Rewatching the TWW trailer again for the millionth time and I think its really interesting how Anduin is like got a botched hair cut and dirty scarred skin and chapped lips and has been wearing the same armor for seven years thats caked in sand and his mental health has crumbled to dust BUT his teeth are still utterly perfect.

which begs the question, was this an oversight, or does Anduin have this ocd-like obsession with keeping his teeth clean, in which he needs to brush his teeth or else something worse will happen? A leftover from being rasied in a setting in which appearances are everything, and having let go of his appearance he needs to do sooomething to ease that internal shame? Maybe the simple repetitive action of maintaining his teeth daily is something that grounds him to life, reminds him he exists, and eases the dissociation episodes.

I have one more thing I want to work on before I get back into updating 2AL regularly, but until then......

i think pauls tribute to george is beautiful btw like yeah it doesnt sound like george cuz it ISNT george, i dont think anyone can replicate that at all, its the fact that he thought of it and decided to try and it still sounded beautiful and worked with the song composition! obviously the ideal situation we wouldve had george have his own guitar solo, but also if this was ideal john would still be here. I think paul put a lot of heart and soul into that solo and even if it isnt george its FOR george and i think thats very special :,)

And you know what, they'll dress like it too, they'll act like it too. From Gen Z slang to old timey sayings, they've got the vocabulary that speaks to everyone. From one time fads to styles that remain consistent through the years, they'll find an occasion to wear it. From bingo nights to club nights, they'll be there among the crowd. They are everyone all at once.

properly got the chance to read through the statements made by pomme dapper and ramons admins (plus admin 18s and some of the twitter update admins) and jeez i feel so bad for them but especially pommes admin. something incredibly sinister about focusing so much mistreatment on the admin who comes from the country where the union efforts are coming from while making merch of the character they played. capitalism is the enemy of creativity. whoever the people are that are removing admins without notice, theyre the ones that deserve to be removed from the project. not the egg/worker/animal admins that the whole fucking story is built on the backs of

You know I think it's more appropriate to consider covers in project sekai representation of like performances or songs the unit would sing mainly cause I've realised there are a lot of difference between unit's musical style and the story itself.

The biggest like difference you can see is in MMJ and WxS's cover choices (and even comm producer choices sometimes).

Often MMJ get the more serious and sad songs even though story wise it doesn't necessarely always matches with MMJ's own story which is more or less pretty positive as of right now.

Compared to WxS, who during probably their lowest point in their story they got covers like Childish War and Wonderful Cat's Life.

Now I don't like comparing unit angst or something like that but MMJ overall has been doing better than WxS in terms of character moral.

So like the difference kinda creates a tonal dissonance for me ? So in the end I think what the covers are meant to be in that case is simply how the unit presents itself.

Idk what the take away to this is, it was just like an interesting thing to point out.

to be honest I'm still really bad at proper selfshipping, like actual storylines and relationship headcanons with a real self-insert instead of a fic mc. if you ever sent me a selfship ask and I didn't respond, it's not that I am ignoring you it's just that I've been thinking about it for days/weeks/months and I still don't have a reply 💀
