrees to cooperate with the fbi in a manhunt for 𝐨𝐬𝐰𝐞𝐥𝐥 𝐞. 𝐬𝐩𝐞𝐧𝐜𝐞𝐫. chris continues working with the private anti-biohazard service. 2003 ► the bsaa is founded by the global pharmaceutical consortium. chris 𝐫𝐞𝐝𝐟𝐢𝐞𝐥𝐝, among others, is one of the founding members. june 10th, 2004 ► THE TERRAGRIGIA PANIC. chris, as part of the bsaa, works to combat bows and evacuate survivors in the terragrigia panic. july 1st, 2004 ► after three weeks of fighting, the fbc pull out, forcing the bsaa to abandon the city alongside them.

november 18th, 2005 ► chris is sent to valkoinen mokki airport on a false lead with 𝐣𝐞𝐬𝐬𝐢𝐜𝐚 𝐬𝐡𝐞𝐫𝐚𝐰𝐚𝐭. november 18th, 2005 ► THE QUEEN ZENOBIA INCIDENT. continuing their investigation, the two are routed to the queen semiramis. after discovering they are on the wrong ship, they find their way to the queen zenobia to meet up with 𝐣𝐢𝐥𝐥 and parker. they uncover evidence proving fbc leader 𝐦𝐨𝐫𝐠𝐚𝐧 𝐥𝐚𝐧𝐬𝐝𝐚𝐥𝐞 as responsible for the terragrigia panic. november 19th, 2005 ► chris and 𝐣𝐢𝐥𝐥 escape the zenobia, parker is assumed dead but survives. 𝐣𝐞𝐬𝐬𝐢𝐜𝐚, revealed to be a triple agent, escapes after self destructing the ship, taking samples of the t-abyss virus with her. november 19th, 2005 ► diving to the wreckage of the queen dido, they encounter il veltro leader jack norman, killing him and collecting the evidence to prove 𝐥𝐚𝐧𝐬𝐝𝐚𝐥𝐞's guilt. the fbc is shut down, 𝐥𝐚𝐧𝐬𝐝𝐚𝐥𝐞 is arrested and director clive o'brian resigns in disgrace after his involvement in the operation, putting his agents lives at risk in an attempt to expose the fbc. january 5th, 2006 ► chris continues to try and track down 𝐣𝐞𝐬𝐬𝐢𝐜𝐚, to no avail. she is officially listed as the bsaa's most wanted person.

august 8th, 2006 ► RAID ON THE SPENCER ESTATE. chris and 𝐣𝐢𝐥𝐥 follow a lead to the spencer estate where they confront 𝐰𝐞𝐬𝐤𝐞𝐫, failing to apprehend spencer. 𝐣𝐢𝐥𝐥 sacrifices herself to save chris' life, falling to her death on the cliffside with 𝐰𝐞𝐬𝐤𝐞𝐫. no body is found. november 23rd, 2006 ► the bsaa give up the search for 𝐣𝐢𝐥𝐥's body. her funeral is held and a grave is made. chris does not attend, continuing to search for her, refusing to believe she is dead. september 25th, 2007 ► chris becomes the poster boy of the bsaa after continual successful missions. he is working almost constantly, often alone, obsessively searching for 𝐣𝐢𝐥𝐥. he follows every lead he can find. whilst this does wonders for his reputation, the same cannot be said for his health. his relationship with 𝐛𝐚𝐫𝐫𝐲 and 𝐜𝐥𝐚𝐢𝐫𝐞 suffers under the weight of his addiction to work and his fall into alcoholism. the bsaa only encourage this, with chris' record becoming the talk of the organization. june 18th, 2008 ► chris is recognised as the bsaa's operative with the most missions to his name, solidifying his status as the bsaa's best agent, a level 10 authority. he attempts to follow any previous leads - 𝐣𝐞𝐬𝐬𝐢𝐜𝐚, the kennedy report, eventually working with reynard fisher.

february 19th - 25th, 2009 ► reynard gives intel about 𝐫𝐢𝐜𝐚𝐫𝐝𝐨 𝐢𝐫𝐯𝐢𝐧𝐠, and chris begins following the lead, joining the arrest operation after a rising nationalistic and violent sentiment begins reaching a critical point in kijuju, where 𝐢𝐫𝐯𝐢𝐧𝐠 is operating. seeing photos of a woman caught with 𝐢𝐫𝐯𝐢𝐧𝐠, chris believes it to be 𝐣𝐢𝐥𝐥. march 5th - 7th, 2009 ► KIJUJU AUTONOMOUS ZONE INCIDENT. chris arrives in kijuju and is partnered with 𝐬𝐡𝐞𝐯𝐚 𝐚𝐥𝐨𝐦𝐚𝐫. the two work with 𝐣𝐨𝐬𝐡 𝐬𝐭𝐨𝐧𝐞, following 𝐢𝐫𝐯𝐢𝐧𝐠 and killing him after he infects himself, encountering 𝐰𝐞𝐬𝐤𝐞𝐫 and 𝐞𝐱𝐜𝐞𝐥𝐥𝐚 gionne in the ruins. tricell is revealed to be under 𝐰𝐞𝐬𝐤𝐞𝐫's influence, creating the uroborous virus and infecting the native population in the attempt to begin a global genocide. 𝐣𝐢𝐥𝐥 is revealed to be alive, controlled by 𝐰𝐞𝐬𝐤𝐞𝐫 and the p30, and is rescued by the two. forced to leave her behind, they kill 𝐞𝐱𝐜𝐞𝐥𝐥𝐚, pursue 𝐰𝐞𝐬𝐤𝐞𝐫 and ultimately kill him before being rescued by 𝐣𝐢𝐥𝐥 and josh. april 10th, 2009 ► feeling that his long fight is over, chris switches from soa to sou captain, headhunting members of his team. he recruits 𝐩𝐢𝐞𝐫𝐬 𝐧𝐢𝐯𝐚𝐧𝐬 and 𝐦𝐞𝐫𝐚𝐡 𝐛𝐢𝐣𝐢. 𝐣𝐢𝐥𝐥 begins rehabilitation. chris asks 𝐛𝐚𝐫𝐫𝐲 to join the bsaa, which he accepts, alongside 𝐫𝐞𝐛𝐞𝐜𝐜𝐚 as an advisor.

august 12th, 2010 ► PHILOSOPHY UNIVERSITY OUTBREAK. chris and 𝐩𝐢𝐞𝐫𝐬 are sent to assist 𝐫𝐞𝐛𝐞𝐜𝐜𝐚 𝐜𝐡𝐚𝐦𝐛𝐞𝐫𝐬 at philosophy university, meeting with bsaa agent sophie home as an outbreak occurs. working alongside u.s special forces agent tyler howard, they discover the outbreak was intentionally caused by a student, mary grey, and tyler's father. mary mutates into a tyrant, and she is killed by the bsaa. 2010 ► chris meets 𝐥𝐞𝐨𝐧 𝐤𝐞𝐧𝐧𝐞𝐝𝐲 officially at a terrasave event at 𝐜𝐥𝐚𝐢𝐫𝐞's request. 2010 ► COBRA MART BIOTERROR ATTACK. an outbreak occurs at a mall in the united states, perpetrated by a terrorist group. chris, 𝐩𝐢𝐞𝐫𝐬 and 𝐦𝐞𝐫𝐚𝐡 are sent in to neutralise all bows. 2011 ► chris takes an official leave of absence after 𝐜𝐥𝐚𝐢𝐫𝐞 is recovered from sein island in order to look after her. he refuses to believe the bsaa was complicit in hiding the truth of her and moira's kidnapping, but seeds of doubt are sown regardless. 2011 ► 𝐚𝐝𝐚 𝐰𝐨𝐧𝐠 poses as a bsaa representative to meet with president belikovia during the eastern slav civil war - the president's fact-checking of this alerts the bsaa to someone impersonating them, and an international arrest warrant is filed due to prior connections of the name to 𝐢𝐫𝐯𝐢𝐧𝐠, tricell, and 𝐰𝐞𝐬𝐤𝐞𝐫 though the full extent of her involvement with various events is not truly known by the bsaa. the arrest warrant suddenly disappears, and any bsaa record of her is marked as highly classified and blacklisted.

may 17th - 19th, 2012 ► chris, 𝐩𝐢𝐞𝐫𝐬 and 𝐦𝐞𝐫𝐚𝐡 are sent to neutralise bows in singapore. looking for bsaa advisor and professor doug, they follow his trail to marhawa academy, arriving in kudahnkan. may 21st, 2012 ► MARHAWA SCHOOL INCIDENT. with the academy in the midst of a perpetrated outbreak by bindi and nanan ( manipulated and armed by 𝐜𝐚𝐫𝐥𝐚 𝐫𝐚𝐝𝐚𝐦𝐞𝐬, though this is unknown ), they are left to deal with the outbreak alone as reinforcements will take too long to arrive. doug is infected and euthanised. chris accompanies a survivor, ricky tozawa, who is almost infected by 𝐜𝐚𝐫𝐥𝐚 after she watches chris fight nanan. in a final confrontation with bindi, all four manage to kill her, but as they flee, 𝐦𝐞𝐫𝐚𝐡 is impaled as she throws herself in front of 𝐩𝐢𝐞𝐫𝐬 to save his life. may 22nd, 2012 ► reinforcements finally arrive, purging the school and setting up quarantine. chris and 𝐩𝐢𝐞𝐫𝐬 attend 𝐦𝐞𝐫𝐚𝐡's funeral. their relationship is strengthened, but 𝐩𝐢𝐞𝐫𝐬 is greatly affected by the event and loss. the dynamic between the two changes.

december 24th, 2012 ► EDONIAN CIVIL WAR. after being sent to the edonian republic due to reports of bow warfare following the civil war, chris and 𝐩𝐢𝐞𝐫𝐬 encounter 𝐬𝐡𝐞𝐫𝐫𝐲 𝐛𝐢𝐫𝐤𝐢𝐧, assisting her in reaching her destination. alpha team is killed by "𝐚𝐝𝐚 𝐰𝐨𝐧𝐠" after being infected with the c-virus. chris and 𝐩𝐢𝐞𝐫𝐬 are the only survivors, though chris is in critical condition after receiving a traumatic brain injury. december 25th, 2012 ► an emergency craniotomy is preformed on chris. january 3rd, 2013 ► chris awakens in the hospital with no memories and flees. officially awol, 𝐩𝐢𝐞𝐫𝐬 keeps this information to himself and his team, hoping to locate and retrieve chris. over the next few months, he avoids 𝐜𝐥𝐚𝐢𝐫𝐞 and 𝐣𝐢𝐥𝐥, but attempts to contact 𝐬𝐡𝐞𝐯𝐚 in case chris has made contact. he has not. chris is, in fact, still in edonia - working as a bodyguard for money to pay for his relapse into alcoholism and in return for free lodging. his mental and physical health deteriorate and his amnesia leaves him continually confused. june 29th - 30th, 2013 ► LANSHIANG BIOTERROR ATTACK. chris is found by 𝐩𝐢𝐞𝐫𝐬 and pulled back into the bsaa. he is immediately deployed into wayip and reinstated as alpha team's captain. encountering "𝐚𝐝𝐚", who once again kills chris' team, they chase her, running into 𝐥𝐞𝐨𝐧 𝐤𝐞𝐧𝐧𝐞𝐝𝐲 who attempts to protect her, through the city until she is murdered as they finally confront her. july 1st, 2013 ► following intel from hunnigan and 𝐥𝐞𝐨𝐧, the two continue into the neo-umbrella underwater facility to rescue 𝐬𝐡𝐞𝐫𝐫𝐲 and 𝐣𝐚𝐤𝐞 𝐦𝐮𝐥𝐥𝐞𝐫, 𝐰𝐞𝐬𝐤𝐞𝐫's son, whose blood can be used to create a vaccine for the c-virus. after a tense discussion, the two stay behind to battle haos so 𝐬𝐡𝐞𝐫𝐫𝐲 and jake can escape. 𝐩𝐢𝐞𝐫𝐬 is presumed killed in action after injecting himself with the virus after being practically bisected, in order to save chris' life, but survives, recovered later by the bsaa off the coast of china. the bsaa sustains heavy losses in lanshiang. 2013 ► chris returns to active duty within the bsaa. october 22nd, 2013 ► QUERETARO MANSION INCIDENT. working alongside the mexican army, chris participates in the operation to apprehend suspected bow dealer 𝐠𝐥𝐞𝐧𝐧 𝐚𝐫𝐢𝐚𝐬. the team is killed and chris is critically injured, allowing 𝐚𝐫𝐢𝐚𝐬 to escape.

2013 ► the counter-terrorism rapid response team, silver dagger, is formed by the bsaa using extra-legal intelligence gathering to investigate suspects. chris joins the team, led by d.c, along with damian and nadia. february 13th, 2014 ► ATTACK ON THE ALEXANDER INSTITUTE OF BIOTECHNOLOGY. after 𝐫𝐞𝐛𝐞𝐜𝐜𝐚 alerts the who to the creation of a vaccine to the recent a-virus, chris is on route with silver dagger when an outbreak occurs in the alexander institute. february 13th - 14th, 2014 ► NEW YORK BIOTERROR ATTACK. after meeting with 𝐥𝐞𝐨𝐧, 𝐫𝐞𝐛𝐞𝐜𝐜𝐚 is kidnapped by 𝐚𝐫𝐢𝐚𝐬 and infected as the a-virus is leaked through new york. hoping to deploy 𝐫𝐞𝐛𝐞𝐜𝐜𝐚's vaccine, chris and 𝐥𝐞𝐨𝐧 attack 𝐚𝐫𝐢𝐚𝐬, killing him and saving 𝐫𝐞𝐛𝐞𝐜𝐜𝐚. the vaccine manages to "cure" those who have been infected. damian is killed during the events of the outbreak. nadia is court martialled due to her use of the railgun. october 2014 ► the bsaa attempt to apprehend and capture the bioweapon 𝐞𝐯𝐞𝐥𝐢𝐧𝐞, but fail. 2015 ► chris is sent into the mojave desert with the bsaa to investigate aeolus edge west, looking for ties to the connections and the development of the e-series bioweapons.

2015 ► THE ALCATRAZ ISLAND INCIDENT. 𝐣𝐢𝐥𝐥 begins working in the field again, under supervision of chris. the two, 𝐜𝐥𝐚𝐢𝐫𝐞, 𝐫𝐞𝐛𝐞𝐜𝐜𝐚 and 𝐥𝐞𝐨𝐧 investigate a series of incidents leaving tourists infected. the 𝐫𝐞𝐝𝐟𝐢𝐞𝐥𝐝s are infected with the t-virus, but cured by 𝐫𝐞𝐛𝐞𝐜𝐜𝐚.

july 18th, 2017 ► THE BAKER HOUSE INCIDENT. overseeing a blue umbrella operation, to his chagrin, chris arrives at the 𝐛𝐚𝐤𝐞𝐫 house in dulvey lousiana, rescuing 𝐞𝐭𝐡𝐚𝐧 and 𝐦𝐢𝐚 𝐰𝐢𝐧𝐭𝐞𝐫𝐬. pursuing 𝐥𝐮𝐜𝐚𝐬 𝐛𝐚𝐤𝐞𝐫 in the hopes of apprehending him, the blue umbrella team is killed one by one, until chris confronts lucas in the mines after a failed assassination attempt. lucas mutates and is killed, and chris destroys all computers to stop 𝐞𝐯𝐞𝐥𝐢𝐧𝐞's data being sent to any third parties. august 2017 ► as a personal favour to 𝐞𝐭𝐡𝐚𝐧, chris returns to the bayou's quarantined zone to search for 𝐳𝐨𝐞 - finding her safe, alive, with her uncle joe and managing to "cure" her of the mold. handing this over to the bsaa, he presumes 𝐦𝐢𝐚 and 𝐳𝐨𝐞 to be cured. september 2017 ► with 𝐩𝐢𝐞𝐫𝐬 released from bsaa custody and rehabilitation, chris asks him to move in with the 𝐫𝐞𝐝𝐟𝐢𝐞𝐥𝐝s in order to support him. november 2017 ► chris begins training 𝐞𝐭𝐡𝐚𝐧 and builds a friendship with him. he has no idea 𝐞𝐭𝐡𝐚𝐧 is infected. the bsaa know this, but keep this information from him. 2018 ► chris continues to stay involved in the 𝐰𝐢𝐧𝐭𝐞𝐫𝐬' life, hoping to support them but also gather information from 𝐦𝐢𝐚 about her former employers. she refuses to discuss it. 2018 ► with the bsaa covering up the dulvey incident and their shared responsibility for inciting it due to the failed attempt to capture 𝐞𝐯𝐞𝐥𝐢𝐧𝐞, chris loses faith in the bsaa, seeing it as corrupt. he feeds information to 𝐳𝐨𝐞, commanders control of the 𝐡𝐨𝐮𝐧𝐝 𝐰𝐨𝐥𝐟 𝐬𝐪𝐮𝐚𝐝 - bringing nadia and dc with him into the squad - effectively going rogue. the team begin following the trail from the connections to 𝐦𝐢𝐫𝐚𝐧𝐝𝐚. 2020 ► chris' suspicions are all but confirmed when the bsaa moves the 𝐰𝐢𝐧𝐭𝐞𝐫𝐬 family to romania.

Technically this is a part two of something I've done before, this is one of the characters I love the most! So I hope you guys can have fun with it.

Some things that I imagine he might have:

🍵🍃— Whenever Laito smiles, dimples form on his cheeks.

💚 🌿 — His skin has a smooth texture, often maintaining a pale complexion typical of vampires but with a healthy glow that suggests vitality.

🍵🍃 — When he walks, Laito's gait is purposeful yet fluid. He moves with a natural grace just for draws attention.

💚 🌿 — Laito's voice is velvety and smooth.

🍵🍃 — Laito has a well-defined collarbone, as well as shoulder blades.

💚 🌿 — Laito doesn't have a lot of hair, whether facially or bodily, the only places that hair can be seen without much searching are on his eyebrows and hair, however when you look at him more closely it's possible see small ginger hairs that adorn his skin, it's like the skin of a peach.

🍵🍃 — When it comes to body hair, it can be said that he is the middle ground between the triplets, with Kanato and Ayato being two polar opposites in this aspect.

💚🌿 — I like to imagine Laito having freckles too, considering he is a redhead. In my opinion, both Ayato and Laito could share these characteristics. There is no canon basis to support this, but I like to think so.

🍵🍃 — Laito definitely has some moles scattered across his body besides the one he has on his cheek; I suppose he has some on his shoulder and forearm, and another set of them on his abdomen.

💚🌿 — His hair is soft and very well taken care of, this is probably one of the parts he is most proud of.

🍵🍃— Long legs.

💚🌿 — Wide torso.

🍵🍃 — Laito's skin is surprisingly sensitive to touch, reacting subtly to different textures and temperatures.

💚🌿 — His eyes are lighter in tone than Ayato's eyes; however, unlike his brother, Laito's eyes are brighter, although hazier. It is often difficult to read his true emotions through his eyes.

🍵🍃 — Still commenting on his eyes, Laito has sharp eyes like those of a feline; their curvature is pointed, as if he had natural eyeliner.

💚🌿 — Laito has slightly calloused fingers due to many years of practicing with the piano; however, they are very smooth, almost imperceptible in a quick interaction with him.

🍵🍃 — He has a slender neck.

💚🌿 — Laito's hands are particularly expressive, often gesturing or playing with objects.

🍵🍃 — He usually smells of sweet-smelling cologne and soap, which varies depending on the type he chose that day.

mizu has always been a trauma regressor to me, especially due to their lack of dealing with their feelings head on. their body would have to nearly force them to stop and take a break from their revenge mission and focus on recovering.

the first time she regressed would be terrifying to her, the feeling of being so out of control and helpless would make her hide away to try to push herself out of it as fast as possible.

it would take an incredible amount of time and trust developed before she felt safe around someone to tell, let alone show such a vulnerable state.

the select characters that i could realistically see her regressing around would be sword father or ringo.

if she were to regress voluntarily it would be to have the childhood that she wished she could have, one where she wasn't forced to grow up as a boy and to ease her gender dysphoria with feminine items/clothing.

she would be a very independent kiddo, not wanting to rely on others in fear that she would be an inconvenience or she would be punished for wasting someone's time after being treated as a monster for so long. if she were honest she genuinely wouldn't know how to react to such affection.

that being said, she needs gentle reassurance when in a younger state with a caregiver that helps her along the way. adding fruit/vegetables to her meals to make sure its balanced or mending their clothes would never go unnoticed and greatly appreciated.

she'd be so used to the feeling of being in pain or nauseous that she'd have a hard time differentiating pain that should be attended to or not. therefore her caregiver would need to keep an eye on her and remind her that any and all pain is worth looking at/caring for.

as a sentimental person she'd want to keep things gifted to her and wear or use them as comfort items until they physically can't be repaired anymore.

some of her favorite gifts would include free flowing or baggy clothes that she can keep close to her person for comfort.

her main comfort item is her sword, and would not be able to go anywhere or sleep without it clutched to her side as it reminds her of home and is something that she can rely on to keep her safe.

an actually extremely feral regressor as well if given the chance to be her true self (/lh /pos). i could absolutely see them wanting to play outside and then coming back home caked in mud and bruises while having the time of their life.

let her be a goofy kid!! growing up so fast from situations out of her control that she'd long for days where she'd let herself have fun.

they can get easily frustrated with creative tasks, and would prefer specific instruction in order to feel useful. it would make them the best helper around.

would love to play a game where they are the hero for once. (being called a monster can wear someone down mentally and it would definitely make her day to be seen as the hero of the story).

she also requires a ton of quiet time to allow her mind and body to rest. would she ever do it herself willingly is another question for another day, but she'd reluctantly do it if asked of her with sufficient gentle praise and coaxing.

as touch starved as they are, i can't see her being the one to initiate contact with someone unless the moment takes over her softer side and she can't help but wrap her arms around them or gently nudge them with her body to tell them that she's there and cares for them.

from her caregiver or those that she considers close she would accept forms of physical affection but wouldn't be too vocal on how much it means to her.

she'd believe that she'd never be able to repay her caregiver for their kindness but will continually try to find little things throughout the day to show them how grateful she is.

oddly enough i could totally see her gifting a sword to her caregiver as it is something that she believes she's good at and would work tirelessly day and night to make sure it's perfect.

despite being in a younger mindset she can and still would mean business to anyone who dares mess with her caregiver. even a baby phoenix still has talons.

I was really impatient with this one! Like really! This might be looking like a regular romantic fanart, but!

🌿Earlier friendship!

This piece is illustrating shows how I see their previous part of whole dynamic. The friendship. I mean for both of them it was such, but Sally had an extra feeling already these days. They had some things in common, some things were introduced. I think Jack is extremely old actually so he remembers a lot from history (not because he witnessed it but because he read a lot, like Sally (her life is much shorter tho)) or other interesting theory (magic of flame, pumpkins, only surface of art of scaring) etc. And Sally would tell a lot about plants and potions (and how to sew up something and related life hacks) etc.

Relationship is a basis. Two people learn about each other, building all the best altruistic details and developing feelings. Later this might morph into something bigger and stronger (like becoming very special to each other and being ready to spend a life together). Differently, but I believe something like this was happening. Sally had it all much earlier, and Jack was probably too fixated on himself and his problems. Seems like only after half-death his vision cleared. Something like this.

Leshy, The Chaos Bishop of The Green Crown in Darkwood!

Here’s some Leshy Headcanons!

Before Being Indoctrinated:

🌿 • Leshy is the youngest of the Bishops and so he gets babied and has more freedom on how he acts and portrays himself to his followers and the other bishops

🌿 • He sees mortals as playthings or toys so he plays pranks on them often and doesn’t really care for their personal emotions. Narinder always plays along being a huge prankster as well

🌿 • He definitely has some sort of ADHD. He constantly changes plans or activities on a whim with little to no thought

🌿 • Along with his schedule being unpredictable so is his mood. He can be playful one moment and sadistic the next

🌿 • If his followers think to even cross him he will devour them without a second thought. Even if a follower does nothing wrong and follows his every whim he will sometimes decide to eat them anyway

🌿 • As the Bishop of Darkwood his society is responsible for the steady wood supply throughout The Old Faith

After Being Indoctrinated:

🌿 • He is the most defensive and verbally hostile Bishop in the cult. He hisses out insults any chance he gets. Usually Shamura has to calm him down

🌿 • Leshy is completely blind so his hearing and smell is heightened. He can distinguish individuals on scent alone

🌿 • Because of this he suffers from sensory overload quite often. A method of grounding himself is to gently stroke and sniff the Camelia flower he has hidden

🌿 • Still has the ability to burrow underground. Usually only does it when he is under some sort of stress or extreme emotion

🌿 • Enjoys gardening even if he can’t see. The calm environment with the earthy smells remind him of Darkwood, giving him a sense of comfort

🌿 • Tends to cling onto his siblings for reassurance, usually Heket as she makes him feel safe

🌿 • His diet is now strictly vegan as during his Indoctrination he developed the inability to digest any animal by-product. He still misses eating meat and flesh

🌿 • Leshy surprisingly is 6’1ft tall for being the youngest Bishop. He uses this height to intimidate others simply to prank them and fill his chaotic nature

Each one is so well thought out, fits seamlessly with their portrayals to help shape not only them, but build up the world itself to something that feels real, nitty & gritty but so believable. I don’t have the words to describe it, but they’re insanely skilled in worldbuilding from all I’ve seen since I’ve followed & I highly recommend them because the effort they put into their portrayals is incredible!

Anon who asked about frosty options for a Milo romancing mc here, back to shout about chapter 12. Damn, that Baron reveal and the way the book ended and the conversations with Mal uuungh. Loved them all. The confrontation with Milo was my favorite bit though, because of how many reactions MC gets to have and how differently it played out for my MCs. Cool, levelheaded Milo romancing MC lost their cool and kind of fell for Milo's distractions/deflections cause even though they should know Milo better than to take the bait, they were too emotional. All rationality going out the window because they were feeling so much and, tbh, that suited them better than the calmer options. (I just love seeing usually collected people let go of their neatly-wrapped-and-labeled emotions and let loose.) Too in love with Milo to be unaffected. Truly a testament to how much he means to them. Honestly, it worked beautifully with the climax you were building up to. (can't wait to see Milo being eaten up by anguish and self-hatred again though lbr that's his natural state of being deep down.)

On the other hand, my Gabriel romancing MC (who I imagine is more socially aware/practised and in tune with their emotions) dealt with Milo in such a calm manner, I loved it. They were able to... Discern and see Milo, to read his mood and little twitches. They took a look at his bullshit and said 'Nah.' (They were a lot less zen during that Gabriel reveal though. 👀)

Overall, stellar chapter and it ends on such a great cliffhanger. I'm so so excited for book 2, you have no idea. And, again, I know there's only so much personality customization we can do (the story needs to be told after all) but I truly appreciate the varied options we've gotten. It makes headcanoning or considering (roleplaying) aspects of MC development so much fun.

Truly, thank you for putting your story out into the world, I've been having great fun and I'm so very excited for the edited version and release and, eventually, book 2. Wishing you all the best and that the kickstarter goes well.

Milo will react to what the predominate mood of the room is. With an angry MC, he can get cocky. He can start goading. He can try to make you hate him.

A levelheaded MC throws him for a loop. He'll try to needle his way in somewhere, look for the chink in the armor, but in the end, he slips up because he lets his fear and emotions he's trying to hide, get the best of him. This is the type of MC that really puts Milo not on even footing.

And a sad MC breaks his heart. He hates seeing someone cry and he hates to see disappointment on their face.

I really do try to give you guys different emotional reactions so you can all take things further in your headcannon of your MC. I do this all within reason of course but I try to get very standard personality tropes you can play with in the game and I don't lock you off from one type of personality just because you've been playing something one way for the entire game. In life, we vary our emotions based on the situation. I've never liked being locked into a shy character just because that's how my MC has been all game. Because people break, sometimes. And they can get mean sometimes. Or they can become so done that they are numb. I never want to take those options from your MC. :)

small headcanon list of things that aren’t important enough to write my usual 3k essays on. updated: 27.06.23.

chris has an issue answering phones at night ( it’s mentioned in the pre-re1 novel that it’s a fear stemming from receiving the call that his parents had died ). aside from that, he’s notoriously bad at answering his phone as it is, but at night it’s almost impossible to reach him by call - he does respond to texts though.

chris’ apartment isn’t particularly large or extravagant, but it’s extremely cozy, if not cramped. he lives with 𝐜𝐥𝐚𝐢𝐫𝐞 ( verse / thread dependant ofc ) because it’s easier for the both of them to share since they are both out of the country for extended periods of time and it allows them more chances to see each other when they’re both home.

following on from above, it’s not uncommon for 𝐦𝐨𝐢𝐫𝐚 to crash for a week or two, same with 𝐣𝐢𝐥𝐥. after 𝐩𝐢𝐞𝐫𝐬 was released from bsaa quarantine, he moved in ( at chris’ insistence, stemming from a lot of guilt and how 𝐩𝐢𝐞𝐫𝐬 now needed care until he adjusted ) but 𝐩𝐢𝐞𝐫𝐬 has made himself quite comfortable. the 𝐫𝐞𝐝𝐟𝐢𝐞𝐥𝐝 household is one that is often full of people, and he likes it that way.

he used to very much be a dog person but, like all things, umbrella ruined that. he’s not...scared of them, but he gets very uncomfortable, agitated and anxious around them ( especially the breeds used for cerberus ) - after all, he watched dogs rip joseph apart. similarly, he gets very uncomfortable around open fires ( due to having to burn the bodies to prevent crimson heads, antartica and edonia ).

as a teenager with a bad attitude, he tried to be a rebellious rock kid but it didn’t really work out because he was genuinely too nice. the only thing he kept from it was the issues with authority and his guitar ( which was unfortunately lost, like his car, in raccoon’s destruction ).

whilst he lived in raccoon, he had a shitty apartment that rarely had power. most of his money went straight to 𝐜𝐥𝐚𝐢𝐫𝐞, both to fund her college tuition and provide for her as he was now the adult of the family, so he could only afford rent. luckily, he spent a lot of time crashing at the burton’s or 𝐣𝐢𝐥𝐥’s place. a lot of time too, whoever was the first to arrive at the STARS office would find him asleep at the desk because he hadn’t gone home.

chris' sex life died with 𝐫𝐚𝐜𝐜𝐨𝐨𝐧 𝐜𝐢𝐭𝐲, so to speak. he enjoyed the attention he got being a young police offer, ex-air force pilot, attractive cis white man who was charismatic. sex took a priority once he and 𝐣𝐢𝐥𝐥 began fighting bioterrorism and eventually became a silent frustration for him as a very physical guy. following his tbi, excessive trauma and alcoholism, sex has become even less of a priority and one night stands are completely off the table due to his own issues with self-image and performance following his health complications.

romance, similarly, has often been off the table - partly due, for many years, to his "secret" pining for 𝐣𝐢𝐥𝐥 ( though everyone knows it ). after her "death" he briefly attempted to go on a few dates, after being pushed by 𝐛𝐚𝐫𝐫𝐲 repeatedly to try and move on as chris' grief was becoming consuming, but these ended disastrously. he's also unwilling to even consider dating someone who is his subordinate ( exceptions for people who he was involved with prior who then had their rank lowered / changed to another role ).

chris' heart is his biggest weakness. even after everything he's seen and been through and his attempts to maintain a professional relationship and clear boundary between personal life and professional, it never works. even in village, his attempts to treat 𝐞𝐭𝐡𝐚𝐧 as a civilian are awkward, aggressive and ultimately pointless as he ends up getting involved anyway. he could have called in the squad to extradite 𝐞𝐭𝐡𝐚𝐧 from the area, given 𝐞𝐭𝐡𝐚𝐧 is a civilian as far as he was aware, but didn't, instead choosing to work alongside 𝐞𝐭𝐡𝐚𝐧 ( though poorly, it's fine capcom ).

despite popular opinion, chris can cook - he had to, after all, he was the sole provider for his sister. he's not particularly good at it but he can cook a decent meal, but rarely cooks for himself, often preferring to take the "lazy" route and get takeout instead. in 𝐫𝐚𝐜𝐜𝐨𝐨𝐧 𝐜𝐢𝐭𝐲, he would go to emmy's diner every night, both unwilling to cook after a long day at work but also for the atmosphere and company.

the little girl chris & 𝐣𝐢𝐥𝐥 found and protected in the caucasus, anna, is someone he keeps in touch with regularly. sometimes, she stays with chris for christmas.

the penny in chris’ stars wallet ( and kept with him since then ) was his father’s so-called lucky penny. depending how you view his constant survival, it may or may not be so lucky.

despite their opposing personalities, chris really liked jessica. whilst he was somewhat oblivious to her flirting (and on times when he recognised it, assumed it was joking), she was a capable soa and was confident in her abilities. jessica’s betrayal did shake him - it hurt, though certainly not as much as say, 𝐰𝐞𝐬𝐤𝐞𝐫’s betrayal - but he thought they had a good friendship and especially since he’d worked with her as a partner for a few missions ( which is rare that he would ever work with someone who isn’t 𝐣𝐢𝐥𝐥 ). it made him question the bsaa and who worked for them, since no one had suspected she was a double agent, and more so his trust in people, which only confirmed his paranoia was something to take into account. if jessica did reappear, he would have a lot of anger for her - but would probably be willing to listen to her if she wanted to explain, because that’s just how he is. he’s probably convinced jessica had to for some reason he doesn’t understand, not because she was a double agent from the start.

he used to ride a motorcycle, but traded it for a more ‘adult’ car when he joined STARS. it was a silver shelby cobra ( again, mentioned in the pre-re1 novel ) that also got destroyed in raccoon. he’s still upset about it.

thanks to merah, he’s managed to pick up bits and pieces of indonesian but he’s not fluent. it’s mostly just nicknames and insults she would call him and 𝐩𝐢𝐞𝐫𝐬, along with food orders.

official or not, chris considers himself to be godfather to 𝐦𝐨𝐢𝐫𝐚 and polly.

given his quotation of transformers in re5, he’s more of a dork than he lets on and most definitely watched transformers, teenage mutant ninja turtles, he-man, etc.

prior to leaving for europe, chris put a lot of his valuables into storage - unfortunately, not enough, as he thought he’d be coming back to 𝐫𝐚𝐜𝐜𝐨𝐨𝐧 𝐜𝐢𝐭𝐲 and irons wouldn’t allow him to collect any of his things from the s.t.a.r.s office when he was fired. whilst some of it was sentimental, it also served as evidence ( if nothing else for himself ). with raccoon’s destruction, the box of mementos is some of the only proof he ever had a life there. it’s a box that’s rarely looked at and remains tucked away under his bed collecting dust - there’s some old drawings 𝐜𝐥𝐚𝐢𝐫𝐞 did of them as a kid that he kept pinned to his fridge once upon a time ( much to her embarrassment ), old fading polaroids of s.t.a.r.s ( many of which were taken of him, joseph and forest ), his id badge and keycard for the rpd, and the dogtags collected from forests corpse on the balcony of the arklay mansion ( he couldn’t get to joseph’s, and he and forest had been friends since the military ). he used to reminisce over it on occasion, but since edonia he hasn’t opened it up once as he doesn’t want to admit the brain injury has caused him to struggle with remembering the names of his fallen friends.

he flew himself and 𝐜𝐥𝐚𝐢𝐫𝐞 back from antartica with several broken ribs ( as being blown out of an elevator onto the nose of a jet via explosion will do that to you ) and upon arriving in europe and finding 𝐛𝐚𝐫𝐫𝐲 and 𝐣𝐢𝐥𝐥, was promptly smacked in the face by 𝐣𝐢𝐥𝐥 for leaving without a word and not telling anyone where he’d went because he was trying to play hero.

after 𝐣𝐢𝐥𝐥’s ‘death’ in 2006, chris’s drinking started to get out of hand. despite the fact he was almost never home ( much against 𝐜𝐥𝐚𝐢𝐫𝐞’s wishes ), he was often working alone on missions - whether from the bsaa or following up on his own information and sources he’d scraped together. first it started as something to distract him from his grief, but eventually grew into a dependency needed to sleep and to forget - a lifetime of unacknowledged and untreated trauma started to catch up with him, and 𝐣𝐢𝐥𝐥’s death had been the catalyst for it all rising to the surface. with no one around to recognise the warning signs, it steadily got worse. eventually, it was 𝐛𝐚𝐫𝐫𝐲 who confronted him about it after an accidental overdose of sleeping pills coupled with extremely heavy drinking - it’s something that’s stayed between the two. despite 𝐛𝐚𝐫𝐫𝐲 being a father figure, he has his own children to look after, and so couldn’t keep an eye on chris’s drinking following that - not that he would have been able to even without 𝐦𝐨𝐢𝐫𝐚 and polly. when 𝐣𝐢𝐥𝐥 was found and recovered, the habit didn’t stop. whilst she might have her suspicions, especially in the months following kijuju, chris managed to keep it hidden for the most part simply because she was in rehabilitation and being monitored by the bsaa which allowed him to go back to the habit when she wasn’t around.

chris' relationship with 𝐥𝐞𝐨𝐧 is stressed at best and antagonistic at worst and often suffers from the fact his main connection to the man is through 𝐜𝐥𝐚𝐢𝐫𝐞 - so his opinion is influenced by her perception, especially when she's mad at 𝐥𝐞𝐨𝐧. he doesn't dislike 𝐥𝐞𝐨𝐧, but just can't seem to avoid an argument or two every time they interact. despite this, he has a lot of respect for him and appreciates what he does, but the majority of their interaction comes at the behest of and under the supervision of 𝐜𝐥𝐚𝐢𝐫𝐞. he thinks 𝐥𝐞𝐨𝐧 is fighting a losing battle with regards to politics, and thinks the bureaucracy of working for the us government is 𝐥𝐞𝐨𝐧's real job, not fighting bioterrorism and eventually, he'll have to pick between one or the other.

something chris really wants to do is have a family. he’s always been a very family orientated person and he’s always wanted to be a dad. in his youth the idea of settling down and having the little white picket fence seemed absurd and far from anything he’d want, but in the absence of having a normal life it’s become an unobtainable goal. he’s almost fifty now, and especially following his brain damage and everything that came with it, he can’t keep doing this forever but doesn’t feel like there’s any other option. it’s not like him to sit idly by, and he’s been out of a normal life for so long that he doesn’t know how to live one any more. even if he settled down and had the chance to have kids, he wouldn’t want to have them in a world where these things are still happening and getting worse every time - because he knows he couldn’t give up trying to stop them and he doesn’t want to leave his children without their father because he’s been through that.

related to the above, he absolutely dotes on rosemary. he tries to be the good but stern father and guide her, but she has him absolutely wrapped around her tiny fingers.

aside from that, he really wants to walk 𝐜𝐥𝐚𝐢𝐫𝐞 down the aisle. even if her youth, much like him, she was a heartbreaker and a playboy but she’s always been great with kids - whilst he isn’t ever sure he would be an uncle, he wanted to walk her down the aisle when she got married. but given how things went, and how similar she is to him and her refusal to get out of this life, he knows it’s probably not going to happen. it doesn’t stop him from trying to convince her though - because he knows if she ever does get married, he’s running out of time that he’ll be able to do it. 𝐜𝐥𝐚𝐢𝐫𝐞 go get married so he can. you can get divorced afterwards it’s fine.

despite the bonds he has and how he values and respects each and every friend and partner he's had, chris would not bring them along as part of hound squad with a few minor exceptions soley due to the fact that it is a risky rogue operation that could put them in danger - and though they could probably handle that and manage just fine, their careers would also be on the line. he knows that with his actions, the bsaa are likely monitoring his communications and by contacting anyone such as 𝐬𝐡𝐞𝐯𝐚 or 𝐣𝐨𝐬𝐡, parker, keith, sophie, he's putting them at risk. one exception is quint, who has been assisting in feeding them information and covering their tracks . whilst he's willing to risk his own, he's not going to use, endanger and destroy the livelihoods of those he cares about for his moral compass. following his suspension, he finally got what he wanted, passing over his mantle to @greenherb's 𝐩𝐢𝐞𝐫𝐬 as his replacement, taking nadia and dc from silver dagger and absorbing them into hws ( capcom forgot them but i won't ) and keeping extremely limited contact with those he trusts.
